Robert F. Kennedy Jr. went on “The Ingraham Angle” Monday night and dropped another grenade into the long overdue reckoning over Dr. Anthony Fauci and the COVID years.

Kennedy, now serving as HHS secretary, said Fauci took the COVID vaccine in a highly public setting, then months later suffered what Kennedy described as a “pulmonary infarction.”

Kennedy told Laura Ingraham that Fauci misled the country on nearly every major pandemic fight.

“He lied about the capacity, as you just said, of the vaccine to prevent infection.”

The allegation centers on Fauci diary material released by Sen. Rand Paul, the Kentucky Republican who has been one of the few lawmakers willing to keep pulling on this thread while Washington would prefer everyone move along.

Paul released more than 1,100 pages of Fauci private diary entries ahead of Fauci Senate testimony.

Those pages have reopened questions about what Fauci knew, what he experienced personally, and what he decided the American people did not need to know.

Peter McCullough, writing on his Focal Points site, said internal records showed that on June 19, 2021, Fauci was dealing with an acute “pulmonary infarct” associated with a pulmonary embolism and was started on Eliquis, a blood thinner.

“Crucially, this health emergency occurred just months after his primary vaccination series,” McCullough wrote.

“Yet Fauci was not transparent with the public.”

To be clear, the diary entry itself does not state that Fauci pulmonary infarct was caused by the COVID vaccine.

Kennedy and McCullough are pointing to the timing and to the fact that pulmonary embolism and infarct were listed by federal health agencies among rare expected adverse events.

That distinction matters, but so does the larger issue.

If the man who became the face of pandemic medicine suffered a serious medical event after vaccination, while Americans were being told to shut up and comply, transparency was not optional.

Instead, the picture Kennedy paints is one of privilege for the ruling class and lectures for everyone else.

Fauci allegedly received top medical attention while millions of ordinary Americans were told their questions were dangerous.

A circulating image of a June 19, 2021 diary entry, labeled as released by Chairman Rand Paul, reportedly shows Fauci describing a pulmonary infarct found on a CT scan and a recommendation to begin anticoagulation with Eliquis.

The version posted publicly on Paul Senate website is redacted, while an unredacted image has spread widely online.

That alone guarantees more scrutiny, because Americans have seen enough redactions to know they usually hide the parts that matter most.

Kennedy said the diary entries reveal something powerful because they come from Fauci own writing.

“There’s something very dramatic, even for me, I’ve seen him (Fauci) write it in his own journal,” Kennedy said.

He described the entries as Fauci “Confessing to (you know) being wrong to lying about all this stuff.”

That is a stunning accusation, and it lands because so many pandemic era claims have aged about as well as a cloth mask in a rainstorm.

The country was told masks were science, distancing was science, school closures were science, and vaccine mandates were science.

Then the goalposts moved, the explanations changed, and the same experts demanded applause.

Fauci was not some background bureaucrat during all of this. He was the face on television, the voice from the podium, and the man treated by corporate media like a saint in a lab coat.

His guidance helped destroy small businesses, wreck children education, separate families, and keep loved ones apart in their final days.

Now his own diary entries are raising fresh questions about what he disclosed and what he kept quiet.

Recordings from his interviews with memoir ghostwriter Mark Zwonitzer, gathered during special counsel Robert Hur’s investigation, have now been released to the public.

The tapes come after a long legal fight by Biden’s attorneys to keep them sealed.

After months of resistance, the Biden team dropped its lawsuit seeking to block release, and a judge accepted that dismissal Monday.

The push to obtain the material came from Mike Howell, formerly of the Heritage Foundation and now with the Oversight Project.

Howell pursued the recordings and transcripts for more than two years through public records requests, arguing voters had a right to hear what Hur relied on.

The Oversight Project then published hours of Biden’s 2016 and 2017 conversations with Zwonitzer, who helped write “Promise Me, Dad.”

The audio shows Biden pausing often, speaking slowly, and struggling to recall names, dates, and events.

That matters because Hur’s report described Biden’s conversations as “painfully slow” and said he was “struggling to remember events and straining at times to read and relay his own notebook entries.”

The tapes appear to back up that description in uncomfortable detail.

Oversight Project Vice President of Litigation Jeff Clark told Fox News Digital, “Joe Biden didn’t want these tapes to come out. But now they have.”

He added, “There is no joy in Bidenville today.”

Clark also said, “Robert Hur’s and Merrick Garland’s decision to give Biden a free pass for keeping and disclosing classified information must now be reexamined.”

That is exactly the question hanging over this whole episode, especially after years of Democrats pretending classified document rules only apply to their political enemies.

Hur investigated Biden’s handling of classified materials from his time as vice president under Barack Obama and as a U.S. senator from Delaware.

He declined to pursue criminal charges, saying prosecutors could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Biden willfully retained or disclosed the material.

Hur also wrote, “Mr. Biden’s memory was significantly limited, both during his recorded interviews with the ghostwriter in 2017 and in his interview with our office in 2023.”

That line was widely discussed when the report came out, but hearing the recordings gives it a sharper edge.

In one recording, Biden warned Zwonitzer while discussing a 2014 Situation Room meeting, “Some of this may be classified, so be careful.”

He then added, “I’m not sure. It isn’t marked classified, but….” That is not exactly the kind of casual aside that inspires confidence.

Another clip from April 24, 2017, shows Biden struggling to remember two economic advisers.

“I’ll think of his name,” Biden said, before adding, “I should write the names down because I keep forgetting them.”

Zwonitzer eventually supplied the name Alan Krueger after a long pause. For a man who spent decades selling himself as the smartest foreign policy adult in the room, the moment is not flattering.

The same day, Biden appeared unable to recall where he had been on a particular date.

He later remembered attending a memorial service for a fallen service member, but the name still escaped him.

Biden also circled back to a meeting with Ron Klain, saying, “But at any rate, back to there was I had a meeting with Ron Klain, and I don’t know when.”

“When he, when he came to me and I’ll get the date. Remind me when did Summers come to me to have lunch to it was when I was thinking about running.”

Later, Biden said, “Here’s what happened, before I forget. Don’t mind my train of thought. He also pledged to support me in 2016.”

The political problem for Biden and his defenders is obvious.

For years, Americans were told concerns about his mental sharpness were cheap shots, right wing noise, or edited clips, yet here are recordings from before his presidency showing the very issues critics raised.

His bout with childhood polio continues to be a significant factor in his mobility,” the statement read.

McConnell also confirmed he will not attend this year’s Fancy Farm picnic, a major Kentucky political tradition.

For a senator who has spent decades as one of the most powerful figures in Republican politics, missing such an event only adds fuel to the conversation.

The latest photo follows an earlier “proof of life” image released this month as speculation grew around McConnell’s extended disappearance from public view.

“I found these records which are talking about blackmail by China,” Herridge said.

“It was for President Biden’s daily brief. I can conclude, I think, that it was probably about targeting his family.”

Herridge made clear that the issue was available to anyone willing to look.

She pointed to an instant message from senior FBI counterintelligence official Nikki Floris that Herridge described as evidence of a “shadow government” inside the bureau.

Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin told Herridge that in August 2020, around the same time the Chinese influence operation was being suppressed, Floris gave him and Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa a defensive briefing.

Johnson believes that briefing was presented as being about Russia, but was really meant to steer the senators away from the Hunter Biden laptop and prepare the ground for calling it disinformation.

That matters because the laptop was not a minor campaign sideshow.

It contained material raising serious questions about the Biden family’s foreign dealings, including the kind of connections and money trails that responsible journalists once claimed to care about.

Instead, Americans got the usual establishment routine.

Big Tech throttled the story, media outlets dismissed it, intelligence veterans helped frame it as foreign trickery, and the same crowd now demanding trust from the public acted shocked when Americans stopped believing them.

Herridge also spoke with a senior member of former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s investigations team.

According to that account, some officials inside the intelligence community believed they knew better than Trump and needed to manage what he saw.

“They had to save President Trump from his own instincts, from his own tendencies,” Herridge said.

Herridge displayed papers marked “DRAFT” and referenced an email reportedly tied to FBI Foreign Interference Task Force Lead Nikki Floris.

The message allegedly stated, “I am basically running a shadow government inside the FBI right now.”

Herridge then asked the obvious question. “Is there a shadow government?”

“There’s certainly people who believe that they are the adults in the room, and they’re here to make sure that the political leaders that are in charge, we can’t let them do anything too crazy. We’re here to make sure we temper their worst tendencies,” Erdman replies.

According to Erdman, that resistance showed up in multiple ways during President Trump’s time in office.

He pointed to opposition inside the system to Trump’s election integrity efforts and to attempts to shape or soften what made it into the President’s Daily Brief, especially when the subject was China.

That is not a minor paperwork dispute.

The President’s Daily Brief is supposed to give the president the clearest intelligence picture available, not a curated narrative from officials who think Trump cannot be trusted with facts they find politically inconvenient.

Erdman said there was hesitancy in the system when it came to confronting China while Trump was in office.

Given the Washington establishment’s long record of treating Beijing like an investment partner instead of a hostile communist regime, that claim lands with a lot more weight than the usual media fact check crowd will want to admit.

The China angle also brings to mind retired Army General Mark Milley, the former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

According to the book “Peril,” Milley privately assured Chinese General Li Zuocheng near the end of Trump’s first term that the United States would not strike China without advance warning from him.

“General Li, you and I have known each other for now five years. If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time,” Milley purportedly said.

“It’s not going to be a surprise.”

For normal Americans, that sounds less like steady leadership and more like a bureaucratic class deciding it can freelance foreign policy when it dislikes the man elected by the country.

In any sane capital, that kind of conduct would trigger serious accountability, not cable news praise and book tour rehabilitation.

Erdman also defended then Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, saying she was one of the few officials willing to pursue real intelligence community reform in line with Trump’s directives.

“I think she’s (Gabbard) the only one who actually conducted IC reform and did exactly what President Trump was asking her to do,” he said.

That matters because the permanent class in Washington does not fear speeches, press conferences, or strongly worded letters.

It fears reform, exposure, and losing the ability to bury information until it is politically safe.

The election interference issue only makes the story more explosive.

Newly declassified documents and recent statements from Trump have pointed to Chinese Communist Party access to personal data connected to roughly 220 million American voters.

Trump has alleged that intelligence collected by the FBI in 2020 was buried by rogue officials, and that it included claims about China trying to manufacture illegal ballots for Joe Biden.

“Raw intelligence obtained by the FBI in 2020, yet buried by rogue bureaucrats, stated that China’s activities even included an attempt to manufacture illegal ballots for Joe Biden,” Trump said.

He also cited the alleged FBI message at the center of this growing scandal.

“Another official inside the FBI wrote that she was running a ‘shadow government’ to keep intelligence about China’s election meddling from becoming known.”

The media will do what it always does when the deep state gets caught with its hand in the machinery.

It will pretend the story is too complicated, too old, too partisan, or too dangerous for ordinary Americans to understand.

But the issue is painfully simple.

If unelected officials inside the intelligence community are blocking, massaging, burying, or slow walking intelligence because they dislike the president voters chose, then the constitutional order is being replaced by bureaucratic veto power.

Erdman’s account does not sound like a theory anymore.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s City Hall has taken its class warfare act from campaign slogan to searchable database, publishing the names and addresses of New York City property owners who could be hit by the state’s new second home tax.

The city Department of Finance uploaded a list that claims to identify unoccupied, nonprimary residences across the five boroughs valued above $1 million.

It includes the full names and addresses of the owners, effectively putting thousands of wealthy New Yorkers on public display for the sin of owning property in a city that already taxes nearly everything that moves.

The database follows a widely mocked post from Mamdani on X, where the mayor warned affluent residents to “check your mailbox when you’re back in the five boroughs, because you’ve got mail,” referring to notification letters headed their way.

“The best city in the world deserves the best parks, libraries, and schools in the world. That’s only possible when we all pay our fair share,” Mamdani wrote Thursday.

That phrase, fair share, has become the left’s favorite magic spell.

Somehow it always translates to government taking more money, spending more money, and then acting shocked when taxpayers start looking for the exits.

Mamdani, a self styled socialist favorite of the progressive crowd, has long supported the second home tax approved by Gov. Kathy Hochul and Albany Democrats.

The levy targets city residences that are not used as primary homes, a policy sold as a way to squeeze revenue from wealthy owners who supposedly are not contributing enough.

Critics have warned the tax could hammer property values and chill investment in a market already burdened by sky high costs, red tape, and political hostility toward owners.

In other words, Albany Democrats may once again discover that punishing success does not magically create prosperity.

City Hall claims the tax could bring in about $500 million a year for the Big Apple budget.

Democratic City Comptroller Mark Levine’s office has offered a less rosy estimate, placing the figure closer to $340 million to $380 million, with the possibility that revenue could shrink over time.

That is the part progressives never like to discuss.

When government builds budgets around soaking a targeted group, that group tends to adapt, relocate, sell, or stop investing.

Mamdani has made clear that this is not a one time money hunt.

Earlier this year, he threatened to raise city property taxes by a staggering 9.5% unless he was allowed to tax the rich to help close a budget hole first pegged at $12 billion and later revised down to $5.4 billion.

That little revision alone should make taxpayers nervous.

If City Hall can misjudge a budget gap by billions, perhaps handing politicians another pile of cash is not the grand civic solution they pretend it is.

The mayor is now moving forward with his broader campaign promise to pull more money from rich New Yorkers to fund a sweeping redistribution agenda.

The problem for regular families is that these schemes rarely stop with penthouses, vacation apartments, and people with names in glossy magazines.

Since taking office, he has backed roughly $23 billion in taxes, a number that ought to send a shiver through anyone still trying to afford rent, groceries, insurance, or a mortgage in New York.

The Post also reported that Mamdani is pushing a months long pressure campaign for even more state tax hikes, including measures aimed at city property owners.

That means the second home tax may be less of a finish line and more of a preview.

Publishing a searchable database with names and addresses raises obvious privacy concerns, especially in a city where political rhetoric against the wealthy has become increasingly aggressive.

It is one thing to debate tax policy, but quite another to put a public target list online and dress it up as fiscal fairness.

For the left, though, this is the governing model.

Identify a villain, publish the receipts, demand more money, and call anyone who objects greedy.

New York’s leaders insist they are protecting parks, libraries, and schools.

Yet residents have heard these promises for decades while city government grows larger, services remain uneven, and taxpayers are told the next tax hike will finally fix everything.

Mamdani’s database is a blunt message to property owners that City Hall knows where they are and wants a bigger cut.

For a city already struggling to keep taxpayers, businesses, and families from fleeing, that is quite a gamble.

The political class may cheer another tax on the wealthy today.

Tomorrow, when the bill spreads wider and the revenue fails to match the sales pitch, ordinary New Yorkers will be left wondering how yet another progressive experiment became their problem.

Sen. Bernie Sanders defended the progressive wing of the Democratic Party during an interview with CBS News’ Margaret Brennan, pushing back on criticism from longtime Democratic strategist Rahm Emanuel and arguing that voters across the country are rejecting the party’s establishment.

The exchange centered on Emanuel’s contention that progressive messaging is hurting Democrats politically. Brennan asked Sanders to respond to Emanuel’s criticism.

“He’s saying those are losing messages that are going to hurt the party overall,” Brennan said. “How do you respond?”

Sanders dismissed Emanuel’s position and suggested it reflects the priorities of Democratic insiders rather than rank-and-file voters.

“That is what that is what Rahm Emanuel is saying, who no doubt has the support of millions of working class people,” Sanders said.

According to Sanders, the divide is between party leaders he says rely on wealthy donors and a growing progressive movement seeking major policy changes.

“You have an establishment like Rahm Emanuel, who are dependent on billionaire campaign contributors and want to maintain the status quo,” Sanders said. “Then you have a progressive movement.”

Sanders argued that recent political developments demonstrate growing support for progressive candidates and policies in several states.

“What is getting these guys nervous is we are winning all over this country,” he said. “It’s not only Mamdani in New York City, is in New Jersey. It’s in Ohio. It’s in Colorado.”

He contended that dissatisfaction extends beyond Democratic voters and includes frustration with both major political parties.

“People are sick and tired of the Rahm Emanuels, and the Democratic establishment and the Republican establishment,” Sanders said.

Sanders said many Americans are asking why the United States has not adopted a universal healthcare system similar to those in other developed nations.

“They are asking simple questions, Margaret,” Sanders said. “Why, in God’s name, are we the only major country on earth not to guarantee health care to all people as a human right?”

He continued, “Pretty simple question. Canada does it. Europe does it. Somehow we can’t do it.”

Sanders also pointed to wealth inequality, citing businessman Elon Musk as an example.

“Why do we have an economy in which one man, Mr. Musk, owns more wealth than the bottom half of American society?” Sanders asked.

He also questioned whether future generations will enjoy the same economic opportunities as previous ones.

“Why do the economists tell us that in the richest country in the history of the world, our kids will likely have a lower standard of living than their parents?”

Sanders argued that growing economic frustration is fueling demands for sweeping political and economic reforms.

“The American people are tired of a rigged economy, a corrupt campaign, finance system,” Sanders said.

He concluded by arguing that voters are seeking fundamental change rather than preserving existing political leadership.

“They want real change,” Sanders said. “They don’t want Rahm Emanuel and the establishment maintaining the status quo.”

The Democratic Socialists of America are not exactly hiding the ball anymore.

In a Fox News interview, DSA co chair Megan Romer acknowledged that the group’s platform includes abolishing borders, granting amnesty to illegal immigrants, and eliminating prisons.

That is not a conservative fever dream or some overheated campaign ad.

That is the agenda, stated plainly, from one of the people helping steer the socialist movement now trying to drag the Democratic Party even farther left.

Romer said the DSA platform also calls for defunding the Pentagon, abolishing the Senate, replacing the presidency and the Supreme Court, and abolishing United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

For a movement that loves to lecture America about democracy, it sure seems eager to tear down nearly every institution voters still recognize.

The border plank alone should make every sane American stop and take notice.

Open borders and mass amnesty are not immigration policy, they are an invitation to erase national sovereignty and reward lawbreaking on a grand scale.

For years, conservatives have warned that the activist left does not merely want softer immigration laws.

It wants a country where borders are treated as offensive, enforcement is treated as cruelty, and citizenship becomes little more than a paperwork inconvenience.

Now the DSA is saying the quiet part out loud.

Abolish borders, abolish ICE, and hand amnesty to illegal aliens, then expect working families to smile while communities absorb the cost.

The prison plank is just as revealing. Abolishing prisons may sound fashionable in faculty lounges and activist meetings, but in the real world, criminals do not vanish because progressives change the vocabulary.

Families dealing with rising crime, repeat offenders, and soft on crime prosecutors have already seen what happens when ideology outruns common sense.

The DSA response is apparently to go even further and remove the very institutions designed to separate dangerous people from the public.

Then there is the Pentagon.

Defunding America’s military while hostile regimes are testing the limits of American resolve is not brave or visionary, it is reckless.

China, Russia, Iran, and every terrorist network on earth would love nothing more than a weakened Pentagon and a political class too busy chanting slogans to defend the country.

The DSA platform would make America less secure while pretending moral superiority is a defense strategy.

The call to abolish the Senate is another window into the movement’s mindset.

When institutions stand in the way of radical goals, the answer is not persuasion, compromise, or winning over voters, it is demolition.

That same attitude appears in the desire to replace the presidency and Supreme Court.

The left has spent years raging at the Court when it refuses to rubber stamp progressive priorities, and the socialist answer is apparently to scrap the structure rather than respect constitutional limits.

This is the difference between reform and radicalism.

Reformers try to improve systems, radicals try to raze them and hope something better magically rises from the rubble.

The problem for Democrats is that the DSA is not some distant campus club with no relevance to real politics.

Its ideas keep moving into the bloodstream of the modern left, especially in deep blue cities where the activist class sets the tone and elected Democrats scramble to keep up.

That is why these admissions matter.

The platform is not simply a wish list, it is a preview of what the left’s loudest faction believes government should become.

Republicans would be foolish not to make voters hear every word of it.

In swing districts and working class communities, there is no great hunger for open borders, abolished prisons, a gutted military, and a constitutional system tossed into the shredder.

The DSA may dress its agenda in activist language, but the substance is brutally clear.

Tear down the border, empty the prisons, defund national defense, dismantle key institutions, and call it progress.

Most Americans still believe a country should have borders, laws, courts, a military, and consequences for crime.

If that now counts as extremism to the socialist left, then the political contrast for the next election just became very easy to explain.

The records were released by Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Rand Paul, R Ky., just days before Fauci is set to testify before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee after being subpoenaed by Paul.

The diary details Fauci’s daily role during the pandemic through meetings, calls and personal notes, showing how quickly public health policy turned into a mix of politics, television management and celebrity culture.

For Americans who remember the lockdown years, the entries add another layer to a familiar story.

The experts lectured the country about sacrifice while Washington insiders and media favorites appeared to orbit one another quite comfortably.

Early entries show Fauci describing a warmer relationship with President Donald Trump than many might expect.

Fauci wrote that Trump repeatedly sent questions his way during White House meetings and called him “the smartest person in the world.”

Trump also told Fauci, “We are counting on you,” according to the diary.

Fauci later wrote that Trump appeared “enamored” with him as his national profile exploded during the pandemic.

That relationship did not stay smooth as the pandemic dragged on.

Fauci’s notes describe mounting friction inside the White House, especially with then White House chief of staff Mark Meadows.

Fauci wrote that Meadows threatened to keep him off television and pushed him to soften his public messaging.

In one entry, Fauci described Meadows as “screaming” over comments Fauci had made in public.

The diary paints then White House communications director Alyssa Farah in a much more favorable light from Fauci’s perspective.

In a May 2020 entry, Fauci said Farah admitted White House staff had been “holding me back” and that the situation had “gotten out of hand.”

According to Fauci, Farah promised to begin approving his television requests again.

In Washington, access to a camera can apparently become its own form of oxygen.

Other communications figures did not fare as well in Fauci’s private notes.

Fauci took sharp aim at then HHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Michael Caputo, accusing him in crude terms of publicly backing his media appearances while privately blocking them.

The diary also shows how deeply television journalists figured into Fauci’s pandemic world.

CNN anchor Jake Tapper appears repeatedly in the entries through calls, texts and even dinners at Tapper’s Washington home.

Fauci wrote that Tapper privately checked whether a CNN interview had caused trouble for him with the White House.

When The Atlantic’s Peter Nicholas suggested Fauci had been “humiliated” over a canceled Tapper interview,

Fauci responded with a blunt and vulgar dismissal in his notes.

Then there is the celebrity parade. Julia Roberts hosted Fauci on Instagram Live, sent him flowers and later presented him with an award, while Anna Wintour, Trevor Noah, Steph Curry, Sean Penn, Matt Damon and Lil Wayne all show up in the broader Fauci orbit.

The diary reads at moments less like a public health record and more like a guest list for the political class during crisis mode.

Americans were told to stay home, stay quiet and trust the science, while the science was apparently fielding celebrity messages.

The final notable cameo comes from the 2022 Kennedy Center Honors.

Fauci wrote that he hugged Hunter Biden, who joked the internet “would explode” if someone photographed them together because they were both “being attacked by the far right GOP.”

Paul’s release lands as Fauci prepares for another round of scrutiny on Capitol Hill.
