FAA Sued for Turning Down Qualified Air Traffic Controllers for Being “Too White”

Hot on the heels of the recent D.C plane crash, a lawsuit alleging that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) turned down qualified air traffic controllers because they were “too white” has resurfaced.

Nearly 1,000  air traffic control applicants were allegedly affected by the diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) hiring practice. The lawsuit, which traces its origins to the Obama administration, resurfaced after the deadly crash that has so far killed over five dozen people.

Andrew Brigida, represented by the Mountain States Legal Foundation (MSLF), is among over 900 applicants who scored 100% on the air traffic controller test but were allegedly turned down because they did not check all the diversity checkboxes.

The plaintiff had graduated from Arizona State University in partnership with the FAA via a program used to select the most qualified controllers. After acing the test, he was subsequently placed on a preferred candidate list before being turned down after the FAA changed the hiring rules.

According to the lawsuit, the FAA changed the hiring process to include a biographical assessment questionnaire, turning down hundreds of qualified applicants before they even showed up. William Perry Pendley, MSFL’s president handling the case, his client received an email stating that the FAA was “implementing changes to improve and streamline” the hiring process and that his application had been impacted.

The assessment not only discriminated on race but also awarded extra points to applicants who performed poorly in maths.

“Nevermind how insulting it was that the government was concluding that this is a way to pool up African Americans into the air traffic control ranks, but that’s all there,” said former Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt. “They did change the test to change the applicant pool.”

In 2018, the FAA dropped the biographical assessment tool after Congress voted against it, requiring applicants to pass the Air Traffic Skills Assessment (ATSA) to demonstrate competence.

Regarding the D.C. plane tragedy, MSFL’s president told the British newspaper, the Daily Telegraph, that “DEI hiring policies have no place in America, especially in safety-critical industries, yet they have shaped the FAA’s hiring decisions for years.

“Last night’s accident is a sobering reminder of the cost of placing ideology over expertise. How many more tragedies must occur before we return to common sense? It’s time to demand accountability, end DEI hiring in aviation, and restore safety as the top priority in our airways.”

However, the FAA contests the lawsuit. It says there was a skill shortage for air traffic controllers and that it was doing its best to ensure no talent was left out.

“There is a well-known national shortage of air traffic controllers, and the FAA has ramped up outreach to ensure no talent is left on the table.”

However, turning down 900 applicants who aced the test does not particularly suggest a talent shortage. Perhaps, there is a talent shortage for individuals who meet a certain demographic criteria.

Vowing to “restore faith in American air travel,” President Trump blamed Biden for lowering standards to the lowest level, resulting in people with “severe intellectual and psychiatric disabilities” being hired to achieve DEI objectives.

“I put safety first,” Trump said, adding that “Obama, Biden, and the Democrats put policy first, and they put politics at a level that nobody’s ever seen, because this was the lowest level, their policy was horrible, and their politics was even worse.”

According to its website, the agency specifically targeted people with “targeted disabilities” during its hiring process.

“Targeted disabilities are those disabilities that the federal government, as a matter of policy, has identified for special emphasis in recruitment and hiring,” the website reads.

Further worsening the hiring crisis before the accident, the New York Times reported that staffing was not “normal for the time of day and volume of traffic.” One air traffic controller had left their post at the time of the accident, leaving one employee to handle both the passenger airplane and the helicopter, a job that would ordinarily require two people.

Trump has ordered a “systematic and comprehensive investigation” to establish the cause of the accident.

In Less than Two Weeks, DOGE Saves Over $1 Billion By Canceling over 100 DEI Contracts

Less than two weeks into Trump’s second presidency, Elon Musk-led the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has slashed over $1 billion by canceling over one hundred “Diversity, Equity & Inclusion” (DEI) contracts. Musk had promised to cut “at least $2 trillion” of the $6.75 trillion federal budget.

Over three-quarters of the recent savings were realized by canceling DEI contracts in just three departments. The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) was the most impacted, of which DOGE slashed $494,956,223. DOGE also saved $228,730,692 from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and $110,618,680 from the Department of Agriculture.

The least savings were from the General Services Administration—Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), which had a spending ceiling of $15,168, and only the administrative costs were saved.

The Department of Treasury had 21 DEI contracts canceled, amounting to over $25 million, followed by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), in which DOGE terminated 15 contracts amounting to over $28 million. The Department of Agriculture, also one of the top-grossing agencies, had 11 DEI contracts canceled.

DOGE has also highlighted other unreasonable expenditures, including $784 million for constructing a new Embassy in South Sudan, one of the youngest nations with a population of slightly above 10 million.

Other potential savings could be realized by defunding Planned Parenthood, which receives nearly $700 million through government health services reimbursements and grants.

Besides DEI spending, Trump and Musk have suggested shutting down entire departments, such as the Department of Education, and returning education responsibilities to the states. In November 2024, Musk also shared Milton Friedman’s vision of a lean government, highlighting agencies that should cease to exist.

They include the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Commerce, the Department of Energy, the Department of Education, the Department of Labor, and the Department of Transportation. Trump’s HHS Secretary RFK Jr. has also suggested scrapping the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).

While these departments earmarked for scrapping might be serving some purpose, DEI programs are an absolute waste of taxpayers’ money. They also affect government efficiency by turning down the most qualified individuals based on unrelated characteristics such as race, gender, and sexual orientation.

Hot on the heels of the recent air tragedy, it emerged that nearly 1,000 FAA air traffic controllers were turned down because they did not meet the DEI hiring criteria despite acing the pre-employment test.

Meanwhile, Musk has a long way to go to achieve his initially projected $2 trillion target, which he later reduced by half. Nonetheless, any savings, especially those linked to destructive ideologies like DEI, are highly welcome. We can only hope that DOGE will accelerate the cancelations as the Trump administration settles in.

Musk must also surmount various challenges, including non-cooperation by senior employees. Recently, USAID’s director of security and his deputy were sent on administrative leave after denying DOGE employees access to its systems, claiming that some did not have the necessary security clearances.

However, DOGE officials say they did not attempt to access classified materials for which they did not have security clearances.

“No classified material was accessed without proper security clearances,” Kate Miller stated.

As DOGE gains steam, such incidents are only likely to increase, hampering its ability to audit government agencies.

Illinois Democrats Allow Criminal Illegal Aliens to Change Names to Evade ICE Deportations

Democrats in Illinois are allowing illegal immigrants, including those who have committed horrific crimes, to change their names to avoid deportation and remain within the state.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, who vowed to fight for illegal immigrants, and Illinois Governor JB Pritzker are also blocking ICE agents from accessing prisons to detain some of the most vile illegal immigrants convicted of serious crimes, including drug offenses, gang affiliation, prostitution, human trafficking, and child sex crimes.

The Trump administration has categorically stated that it was primarily focusing on national security threats and the most dangerous illegal immigrants. However, Democrats in Illinois are preventing those people from being deported. About 300 illegal aliens with ICE detainer requests are in Chicago.

These are not the “farm produce pickers” that Democrats have been talking about, but people wanted for various crimes that the Trump administration wants out of the country.

Recently, the Illinois legislature passed HB 5164, allowing anybody who has resided in the state for three months to change their name. Previously, it required the name change applicant to have resided in the state for at least six months.

However, that is not the most concerning detail, as the law also allows even the most dangerous criminal illegal aliens to change their names. Both chambers approved the measure, which was sent to Gov. Pritzker’s desk for signing last week.

While proponents of the law claim it would help victims of domestic abuse and, of course, transgender individuals to feel safer, it did not exempt criminal illegal aliens with a history of violent crimes.

“There are residents in our state who do not feel safe when they are an adoptee; they’re transgender; they’re an immigrant; they’re a survivor of domestic violence, survivor of sexual exploitation and human trafficking,” Democrat State Senator Ram Villivalam, the sponsor of the bill, said.

“So they would like to change their name, and in doing so, we need to remove as many barriers as we can to ensure their health and safety.”

However, allowing illegal immigrants to change their names will effectively enable them to evade ICE raids, as the name change may not have propagated through all systems when the immigration officers descend on the correctional facilities.

“Is this creating a loophole for people who are here, who are criminals and part of things involved in the trafficking, involved in all of these nefarious activities that we’ve been reading about?” GOP State Senator Sue Rezin asked.

According to State Senator Andrew Chesney, the passage of the law allows “illegal immigrants who have committed serious crimes” to “simply change their names, making it difficult for law enforcement or immigration officials to track them down.”

However, Democrats continue to pat themselves on the back by claiming that the law allows people who feel unsafe to feel more secure.

“As people continue to feel the hate, feel the discrimination, get targeted, we need to continue to take these steps to make sure they feel healthy and safe,” said Villivalam.

The name change petitioners were also slapped with a lenient maximum fee of $25. The court can also waive the charge “for good cause shown,” allowing the law to be abused.

It also exempts the petitioners from publicly disclosing the name change, meaning most people would not know about it. It also allows name changers to exclude their home addresses, making them totally untraceable.

Obama and Hillary Clinton’s Top Aide Convicted of Child Sexual Abuse

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton’s former senior aide has been sentenced to over a decade in prison for child sexual abuse. Rahamim Shy, 47, was arrested in the United Kingdom while traveling from New York to Bedford, England, in February 2024 to meet a nine-year-old girl and commit horrific sexual crimes on a minor, the BBC reported.

For around a month, Shy spoke to a woman called “Debbie,” who claimed to be the 9-year-old’s grandmother. However, she was an undercover police officer working for the protection of minors from sexual exploitation.

According to the Crown Prosecution Service that prosecuted the case, the senior Democratic adviser planned to “commit unspeakable acts against a child for his own sexual gratification.”

Through messaging apps, the Democrat detailed the disturbing acts he was planning to commit on the minor. He also said that nine years was a “tad late,” suggesting that he was more interested in much younger children. Nevertheless, he felt honored to be the 9-year-old’s “first” sexual encounter.

Police also searched his luggage and found toys and condoms, which they said proved he was serious about committing the described horrific acts on a child. Shy’s phone also contained child sex materials, which proved he was sexually obsessed with children.

“Rahamim Shy is a predator who was fully prepared to commit unspeakable acts against a child for his own sexual gratification,” said Lorraine Telford, a Child Protection Services (CPS) officer, who testified during the prosecution.

Telford added that based on Shy’s online conversations, the American had fully demonstrated his sole intention of traveling to commit rape on vulnerable children.

However, his defense argued that he was exempt from prosecution because the crime occurred while he was in the United States, away from the jurisdiction of English courts.

However, the prosecution demonstrated that English courts had the jurisdiction to try cases that would have resulted in crimes in England, the actual existence of the child notwithstanding.

Shy was subsequently found guilty of arranging to commit a child sex offense, specifically rape and being in the possession of child porn. He was sentenced to 11 and a half years in prison.

Shy is hardly the first Democrat to be busted on child sexual abuse. Recently, an anti-Trump gay activist and Democratic National Convention (DNC) delegate, Matthew Inman, was arrested after planning to meet and commit horrific sexual acts on a nine-year-old boy.

Like Shy, Inman had been communicating with an undercover officer who pretended to be the child’s father. The gay activist and DNC delegate expressed his intention of sexually abusing the minor and sent child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the undercover officer.

Unlike Shy, who is likely to serve half of his 11.5-year prison sentence, Inman stares directly at the prospect of serving anywhere between half a decade and two decades in a federal prison.

Nonetheless, the punishment for child sexual abuse remains lenient enough to allow predators to complete their sentences and leave prison in time to commit more sexual crimes against children.

President Trump had proposed imposing the death penalty on child molesters, while only a handful of states, like Florida, have the law on their books.

Whitmer’s Michigan Ranks Among The Worst States For Unemployment Rate Change

If nothing else, Michigan can claim it’s not the worst state in the republic. A new analysis of the state’s unemployment situation ranked Michigan among the states with the worst changes in their unemployment rates. According to a new review from the personal finance site WalletHub, the Wolverine State ranked No. 48, ahead of only Kentucky, Nevada and South Carolina. Nationally, South Dakota, Connecticut, and New Hampshire are ranked as the states with the best unemployment rate changes.

WalletHub compared all 50 states and the District of Columbia to understand how unemployment rates are changing nationwide. It used six key metrics and compared unemployment rate statistics from December 2024, the latest available data, to key dates in 2019, 2020, 2023 and 2024. “Michigan’s No. 48 ranking in unemployment indicates some ongoing struggles in the state’s job market,” WalletHub writer and analyst Chip Lupo told The Midwesterner via email.

“While the unemployment rate of 5.0% isn’t the highest, it reflects a 3.2% increase from November 2024 and a 21.6% rise compared to December 2023,” Lupo added. “These numbers point to persistent challenges in Michigan’s economy, suggesting that the state is still dealing with significant employment issues despite overall economic growth. Factors like inflation and shifts in the job market likely play a role in this trend.” Michigan’s jobless numbers are among the worst in the country, and state labor officials conceded that after three consecutive years of jobless rate declines, the state’s annual average unemployment rate rose during 2024.

Sen. Ron Johnson Moves to Expose Fauci’s COVID-Era Emails with Subpoena

Sen. Ron Johnson isn’t wasting any time now that Republicans hold the Senate. The Wisconsin lawmaker, who chairs the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, has officially subpoenaed the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) for crucial documents on vaccine safety, including emails from Dr. Anthony Fauci, as reported by The Blaze.

Johnson announced the move on Wednesday, coinciding with the Senate Finance Committee’s hearing on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nomination for a role at HHS. With Republicans regaining control of the Senate after the 2024 elections, Johnson made it clear that his oversight efforts are just beginning.

“Yesterday, I subpoenaed HHS for documents on the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic — including a subset of Dr. Fauci’s emails — and the development and safety of the COVID-19 vaccines,” Johnson stated.

“Many of these records should have been turned over to me years ago, but the Biden administration opted to keep Congress and the public in the dark.”

Johnson has long called for transparency in federal health agencies, and he didn’t hold back in his latest statement.

“It is well past time to bring accountability and transparency back to our U.S. health agencies,” he wrote on social media, adding that he expects HHS to comply fully with the subpoena.

For years, Johnson has been pressing for answers. He revealed that he had sent approximately 70 oversight letters regarding the federal COVID response, but the Biden administration either ignored or inadequately addressed them.

Now, he’s putting real pressure on officials to respond, giving them a deadline of February 18.

As Johnson turns up the heat, one of the more curious details of the Biden administration’s final days has resurfaced—Joe Biden’s last-minute preemptive pardon for Dr. Fauci. In what many saw as a shield against incoming scrutiny, Biden issued the pardon to protect Fauci from any potential legal fallout under a Trump administration.

In a statement at the time, Biden defended the move, claiming that investigations into Fauci were “baseless and politically motivated” and only served to “wreak havoc on the lives, safety, and financial security of targeted individuals and their families.”

Biden insisted that even innocent individuals suffer lasting reputational damage from such probes, even if they are ultimately cleared.

Fauci, who led the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases for decades, stepped down from his role in 2023. But his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic remains under scrutiny, with Johnson and other Republicans determined to get answers about government policies, vaccine safety, and public health decisions that shaped the nation’s response.

Johnson made it clear before the election that if Republicans took control, subpoenas would follow. “Just days after being named chairman of the Subcommittee, I have kept my word,” he stated. Now, with his first major subpoena issued, all eyes are on whether HHS will comply—or if they’ll continue stonewalling under new leadership in Washington.

Tom Homan Destroys Joy Reid After Immigration Remarks: She’s “Dumber than a Box of Rocks”

Border czar Tom Homan slammed MSNBC host Joy Reid for remarks on the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement efforts, calling her “dumber than a box of rocks.”

The nationwide ICE operations have already led to the arrest of 4,500 violent criminals, including gang members, kidnappers, murderers, and rapists. The efforts are moving quickly to make America’s cities safe again, another promise President Donald Trump is fulfilling.

During Reid’s show, she referred to the raids as “performative,” while New York Attorney General Letitia James said the enforcement actions were “reckless.”

Watch:

Homan responded to the remarks by saying, “She’s dumber than a box of rocks,” referring to Reid.

“What ICE did in Chicago is saved children. What we did in New York today is save children.”

“Just in Chicago alone, we arrested at least nine sexual predators, most of them child sex predators. We took them off the street,” he stated.

Highlighting the concerns over national security and noting the rise in individuals on the terrorist watch list crossing into the U.S. under Biden, Homan said, “Under Biden, we had a 3,500% increase in people on terrorist watch lists. No, we’re saving this nation.”

“We make America safe again. So they need to get out of the way because we’re coming. We’re going to do it. They’re not going to stop us.”

Earlier this week, ICE reported 1,016 arrests and 814 detainers lodged. The surge in illegal crossings under the Biden administration pushed the country to breaking point, and now it is being reversed by Trump.

Reid’s overage of immigration enforcement saw backlash on social media, with many accusing her of downplaying the risks posed by illegal immigration.

Meanwhile, Conservative commentators said Reid’s rhetoric misrepresents the dangers posed by unchecked migration and undermines ICE’s efforts.

Trump Reinstates Military Personnel Who Refused COVID Vax

The Trump administration reinstated service members earlier this week who were previously discharged as a result of the military’s COVID-19 vaccination mandates.

More than 8,000 servicemembers were kicked out of the U.S. military following a 2021 COVID-19 vaccination policy that required everyone within the Biden-Harris administration’s Department of Defense (DoD) receive a dose of the experimental drug. Many of those troops cited religious and personal reasons for their refusal, but were still discharged, according to the Washington Stand.

In an Executive Order posted on Monday, Trump wrote that the “vaccine mandate was an unfair, overbroad, and completely unnecessary burden on our service members.” It is also believed that Trump is working to get “full back pay for each servicemember that was discharged,” another outlet noted.

Keeping To Promises

Trump said during his inaugural address that he would “reinstate any servicemembers who were unjustly expelled from our military for objecting to the COVID vaccine mandate, with full back pay.”

That promise has at least come true in-part with this latest ruling. “Further, the military unjustly discharged those who refused the vaccine, regardless of the years of service given to our Nation, after failing to grant many of them an exemption that they should have received. Federal Government redress of any wrongful dismissals is overdue,” he added in the EO.

Other Military-Related Orders

On the same day, Trump also ordered an Iron Dome for America, similar to that used by Israel to protect from attack by “ballistic, hypersonic, and cruise missiles, and other advanced aerial attacks.”

He further removed those who claim to be “transgender” from service, citing a longstanding DoD policy that servicemembers are ““[f]ree of medical conditions or physical defects that may reasonably be expected to require excessive time lost from duty for necessary treatment or hospitalization.”

“For the sake of our Nation and the patriotic Americans who volunteer to serve it, military service must be reserved for those mentally and physically fit for duty.  The Armed Forces must adhere to high mental and physical health standards to ensure our military can deploy, fight, and win, including in austere conditions and without the benefit of routine medical treatment or special provisions,” the order added.

Finally, Trump reinstated a meritocracy-based approach wherein no “individual or group within our Armed Forces should be preferred or disadvantaged on the basis of sex, race, ethnicity, color, or creed.”

“President Trump has delivered on yet another of his campaign promises. His executive order will restore the American people’s faith and confidence in our military by offering the opportunity for those who were unfairly and improperly discharged to return to military service. Along with Secretary of Defense [Pete] Hegseth, President Trump is taking bold, decisive steps to make our military great again,” Center for Litigation at the America First Policy Institute executive director Michael Berry told the Washington Stand.

Meta Employees Restock Men’s Bathrooms with Tampons in “Subtle Rebellion”

Transgender Meta employees are silently protesting Mark Zuckerberg’s decision to remove tampons from men’s bathrooms by bringing theirs from home and restocking the company’s supplies.

Shortly after Trump’s victory, Zuckerberg announced various policy changes, including the restoration of freedom of speech, allowing users to freely discuss gender identity issues without violating the platform’s “Hateful Conduct” policy.

The company also embarked on a process to realign its operations in accordance with the new ideological outlook. Part of that involved removing tampons from the men’s bathrooms, a decision that angered transgender male employees, that is, women who identify as men.

According to the New York Times, those employees started bringing their own tampons and restocking men’s bathrooms with the female sanitary products. “Quietly but unmistakably, the tampons, liners and pads reappeared in many of the men’s bathrooms at Meta’s offices,” the NYT reported, describing their return as a “quiet rebellion that Silicon Valley workers have staged as they grapple with the rightward shift of their bosses.”

Additionally, another group started circulating a petition to return female sanitary products to male bathrooms. However, Meta’s vice president of workplace services dashed their hopes by stating that the company had no intention of revisiting the issue.

It remains unclear if Meta removed female sanitary products from women’s bathrooms. If not, the female employees who identify as men are at liberty to access them without restrictions. This differs greatly from men identifying as women trying to access female bathrooms. In fact, women who identify as men but still need tampons should avoid men’s bathrooms for their safety.

Meta may be at a loss on whether or how to remove the restocked tampons in male bathrooms without risking a lawsuit. However, it could impose a policy prohibiting employees from refilling the company’s supplies with personal products as a safety measure.

With many tech companies reducing their workforce, Meta might not fear losing a few employees who do not feel welcome or adequately accommodated. The company has already slashed its workforce by a third and still plans to fire more in the coming months.

Subsequently, Meta should consider having fewer employees who aggressively impose their personal ideology on everybody to avoid potential frivolous lawsuits. Doing so would also enhance a conducive teamwork environment where other employees do not have to walk on eggshells.

Nonetheless, the employees’ “subtle resistance” contrasts sharply with their vocal pro-liberal outbursts that marked Trump’s first term in office. With the hiring frenzy over, tech companies have reasserted their control and are not shy of shedding employees involved in active activism against the companies’ interests.

For example, Google fired 28 employees who opposed the company’s contract with the Israeli government. Nine employees were also arrested for trespassing in the company’s two offices, marking the end of an era where pro-Left employees called the shorts.

Tech companies have also embraced Trump in his second term, in what the Times called “a major departure for a tech industry that has typically leaned left and liberal.” Nonetheless, the impacts of their pro-liberal policies over the last decade will take years to fully undo.

“The View” Hosts Meltdown Over Trump’s Youngest Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made her first appearance in the briefing room on Tuesday, marking a historic moment as the youngest person to ever hold the position at just 27 years old.

Leavitt, who has promised a fresh approach emphasizing transparency and engagement with non-traditional media, addressed reporters for the first time in her new role.

However, instead of discussing her qualifications or policy approach, the hosts of The View sparked controversy by making comments about Leavitt’s appearance, drawing criticism from viewers and commentators who called their remarks sexist and dismissive.

During a segment discussing Leavitt’s appointment, The View co-host Joy Behar made a remark implying that Leavitt was selected for her looks rather than her experience. “I think she’s probably been put in there because, according to Donald Trump, she’s a ‘10,’” Behar said. “You know that’s what it is!”

Even as another panelist mentioned Leavitt’s government background, the conversation continued in a dismissive tone, suggesting she would not have earned the position under a different administration.

Whoopi Goldberg also took issue with Leavitt’s remarks in her first briefing. “I would like her to do homework. She said something yesterday that pissed me off, that was, ‘there will be no wokeness here.’ Let me explain, without that wokeness, you might not have that job,” Goldberg said.

The comments quickly ignited backlash, with many criticizing the hosts for undermining Leavitt’s qualifications and reducing her appointment to her physical appearance. Social media users pointed out the double standard, arguing that if a conservative commentator had made similar remarks about a liberal woman in office, there would have been widespread outrage.

“Well, to be fair, there’s not a chance in hell she got her job on The View because of her looks,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“If jobs are based on looks, how did these hosts get on air?” another user remarked.

Despite the dismissive tone of the discussion on The View, Leavitt’s resume demonstrates extensive experience in political communications.

Before being named White House press secretary, she served as the national press secretary for the Trump 2024 campaign. She also worked as the communications director for Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) and previously served as an assistant press secretary in the Trump White House. Additionally, Leavitt has held roles in the White House Office of Presidential Correspondence and was a spokesperson for a pro-Trump super PAC.

Leavitt holds degrees in communications and political science and has developed a reputation as a skilled and articulate conservative voice.

The incident is the latest in a history of The View targeting conservative women with personal attacks.

The talk show has previously drawn criticism for its treatment of figures such as Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Kayleigh McEnany, and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, often dismissing their accomplishments while championing liberal women in similar positions.

Despite the controversy, Leavitt remains focused on her role, stating during her first briefing that she intends to expand media access and include outlets that have been overlooked by previous administrations.

If her first appearance is any indication, Leavitt appears prepared to handle both the responsibilities of her position and the scrutiny that comes with it.
