Oh, the Humanity! WaPo Columnist Jen Rubin’s Crackpot History

Oh, Jennifer.

Jennifer Rubin, the Washington Post columnist, has managed the neat trick that a faction of politicians have. Despite spilling almost all of her ink on how terrible-horrible-no-good-very-bad Donald Trump is, she’s still referred to as a “conservative.” Of course, it’s perfectly possible to be a conservative who doesn’t like Donald Trump. But when one appears to make a full-time job out of it, it’s fair to ask which side of the bread the butter is really on.

Rubin really put her foot in it on Twitter/X recently, but let’s start with her branding and presentation.

“Dissenting” seems to be a trend among American women this past decade. They’re dissenting in pussy hats against “patriarchy,” they dissent while beatifying the late Supreme Court justice Ruth Ginsberg, they put on Dutch maid costumes and dissent against abortion laws, as depicted here in a scene from the Texas statehouse this week.

This week, Jennifer is dissenting about the Supreme Court’s ruling on presidential immunity by lifting the histrionic line from Justice Sotomayor’s minority opinion.

Again, Rubin presents herself as a conservative for reasons unknown, but she’s plumping for the Biden-Harris ticket.

Ah, “our democracy.” The 2024 mating cry of middle-aged female leftists.

In one blast from the past, she got completely destroyed during an appearance on The O’Reilly Factor when she was pressed for evidence of her arguments by O’Reilly, leading to her flipping through pages of notes only to realize she had nothing of substance.

But this contribution on the Biden age issue takes the cake, where she attempts to make a Nazi analogy (how original) that backfired instantly due to people actually understanding history.

One almost feels bad for her (almost). Rubin is trying to mock those voting for Trump by making an analogy to the 1932 elections in Germany. But she has it backward—Germans voted for Hindenburg, not for Hitler, in 1932. She got “Community-noted” on Twitter—that’s when a number of people correct a misstatement. The correction appears along with the original tweet.

The fun is in the reactions.

You just knew someone would do this.

User KH wonders if Jennifer has had a tipple.

Children’s Television: Unsafe At Any Age

Things we never dreamed could even be imagined as satire are now part of “normal” in 21st century Western culture. We are to affirm that we believe men can be women. We are supposed to see the chemical and physical mutilation of children as “care.”

These are the most extreme expressions of our out-of-control narcissistic culture, but how did we get here? Slowly, drip by drip, so slowly that we barely noticed it as each step was taken.

Many of us remember watching Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood when they were new shows in the 70s. The brands became synonymous with the concept of wholesome, child-focused entertainment. And then came woke. Sesame Street introduced its first “non-binary” character (so-called “non-binary” people claim they are neither men nor women) and got glowing coverage for its efforts to confuse children.

Children’s show Blues Clues jumped on the woke train too, introducing the highly sexual ideas of “LGBTQ” to toddlers with a cartoon drag queen urging the kids to go march in parades.

It is no surprise, then, that children’s channel Nickelodeon is no longer safe for under 18s to watch – watch below to see it for yourself.

It’s now normal for a grossly obese man to put on Disney villainess makeup and croon to preschoolers about having “pride” about what “you are on the inside.” It shouldn’t be normal, but it is. And it’s no good saying, “Hey, I don’t think it’s normal!” Enough of society believes that blatant sexualized grooming of children on trusted children’s television is normal that that’s what we have every day.

Thankfully, a number of X/Twitter users don’t think it’s OK.

Paul asks a good question about the children’s network that has long been tainted by scandal.

Juanita shouldn’t have to say this, but thank goodness she did.

Adam reminds us that the worst thing that used to happen to kids on Nickelodeon was a bucket of green slime over the head on game shows.

Redwave Press thinks it’s about time Nickelodeon got the same comeuppance that Disney (another child grooming outlet) is starting to experience.

May Leisha’s prediction come true sooner rather than later.

Pro-Palestinian Student Kicked Out Of Family Home For Slacktivist Protest

Wars by their own nature are divisive.

They involve (at least) two sides who do not agree on something so significant that the best course of action is to kill those who hold a different outlook.

Of course, that definition is extremely simplistic. No two wars are alike, and there are often multiple contributing factors including the nature of governments, disagreements on territory, access to resources or even religious beliefs.

Conflicts end when there is a winner, or an agreement is reached between the warring parties.

They do not end because a faceless profile has put a Palestinian flag in their social media bio.

Israel’s war with Hamas has caused divisions far beyond the Middle East. Even in the United States, different family members hold different views on the conflict.

Pro-Palestinian leftists have been vocal in their slacktivist efforts. Flags have appeared in profiles, and McDonald’s has been boycotted (although the impact in the U.S. is somewhat limited).

Yet, unless they hop on a plane to Gaza in swathes and pick up a weapon, their meaningless gestures won’t make a blind bit of difference.

A student who uses the twitter handle “Donut_tweetz” shared a video of her own protest that proved that exact point. The footage came from her graduation, where she held up a bedsheet which is barely legible. She also muted the video, most likely as the audience in attendance disagreed with her anti-Israel view with either laughter or booes (or both).

Alas, she was ridiculed by thousands on social media.

And how did her parents react to her virtue signalling? Well…

I guess if her goal was to ruin her own life for no reason whatsoever, that mission was accomplished.

“I’m Guessing No One Will Want To Work There” – Democrats Slammed For Cringeworthy Recruitment Ad

Michigan House Democrats are advertising a role for its social media department with a cringeworthy video which suggests why there may be a vacancy in the first place.

The minute-long clip features a parody of The Tipton commercial from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (a reference I expect 1% of people to actually get).

Give it a watch for yourself – and try not to cringe too much (though to be fair, that’s probably impossible).

Applicants who are creative, have experience in social media or analytics, or “love a great work atmosphere” are encouraged to apply, although little is mentioned as to one’s ability to correctly format a video for X.

Successful applicants will enjoy the privilege of working in a not-very diverse office, and can enjoy exciting tasks such as meetings in oversized rooms and writing on whiteboards.

It’s good news for Doritos lovers too, with drawers stacked to the brim with savory snacks. Flavors, however, are somewhat limited.

In all honestly, the video is a painful watch.

Fortunately, it seemed that many agreed with the cringeworthy nature of the campaign.

Others disliked the video so much that they questioned whether anyone would want to work there…

…while another even thought it was creepy!

Michigan House Democrats are facing an uphill battle in their bids to usurp Republican nominee Donald Trump. The swing state has been in in the hands of the former president since September last year.

Given his apparent opposition, it’s safe to say that Trump would fancy his chances.

Eating Their Own: Woke Leftist Calls for Canceling Dylan Mulvaney for Not Supporting Women in Palestine

Leftist infighting is really kicking off lately. Democrats are at each other’s throats over Israel versus Hamas, whether men can be women, and, well, both!

LibsofTikTok found a video with over 10 million views of a very wound-up young woman from the UK who goes by the screename “kimberlyoffline.” She’s is furious at Dylan Mulvaney for failing to live up to proper womanly sisterhood – but not for any reasons anyone on the right would give (as we realize that’s impossible of course).

In addition to making her eyes as dramatic as possible, Kimberly is concerned with the ways in which Mulvaney is failing to “woman” properly. While expressing glee that people are finally trying to cancel Mulvaney, she then complains complaining that “this woman” (referring to Dylan) is like, a TOTAL hypocrite because “she” hasn’t said anything about the poor women in Palestine who have to use “scraps of tent” to deal with their periods. No, I’m not joking—watch for yourself!

For anyone out of the loop, Mulvaney has become famous for coming out as a “transgender woman” and launching an online series called ” 365 Days of Girlhood.” Starting out as an actor on stage, just four years ago Mulvaney was playing a character in the wildly popular Book of Mormon, the satirical musical by the creators of the cartoon South Park. Others may simply know him as the man who single handedly destroyed Bud Light.

Contrary to what this TikToker is saying, Mulvaney actually does donate all his profits from his Cameo videos to Save the Children, a Palestinian charity. Or as those in the sane world would frame it, Mulvaney donating to a nation that would have him killed for his lifestyle.

While Mulvaney has been a darling of the left, the left inevitably always eats their own eventually.

Naughty Ricky!

Based, electrician!

Mike Dodge thinks Kimberly is confused.

User Ovan Elric gets to the part that had us rolling our eyes. Wackadoodle lefties are so committed to their fairy tales that Kimberley can’t bring herself to acknowledge what everyone knows is true:

And there’s an Office meme for everything:

We have to give it to Dylan; he really puts the “shim” back in shimmy.

New York Democratic Candidate Suggests “Re-education Camps” For MAGA Supporters

A Democrat who is running for Congress sparked outrage after suggesting that supporters of Donald Trump should be sent to re-education camps.

Paula Collins, the Democratic candidate for New York’s 21st Congressional District, was addressing a public townhall held on Zoom when she made the comments.

“Even if we were to have a resounding blue wave come through, as many of us would like, putting it all back together again after we’ve gone through this MAGA nightmare and re-educating basically, which, that sounds like a rather, a re-education camp,” she said during the meeting. “I don’t think we really want call it that – I’m sure we can find another way to phrase it.”

Collins’ remarks drew criticism from social media users, with some highlighting the similarities to the barbaric regimes of dictators such as Adolf Hitler. In Nazi Germany, concentration camps which subjected millions of people to inhumane conditions, torture and often execution were described as sites of re-education by the Reich Ministry for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda.

Others likened Collins’ comments to Hilary Clinton’s suggestion of “deprogramming” supporters of the Republican.

Collins later clarified her comments to Fox News, stating that the country “would need to engage in widespread civics education”. Her comments came after Trump’s repeated criticism of the judicial system following his hush money trial in New York.

The Democratic cannabis tax attorney is hoping to defeat incumbent GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik at this year’s election in November. Stefanik was first elected to Congress at the age of 30 in 2014.

Heckled Harris: Leftist Banshees Call Veep a Murderer at Kimmel Taping

What would we do without Libs of TikTok? The account run by Chaya Raichik brings to light some of the most disturbing excesses of the modern left: gender ideology for children, violent men in women’s prisons and spaces, racist indoctrination of public school students, and more.

But LoTT also brings a chance for comic relief, like this video taken from the studio audience at a recent recording of Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show. Hold up—I know you’re already laughing at the mere sight of Vice President Kamala Harris but it gets better!

What we get is more than three minutes of hard-left women shrieking in cracked voices at Harris over “genocide.” The first harpy in the clip screams “15,000 children dead because of you!”

“You’re a murderer!” yells another.

The banshees got even more aggressive when onsite security tried to arrest them for disrupting the broadcast. With the now-familiar cri-du-Karen, the women told the guards they were not, in fact, under arrest, that they didn’t have to show ID, and that they were not to be touched. And then they physically attacked the security guard. To be fair, it’s not clear that security guards had the authority to arrest them, but this type would resist legitimate arrest anyway.

The left’s schism over the Israel-Hamas war was not on this writer’s 2024 bingo card, and it’s ugly. But at least there’s an opportunity for schadenfreude. Social media users are taking opposite sides on the actual issue, but one thing that unites them is the fun of the spectacle.

Disgraced Republican congressman George Santos who is totally-not-a-drag-queen is feeling it.

User Emergent Perspective reminds us that memes can say so much.

Maybe someone wants to buy this dude a beer for humorous truth-telling.

Jessenia asks a question we’re afraid we can’t answer.

Be sure to watch the video all the way through to watch the crowd of roly-poly rainbow-haired leftists screeching “from the river to the sea” outside the studio building.

Canadian Senator Becomes Living Meme To Promote Underage Voting

It had to happen, and it finally did. You know this meme. Everyone knows it. On an episode of the sitcom 30 Rock, middle-aged Steve Buscemi dresses like a teenaged skater boy to camouflage himself among high school students. He approaches a group of students and says, “How do you do, fellow kids?”

It’s become one of the most popular memes because it perfectly captures the awkward embarrassment of watching mom or dad try to be “down with the youth.”

One Canadian Senator apparently didn’t get the joke. Bernadette Clement of the province of Ontario acted it out on the floor of the legislature during a speech in support of allowing citizens younger than 18 to vote in elections. In case you didn’t know, that’s the latest leftist crusade, but don’t worry it’s absolutely nothing like past collectivist movements.

Here’s Senator Clement explaining the legislation in… “youth-speak”? Watch below if you’re ready to cringe:

She starts out speaking to “honourable fam.” She says “waiting until 18 to vote is a big yikes.” The youth brown-nosing continues as she describes teens as a group who “slays” and “stays bussin’”. That’s black American slang for “excellent,” apparently, or something.

As the young say, Clement’s performance is so “cringe” this writer can’t bear to transcribe any more for you, so you’ll have to watch it for yourself.

Let’s see what the internet had to say!

Clement’s pitch had the opposite effect on this user:

One MAGA user unkindly put it this way:

He has a point, we think.

User Roberto asks about the next logical step:

Sure, political moves like this are “funny” in a “I saw this mad thing online” kind of way, but this is actually a quite serious issue. User Johnny B. Goode says what leftists love to call “exaggeration,” but we’ve seen enough to think he’s right.

What say you about the voting age? 16? 12? Third trimester? Tell us below!

“The Oppression Olympics Standoff” – Video Shows Moment Pride And Palestine Protests Clash

The pro-Palestinian movement and the pride brigade are two of left-wing extremism’s fiercest components. What happens when those who ferociously support a state where gay rights are non-existent meet other leftists who are in their rainbow colors for the day?

Well, that question was answered on Sunday, June 2, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when a pride parade encountered a Free Palestine march, prompting the “oppression Olympics standoff” as one social media user put it.

The situation was handled well by the somewhat bemused cops in attendance and, against the wishes of some, the situation was resolved peacefully.

Many were quick to point out the clear differences between the two fractured elements of the Left.

It highlights the issue with left-wing extremists, who are determined to stand up and virtue signal for the issue of the day. Ultimately, supporting every cause that comes to mind leads to conflict sooner or later, with the two sides in Philly just looking silly.

As one social media user pointed out, we have a whole month of this. It’s currently day three…

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ridiculed For Student X Post

It’s not every day that you receive support from a foreign dictator.

For university students across America, however, that became a reality when Supreme Leader of Iran Sayyid Ali Khamenei told pro-Palestinian student protesters that they were “standing on the right side of history” in a post on Wednesday, May 29.

Image

Ali Khamenei’s X account is often a painful read; scrolling through his ramblings on X often makes one empathize with those who have spent decades trying to overthrow his authoritarian regime.

“You have now formed a branch of the Resistance Front and have begun an honorable struggle in the face of your government’s ruthless pressure,” he posted out four minutes later.

Needless to say, Ali Khamenei’s post drew criticism pretty quickly.

Iran’s Supreme Leader usually isn’t worth the time nor day in criticizing given the infamous iron grip he has held over the country for 1989. For a start, similar protests in his own country would likely result in death rather than arrest. Moreover, some who are supportive of the Hamas regime are perhaps unaware of the persecution that non-heterosexual individuals face in the country.

If anything hinders Ali Khamenei’s credibility, however, then it’s clearly his country’s lack of sporting success in college football!

What’s your view on the Supreme Leader’s X posts? Is he right in saying that student protesters in a foreign country are standing on the right side of history, or is here merely stirring the pot in an enemy nation? Let us know in the comments below.
