Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro has challenged Elon Musk to a physical fight after the X CEO accused him of election fraud.
Following the disputed presidential election in Venezuela, where Maduro was declared the winner with 51% of the vote despite claims of falsified results, Musk slammed the socialist leader, accusing him of “major election fraud.”
“Maduro, leave! Venezuelans chose to end the communist dictatorship of Nicolas Maduro. The data announce a crushing victory of the opposition, and the world is waiting for you to recognize the defeat after years of socialism, misery, decadence and death,” Musk wrote on his own “X” platform.
And there’s plenty of evidence for what Musk is saying – such as the fact that the votes share tallies add up to over 109%.
On national television, Maduro accused the Tesla owner of “controlling a virtual reality”, and added, “You want to fight? Let’s have it, Elon Musk. I’m ready.”
Musk later accepted the challenge in belief that the Venezuelan President will “chicken out.”
Many on social media expressed disbelief at the absurdity of the situation.
Others predicted a victory for the business magnate.
