Five-Day Search Ends With Recovery of Missing Kentucky Teen’s Body [WATCH]

The body of a Kentucky teenager who disappeared during a boating outing on Grayson Lake has been recovered following an extensive five-day search, while the man operating the pontoon boat has been charged with boating under the influence, as reported by Fox News.

The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources confirmed that the body of Marly Kinney, 19, of Ashland, was recovered from Grayson Lake at approximately 3:45 p.m. Sunday.

Kinney had been missing since Wednesday afternoon after disappearing during a gathering aboard a rented pontoon boat with at least 10 friends in Carter County.

According to investigators, Kinney was last seen around 4 p.m. on Wednesday after going overboard to use the bathroom. Authorities said those aboard the boat did not immediately realize she was missing.

After she was reported missing, multiple agencies launched an extensive search of Grayson Lake and the surrounding area.

The search involved the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, Kentucky State Police, and local emergency responders.

Search crews used sonar equipment, thermal detectors, helicopters, K-9 teams, heat-seeking devices, underwater drones, and other specialized resources during the operation. More than 50 volunteers also joined the search despite periods of rain that slowed rescue efforts.

Authorities have not disclosed how Kinney’s body was ultimately located.

The investigation began on Wednesday after Cameron Conley, 23, notified staff at Grayson Lake Marina that Kinney was no longer aboard his pontoon boat and that he was unable to find her.

Kentucky State Police responded to assist with both the search and the investigation.

According to court records previously obtained by FOX 56, troopers detected the odor of alcohol on Conley’s breath after arriving at the marina.

Authorities said Conley admitted he had been drinking and agreed to submit to a breath test.

Officials reported that his blood alcohol content measured 0.137%, nearly twice Kentucky’s legal limit for operating a boat. A second breath test administered approximately 20 minutes later registered 0.135%.

Kentucky State Police also reported that the responding trooper observed Conley’s eyes were bloodshot and glassy while conducting the investigation.

Conley was arrested on a charge of boating under the influence and transported to the Carter County Detention Center. He has since been released.

Authorities have not announced any additional charges in connection with Kinney’s death.

The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources said Kinney’s family has been notified.

Her body was transported to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort, where officials will determine the cause of death.

Officials said the investigation into the circumstances surrounding her disappearance remains active.

Following confirmation that Kinney had been found, Smokin’ J’s Rib and Brewhouse in Ashland, where she worked, announced it would close temporarily so employees could mourn her loss.

“The Smoking J’s Family is saddened by the loss of one of our own, Marly Kinney,” the restaurant said in a Facebook statement.

“Marly was a model employee loved by all, always with a friendly smile and a kind word. She was loved by her fellow coworkers and friends, many who have been volunteering over these last few days,” the statement continued.

“Our love and prayers go out to Marly’s family and friends through this tragic loss.”

Earlier during the search, Kinney’s family released a statement thanking law enforcement officers, first responders, volunteers, and everyone involved in the effort to locate the missing teenager.

Authorities said anyone with information related to Kinney’s disappearance or the investigation is encouraged to contact Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Law Enforcement at 800-25-ALERT (25378) or Kentucky State Police Post 14 at 606-928-6421.

DOJ Examines Sen. Ruben Gallego’s Campaign Spending on Super Bowl Tickets and Disney Trips

The Department of Justice has opened an investigation into Sen. Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., over campaign spending tied to luxury outings and family travel that were paid for with campaign donations, according to reports confirmed by the New York Post.

The investigation centers on potential campaign finance violations and follows a whistleblower complaint originating in Southern California. Axios first reported the existence of the federal investigation.

News of the DOJ probe emerged only hours after the Senate Ethics Committee rejected a complaint against Gallego that alleged campaign finance violations and sexual misconduct.

A spokesperson for Gallego criticized the investigation in a statement provided to Axios.

“[President] Trump is targeting Senator Gallego while the most weaponized Department of Justice in history is turning a blind eye to Trump’s unprecedented corruption,” the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson added, “It’s the least surprising news of the week that this comes immediately after the Senate Ethics Committee cleared Senator Gallego of right-wing smears pushed by the administration.”

Gallego has denied violating campaign finance laws.

The scrutiny follows reporting last week by Politico detailing campaign expenditures that included Super Bowl tickets, family travel, childcare expenses, and other trips funded through campaign accounts.

According to Politico, Gallego used a joint campaign committee known as the “Swallego Victory Fund,” created with former Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., in October 2022, to attend Super Bowl LVII in Arizona with his wife in 2023.

The fundraising committee reportedly hosted an event during the Super Bowl and spent more than $37,000 on game tickets and meals connected to the event.

Federal Election Commission records cited in the report also show that Gallego spent approximately $18,000 from campaign and political action committee funds on childcare beginning in 2019.

Among those expenses was a $400 payment to his mother-in-law for babysitting services.

Gallego addressed those childcare expenditures last week in a post on X, noting that “the FEC has stated that childcare may be reimbursed.”

Campaign finance records also show spending connected to family trips to Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland in California, where Gallego participated in political action committee retreats.

According to the records, lodging for the Disneyland trip totaled nearly $1,500, excluding airfare.

Additional campaign-funded travel listed in disclosure records included trips with family members to St. Barts, Miami, and Chicago.

Politico also cited an unnamed source familiar with Gallego’s campaign spending.

“He just spends his campaign account like it’s his personal slush fund,” the source said.

“He’s using campaign cash to live a luxury lifestyle.”

The DOJ investigation stems from a whistleblower complaint filed in Southern California alleging potential campaign finance violations.

Federal authorities have not publicly disclosed additional details regarding the scope of the investigation or whether any charges are being considered.

Neither the Department of Justice nor Gallego’s Senate office immediately responded to requests for comment from the New York Post following reports that the investigation had been launched.

Gallego, who represents Arizona in the U.S. Senate, has consistently maintained that his campaign expenditures complied with applicable election laws and regulations.

The Justice Department investigation now places additional attention on campaign spending that has already received scrutiny following recent reports detailing expenditures for sporting events, travel, childcare, and political fundraising activities.

At this stage, no criminal charges have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.

California No-Kill Rescue Faces Investigation After Discovery of More Than 100 Dogs Buried [WATCH]

An investigation into a Northern California animal rescue has uncovered the remains of more than 100 dogs buried on the property, prompting an ongoing criminal investigation involving local, state, and federal authorities, as reported by Fox News.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office announced that investigators recovered the remains of 117 dogs and 21 canine skulls at Miranda’s Rescue Animal Sanctuary in Fortuna after launching an investigation earlier this year.

According to the sheriff’s office, the investigation began in April after authorities received a tip alleging animal abuse, animal cruelty, fraud, and conspiracy at the rescue organization.

Last week, investigators announced that two excavation sites on the property yielded 117 intact canine remains. Authorities also discovered 21 canine skulls, hundreds of additional bones, and six loose microchips at another nearby dig site.

Officials said they continue reviewing the recovered microchip information along with other evidence collected during the investigation.

The sheriff’s office said the recovered dogs were found in various stages of decomposition.

Investigators conducted on-site X-rays of 70 of the dogs, with many showing evidence of bullet fragments. According to preliminary findings by forensic veterinarians, many of the animals examined appeared to have died from gunshot wounds.

“Most of the dogs recovered were microchipped. Analysts are currently reviewing the data obtained from the microchips and are working to identify the dogs associated with those chips.

All items were collected as evidence and will undergo further examination as part of the ongoing investigation,” the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office said.

During the investigation, authorities also identified what they believe was an area inside a barn where many of the dogs may have been killed.

Investigators recovered more than 600 dog collars from that location.

Officials said records show that at least 918 dogs had been transferred to Miranda’s Rescue Animal Sanctuary since January 2025. Investigators have confirmed only 116 adoptions during that period.

Authorities located 71 live dogs on the property during the investigation, leaving more than 700 dogs currently unaccounted for based on available records.

Sheriff William Honsal said investigators are continuing to process evidence and interview witnesses as the case develops.

“This investigation is just getting started,” Honsal said.

“There is a tremendous amount of data to process, witnesses to interview, and evidence to examine. The Major Crimes Division is laser-focused on this case and will continue working with our state and federal partners to examine every lead.”

Fox News Digital reported that it contacted Miranda’s Rescue Animal Sanctuary seeking comment.

The organization’s founder and owner, Shannon Miranda, responded to the allegations in a statement published on the rescue’s website on June 18.

“For more than 30 years, I have devoted my life to rescuing and caring for animals through Miranda’s Rescue. Recent media coverage and online commentary have presented an incomplete and, in some cases, inaccurate picture of our work. I want to share the facts and provide context so the public can better understand our work and the difficult decisions we sometimes must make,” the statement reads.

Miranda acknowledged that animals have been euthanized at the rescue, but said those decisions were made only under limited circumstances.

He stated that euthanasia occurred only “when an animal is suffering from a terminal condition or when it poses a serious, ongoing danger to people or other animals.”

Miranda also described two specific incidents that he said led to euthanasia decisions.

“In one case, a dog named Zora arrived heavily sedated, later killed a feral cat during a walk with a prospective adopter, then broke free and attacked another dog,” Miranda said.

“In another case, a dog transferred to us became fixated on a stroller carrying a baby, lunged at it, and attacked it before staff intervened. In both situations, given the observed behavior and the risks to staff, volunteers, visitors, and other animals, I made the difficult decision to euthanize the dogs.”

Authorities have not announced any arrests or filed criminal charges in connection with the investigation.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office said reviewing the evidence will require considerable time because of the complexity of the case and the volume of material investigators continue to examine.

Dave Portnoy Teases NYC Mayor Run to Take on Socialist Mamdani and the DSA [WATCH]

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy said he is considering a run for mayor of New York City, citing concerns about the growing influence of Democratic Socialists of America and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Portnoy discussed the possibility during an appearance on Jesse Watters Primetime on Fox News, where he said recent political developments in New York have prompted him to think about entering public office.

His comments come as Mamdani and other Democratic Socialist-backed candidates have received increased national attention following a series of primary victories in New York and elsewhere.

Portnoy, who built Barstool Sports into a national media company, has become increasingly vocal about political issues in recent months, particularly those involving New York City.

According to Yahoo News, Portnoy has criticized Mamdani for “hogging the spotlight” after the New York Knicks won the franchise’s first NBA championship in 53 years.

The report also noted that Portnoy has publicly criticized some of Mamdani’s political endorsements.

During his interview with Fox News, Portnoy said the political climate in New York has led him to consider mounting a campaign.

“I’m losing my mind on what’s happening right now, especially in New York,” Portnoy said.

When asked about the possibility of challenging Mamdani, Portnoy acknowledged that he does not know whether he could win.

“Can I win here? I have no idea,” he said of running against Mamdani. “I don’t know the demographics, whether they get enough votes.”

Despite that uncertainty, Portnoy said he believes he has built significant support in New York City through his work over the years.

“There’s a lot of people who like me in New York City. I know that I’ve done a lot of good in New York City when I wasn’t thinking about politics, whether it’s the Barstool Fund, pizza places.”

Portnoy also contrasted his professional background with that of many elected officials.

“So it wasn’t for show. I’ve had a real job. I’ve done real things, unlike these clown politicians who have never had a job and never been in the real world for a day.”

The Barstool Sports founder did not announce an official campaign or provide a timetable for making a decision. Instead, he presented the possibility as something he is actively considering while evaluating the political landscape in New York City.

Portnoy has become one of the country’s most recognizable media personalities since launching Barstool Sports.

In addition to sports coverage, he has drawn attention for charitable efforts through the Barstool Fund and for his popular pizza review videos, which have featured hundreds of restaurants across the country, including many in New York City.

His remarks come as discussions surrounding the Democratic Socialists of America and the direction of New York politics continue following recent primary elections.

Several victories by DSA-backed candidates have sparked debate over the ideological direction of Democratic politics in the city.

While Portnoy has not formally entered the race, his comments on Fox News placed him among the public figures who have expressed interest in challenging the city’s current political leadership.

Whether he ultimately files to run remains to be seen, but his remarks underscore the heightened attention surrounding New York City’s political landscape following this year’s primary elections.

John Fetterman Explodes at “The Dirtbag Left” as Socialist Victories Shake Democrats [WATCH]

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., is again criticizing members of his own party, saying recent victories by far-left candidates reflect what he believes is a growing shift within the Democratic Party toward socialism, as reported by Fox News.

Speaking Sunday evening, Fetterman reacted to several high-profile primary wins by progressive candidates, including members of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), describing the results as evidence that the party has continued moving left.

“Big night for the dirtbag left,” Fetterman said while discussing New York’s recent primary elections, where two DSA-backed candidates secured victories.

He continued, “I’ve said the party is becoming an orgy of socialism. Clearly anti-America, anti-Western Civilization.”

Fetterman’s remarks come after a series of primary elections that have drawn national attention and intensified debate over the direction of the Democratic Party.

Among the races receiving attention was the Democratic Senate primary in Maine, where Graham Platner won the nomination despite facing scrutiny during the campaign.

Platner attracted controversy after denying knowledge of the meaning behind a tattoo linked to Nazi imagery, making off-color comments about race, and referring to himself as a “communist” in a deleted Reddit post.

In New York, Democratic Socialists of America candidates Claire Valdez and Darializa Avila-Chevalier both won Democratic primaries.

Valdez campaigned on proposals that included abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and advancing climate policies modeled after the Green New Deal.

Avila-Chevalier defeated incumbent Rep. Adriano Espillat, D-N.Y., who serves as chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

Both candidates received support from New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who has described himself as a socialist.

The victories have prompted criticism from Republicans, who argue the results illustrate the Democratic Party’s continued movement toward progressive policies.

Fetterman has emerged as one of the few Democratic senators publicly criticizing the party’s left flank following the elections.

During his comments, the Pennsylvania senator said some Democratic lawmakers have declined to criticize proposals advanced by progressive candidates.

“I mean, you look at some of the things that people have said. Abolish prison, abolish the border, abolish ICE, I mean these crazy people — I have colleagues in my caucus that refuse to even call this out,” Fetterman said.

His criticism extended beyond the New York races to developments in Maine.

“Between P-hustle in Maine and some of the other winners in New York, they should form their own party and run on all the things that they’ve had to delete on social media,” Fetterman said, referring to Platner.

He concluded, “That’s where our party has moved.”

Fetterman has repeatedly voiced concern in recent months about the Democratic Party’s ideological direction, particularly following a series of victories by socialist and progressive candidates in Democratic primaries.

His latest comments follow continued debate within the party over issues including immigration, law enforcement, climate policy, and the role of government.

The victories by DSA-backed candidates in New York, along with Platner’s Senate primary win in Maine, have become focal points in that discussion.

The Pennsylvania senator’s criticism also highlights an ongoing divide between moderates and the party’s progressive wing as Democrats prepare for future elections.

While many Democratic leaders have emphasized maintaining a broad coalition within the party, Fetterman argued that some of the candidates emerging from recent primaries represent positions that he believes many Democrats have been unwilling to publicly challenge.

Socialist Candidate Says US Invited 9/11 and Promises Free Everything With No Consequences [WATCH]

A Democratic Socialist candidate seeking the Democratic nomination for Colorado’s 1st Congressional District is drawing attention for comments on U.S. foreign policy, healthcare, housing, taxes, and other issues ahead of Tuesday’s primary election, as reported by The Post Millennial.

Melat Kiros, a 29-year-old Ethiopian-born Democratic Socialist, discussed her platform during a recent interview, where she advocated for Medicare for All, federally funded social housing, a national high-speed rail system, and changes to the federal tax code. She also addressed questions about the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and U.S. foreign policy.

The race comes after several Democratic Socialist candidates secured primary victories in New York City during June, bringing renewed attention to the influence of the Democratic Socialists of America within Democratic politics.

During the interview, Kiros was asked whether she believed “that the 9/11 terrorist attacks on America were the inevitable consequence of American foreign policy,” with the interviewer noting that she had previously described the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel as “an inevitable consequence for Israel based on its action.”

Kiros responded, “Inevitable in the sense that we destabilized a lot of the Middle East. That forced people to believe that another act of violence was the only response, and again, just like I said before, our responsibility is to getting rid of those conditions.”

The interviewer also asked how she would appeal to Democratic primary voters who do not identify as socialists.

Kiros argued that elements of socialism already exist in the United States through taxpayer-funded institutions.

“What I’m calling for is the same security that we have in those institutions to be in our healthcare, to be in our access to nutritional food, to be in making sure that we have universal child care and universal elder care,” she said.

She also discussed the impact artificial intelligence could have on employment, saying the country is moving toward an era in which AI will affect workers.

“We need to make sure that people’s basic needs are protected, and that’s only through programs that would be socialist,” Kiros said.

Among her policy proposals, Kiros called for “housing-first measures” that would establish “social housing” and for the federal government to finance construction of a nationwide high-speed rail system.

Healthcare was another major focus of the interview.

Kiros said she believes the Democratic Party’s most achievable goal over the next several years is passing “Medicare for all.”

“I sincerely believe that the last thing Democrats did to meaningfully help working families was Obamacare,” she said, describing it as “a band-aid for a system that has now still hemorrhaging.”

She added, “Medicare for all is something that would meaningfully make real relief for working families in this country,” expressing hope that Democrats would approve a universal healthcare package if they regain unified control of the federal government.

Kiros also defended a single-payer healthcare system.

“Single payer actually pays for itself,” she said.

“I think there’s a misconception that the health care is free, and that’s not what’s happening.”

She continued, “You’re just cutting out the middlemen that are frankly just making a profit off of people being sick, and when you have Medicare being the most efficient health insurance program in the country compared to all of the other private health insurance companies, this is the most common sense thing to do.”

Kiros further claimed that “every other developed wealthy nation in the country” has adopted such a system and said it is estimated to save “thousands of dollars for taxpayers and to save $2 trillion for the government over 10 years.”

In addition to healthcare, Kiros proposed revising the federal tax code, arguing that “ultra billionaires and trillionaires” are not paying “their fair share.”

She said the federal poverty line should account for housing and health insurance costs in addition to food expenses, advocated raising the federal minimum wage to approximately $21 per hour, and called for creating a new tax bracket for the “ultra-wealthy.”

The interview also included questions about her personal financial circumstances.

Kiros discussed her experiences as a renter in Denver and said she has struggled to stretch her paycheck.

The interviewer challenged that characterization, stating, “knowing financial struggle by choice. You were a corporate attorney who’s going to get a PhD.

I have no doubt that you’re having trouble making ends meet when you step out of that world, but you kind of chose to step out of that world.”

Kiros replied that it was a “fair assessment,” but said, “I did grow up with the same struggle,” explaining that she immigrated to the United States as a baby and watched her parents work multiple jobs.

She also referenced her previous employment at the law firm Sidley Austin.

“After getting fired from that law firm, it was definitely clear that no other law firm of that caliber was going to hire me either, and I did make the choice to go to a PhD program to do the work that actually mattered to me,” she said.

Kiros was dismissed from Sidley Austin in 2023, shortly after the October 7 attack, after publishing a letter on Medium criticizing the firm’s decision to sign an open letter urging law school deans to address antisemitism on their campuses.

Paris Deputy Mayor Blames Americans for France Heat Wave [WATCH]

Paris Deputy Mayor Audrey Pulvar is drawing attention after blaming the United States for contributing to the deadly heat wave that has gripped France, arguing that American greenhouse gas emissions and widespread air conditioning have played a significant role in global warming, as reported by Fox News.

Pulvar released a lengthy statement on Instagram on Friday in response to criticism from American journalists and social media users over the lack of air conditioning in many buildings throughout Paris as temperatures climbed to record levels.

“Dear American journalists and social media ‘influencers’: for days, some of you have been criticizing and making fun of Paris because the city does not have A/C in every room. OMG, this is so rich!” Pulvar wrote.

She continued by placing responsibility on the United States for its role in global emissions.

“As the second-largest emitter of greenhouse gas emissions in the world, you bear a significant amount of responsibility for global warming and the consequences we, in France, are experiencing. Your cities ‘90% air-conditioned’ are not unrelated to this. In Paris, we take responsibility.”

Pulvar, who was elected deputy mayor in March, said Paris has implemented measures designed to reduce air pollution and promote energy-efficient renovations across the city.

She argued that air conditioning contributes to global warming rather than solving the underlying problem.

“If every American city made the same ecological transition efforts as Paris and many European cities, believe me, the whole world would be better off. So please, enough with the lecture. Just start doing your part. Best regards,” she concluded.

A post shared by Audrey PULVAR (@audreypulvar)

Pulvar later added another statement defending climate policies implemented by the city’s left-wing leadership.

“If we hadn’t done so, the situation today would be much worse. Yes, there is still much to be done. No, the situation is not ideal. But perhaps it would be more appropriate for one of the countries most responsible for the problem not to lecture those who are trying to find solutions for their own populations,” Pulvar wrote.

Fox News Digital reported that it contacted both Pulvar and the Paris mayor’s office seeking comment.

The remarks came as France experienced an intense heat wave that pushed temperatures above 104 degrees Fahrenheit in Paris, according to the Associated Press.

The extreme weather has prompted emergency measures across the country.

French authorities have imposed alcohol restrictions in public spaces and limited large public gatherings while deploying thousands of emergency workers to respond to heat-related incidents.

The heat wave has also been linked to dozens of deaths. According to the Associated Press, at least 48 people in France drowned while attempting to cool off outside designated swimming areas.

Officials have also taken steps to reduce tourist exposure to the extreme temperatures. Paris shortened operating hours at several of the country’s most visited landmarks, including the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre.

The debate over air conditioning and climate policy has intensified as Europe continues to experience recurring periods of extreme summer heat.

The issue has also fueled broader discussions over emissions, infrastructure, and how countries should respond to rising temperatures.

Pulvar’s comments specifically addressed criticism from Americans regarding the comparatively limited use of air conditioning in Paris.

She argued that the city’s environmental policies reflect an effort to reduce emissions, while contending that greater reliance on air conditioning contributes to the broader problem of global warming.

The exchange comes as French officials continue responding to the ongoing heat emergency with restrictions aimed at protecting residents and visitors during one of the hottest periods recorded this year.

Jesse Watters Torches Democrats Over ‘Big Tent’ Excuse as Radical Socialists Take Control [WATCH]

As Democratic Socialists of America-backed candidates continue appearing in races across the country, debate over the direction of the Democratic Party has become a growing topic in political media, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

The issue received attention during a recent episode of The Five on Fox News, where co-host Jesse Watters argued that Democratic officials have increasingly relied on describing their party as a “big tent” in response to questions about the rise of Democratic Socialists of America, commonly known as the DSA.

According to the discussion, media outlets have begun asking Democratic figures how candidates aligned with the DSA have gained traction in elections across multiple parts of the country.

The response, Watters said, has frequently centered on the idea that the Democratic Party welcomes a broad range of political viewpoints.

Watters criticized that explanation during the broadcast, arguing that it avoids addressing concerns about the party’s ideological direction.

“All of a sudden, the Communists start winning, and they say… BIG TENT! Democrats don’t believe in ANYTHING, except power!” Watters said during the segment.

The remarks came as discussion continues over the influence of Democratic Socialists of America candidates in local and state races.

The organization has received increased attention in recent election cycles as several candidates associated with its platform have won primaries or secured elected office.

The source article contends that Democratic officials have repeatedly used the phrase “big tent” when responding to questions about the growing visibility of DSA-backed candidates.

It also argues that the explanation has become a common talking point among Democrats when discussing ideological differences within the party.

Video from The Five accompanied the report, highlighting Watters’ comments and his criticism of the messaging.

The source also pointed to multiple examples of Democratic figures using similar language, suggesting that the “big tent” description has become a consistent response when discussing the party’s internal coalition.

According to the source, Watters argued that Democratic officials have adopted the same explanation repeatedly rather than directly addressing questions about the growing prominence of Democratic Socialists of America candidates.

The report further asserted that Democratic politicians have continued using similar language in interviews and public appearances as questions about the party’s ideological makeup have increased.

The discussion comes as political observers continue watching the role progressive and socialist-aligned candidates may play in upcoming elections across the country.

The rise of DSA-backed candidates has become a recurring topic in national political coverage, particularly following recent primary victories in several races.

Watters maintained during the Fox News segment that the repeated use of the “big tent” description reflects a coordinated political message rather than a direct response to concerns about the influence of Democratic Socialists of America within the broader Democratic coalition.

The comments aired as Democrats continue facing questions from political commentators and members of the media about the party’s future direction and the growing visibility of candidates aligned with the Democratic Socialists of America.

Clarence Thomas Shuts Down Liberal Reporter With the Perfect Capitol Hill Comeback [WATCH]

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas drew attention during a visit to the U.S. Capitol on Monday, where he briefly responded to questions from reporters ahead of several closely watched Supreme Court decisions expected later this week, as reported by Townhall.

The visit came as the Supreme Court continued releasing opinions before the end of its term. Several major rulings remain pending, including cases involving transgender athletes, campaign finance, and birthright citizenship.

On Monday, the Court also issued another round of decisions.

Among them was a ruling declining to strike down a Mississippi law that permits election officials to accept mail-in ballots up to five days after Election Day, provided the ballots are properly postmarked.

Thomas, one of the Court’s longest-serving conservative justices, was seen walking through the House side of the Capitol, prompting reporters to ask why he was there.

According to a social media post by MS Now reporter Mychael Schnell, Thomas declined to provide details about the purpose of his visit.

“NEW: Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas just walked through the House side of the Capitol.

He didn’t say why he was here. But told me he was meeting with “nobody.”

I said tomorrow will be a big day at the court. “I guess so,” he responded.

Schnell also asked Thomas whether he would offer “a sneak peek” of upcoming Supreme Court decisions, but the justice declined.

Another video of the exchange, shared by Greg Price on X, captured the brief conversation between the reporter and Thomas.

The exchange unfolded as follows:

Reporter: “Can we ask who you are meeting with today?”

Justice Thomas: “Oh, nobody.”

Reporter: “So what are you doing up here?”

Justice Thomas: “Just walking.”

Reporter: “You want to give us a sneak peek of some of the decisions?”

Justice Thomas: “Nope.”

Thomas did not elaborate further and continued on his way.

The appearance generated speculation online about the purpose of the justice’s visit, but later reporting indicated there was no meeting with House Republican leadership.

Reporter Meredith Lee Hill posted on X that Thomas “declined to answer questions about why he was here as he left the House side.”

She also reported that “He did not meet with House GOP leadership and Rs believe he was here for the House physician’s office, per sources.”

No official statement was released regarding the visit.

Thomas’ brief answers came just before the Supreme Court is expected to hand down several of its final opinions of the term.

The remaining cases have drawn significant national attention because they address issues involving transgender athletes, campaign finance, and birthright citizenship.

The Court has been steadily clearing its docket in recent days by issuing batches of decisions before the conclusion of the current term.

Monday’s ruling allowing Mississippi’s law on postmarked mail-in ballots to remain in place was among the decisions released as the Court continued wrapping up its work.

Thomas did not comment on any pending cases or indicate how the Court might rule on the remaining matters.

His responses to reporters remained limited to a few words, including a single-word answer when asked whether he would preview the Court’s upcoming opinions.

Families Watch in Horror as Skydiving Plane Plummets in France Killing All 11 on Board [WATCH]

A skydiving plane crashed moments after takeoff in northeastern France on Sunday, killing all 11 people aboard as families watched the aircraft fall from the sky, according to French officials, as reported by Fox News.

The single-engine Pilatus PC-6 departed from Nancy-Essey Airfield near the city of Nancy before crashing less than a minute after takeoff.

Authorities said those killed included five skydiving instructors, five first-time jumpers, and the pilot.

Skydiver Tragically Killed After Midair Collision During Group Jump in Washington

French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez said some of the victims’ relatives witnessed the crash unfold.

“Some of the victims’ families witnessed the aircraft falling with their own eyes,” Nuñez said. “So there is tremendous emotion and an even greater psychological trauma.”

Officials said the aircraft experienced what appeared to be a malfunction shortly after leaving the runway. Meurthe-et-Moselle Prefect Yves Séguy said the plane “fell almost vertically” before crashing about 300 yards from the runway.

The aircraft narrowly avoided a populated area before impacting the ground.

Flight-tracking information from Flightradar24 showed the Pilatus PC-6 banking to the left shortly after takeoff before disappearing from radar less than one minute into the flight.

Authorities have not determined what caused the crash. Investigators said it remains too early to draw conclusions while the wreckage is being examined.

France’s Bureau of Enquiry and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety (BEA), the country’s aviation accident investigation agency, announced on X that it had opened a safety investigation into the accident involving the Pilatus PC-6.

The agency said four investigators and one first-response investigator were dispatched to the crash site to begin examining the evidence.

Emergency crews, forensic personnel, and investigators responded to the scene as recovery efforts got underway.

Nancy Mayor Mathieu Klein described the tragedy as “an immense shock that has plunged the Greater Nancy area into mourning” in a Facebook post. He also offered condolences to the victims’ families and to those who witnessed the crash.

Klein said he visited the crash site alongside regional officials and praised the “remarkable professionalism and commitment” shown by rescue workers, medical personnel, and security officials responding to the disaster.

The mayor also announced that Greater Nancy would establish a gathering space at Marcel Picot Stadium where residents could pay their respects and express solidarity with the victims’ families following the tragedy.

The Meurthe-et-Moselle prefecture said it activated a public information center Sunday afternoon to assist relatives of those killed in the crash.

Officials said the hotline would reopen Monday morning as recovery operations continued and investigators worked to determine what caused the aircraft to go down.

French Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot described the accident as the country’s deadliest skydiving aviation crash in roughly three decades.

The investigation remains in its early stages, and officials cautioned against speculation until investigators complete their examination of the wreckage, flight data, and other available evidence.

The Pilatus PC-6, a single-engine aircraft commonly used for parachute operations because of its short takeoff and landing capabilities, was carrying a group preparing for a skydiving flight when the fatal crash occurred shortly after departure from Nancy-Essey Airfield.

Authorities have not released any findings regarding the apparent malfunction identified immediately after takeoff.

Investigators are expected to continue examining the aircraft, the flight path, and other evidence as they work to determine the cause of the crash that claimed the lives of all 11 people aboard.
