Stephen Miller: Democrats Have Officially Chosen the Jihadists Over American Families [WATCH]

White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller argued that the Democratic Party has embraced political figures and policies that he says are hostile to the United States, pointing to Hasan Piker’s past comments about the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and Democratic proposals targeting federal immigration enforcement.

Speaking to Sean, Miller said the issue is part of the choice being presented to voters following President Donald Trump’s remarks at the Republican convention.

“That’s exactly what is on the ballot, Sean, as the president outlined in his address at the convention yesterday and the day before,” Miller said.

“The Democrat Party has embraced the platform of individuals who fundamentally hate America and hate Americans.”

Miller pointed specifically to Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed’s past appearances with Piker, a political streamer who has become a point of controversy in the Michigan race.

Miller characterized Piker as an increasingly influential figure within Democratic politics.

“You and I have talked about this before. Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan campaigned with, sought the endorsement of, and promoted, along with Bernie Sanders, a man named Hasan Piker, who is the new consultant and strategist for the Democrat Party,” Miller said.

“He is the man they are leaning on to choose their policies, to get support for their candidates.”

Miller then focused on Piker’s statement about the Sept. 11 attacks.

“Hasan Piker said that America and Americans deserve 9/11,” Miller said.

Piker made the “America deserved 9/11” remark during a 2019 livestream and subsequently walked it back.

El-Sayed campaigned alongside Piker during the 2026 Democratic primary but has since distanced himself from the streamer and has said he does not believe the Sept. 11 attacks were justified.

Miller invoked images and accounts from the attacks while arguing that a political party should reject anyone who has made such a statement.

“Sean, you and I have seen, and we can never erase the memory, the videos of Americans leaping to their deaths from the towers to escape certain death by fire, flame, and smoke,” Miller said.

“We’ve heard the stories of people making their final phone calls from the twin towers, from those airplanes.”

“A political party that gets into bed with, that finds common cause with, that joins in concert with a man who says they had it coming and they deserved it is a party that, in a country of conscience, should get zero votes. Zero votes, Sean.”

Miller then shifted from Piker and El-Sayed to immigration enforcement, arguing that proposals to abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement would create a national security threat.

“I can’t believe we’re having this conversation 25 years after 9/11, and you have Democrats preaching hatred for America and pledging to abolish law enforcement?” Miller said.

Miller argued that ICE and U.S. Customs and Border Protection are critical barriers against people seeking to enter the country to carry out attacks.

“Sean, if you abolish ICE, that means terrorists have free rein to get into America and maim and murder Americans,” Miller said.

“Our enemies all over the world are trying to slip in through our airports, slip in through our borders, slip in through our visa programs every day to murder Americans.”

He concluded by portraying immigration enforcement and the broader political debate as directly connected to national security.

“ICE and CBP are the front lines keeping Americans safe,” Miller said.

“The Democrat Party, fundamentally, has sided with the jihadists in the war on terror. That’s where we are right now.”
