She of the ramen-noodle-looking hair is upset at the press again. Who? White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre, famous for avoiding answering any specific questions from the press and scolding them instead for being “inappropriate.”
Jean-Pierre was recently “triggered” when she got press questions about allegations that Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio, are kidnapping and eating house pets and ducks and geese that frequent town parks. Her reaction is pretty much the same as the reaction from most government officials and the media: they are not concerned about whether the complaints from Springfield residents are true. They are only interested in shrieking that people are “racist” and “xenophobic” (*yawn*) for daring to suggest that Haitians—who are widely reported to sacrifice and eat cats in Voodoo ceremonies in their home country—might actually be doing something wrong.
Putting on her best schoolmarm/mommy tone of voice, Jean-Pierre lectures reporters about “attacking” a “vulnerable community” in “a hateful way.” No word on whether she considers the Springfield cat, duck, or geese communities to be vulnerable as well. Don’t bother asking if she has any sympathy for the human residents; she doesn’t, obviously.
See for yourself:
What’s got Jean-Pierre upset? Well, what doesn’t. She can put on the aggrieved act on at least two fronts. First, she’s black, so she gets to call any criticism she doesn’t like “racist,” and in America, that kind of dishonest whining works to shut down white people. But she’s also the daughter of Haitian immigrants, and so she’s going to refuse to admit that immigrants from her third-world country are any different from native-born Americans who understand that duck parks are not a meat market.
Indeed, it seems the entire mainstream media is bent on denying that it’s even possible that the 20,000 Haitian migrants dumped unceremoniously on the town of 60,000 in Ohio could do anything wrong or uncivilized. This, despite numerous eyewitness reports from Springfield residents that Haitians are crashing cars and killing people along with snatching up geese and ducks to take home to cook.
Andrew Cuomo does not want you to read this article. He definitely does not want you to watch the above video. He would prefer that you forget his past and let his acts and omissions during the Coronavirus pandemic be lost to posterity, far away from today’s news cycle.
Andrew Cuomo wants you to forget because remembering his past dooms his future aspirations for a political comeback, which includes growing rumblings of a possible run to become the Mayor of New York City. So, he cannot have the horrible truth of his tenure during the pandemic get in the way of his ambition.
That is why Andrew Cuomo was so angry and combative while offering public testimony before the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic this week. That is why he railed against the Subcommittee’s 48-page memorandum detailing how Cuomo’s mismanagement of New York State’s response to COVID-19 cost the lives of over 15,000 seniors exposed to the deadly virus while in nursing homes. That is why he blustered at new findings re-confirming older findings from his own state that his administration played number games with the death toll of those seniors to cover-up his political complicity.
It’s a story of political negligence powered by an insatiable political ambition that, if forgotten, may happen again.
***
Here’s a little hometown trivia for you from my home state, which I often refer to as “The People’s Republic of New York”: the last time an Empire State governor was voted out of office in an election was Gov. Mario Cuomo when a relatively unknown state senator named George Pataki defeated him.
That happened in 1994.
Since then, thirty years of gubernatorial succession has been marred by controversy. Pataki chose not to run for a fourth term amid all-time low approval numbers. His successor, that “f***ing steamroller” Eliot Spitzer resigned as “Client No. 9” to an upscale call girl. Then, Spitzer’s successor, David Paterson, withdrew from his campaign after news broke that his administration improperly intervened in a domestic violence case against one of his closest aides.
Which brings us to Andrew Cuomo. After winning a third term in 2018, Cuomo, who positioned himself as a foil to then-President Donald Trump, found the media spotlight during the pandemic. Indeed, many found reassurance in the routine that Gov. Cuomo’s daily televised briefings developed into in the spring of 2020. Meanwhile, others fell for Andrew’s appearances on his brother’s primetime show, dubbed by some as the “Cuomo Brothers Comedy Hour” on CNN).
As Andrew Cuomo reveled in his new-found popularity, he parlayed his stewardship during the pandemic into financial opportunities, like his weird “flatten the curve” poster that he took much pride in creating, and his multi-million-dollar book deal. He even won an Emmy, for goodness sakes.
On the surface, the summer of 2020 became the summer of the “Cuomosexual.”
Yet, underneath the bella figura Cuomo and his staff created for him laid a hubris beyond imagining that left a trail of failure, mismanagement, and, according to the opinion of many, death in his wake.
In the infancy of the pandemic in March of 2020, Cuomo and his Department of Health issued a flurry of advisories intended to guide hospitals and health care facilities. On March 25, 2020, Cuomo, having already withdrawn a nursing home’s ability to deny care to an incoming patient, further ordered that “[n]o resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the [nursing home] solely based on a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID19.” Cuomo further ordered that “[nursing homes] are prohibited from requiring a hospitalized resident who is determined medically stable to be tested from COVID-19 prior to admission or re-admission.”
That latter directive not only ran counter to federal guidelines issued by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), but also to common sense. What kind of a “leader” would mandate in a prohibition on testing for a novel virus during a pandemic?
The effect of this now-infamous advisory was tragic. Effectively, Cuomo forced the most vulnerable population of New Yorkers to be heavily exposed to a deadly virus.
Oftentimes, it is not a poor political choice that does in a politician. It’s the cover-up that follows. Such is the case here, as Cuomo and his administration compounded his errors in judgment by lying about the true extent of the death toll that his Orders caused. In January of 2021, New York’s own attorney general, Letitia James, issued a report finding that Cuomo’s administration and his Department of Health undercounted nursing home resident deaths by approximately 50 percent.
But, even these tens of thousands of deaths were not enough to taint Cuomo and his legacy to the point of political radioactivity. Though damaged by the nursing home scandal, Cuomo persevered to the dismay of many. It was only after a boatload of claims of sexual harassment came to light thanks to a second report from AG James detailing inappropriate and unwanted advances of affection from Cuomo that he ultimately resigned in disgrace.
Gone was the praise and the fame. Gone was the book deal. And even the Emmy, which the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences stripped Cuomo of the day after he resigned.
Cuomo laid low for years to allow the shock and shame subside; to allow his disgrace to fall into the memory-hole. He began to re-emerge in 2023, taking media appearances again. He appeared on friendly media who seemingly chose to enable their disgraced friend. Friends like Anthony Scaramucci, who sat idly by as Cuomo painted himself as the victim of a conspiracy, allowing Cuomo to lash out at the families of loved ones lost during the pandemic who had since become politically engaged. “The attacks are just vicious. Vicious!: Cuomo proclaimed with a face of disgust.“ ‘You didn’t care about people in nursing homes.’ How dare you suggest such a vile thing?”
Cuomo’s re-emergence in the fall of 2023 coincided with whispers indicating to allies of his interest in running for New York City mayor if fellow Democrat Eric Adams would become entangled within the federal investigations that have once again cropped up in the news cycle.
It’s a shame for Cuomo that those “vile” family members never relented in spreading the truth about him. The perseverance of organizations like Voices for Seniors and other notable personalities like Fox News’s Janice Dean culminated into the release of the Subcommittee’s memo, which detailed just how deep Cuomo and his staff’s cover-up of their mismanagement went. It turns out that Cuomo knew that nursing homes presented a real risk of infection, calling it a “nightmare” scenario. Yet, his administration still issued that March 25 Order, thus perpetuating that nightmare scenario.
To this day, even Cuomo wants us to believe he doesn’t know who signed off on the March 25 order; other than, according to his sworn testimony, telling you it was not him. Curiously, that viewpoint runs counter to other Cuomo staffers, including his own Health Commissioner, Dr. Howard Zucker, who testified that during the pandemic, “everything ended up having to go through the Governor’s Office.”
With the insurmountable weight of the Subcommittee’s findings brought to bear, Cuomo remained stubbornly insolent, even refusing to apologize to the gathered audience of those “vile” family members in attendance. Cuomo dismissed such demands as a political stunt.
It is in those moments where Cuomo refused to capitulate that he let his mask slip and reveal his true nature; that he is, at his core, an arrogant, audacious and irredeemable creature of political opportunism. No amount of re-packaging or political window dressing will ever change him.
Seeing this true nature, Rep. Elise Stefanik boldly proclaimed that during a shouting match with Cuomo that “You will never hold elected office again.” I wish I had Stefanik’s confidence, as the voting populace in “The People’s Republic of” New York were fooled once by Cuomo.
Which is why it is so important that we never forget what he did; so we never allow him the opportunity to do anything like that again.

Several “contributors” to Matt Walsh’s new film “Am I Racist?” deleted their X accounts ahead of the film’s premiere.
The film, produced by the Daily Wire, shows Walsh exposing the world of so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices. He attends seminars and events focusing on affirmative action while also conducting interviews with DEI advocates.
“White Fragility” author Robin DiAngelo was among those to deactivate. She features in several scenes within the movie, including one where she awkwardly pays a black producer $30 in reparations (despite being paid $15,000 for the interview). DiAngelo also put out a statement on the film to whine about being misled into doing an interview with Walsh.
“This is a shame. I was hoping she’d stay here so we could celebrate the release of our film together tomorrow,” Walsh wrote on X the day before the film’s debut. “She’s really the star of the movie. She should be proud of her performance.”
Others to delete their accounts included Kate Slater, an “anti-racist scholar” who teachers her four-year-old about racism. She did however responded to the film on Instagram.
“This piece of shit film comes out on Friday,” she wrote on the platform. “If you’re wondering why I’ve been off the radar, it’s because I have an inbox full of angry white men who are incensed that I don’t let my daughter dress as Moana for Halloween.”
Two other people featured in the film, Sarah Rao and Regine Jackson, who host “Race 2 Dinner,” where white women pay an exorbitant amount to be lectured about their racism, also deleted their accounts.
All of those who deleted their accounts are featured in the film’s trailer (at the top of this article).
Many on social media were delighted to see the departures.
Others argued that the film’s interviewees contributed to their own demise.
How much do diversity, equity, and inclusion cost? If you’re the University of North Carolina, $17 million.
That’s how much the state’s university system is saving after shutting down huge swathes of DEI offices and positions in every school in the state network. Just take a look below at the table of North Carolina’s public universities, and how much they saved after ditching DEI.
That’s right, readers! The UNC Board of Governors met on September 11 and voted to cut a total of 59 staff positions and to “realign” another 132 job roles (that appears to mean the employees were sent to work in some other, non-DEI office).
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, or DEI, has become a mind-numbingly common phrase. We hear it everywhere, all the time. At work. On the news. From the lips of politicians. Every “respectable” public figure, official, or institution talks about it as if “DEI” were the most obviously natural goal that every human should be concerned with above and beyond anything else (including academic excellence).
We all know what this is really about: race grifting. DEI is simply a benefits and credentials program for non-white people. It’s anti-white racism that never gets called racism, because Americans have been programmed for so long to believe that the U.S. disenfranchises, impoverishes, or kills black people daily just for the sheer perversity of it. You’d never know in 2024 that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 actually passed, since black race baiters talk as if anti-black racism is worse today than in the days of lynching and Jim Crow.
As far as the white portion of the population goes, the Civil Rights Act may as well never have been passed, as it certainly isn’t used to stop discrimination against white people. It’s a legitimate question whether many Americans actually know that all racism, including the kind against white people, is illegal under the Act. In recent years companies have brazenly advertised jobs for “people of color,” “women,” and “LGBT” as if it were legal to exclude white people, men, or straight people from jobs. It is not legal, but since the law is rarely enforced when the victim is a white person, it has become de facto legal to favor minorities in job hiring.
Let’s see what X users had to say about the news.
This one asks a question. . .
. . . and someone else has an answer.
This guy said the quiet part out loud–no one wants to really admit that DEI is nothing but a scam to extract money from everyone to give to a special, sacred caste.
Alex has a point–DEI watchers are well-advised to keep their eye on this to make sure it’s not just a monetary shell game.
This sounds like the right lateral move for the newly “un-jobbed.”
This story is like that once popular saying, “how it started; how it’s going.”
Ex-CNN Hack Marc Lamont Hill is your typical leftist academic and media commentator. He teaches “urban education” at the City University of New York (CUNY), whatever that means.
Like fellow academic leftists, Hill is very keen for you to know that he is a DOCTOR. Not the kind the stewardess means when she gets on the plane’s intercom to ask for help; we’re talking about the “I have a PhD” kind of doctor. His website displays Dr. Marc Lamont Hill-Journalist/Scholar/Author/Activist. A renaissance man, in other words.
There is not a Democrat or leftist policy Hill does not like, and there isn’t a right wing or Republican policy position he will endorse. The Democrats should be grateful to have him in their court, as you can’t buy the kind of loyalty Hill gives to Kam Kam Harris’ joyful campaign for president.
As the Harris campaign tries to sell the country’s least popular vice president in history as the solution to what ails America (even though she’s been in office co-ailing the country with Biden these four years), critics are pointing out her extreme and radical policies. It’s one thing to lean to the left, but we’re talking about something much bigger.
Take Harris’ position on whether the U.S. government should pay for so-called “gender transition” surgeries for illegal aliens stuck in prison. Yes, you read that right. During his first debate with Harris on ABC on September 10, Donald Trump claimed that’s exactly what Harris wants—to take taxpayer dollars to do Frankenstein sex-swaps on illegal border jumpers who land themselves in prison. (As an aside, it’s astonishing to even contemplate an illegal alien in a U.S. prison since border-jumpers seem to be above the laws governing ordinary mortal Americans who were born here.)
Marc Lamont Hill just cannot believe how crazy—crazy, we tell you!—Donald Trump must be to make such a bizarre claim.
Mr. Hill, you may want to take your complaint up with Kam Kam, because Trump was telling the truth. Yes, Virginia, Kamala Harris really does want taxpayer money to do sex-changes on Jose from El Salvador.
Price’s linked to the following article, ironically from CNN (posted below) confirming it. It seems unlikely that the rabidly pro-Democrat network would get this one wrong; it must have pained them to have to admit that Cacklin’ Kamala really is that much of a moonbat.
CNN’s Erin Burnett was visibly shocked on air to learn that Harris did in fact support this.
“She actually said she supported that?” Burnett asked CNN colleague and the author of the above article Andrew Kaczynski (no relation to the other Kaczynski) when he explained her support for “taxpayer-funded gender care and transition surgeries for detained migrants.” Kaczynski confirmed that this was true – and that she supported it for federal prisoners too.
Never fear, X is here! Social media users were johnny on the spot to help Mr. Hill out. One might even say they were helping him to “educate himself.”
A CNN focus group member in the swing state of Pennsylvania said she plans to vote for Donald Trump as her “life was better when Trump was in office.”
CNN coordinated a focus group among voters in Erie County, PA, which many consider to be a pivotal battleground in the upcoming presidential election. Pennsylvania’s 19 electoral college votes are essential for both Trump and Kamala Harris if either wants to win the race to the White House, with Erie County notable for being a jurisdiction which could tip the result in favor of either candidate.
All 12 voters were undecided prior to the presidential debate on Tuesday, September 10.
Among them was one woman, who previously voted for Trump and said the debate had convinced her to once again support the GOP candidate.
“I think it’s important to remember that we’re voting for the leader of our country. Not who we like the most, or who we want at our wedding party, but [the candidate] who is actually going to make our country better,” she told the network. “We’re in an incredibly unique situation where we’ve had both of the candidates in office before, and we’ve gotten to see what they would do.”
“When facts come to facts, my life was better when Trump was in office,” she added, noting a stronger economy, lower inflation, and the risk of re-electing Harris to “fix the problems that her administration has caused.”
One part that stood out from the debate was when Harris was asked if voters were better off than when the Biden-Harris administration took office – and replied in length to everything except that question.
Many agreed with the voter on social media.
Others were deeply critical of the Democratic nominee.
Donald Trump used one of Kamala Harris’ own tricks against her in the first presidential debate between the two.
The debate, which is the only scheduled head-to-head between the two at this moment in time, featured muted microphones to minimize shouting matches throughout the 90-minute affair. Although the television audience could only hear muffled comments when the mics were off, the overlap in words proved distracting for those in the studio.
Many speculated that Harris didn’t want mics to be muted because it would prevent her from making a snarky remark that the liberal media could turn into the “line of the night.” Her “I’m speaking” moment during her 2020 debate with Mike Pence comes to mind. In her only memorable moment from that debate (because she has no real substance), Harris said; “Mr. Vice President, I’m speaking,” when Pence interrupted her.
Instead, mics were muted – and it was Trump to deliver her own line to her.
As Trump discussed Harris’ previous support for defunding the police, the Democrat said “that’s not true” into her muted microphone.
“Wait a minute, I’m talking now if you don’t mind. Please. Does that sound familiar?” Trump replied to a stunned Harris.
Trump’s comments were a reference to the 2020 vice presidential debate between Harris and Mike Pence.
Social media held widespread praise for the former president.
Another commentor was relieved that Harris had been muted.
Vice President Kamala Harris was once recognized by everyone as the most liberal Senator of all. The liberal site Govtrack itself recognized this, until it changed its ranking system, likely to remove the “stigma” from Harris. The site has a snotty aside about how dumb “right wing media” are trying to make their action look nefarious.
Psst: Govtrack—we don’t believe you. It’s you who make yourselves look nefarious.
Now in 2024, Kam-Kam has been elevated to the status of secular Democratic saint, even though she was plopped in as the Democrats’ nominee when senile Joe Biden decided to drop out of the race. She came in dead last in the 2019 Democratic primaries causing her to drop out of the 2020 race, and she has managed to become the Dems’ nominee without having to face a single challenger in a primary or earn even one Democrat vote.
It is no surprise, then, that Kamala Harris feels bold and confident about her socialist, anti-freedom agenda. She’s like a clone of Biden, but even more radical. It was Biden’s Centers for Disease Control that took the unprecedented and highly unconstitutional step of effectively nationalizing the private landlord-tenant rental market during the pandemic. Remember when the CDC decided that it had the right to force landlords to continue housing tenants no matter what, even if they didn’t pay the rent, because evicting them would create a “public health” problem?
It was a move few of us ever thought could happen in America, but it did, and a cultural and legal precedent was set that we are going to continue to pay for.
Now, Harris is telling the world exactly what she’s going to do to put the screws to landlords and the entire housing market:
That’s right. Kamala believes she has the right to set prices on rents, and that she gets to decide what an “unfair” rent raise might be. As long as you frame it as Bad Corporations against Good Working Families, disastrous rent control policies that always kill the housing market will suddenly become good things, right?
Opposition to rent control is practically universal among economists. When the University of Chicago polled the nation’s top economists on their opinions of it, only a whopping 1% of economists favored rent control once answers were weighted for confidence.
Or as even the liberal Washington Post puts it in a headline; “The one issue every economist can agree is bad: Rent control.”
Let’s see what the internet has to say, and why not start at the top?
Uh-oh! Literal-minded liberals are having big trouble with understanding memes and humor again.
Ah, Kamrade Harris is looking revolutionary today!
The town of Springfield, Illinois, has been inundated with so many “immigrants” from Haiti in recent years the population has swelled by one third. Haiti is, of course, a third-world country and a failed state. Successive corrupt governments and lack of infrastructure and education mean that Haitians live a hardscrabble life, and the kinds of values one develops living hand to mouth don’t fit in well with those you find in ordinary American midwestern towns.
The U.S. has granted Haitians a special protected status that lets them stay in the U.S. because conditions in their country are so poor. But there is no such special protected status for American citizens who say their communities simply cannot absorb (in this case, 20,000 Haitians poured into Springfield, a town of 60,000) that many foreigners without life breaking down.
Now, the fight is on between people in Springfield and the Democrats and the media. Some in Springfield are claiming that some of the Haitians are killing and eating house cats as well as decapitating ducks at city parks to take home and eat. There’s a video circulating that purports to show a Haitian woman being arrested after killing and eating a cat. There’s another video of a local man complaining to city government that the Haitians are going down to parks and killing ducks for food.
So, we have actual residents on camera telling public officials this is going on, but media from the New York Times on down to the local level is all pretending that it’s not real. They’re coming right out and saying it, calling these claims “racist,” or suggesting that it’s just something cooked up by right wingers and capitalized on by Donald Trump.
But regardless of whether the claims about cats and ducks are true, Springfield really has been overrun by third-world refugees. Why? Author John LeFevre discussed this on Twitter/X:
Figures, doesn’t it? I’m sure we’ll be told soon by some Paper of Record that these 320,000 people don’t actually exist, and if they do, anyway, it’s a good thing.
Here’s what Twitter/X users had to say in response:
This one has a good point:
This is what burns so many people up; their own government paid for by local tax dollars is on the side of foreigners, and makes sure to do PR for them by calling them “legal.”
The GOP has long unfairly been stereotyped as a party for old white men by its critics.
Long-standing beliefs typically portray younger voters as more liberal compared to their parents, with conservatism rising among older age groups. However, a New York Times/Siena poll found that nothing could be further from the truth.
A poll of 1,374 respondents found a roughly equal split among Republican, Democrat and independent voters with approximately 30% in each category.
37% of women are registered Democrat compared to just 21% of men, according to the poll. 35% of male respondents identified as Republican (29% for women) while men were also more likely to be independent voters by a nine percentage point split.
And, most surprising of all, as Michael Tracey notes, is that the demographic that now identifies most with Democrats are voters age 65+ (with only 37% identifying with Democrats), while the demo that identifies least with Democrats is voters age 18-29 (of which only 22% identify with Democrats).
Meanwhile, Republicans get an identical 37% support from the age 65+ demographic, and 26% support in the 18-29 demo.
Whenit comes to voter enthusiasm, those age 65+ were also the most enthusiastic about the upcoming election, correlating with their support for Donald Trump. While party identification is now identical for both parties in the 65+ demo, Trump is pulling more support overall than Harris.
Younger voters have historically supporter Democrats, and this polling doesn’t necessarily mean that’s going to change in 2024, because a large share of the 18-29 demo is likely unaffiliated but left-leaning.
That being said, Harris is on track to receive significantly less support from the younger demo that Biden. When looking at voters under age 35, Biden won that demo by 21-points – but polling right after Harris was made nominee showed she’d only win that demo by 9 points. Bear in mind the “honeymoon effect” was live during that poll.
Many on social media were surprised by the Democrats’ continued support among older voters.
Others noted the trend among younger voters.
