Jeff Zeleny, Chief National Affairs Correspondent from CNN, appeared to slip up after the news broke that Joe Biden had granted his embattled son, Hunter Biden, a pardon for any criminal acts he partook in from 2014 to 2024.
These criminals acts included trading influence for cash, trafficking prostitutes, and being his father’s bagman.
🚨 NEW: CNN just ADMITTED Biden pardoned Hunter for ALL crimes for the past 11 years out of fear that his family would be investigated by the Trump administration
“We were told that this came to a head this weekend, and this is why President Biden decided now to do this. But as Isaac was just saying, that really is a sense of the conversation that has been going on really inside the family,” Jeff Zeleny said.
“I’m told this has been very much a family discussion and something that has been not widely shared or discussed as a policy matter inside the West Wing.”
“But there was a worry of future prosecutions or future the potential of what the incoming Trump Justice Department could do.”
“So that, of course, is fretted in all of this as well.”
“But for now, this moment, this certainly is a decision that President Biden, I’m guessing, did not come too easily,” he added.
“But as you played that statement before, so much has changed since June when he told David Muir of ABC News that he would not do that,” Zeleny continued.
“Of course, his station in life has changed. Did not complete his campaign.”
“So that is why, leading up to this, that’s why I’m told a decision was reached finally this weekend after spending time together in Nantucket.
Ellen DeGeneres home in England has reportedly flooded just weeks after moving abroad following the presidential election.
The former television personality moved to the U.K. in November after Donald Trump’s landslide victory over Kamala Harris. Both DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi were reportedly “very disillusioned” with American politics by Trump’s win, and immediately decided “to get the hell out.”
If only more Hollywood liberals would follow her lead.
Since moving to the Cotswolds, the couple had to bare the brunt of Storm Bert, which saw much of England subject to heavy rain and 80mph winds. The River Thames, upon which the couple’s 43-acre property is situated on, burst its banks as a result, causing their home to be flooded right after their move.

More concerned about thousands of survivors in NC and Tennessee without government aid surviving than I am with entertainers that can afford to recover
An Ontario town has been fined CA$10,000 (About $7,100 USD) for refusing to declare June as “Pride Month.”
The town of Emo, Ontario, was ruled to have violated the Ontario Human Rights Code in a decision by the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. Two councilors and the town’s mayor were also found to have violated the code.
Bizarrely, the town of 1,300 was found guilty of failing to fly “an LGBTQ2 rainbow flag,” even though Emo does not have an official flagpole.
The dispute has been running for some time between Emo and a group called Borderland Pride. In 2020, a draft proclamation by the latter was defeated 3-2 in a town council meeting, during which Mayor Harold McQuaker said, “There’s no flag being flown for the other side of the coin … there’s no flags being flown for the straight people.”
McQuaker’s remark was found to be “demeaning and disparaging” by Human Rights Tribunal vice-chair Karen Dawson, who fined the township $10,000 with McQuaker issued a $5,000 fine. Both the mayor and Emo’s chief administrative officer were also ordered to complete an online course known as “Human Rights 101” as part of the ruling.
Adding insult to injury, Borderland Pride said it would donate one third of the extorted money to the town’s local library, but only if the library hosted a drag queen grooming hour. You can read their full extortion letter below to see that this is nothing more than ideological motivated lawfare, the same sort that Colorado cake artist Jack Phillips has been the target of for over a decade.
Borderland Pride later replied to allegations that they bully towns and cities to bend to their will by stating that they love having that reputation.
Some on social media added additional insight into the bizarre case.
If you read the case its even worse then simply refusing. The judge considered comments made before the mayor voted nay meant that his nay vote was discriminatory. The case is insane.
Hollywood celebrities are expressing outrage after special counsel Jack Smith moved to dismiss the remaining federal charges against President-elect Donald Trump, following his victory in the 2024 election.
A number of high-profile stars took to social media to voice their alarm over the dismissal, with some claiming that the rule of law in America is under threat.
The dismissal of charges against Trump marks a major legal win for the president-elect.
On Monday, Smith filed motions in both the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, effectively ending the federal government’s prosecution of Trump.
The motions sought to dismiss the remaining election interference case against Trump and an appeal in the documents case, leaving just two cases at the state level in Georgia and New York.
This victory has sent shockwaves through Hollywood, with many celebrities expressing their dismay.
Mark Hamill, best known for his role in Star Wars, was one of the first to speak out, declaring, “Justice in America, in fact, does NOT matter.” Hamill’s post echoed his concern that the legal system had failed in the case against Trump.
Wendell Pierce, an actor from The Wire, also took to social media, warning of the potential end of the rule of law.
“No one is above the law is mythology,” Pierce wrote, emphasizing his belief that Trump’s legal battles were far from over despite the recent developments.
Jon Cryer, star of Two and a Half Men, also expressed his dissatisfaction with the outcome, claiming, “The evidence against Donald Trump is overwhelming and unrefuted.”
His post pointed to what he perceived as the unaddressed criminality in Trump’s actions, including charges related to the January 6th Capitol attack and the documents case.
The Evidence against Donald Trump is overwhelming and unrefuted.
In a similar vein, Barbara Streisand, a veteran actress and singer, posted on social media, lamenting that Trump had avoided accountability for his actions. “Trump avoided any accountability for January 6th and the stolen documents and this is forever a stain on the concept that no one is above the law,” she wrote, adding her voice to the chorus of celebrities expressing disappointment.
The wave of responses from Hollywood stars came after news of the dismissal broke, as many had been vocal in supporting the legal battles against Trump.
This included a months-long campaign cheering on the prosecutions, with various figures calling for consequences following his presidency.
Further adding to the public backlash, George Takei, the Star Trek actor, posted a photo from the federal raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, making a pointed comment about the documents case. “Only biological males with cakey orange foundation and 34 felony convictions may use this bathroom,” Takei wrote, referencing the former president in his usual sarcastic style.
Actress Mia Farrow also weighed in, expressing her disappointment with the legal outcome. “What a gut punch. Never again can it be said that ‘In America, no one is above the law,’” she wrote, underscoring her frustration with the direction the legal system had taken.
Many point to the high-profile nature of the case and the perception that it was driven by political motives.
The celebrity reactions continue to highlight the divide in American politics, with many in Hollywood vocally denouncing Trump’s legal victories while others celebrate his return to power.
With the federal prosecutions now concluded, Trump faces legal challenges at the state level. However, the latest developments have left Hollywood figures reeling, with some fearing the implications for the justice system in the U.S.
As Trump prepares for his second term, the backlash from the entertainment industry is sure to continue, with high-profile figures making their views known on social media.
The ongoing legal battles may shape the political landscape as Trump’s return to the White House approaches.
Frederick, Maryland, Mayor Michael O’Connor drew fire from Conservatives after announcing new plans to provide taxpayer-funded assistance to illegal aliens facing deportation under President-elect Donald Trump.
The new proposal flies in the face of Trump’s enforcement efforts to deport illegals.
The mayor plans to create a legal defence fund to support immigrants, covering legal fees footed by the Taxpayer.
O’Connor said the fund aligns with Frederick’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
However, many opponents of the plan questioned the use of taxpayer money for a politically motivated cause.
Mayor O’Connor responded to criticism, arguing that undocumented residents contribute to the local economy and community.

One local l immigrant advocacy group praised O’Connor’s plan, stating, “This fund will provide critical support for our community members who are unfairly targeted due to their immigration status.”
Opponents argue the fund prioritizes non-citizens over the needs of legal residents.
Local political activist Karen Thomas states, “While I sympathize with those in difficult situations, taxpayer funds should benefit Frederick’s citizens first. This decision is shortsighted and divisive.”
The proposals will be further debated in the upcoming city council meeting.
O’Connor also runs the risk of facing prosecution after Trump’s border Czar, Tom Homan, recently warned those planning to derail the new administration’s mass deportation plan would face jail time.
Homan warned that failing to comply with the deportation process would violate federal laws originally passed in 1952.
“There’s a clear line here, and they can’t cross a clear line,” the incoming border czar warned. “I would suggest she read Title 8, United States Code 1324 (iii) that says you can’t harbor or conceal an illegal alien from federal law enforcement.”
“There are certain laws in place that they can’t cross, and I hope she doesn’t cross it,” Homan reiterated.
Meanwhile, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) also warned that disrupting Trump’s deportation plans could result in removal from office.
“You know, I’m 100% supportive of going after the 15,000 murderers, the 13,000 sexual assault perpetrators, rapists—let’s send them on their way to prison or back home to another prison,” Paul asserted.
“The police understand the Fourth Amendment. They go to judges, get warrants, and ensure specificity. So, I’m for removing these people, but through the normal process of domestic policing.”
Paul described such actions as a “form of insurrection,” which could have legal consequences.
Wokeness continues to die in corporate America Walmart has announced it’ll be the latest to ditch their DEI policies in response to a conservative campaign on social media by Robby Starbuck.
Anti-woke campaigner Robby Starbuck shared the news on his X account, listing a range of woke initiatives set to be ended by Walmart.
MASSIVE news: Walmart is ending their woke policies. I can now exclusively tell you what’s changing and how it happened.
Last week I told execs at @Walmart that I was doing a story on wokeness there. Instead we had productive conversations to find solutions.
The Human Rights Campaign’s woke Corporate Equality Index has been scrapped from Walmart’s to-do list, while the corporation has also pledged to monitor marketplace sales to ensure inappropriate material is not targeting kids. Furthermore, it will get rid of its Racial Equity Center, which was established as a five-year project in 2020.
Supplier diversity programs will be evaluated to ensure “they do not provide preferential treatment and benefits to suppliers based on diversity”, while the controversial term Latinx will not be used in official communications going forward. Racial equity training through the Racial Equity Institute is out of the window, as is the term “DEI” itself.
“Remember, Walmart is the #1 employer in America with over 1.6 Million Employees and they have a market capitalization of nearly $800 billion,” Starbuck wrote on social media. “This won’t just have a massive effect for their employees who will have a neutral workplace without feeling that divisive issues are being injected but it will also extend to their many suppliers.”
For all the subscription services we face in this modern economy, my Starbuck subscription on X returns the most value and pleasure of all! Thank you, Robby! Your positive impact on society will be felt long into the future.
Oh, Scotland. You were once a kingdom celebrated in legend and song for your marauding men and bonnie lasses scrapping it out on the border with England as you fought to maintain your culture. Your border reivers were the forerunners of the outlaws and cowboys in the American West. You gave the world James I (of England), who gave the world the most revered translation of the Bible.
Now, you’re in court making asses out of yourselves. And for what? “Pregnant men” and “male lesbians.”
That’s right. There is a case before the Scottish Supreme Court right now to settle the issue of whether men and women actually exist, or whether bureaucrats with tick-boxes decide the biological reality of humans. Ministers from the Scottish National Party are donning their wigs to argue that there is such a thing as a male lesbian, and a pregnant man.
The dispute stems from a 2018 decision by the Scots government to define “woman” as “anyone living as a woman.” Astute readers will instantly see that this is a circular definition, therefore it is no definition at all. The feminist group For Women Scotland challenged this definition, sensibly arguing that it was irrational. The observe that the government cannot achieve its goal of equal participation by women in government if it cannot define what a woman is, and if it includes men in the category “women.”
Lawyers for the group are in the unenviable—and deeply stupid—position of explaining to judges that it is not “transphobic” to state “biological sex is real.”
Yes, Wokespy reader, it’s confusing even for this writer as I try to explain it to you.
The question before the high court now is whether to leave standing a government definition that says anyone, including men, who has a “gender recognition certificate” qualifies as a “woman” under the law. A GRC is sort of like a driver’s license for gender, except it doesn’t indicate anything real. Any man can rock up to the government and do some pro-forma blathering about how he “lives as a woman” and get a GRC.
The government’s witnesses will be there in court to argue that men can be women, and that men can be pregnant, and that women can be men. It is not clear whether they also believe the moon can be made of green cheese if it so identifies, but we will keep you updated.
Let’s see what X/Twitter users think of this farce.
I’m a lawyer by trade and have reverence for our legal system.
However, I couldn’t care less what the Supreme Court thinks about ‘what is a woman’.
It is a biological, not a legal question.
The Gender Recognition Act 2004, which created this legal fallacy, must be abolished.
My fingers are crossed. Let’s hope whom ever is sitting on the chairs that matter. Are not secretly wearing their wives underwear and go.. oh anyone can be a woman.
The people at Holyrood also know what a woman is. But they prefer to waste our taxes to gain Stonewall points than admit they are really stupid captured people.
A breakdown of the different demographics which shifted towards reveals the sheer scale of discontent towards the Democratic Party.
Not only was the election a blowout – it was a blowout in every demographic relative to 2020.
Traditionally Democrat voters and independent switched towards the GOP, often in 20+ point shifts in some cases when compared with 2012, when the neocon wing of the Republican Party was running the show.
Beginning with race, Black voters were still largely in favor of Kamala Harris with the Democrat enjoying a 72-point advantage over her Republican rival. However, that marked a historic 19-point drop in support compared to 2012. Donald Trump’s largest gain came among Hispanic voters with a 29-point increase, while he gained 17 points among Asian voters and those whose race was not categorized.
Trump increased the GOP’s standing with White voters without a degree by 13 points. Nevertheless, his gains among ethnic minorities was replicated when nonwhite college-educated voters were factored in, with a gain of 21 points. The biggest net shift in his favor came among nonwhite voters without a degree, 35% of whom voted Republican in 2024 compared to just 17% 12 years prior.
While Trump didn’t win over younger votes, he did make gains of 14 points in the 18-29 year-old demographic, and 8 points in the 30-44 demographic. He also gained 8 points in the 45-64 demographics, which he won in 2012.
Trump also gained net votes in every one of the 50 states – and the District of Columbia. In California the gain could top two million when all the votes are counted (and yes, they’re really still counting votes there).
Some on social media questioned whether the shift in support was as a result of discontent with Joe Biden’s administration.
I don’t think that the magnitude of the shift is anywhere close to what we see here, because a lot of people simply voted for Republicans due to their unhappiness with the Biden Administration. Things will move left again, but some of the rightward shift will definitely stick.…
Given that 2012-2024 was only a 6% shift overall, and most of these are double digit shifts towards Republicans, I feel like a chart of things that got better for Democrats would be helpful (I assume "less white electorate" is part of it, but there must be more to it than that)
The incoming Trump administration has said it will prioritize the 1.5 million illegal immigrants who’ve committed crimes — a figure that ignores the crime of crossing the border in the first place — and the 1.3 million immigrants whose asylum requests were denied, but who remained in the country anyway. Of course, all other illegal aliens will be deported – this is just the first phase.
A recent Rasmussen poll shows 64% of Americans favor the incoming Trump administration’s mass deportation efforts. The poll showed remarkable sentiments on illegal immigration across demographics, to boot: “78 percent of white voters, 74 percent of black voters, and 70 percent of Hispanics all agree it is important to stop illegal immigration. This includes 61 percent of Democrats, 90 percent of Republicans, and 80 percent of Independents.”
Reports surfaced this week of migrant caravans forming again, in order to reach the U.S. before then. Meanwhile, Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum is reported to be cooperating with Trump on the border after Trump reportedly wielded the threat of tariffs against Mexico.
GEICO has introduced a new mandatory training policy requiring employees to state their pronouns during customer interactions, a move that is part of the company’s larger diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiative.
The policy, which was rolled out in November 2024, aims to promote inclusivity and gender diversity in the workplace.
Under the new guidelines, employees are instructed to introduce themselves by sharing their pronouns during customer communications.
SCOOP: Employees at @Geico are being forced to complete mandatory training courses instructing them to provide their pronouns when engaging with customers and how to deal with being misgendered.
Yet another company pushing gender ideology nonsense. We the people want this… pic.twitter.com/rkBj7lJc63
For example, an employee might say, “I use he/him pronouns.” The company views this as an essential step in fostering a more respectful and equitable environment for employees and customers alike.
GEICO, a leading provider of auto insurance, has positioned this policy as part of its ongoing commitment to DEI efforts, which include a broader focus on supporting marginalized groups and promoting gender diversity within the company.
According to GEICO, the training and pronoun usage will help create a more inclusive and supportive environment for both employees and customers, encouraging respect for gender identities.
However, the initiative has been met with criticism from some quarters. Critics argue that the policy is unnecessary and intrusive, with many questioning whether it truly contributes to a positive work culture or whether it is merely another layer of corporate bureaucracy.
Concerns have been raised about the requirement for employees to correct customers who may misgender them during interactions.
Some employees have expressed discomfort, noting that this could lead to uncomfortable and potentially confrontational situations in customer service.
While the company maintains that the policy aligns with its mission of equity and inclusivity, the backlash highlights a significant divide on how DEI initiatives are perceived in the workplace.
Some see the policy as a necessary step toward ensuring all individuals, regardless of their gender identity, are treated with respect.
Others view it as a forced imposition on personal expression, arguing that it could disrupt workplace dynamics and customer interactions.
Despite the company’s commitment to the policy, it is clear that the implementation has sparked a broader debate about the role of DEI initiatives in corporate culture and customer service.
Many are questioning whether these initiatives, which focus on issues like gender identity and pronouns, are becoming increasingly pervasive and if they are truly beneficial to the work environment or if they could have unintended consequences.
BREAKING: GEICO Employees are being FORCED to complete mandatory training courses in introducing themselves WITH THEIR PRONOUNS to customers.
Did everyone forget that GEICO stands for “GOVERNMENT Employees Insurance Company”?
And did GEICO forget that DONALD TRUMP AND MAGA ARE…
As GEICO moves forward with its pronoun training, it remains to be seen how the policy will be received long-term, both by employees and customers.
The company has emphasized that the initiative is part of its broader mission to enhance diversity and support marginalized groups, but with some employees speaking out, it is clear that not all are fully on board with the new mandates.
For now, GEICO is standing by its decision, touting it as a necessary step toward building a more inclusive and respectful workplace.
