Book Reading Event Featuring Benjamin Netanyahu’s Brother Canceled

A non-governmental organization (NGO) that receives funding from Germany’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has a reputation for enacting cancel culture on Jews.

As a result, a book reading event starring Dr. Iddo Netanyahu, Benjamin Netanyahu’s brother, has been canceled.

Ironically, the satirical book he was meant to read, “Itamar K.,” deals specifically with the issue of limiting free expression.

Berlin was supposed to host the event last week, courtesy of German-Israeli Society (DIG), an association that promotes German/Israeli relations.

A letter was sent to Netanyahu informing him that the event had to be canceled due to purported affiliations with certain groups across the political spectrum. Netanyahu said the cancelation letter said, “We hope you understand.”

Silencing is a central element in his book. Observers who point out that the DIG’s Berlin-Brandenburg chapter, which is supposed to support Israel, has labeled Netanyahu “persona non grata” have brought attention to the absurdity of the cancellation.

The author’s ties to German political far-right parties were cited as the reason for the cancelation, according to the DIG’s website.

According to Netanyahu, the DIG has been swayed by the left and is averse to hearing from some groups.

Netanyahu has made flawless presentations in many German locations. The renowned author has given speeches at many events, including those in Freiburg, Bavaria, Dresden, and Hanover, as well as to the Jewish community in Bamberg.

Dr. Rafael Korenzecher, publisher of the German-Jewish weekly Jewish Review, met with Netanyahu during the author’s recent book tour across Germany. The publication replied with an angry article, accusing DIG president Volker Beck of blocking the reading because the author isn’t left-wing enough. The post claimed that the group was reluctant to host an associate of the prime minister of Israel.

The way Beck has run the group that is supposedly pro-Israel has drawn criticism in the past.

Beck has been the target of persistent criticism from Likud lawmakers, who support Benjamin Netanyahu’s party and see the propagation of anti-Zionist ideas in him. In 2022, this issue was addressed by Amichai Chikli, who is now the Minister for Diaspora Affairs and for combatting antisemitism.

While discussing Beck and the DIG last year, Ariel Kallner, a legislator from the Likud party, said that having friends like these is not helpful at all.

Cancel Culture, Woke

Even Book Publishers Are Cowering to Cancel Culture Now

Just two weeks after its 2016 publication, Jonah Winter’s children’s book “A Birthday Cake for George Washington” was canceled by Scholastic. Images depicting smiling slaves in the book sparked outrage online and led to a petition calling for its revocation. It was irrelevant that the artist was black or that the editor was a giant in the children’s book industry and also black.

Since its publication on January 5, 2016, the book has been heavily criticized for its images. The drawings are based on an imagined description of Hercule’s afternoon, the enslaved chef of George Washington.

In his editorial, Winters explains that if George Washington had wanted to, he could have brought in the best chefs in the world. Instead, he trusted Hercules to oversee the preparation of the family’s meals, state banquets, and other formal occasions. Hercules had unmatched talent through apprenticeship and self-study.

However, a social-media mob forced a large publisher to stop distributing the book. He explains that progressive activists on social media have been rising and calling for cancellation. Children’s book publishers are constantly on edge because these campaigners may be seen as challenging to their puritanical principles.

A new social rule is that a book’s subject matter should correspond with the author’s identity. Whites should not write about Blacks. Straight males should not write about gay women, and so forth.

Activists also think certain books are bad for kids and should be removed from shelves. If the goals of the right-wing activists seem suspiciously similar, that’s because they are. The main distinction is that the left-wing version wants the destruction of the texts they oppose, while right-wing activists just seek the removal of certain books from specific schools.

Reading While White is a blog that placed Winter on a blacklist.  There is no proof that Winter or any of the other white writers were racist, but the contributors, liberal whites who condemn other liberal whites for racism, nevertheless made baseless accusations.

Winter believes non-white and gay writers, who have often self-canceled in response to online harassment, are among the many casualties of cancel culture too. Ironically, these are the exact demographics cancel culture’s perpetrators claim to be fighting for. But as is evidenced time and time again by their actions, their main goal is power.

Dr. Phil Is Taking a Sledgehammer to the Crazy Woke Agenda

Severnty-three-year-old Dr. Phil, whose real name is Phil McGraw, has generously allowed Entertainment Tonight (ET) to get a sneak peek at some exciting things happening in the coming weeks.

The talk show host gave a tour of his network’s Texas studio, Merit Street Media, and discussed his latest book in an exclusive interview with ET’s Kevin Frazier.

According to McGraw, “Merit Street” was not a random selection. He believes in the American ideal of meritocracy, which holds that one should be rewarded for their efforts and contributions. He said there’s a junction where Main Street America and Merit Street converge, and his goals and the enormous studio in which his new program, Dr. Phil Primetime, is filmed are based on that vision.

The new network features well-known hosts on its Merit Street programming, including Steve Harvey, Nancy Grace, and Chris Harrison.

McGraw expressed his deep worry about the current state of affairs in the US. He is concerned that the American family, its values, and the whole idea of truth are under assault. He is hoping for more exposure than what daytime could provide regarding audience size and platform.

Late in February, McGraw published a new book titled We’ve Got Issues: How You Can Stand Strong for America’s Soul and Sanity. The book centers on a simple notion- returning to facts. He lists the oversaturation of cancel culture as one of the country’s most pressing problems.

Dr. Phil made this point in an interview with Jordan Peterson last month.

According to Dr. Phil, the state and federal governments recognized that the schools were a lifeline for those students, yet they shut them down nonetheless when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and threatened or chastised parents and doctors, among others, who disagreed.

He was very critical of the activities taken by the CDC and the Department of Education, claiming that these organizations ignored studies showing that kids were far less vulnerable to COVID-19.

Lockdowns, however, have far-reaching consequences, including adverse effects on children’s mental health and education in addition to societal and economic expenses, as shown in research.

He told ET that the book We’ve Got Issues perfectly describes our situation. People think woke and cancel culture has gone too far and are starting to push back. He believes Dr. Phil Primetime is airing at the perfect moment because folks are now prepared to apply common sense.

Woke

The Big Picture: Why Speaking Truth to Woke Extremism Matters to Everyone

Woke extremism, like many ideologies, holds subjective premises.

Someone aligned around the center will have a different understanding of socialism, for example, as opposed to a liberal or a Classical Liberal; likewise, what constitutes someone as far right depends upon how far left some one happens to be. Ultimately, like Einstein, it’s all about perspective.

That being said, people from from all walks of life tend to agree on woke extremism’s unwanted, unwarranted, and sometimes outright loony ideas designed to enforce a society where the rights of the individual go only so far as whatever group-box they can be placed within.

It’s an issue which is not one-sided, either. Woke extremism is not a part of the political spectrum, rather it is closer to the manner in which views are forced upon others. There are woke extremists on the left and the right, and both should be sternly rejected.

Wokeism at Work

Disney has made itself into a classic example. Throughout the early 2020s, the children’s entertainment corporation has focused heavily on identity politics, much to the frustration of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (whose state is home to Disney’s largest amusement park in North America).

Listing all the woke extremism at Disney would be an entire article itself. Nevertheless, the 2025 adaptation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves is a notable example. The removal of the latter part of the title is a prelude for the rest of the film, which features only one dwarf rather than the seven iconic personalities of yore.

It’s easy to see why this has been controversial. The removal of an integral part of an historic classic prompts the question, “why bother bringing the film back at all?” Despite all of its efforts to garner the favor of woke extremists the film has inevitably been deemed discriminatory since it has limited potential income for marginalized dwarf actors.

Jason “Wee Man” Acuña, who has dwarfism, addressed the controversy. “You’re replacing jobs that people could have as little people,” said the Jackass star. “It’s for dwarfs – why [is Disney] hiring ‘Snow White and the seven average people’?”

It’s not just Hollywood which is impacted by wokeism in the workplace. Major corporations are continually introducing politically correct language as part of company policy, forcing uncomfortable conversations about whether “guys” refers to all employees or just men as well as allowing men to share private spaces with women.

Beyond conversations at the water cooler, however, there are legitimate concerns over workplace safety, particularly among female employees. The issue has largely stemmed from gender-neutral toilet policies, where men and women are required to share a restroom as companies try to conform to the woke ideology. Feminists on all sides of the political spectrum have expressed concern while sharing their objections to transitioning males to use the female toilets where separate restrooms remain in place.

The Extremist Mindset

One of the most petulant issues with woke extremism is that it will not cease to attack you wherever you are. In everyday life woke culture seeks to suppress the rights of individuals. As mentioned earlier, this impacts conservatives as much as liberals.

It’s fair to argue that woke extremism is a mindset, as opposed to an ideology, to enforce one’s views upon others irregardless of means or circumstance. By this definition it is understandable how liberals feel they have also been subjected to woke extremism.

Examples can be found everywhere. For insistence, how certain words should not be used in the workplace conservative wokeism is just as ludicrous. In April 2023, Governor of Oklahoma Kevin Stitt vetoed a bill to fund the state’s most-watched public service broadcaster which allegedly sought to “indoctrinate kids” by including lesbian characters in certain TV shows.

“Some of the stuff that they’re showing just overly sexualizes our kids,” said Gov. Stitt, referencing episodes of ‘Clifford the Big Red Dog’ and ‘Work it Out Wombats!’.

The Importance of Respectful Debate

A strong counter measure to any attempt to restrict free speech is through promoting respectful debate and constructive dialogue. After all, differing views are vital to a healthy democracy. Cancelling those that aren’t the same, on the contrary, is a totalitarian measure.

Respectful debate encourages more people to share their views, thus allowing us to have a deeper understanding of the world around us. If the political auditorium is a cesspit of hate, fewer are likely to become engaged leading to polarization and societal strife.

Likewise, constructive dialogue can be productive in finding common ground. It allows people of different viewpoints to discuss their differences, but also their similarities thereby humanizing instead of “otherizing.” Along with respectful debate, constructive dialogue helps develop a better understanding of different issues facing society.

Of course, the public image of a corporation can reflect its internal thinking. Multinational giant Unilever is a good example of the workplace war on woke, no matter the political ideology.

For corporations it’s hard to conduct business without political implications (the criticism of companies which have not withdrawn from Russia since it’s invasion of Ukraine is an example of that). Woke extremism, however, can be targeted no matter the political stance, with Unilever threatening to pull its services from online platforms Facebook and Google if they did not remove content which “create[s] division in society and promote anger and hate.” The perspective of this action being either good or bad is of course only determined based upon the watcher’s underlying precepts of the world.

Educational Matters

But woke culture doesn’t just stop in Hollywood, at the workplace, or in everyday life. Terrifyingly deciding that it is much easier to target the malleable minds of the youth to achieve its ends.

In one instance a Republicans’ chapter at Northwestern University was defunded using emergency legislation after inviting conservative author James Lindsay to deliver a speech. In another, Californian parents faced the prospect of jail time for disrupting school board meetings until Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom vetoed a bill introduced by his own party.

Woke extremism in education is deeply concerning. Schools and universities are fundamental in educating young people who may not have an alternative perception of the world around them. If they become indoctrinated by woke culture, they by definition do not question its underlying presuppositions.

Instead, it’s fair to argue that children should be taught different perspectives on difficult matters. Slavery, for example, is no exception. One would hope in the 21st century that views on slavery are unanimously against it, but it’s important to understand why there were conflicting views in the mid-1800s. If society does not learn about different perspectives, it is bound to repeat the mistakes of the past.

Once young people leave education, they are confronted by the world of work. Larger corporations yield larger paychecks, but they are also subjected to greater cultural pressures. The subsequent effects of mass boycotts tell the tale of what can happen when woke extremism seeks to divide.

The same principles for encouraging respectful debate in one’s political circles apply within their professional network. One of woke extremism’s biggest enemies is collaboration and debate. Through promoting a healthy work environment people from a whole host of backgrounds and upbringings can contribute to an extremely well-run corporation.

Part of the major growth in large-scale corporations, as well as the rise of woke extremism, has been as a result of technological advancement. The easiness of sharing information has been engulfed by the media, which has transitioned from daily news to on-the-minute updates throughout the 21st century.

The Mindset and the Media

Surprisingly, despite its changing methods of delivery, the tenant that drive media prosperity have largely remained the same. The people look at you, the more money you can charge advertisers. For them it has always been about the bottom line, and maybe a little bit about journalistic integrity. News sells particularly well the more it enrages sensible people.

Woke extremism’s intent on controversy plays right into the media’s hands. When news of a woke policy becomes public, scores flock to media outlets to vent or otherwise “engage” with it. If people are engaging with your story, it means it has added to your bottom line. Naturally, this creates division within communities effectively polarizing moderates. Fortunately for the United States, we have the First Amendment so differing outlets can present different viewpoints. The best media outlets are the ones who present both sides of the debate equally and fairly.

Your Importance to the World

Ultimately, we often forget the bigger picture in life. We’re all living our lives on a planet that is billions of years old. It’s up to each individual in our society to change the world for a better place.

If you’re reading this article, it’s likely you live in a place where freedom of speech is permitted. Woke extremism, as part of its assault on individualism, is seeking to change that. It’s not an issue for the left or the right – it’s an issue for everyone.

It is our duty as a society to protect the very freedoms we often take for granted. For that, we must battle woke extremism, and shine a light on its devious ways. That can only be achieved through respectful, constructive dialogue to create a welcoming discussion sphere which everyone wants to be a part of.

There’s an old saying: “If you don’t stand up for your beliefs, who else will?”

It’s a wise phrase to live by. Be yourself, and share your opinions. The more people we have contributing to civic debate, the more we can develop a greater understanding of the world. It can, and most certainly will be challenging, but it’s vital we all contribute. The archenemy of the woke ideology is individualism, and by portraying our own points of view, we can defeat it once and for all.

Media

Media Machines and Woke Extremism Bias: Navigating Information in the Age of Tyranny by the Minority

Woke extremist ideology makes the blood of many boil.

All too often there are news stories out of the mainstream media of the latest woke measure at a school in Michigan, a retailer in New Jersey, or a movie studio in Orlando. All receive proper criticism but the woke ideology seems to always achieve its goal: publicity.

When six corporations control 90% of the media in America, it’s hard for dissenting voices to be heard. Logic and reason simply doesn’t get bought from the mainstream media; woke extremism, however, flies off the proverbial shelves. A common misconception is that media outlets promote what they want you to know. In reality, the mainstream media promotes stories which it believes will “sell”, even if they do not agree with the content. If readers or viewers are engaging with a story through appraise or outrage, then it’s a success.

Publicity Rules

This suits the desperation of woke extremists to constantly remain relevant. They are dedicated adherents to the concept of “no such thing as bad publicity”; quite simply, they do not care what the response to their extremism is, they just want it to be the center of attention.

Of course, the responses vary from tentative praise to fierce criticism. However, when woke ideologies continually make headlines, journalists and broadcasters often spend more time focusing on attacking woke issues rather than promoting the interests of the vast majority of people.

The very nature of news media is partly responsible for this. In part because of the word “news” itself – if the same old things are happening, it cannot be considered “news.” Hence, woke extremists – so desperate to change anything and everything wherever it is possible – regularly feature within the mainstream media.

That is a very basic explanation, and popular issues stretch far beyond maintaining America as we know – or knew – it. Sadly, many voices are only called upon only to rebuff woke ideologies, leaving them little time to devote to issues which many are interested in.

Alternative Media

Fortunately, technological advancements now mean it’s easier than ever before for all viewpoints to be shared on a mass scale. Events since the turn of the decade have promoted a greater interest in popular ideas such as personal responsibility, objective reality, logic, and reason that offer an alternative to those who want to keep up to date on the news which interests them.

Two recent success stories suggest there is growing demand for current news reporting. In the United Kingdom, the launch of GB News in 2021 has offered an alternative to the centrist broadcast media landscape. Likewise, following his dismissal from Fox News and CNN, Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon have launched their own media companies, one doing traditional news and the other becoming the first western journalist to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin since his country’s invasion of Ukraine two years ago.

Perhaps the secret to success for new media is content over policy. Carlson was Fox’s top broadcaster until his dismissal, and his compelling interviews have scored over hundreds of millions of views on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). GB News has drafted in politicians such as Brexit advocate Nigel Farage and former Prime Minister Boris Johnson to speak on important topics. Don Lemon has also pursued content that he now gets to curate himself instead of being beholden to a network’s agenda.

Ironically, the woke attack weapon of cancel culture is also it’s Achilles heal. Woke activists long to cancel anyone who attacks their ideology, and most broadcasters are no exception. The publicity from its own antics has turned people away from their ideology and had them return their focus on the foundations of their own existence, thus bringing popular viewpoints back into the spotlight. And that is some good news.

Left-wing extremism

Unpacking Woke Extremism and Understanding its Origins

English, like any other actively used language, is always evolving. Words which were once used regularly are constantly being relegated to history books, and this cycle shall continue as long societies evolve. The term “woke” is no exception. Its origins are rooted in African-American Vernacular English, meaning to stay “alert to racial prejudice and discrimination”. It came into prominence in the 1930s, when millions of people were subject to persecution and violence simply because of the color of their skin, but was first used by Jamaican social activist Marcus Garvey in 1923.

One hundred years on and the term has morphed into something which practically contradicts its original meaning. In the 21st century, “woke” has been adopted by extremist groups intent on enforcing their beliefs on others by any means necessary. Extremist views typically found in the margins of society, given that they are “extreme” and not “moderate,” are often yelled loudly and proudly by the smallest of groups. While this is not inherently a bad thing, Martin Luther King and his contemporaries being a prime example, it is of utmost importance to not allow falsehoods to be spread without resistance given by the truth. As the saying goes, “the truth shall set you free.”

One of the major issues with extremism that humanity has seen before, woke extremism being no different, is its determination to snuff out the free exchange of ideas. The woke movement attempts to “cancel” anything which it sees as a threat to its existence, forcing those who disagree, and even those who are amiably questioning their dogma, into silence.

Which leaves no wonder as to why the woke target political figures and other detractors with a large audience. When one’s career is largely built on political debate and public commentary, it’s easy to see why a detractor would be heavily targeted to be “canceled.” Especially those whose job is to seek truth on current topics in the public square, including woke ideology.

Of one of the many reoccurring habits of extremists in modern human societies is the inexplicable predilection to undertake campaigns of force in order to silence or “convince” others. Take for example the famed author of the Harry Potter series of books, J.K. Rowling. For years, Rowling has been attacked for her advocacy of women’s rights for what woke extremists see as a threat to their idea of transgender rights. So angered by her staunch belief that human females deserve their own spaces that some firms are so frightened of woke extremists that journalists have been blocked from asking questions about her at promotional events for the franchise she created.

When engaged in public discourse, instead of arguing for the point they want to convince others of, woke extremists seek blind acceptance from others by any means necessary. By doing this they create a very hostile environment which, for many, is deeply unsettling and runs contrary to peaceful behavior.

Woke extremists should by no means be barred from sharing their views, quite the contrary. They should be allowed and have been allowed to share their thoughts freely. However, their hostile behavior must not be tolerated. As was learned from Europe in the 1900’s, to tolerate those who are intolerable leads only to calamity. Woke extremism must be rigorously and intellectually challenged lest the we share the same fate as those unwilling to fight extremism who came before.

Through respectfully and constantly rebuffing the twisted words of the disturbed, those who are not woke can hopefully show extremists that while they are entitled to have their views, it is not permissible to become violent when others do not share the same ideological dogma. As long as truth prevails, we shall be free.

Woke Education

Woke Extremism in Education: Navigating the Challenges for Centrist Families

Woke ideology has crept its way from the political discourse to the classroom throughout the 21st century.

Its presence is changing the way our children think, believe, and what they know. Rather than teaching on the wrongs of discrimination, schools across the world have fallen foul of submitting to woke extremism.

This, tragically, has had real-life consequences, such as the case of Richard Bilkszto. A passionate teacher who had served the Toronto District School Board for more than 24 years was “beloved by thousands of students whose lives he uplifted” until he fell afoul of his employer in two Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) sessions in 2021.

The former principal was berated for his defense that Canada was a less racist place than the United States, with the presenter at the sessions making his comments as examples of white supremacy. Despite his career-long efforts to combat discrimination, Bilkszto was alienated by his former colleagues which forced him into sick leave.

Two years later, Bilkszto took his own life.

The Fraser Institute said his death was the result “when school boards place an inappropriate emphasis on race and gender identity and make it their mission to ensure everyone thinks the same way”. Bilkszto did not discriminate with his comments, but was treated as the enemy for providing an alternative point of view – the fundamental basis of woke extremism.

The year 2023 saw multiple instances of the insanity of cancel culture. In May, Northwestern University’s Associated Student Government used emergency legislation to defund the campus’ Republicans chapter following a speech by prominent author James Lindsay. In California, Democrats sought to introduce a bill which would have seen parents charged, fined, and possibly jailed for causing “substantial disorder” at school board meetings.

This mentality throughout North America impacts education for children. Even in their adolescent ages, children hold views on how the world should be run. When woke extremism infects the classroom, children are ostracized for holding an alternative point of view – an ironic contradiction of the woke extremist ‘commitment’ to diversity and inclusion.

For conservative parents, woke extremism in education can be a daunting battle. Although cancel culture is often reserved for celebrities, parents can feel as if their personal or professional reputation is at risk, forcing them into silence.

Given the woke ideology to enforce its views on those it does not directly contact, parents should avoid challenging policies in other schools. Instead, conservative mothers and fathers can influence policy at their local school board meetings, challenging and questioning woke extremism when it tries to enter the curriculum.

This can also apply to students. Through critical thinking, conservative students can raise questions about certain teachings by exploring alternative ideas to those presented in the classroom. Albeit daunting, critical thinking and outspokenness is a life skill which will benefit children, teenagers, and young adults in their future careers.

Woke extremism is a challenge for parents and students alike. However, the Constitution protects free speech, and one should never feel afraid to use the rights which protect them.

Cancel Culture

Woke Cancel Culture: Protecting Free Speech and Sanity

The visit of any head of government is an honorific moment for any local independent business.

In February 2024, a pastry shop in Cornwall, England, received a visit from Conservative Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. Given the rarity of such an event, Philps of Hayle proudly uploaded the photo to its Instagram account.

The response was staggering.

A few opted to make light of the situation, with one commenter saying that the PM’s taste in pasties was “all he’s got going for him.” The light-hearted comment was in a minority, however, with scores of anti-conservatives vowing to never purchase from Philps again. Within minutes, the post restricted comments before it was deleted entirely, with the shop apologizing for the upload and denying any political affiliation to the Conservative Party.

“We have decided to remove our post regarding the surprise visit from the Prime Minister today,” the shop posted. “It was with no intent to cause offence and was merely recognition of the Prime Minister popping by for a pasty. We apologize to anyone who feels disappointed or offended, certainly no political affiliations were intended.”

Conservatives and Social Media

The absurdity of the situation is an everyday reality for conservatives across the world, heightened by the easy access of social media. Before the internet, such events led to businesses receiving publicity in the local media, and objections to visits by government officials could only be communicated by contacting the store directly.

However, the rate of technological advancements means it is now possible to comment on a story regarding a place someone may have never visited. More than five billion people are now on social media, each of whom could theoretically vehemently spout vile towards a pastry shop in a small corner of England – even if they live thousands of miles away from it – if they so wished.

For conservatives – whether they’re employees or employers – it can be comforting to network with those who possess similar viewpoints should there be concern over cancel culture. This provides a safety net of support should woke ideologists attempt to “cancel” you or your business for your moderately conservative views.

It is also advisable for conservatives to maintain professional social media accounts separate to their personal views. While it may seem contradictory to business and self-marketing, it can prevent a woke extremist rampage should you hold an opinion contradictory to the woke ideology.

The Importance Of Respectful Debate

Of course, that’s not to say one should fear expressing their opinions on social media. A society where different views are not tolerated resembles the horrific dictatorships not seen in the western world since the 1940s, and so expressing beliefs is vital to a healthy democracy

Perhaps the pastry store in Cornwall could have refrained from deleting their post, and instead encouraged commenters to disagree respectfully. Either way, promoting constructive, engaging debate is important, particularly when naysayers resort to personal insults. Taking the higher ground, surprisingly, is an effective argument in any debate where one’s opponents have a viral meltdown.

Nevertheless, social media is a great tool for communication but be sure to remain vigilant in your online presence, no matter your viewpoint. Generally, if you wouldn’t say it to someone’s face, it’s best not to say it at all.

How Corporate Wokeness Affects Professionals

Corporate Wokeness: How It Affects Conservative Professionals

It’s not unreasonable to suggest that, unless you work in politics, views on how the world should be run should be left outside the office.

The stress and challenges of corporate work are difficult enough without enforced ideologies dictating company policy. Nevertheless, professionals from all walks of life are often subject to unwanted woke initiatives, which can have ramifications for their lives outside of the workplace.

Increasingly in the 21st century, there has been a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion policies with regards to hiring. This can be considered positive discrimination, particularly where corporations promote diversity quotas – a challenge for many corporate professionals looking to climb the ladder.

Often, the woke agenda extends beyond the closed-doors of the corporation into the public image. The infamous Bud Light-Dylan Mulvaney marketing fiasco is a notable example; when Bud Light’s target audience revolted against the brewer’s ad campaign, sales of Bud Light dropped by as much as 17%. Unfortunately, while this woke marketing scheme meant Americans saw cheaper prices for watery beer, it also cost Bud Light employees their jobs, even though many were not involved in the bizarre decision.

Advice for Professionals

Of course, the direction of a company is down to the company itself, so it’s no surprise that professionals may avoid corporations which seek to profit from and radically promote the woke agenda. However, when woke ideas are discussed in a corporate setting, those who use reason should engage in a constructive, meaningful dialogue to seek common ground with their colleagues of extreme persuasions. While disagreements can be uncomfortable at times, they can also help build open and respectful relationships even where there are vastly different perspectives.

Leading by example through professionalism, as well as choosing one’s battles, can also convince colleagues away from woke extremism. While some views and ideas may seem absurd, it’s important not to submit to the woke ideology of forcing one’s opinions down the throats of others, and ensure colleagues are treated with appropriate respect.

Perhaps a more tangible solution for corporations and their employees is to avoid unnecessary ideological stances altogether. As much as an employee may feel uncomfortable in a woke corporation, the opposite may also be true. Avoiding unnecessary ideological stances fosters a healthier working environment, where professionals of all viewpoints can collectively work together regarding the direction of the company.

There are a range of methods corporations can utilize to assist with conflicting points of view. An emphasis on inclusivity for all thought – rather than certain groups – helps to create a culture of respect where no employee feels uncomfortable about their own beliefs.

Furthermore, corporations should focus on merit-based hiring and advancement. Quotas and positive discrimination should never be prioritized over the qualifications and accomplishments of new and existing employees if friction is to be avoided within the company.

Ultimately, an inclusive workplace where employees are rewarded for hard work while their views are respected sees benefits to both corporate professionals and corporations. Ideological stances need not apply, and can actually hinder the fostering of an environment where individuals feel valued, respected, and included, regardless of their beliefs or backgrounds.

Big Cities, Crime Denial

Left-Wing Journo Who Bragged London Is Safe Mugged In Street

A controversial progressive activist and former radio presenter from the United Kingdom was mugged in London this week, following years of claims by the man that the city is safe.

Matthew Stadlen, a political commentator who made a name for himself through his relentless criticism of the Conservative government, announced on Twitter on March 14 that a thief had stolen his cell phone from his hand while riding a moped.

“Had my phone snatched out of my hand from behind by a man on a motorbike this afternoon. I had the dogs on their leads in one hand and was typing stuff into the phone with the other while stood on the edge of the pavement. If you need me, please send a DM or email,” Stadlen wrote.

Stadlen has a long history of denying London’s rising crime problem.

Only in February, 2024, Stadlen told a London regular that the city, in his experience, is “pretty generally pretty great.”

The exchange followed a sneering post from Stadlen on February 26, mocking those who feel uncomfortable in a city increasingly populated by illegal aliens, plagued by robberies and, and enduring a wave of violent crime – much like the great liberal-run cities of the United States.

“Please be careful if you come to London. You might encounter human beings of different religions, ethnicities and races. Take it slowly. Just at your own pace,” Stadlen wrote.

Most shockingly, though, is how Stadlen once insisted that he would always be safe in London – and that he would never get mugged.

“I live in London. I’ve never been mugged and never will be. I’m very much appreciated,” Stadlen once said.

And, in response to an X user who pointed it out, Stadlen doubled down and insisted he actually wasn’t mugged.

“More of a robbery than a mugging. The guy was on a motorbike, came from behind and nicked it out of my hand. But I’m annoyed with myself for not paying attention,” Stadlen said.

Sure, that definitely isn’t the same thing.
