Ted Cruz Slams Biden Nominee Over Transfer Of Man To Female Prison

Republican Sen. Ted Cruz slammed one of Joe Biden’s judicial nominees at a Senate Judiciary hearing on Wednesday, May 22.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Sarah Netburn has been nominated by the President to serve on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, prompting a hearing in front of Senators.

In 2022, Judge Netburn recommended William McCain, who identifies as July Justine Shelby, be housed with female inmates in a federal prison despite being convicted for child rape and possession of child pornography.

“Six-foot-two, biologically a man,” said Sen. Cruz. “A minute ago, you said that when this man decided that he was a she, that you said this individual was quote, I wrote it down, ‘sober and entirely a female.'”

“That phrase struck me as remarkable. Did this individual have male genitalia?” asked Cruz. “Do they have the right not to have a six-foot-two man who is a repeat serial rapist put in as their cellmate?”

In response, Judge Netburn said she “consider[s] the facts presented to me, and I reached a decision”, adding that inmates have the right “to be safe in their space”.

Echoing fellow Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana, Sen. Cruz labelled Netburn as “a political activist”.

“What I’m saying right now, that if you put this person in a female prison, there will be a risk of sexual assault to the women. And you know what you did? You said you didn’t care about the women. I’m going to quote what you wrote. You wrote, quote, the Bureau of Prisons claimed penal logical interest in protecting female prisoners from sexual violence and trauma. This interest is legitimate,” responded Cruz.

Following a heated argument with Democrat chair Laphonza Butler, Cruz added: “[Netburn] has an obligation to explain why she directly contradicted what she wrote in her report. She says in her report, the Bureau of Prisons claim technological interest is in protecting female prisoners from sexual violence and trauma. She just told you the Bureau of Prisons didn’t say there was a concern about sexual violence and trauma. Those are directly contradictory.”

Illegal Immigrant “Immediately Becomes A Republican” After Crossing Border

A Turkish illegal immigrant who paid $10,000 to a cartel to cross the border has said Americans are “right” to be deeply concerned over illegal immigration.

In an interview with Fox News, the migrant said he had seen no security or background checks when crossing the border.

“American people [are] right – completely true,” he told Fox correspondent Bill Melugin in San Diego. “Who comes into this country? They don’t know. Okay, I’m good, but how do [Americans] know if they’re not good.”

“How [about] if they’re killers, psychopaths, or else? No guarantee of that.”

Security of the border has come under deep scrutiny under the Biden administration. In an April 2024 poll, only 20% of Americans believed the U.S. has “control over its borders”.

Questions were asked by social media users as to how the man had $10,000 cash yet was not able to go through the U.S. visa application system.

Others comically noted how his criticism of border security would make him a voter for Donald Trump in November.

MSNBC Fishes For Clicks With Red Lobster Opinion Piece

When I write for this site, I usually look to debunk woke myths or highlight examples of extremism we feel you should be aware of.

This one, however, is the most absurd story I’ve ever seen. MSNBC contributor Robyn Autry claimed on May 19 that the Red Lobster bankruptcy proceedings would “hit Black communities differently,” at least demonstrating an impressive ability in racializing anything. Partially justifying the claim by pointing out a correlation between Black people and their consumption of fish, Autry went on to highlight Bill Darden’s integrationist policy when he opened his first Red Lobster in 1968 (which, of course, was required by law due to passing of the Civil Rights Act four years earlier).

Effectively, the article goes on to highlight how Red Lobster is popular among Black and Latino Americans, and pins its success and failures to the economic prospects of Black Americans. According to the author, “Black consumers are among the most loyal. Sure, we like fish and a good deal — Red Lobster represented something like the strip mall version of the beloved fish fry — but we like being treated equally even more.”

It’s worth noting that if a white person wrote an identical argument he’d be accused of racism for unfairly stereotyping black people. But once again, the only standards on the left are double standards.

The article was more worthy of mockery than a read, and the reactions were hilarious:

Former Biden Press Sec Jen Psaki Ridiculed For Claiming She’s A Journalist

Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was met with ridicule at her own book launch when claiming she was a journalist.

Psaki, who served as Biden’s spokesperson until May 2022, is currently promoting her new book titled “Say More.” It’s a launch which has seen a disastrous start after after she was forced to remove some information due to inaccuracies.

Since her departure from Biden administration, Psaki has fronted MSNBC coverage on Sunday mornings and Monday evenings, much to the dismay of her colleagues.

However, it appears not everyone is taking her new career seriously when questioned by Kara Swisher.

“You switched to journalism essentially. You think you’re a journalist?” asked Swisher.

“Yes,” replied Psaki, prompting laughter from the attending audience.

Social media users were quick to point out her connection to the Biden administration.

Others, meanwhile, were skeptical over her newfound passion.

Is Jen Psaki really a journalist? Or is she merely looking to stay in the spotlight? Let us know in the comments below.

Dylan Mulvaney Confuses Rhinos With RINOs In Video To Congressional Candidate

Transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney suffered an amusing blunder when praising climate campaigner and “Republican” House of Representatives candidate Julie Fedorchak for “going to the D.C. Zoo and to work with RINOs”.

The video – paid for by her Republican rival in the race, Rick Becker, was posted on Cameo, where celebrities earn money for sending pre-written video messages upon request.

Fedorchak has received criticism for her repeated emphasis on green energy proposals in North Dakota, thus impacting the coal industry which provides 55% of the state’s energy supply.

Reaction to Becker’s video was mostly positive, with many seeing the fun in the light-hearted clip.

“What’s not a laughing matter is how time and again Julie Fedorchak placed radical green energy proposals above the coal industry here in North Dakota,” Becker added.

If Mulvaney has the same effect on Fodorchak’s candidacy as he did on Bud Light, the best is yet to come for Becker.

Socialist Website Criticizes Walmart Over “Starvation Wages” – But Walmart Often Pays More Than They Do

Socialist propaganda website Jacobin was the subject of a hilarious community note on X when posting an article about Walmart’s first-quarter profits.

The site posted the article, titled “Walmart Is Still Putting Ebenezer Scrooge to Shame”, on Monday, May 20. It described the retailer as “infamous for its starvation wages”.

“The surge is a result of its strategic shift toward catering to affluent shoppers while its full-time workers continue to rely on Medicaid and food stamps,” the post added.

However, social media users were quick to point out the low rates of pay for Jacobin’s writers, who are only paid $0.07 per word.

This pay rate – for which writers are asked to complete at least 1,800 words – is at lower end of the pay scale for inexperienced, beginner writers. Alas, a worker at Walmart, who can enjoy additional company benefits, outearns the average writer in the Jacobin sweatshop when you account for the amount of research and editing it takes to complete a 1,800 word article.

Given the absurdity of the article, others questioned whether Jacobin’s pay rate is actually too generous!

Jacobin claims to be a “leading voice of the American left, offering socialist perspectives on politics, economics, and culture”. Its low payrate, at the very least, suggests it practices what it preaches.

Illegal Alien Sparks Outrage Online After Complaining U.S. Isn’t Giving Them Enough Free Stuff

A so-called “migrant” (the new politically correct term for “illegal alien”) from the Dominican Republic has spoken of her “traumatic” experience in upstate New York where she is currently receiving free food and rent.

Yaniry Pena and her family left the Dominican Republic in 2023, taking a month and a half to travel from El Salvador to Mexico before crossing the border into Texas. Upon arrival in the United States, she was enlisted in a housing program. While initially being based in a downtown hotel, Pena was relocated into an apartment complex in Rochester.

Speaking to News10NBC, Pena complained of the condition of her apartment complex which did not have gas nor power. She also claimed her fridge was filled with either tiny worms or feces until it was replaced.

Despite being in the United States for more than a year, Pena is yet to secure a work permit.

Social media users were critical of her complaints, highlighting the issues veterans face upon leaving the armed forces.

Others noted that migration is a difficult issue for all, adding that hiccups are part of the process in becoming an American citizen.

Cori Bush Slammed For Mike Brown Bill Post

Rep. Cori Bush sparked controversy on Monday, May 20, after she marked the 28th birthday of Black Lives Matter martyr Mike Brown.

Brown was shot and killed by police officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri, on August 9, 2014, when the latter was called to a “stealing in progress”. Minutes later, Officer Wilson questioned two suspects who were walking in the middle of Canfield Drive, resulting in a struggle in which Brown reached through the window of the police car. Wilson then pursued Brown, who tried to grab his gun. Wilson then fired at least six shots resulting in Brown’s death in what a jury found entirely justified.

Less than 12 hours earlier, Brown had been involved in an incident in which he was alleged to have stolen a box of cigars from a store. Video surveillance footage shows Brown manhandling an individual outside the store premises during the incident.

Rep. Bush used what would have been Brown’s 28th birthday to introduce a new bill, for which she was quickly ‘community noted’ on X.

Users were also keen to point out the facts leading up to Brown’s death nearly a decade ago.

Officer Wilson was never charged in relation to Brown’s death, despite large-scale unrest in Ferguson in the aftermath of the shooting.

Progressive Claims Harrison Butker Should Be Fired And Replaced By A Woman

The debate over whether a Catholic man can express his vehemently Catholic views in the United States continues to rage on.

Earlier in May, social media erupted when Harrison Butker – kicker for the Kansas City Chiefs – addressed graduates at Benedictine College – a liberal arts college in Atchinson, Kansas.

In praising the role of women in the household, Butker was labeled a sexist by enraged liberals across the nation. Likewise, his criticism of Pride Month sparked fury among LGBTQ+ activists.

Not everyone was outraged; despite condemnation from the NFL, Butker’s jersey became the most popular in the online store as thousands offered a show of support.

Nevertheless, his nationwide support has not been universal. One infuriated progressive, based in Washington D.C., opted to write an opinion column in which they called for the Chiefs to “make a statement by signing a woman to kick”.

“There are more than 300 players on the 14 teams in the National Women’s Soccer League,” the columnist wrote. “That’s more than 300 women who are professional ball kickers and don’t currently choose to be stay-at-home housewives.”

Naturally, the calls for dismissal did not go the way the writer intended.

He did, nevertheless, find some support.

What’s your opinion? Should Butker be fired for his comments, or is Woke extremism going further than ever?

Bette Midler Wonders What Would Have Happened If Hillary Clinton Claimed The Election Was Stolen

Progressive singer and actress Bette Midler caused a stir on social media on Sunday, May 19, by questioning what would have happened had Hillary Clinton claimed the election was “stolen” from her.

Midler made the comments on X in reference to Donald Trump’s repeated claims that he illegitimately lost the 2020 presidential election, which is believed by a sizeable percentage of the American public.

Unfortunately, it seems the Hocus Pocus star was quickly corrected by fellow users of the platform, including filmmaker Mike Cernovich.

Indeed, former Secretary Clinton made several comments disputing the legitimacy of the 2016 Presidential Election. “There was a widespread understanding that this election [in 2016] was not on the level,” she told The Ticket podcast in 2020. “We still don’t know what really happened.”

During the discussion, Clinton went as far to say that where was “a deep sense of unease” after she lost the election despite her popular vote success.

Worse still for Mrs Midler, users highlighted her own previous question of Trump’s electoral victory in 2016.

Hollywood’s perception of politics never fails to amaze…
