Comer Puts Bill and Hillary on Notice: Arrests on the Table Over Epstein Testimony

House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer said the panel still expects testimony from Bill and Hillary Clinton after their previously scheduled depositions in the Jeffrey Epstein investigation were postponed in October.

The remarks came during an interview on the “Just The News, No Noise” television program, where Comer outlined the status of outstanding subpoenas and ongoing efforts to secure testimony.

The committee announced in August that it would subpoena multiple individuals connected to the Epstein matter.

Hillary Clinton was initially scheduled to appear on October 9, followed by Bill Clinton on October 14.

Both dates passed without testimony, with the committee stating at the time that it was working to coordinate schedules. No new dates have been announced.

“We expect to hear from Bill and Hillary Clinton,” Comer said during the interview. He noted that President Donald Trump has answered questions publicly for years regarding Epstein and said the committee has examined figures from both parties.

“We’ve subpoenaed Republicans and Democrats,” he said.

Comer said the Clintons remain the only individuals in the inquiry who have not responded to questions outside of friendly media environments.

“They’re the one group in this investigation that’s never had to answer questions in front of a credible reporter, and they’ve never certainly answered questions from attorneys or members of Congress,” he said.

Comer added that failure to comply with subpoenas could result in consequences similar to those faced by Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro, who were prosecuted after declining to appear before Congress when Democrats controlled the House.

“So we expect the Clintons to come in, or I expect the Clintons to be met with the same fate that Bannon and Navarro were met with when the Democrats were in control,” he said.

The potential questioning would cover a range of issues raised in public reporting about the former president’s and former secretary of state’s interactions with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Public allegations regarding Bill Clinton have included references to flights on Epstein’s plane, Epstein’s entries in personal records, visits to locations associated with Epstein, and contact with Maxwell.

The committee has also noted questions surrounding Epstein’s visits to the White House and social interactions involving the Clintons and Maxwell.

The inquiry has not made determinations on these matters but has identified them as areas for testimony.

Comer also said the committee will subpoena J.P. Morgan and Deutsche Bank for Epstein’s financial records.

Both institutions previously appeared in legal filings related to Epstein’s accounts and transactions.

The committee is seeking additional documentation to examine the financial networks surrounding Epstein.

In addition, Comer said the committee will request records from U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General Gordon Rhea.

Epstein maintained property in the Virgin Islands, and prior investigations have focused on the territory’s handling of Epstein-related matters.

The committee has indicated that this portion of the inquiry may produce substantial new material related to Epstein’s operations and contacts.

Comer stated that the committee intends to continue pursuing all outstanding records and testimony.

Trump Fires Back at ABC Reporter During High-Profile Meeting With Saudi Crown Prince

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud met with President Donald Trump at the White House on Tuesday, where the president said the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia plans to invest $1 trillion in the United States.

The meeting included discussions on U.S.–Saudi relations, defense cooperation, and regional security.

During the Oval Office portion of the visit, Trump addressed questions from reporters about the 2018 killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

“A lot of people didn’t like” Khashoggi, Trump said when asked about the matter.

The Biden-Harris administration released a report in 2021 stating that the crown prince approved an operation to “capture or kill” Khashoggi.

Saudi officials rejected the report, calling it a “negative, false and unacceptable assessment.”

MBS responded to questions during the meeting.

“About the journalist, it’s really painful to hear anyone losing his life for no real purpose or not in a legal way,” he said.

“And it’s been painful for us in Saudi Arabia. We did all the right steps of investigation, et cetera, in Saudi Arabia. And we’ve improved our system to be sure that nothing happened like that.”

ABC News correspondent Mary Bruce questioned Trump about whether his family’s business ties to Saudi Arabia constituted a conflict of interest.

The president criticized the network.

“People are wise to your hoax,” Trump said.

“Your crappy company is one of the perpetrators. And I’ll tell you something, I think the license should be taken away from ABC because your news is so fake and is so wrong. And we have a great commissioner, a chairman, who should look at that.”

Trump added that he no longer manages the Trump Organization and does not participate in overseas business decisions.

At a State Dinner later that evening, Trump announced that Saudi Arabia has been formally designated a major non-NATO ally.

The president also said the kingdom will purchase F-35 fighter jets as part of ongoing defense cooperation between the two countries.

Elon Musk was among the guests observed at the dinner.

During the visit, Trump showed the crown prince the Biden autopen portrait displayed on the Presidential Wall of Fame.

The White House said the $1 trillion Saudi commitment reflects long-term investment planning between the two countries.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Reports Violent Threats, Says Trump Triggered Them

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia said Monday that she has received violent threats in recent days and claimed they are connected to criticism from President Donald Trump and others over her position on releasing the Epstein files.

The vote on releasing the documents is scheduled for Tuesday, as reported by the Blaze.

Greene said the increase in threats coincided with what she described as escalating rhetoric directed at her.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., wears a Trump hat (R-Ga.) at President Donald Trump’s address to joint session of Congress.

“President Trump’s unwarranted and vicious attacks against me were a dog whistle to dangerous radicals that could lead to serious attacks on me and my family,” she wrote on social media.

Greene stated that she has been the target of previous death threats and swatting incidents from the left but said the current threats appear to be coming from individuals on the right.

“Now that President Trump has called me a traitor, which is absolutely untrue and horrific. Mark Levin has been calling me a traitor. And so have other prominent likely paid social medial activists,” she wrote.

“This puts blood in the water and creates a feeding frenzy. And it could ultimately lead to a harmful or even deadly outcome.”

She added that the timing of the threats “just happens to be days before we take the vote on releasing the Epstein files.” Greene wrote, “I love America and the American people, and I swore an oath to uphold the constitution and always do so. I am not a traitor.”

Greene said her construction company’s office building had received a pipe bomb threat. A spokesperson for the Rome Police Department confirmed to Blaze News that they had received threat reports related to Greene.

“While the threats directed at Congresswoman Greene’s business occurred in a different jurisdiction in Georgia, we can confirm that Rome Police were notified of an unordered pizza delivery, as well as received two email threats referencing her family, at an address within our jurisdiction,” the statement read.

Greene argued that Trump’s statements intensified the situation.

“When the President of the United States irresponsibly calls a Member of Congress of his own party, traitor, he is signaling what must be done to a traitor,” she wrote.

She also posted a clip explaining how hoax pizza deliveries are used to intimidate people by signaling that their address is known.

“The toxic and dangerous rhetoric in politics must end, and we need healing in this country for all Americans,” Greene concluded.

Earlier Monday, Trump posted online that he supported Republicans voting to release the Epstein files.

The Rome Police Department said it would continue following its standard investigative process. “As always, we take any threat seriously and follow established investigative procedures, regardless of political context,” the statement continued.

“The Rome Police Department remains committed to thoroughly investigating all credible threats and ensuring the safety of every member of our community without regard to political affiliation or public profile.”

Greene has also recently been one of the few Republicans to describe Israel’s military operations in the Gaza Strip as a “genocide” and has argued against U.S. involvement in the Middle East conflict.

Dr. Oz Reports Massive Obamacare Fraud, Cites COVID-Era Policy Failures

Dr. Mehmet Oz, administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, said Monday that the Affordable Care Act is experiencing widespread fraud, claiming that millions of individuals receiving benefits should not be enrolled in the system. Oz made the remarks during an interview on Newsmax’s “The Record With Greta Van Susteren,” as reported by Newsmax.

“We believe there are over 4 million people, alleged people, getting benefits on the Obamacare system who do not exist or weren’t supposed to get the benefits,” Oz said.

“That’s a lot of money. Full fare, we’re paying for insurance for 4 million people who don’t even know they have insurance.”

Oz noted that his estimate significantly exceeds figures from a report issued in mid-July under the Trump administration.

That analysis found “2.8 million Americans either enrolled in Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program in multiple states or simultaneously enrolled in both Medicaid/CHIP and a subsidized Affordable Care Act exchange plan.”

Oz attributed the current level of fraud to policy decisions made during the pandemic.

“When the original ACA was created, there were problems with it, which, for good or for bad, they were sort of muddling through until COVID,” he said.

“And when COVID hit, the Democrats addressed those problems by throwing money at the issue, which they only were willing to do until now, because they knew what they were doing didn’t make sense.”

According to Oz, those decisions created opportunities for abuse. “Because of these ill-designed moves, it has led to immense fraud in the system,” he said.

Oz also addressed broader concerns about healthcare costs. “Look at healthcare costs in general. They’re increasing 8 to 9% this year. That’s a lot more than inflation. The GDP can’t keep up with that,” he said.

He said new systems and procedures under review at CMS are intended to address both fraud and long-term cost pressures.

“We’re going to become a large healthcare system with a small country attached. So let’s get ahead of this,” Oz said.

He added, “We do have big ideas there, but it’s a mix. You have to reduce the actual cost of care while you come up with better ways of paying for the care that you’re offering.”

President Donald Trump has raised related concerns, proposing a change to how federal healthcare funding is used.

During the federal government shutdown, he suggested redirecting federal dollars currently paid to insurance companies under the Affordable Care Act directly to individuals.

“I am recommending to Senate Republicans that the Hundreds of Billions of Dollars currently being sent to money sucking Insurance Companies in order to save the bad Healthcare provided by ObamaCare, BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE SO THAT THEY CAN PURCHASE THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER HEALTHCARE, and have money left over,” Trump wrote in a social media post.

Experts Urge Parents to Ask Babies for ‘Consent’ Before Diaper Changes

A group of early childhood development researchers in Australia is advising parents to begin asking infants for “consent” before changing their diapers, according to a November 2025 guide released by Deakin University, as reported by The New York Post.

The recommendations outline a new approach to diaper-changing that encourages parents to communicate with their babies about the process, even though infants cannot yet speak.

“At the start of a nappy change, ensure your child knows what is happening,” the researchers wrote.

“Get down to their level and say, ‘You need a nappy change,’ and then pause so they can take this in.”

The guidance suggests that parents should take additional steps once notifying a baby of the diaper change.

“Then you can say, ‘Do you want to walk [or] crawl with me to the [changing] table, or would you like me to carry you?’” the report states.

Researchers recommend observing a child’s “facial expressions and body language to check if they understand what is happening.”

“This can be a time to help children learn about consent and how their bodies work,” the authors wrote. They did not respond to a request for comment from The Post.

The suggestions fall under what is commonly referred to as “gentle parenting,” a child-rearing method that emphasizes empathy, communication, and connection over traditional forms of discipline.

The approach is often associated with millennial and Gen Z parents and has generated significant debate online.

The Deakin University guide also encourages involving infants directly in the diaper-changing process. Parents are advised to ask questions such as, “Can you please lift up your bottom so I can slide your nappy out?”

Researchers said that “these habits plant the seed of the idea that a child has the right to say what happens to their body.”

Yamalis Diaz, a clinical child psychologist with NYU Langone Health, told The Post that involving babies verbally during diaper changes can help prepare them for future conversations about bodily autonomy.

“This is more about integrating the teaching of consent into the [adult’s] parenting practices early on,” Diaz said. “It’s aimed at increasing the parents’ awareness of all the ways that the need for consent occurs in a child’s life.”

Diaz added that beginning these discussions early helps establish comfort with boundary-setting. “Parents and kids will be more comfortable talking about and establishing boundaries,” she said.

Lesley Koeppel, a psychotherapist based in New York City, agreed that parents can set the foundation for autonomy by narrating their actions.

“Babies cannot verbally agree or disagree, but parents can still narrate what they are doing,” she said. “This builds a foundation for bodily autonomy long before a child has language.”

Koeppel said the practice is “symbolic rather than literal,” adding that its message is intended to communicate, “You matter. Your body matters. I will always tell you what I am doing.”

The researchers urged parents not to distract infants with toys or songs during diaper changes.

“It’s important children notice when someone is touching their most intimate parts,” they wrote, noting that “even in early infancy, children can respond to consistent verbal cues.”

The guidance also recommends using anatomically correct terms during diaper changes and bath time, including “vulva,” “penis,” and “anus.”

“Parents may feel uncomfortable doing this and think more childish names should be used,” the researchers said. “But this keeps children safe, as it means they can then inform trusted adults about their experiences with all the people who care for them.”

The authors acknowledged that the suggested practices may feel overwhelming. “The habits we outline above may also seem to add more work to the already demanding parental load,” they wrote.

“So try and do them as often as possible and be kind to yourself if every nappy change isn’t a perfect moment of connection. You are supporting a small child after all.”

Eric Adams Warns Jewish New Yorkers to ‘Prepare Themselves’ for Mamdani Administration Shift

Outgoing New York City Mayor Eric Adams issued a stark warning during a visit to Israel, telling attendees at an event in Tel Aviv that Jewish New Yorkers should be concerned for their safety once Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani takes office on January 1, as reported by Breitbart.

Adams, who arrived in Israel on Friday for his final international trip as mayor, met with business and political leaders and visited locations tied to the October 7, 2023, Hamas massacre.

The Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) honored him Sunday for his public support of Israel and his efforts to confront rising antisemitism.

Asked about Jewish safety under the incoming administration, Adams responded directly. “We need to be honest about the moment and cannot sugarcoat it,” he said.

“The New York Jewish community must prepare themselves. This is a period where you need to be conscious about the level of global hostility towards the Jewish community. If I were a Jewish New Yorker, I would be concerned about my children.”

Pressed further, Adams repeated the warning. “Everything is not fine. If you say everything is fine, you are setting yourself up for failure.”

Adams described a cultural shift in which antisemitism has become socially acceptable. He recounted an incident involving a teenager in Brownsville.

“It is now cool and hip to be antisemitic,” he said. The teen, he recalled, called him a Zionist and demanded Israel’s destruction despite not knowing where the country was located on a map.

“They hijacked our young people,” Adams said. “Their plan was well executed. Now we need a professional plan to fight back.”

He pointed to similar trends on college campuses, in public schools, and on social media.

Adams referenced protesters “walking around the country with signs saying ‘Queers for Palestine,’” calling it “queer when the only place you can walk around in the Middle East being queer is Israel. They’ve hijacked the conversation.”

Adams argued that the anti-Israel movement is fundamentally ideological, not territorial. “The ‘Free Palestine Movement’ was never about land,” he said. “It was, and is, about the destruction and eradication of Jewish people.”

He added, “If this were happening to the African-American community, you would not be silent. So why are others silent now?”

The outgoing mayor criticized what he described as a messaging failure by Israel’s supporters following the October 7 attacks, saying opponents had filled the public sphere with emotionally charged images from Gaza.

Adams said that figures he referred to as “the Zohrans of the world” helped shape that narrative.

Adams has previously called Mamdani’s victory “abnormal” and evidence that “people are comfortable with being antisemitic.” Mamdani faced scrutiny during the campaign for refusing to denounce the slogan “globalize the intifada” as antisemitic until after sustained criticism.

He has rejected Israel’s legitimacy as a Jewish state, supported the BDS movement since 2014, and promised not to visit Israel as mayor. He also pledged to “exhaust every legal option” to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he enters New York City.

Concerns about Mamdani’s agenda have been raised by political figures across the spectrum. Democratic strategist Hank Sheinkopf warned that Mamdani’s election marked “the end of Jewish New York as we know it,” predicting that residents who can leave will do so.

In an interview with Breitbart News, Mosab Hassan Yousef — “the Son of Hamas” — described Mamdani as a “Trojan horse” for a “Red-Green Alliance.” CAIR’s Ohio director called Mamdani’s victory a “referendum” on Palestinian “resistance.”

The New York Post recently reported that Jewish New Yorkers are increasingly seeking firearms for self-defense following Mamdani’s win.

The Anti-Defamation League has documented a 227% national increase in antisemitic incidents from 2021 to 2023, with nearly 1,000 incidents recorded in New York City in 2024 — the highest of any U.S. city since tracking began.

At the Tel Aviv event, CAM CEO Sacha Roytman Dratwa credited Adams for actions during his tenure, including adopting the IHRA definition of antisemitism, establishing the city’s first office devoted to combating antisemitism, creating a Jewish advisory council, and launching the New York City–Israel Economic Council.

In Jerusalem, Adams met with President Isaac Herzog and said he wanted Israel to know that 49% of New Yorkers “did not buy into the rhetoric of hatred towards Israel,” citing election results.

Adams also met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who recently said that if Mamdani represents New York’s future, “I think New York has a very dim future.”

Adams told the Tel Aviv audience that Jewish New Yorkers “must prepare themselves,” adding that pretending “everything is fine” under the incoming administration is “setting yourself up for failure.”

Wildlife Smugglers Caught With 81 Monkeys and Meth

Thai authorities arrested two men over the weekend who were found transporting 81 monkeys and an unspecified amount of methamphetamine near Thailand’s border with Cambodia, as reported by Fox News.

Officials say the men are believed to be part of an international wildlife trafficking network moving macaques out of the country.

The arrests occurred Friday in Sa Kaeo province, according to a statement from the 12th Ranger Forces Regiment. Thai rangers stopped the suspects’ vehicle and discovered the monkeys packed tightly into blue net bags.

Authorities said the men admitted to being involved in a smuggling ring that transports macaques from Thailand into Cambodia.

The rangers seized both the animals and the drugs found inside the vehicle. Officials did not immediately detail the condition of the monkeys or how long they had been confined in the bags.

Thailand is considered a key transit route for wildlife traffickers who transport endangered animals to markets in China and parts of Southeast Asia.

Smuggling has persisted despite regular crackdowns by authorities, who frequently report intercepting animals ranging from primates to protected reptiles.

The arrests come less than a year after another wildlife smuggling case involving primates in the country. In May 2025, a 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempting to smuggle two baby orangutans into Thailand.

According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the man was apprehended at a gas station where he was allegedly preparing to hand the orangutans over to a buyer.

Thai authorities continue to coordinate with regional and international agencies to track wildlife trafficking networks, which often span multiple countries and involve organized criminal groups.

Cambodia and Thailand, in particular, have become frequent transit points for the illegal primate trade due to porous borders and demand from buyers who seek animals for private ownership, breeding operations, or black-market sales.

Officials did not disclose whether investigators believe the latest arrests are connected to previous smuggling attempts or if the suspects face additional charges related to drug possession.

The 12th Ranger Forces Regiment confirmed that the men remain in custody as the investigation continues.

The monkeys recovered from the vehicle are expected to be transferred to wildlife authorities for medical evaluation and placement.

Thai officials regularly issue public warnings that trafficking endangered or protected species is a criminal offense under the country’s wildlife protection laws.

The arrests highlight ongoing efforts by Thailand to disrupt wildlife trafficking routes and investigate cross-border networks involved in both animal smuggling and narcotics distribution.

Activist Educators Protest ICE in NC Even as Violent Offenders Are Arrested Nearby

Leaders of the Asheville, North Carolina, affiliate of the National Education Association joined activists Monday in calling for the city to block United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement from using any municipal property.

The press conference followed the arrest of 81 illegal immigrants in Charlotte during the opening phase of ICE’s enforcement effort known as “Charlotte’s Web.”

The event, streamed by the Buncombe County Association of Educators, featured teachers’ union representatives, local pastors, and Asheville City Councilwoman Kim Roney, who is also a candidate for mayor.

Speakers urged Asheville officials to adopt a formal ban similar to the order Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson enacted.

“We appreciate the public statements that many of our local and state leaders have made in response to this recent deployment,” Asheville City Association of Educators President Carson Bridges said at the Land of Sky United Church of Christ, where a “Black Lives Matter” banner was displayed.

“But statements alone don’t keep children safe. Policies do, resolutions do, action does.”

Roney discussed the resolution she is urging the council to consider.

She accused ICE of “violating constitutional rights of residents” and referred to the agency’s operations as “gross federal overreach.”

Roney said, “Immigration enforcement is not a criminal matter, it’s a civil one. There are actions, more than statements, that local elected officials can do to keep our communities safe.”

The Rev. Claudia Jimenez, Minister of Faith Formation at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Asheville, addressed the press after Roney.

“We are not dangerous criminals,” she said.

“We are not violent. We are your neighbors… How many of you had immigrant siblings take care of your roofs after [Hurricane] Helene? How many of you have immigrant siblings whose businesses you support and that support you? How many of you have immigrant siblings that clean your clothes and serve the yummy food that Asheville is known for?”

A Department of Homeland Security release connected to the “Charlotte’s Web” operation reported that among those arrested were members of the MS-13 gang, designated as a foreign terrorist organization by President Donald Trump hours after taking office on Jan. 20.

Others arrested included illegal immigrants with convictions for assault, larceny, and DWI.

Federal authorities have documented multiple attacks on ICE personnel in recent months.

Agents have been fired upon during operations in both Illinois and California. DHS released a statement Tuesday highlighting an increase in ramming incidents targeting federal officers involved in immigration enforcement.

Two illegal aliens were killed during a Sept. 24 shooting at an ICE office in Dallas, where the gunman later took his own life.

Since July 4, there have been at least two other incidents in Texas in which shots were fired at ICE or Border Patrol facilities.

Ten people have been charged with attempted murder in connection with an ambush on an ICE detention center.

DHS reported in an Oct. 30 release that death threats against ICE agents have risen by 8,000%.

A Sept. 22 release from the agency noted a 1,000% year-over-year increase in assaults on its personnel.

New Documents Reveal CIA Met with Top COVID Dr for Years Before the Pandemic

Newly released emails show that the United States Intelligence Community, including the CIA and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, held regular meetings with Dr. Ralph Baric beginning in 2015.

Senator Rand Paul’s office spent years seeking the documents, which detail ongoing contact between federal intelligence agencies and one of the nation’s leading coronavirus researchers.

Baric, a researcher at the University of North Carolina, has faced accusations that he engineered the Covid-19 virus through work involving the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

He has not testified publicly about his role in coronavirus research or his collaboration with the lab in China.

The emails indicate that the CIA sought to discuss “Coronavirus evolution and possible natural human adaptation with Baric,” and that Baric participated in quarterly meetings with Intelligence Community personnel.

The message release adds to a chain of records and allegations examined in The Covid Response at Five Years involving federal intelligence agencies and the origins of the pandemic.

A condensed timeline based on the documents and other sources outlines a series of events cited by investigators, whistleblowers, and congressional committees:

2015: Intelligence officials met quarterly with Baric to discuss topics that included “possible human adaptation” linked to coronavirus evolution.

2019–2020: Journalist Seymour Hersh reported that the CIA maintained an asset inside the Wuhan Institute of Virology involved in “both offensive and defensive work” with pathogens.

According to Hersh, the asset informed the agency in early 2020 that a laboratory accident had infected a researcher.

March 18, 2020: The Department of Homeland Security replaced the Department of Health and Human Services as the lead federal agency responding to the Covid-19 outbreak, a shift examined in Debbie Lerman’s The Deep State Goes Viral.

Spring 2020: A whistleblower alleged that the CIA offered financial incentives to scientists to change their position on the origins of Covid-19.

According to the House Oversight Committee, “six of the seven members of the Team believed the intelligence and science were sufficient to make a low confidence assessment that COVID-19 originated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China.”

The Committee stated that those six members “were given a significant monetary incentive to change their position.”

2020: Another whistleblower alleged that Dr. Anthony Fauci held secret meetings at CIA headquarters “without a record of entry” to influence the agency’s Covid-19 origins inquiry.

The whistleblower told Congress, “He knew what was going on…He was covering his ass and he was trying to do it with the Intel community.”

2021: Defense Department scientists assembled evidence supporting the theory that Covid originated through a lab leak, but President Biden’s Director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines, barred them from presenting their findings or joining discussions on the virus’s origins.

2021: The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, part of the Department of Homeland Security, launched a program known as “switchboarding,” directing social media companies on what content to restrict or allow.

2022: The Department of Homeland Security announced the creation of a “Disinformation Governance Board.”

The initiative was discontinued after public criticism of its proposed leader, Nina Jankowicz.

The records and allegations outlined above have been cited by critics who argue that intelligence agencies exercised broad authority over public health policy, pandemic messaging, and research surrounding the origins of Covid-19.

The timeline also references concerns that intelligence officials worked closely with academic institutions and private organizations on pandemic-related planning exercises, including Event 201 and Crimson Contagion, years before the outbreak.

The documents raise questions about the Intelligence Community’s role in coronavirus research, pandemic response, and early assessments of a possible lab leak.

They also reference calls for testimony from Baric and intelligence officials about gain-of-function research, work conducted at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and actions taken in 2020 concerning the origin of the virus.

Supporters of further inquiry argue that congressional hearings, investigations, and sworn testimony are necessary to establish a full account of the involvement of federal agencies and research institutions in the events leading up to and following the Covid-19 outbreak.

Chicago Woman Set on Fire on Train By Felon with 49 Prior Arrests

A woman is in critical condition after being set on fire during an attack on a Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line train Monday night.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:26 p.m., according to information provided to CWB Chicago by a source familiar with the investigation.

Police initially stated that a 45-year-old male had a “verbal altercation” with the 27-year-old woman before the assault.

However, a source who spoke with CWB Chicago said the attack was unprovoked and random.

Officials reported that a person of interest was taken into custody but had not been charged as of the latest update.

The source told CWB Chicago that the woman was looking at her cell phone when the man approached and poured a liquid from a bottle onto her.

She attempted to run, but the man reportedly caught up to her and ignited the liquid, setting her on fire.

The source said the attacker was also set on fire during the incident.

The woman was transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.

CWB Chicago reported that the suspect had previously been charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm.

A judge denied a request to keep him in custody and instead ordered 24/7 electronic monitoring.

Three weeks later, another judge modified the conditions, allowing him to leave his home during daytime hours — which included the time the attack occurred.

According to the report, the individual had been arrested 22 times by the Chicago Police Department since 2016.

The arson incident would mark his 50th arrest, with some of his previous arrests involving other arson cases.

A source told CWB Chicago that no passengers on the train intervened after the woman was set on fire.
