Gov. Newsom Backtracks, Defends California’s Radical Transgender Policy

California Governor Gavin Newsom has backpedaled and defended his state’s radical left transgender policy. The Golden State has numerous appalling transgender laws, including one that prohibits school districts from requiring teachers to notify parents when their children choose a different gender than the one assigned at birth based on biological sex.

Previously, Gov. Newsom had stated that allowing transgender athletes in women’s sports was “deeply unfair” and that Democrats should own and acknowledge it, adding that the “issue of fairness [in sports] is completely legit.”

Appearing on HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, Gov. Newsom started on the right foot by describing his party as “judgemental” and “toxic” and urging it to mature on trans issues.

However, Maher called him out for the role he has played in entrenching the radical-left transgender ideology in California and nationwide. On July 15, 2024, Newsom signed the Support Academic Futures and Educators for Today’s Youth (SAFETY) Act or AB1955, which is one of a kind nationally.

It prohibits teachers from notifying parents without the child’s consent or requirement by law when the student changes their gender, uses facilities designated for the opposite gender, or participates in activities traditionally associated with the opposite biological sex.

“What do you say to people who say, ‘Well, this all sounds very good. But governor, you were the poster boy for a lot of this [woke] stuff’?” Maher asked.

Referring to Trump’s criticism of California’s law that prohibits teachers from reporting students’ gender identity changes, Maher said the Republican Party had managed to convince many Americans that it was the most reasonable option.

“That’s the kind of thing — even though it doesn’t affect a lot of people — that makes a lot of people go, ‘Well, you know what? That’s the party without common sense.’”

Like a true Democrat, Newsom misrepresented the facts by claiming that teachers were fired for failing to report students’ gender identity issues. However, it introduces additional legal requirements for teachers to inform parents of any gender identity changes, thus making it riskier for them to report. Teachers are now more likely to lose their jobs or face additional legal consequences for reporting gender changes, essentially silencing them.

“I just disagree with that. I mean, the law was you would be fired, a teacher would be fired if a teacher did not report or snitch on a kid talking about their gender identity,” he claimed. “I just think that was wrong. I think teachers should teach. I don’t think they should be required to turn in kids.”

Despite Maher’s attempt to set the record straight, Newsom rumbled on relentlessly to reinforce the false narrative and drown out the facts.

“What is the job of a teacher? It’s to teach. If Johnny’s talking about some identity issue or some issue about liking someone of the same sex, is it the teacher’s job to then report that?” Newsom asked. “In this law, the teacher can still do that. But they can’t be fired if that’s not what they do. I just think that was fair. I don’t think that’s inappropriate.”

Meanwhile, Newsom faces a political dilemma where adopting a commonsense approach to trans rights could cost him the primaries, while doubling down could cost him the election, like Kamala. The California governor had already acknowledged that trans rights was a losing issue, and Kamala’s reluctance to address them infuriated him more.

“It was devastating,” Newsom lamented. “And she didn’t even react to it, which was even more devastating.”

Meanwhile, the Department of Education is investigating California for violating parental rights under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which guarantees parents access to their children’s records.

“It is not only immoral but also potentially in contradiction with federal law for California schools to hide crucial information about a student’s wellbeing from parents and guardians,” Education Secretary Linda McMahon said.

EXPOSED: Historic Biden Cognitive Decline Cover-Up Scandal Details Surface

A new tell-all book, Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House, continues to expose shocking details about Joe Biden’s declining health during his re-election campaign.

The book sheds light on several troubling incidents, including one where Biden’s handlers had to use fluorescent tape on the floor to prevent him from wandering off during a speaking engagement, just days before the 2024 election.

In one particularly concerning moment, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) encountered Biden, only for the former president to seemingly fail to recognize the congressman.

U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., talks with community members after a Working Hero Iowa event on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019 at the Public Library in Iowa City, Iowa. 190218 Swalwell 012 Jpg

According to the book, Swalwell had to remind Biden of who he was, even providing personal details to jog his memory.

While Swalwell may not be the most high-profile politician, he had been a visible figure within the Democratic Party for over a decade, having met Biden several times.

The incident, however, was not reported at the time, as the priority for Biden’s inner circle was to maintain the cover-up.

As the book continues to reveal, Biden’s physical decline was also masked in public appearances.

One of Biden’s former aides disclosed that a makeup artist was used to hide the toll his deteriorating health had taken on his appearance.

These efforts, including using makeup for Zoom calls, became necessary as Biden’s condition worsened.

This effort to cover up his physical decline gained more attention after an incident at the G7 Summit, when Biden wandered off during a photo-op.

Conservative outlets like RedState were quick to report the incident, only for the White House and mainstream press to accuse them of spreading “cheap fakes.” Despite the cover-up, these troubling details are now coming to light.

Jill Biden, however, remained fully supportive of her husband’s re-election bid.

According to the book, she was “a thousand percent” behind his campaign, regardless of the mounting concerns about his physical and cognitive state.

“At the end of the day, I don’t think anyone in that inner circle was presenting the president any contrary advice that this thing is not going to be easy or maybe this is not the best thing for the Democratic Party,” a source close to Biden’s campaign said.

Jill Biden’s unflinching support comes as little surprise to those familiar with her time as First Lady.

Her tenure has been marked by ambitious moves and a lifestyle seemingly centered around enjoying the high life funded by taxpayers.

However, she was not the only one driving the push for re-election. Many of Biden’s top advisors were equally invested in maintaining their positions of power.

The book describes the scene in the White House as a kind of “Weekend at Bernie’s” situation, with Biden’s inner circle reportedly deceiving the American people to protect their own interests.

It wasn’t until Biden’s disastrous debate performance that the public began to question the viability of his re-election campaign.

Despite the growing body of evidence concerning Biden’s decline, the media and political insiders continued to downplay the situation.

Administration officials frequently assured the public that Biden remained mentally sharp and fully capable of serving another term.

They brushed off his occasional stumbles as simple mistakes, even though his public gaffes were frequent and alarming.

The reality, however, is that Biden’s cognitive decline was far more severe than they were willing to admit, and by 2024, many wondered why he was still being allowed to attend public events at all.

While the release of tell-all books like Fight provide insight into the behind-the-scenes cover-ups, there is frustration that no one involved will face any consequences.

Questions linger about why figures like Rep. Swalwell didn’t speak out at the time, or why Biden’s staffers weren’t held accountable for their role in perpetuating the deception.

Many of these staffers have already moved on to new positions, despite their involvement in what could be the biggest presidential scandal of modern history.

As these revelations continue to unfold, one can’t help but wonder what else has been concealed—and what will be allowed to slide under the radar in the future.

Charlie Kirk Unconvinced Man in Baby Doll Dress is Actually a Woman

Imagine if you will a future in which our descendants still have something like history books. This is not a foregone conclusion, so don’t get over-confident. It’s very plausible, even likely, that those who come after us will not have anything analogous to what we call “history books.” What we mean by that is something like, “An accurate written record of past events that cannot be digitally changed on the sly.”

Look what’s happened already to the concept of the encyclopedia. Thirty years ago, people still bought bound and printed volumes. The printed words on those pages are the same today as the day the books were printed. Not so the online Wikipedia. After the initial infatuation with the gee-whiz technical advancement of an always-updated-online-encyclopedia wore off, we saw what was really going on. Taken over by hard-left ideologues, Wikipedia regularly edits or deletes entries that tell facts about the real world if those facts make the Wikipedia editors and staff have sad feelings.

That’s why we have to imagine a future where some form of un-editable historical record is still available. So let’s assume that it will be. What will people think when they look back on the approximately 10-year period (2015 to 2025) when the West lost its mind and stopped believing in the reality of male and female sex? When formerly normal people believed the claim that there are “transgender children” who were “born in the wrong body” and who “need” mutilating “sex-change” surgeries?

Unless our future selves are too far gone, they’re going to react with horror and laughter. They might react that way to this display, a conversation between conservative commentator Charlie Kirk and a fat, unkempt man in a baby doll costume and a beard telling Charlie that he is a “woman.”

Listen to that man. Look at him, take it in, and then listen to what he says.

He insists to Charlie Kirk that it’s merely “common courtesy” to refer to lunatic, ugly men in female fetishwear as if they were actual, real women. It’s extraordinary. This is the kind of thing no human has ever heard spoken by another outside a mental institution until this current era.

Onlookers frequently say something like “bring back insane asylums” with a slightly humorous air. But there’s nothing to laugh about. This behavior is, quite literally, exactly what lunatic asylums were made for. That is, in actual fact, where people like this belong.

Let’s see how X/Twitter users reacted.

So far there aren’t many takers for the idea of living in permanent Backwards Day.

Trump, Musk, and DOGE Score a Big Win in Federal Appeals Court

A federal appeals court ruled Friday in favor of the Trump administration, extending a stay that allows the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to continue its operations at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

The decision was made following a ruling from a federal judge in Maryland last week, which found that efforts to halt USAID functions were likely unconstitutional and ordered the reinstatement of the agency’s operations.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump are pictured speaking at the ‘Make America Great Again Victory Rally’ at the Capital One Arena in Washington.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Richmond, Virginia, issued a temporary stay, blocking the judge’s order that had prohibited DOGE from working with USAID.

The court’s action also prevented biopharmaceutical executive Jeremy Levin from leading the agency. Friday’s decision extended that stay until the appeal is fully resolved.

The legal battle stems from a lawsuit filed by a group of 26 current and former USAID employees or contractors, who allege that the Trump administration unlawfully canceled government contracts, placed USAID personnel on administrative leave, and took actions that dismantled the agency.

The plaintiffs argue that these actions violated the U.S. Constitution’s appointments clause, claiming that Elon Musk served as DOGE administrator without proper appointment.

Additionally, they contend that the dismantling of USAID infringed upon Congress’ responsibilities, as detailed in court documents.

In response to the claims, the Trump administration denied any wrongdoing, asserting that Musk served as a senior advisor to the president and that the actions taken at USAID were carried out under the direction of Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who served as the agency’s acting administrator.

Rubio designated Peter Marocco as the deputy administrator, and in line with President Donald Trump’s executive order, USAID created an internal DOGE team led by Levin, according to court documents.

The administration argued that the actions taken by USAID were within the discretion of the agency and the president’s authority to direct foreign policy.

Furthermore, it maintained that the actions were legal and did not violate the Constitution.

Despite the administration’s defense, the district court granted the employees and contractors’ request for a preliminary injunction.

The injunction blocked DOGE from operating at USAID, as the court found that the Trump administration was “likely” in violation of the Constitution, with the pause deemed to be in the public interest.

The court later clarified that Levin, who had led the USAID DOGE team prior to the injunction, could no longer serve as the chief operating officer at USAID, and denied the administration’s request for modifications to the ruling.

The Trump administration appealed the district court’s preliminary injunction and the denial of its motion for clarification or modification.

It also filed an emergency motion seeking to stay the injunction pending the appeal.

The appeals court’s ruling on Friday was a significant victory for the Trump administration.

Judges Arthur Marvin Quattlebaum Jr. and Paul V. Niemeyer stated that Musk and DOGE had made a “strong showing” that they were likely to succeed on the merits of the appeal.

The judges also determined that the administration would face “irreparable injury” if the stay was not granted, and that the public interest was served by extending the stay.

Friday’s decision marked the third win for the Trump administration at the federal appeals court level.

As the case continues to develop, the legal battle over the future of DOGE at USAID and its potential impact on the agency’s operations remains ongoing.

GOP Bill Seeks to Cut Off NPR and PBS: “Taxpayers Shouldn’t Fund Propaganda”

GOP Bill Seeks to Cut Off NPR and PBS: "Taxpayers Shouldn't Fund Propaganda"

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) introduced a bill to fully defund NPR and PBS during a viral congressional hearing this week, calling the taxpayer-funded outlets “propaganda machines for the radical left.”

The move came after a House Subcommittee on Government Efficiency hearing Wednesday, where NPR CEO Katherine Maher was brutally grilled by GOP lawmakers for the outlet’s deep-seated liberal bias while taking taxpayers’ money.

Jackson’s bill—titled the “No Partisan Radio and Partisan Broadcasting Services Act” or the “NPR and PBS Act”—seeks to eliminate federal funding for both NPR and PBS.

“Hardworking Americans are sick of footing the bill,” Jackson told Fox News Digital.

“It’s time to cut them off and stop forcing taxpayers to pay for their liberal lies!”

“Though NPR and PBS were originally founded to produce non-biased, informational, and educational content, the outlets have since turned into taxpayer-funded propaganda machines for the radical left,” he added.

During the hearing, Maher struggled to answer questions from Rep. Michael Cloud (R-TX), who grilled her on NPR’s decision to ignore the Hunter Biden laptop story during the 2020 election.

Maher admitted, “NPR acknowledges we were mistaken in failing to cover the Hunter Biden laptop story more aggressively or sooner.”

Watch:

The hearing also highlighted NPR’s coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic after Cloud noted the network’s early dismissal of the lab leak theory.

Maher responded:

“We recognize our reporting at the time, but we recognize that the new CIA evidence is worthy of coverage and have covered it.”

The grilling came in the wake of revelations from former NPR senior editor Uri Berliner, who was suspended in 2024 after publishing an essay accusing the network of censoring dissenting viewpoints.

Berliner’s piece soon became a rallying cry for critics who say NPR and PBS are no longer fit for taxpayer support.

Meanwhile, President Trump responded to the hearing, saying he would be “honored” to see both NPR and PBS shut down and blasting them as “very unfair” and “very biased.”

“They spend more money than any other network of its type ever conceived, so the kind of money that’s being wasted, and it’s a very biased view, you know that better than anybody,” Trump previously said.

“And I’d be honored to see it end.”

Jackson’s office echoed Trump, describing NPR and PBS as a “messaging arm for woke, radical Democrats.

University of Michigan Ditches DEI — Cites Trump EOs, Potential Loss of Federal Funding

The massive diversity, equity, inclusion complex is out at the University of Michigan, thanks to President Donald Trump.

“Conversations about (DEI at UM) have been ongoing since at least 2023 and, with recent federal executive orders, guidance and funding cuts bringing urgency to the issue, we are moving forward with changes that will impact our community at the University of Michigan and Michigan Medicine,” UM President Santa Ono and other officials wrote in a statement to students, faculty and staff on Thursday.

The announcement cited Trump executive orders on DEI, a Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals decision upholding enforcement of those orders, and a Dear Colleague Letter from the Department of Education last month that highlighted the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2023 decision striking down race-based affirmative action.

UK Moves Further From Christ As School Cancels Easter Service

artplus from Getty Images

A primary (elementary) school in the United Kingdom cancelled its upcoming annual Easter Bonnet Parade and Easter Service because those in charge of the decision want to show “respect for diversity,” according to The Christian Post.

Headteacher Stephanie Mander’s decision to ignore the extremely important Christian holiday and celebration has been met with immense backlash from parents and online, with the school being branded as “disgraceful,” the outlet reported. “By not holding specific religious celebrations, we aim to create a more inclusive atmosphere that honors and respects the beliefs of all our children and their families,” Mander was quoted as saying.

Many are now questioning whether Mander will now be canceling Christmas, as her decision flies in the face of the school’s existing policy, apparently. Easter, Christmas, Eid, Diwali are “marked and celebrated together,” the school’s website states, according to TCH.

School Already Requires Improvement

The school received a generally “good” report from its September inspection by Ofsted, but “outcomes for children and learners” apparently required improvement. It is currently unclear how canceling traditional celebrations will aid in the education of the students at the school, particularly as Bible sales are soaring amongst young people in the UK, GB News wrote in another report.

Screenshot/GB News

Mander has also apparently instituted a new policy to “celebrate” other experiences. “One of the ways we will be celebrating inclusivity is by taking part in Refugee Week, which occurs in June, as well as beginning our journey to become an accredited School of Sanctuary,” the letter apparently reads, suggesting the curriculum is now moving to educate children about why the refugee crisis instead of Christianity or faith.

When one man shared a post about the cancellation, he received huge backlash online, so much so that he apologized for ever asking anyone’s opinion on the issue, according to a local news outlet. “Funny how we are expected to respect all the minority festivals and pride days but not allowed the majority of BRITISH festivals are now being diluted in respect of others just proves how second class citizens we are in our own country,” wrote one person wrote in the comments on a Daily Mail news report on the issue.

EXPOSED: Wisconsin Supreme Court Candidate Caught Red-Handed Making False Claims

Fair Elections Wisconsin (FEW), a grassroots election integrity organization, has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Susan Crawford, the Democrat-backed candidate for Wisconsin’s Supreme Court, demanding she stop making false claims about her Republican-backed opponent, Brad Schimel.

Dane County Judge and Wisconsin Supreme Court Candidate Susan Crawford speaks to reporters after the Newsmaker Luncheon Hosted by the Milwaukee Press Club, WisPolitics and Rotary Club of Milwaukee at Milwaukee County War Memorial Center on Tuesday March 4, 2025 in Milwaukee, Wis.

The letter, dated March 7, 2025, accuses Crawford of violating Wisconsin’s judicial code of conduct by spreading misleading statements during her campaign.

Crawford, a Dane County Circuit Court Judge, is running against Schimel, a Waukesha County Circuit Court Judge, in what has become a heated race for a seat on the state’s highest court.

Wisconsin Supreme Court candidate and Waukesha County Judge Brad Schimel, left, makes remarks at a roundtable discussion at the Wisconsin GOP Hispanic Community Center, February 27, 2025 in Milwaukee.

The election has drawn significant attention due to its potential to shift the court’s balance, with the current majority consisting of four liberal justices to three conservatives.

The cease-and-desist letter, sent by FEW President Justin Gavery, claims that Crawford has made multiple false statements about Schimel’s record as Wisconsin’s Attorney General, particularly regarding the handling of rape kits and abortion laws.

Gavery states that Crawford’s actions are a violation of Wisconsin’s Code of Judicial Conduct, which prohibits judicial candidates from making false or misleading statements about their opponents.

“Judicial candidates, including incumbents and challengers, must refrain from making false, misleading, or deceptive statements,” Gavery’s letter reads.

“The Wisconsin Code of Judicial Conduct explicitly prohibits judicial candidates from knowingly misrepresenting any fact concerning themselves, their opponents, or matters relevant to the campaign.”

According to the letter, Crawford falsely claimed that Schimel ignored rape cases during his tenure as Attorney General and failed to address a backlog of thousands of untested rape kits.

Gavery refuted these claims, stating that when Schimel took office in 2015, there were approximately 6,000 untested kits.

By the end of his term, Schimel’s office had tested all the kits in need of testing, and a process was put in place to prevent future backlogs.

In addition to the claims about rape kits, Gavery also disputes Crawford’s assertion that Schimel supports the 1849 abortion law, which criminalizes most abortions in Wisconsin.

Gavery stated that Schimel has repeatedly stated he holds no position on abortion and believes such laws should be decided by public referendum or legislative action, rather than by judicial fiat.

Crawford’s campaign also allegedly misrepresented Schimel’s stance on voter suppression, accusing him of supporting such practices, which Gavery claims is untrue.

Furthermore, Crawford and her supporters have accused Schimel of being “soft on crime,” but Gavery refuted these claims, pointing to a specific case where Schimel’s office had sought a harsher sentence for a convicted child pornographer, but the judge did not impose the recommended sentence.

In the letter, Gavery demanded that Crawford cease and desist from making any further false statements and warned that failure to comply would result in further legal action.

“Please stop and desist from any further contact with others, public or private, until you have reviewed the above matters and you can verify that they are truthful statements. The people of Wisconsin deserve nothing less,” Gavery’s letter concluded.

As of Monday, March 10, 2025, Gavery stated that he had not received any response from Crawford’s campaign, and she continues to make the same false claims about Schimel.

The race between Schimel and Crawford has become one of the most expensive and closely watched elections in Wisconsin, with early voting already underway.

A recent poll by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce showed the race to be deadlocked, with both candidates tied at 47% among likely voters.

The election is significant not only because of the potential to shift the ideological balance of the court, but also because of the large sums of money flowing into the race.

Election spending has already surpassed $81 million, with projections suggesting it could reach $100 million by Election Day.

Schimel has raised over $12 million, including $6 million from the Wisconsin Republican Party, while Crawford has raised over $25 million, including contributions from progressive figures such as billionaire George Soros and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker.

As the race enters its final stretch, both candidates are working hard to secure votes, and the false claims made during the campaign will likely remain a point of contention.

With more than 345,000 voters already casting their ballots, nearly 48% more than at this point in the 2023 election, the stakes are high for both sides as they approach the April 1 election day.

Canadian Father “Billboard Chris” Arrested By Australian Police for Sign Against Child Abuse

We’ve long used the phrase “through the looking glass” to describe times when people or whole societies seem to lose their rational minds. But what we’re seeing today, in 2025, is far more bizarre and disturbing than any other social hysteria any of us have seen in living memory. We’re not just through the looking glass, we’re through it, and someone shattered it behind us. It may not be possible to get back.

On March 26, a Canadian father named Chris Elston was arrested by Australian police in a mall. Known online as “Billboard Chris,” Elston has been on a one-man crusade to educate the public on the horrific child abuse that we call “gender-affirming care” for so-called “transgender kids.” It’s crazy enough that any sane adult believes there are actually children who need sex changes, but what’s worse is that most people don’t know what this “affirming care” actually is.

Giving “puberty blockers” to kids doesn’t just “pause” puberty. It causes permanent damage, bone density loss, and more. Then, when the kid goes on to take hormones designed for the opposite sex, the child is permanently sterlized. For life. They will never have children. They won’t even be able to have an orgasm. Ever. And all that is before the poor child is surgically mutilated to remove breasts or genitals.

Why was Elston arrested? For standing in a mall, silently, wearing a sign that reads, “children cannot consent to puberty blockers.” Remember that all government institutions in Western countries are completely captured by transgender ideology. They’re quite literally religious zealots who would see people like Elston actually burned at the stake (yes, I mean executed) if they could get away with it.

Elston’s X/Twitter account describes what happened:

From the account:

“A Canadian father who campaigns against irreversible gender dysphoria treatments for children has been fined and arrested in Brisbane, in what has been described as a “worrying attack on freedom of expression”.

Chris Elston – better known online as Billboard Chris – was standing in Queen Street Mall with a sign stating “children cannot consent to puberty blockers” when he was approached by a Brisbane City Council worker who accused him of obstructing people’s movement.

The council worker went on to issue Mr Elston with an $806 fine for “obstructing or unreasonably disturbing any person lawfully using a mall”, a claim the activist calmly insisted was untrue.”

Here’s where it gets truly chilling. In Australia, puberty blockers and similar treatments are banned by law for children. The police arrested Elston for criticizing a form of child abuse that Australian law itself makes illegal!

Here’s a sample of the online reaction:

What do citizens of Western countries do when their own government and police are targeting them and their children?
