Activist Educators Protest ICE in NC Even as Violent Offenders Are Arrested Nearby

Leaders of the Asheville, North Carolina, affiliate of the National Education Association joined activists Monday in calling for the city to block United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement from using any municipal property.

The press conference followed the arrest of 81 illegal immigrants in Charlotte during the opening phase of ICE’s enforcement effort known as “Charlotte’s Web.”

The event, streamed by the Buncombe County Association of Educators, featured teachers’ union representatives, local pastors, and Asheville City Councilwoman Kim Roney, who is also a candidate for mayor.

Speakers urged Asheville officials to adopt a formal ban similar to the order Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson enacted.

“We appreciate the public statements that many of our local and state leaders have made in response to this recent deployment,” Asheville City Association of Educators President Carson Bridges said at the Land of Sky United Church of Christ, where a “Black Lives Matter” banner was displayed.

“But statements alone don’t keep children safe. Policies do, resolutions do, action does.”

Roney discussed the resolution she is urging the council to consider.

She accused ICE of “violating constitutional rights of residents” and referred to the agency’s operations as “gross federal overreach.”

Roney said, “Immigration enforcement is not a criminal matter, it’s a civil one. There are actions, more than statements, that local elected officials can do to keep our communities safe.”

The Rev. Claudia Jimenez, Minister of Faith Formation at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Asheville, addressed the press after Roney.

“We are not dangerous criminals,” she said.

“We are not violent. We are your neighbors… How many of you had immigrant siblings take care of your roofs after [Hurricane] Helene? How many of you have immigrant siblings whose businesses you support and that support you? How many of you have immigrant siblings that clean your clothes and serve the yummy food that Asheville is known for?”

A Department of Homeland Security release connected to the “Charlotte’s Web” operation reported that among those arrested were members of the MS-13 gang, designated as a foreign terrorist organization by President Donald Trump hours after taking office on Jan. 20.

Others arrested included illegal immigrants with convictions for assault, larceny, and DWI.

Federal authorities have documented multiple attacks on ICE personnel in recent months.

Agents have been fired upon during operations in both Illinois and California. DHS released a statement Tuesday highlighting an increase in ramming incidents targeting federal officers involved in immigration enforcement.

Two illegal aliens were killed during a Sept. 24 shooting at an ICE office in Dallas, where the gunman later took his own life.

Since July 4, there have been at least two other incidents in Texas in which shots were fired at ICE or Border Patrol facilities.

Ten people have been charged with attempted murder in connection with an ambush on an ICE detention center.

DHS reported in an Oct. 30 release that death threats against ICE agents have risen by 8,000%.

A Sept. 22 release from the agency noted a 1,000% year-over-year increase in assaults on its personnel.

New Documents Reveal CIA Met with Top COVID Dr for Years Before the Pandemic

Newly released emails show that the United States Intelligence Community, including the CIA and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, held regular meetings with Dr. Ralph Baric beginning in 2015.

Senator Rand Paul’s office spent years seeking the documents, which detail ongoing contact between federal intelligence agencies and one of the nation’s leading coronavirus researchers.

Baric, a researcher at the University of North Carolina, has faced accusations that he engineered the Covid-19 virus through work involving the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

He has not testified publicly about his role in coronavirus research or his collaboration with the lab in China.

The emails indicate that the CIA sought to discuss “Coronavirus evolution and possible natural human adaptation with Baric,” and that Baric participated in quarterly meetings with Intelligence Community personnel.

The message release adds to a chain of records and allegations examined in The Covid Response at Five Years involving federal intelligence agencies and the origins of the pandemic.

A condensed timeline based on the documents and other sources outlines a series of events cited by investigators, whistleblowers, and congressional committees:

2015: Intelligence officials met quarterly with Baric to discuss topics that included “possible human adaptation” linked to coronavirus evolution.

2019–2020: Journalist Seymour Hersh reported that the CIA maintained an asset inside the Wuhan Institute of Virology involved in “both offensive and defensive work” with pathogens.

According to Hersh, the asset informed the agency in early 2020 that a laboratory accident had infected a researcher.

March 18, 2020: The Department of Homeland Security replaced the Department of Health and Human Services as the lead federal agency responding to the Covid-19 outbreak, a shift examined in Debbie Lerman’s The Deep State Goes Viral.

Spring 2020: A whistleblower alleged that the CIA offered financial incentives to scientists to change their position on the origins of Covid-19.

According to the House Oversight Committee, “six of the seven members of the Team believed the intelligence and science were sufficient to make a low confidence assessment that COVID-19 originated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China.”

The Committee stated that those six members “were given a significant monetary incentive to change their position.”

2020: Another whistleblower alleged that Dr. Anthony Fauci held secret meetings at CIA headquarters “without a record of entry” to influence the agency’s Covid-19 origins inquiry.

The whistleblower told Congress, “He knew what was going on…He was covering his ass and he was trying to do it with the Intel community.”

2021: Defense Department scientists assembled evidence supporting the theory that Covid originated through a lab leak, but President Biden’s Director of National Intelligence, Avril Haines, barred them from presenting their findings or joining discussions on the virus’s origins.

2021: The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, part of the Department of Homeland Security, launched a program known as “switchboarding,” directing social media companies on what content to restrict or allow.

2022: The Department of Homeland Security announced the creation of a “Disinformation Governance Board.”

The initiative was discontinued after public criticism of its proposed leader, Nina Jankowicz.

The records and allegations outlined above have been cited by critics who argue that intelligence agencies exercised broad authority over public health policy, pandemic messaging, and research surrounding the origins of Covid-19.

The timeline also references concerns that intelligence officials worked closely with academic institutions and private organizations on pandemic-related planning exercises, including Event 201 and Crimson Contagion, years before the outbreak.

The documents raise questions about the Intelligence Community’s role in coronavirus research, pandemic response, and early assessments of a possible lab leak.

They also reference calls for testimony from Baric and intelligence officials about gain-of-function research, work conducted at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and actions taken in 2020 concerning the origin of the virus.

Supporters of further inquiry argue that congressional hearings, investigations, and sworn testimony are necessary to establish a full account of the involvement of federal agencies and research institutions in the events leading up to and following the Covid-19 outbreak.

Chicago Woman Set on Fire on Train By Felon with 49 Prior Arrests

A woman is in critical condition after being set on fire during an attack on a Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line train Monday night.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:26 p.m., according to information provided to CWB Chicago by a source familiar with the investigation.

Police initially stated that a 45-year-old male had a “verbal altercation” with the 27-year-old woman before the assault.

However, a source who spoke with CWB Chicago said the attack was unprovoked and random.

Officials reported that a person of interest was taken into custody but had not been charged as of the latest update.

The source told CWB Chicago that the woman was looking at her cell phone when the man approached and poured a liquid from a bottle onto her.

She attempted to run, but the man reportedly caught up to her and ignited the liquid, setting her on fire.

The source said the attacker was also set on fire during the incident.

The woman was transported to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.

CWB Chicago reported that the suspect had previously been charged with aggravated battery causing great bodily harm.

A judge denied a request to keep him in custody and instead ordered 24/7 electronic monitoring.

Three weeks later, another judge modified the conditions, allowing him to leave his home during daytime hours — which included the time the attack occurred.

According to the report, the individual had been arrested 22 times by the Chicago Police Department since 2016.

The arson incident would mark his 50th arrest, with some of his previous arrests involving other arson cases.

A source told CWB Chicago that no passengers on the train intervened after the woman was set on fire.

Joy Reid Says She’d Like to Speak to the Manager About Penises in Ladies’ Locker Rooms

Former MSNBC host Joy Reid said she would “freak out” if she encountered a biological man in a women’s locker room, describing her own discomfort with the situation during an episode of the Reid This Reid That podcast with journalist Jacque Reid.

The discussion centered on a recent incident at a Gold’s Gym involving a black woman and a “transgender woman.”

Jacque Reid recounted how the woman, identified as Tish Hyman, was “kicked out of the gym” after objecting to a biological male entering the women’s locker room. Jacque Reid said Hyman described the individual as a “grown man with a big penis.”

During the conversation, Joy Reid discussed her own habits when she previously worked for MSNBC, now known as MS NOW.

She said she preferred to change in a private room because she did not want to undress in front of others.

“I would always change in, like, a private room because I’m like, I’m not trying to change in front of people like that,” Joy Reid said.

“I don’t need people to see me naked and then see me in the hallway later. But, then, I would come out of my little private dressing room, and there would be women walking around — I’m talking about women — women walking around with their boobies danglin’, swinging in the breeze, and it’s not even like perky boobies, just boobies drooping to their knees. They kicking their boobies down the street, and they want to walk up and have a conversation with you. And, I’m like, ‘Don’t walk up to me with no clothes on and talk to me. I don’t want to talk to you.’”

Reid said she already found those situations “alarming” and made clear that seeing a biological man in the same space would heighten her reaction.

“I’m alarmed enough when I see a woman with her dangling boobies; if I saw a penis in the ladies’ locker room, I would freak out too. This is nothing against trans-anybody,” she said.

She added that she would likely “go to management” and ask why a naked man was in the women’s locker room.

Reid’s comments follow past statements she has made criticizing Republican positions on transgender policies.

She previously accused Republicans of conducting a “nationwide crusade against transgender people,” a position she labeled “dangerous and evil.”

In December 2024, she compared efforts to prevent minors from receiving gender reassignment surgery to actions reminiscent of “Nazi Germany,” according to reporting from Fox News at the time.

Zohran Mamdani Suggests He’ll Disobey U.S. Law: ‘New York is a City Of International Law’

Incoming New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani reiterated that he intends to direct the New York Police Department to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visits the city while subject to an International Criminal Court warrant.

Mamdani made the comments during a live interview with ABC 7, repeating his claim that New York City should act as a jurisdiction that upholds “international law.”

Mamdani has been public about his position throughout his campaign.

He has said that if elected mayor, he would seek to enforce the ICC warrant against Netanyahu, which stems from the conflict in Gaza.

He has also said he believes he is obligated to do so on the grounds of “international law,” despite the fact that the warrant is not recognized under U.S. law.

“So I’ve said time and again that I believe this is a city of international law. And being a city of international law means looking to uphold international law. And that means upholding the warrants from the International Criminal Court, whether they’re for Benjamin Netanyahu or Vladimir Putin,” Mamdani said when asked whether he would order the NYPD to arrest Netanyahu during the next United Nations General Assembly in Manhattan.

“I think that that’s critically important to showcase our values. And unlike Donald Trump, I’m someone who looks to exist within the confines of the laws that we have. So I will look to exhaust every legal possibility not to create my own laws to do so,” he added.

When asked whether the significance of the United Nations General Assembly would affect his decision, Mamdani said, “Well, I think we are a global city, but I also think what New Yorkers are looking for is consistency in the way in which we talk about our values and follow through on them. And that’s why I think these warrants from the International Criminal Court, they are worth fully exploring every legal possibility to actually follow through on.”

The ICC’s Pre-Trial Chamber I issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on November 21, 2024.

The court cited allegations of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

“With regard to the crimes, the [Court’s Pre-Trial Chamber I] found reasonable grounds to believe that Mr. Netanyahu…and Mr. Gallant…bear criminal responsibility for the following crimes as co-perpetrators for committing the acts jointly with others: the war crime of starvation as a method of warfare; and the crimes against humanity of murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts,” the ICC stated.

The United States is not a party to the Rome Statute and does not recognize ICC jurisdiction.

The federal government has a longstanding policy rejecting the ICC’s authority.

President Trump issued an executive order in February 2025 imposing sanctions on the ICC and reaffirming that the court has no jurisdiction over U.S. soil or personnel.

Federal policy bars cooperation with ICC investigations involving U.S. interests or allies, making the warrant unenforceable in the United States without federal authorization.

President Trump warned Mamdani in July about his comments regarding enforcing ICC warrants.

The president told him to “behave or face consequences.”

Legal experts have questioned whether Mamdani’s plan could be carried out.

Professor David Bosco of Indiana University said the proposal “would almost certainly not happen,” calling it a “publicity stunt” and predicting that federal courts would intervene.

“Diplomatic immunity and the conduct of foreign relations are federal matters and the federal government is given wide discretion by the courts to manage foreign policy and international legal relations,” he said.

Mitch Silber, former NYPD director of intelligence analysis and head of the Community Security Initiative, said the NYPD “can’t take illegal acts, even if the mayor wants them to,” adding that an order to arrest Netanyahu on an ICC warrant would be prohibited under federal law and “overturned immediately.”

President Trump has said he will withhold federal funds and deploy federal assets to New York City if Mamdani attempts to enforce the ICC warrant.

The president has also indicated he is open to an in-person meeting with the incoming mayor.

Lawmakers Say GOP Leadership Cut Deal That Let Epstein-Linked Democrat Off the Hook

Members of Congress are alleging that Republican leadership negotiated a deal that resulted in the failed censure vote against Del. Stacey Plaskett (D-VI), who appeared in recently released Jeffrey Epstein documents.

The claims were made by Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), both of whom say the agreement was designed to shield Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) during a separate ethics matter.

The censure resolution targeted Plaskett after documents showed Epstein fed her questions during a congressional hearing.

Several Republicans initially expected the measure to pass, given the GOP’s numerical advantage.

Instead, three Republicans voted against the resolution, three voted “present,” and others did not vote, causing the effort to fail.

Burchett released a video addressing the outcome.

He said, “Late vote series to censure Delegate Stacey Plaskett. She’s the one that received a sizable contribution from Epstein, which apparently is legal. I’m not sure. But she is also the one who was texting with him during a committee hearing, getting instructions on how to better attack Trump, from Epstein sending her the texts.”

Burchett continued, “So she’s on some pretty powerful committees, and that just tells you how corrupt this place is. But the disgusting thing about it was, four Republicans chose not to vote. Three Republicans voted president — present, excuse me, and three Republicans voted no. So it failed. And what they did was, they cut a deal. They cut a deal on another ethics vote on a Republican, and that’s just wrong.”

Burchett said lawmakers should vote independently rather than engage in negotiations linked to unrelated cases.

“Everybody should just stand on their own. If it were truly, we don’t care whose party these sex offenders and all this other stuff are in, we’re going after them, then we start cutting deals. To me, it’s really disgusting. I get disgusted about some things, but this is one that’s really, really bad. You’ve got some people on there who are chairmen of committees and things like that, and that’s the kind of people we put in leadership. It’s bogus, and it stinks, and the first opportunity I get to speak to leadership I will give them a piece of my mind, and I doubt it will go anywhere, but they’re the most sewer-dwelling people, some of these folks, not all of them, but some of them are. It’s just disgusting. It really is.”

According to Burchett and Luna, this is the second time Mills has benefitted from an internal deal.

The first involved a vote to censure Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), which Mills opposed.

Omar made headlines in September after suggesting that the assassination of Charlie Kirk was justified.

Mills voted against censuring her.

Around that same period, reports surfaced regarding Mills’ marriage.

His wedding was officiated by Mohammed Al Hanooti, whom Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) described as an “Al-Qaeda mosque” leader.

Al Hanooti was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

The revelation triggered questions among Republicans about Mills’ decision to protect Omar during the censure vote.

Mills’ personal conduct has also drawn scrutiny.

In October, an ex-girlfriend filed a restraining order against him, alleging blackmail and threats of violence.

The most recent deal, according to Burchett and Luna, helped Mills avoid a separate ethics action, while allowing Plaskett — who was named in the Epstein documents — to avoid censure and committee removal.

Republican members critical of the decision say party leadership must explain why Mills’ protection took precedence, resulting in both Omar and Plaskett avoiding consequences.

Burchett said the party cannot claim to prioritize accountability while cutting agreements that prevent ethics actions from moving forward.

Former NJ Democrat Mayor Arrested for Alleged Drugging and Sexual Assault of a Minor

Andrew LaBruno, the former Democratic mayor of Dumont and a current Jersey City police sergeant, was arrested Monday and charged in connection with the sexual assault of a juvenile he met on social media, according to officials and reporting from NorthJersey.com.

LaBruno, 44, allegedly initiated an online conversation with the minor before arranging to meet in person.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said the victim did not know LaBruno prior to the interaction.

According to an affidavit of probable cause cited by NorthJersey.com, LaBruno arrived at the juvenile’s residence in Englewood while the minor was home alone.

Prosecutors said LaBruno sprayed an “unknown substance” into his hand and held it over the juvenile’s mouth and nose, which caused the victim to become dizzy.

The Prosecutor’s Office stated that LaBruno “sexually assaulted and endangered the juvenile” during the encounter.

Following the investigation, LaBruno was arrested on Nov. 17.

He was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

Prosecutors said he was taken to the Bergen County Jail, where he is being held pending a detention hearing.

LaBruno previously served as mayor of Dumont before leaving office.

He is currently employed as a police sergeant in Jersey City.

The Prosecutor’s Office has not released additional details regarding the circumstances leading to his arrest or whether further charges may be considered as the investigation continues.

Epstein Records Set for Unsealing as Democrats Push Last-Minute Conspiracy Claims

Both chambers of Congress have approved legislation to release all files related to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender and New York financier who died in federal custody.

The House passed the measure 427-1, and the Senate approved it unanimously.

President Donald Trump said over the weekend that he supports full disclosure.

The bill grants Attorney General Pam Bondi authority to redact or withhold information that could endanger national security or interfere with ongoing federal investigations.

The scope of the files and the high-profile individuals associated with Epstein have been central to the debate surrounding the release.

Lawmakers have noted that a process is required to prevent defamation, and that being named in the files does not indicate involvement in criminal activity.

The issue has been a point of political focus since the investigation into Epstein gained renewed attention.

Some Democrats have circulated allegations that federal agents removed Trump’s name from the documents prior to their release.

The claims were made as debate continued over the expected scope of disclosure and the individuals likely to be referenced in the material.

The release of the files is expected to include information involving multiple public figures.

Lawmakers have pointed to previous incidents involving communications connected to Epstein.

Del. Stacey Plaskett of the Virgin Islands exchanged text messages with Epstein in 2019 during a hearing with former Trump attorney Michael Cohen.

During that hearing, Epstein sent her suggested questions.

Plaskett had previously supported tax benefits that affected Epstein’s operations in the Virgin Islands.

The order to release the files follows years of congressional interest in records associated with Epstein, whose criminal case involved charges of sex trafficking.

The newly approved legislation sets out the process for handling the documents and outlines the attorney general’s authority regarding redactions and national security concerns.

Colorado Dem Rep Crow Struggles When Confronted Over Telling Military to Ignore Trump

Fox News’ Martha MacCallum questioned Democratic Colorado Rep. Jason Crow on Wednesday over a video urging military service members to refuse “illegal orders,” pressing him repeatedly to identify any action by President Donald Trump that violated federal law.

Crow appeared on “The Story with Martha MacCallum” after joining five other Democratic lawmakers with prior military or intelligence backgrounds in a video posted by Democratic Michigan Sen. Elissa Slotkin.

In the video, they told service members to “ignore illegal orders.”

MacCallum asked Crow to provide a specific example of an unlawful directive by the president.

“I did make videos about it as a matter of fact. I pushed back on Joe Biden. I pushed back on Donald Trump. I pushed back on Barack Obama. I pushed back on George W. Bush because I had to fight those wars,” Crow said.

MacCallum responded that the message released by the group lacked clarity.

“But at least that was something specific … No, I think that what this president has said is that he has not taken us to war. That he wants to prevent war. That he wants to extract us from situations where we’re putting… We’ve said from the beginning that we won’t have any boots on the ground,” she said.

Crow argued that Trump believes he can “bomb his way out of” any situation, citing the bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities and missile strikes on ships carrying drugs in the Caribbean.

MacCallum said the message from the Democratic lawmakers was too vague and could cause uncertainty for active-duty personnel.

“I’m trying to figure out specifically what your issue is,” MacCallum said.

“And so for members, prominent members of the United States Congress to tell young men and women of the military that they should not abide by illegal orders and to leave it so vague and to talk about comments that have been made in the past and what they might lead to, I think could potentially be very confusing for young men and women who have committed to service, which you honorably did and I commend you for the sacrifice that you made.”

Crow said moral clarity was necessary.

“I’m going to respond to that. Military service is tough. It’s really tough. We send our men and women into very difficult, very sometimes untenable situations. I know that. I’ve been in those situations. That’s why moral clarity. That’s why reminding people about what their obligations are,” he said.

MacCallum told Crow that he and others had “grabbed something and twisted it and contorted it,” adding that the message could mislead young service members into believing they were being ordered to act unlawfully.

“Some might say that you have grabbed something and twisted it and contorted it,” MacCallum said.

“You have you know, you’re talking to young members of the American military and you’re not telling them specifically what it is they should see as illegal. So you’re putting ideas into their head that maybe they’re being asked to do something illegal. And what we’re seeing actually is recruitment rising and people wanting to join the military under the president.”

Crow responded by suggesting MacCallum did not believe troops could follow federal law. MacCallum said she has “great respect” for service members.

In the original video, Democratic Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly claimed Trump was “pitting” military and intelligence personnel “against American citizens.”

Slotkin, Kelly, and Pennsylvania Rep. Chris Deluzio asserted that service members may “refuse illegal orders” to uphold the Constitution.

Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution designates the president as commander-in-chief of the armed forces and head of the executive branch, which oversees agencies including the FBI and CIA.

Slotkin has previously accused the U.S. military of violating constitutional rights.

During a June 18 hearing with Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, she asked whether he directed soldiers to use “lethal force” on peaceful protesters.

Hegseth denied the claim and said she should be cautious about believing information without verification.

Kelly told NBC News that personnel might face “legal jeopardy” if maritime strikes in the Caribbean were later deemed unlawful.

Hegseth wrote on X that the lawmakers involved had “Stage 4 [Trump Derangement Syndrome].”

ICE Arrests Nearly 3,600 Criminal Illegal Aliens in One City During Shutdown

Federal immigration authorities have carried out a series of large-scale enforcement actions across several states in recent weeks, with officials reporting thousands of arrests tied to a nationwide focus on criminal illegal aliens, trafficking networks, and cartel-linked activity.

The operations follow President Donald Trump’s directives prioritizing offenders connected to narco-terrorism, child exploitation, and organized criminal networks.

In Houston, Immigration and Customs Enforcement reported nearly 3,600 arrests in a single coordinated operation.

According to ICE, the group included 51 individuals with child-sex offenses and 67 convicted sex offenders.

Officials tied the action to the administration’s renewed emphasis on targeting cartel supply chains and human trafficking infrastructure.

Authorities cited Houston’s longstanding role as a major distribution hub for both drugs and human trafficking.

The operation in Houston followed actions conducted the previous week in multiple regions.

Those actions included welfare-fraud raids that authorities said recovered more than 24,400 missing migrant children from trafficking and exploitation networks across several states.

Federal officials characterized those raids as part of the same broader enforcement campaign.

Other states reported coordinated activity as well.

In Florida, the Highway Patrol’s “Operation Criminal Return” resulted in the arrest of 230 criminal aliens.

State officials said the individuals included multiple child predators and sex offenders who were subsequently transferred to ICE for deportation.

Florida authorities reported more than 6,200 illegal aliens arrested statewide in recent weeks and turned over to federal officers.

Federal agents also conducted a concentrated effort in Charlotte, North Carolina, where 130 illegal migrants were arrested over a single weekend.

According to officials, many of those taken into custody had prior criminal histories involving assaults, DUIs, larcenies, and hit-and-runs.

CBP Charlotte Area Port Director Gregory Bovino said, “We do expect that number to go up a lot,” noting that nearly 100 arrests occurred within hours of the operation’s launch.

Officials said the rapid pace of enforcement created a visible deterrent effect in surrounding neighborhoods.

Border Czar Tom Homan responded to criticism from Rep. Alma Adams of North Carolina following the arrests in her district.

Adams had raised concerns after agents removed individuals described by authorities as convicted child rapists and murderers.

“She can dislike it all she wants… You’d think she’d be hand-in-hand with us, thanking President Trump for focusing on the worst of the worst — child rapists and murderers,” Homan said.

He added that Adams “needs to understand we’re enforcing the law. I mean, what other federal agency does she think should NOT enforce laws? We’re taking public safety threats out of her community every day, which makes her community safer. We’d like her to be a partner, but she doesn’t want it.”

Federal officials described the recent actions as part of a coordinated national strategy involving partnerships between federal agencies and state law enforcement in jurisdictions seeking additional support.

Authorities said the effort specifically targets individuals connected to trafficking, cartel activity, and prior criminal convictions.

Operations in Houston, Florida, and Charlotte mark the latest steps in what officials described as a continuing initiative.

Federal authorities reported that additional actions are expected as agencies pursue cases linked to broader trafficking and criminal networks identified in recent investigations.
