Harrison Butker Jersey Sales Boom After “Controversial” Remarks

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker is the latest public figure to face the wrath of cancel culture after his commencement speech at Benedictine College went viral.

His comments – which have prompted more than 170,000 people to sign a petition demanding his removal from the Chiefs – were labeled as “sexist” and “homophobic” by miserable leftists on social media.

In a speech aligning with Catholic values, Butker described abortion as “the murder of innocent babies”. He also claimed that Bishops were “misleading their flocks”, adding that the “chaos of the world is unfortunately reflected in the chaos in our parishes and in our Cathedrals too”.

His reference to “the deadly sin sort of Pride that has an entire month dedicated to it” sparked anger from LGBTQ+ activists, as did his belief that world leaders are “pushing dangerous gender ideologies onto the youth of America.” Furthermore, his claims that his wife Isabelle’s life “truly started when she began living her vocation as a wife and as a mother” were deemed sexist by some on social media.

The NFL has distanced itself from Butker’s remarks at the Christian campus, although he has received support from Tavia Hunt, the wife of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt.

It seems the kicker has also received support from fans as well, with his jersey now being the highest selling in the entire NFL.

Eric Kaufmann Warns of Cultural Crisis in Latest Book, “The Third Awokening”

Canadian professor and renowned author Eric Kaufmann has released his highly anticipated new book, The Third Awokening.

Professor Kaufmann, who was appointed as a professor of politics at the prestigious University of Buckingham in October 2023 after being hounded out of his previous role at Birkbeck, University of London, released his latest work on May 13, 2024, following the success of Whiteshift: Populism, Immigration and the Future of White Majorities.

In The Third Awokening, Kaufmann argues that progressive illiberalism and deculturation was powered by well-meaning liberals, rather than post-Marxist radicals. He claims that the Woke movement is a cultural revolution which can only be stopped by “drastic intervention” throughout institutions and culture.

The “Third Awokening” refers to the third wave of cultural-left ideological enthusiasm, each more damning than the last. Kaufmann argues that this has led to a crime wave, a worsening education system, an uncontrolled border and greater social division than ever before.

Kaufmann notes the growing discontent among young people towards conservative speech, highlighting that this demographic will be the median voters and employee in the not-too-distant future. Furthermore, the 54-year-old points to the differences between Woke cultural socialism and classical liberalism, showcasing how modern Left-liberalism focuses on a “majorities bad, minorities good” philosophy. This, Kaufmann argues, is powered by “liberal” emotional attachments rather than principles, thus underpinning a moral panic among White males across the West.

Claiming that today’s Woke extremism is a perverse extension of liberalism, Professor Kaufmann argues that the way to “break the grip of Wokeness in our institutions and schools” is through constitutional, government power. By doing so, society can steer tomorrow’s electorate towards neutrality and classical liberalism.

For this to be possible, the conservative and moderate majority must focus on culture and “spare no effort to win the battle of ideas”. Alas, Kaufmann presents a twelve-point plan for rolling back progressive extremism, which is detailed throughout The Third Awokening.

“We are in a cultural emergency,” said Kaufmann in launching the book. “The demise of Woke is greatly exaggerated; young people are much more Woke than their elders, and will be tomorrow’s median voter and institutional leader, transforming our culture in an illiberal direction.

“If we don’t reform education soon, it’s going to be game over for our traditional culture of expressive freedom and civic patriotism,” he added.

Reaction to the release has been largely positive given the interesting insight Kaufmann offers.

The Third Awokening is available to purchase in the United States and Canada. It is scheduled to be released in the United Kingdom on June 20.

Bernie Sanders Says There’s a “Health Crisis” Due To Lack Of Diversity in Doctors

Sen. Bernie Sanders has claimed that Americans from minority groups are facing a “health crisis” due to the lack of non-White doctors in the country. Apparently white doctors suddenly lose all competence when taking care of non-white patients in the eyes of Sanders.

The Vermont Senator and chairman of the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee called for a greater proportion of Black, Latino and Native American doctors, arguing that it would improve “health outcomes” for such groups.

“They’re more likely to receive preventative services; they’re more satisfied with their care; and they’re more likely to live longer and happier lives [when cared for by a doctor of their race],” Sen. Sanders claimed. He added that the average life expectancy for Black Americans was five years lower than White Americans, falsely implying that this is due to racism.

The reasoning is bizarre, and Sanders clearly never asked himself the obvious question that if there’s some sort of implicit bias in the medical industry, wouldn’t that also mean non-white doctors treat white people differently, which results in worse outcomes for them? Sanders only cares about racism (and in this case, alleged racism) in one direction, of course.

Sanders received widespread criticism for his remarks, with some calling out his “racist” comments, which seem to have been his focus in recent months given previous representations on the subject.

Nevertheless, it is hard to argue with the criticism leveraged towards the 82-year-old politician. Medical professionals have a greater sense of liability than most other professions, and so it is critical that the best doctors – regardless of skin color – are employed across the nation.

Former Diversity Program Manager Who Lived Luxurious Lifestyle Jailed For $5 Million Fraud

A former diversity program manager at Facebook and Nike has been jailed for stealing more than $5 million in a scheme involving fake vendors, made-up paperwork, and cash kickbacks.

Barbara Furlow-Smiles, 38, of Marietta, Georgia, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Steven D. Grimberg to five years and three months in prison, followed by three years’ supervised release. She was also ordered to pay $5,102,838.08 to the impacted companies, the bulk of which was to Facebook.

From January 2017 to September 2021, Furlow-Smiles led Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs at Facebook and was responsible for developing and executing DEI initiatives, operations and engagement programs. Her role at the company provided her access to company credit cards, and authority to submit purchase requisitions and approve invoices for authorized vendors of Facebook – a level of power she quickly abused.

The former DEI manager linked PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App accounts to her Facebook credit cards and used those accounts to pay friends, relatives, and other associates for goods and services that in truth were never provided to Facebook. The vast majority of the money was then returned back to Furlow-Smiles in cash.

Following her termination from Facebook, she worked as Senior Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for Nike from November 2021 to February 2023, where she was responsible for DEI initiatives including the Juneteenth event in New York.

Like her previous offences, Furlow-Smiles circumvented the vendor process at Nike to commit fraud, with expense reports falsely claiming that the payments were related to the Juneteenth event.

The 38-year-old stole almost $5million from Facebook and $121,054.50 from Nike to fund a luxurious lifestyle in California, Georgia, and Oregon.

U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Buchanan said Furlow-Smiles had “shamelessly violated her position of trust as a DEI executive at Facebook to steal millions from the company”. According to Keri Farley, Special Agent in Charge of FBI Atlanta, the social media giant put “an extreme amount of trust” in Furlow-Smiles “only to have that trust completely violated”.

Justin Trudeau’s Brother Claims Public Officials Were “Salesmen” For Pharmaceutical Industry During COVID

Kyle Kemper, the half-brother of Justin Trudeau, claimed public officials – including the Canadian Prime Minister – were “salesmen for the pharmaceutical industry” during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Kemper said his half-brother was “an amazing person” but added that “power in general” was being abused by the likes of Trudeau and President Joe Biden.

The fifty-minute interview began with a COVID discussion. Kemper told the former Fox News anchor that there was a “war on COVID” akin to the war on terror in the wake of 9/11. He also highlighted the constant “fear” around the virus before the persistent “hope” for the vaccine, claiming that “something [was] amiss”.

“And you see, all the sudden, public officials, like my brother, out there being effectively salesmen for the pharmaceutical industry,” Kemper said.

The father of five also criticized handling of counter information surrounding COVID. He explained how he was barred from Twitter for calling the jab “a fake vaccine” for its inability to completely stop transmission and infection after a “boasting tweet” by the Canadian Prime Minister about vaccination numbers.

Canada is set to hold a Federal Election before the end of 2024. Trudeau’s nine-year premiership is under threat from Pierre Poilievre’s rejuvenated Conservative Party, although Kemper believes his sibling is not seeking re-election given the “negative energy” in the country at present.

Following the interview, Kemper received compliments from social media users.

Ashley Biden Diary Authenticity Confirmed In Letter To Judge

Ashley Biden wrote a letter to the judge presiding over her stolen diary case to confirm its authenticity, sparking trouble for the President.

The 42-year-old daughter of Joe Biden wrote of “probably not appropriate” showers with her father in her diary, which was stolen and sold for profit from her home in Florida.

In April 2024, Aimee Harris was sentenced to one month in prison and three months under house arrest for stealing Biden’s diary which she sold to Project Veritas, a Conservative media outlet.

Prominent (for no reason whatsoever) factchecker Snopes, which previously said the revelations were “unproven”, has since amended its analysis to confirm its authenticity due to Biden’s testimony.

Moreover, some criticized the perceived double standards of the situation, questioning whether the mainstream media would be as silent if the President’s main rival was alleged of similar behavior.

Self-described “Woke” Judge And Progressive Activist Releases Accused Shooter On Bail Despite Video Evidence

A teenager accused of firing over two dozen rounds at a car in Washington D.C. was bailed by a self-described “woke” judge and progressive activist.

Lloyd U. Nolan, Jr., a magistrate judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, ordered the release of the teenager who had been accused of firing an AR-15 towards a car carrying four people.

Nolan’s Facebook account, which has since been set to private, featured examples of progressive activism, a pro-Black Lives Matter post and another boasting about being “woke”. Furthermore, the judge also shared a donation page to Gideon’s Promise, which is linked to progressive donor George Soros.

Defendant Amonte Moody was released from custody into house arrest despite prosecutors claiming that he had fire 26 rounds into a car driving on a public street in the Capitol. They have requested an emergency hearing for Wednesday, May 22, given the “egregiousness of this conduct” and the strength of the case, which includes video evidence.

Reaction on social media was largely critical of the judge, with many calling for his dismissal.

Another called for a “serious and massive overhaul” of the nation’s justice systems.

Furthermore, others noted the hypocrisy of the situation.

New Jersey Representative Humiliates Herself

New Jersey Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill told Donald Trump he was “not welcome” in the Garden State for his rally in Wildwood.

“Donald Trump, you’re not welcome in NJ. Because in the Garden State, we believe in democracy, we know that diversity is our strength, & we let women make their own healthcare decisions. Do us all a favor and go back to court,” she tweeted.

While much of his past month has been spent in a Manhattan courthouse, the former president addressed more than 80,000 supporters in Wildwood, and some estimates put the crowd size above 100,000. And that was blue New Jersey of all places.

Needless to say, Trump was more than welcome in the state.

While it may not have been the smartest decision to create such a post on X (formerly Twitter), it was perhaps equally mind-boggling that Sherrill left the post online. As of Tuesday morning, her announced banishment of Trump had amassed a mere 1,700 “‘likes”’” compared to the 19,000+ replies from dumbfounded observers.

Others called out the Democrat’s hypocrisy for her criticism over Trump’s stance on abortions given her silence on vaccination mandates in New Jersey.

Not the smartest move where the state’s motto is “liberty and prosperity”!

Liberal Claims Show Made in England in the 1960s Wasn’t Made for White People

Dr Who, the popular British sci-fi series first created more than 60 years ago, is the latest television series to go woke.

The series focuses on an extraterrestrial being, resembling a human, who fights nemeses across the universe. The majority of the 14 actors to play the intergalactic timelord have been white males with a female companion, with British actress Jodie Whittaker the first to buck the trend in 2017.

The most recent incarnation, however, features Ncuti Gatwa portraying a homosexual, black Doctor in what critics have labelled “virtue signaling” by Britain’s public broadcaster, the BBC.

The series premiere on Sunday, May 12, saw viewership reach record lows for one of the broadcaster’s flagship television programs. Perhaps the flamboyant dance scene featured in the show’s trailer was to blame.  

Nevertheless, the reaction from Metro columnist Asyia Iftikhar ensured the series stayed in the limelight. In an article originally titled “Sorry straight white men, Doctor Who was never made for you”, Iftikhar claimed that “bigoted straight white men” had spiraled into “meltdown” over the latest casting.

The headline was hastily amended following backlash, while Metro’s X account was deleted. It has since been revived, albeit with minimal branding.

Even those who offered a more favorable view of Gatwa’s character were critical of the article!

Toronto Police Superintendent Apologizes For Cheating Scandal in DEI Disaster

Toronto’s first black female police superintendent has suffered a DEI disaster having been forced to apologize for helping Black officers cheat on their promotional exam.

Appearing before a Toronto Police tribunal, Supt. Stacy Clarke said she was “deeply, deeply sorry” for the events which led to her disciplinary hearing on Wednesday, May 8. She explained she was “overcome with emotion and frustration” in her decision to provide six candidates with advanced notice of interview questions ahead of their promotional exams.

Clarke also admitted to conducting a mock assessment with a family friend featuring questions used in promotional interviews the previous week, with her lawyer describing his client’s “genuine belief and crushing epiphany” that the six Black candidates would be treated differently.

The Jamaican-born Canadian, who was part of the three-person panel which interviewed candidates in 2021, claimed it was “not the first time” that cheating during a promotional process had occurred.

Prosecutors are seeking a two-rank demotion to Staff Sergeant, while her defense team seeks a one-step demotion with the possibility to reapply for her current role in one year.

Reactions on social media were largely critical of the apparent DEI attempt. Some questioned whether diversity and equality helps to be a good police officer, while others raised concerns for minority officers who had earned their promotions through merit.
