Democrats and Republicans in the Michigan House of Representatives passed a bipartisan amendment to the state’s K-12 budget containing a provision that encourages students to report on their parents for “improperly” stored firearms, the Detroit Free Press reported.

School leaders around the state were skeptical of the fiscal year 2025 school budget that the state legislature passed and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer signed in July, and so the Democrats rammed through HB 5503, a budget amendment to the 2025 budget, with the help of some Republicans.

Addressing those demands for more money, lawmakers moved to sweeten the deal for public schools by adding $126 million, $125 million of which is allocated to mental health programs, which are often ways in which public schools promote the LGBT agenda, and school safety programs.

The final $1 million in the bill–ostensibly a part of the school safety aspect of the bill–will create a “tip line” number which children could call in order to anonymously tell on their parents for engaging in alleged improper firearm storage practices.

The tweet continued: “This amendment would allow ISDs to establish a tip hotline for students to anonymously report parents who improperly store a firearm. While we all support responsible firearms storage, this is the type of thing we’d expect to see from a totalitarian police state.”

Despite the alleged safety provision, the bill passed Tuesday in the state House by a 98-11 margin, and the Senate by a 23-15 margin.

The House Oversight Committee has launched an investigation into the Biden-Harris administration’s alleged use of taxpayer-funded resources to fly Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Pennsylvania, a key battleground state ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

The inquiry, led by Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.), centers around accusations that the administration may have misused government assets to assist Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign, Fox News reports.

In letters addressed to the White House, the Pentagon, and the Department of Justice (DOJ), Comer requested documents and information regarding the administration’s decision to transport Zelensky to Pennsylvania.

Former President Donald Trump visited Sprankles Neighborhood Market in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, where he surprised a local mother of three with a generous gift during his stop.

Trump, who is focusing on key swing states as the 2024 presidential race heats up, greeted shoppers, engaged with store employees, and even helped out a struggling shopper by lowering her grocery bill.

As Trump interacted with customers in the store, he noticed a mother checking out at the register. “Here, it’s going to go down a little bit,” Trump told the woman, handing her a $100 bill. “It just went down 100 bucks,” he added, referring to her grocery total.

The grateful woman replied, “Thank you so much,” as Trump said his goodbyes and thanked those around him for their support. “We’ll do that for you from the White House, alright?” Trump added with a wave.

In addition to helping out the mother, Trump supported the local business by purchasing a large bag of popcorn. “Oh, look, I gotta get some. We gotta get it,” Trump remarked as he handed the popcorn to his team.

When another customer told Trump that his mother had just bought the same bag, Trump asked, “Is this stuff good?” The customer confirmed, “She says it’s the best.” Trump humorously replied, “If it is, I’ll be sending, I’ll be in Washington D.C., hopefully in the Oval Office, I’ll send for popcorn.”

During the visit, Trump spoke with the store owner about the challenges small businesses are facing due to inflation.

The store owner explained how rising prices have affected his sales. “You know, I’m very proud because every year we went up, except for the last three years because of this inflation,” the owner told Trump. “Prices are up, but our sales are down, so we’ve had to get super creative on how to use our space.”

Trump acknowledged the owner’s struggles, responding, “Prices go up, yet your sales are down.” The store owner added, “It’s been brutal. Thankfully, I have a great crew, a great staff, my family, we work together.”

Donald Trump is witnessing seismic increases in support across swing states and Democratic strongholds, according to a New York Times/Sienna poll.

The Republican leads Kamala Harris in Arizona, Georgia, and North Carolina – states which the former president needs in his bid to retake the White House. He leads by five percentage points in Arizona, four in Georgia, and two in North Carolina.

Mainstream media outlets described the survey as Trump’s best poll results in weeks. His once universal lead over President Joe Biden diminished as Harris enjoyed a honeymoon period of heightened popularity, although her support seems to be dwindling according to the latest major poll.

Intriguingly, Trump has also made gains in New York. Although the state is all-but certain to vote Democrat, the former president could inflict the worst performance for a DNC candidate since 1988 on Harris if the poll is to be believed. Trump trails the Vice President by 12 percentage points; by contrast, Biden won New York by 23 in 2020.

The poll’s findings left many Republicans feeling optimistic.

Oprah Winfrey‘s campaign event for Kamala Harris on Thursday, Oprah’s Unite for America Live Streaming event, featured a story about how she was approached by a black man at an airport who revealed who he was voting for.

During the event, Harris admitted she is a gun owner, but she would use it to shoot intruders in her home, exposing her g hypocrisy on gun control

The Vice President dropped the bombshell that she and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz both own guns.

“I’m a gun owner. Tim Walz is a gun owner,” said Kamala, much to Oprah’s surprise.

“I did not know that,” Oprah said.

“If somebody breaks in my house, they’re getting shot,” Harris admitted.

“Tim Walz and I are both gun owners.”

“We’re not taking anybody’s guns away, so stop with the continuous lying about this stuff.”

The Democrat party never stops shrieking that Republicans are misogynist (“sexist” has been retired in favor of the accusation of “hating” women because they’re women) pigs. Any conservative who does not want to allow elective abortion all the way through the ninth month is accused of wanting women to die. Democrat women enjoy dressing up in Handmaids Tale costumes with tape over their mouths to make it seem like America is careening toward a totalitarian state where women will be held down and forcibly impregnated. 

It’s so wild you could be forgiven for wondering if the ladies doth protest too much; it almost looks like projected fantasy. Maybe it’s just an excuse to wear a theatrical costume and a pretty bonnet. 

The concept of “narcissistic reversal” is at play here. That’s when someone who is in the wrong reverses the truth and accuses an opponent of the bad thoughts or behavior that the accuser is actually doing. We see it among leftist women who (rightly) protest against the incursion of men into their private spaces. For example, the Biden administration is in power, and it is Biden who rewrote Title IX through executive order. His changes make it impossible for colleges to prevent so-called “trans women” (that is, men) from playing on women’s sports teams. And yes, that includes allowing these fully penised men into locker rooms. 

And despite their repeated accusations that “trans is a men’s rights project,” it is overwhelmingly leftist women who have culturally and legally enforced transgender ideology in American classrooms, in law, and in corporate hiring. 

With all that in mind, it should come as no surprise that most Democrats in the House voted against a bill to deport illegal aliens who rape women, and to refuse any convicted sex offenders into the country. 

While the bill passed, that’s no thanks to Democrats. So much for the party of women, eh? 

It’s a real head-scratcher. It has been so clear for so many years that conservatives, not liberals, want to protect women from sexual predation, yet millions of women continue to vote religiously for the very party that refuses to put up a wall between them and perverted men.

Former San Diego Sector Chief Border Patrol Agent Aaron Heitke testified before the House Homeland Security Committee, alleging that the Biden-Harris administration intentionally concealed the severity of the ongoing migrant crisis and the rise in terror-linked individuals crossing the U.S. southern border.

Heitke, who retired in the summer of 2023, accused the administration of trying to “quiet the border-wide crisis” through various measures, including the suppression of critical information and the redirection of illegal migrants.

During his testimony, Heitke revealed that while managing the San Diego sector, he was under constant pressure to release illegal aliens into local communities that were unprepared to support them. “I had to release illegal aliens by the hundreds each day into communities who could not support them,” Heitke stated, adding that administration officials devised a plan to move migrants to Texas to avoid media scrutiny.

“To quiet the problem, two flights a week were provided from San Diego to Texas,” Heitke explained. “These flights simply brought aliens that would have been released in San Diego over to Texas.” Each flight reportedly cost $150,000, which Heitke described as the administration’s way of downplaying the border crisis. “This was the administration’s way of trying to quiet the border-wide crisis,” he emphasized.

The most alarming aspect of Heitke’s testimony centered around what he described as a significant rise in the number of “Special Interest Aliens” (SIAs) — individuals suspected of posing national security threats due to their country of origin or terror group affiliations.

Before the Biden administration took office, Heitke noted that the San Diego sector typically apprehended 10 to 15 SIAs per year. However, this number skyrocketed to over 100 in 2022 and continued to grow in subsequent years.

“These are only the ones we caught,” Heitke testified, adding that more than 1.7 million “gotaways” have crossed the border undetected, with their terror affiliations or risks remaining unknown.

Heitke claimed that he was barred from discussing these increases in SIA arrests. “At the time, I was told I could not release any information on this increase in SIAs or mention any of the arrests. The administration was trying to convince the public there was no threat at the border,” Heitke said.

The former chief also revealed that he was directed to move over 2,000 migrants apprehended between the two U.S.-Mexico border fences out of sight of the media.
