“Pennsylvania is where America’s story began, and there was no way we were going to let the Commonwealth go unrepresented during our nation’s 250th birthday celebration,” he said.

He reminded everyone that Pennsylvania is home to Independence Hall, the battlefields of Gettysburg, and a proud industrial backbone that helped power America’s rise.

Senator Fetterman also agreed, pointing out that celebrating Pennsylvania’s contributions to America’s history should be a bipartisan priority.

He joined McCormick in supporting an exhibit that highlights the state’s strengths in manufacturing, farming, small business, and innovation.

Asked whether people like her fit in Murphy’s “big tent,” the senator shrugged off the concern.

He said incrementalism had failed and welcomed a contest of ideas.

That might sound philosophical, but it is really an excuse to tolerate extremist views that the Democratic establishment is too scared to challenge.

Murphy’s defense of the socialist wave is revealing.

The Democrats once positioned themselves as champions of the middle class.

Now, their energy comes from activists who want to tear down every institution that keeps the nation stable.

The party’s leaders cannot control them, so they celebrate the chaos as creative energy.

This new “contest of ideas” amounts to a civil war.
