MAGA Inc, the powerful super PAC aligned with President Donald Trump, is charging into the Texas Senate battle with a $10 million advertising investment supporting Republican nominee Ken Paxton.
The move marks the group’s first major spending commitment of the midterm campaign.
The money will finance television and digital advertising across Texas as Paxton faces Democratic state Rep. James Talarico.
Recent polling has repeatedly shown the contenders running neck and neck, making the race a prime target for national political spending.
Paxton, the Texas attorney general, secured the Republican nomination after defeating incumbent Sen. John Cornyn in the primary.
Trump endorsed Paxton earlier this year, giving the conservative challenger a crucial boost against a veteran senator with deep establishment connections.
The latest investment makes clear that Trump’s political operation is not taking Texas for granted.
Democrats have poured money into the state for years, hoping demographic predictions and liberal enthusiasm might finally deliver their long-promised breakthrough.

Paxton welcomed the support Saturday while promoting his economic agenda and drawing a sharp contrast with Talarico’s record.
“While James Talarico has a record of raising taxes on working families, my Protecting the Texas Promise Agenda cuts costs and makes life more affordable.”
“Thank you, President @realDonaldTrump, for your support,” Paxton wrote on X.
“Together we will win for Texas and America.”

The spending decision follows weeks of speculation about whether MAGA Inc would enter the closely watched contest.
With roughly $400 million available, the organization has enough financial firepower to shape races well beyond Texas.
Talarico’s campaign responded by accusing wealthy conservative donors of trying to derail what it described as a movement powered by ordinary people.
The Democrat’s complaint arrived despite his own campaign reporting a massive fundraising advantage over Paxton.
Talarico has also attacked wealthy Republican donors expected to attend a midterm convention in Dallas.
“Next week, billionaire mega-donors and their puppet politicians will gather at a convention in Dallas to clink champagne glasses and toast their own corruption,” he said.
The Democrat continued his populist pitch by accusing Republicans of supporting tariffs, tax relief for billionaires, and another prolonged war.
He claimed those policies were helping drive grocery prices higher for working families.
“They’re paying $20,000 for entry to a Billionaire Ball celebrating corrupt tariffs, billionaire tax breaks, and a new forever war that are all driving grocery costs through the roof. We’ll be doing something different.”
“We’re bringing Republicans, Democrats and independents together to collect groceries for our neighbors who have been screwed over by corrupt politicians.”
MAGA Inc is answering with a far less flattering portrait of Talarico.
The organization has labeled him “High Tax Talarico” and plans to focus heavily on his tax proposals and record in the Texas Legislature.
MAGA Inc spokesperson Alex Pfeiffer said the Democrat “wants to take money out of Texans’ pockets. MAGA Inc. is going to ensure Texas knows about Talarico’s radical policies and elects Ken Paxton to the U.S. Senate .”
Fundraising numbers show why outside support could prove important for Paxton.
Talarico has collected $72 million since entering the race while Paxton’s campaign has raised about $16.8 million, according to the Texas Tribune.
WATCH:
The first two advertisements from MAGA Inc target Talarico over taxes and rural hospitals while presenting Paxton as the candidate focused on affordability.
They highlight his support for doubling the child tax credit and expanding tax relief for medical expenses.
The advertisements also promote a proposed $50,000 deduction for people buying their first home.
That gives Paxton a kitchen table message at a time when housing, groceries, health care, and other basic costs remain major concerns for Texas voters.
Trump has openly signaled that he intends to use the super PAC’s enormous reserves aggressively.
Speaking with reporters this week, he called the campaign funds “my money” and added, “I’m going to spend whatever amount of money necessary to try and help us.”
For Republicans, holding the Texas Senate seat is essential to protecting their strength in Washington.
MAGA Inc is betting that a forceful advertising campaign can expose Talarico’s liberal policy agenda, narrow his financial advantage, and send Paxton to the Senate.
