The Abandon Harris campaign gathered in Dearborn on Wednesday for “a great announcement” with Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein. “Our demands were simple,” director Hassan Habdel Salam said, flanked by supporters toting “Abandon Harris” and “Abandon Genocide” signs. “A permanent unconditional ceasefire, and a full arms embargo.”

Salam detailed how the campaign repeatedly reached out to President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and the Democratic Party to understand the concerns of Muslim and Arab voters disgusted with the current administration’s handling of Hamas’ war against Israel. “Again and again, silence from the (Biden-Harris) administration,” he said.

The situation culminated with an endorsement of Stein on the eve of Hamas’ Oct. 7 that sparked the ongoing conflict, and Wednesday’s press conference to explain why the campaign opted for a third-party endorsement. “As we went through the campaign, the White House sent their surrogates and a message from the president telling us that we were experiencing a tantrum,” Salam said. “And today that tantrum is a mountain as we set course.

Elon Musk has stepped up to help Americans once again by announcing Starlink is working with cell phone carrier T-Mobile to help Florida‘s victims of Hurricane Milton.

More than n 10K Starlink kits have been activated for cell satellite service.

The connection will allow those affected by the storm to contact loved ones and emergency services.

Sharing platform Reddit has removed a popular forum that focuses on the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.

The “Thomas Crooks” subreddit was banned for supposedly violating Reddit’s rules against posting violent content.

The assassination attempt against Trump occurred on July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania, which ended with the death of Thomas Crooks by Secret Service snipers.

The shooting has now become one of the most historical events in United States history and will likely be discussed for years to come, but not on Reddit.

Reddit’s decision to ban the topic has raised concerns about its limits on free speech.

The now-defunct subreddit had been a hub for users seeking answers and sharing information about the incident, The Post Millenial’s Katie Daviscourt reported.

Discussion on the forum ranged from speculation about potential Secret Service security failures to theories of it being an inside job.

Unsurprisingly, Reddit has failed to provide specific examples of the offending material for the ban.

It’s the kind of story that calls up musical numbers like “Anything you can do, I can do better!” Or maybe the apocryphal quote from Ginger Rogers is more apt, the one about doing everything Fred Astaire did, but “backwards in heels.”

What kind of footwear was Commander Yvonne Gray wearing when she scuttled a $100 million New Zealand battleship? What, if anything, was she doing backward? 

The British lesbian (we’re assured this characteristic is super-very-important in military exercises) was on her first ship command at the helm of the HMNZS Manawanui when the vessel went down on Saturday October 5. The ship ran aground on a reef off the coast of Samoa and caught fire. The crew saw smoke that morning at about 6:30, and by 9 a.m. local time the Manawanui had slipped beneath the surface of the ocean. All of the 75 crew aboard were rescued. 

The New Zealand Navy has started an investigation, of course, but it will take time to figure out all the factors that went into the ship’s loss. 

Commander Gray is said to have been inexperienced, and many people are calling her a diversity hire. Now, there’s nothing about being a lesbian that automatically signals “unfit to command a ship.” But it is true that unqualified people have been placed in senior positions of government and corporations over the past several years because they ticked a diversity box: woman, gay, trans, not-white, etc. This is just plain true, and everyone knows it. 

Indeed, much hoopla was made about Gray’s ascension to command—she’s a former teacher whose dream was to open a restaurant—as a “queer woman.” Here’s just one example of the exuberant, gushing, and dare we say, feminine, praise of women in the New Zealand military simply because they are women. 

Even if the investigation determines that Commander Gray acted appropriately and was not responsible for the $100 million disaster, it’s not going to be possible to stop tongues wagging. People are so fed up with incompetent minorities being elevated to positions of power, while competent people are called “racist” and “bigoted” for pointing it out, that no one has any rational reason to trust investigations that find no fault. After all, these agencies and military branches are obviously hiring to fill diversity quotas; why would anyone believe a word they say? 

It’s already starting on social media.

A North Carolina mayor has slammed Vice President Kamala Harris for lying about FEMA efforts to assist residents following the catastrophic hurricane Helene.

Newland Mayor Derek Roberts, whose daughter’s house was destroyed by the hurricane, revealed she was denied the $750 FEMA payment.

“My daughter, whose house got completely wiped out – she has no flood insurance – meets with a FEMA person, applies for everything, doesn’t get the $750 that Kamala says she’s supposed to get. Gets approved for $300 for personal items. What is that gonna do?” Roberts asked in outrage.

More than a week after the storm made landfall, officials are still struggling to keep up with relief requests.

According to Blaze TV’s Glenn Beck, who spoke with FEMA sources, officials are more interested in shutting down makeshift helicopter rescue runs than helping stranded residents.

“Her entire first floor is literally wiped out,” Roberts continued as he described his adult daughter’s ordeal.

“Everything hauled everything off. So where is FEMA?”

The news comes as hurricane Milton heads towards Florida.

On Wednesday, Joe Biden announced plans to delay overseas travel, appearing to acknowledge the political damage being done to Harris and Democrats.

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) said the Secret Service was denying former President Donald Trump full protection while trying to hide it from the public.

During an appearance on FNC’s “Hannity,” the Missouri Republican warned that the USSS is engaging in a deceptive cover-up to hide their level of protective service for the Republican nominee.

“[S]enator, what are we learning here because I know from people around President Trump that they have repeatedly requested more security and they have been denied again and again and again and again,” host Sean Hannity said.

“Why would they do that?” Hannity asked.

“You know, Sean, it sounds like he’s still not getting the security that he’s been promised, and here’s what this new whistleblower says,” Hawley replied.

“He says that investigators are now not allowed to come to all the Trump rallies because if they did, they would see that Trump is not getting the full presidential protective detail.”

“He’s only getting it selectively. So the allegation is Secret Service leadership is now saying to its own internal investigators, no, actually wait, don’t don’t come to that event,” Hawley continued.

“Come to this one over here. And they’re trying to conceal the fact Trump is still not getting the full levels of protection.”

“I don’t know why they’re doing this, Sean, other than that they don’t want the public to know the truth.

“And I tell you what, I’ve had enough of this from Secret Service leadership. I really have,” he added.

“They need to level with the American people about what’s going on here.”

“They need to tell us if Trump is really getting all the security he needs.”

“These rallies need to be safe for everybody who goes to them, and I’ve had enough of the prevarication of the concealment and the stonewalling. It’s got to stop.”

In August, Hawley shared shocking new details about the catastrophic failures of the Secret Service, which led to the assassination attempt against Trump at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Hawley noted that these brave agency whistleblowers came forward because they were terrified that this would happen again.

Last month, a Secret Service whistleblower revealed that would-be assassin Ryan Wesley Routh had inside information on the security vulnerabilities at Donald Trump’s West Palm Beach golf course.

Routh was able to set up a sniper’s nest with a perfect range just roughly 300 yards from Trump.

Senator Josh Hawley wrote in a letter: “A whistleblower with direct knowledge of Secret Service protection of former President Trump’s golf course in West Palm Beach — an individual who has in fact protected President Trump at that very location — alleges that there are ‘known vulnerabilities’ in the fence line surrounding the course: places that offer a clear line of sight to the former president and others playing at the course.”

Michigan Republicans scored another legal victory last week when a Michigan Court of Claims judge ordered Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson to clarify incomplete election guidance. Last month, the Republican National Committee filed a lawsuit against Benson over improper guidance to local election officials that instructed clerks and election inspectors to process and count bail ballots with missing stub numbers.

On Oct. 3, Judge Brock Swartzle ordered Benson to revise page 7 of her “Election Inspectors’ Procedure Manual” that states “without exposing any votes, the election inspector should verify that the number on the ballot stub agrees with the ballot recorded for the voter in the (Qualified Voter File) Absent Voter List.” The passage, Swartzle ordered, “shall be revised” to read, “Without exposing any votes, the election inspector must verify that the number on the ballot stub agrees with the ballot number on the face of the absent voter return envelope.”

During a hearing in the case, Benson conceded that ballots with mismatched serial numbers could be the result of voter fraud, and the RNC “applauds the finding by the Court requiring … Benson to follow Michigan law requiring ballot number matching,” RNC Chairman Michael Whatley said in a statement.
