Springfield Police Chief Slammed For Refusing To Answer Reporter’s Questions

The police chief of Springfield, Ohio, has come under fire for refusing to answer reporter questions in relation to reported threats of violence in the town.

Springfield was thrust into the national spotlight at the start of September amid allegations that Haitian migrants were eating pets. Since then, the town has become a metaphor for the country’s growing problems related to as crime and immigration.

A series of violent threats have since plagued the residents. A shooting was threatened at Clark State College on Saturday, Sept. 14 – one day before a bomb threat was sent to the same school – forcing the campus to close for virtual learning this week instead.

Springfield Police Chief Allison Elliott held a press conference on Sunday, Sept. 15 regarding the threats. However, she provided little information beyond what local law enforcement had already confirmed, and refused to take any questions on the threats. When one reporter asked whether the threats were related to each other or the heightened attention on the town, Elliott responded, “Again, we are not taking questions at this time.”

Protests from reporters were met with the city manager’s media office offering to respond via email.

It later turned out that the bomb threats and shooting threats were all hoaxes.

At a press conference, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine said that all 33 bomb threats against schools in Springfield were hoaxes from overseas. “There have been bomb threats, each one of which has been responded to, and each one of which has been found as a hoax. So 33 threats, I will make that very, very clear, none of these had any validity at all,” DeWine said.

Many on social media were equally critical over the lack of transparency from Chief Allison Elliot.

The issue of immigration was also a popular talking point.

Woman Who Smiled During Hearing Over Killing Of Three-Year-Old Boy Sent To Rehabilitation Clinic

A woman accused of stabbing a three-year-old boy to death has been sent to a rehabilitation clinic by a Democrat judge.

Bionca Ellis, 33, was deemed not fit to stand trial for the killing of thee-year-old Julian Wood outside a Cleveland, OH, grocery store on Wednesday, June 3, 2024.

Prosecutors say Ellis was inside the Giant Eagle store when she spotted Wood with his mother, Margot. As the mother was loading her groceries into her vehicle, Ellis charged towards the pair with a knife, fatally stabbing the child.

On Friday, Sept. 13, Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge John Russo said Ellis – seen smiling during court proceedings in June – would remain hospitalized indefinitely until she is deemed fit to stand trial.

While the position as judge for the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas General Division is nonpartisan, he did run in the Democrat primary for the position before running unopposed.

A preliminary trial date of Dec. 9 has been scheduled, with Ellis’ bail set at $5 million dollars.

Many were critical of the judge’s decision on social media.

Others called for much stricter punishments.

Kamala Harris Campaign Account Lies Once Again After Donald Trump Issues Warning To Pennsylvania Voters

The Kamala Harris campaign account has been caught lying once again in yet another attack on former president Donald Trump.

Trump was holding a rally in Tucson, AZ, when he was discussing a 2,000% increase in the population in the borough of Charleroi, PA. Trump attributed this to a large influx of Haitian migrants under the Biden-Harris administration.

“So, Pennsylvania, remember this when you go to vote: 2,000% increase,” Trump said. “This is a small town, and all of a sudden they’ve got thousands of people.”

The Kamala HQ account, which regularly posts attacks on the former president, tried to deceive voters by editing the clip as to appear that Trump was confused about his audience, claiming that Trump thought he was in Pennsylvania despite being speaking in Arizona. However, social media users quickly highlighted the attempted deception.

Check out the full clip below, where you can see that Trump was talking about thousands of Haitians being dumped on a small town of Pennsylvania, telling the crowd to remember that when they vote.

Many were not surprised by yet another lie from the Kamala HQ account.

Others called for a permanent community note on the Harris campaign account.

Social Media Split Over Alleged ABC Whistleblower’s Affidavit Following Debate

A damning affidavit by an alleged whistleblower regarding the ABC News presidential debate has emerged on social media.

The six-page affidavit was reportedly filed in New York on Monday, Sept. 9 – one day before Donald Trump and Kamala Harris’ televised debate. The anonymous whistleblower, who said they did not endorse the former president, claims to have been an employee for over ten years.

It alleges that “many employees” of ABC questioned the fairness of the debate given the “common knowledge” that both moderators “are well known not to support Donald Trump,” adding that assurances were given to ensure a balanced broadcast.

Section four, pertaining to debate fairness, is the most damning. The affidavit claims the Harris campaign “received particular accommodations” such as a smaller podium for the shorter candidate as well as “assurances regarding split-screen television views” to favorably impact the Vice President.

The document also claims that Trump would be subjected to fact-checking throughout the debate while “Harris would not face comparable scrutiny.” It also alleges that the Democrat’s campaign was provided with sample questions after it imposed restrictions on questions relating to President Joe Biden’s health and Harris’ tenure as San Francisco Attorney General.

You can read the affidavit for yourself below:

Social media users were divided over the affidavit, with many finding the claims “interesting”.

Others, however, were less convinced by its authenticity.

Neither ABC, Trump’s nor Harris’ campaigns are yet to respond to the document.

DEI Activists Delete Social Media Accounts Ahead Of Matt Walsh “Am I Racist?” Movie

Several “contributors” to Matt Walsh’s new film “Am I Racist?” deleted their X accounts ahead of the film’s premiere.

The film, produced by the Daily Wire, shows Walsh exposing the world of so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) practices. He attends seminars and events focusing on affirmative action while also conducting interviews with DEI advocates.

Ahead of the film’s Friday, Sept. 13, release, several interviewees deleted their X accounts.

“White Fragility” author Robin DiAngelo was among those to deactivate. She features in several scenes within the movie, including one where she awkwardly pays a black producer $30 in reparations (despite being paid $15,000 for the interview). DiAngelo also put out a statement on the film to whine about being misled into doing an interview with Walsh.

“This is a shame. I was hoping she’d stay here so we could celebrate the release of our film together tomorrow,” Walsh wrote on X the day before the film’s debut. “She’s really the star of the movie. She should be proud of her performance.”

Others to delete their accounts included Kate Slater, an “anti-racist scholar” who teachers her four-year-old about racism. She did however responded to the film on Instagram.

“This piece of shit film comes out on Friday,” she wrote on the platform. “If you’re wondering why I’ve been off the radar, it’s because I have an inbox full of angry white men who are incensed that I don’t let my daughter dress as Moana for Halloween.”

Two other people featured in the film, Sarah Rao and Regine Jackson, who host “Race 2 Dinner,” where white women pay an exorbitant amount to be lectured about their racism, also deleted their accounts.

All of those who deleted their accounts are featured in the film’s trailer (at the top of this article).

Many on social media were delighted to see the departures.

Others argued that the film’s interviewees contributed to their own demise.

“My Life Was Better Under Trump” – Swing State Voter Goes Republican After Presidential Debate

A CNN focus group member in the swing state of Pennsylvania said she plans to vote for Donald Trump as her “life was better when Trump was in office.”

CNN coordinated a focus group among voters in Erie County, PA, which many consider to be a pivotal battleground in the upcoming presidential election. Pennsylvania’s 19 electoral college votes are essential for both Trump and Kamala Harris if either wants to win the race to the White House, with Erie County notable for being a jurisdiction which could tip the result in favor of either candidate.

All 12 voters were undecided prior to the presidential debate on Tuesday, September 10.

Among them was one woman, who previously voted for Trump and said the debate had convinced her to once again support the GOP candidate.

“I think it’s important to remember that we’re voting for the leader of our country. Not who we like the most, or who we want at our wedding party, but [the candidate] who is actually going to make our country better,” she told the network. “We’re in an incredibly unique situation where we’ve had both of the candidates in office before, and we’ve gotten to see what they would do.”

“When facts come to facts, my life was better when Trump was in office,” she added, noting a stronger economy, lower inflation, and the risk of re-electing Harris to “fix the problems that her administration has caused.”

One part that stood out from the debate was when Harris was asked if voters were better off than when the Biden-Harris administration took office – and replied in length to everything except that question.

Many agreed with the voter on social media.

Others were deeply critical of the Democratic nominee.

Man Ejected From Nancy Pelosi Book Signing After Asking For Financial Advice

A small business owner said he was assaulted by Nancy Pelosi’s security detail after attempting to ask for financial advice – albeit tongue-in-cheek.

Alex Strenger met the former House Speaker at a book signing in Fort Worth, TX, over the weekend.

Sporting a “White Dudes for Harris” t-shirt and a face mask, Strenger initially raised concerns about the prospect of a second Donald Trump presidency and said the former president should “spend the rest of his life” in prison.

“We just have to win the election,” Pelosi responded.

Strenger then tried to ask for financial advice from “the greatest options trader of all time” when he was taken away by Pelosi’s security team.

“I want to know what stocks to buy; I want to close the wealth gap,” he added as he was marched out of the building to a chorus of boos.

Pelosi’s financial dealings are well documented. Her portfolio returned over 700% in the decade up to 2024, and investments made by herself and her husband almost tripled the S&P 500’s returns in 2023 alone. In fact, her reputation as a prolific trader has even paved the way for a Nancy Pelosi Stock Tracker on X (@PelosiTracker_).

In the year 2020, Pelosi was the biggest purchaser of securities in Congress.

We reported here at Wokespy just last June on one single suspect Pelosi trade that netted her $5 million.

Some on social media were desperate to know more about the former speaker’s financial understanding.

Other commentors noted the manhandling by security personnel in response to Strenger’s questions.

Man Joe Biden Once Described As “The Most Dangerous Vice President In American History” Has Endorsed Kamala Harris

Following Vladimir Putin’s lead, former Vice President Dick Cheney joined his daughter in supporting the installed Democratic presidential nominee, Kamala Harris.

“He can never be trusted with power again,” he said in a statement. “As citizens, we each have a duty to put country above partisanship to defend our Constitution. That is why I will be casting my vote for Vice President Kamala Harris.”

Harris responded by saying she’s honored to have the endorsements from the Cheneys, calling them “well respected” leaders who had put country before party. “It’s time to turn the page on the divisiveness. It’s time to bring our country together, chart a new way forward,” she said to reporters.

The Cheney family join an ever-growing list of political families crossing political divisions in the 2024 election campaign.

Both George W. and Jeb Bush have refused to endorse Donald Trump (which, ironically itself is an endorsement of Trump), while Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Malik Obama and much of Tim Walz’s family have broken away from their Democratic roots to support the former president.

Dick Cheney’s support for Harris is particularly interesting given how he was Joe Biden’s predecessor over 15 years ago. As Barack Obama’s running mate, Biden pitched his vision to the American people against then-Alaska Sen. Sarah Palin.

It’s safe to say Biden did not wholly approve of the man who is now endorsing his potential successor.

Back in the 2008 vice presidential debate, Biden blasted Cheney as “[having] been the most dangerous vice president we’ve had in American history.”

At the time, critics of the Bush administration accused Cheney of expanding his vice presidential powers to insert influence over foreign policy, most notably the Iraq War. Biden pledged not to follow suit, instead presenting himself in a more advisory role.

If you didn’t believe in the “uniparty” before – here it is right before your eyes.

Some on social media agreed with Biden’s comments about the dangerousness of Cheney, who once shot a Texas attorney on a hunting trip.

Others noted how Biden had aged over the past 16 years.

Donald Trump’s Interview With Lex Fridman Summarized

Donald Trump sat down with Lex Fridman in his latest interview with an online personality.

The Republican nominee has taken a different approach to tackling the media in his third successive presidential campaign. In addition to mainstream media outlets, Trump has taken to digital media and engaged in hour-long discussions with popular online personalities.

This different approach was the theme for the beginning of the discussion, where Trump said Democratic rival Kamala Harris performed “very poorly” in an interview with CNN at the end of August.

Afterwards, Trump highlighted the issue of mass migration and migrant crime. He said that countries such as Venezuela had witnessed a reduction in crime rates as criminals flock to America.

Foreign policy was also a subject of discussion. The former president praised his administration’s handling of foreign affairs and noted that President Joe Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal led to 13 U.S. soldiers losing their lives.

Trump denied any association with Project 2025 – a Heritage Foundation policy playbook for a second Trump presidency.

“I’ve heard about things that are in there that I don’t like, and there are some things in there that everybody would like,” Trump said. “But there are things that I don’t like at all. And I think it’s unfortunate that they put it out, but it doesn’t mean anything because it has nothing to do with me. Project 2025 has absolutely nothing to do with me.”

Amid Trump’s tour of podcasts, many have speculated over a possible appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience. He denied any tension following Rogan’s support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr., adding that he hadn’t been asked to appear on the UFC commentator’s podcast.

The issue of political convictions cropped up during the hour-long discussion with Trump claiming Hillary Clinton was “lucky” that he chose not to pursue any legal action.

As the interview drew to a close, Trump said he considered the “lack of religion” to be a major issue in today’s America.
