“Why am I bringing this up? There were a bunch of Supreme Court wins yesterday for President Trump. Huge, you had the Supreme Court ruling on asylum, you had the Supreme Court ruling on temporary protection status for Haitians, Syrians, and others. You had a Supreme Court ruling about the Second Amendment. It was huge,” Bongino said.

He said he found it unusual that one of the immigration cases was litigated despite what he considered to be straightforward statutory language.

“It was a big day yesterday, but what was bizarre yesterday is that these cases are in court at all,” Bongino said.

Discussing Temporary Protected Status, Bongino referenced the law enacted in 1990.

“One of the cases about temporary protected status is very simply this: there was a was a 1990 law that said, due to a crisis, I think it was in South America, El Salvador, that we can bring some of these people here under temporary protected status for a limited period of time, was subject to like an 18 month or so review, and then after that they were either going to be sent back, or we would extend it again,” Bongino said.

He argued that the statutory language leaves little room for interpretation.

“But the word in there, TPS stands for what, Justin, temporary,” Bongino said.

Bongino emphasized that the word “temporary” carries an ordinary meaning.

“Now temporary to the non-imbecile class, i.e. the liberals and the media, wondering why, wondering why the United States is winning, and how we aren’t more puzzled by it, like you are the word temporary has a meaning,” Bongino said.

He added, “Let me define it by what it word temporary means, not permanent. This is not hard when you grant TPS, or temporary protected status. When they wrote the law in 1990 they meant it was temporary because they called it temporary protected status.”

Bongino also cited language in the statute that, according to him, limits judicial involvement.

“When the law was written to give temporary protected status to some of these folks from other countries to bring them here for a temporary amount of time, they specifically wrote in the law… that there is no judicial review of any determination with respect to the designation or termination or extension of a designation of a foreign state,” Bongino said.

He argued that this language means courts are not authorized to review those determinations.

“So, when they wrote in the law, no judicial review, that means no court action, that means you couldn’t bring it to the court,” Bongino said.

Turning to the Court’s asylum ruling, Bongino argued that the relevant statute likewise uses plain language.

“There was another Supreme Court case yesterday… written in the law, you have to arrive in the United States to claim asylum,” Bongino said.

He used a hypothetical example to illustrate his interpretation.

“Now, if I were to say to anyone who’s not a moron or a liberal in this case, you know, if I were going to claim my party favor by arriving at the party, it would mean you would have to arrive at the party where the party is. It doesn’t mean you can claim your party favor outside of the party, you’d have to arrive in the party,” Bongino said.

Bongino said the Court concluded that asylum applicants must first arrive in the United States before seeking asylum.

“So, Supreme Court ruled in a six three decision… that you do not automatically get asylum at the border, and what they, what Sam Alito said, is you have to arrive in the United States to get asylum, you can’t claim it from Mexico,” Bongino said.

He concluded by arguing that these disputes reflect a broader effort to reinterpret laws and language for political purposes.

“Folks. This is intentional. Yes, there are useful idiots, and a lot of them in this subsection of the Democrat party that wants America destroyed and is troubled by the United States’ success in the World Cup, they hate it. They want us to lose to Iran, they want us to lose to Turkey in the World Cup. They hate you, they hate this country and everything about it. They have shown their ass to you 1000 times,” Bongino said.

“Bongino, how would you define this communist threat?” Watters asked.

Bongino responded by saying that discussions about socialism are often hindered because, in his view, many liberals avoid confronting basic facts.

“Well, it’s tough because you know liberals are kind of allergic to facts,” Bongino said.

He encouraged people to research socialism using artificial intelligence tools or other resources.

“Whenever I ask him to, like, go on Grok or like Chat GPT and actually look up socialism, what it is,” Bongino said.

As an example, Bongino referenced an interview involving a Democratic senator from Delaware.

“You know, you get someone like, you know, the senator, the junior senator from Delaware was on CNBC, and Joe Kernan asked her the question, like, ‘Hey, you’re going to define socialism? She said, ‘I’ll get back to you another time,” Bongino said.

He also criticized television personality Donny Deutsch, saying the commentator acknowledged concerns about anti-Semitism but deferred discussing the issue.

“And then you got Donny Deutsch on MSNOW over there. I don’t know if you caught the key part of that clip, where he’s like, ‘Yeah, there’s an anti-Semitism problem on the left, we’ll get to that another day. Donny is probably a good idea to get to that now. I’m just saying this kind of sounds like a big problem,” Bongino said.

Bongino argued that many supporters of socialism have failed to educate themselves about what the ideology actually entails.

“Because socialism – the reason socialism remains popular with a class of generally stupid people, I don’t know any other way to say it – is because they just refuse to learn what it is,” Bongino said.

He then offered his definition of socialism.

“Socialism is the government control of the means of production,” Bongino said.

Bongino criticized arguments that equate public infrastructure or emergency services with socialism.

“So when you get a dunce cap, where like Joy Behar goes, like, you know, we built a road, and there’s like an ambulance, so we all love socialism,” Bongino said.

He argued that the proper question is whether the government actually owns and controls those industries.

“You should ask a question. Well, does the government control the asphalt business? Does the government control the construction of ambulances? Because if they don’t, then that’s not socialism,” Bongino said.

Bongino urged viewers to study the subject rather than relying on political rhetoric.

“Read a freaking book sometime, it doesn’t hurt, you know,” Bongino said.

He again referenced artificial intelligence tools as educational resources.

“They have Elon’s got the Grok thing, you can ask it a question, it will actually give you intelligence, like a surrogate brain, it does the work for you,” Bongino said.

Turning back to Joy Behar, Bongino argued that socialism continues to attract support because many people fail to examine its historical record.

“Joy, socialism is popular because it appeals to imbeciles who just don’t want to do their homework,” Bongino said.

He also maintained that socialism has never produced a successful governing model.

“There’s no successful example of it, because nobody wants to work to give their money to the government,” Bongino said.

Bongino concluded by referencing activist Daria Cheburkina, criticizing her political views and alleging that her organization supports the destruction of Western civilization.

“Even including Daria DAC Daria Chevalier, who supports through her group, as you accurately noted, the eradication of Western civilization, that’s your socialism,” Bongino said.

It was supposed to be another grandstanding moment for California Democrat Ro Khanna.

Instead, it became an embarrassing demonstration of political immaturity and ignorance broadcast live for the world to see.

During a House Select Committee on China hearing meant to address serious threats from the Chinese Communist Party, Khanna decided to attack a witness personally and accuse him of racism.

Unfortunately for Khanna, the “racist” he targeted turned out to be married to a Chinese woman and the father of four half-Chinese children.

The witness in question, Michael Lucci, is the CEO and founder of State Armor, a group that focuses on protecting national, cyber, and economic security.

Lucci testified before the committee about the risks of Chinese espionage, subnational influence, and the phenomenon known as birth tourism used by CCP-linked individuals.

This issue involves Chinese nationals giving birth in U.S. territories to secure American citizenship for their children.

Instead of discussing policy, Khanna launched into a bizarre, politically charged line of questioning, digging up one of Lucci’s old tweets to claim that criticizing the CCP’s birth tourism scheme was racist.

It was the type of shallow accusation that plays well on MSNBC panels but completely collapses under scrutiny. And collapse it did.

When Lucci pointed out that he is married to a Chinese immigrant who became an American citizen in 2019 and that his four children are half Chinese, Khanna’s race-card crusade came to a screeching halt.

The hearing exposed what happens when identity politics meets the hard facts of reality.

Khanna’s attempt to smear an expert witness backfired spectacularly.

Lucci later explained his response in detail, posting a blistering statement on social media that called Khanna’s behavior “self-immolation in committee.”

He wrote, “Ro Khanna owes the American people an apology. I have testified in 20 state capitols across the country. I have never seen a lawmaker embarrass himself like Ro Khanna did today.”

He further noted that Khanna had ignored real issues of Chinese interference, harassment of lawmakers, and threats against critical infrastructure, all to pursue a cheap headline.

Lucci was right to be frustrated.

The Select Committee on China is one of the most important panels in Congress, dedicated to addressing growing threats from the CCP. Instead of taking those threats seriously, Khanna hijacked the hearing to cry racism over a policy discussion that 75 percent of Americans actually agree with.

Polling shows a vast majority of voters oppose automatic citizenship for children of foreign tourists who come specifically to exploit our birthright laws.

Apparently, by Khanna’s definition, three-quarters of America are racists too.

The absurdity of the moment is amplified by context. Lucci’s testimony warned that Chinese-connected actors have been threatening state officials and targeting military sites.

He detailed specific concerns about birth tourism being exploited by CCP-linked elites as a tool of political warfare.

For Khanna to dismiss those concerns by playing racial politics proves exactly why Americans have lost faith in Democratic leadership on security matters.

It is also worth noting the sheer hypocrisy on display.

Khanna and his party often accuse Republicans of ignoring national security in favor of politics.

Yet here was Khanna, ignoring CCP interference in American life to chase imaginary racist conspiracies.

It was the kind of political theater that Democrats so often mistake for governance.

Lucci summed up the problem perfectly when he said, “Calling someone an anti-Chinese racist for opposing the CCP is like calling someone anti-Italian for opposing the mafia.”

That line resonated because it captured exactly how ridiculous the left’s race obsession has become.

Everything is racism, even opposition to a hostile foreign government that openly seeks to undermine the United States.

Instead of engaging with substance, Khanna chose spectacle.

What it does not need are politicians like Ro Khanna who turn every hearing into a circus.
