Everybody Knows This About the ‘New Left,’ They Just Won’t Say It Out Loud: Adam Carolla [WATCH]

Comedian and podcast host Adam Carolla used a recent episode of his podcast to criticize Zohran Mamdani, members of “the Squad,” and other progressive political figures, arguing that controversies surrounding them consistently reinforce accusations of anti-American and antisemitic views rather than contradict them.

During the discussion, Carolla said that when new information surfaces about politicians he associates with what he described as a newer generation of left-wing leaders, it rarely changes public perceptions in a positive way. Instead, he argued, each new revelation tends to involve old social media posts, controversial associations, or statements that critics view as further evidence of their political beliefs.

“Whenever these people, Zoran or anyone in the squad, anyone in that sort of Islamic youthy kind of new wave politician, all that group who gets accused, and their wives and their friends and everyone they they point to be housing ambassador and economic collator and blah blah blah. It only goes one direction,” Carolla said.

He argued that the pattern, in his view, is one in which additional information only adds to existing criticism.

“It’s more and more. Oh, we found a tweet from six years ago where you’re praising Hitler and saying, ‘I wish there were more Jews taken out.’ Like it’s no, there’s never a correction.”

According to Carolla, the response from those facing criticism is often to object to the accusations themselves rather than address the substance behind them. He compared that reaction to former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci’s appearances before Congress.

“It’s just like Fauci was when he’d get hauled in front of Jim Jordan. Oh, how dare you! This is insulting. You’ve insulted my honor and my integrity. It’s always this is an insult calling you anti-Semitic or anti-American,” Carolla said.

Carolla argued that he has not seen examples that contradict those accusations. Instead, he said the public record continues to move in the same direction.

“But every single piece of information we find out about you says that, and there’s never a corrective one,” he said.

As an example, Carolla said he has never seen social media activity distancing those politicians from slogans or statements that have drawn criticism.

“It’s just Hassan Piker, all you assholes. It’s just like somebody goes Israel to the river to the sea, and then you like this tweet. That’s all we got,” he said, adding that he has never found examples of those figures publicly rejecting such rhetoric. “We’ll never find a tweet of somebody saying, ‘Hey, river to the sea, that’s too much. I disagree with it.'”

Carolla summed up his position by saying, “So you are not this person, except for that’s all you ever are.”

Co-host Rudy Pavich pointed to the 2020 unrest in Minneapolis following the death of George Floyd as another example of what he described as a disconnect between public statements and actions.

Pavich recalled Rep. Ilhan Omar speaking about her family’s patriotism during that period.

“During the a lot of the George Floyd, the riots in Minneapolis, Ilhan Omar was talking about how patriotic she is, and to this country, and that her family is one that has been, you know, USA since day one,” Pavich said.

He then referenced a social media post he attributed to Omar’s daughter during the unrest.

“And then immediately after that, while the city is burning, her daughter puts out a tweet saying, ‘Hey, this is what we need to continue the riots down here. So we need some milk for the tear gas. We need some plywood. We need Molotov cocktails.'”

Pavich added, “I don’t know. Maybe the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.”

Carolla closed the discussion by arguing that, in his opinion, the actions, associations, hiring decisions, social media activity, and public affiliations of the politicians he discussed consistently point toward the same conclusion.

“They hate this country and they hate Jews, but they can’t say out loud, ‘I hate Jews and I hate America,'” Carolla said. “It’s just every action they engage in suggests that, and every tweet they like, and everybody they associate with, and everyone they hire, and every church they go to. That’s all it is.”

Joe Rogan Completely Cooks CNN and the Mainstream Media Over Fauci Hearing Coverage [WATCH]

Podcast host Joe Rogan criticized major news organizations for giving little attention to Dr. Anthony Fauci’s congressional testimony, arguing that the hearing deserved widespread coverage because of its connection to the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on millions of Americans.

Rogan specifically took aim at CNN, saying the network dismissed the significance of the proceedings instead of covering them as a major news event.

“One of the wildest things now is during this Fauci trial, you’re not seeing any coverage of it on mainstream media,” Rogan said.

He noted that one CNN panel did discuss the matter but criticized how it was presented.

“Except I saw one of those stupid panel shows on CNN where they were saying no one cares about this.”

According to Rogan, the issues raised during the hearing remain important despite the passage of time.

“We should care about what’s happening right now.”

He rejected the argument that Americans have moved on from the pandemic.

“America doesn’t care about what happened five years ago.”

Rogan then described why he believes the hearing should have received greater attention.

“Hey, there’s a congressional hearing going on where a guy’s testifying in front of Congress, who got a 10-year complete 10-year immunity for all the crimes that he possibly could have committed when he wasn’t convicted of any crimes.”

He argued that such a circumstance is unprecedented.

“Which is an incredible precedent that’s never happened before.”

Rogan continued by emphasizing what he believes makes the situation unique.

“You’ve never had a guy get pardoned for something that he was never convicted of for 10 years, anything he did in 10 years.”

He also pointed to Fauci’s decision to invoke the Fifth Amendment while testifying.

“And then you have that same guy testifying in front of Congress, pleading the fifth that would color his tie is.”

Rogan argued that those developments alone warranted significant news coverage.

“If you don’t think that’s news, you’re out of your fucking mind.”

He added, “And you shouldn’t be calling yourself the news because you’re just a propaganda arm for whatever pharmaceutical company is paying for your advertisements.”

Rogan accused major media organizations of abandoning basic journalistic responsibilities.

“This, what you’re doing is nonsense.”

“This is definitely not news.”

According to Rogan, the hearing is relevant because many Americans were directly affected by pandemic-era policies.

“That’s a big issue for most Americans who went through that.”

He cited examples of people who experienced personal or professional consequences.

“People who lost their jobs.”

“People who had to take a vaccine in order to go to work and got sick from it.”

“People who they couldn’t fly, they couldn’t travel.”

“They were vilified.”

“They were called plague rats because they were questioning these things.”

Rogan said those experiences make the hearing worthy of public attention.

“And here we are.”

“Here we are with CNN saying this is not a big deal.”

He also criticized the argument that more pressing current events should take precedence.

“Why are we concentrating on this? We have so many issues right now plaguing this country.”

Rogan responded that the news media should be capable of covering multiple important stories at the same time.

“Yeah, guess what? We can concentrate on those too.”

“We can look at everything.”

He argued that comprehensive reporting is a core responsibility of journalism.

“That’s what you’re supposed to do.”

“That’s what the news is supposed to be.”

Rogan concluded by saying that news organizations should present information rather than determine which issues the public is allowed to consider important.

“You’re supposed to be telling us you’re not supposed to be the arbiters of what we can and can’t concentrate on.”

“That’s ridiculous.”

Nicki Minaj Trolls Fauci’s Media Image with a Brutal Satirical Monologue [WATCH]

Recording artist Nicki Minaj delivered a satirical monologue centered on Dr. Anthony Fauci, mocking the former public health official’s media coverage and influence during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Using the format of a fictional diary entry, Minaj sarcastically portrayed Fauci as someone receiving glowing press coverage despite the controversies surrounding pandemic policies and their impact on Americans.

“Dear diary, well, the press is hot for me,” Minaj began.

She continued the satire by exaggerating Fauci’s public image.

“They say I’m sexier than Tyra Banks.”

“Julia Roberts gasped when she saw how handsome I was.”

“Brad Pitt played me on SNL.”

Minaj then shifted from humor to criticism, referencing the broader effects of pandemic-era policies.

“Never mind that I set millions of children back years on their education.”

She also referenced the isolation experienced by many elderly Americans during the pandemic.

“Never mind that the elderly are alone and afraid, dying by themselves.”

Returning to the theme of media coverage, Minaj suggested that criticism of those policies was overshadowed by positive portrayals of Fauci.

“Yeah, the press is hot for me.”

“They’re really hot for me.”

Minaj also referenced one of her most widely recognized phrases from the pandemic era.

“I’m coining terms like Fauci Ouchie.”

The phrase became associated with her public comments questioning aspects of the COVID-19 response and vaccine discussion, drawing widespread media attention at the time.

Continuing the satirical diary format, Minaj joked about Fauci’s cultural prominence.

“I’ve got bobbleheads.”

She also criticized what she described as the treatment of people who questioned public health guidance.

“And if anyone asks questions, me and my gang ruins their lives.”

Minaj concluded the monologue by joking that the fictional version of Fauci was preparing to publish a memoir.

“I’m writing an autobiography.”

She ended by saying, “I think I’m going to call it Fauci Ouchie.”

Bill Maher Stuns His Audience with His Take on the State of the Democratic Party [WATCH]

Comedian Bill Maher argued that the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) is increasingly shaping the direction of the Democratic Party, contending that many of its leaders and candidates openly embrace ideas rooted in communism rather than traditional Democratic politics.

Maher made the remarks while explaining why he believes his political support is no longer guaranteed for Democratic candidates.

“And finally, new rule: Donald Trump has told 1 trillion lies, but when he says the Democratic Socialists of America are actually communists, that’s not one of them,” Maher said. “And it’s not hard to prove it just by quoting the DSA and their candidates.”

Maher said he takes no pleasure in making the argument.

“It gives me no pleasure to have to do this.”

He recalled telling Vice President J.D. Vance before leaving for vacation that his vote was no longer automatic.

“Right before we left, Vice President J.D. Vance was on the show, and I told him that if the Democratic Party keeps going in the direction of the DSA, my vote was in play.”

Maher said some interpreted that remark as an endorsement of Republicans.

“And all I heard all vacation was, ‘Oh my God, you’re a Republican now!'”

He rejected that characterization.

“No, that’s not what I said. I said in play.”

Maher said his concern stems from what he sees as an increasing number of Democratic candidates embracing far-left ideas.

“Not a week goes by where I don’t read about some newly chosen, exciting new face in the Democratic Party, and then when that face opens its mouth, the Communist Manifesto, or some other crazy shit, comes out.”

He pointed to the DSA platform as one example.

“The DSA platform says, ‘Your work, you work as much as you are able, and no more than needed.'”

Maher compared that language to Karl Marx.

“If that was any closer to Karl Marx’s dictum, ‘From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs,’ they’d be sued for plagiarism.”

He also referenced statements made by New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani.

“Not to leave any doubt, New York Mayor Mondani once tweeted Karl Marx’s words exactly, they’re not trying to hide it.”

Maher also criticized political commentator Hasan Piker.

“Their most popular influencer, Hassan Piker, thinks communism is so groovy.”

He added that Piker “laments the fall of the two of the most murderous regimes in history, the Soviet Union and Chairman Mao’s China.”

Maher then turned to comments he attributed to Mamdani adviser Sia Weaver.

“Mamdani’s aide, his top aide, Cia Weaver, said, ‘If you don’t believe in the government’s sacred right to seize property, it’s over and impoverish the white middle class.'”

He responded by asking, “What? That’s a that’s a goal.”

Maher also cited congressional candidate Darializa Chevalier

“One of the new soon-to-be Democratic Congresspeople, Darlezia Chevalier, supports seizing all properties from landlords, and said seize the means of production.”

He noted that Mamdani has expressed a similar goal.

“Mamdani has said the end goal is seizing the means of production.”

Maher concluded, “I think they want to seize the means of production.”

He argued that such positions amount to communism.

“Now maybe you missed that in school or missed school altogether, but that’s communism.”

Maher added, “That’s communism, which we tried and it doesn’t work.”

While acknowledging that political parties evolve over time, Maher argued that the DSA itself has shifted.

“The DSA itself has switched, even five years ago. It shunned communists.”

He continued, “That changed.”

According to Maher, the Marxist Unity Group has become increasingly influential within the organization.

“Now the coalition within the DSA, called the Marxist Unity Group, is in ascendance.”

He pointed to one of its stated goals.

“Our commitment is to the long-term struggle for a fully liberated, classless society.”

Maher summarized that objective in one word.

“In a word, communism.”

He added that Weaver had publicly encouraged voters to support communists.

“What do they have to do? Tweet out, elect more communists? Oh yeah, see a weaver did that.”

Maher argued that the DSA’s influence is spreading throughout the Democratic Party.

“You know what’s being colonized now? The Democratic Party.”

He referenced a pledge circulated by two Democratic members of Congress affirming support for capitalism, law enforcement, and America.

“It said, ‘We are capitalists, not socialists. We want safety, not lawlessness. We are proud, not ashamed of America.'”

Maher said only a handful of Democrats signed it.

“You know how many did? Eight. Eight out of 212.”

He argued that increasingly more candidates openly support eliminating traditional institutions.

“People are actually getting elected now who literally don’t think we should have police or prisons or borders.”

Maher also cited comments from Francesca Hong.

“Francesca Hong, yet another major Democratic candidate who’s all in on abolishing abolishing the police and is running for governor of Wisconsin, says, ‘I think that my perfect world would be a world without prisons, because we all see the humanity in one another, and then we know nobody’s disposable.'”

Maher responded, “Well, murder victims are.”

He also referenced longtime Democratic strategist James Carville.

“No wonder that the most true blue Democrat ever, James Carville, says there’s just some shit I can’t be in the same tent with.”

Maher added, “Yeah, Carvel said I’m done. I’m not in that fucking political party.”

Contrasting that with California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s view that the Democratic Party is a “big tent,” Maher joked, “Well, you know what else you find in a tent? Clowns.”

Maher concluded by saying the party’s direction has changed his own political outlook.

“I would vote for Sarah Palin before this shit.”

He added, “She’s a bimbo, but if you asked her to come up with something she likes about America, she could do it. You betcha! Thank you very much.”

Stephen A. Smith Goes All the Way Off on Fauci and the Democrats Covering for Him [WATCH]

Sports commentator Stephen A. Smith sharply criticized Dr. Anthony Fauci’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, arguing that recent developments have raised new questions about the former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director’s public guidance and leadership during the health crisis.

Smith said Fauci’s recent appearance and testimony reflected poorly on the longtime public health official.

“This was not a good day for Dr. Fauci,” Smith said. “He looks very bad, very bad.”

Smith acknowledged that Fauci’s legal team likely advised him on how to respond during questioning.

“And yes, through the advice of his lawyers, and yes, your lawyers compel you to do something, and they probably wanted him to plead the fifth on many occasions before before he finally relented and did it yesterday.”

Despite that, Smith argued that Fauci’s role during the pandemic carried enormous responsibility because millions of Americans followed his recommendations.

“But the bottom line is, this man held dominions over the lives of a nation, if not the world, with what he was imploring and mandating, everybody was listening to him.”

Smith then referenced comments made by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during an interview the previous evening.

“As Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pointed out on Hannity last night, he accused Fauci of misleading the country when it came to mask.”

According to Smith, Fauci’s recommendations on face coverings evolved into increasingly strict guidance.

“Fauci was damn near encouraging us to wear two and three masks at a time,” Smith said. “We damn near could breathe.”

Smith also revisited guidance encouraging Americans to maintain six feet of distance from one another during the pandemic.

“How about the six foot social distancing? We can’t ignore that.”

He questioned the scientific basis for the recommendation.

“Where you get that from?”

Smith noted that Fauci later acknowledged the guidance was not based on scientific evidence.

“He later admitted that it wasn’t backed by science.”

He argued that many of the pandemic policies appeared to have been developed without sufficient supporting evidence.

“You’re just coming up with this stuff.”

Smith also criticized other aspects of the government’s COVID-19 response.

“The lockdowns, the natural immunities, the vaccine’s ability to prevent infection and transmission.”

He further claimed that Fauci did not publicly disclose suffering a pulmonary infarction after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine.

“Fauci’s pulmonary infarction following vaccination that he didn’t reveal to the public, but he wrote about it in his diary.”

Smith summarized his concerns by saying, “This is all shady shit.”

He also questioned why, in his view, Democratic leaders have not been more critical of Fauci’s actions.

“It is, and the Democrats have nothing to say.”

Smith argued that elected officials supported policies that had significant consequences for many Americans.

“Wasn’t it the Democrats that was enforcing stuff?”

He pointed to the economic and personal hardships many people experienced during the pandemic.

“People lost their jobs.”

“Businesses went out of business.”

“Folks’ quality of life was severely compromised.”

Smith concluded by reflecting on the atmosphere surrounding public debate over Fauci’s recommendations during the pandemic.

“We had reached a point in our society where, if you even questioned Fauci, as opposed to celebrate him, you were in trouble.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger Celebrates 79th Birthday by Showing Off Iron Pumping Workout and Fit Physique

Arnold Schwarzenegger is celebrating his 79th birthday with a workout-driven birthday moment, as he flaunted his famously muscular physique in new celebratory photos. The Terminator star was pictured pumping iron Thursday in what appeared to be Los Angeles, as reported by Page Six.

In both birthday snapshots, Schwarzenegger wore a black T-shirt with matching shorts. He finished the gym look with a gold watch and sunglasses while putting his massive arms on display for followers.

The Predator star also used the caption to spotlight Pump Club, his fitness community app. The app offers customized nutrition tracking, workout routines, and more.

“I turn 79 today. I don’t want any gifts,” he wrote in part. “Instead, my team and I are turning the fitness industry upside down.”

Fans quickly filled the comments with praise for the former governor of California. Many focused on his ripped physique as he continues to train while nearing 80.

“Happy birthday, 50 years ago you were training with one of the best physiques ever, and 50 years later today you are still training with one of the best physiques ever for your age!” one person remarked.

Another fan kept the message short and celebratory, writing, “HBD legend! ” The reaction matched the upbeat tone of the post, with admirers treating the birthday photos as another show of Schwarzenegger staying in fighting shape.

A third chimed in, “Health, happiness and best of life to you You’ve inspired an entire generation and still continue to,” while a fourth wrote, “Thanks for inspiring me all those years ago to follow my dream! ✨ ”

The birthday post arrived after Schwarzenegger once again drew attention for defying age last month. He stepped out with his much younger girlfriend, Heather Milligan.

Schwarzenegger, whose 28-year-old son, Joseph Baena, is following in his famous dad’s footsteps with a bodybuilding career, appeared with Milligan in a rare public outing. The couple began dating 14 years ago.

They were seen at the Austrian World Summit in Vienna, Austria, in June. The outing placed the True Lies actor and Milligan, 51, alongside other notable figures at the event.

In one photo from the summit, Milligan and Schwarzenegger were joined by former US Vice President Kamala Harris. President Alexander Van der Bellen of Austria was also pictured with them.

The Kindergarten Cop actor’s latest birthday upload follows decades of fitness accomplishments. It also shows how closely his public image remains tied to training, bodybuilding and the gym.

Even so, Schwarzenegger has previously spoken with unusual bluntness about aging and body image. In a 2023 interview, the seven-time Mr. Olympia winner admitted he struggled with changes to his body, even while being more fit than the “majority” of people his age.

“I kind of smile because every day I do look in a mirror and I say, ‘Yep, you suck,’” he told Howard Stern at the time.

“When you’ve been hailed for years as this supreme body, and you have the definition, and you see the veins coming down your abs, and you see veins on top of your chest and then … you roll the clock 50 years, and you’re standing there, and you don’t see that anymore,” he lamented.

He added, “I never, ever thought about that when I was 30 years old or 40 years old that this [was] going to happen. It just sucks.”

For this birthday, however, the focus was firmly on Schwarzenegger still showing up in the gym. Between the iron-pumping photos, the Pump Club mention and the wave of fan praise, his 79th birthday became another display of the fitness image that has followed him for decades.

Jennifer Aniston, 57, Flaunts Toned Abs in Bikini During Spain Getaway with Boyfriend Jim Curtis [WATCH]

Jennifer Aniston put her fit figure on display during a Monday boat ride in Mallorca, Spain, where she was photographed in a bikini while spending time with boyfriend Jim Curtis. The actress wore a black bathing suit top with pink bottoms for the sunny outing, as reported by Page Six.

She completed the look with sunglasses and a black bucket hat as she relaxed during the getaway. The 57-year-old was also seen showing off her abs while doing planks onboard.

Aniston did more than work out during the boat trip, as she was photographed soaking up the sun and talking with Curtis. The couple appeared to be joined by several familiar faces for the day on the water.

Courteney Cox, Aniston’s former “Friends” costar, was also present for the outing. Pedro Pascal and Judd Apatow were among the pals who joined the group.

The group spent the day relaxing on lounge chairs, kayaking and snorkeling. Their boat ride offered a mix of downtime, conversation and water activities in the same Spanish destination where Aniston and Curtis previously drew attention.

Aniston’s relationship with Curtis first made headlines in July 2025 when they vacationed in the same location. Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, were also part of that Mallorca trip.

After that, Aniston and Curtis were seen repeatedly on date nights. The “Morning Show” star later made the romance Instagram official in a quieter way in September 2025.

Two months after that post, Aniston publicly marked Curtis’ birthday with affectionate words. She wished her “cherished” boyfriend a happy birthday and called him her “love.”

Aniston also spoke warmly about Curtis while talking to Elle later that same month. In that November 2025 interview, she described the hypnotist, 50, as “extraordinary.”

She also called him “very special,” “very normal” and “very kind.” Those comments offered one of her more direct public glimpses into the relationship.

Curtis later shared rare details about their connection during an appearance on the “Today” show in January. He said they were “introduced by friends.”

He explained that they “started to just chat” and “chatted for a long time” before their bond became “close.” When asked when they officially became a couple, Curtis answered, “It took a long time. A long time. Months now, almost close to a year.”

Aniston has been married twice before. Her former husbands are Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux.

Theroux showed support for Aniston’s relationship with Curtis last year. He did so by “liking” Aniston’s Instagram hard launch.

Curtis also has a family connection of his own from a previous marriage. He welcomed his teenage son, Aidan, while married to ex wife Rachel Napolitano.

The Mallorca outing put Aniston and Curtis back in a place already tied to public interest in their romance. This time, the trip included friends, sun, fitness and a relaxed day on the water.

For Aniston, the boat ride also showed the same fit physique that drew attention in the photos. Between her bikini look, onboard planks and time with Curtis, the actress appeared to be enjoying the Spanish getaway with a close group around her.

Stassi Schroeder’s Confidence Was Shaken After SpongeBob Comparisons at Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Show [WATCH]

Stassi Schroeder is opening up about how harsh internet commentary affected her after she appeared in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show, as reported by Page Six.

The “House of Stassi” star, 38, spoke exclusively to Page Six Radio on Tuesday morning about walking the runway and dealing with the reaction that followed.

“The first year was really amazing,” she told co-hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real. “The second year, the trolls got to me.”

According to Schroeder, online critics focused on her “rectangle” body and compared her physique to SpongeBob SquarePants.

Schroeder said the haters were “not wrong,” but the comments still left her questioning whether she wants to return to the magazine’s annual fashion show for a third year in a row.

The “Vanderpump Rules” alum first walked in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit show in 2025, then returned to the catwalk in May during Miami Swim Week.

For her second appearance, she joined names including Alix Earle, Tiffany Haddish and Bethenny Frankel.

Even though the negative feedback made her feel “just a little insecure,” Schroeder said the actual experience of being part of the show was positive.

She described the event as empowering and praised the women involved, saying the atmosphere had a strong girl power feeling and that people were lifting each other up.

That mix of public praise and public criticism is not new for Schroeder, who has spent years in the spotlight.

In 2020, after eight seasons on Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules,” she and longtime co-star Kristen Doute were fired when their past racist actions against a former cast member resurfaced.

Schroeder has since worked on rebuilding her public life and career.

She married Beau Clark, 46, and the couple has two children, Hartford, 5, and Messer, 2.

She also became a New York Times bestselling author with her books “Next Level Basic” and “Off with My Head.”

More recently, Schroeder returned to reality television with Hulu’s “House of Stassi,” marking another major step in her comeback.

As for the online hate, Schroeder said she has gotten “really good” at handling it and noted that there are now “few things” that still bother her.

“If you believe all of the positive stuff you read, that means you have to believe all the negative stuff you read,” she said. “So, I just don’t believe anything.”

Because she has been famous for over a decade, Schroeder said she understands how quickly public opinion can swing.

“One minute people love you, the next they hate you,” she said.

“House of Stassi” is currently streaming on Hulu.

Shania Twain Says Her Parents ‘Kicked Around’ Her and Sisters in ‘Very Violent’ Childhood Home [WATCH]

Shania Twain is opening up about the violence she says shaped her childhood, describing a home where fights between her mother and stepfather often became physically terrifying, as reported by Page Six.

The “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” singer, 60, said she and her sisters, Jill and Carrie Ann, grew up around repeated conflict between their mom, Sharon, and stepdad, Jerry Twain, in Ontario, Canada.

Speaking on Thursday’s episode of NPR’s “Wild Card with Rachel Martin,” Twain said the violence was not limited to the adults in the house.

“They loved each other. They went through so many ups and downs together, but they fought a lot, and they got violent often,” Twain said.

When Rachel Martin asked whether that violence also reached Twain and her sisters, Twain answered directly.

“Yeah, with me too,” she said.

“If I was standing in the wrong place at the wrong time, definitely,” she continued.

“I mean, both my parents were pretty harsh physically. We definitely got smacked around a lot, and kicked around sometimes, literally kicked around.”

Twain, who was born Eilleen Edwards, said her parents caused the most harm to each other, while recalling how extreme the fights inside the home could become.

“It was very violent. So my mom, you know, she would lose clumps of hair. She was bruised often in the face and … it was pretty bad sometimes. I mean, our house would shake. Those walls would shake,” she recalled.

“It’s very traumatic. It gets loud and scary, like a really bad thunderstorm.”

The country icon said Sharon repeatedly tried to leave Jerry, but according to Twain, the family was never able to stay away permanently.

“My mother did often try to leave. She did leave; we did leave, but he’d always find us, or she’d always give in and go back,” Twain said.

“It was a cycle.”

Sharon divorced Twain’s biological father, Clarence Edwards, when the future singer was 2. She later married Jerry Twain, who adopted Shania and her sisters.

Twain was 22 when Sharon and Jerry died in a car crash near Wawa, Ontario, on Nov. 1, 1987. At the time, her music career was beginning.

The “You’re Still the One” singer has previously spoken about her childhood, including in her 2011 memoir “From This Moment On.”

In that book, Twain alleged that Jerry physically and emotionally abused her for years. She also said she watched him repeatedly beat her mom.

Twain recalled one incident in which she struck Jerry with a chair while he attacked Sharon. She said he then punched her in the jaw.

Twain also alleged that Jerry sexually abused her beginning when she was 10 years old.

In 2018, she told the Guardian, “I feel the sexual abuse goes hand in hand with the physical and psychological abuse when it’s somebody you know. I learned to block it out.”

On Thursday, Twain also shared a more positive update about her personal life. She told People that open communication has been important in her 15-year marriage to Frédéric Thiébaud.

Tony Romo Placed on Leave From CBS Sports Following OWI Arrest [WATCH]

Tony Romo has been put on leave from CBS Sports after his arrest for allegedly driving while intoxicated in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as reported by Page Six.

“Tony Romo is on leave from his role at CBS Sports until further notice,” a network rep told Page Six on Friday, a little more than a week after the retired NFL star was arrested.

Romo has not publicly addressed the matter. His representatives also have not responded to repeated requests for comment.

The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback moved into broadcasting after retiring from football in April 2017. He currently works as CBS Sports lead NFL game color analyst.

The traffic stop happened last Thursday after a Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office deputy pulled Romo over for “unsafe passing” while he was driving south on the high-rise bridge.

According to the report, the 46-year-old appeared confused about why he had been stopped. He said he was headed to his grandparents’ house after spending the day at a golf course.

The arresting deputy told Romo he was being investigated for OWI “based on your driving and where you were coming from” as well as his “red, glassy eyes and the odor of an intoxicating alcoholic beverage on your breath.”

Romo insisted he had consumed “zero” alcoholic beverages. However, the deputy said authorities found “a few shooters” in his backpack.

The California Post also reported that deputies discovered an “open bottle of an alcoholic beverage” on the passenger side of Romo’s car. After that, he was taken to the station.

At the station, Romo struggled during a field sobriety test. Bodycam footage showed him asking if he could stretch before attempting the routine tasks.

He then stretched on one of the patrol vehicles before continuing. At one point, a deputy asked whether he understood the instructions.

“No, there’s too many,” Romo replied. Even though he had trouble following along, he still asked the deputies whether he had passed.

Deputies then asked if he would submit to a breathalyzer. Romo responded, “Oh, no, we’re not doing that. I already heard from all the lawyers: don’t ever do that.”

Romo also asked if he could call his parents. The deputies told him he would be able to do so in due time.

They explained that they would ask a judge to sign off on a warrant for a blood draw. The purpose was to determine what, if anything, was in his system and how much.

Romo has been cited for allegedly operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possessing open intoxicants in his car, unsafe passing and refusing to take a chemical test for intoxication after an OWI arrest.

That refusal triggered the state notice to revoke his driver’s license. However, Romo has requested a refusal hearing.

The arrest marks Romo’s first. He was booked and released shortly afterward, and he is due in court for an intake hearing on Sept. 21.

Romo is married to former Miss Missouri USA Candice Crawford. The couple shares three sons.
