Bondi Opens Full Epstein Investigation Targeting Democrat Power Players

Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Friday that the Department of Justice will open an investigation into several high-profile Democrats and financial institutions linked to Jeffrey Epstein.

Bondi said she has assigned SDNY U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton to lead the effort.

The decision followed a request from President Donald Trump earlier in the day.

Bondi acknowledged the directive in a post responding to the President.

“Thank you, Mr. President. SDNY U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton is one of the most capable and trusted prosecutors in the country, and I’ve asked him to take the lead. As with all matters, the Department will pursue this with urgency and integrity to deliver answers to the American people,” she wrote.

President Trump outlined his request in a Truth Social post Friday morning. “Now that the Democrats are using the Epstein Hoax, involving Democrats, not Republicans, to try and deflect from their disastrous SHUTDOWN, and all of their other failures, I will be asking A.G. Pam Bondi, and the Department of Justice, together with our great patriots at the FBI, to investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s involvement and relationship with Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Reid Hoffman, J.P. Morgan, Chase, and many other people and institutions, to determine what was going on with them, and him.”

He added that the claims circulating this week resemble past political narratives. “This is another Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, with all arrows pointing to the Democrats. Records show that these men, and many others, spent large portions of their life with Epstein, and on his ‘Island.’ Stay tuned!!!”

The investigation announcement followed the release of several emails by Democrats earlier in the week.

The documents referenced communications in which Epstein made claims about President Trump.

In a 2019 message, Epstein wrote that Trump “knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop.”

Another email from 2011 stated that Trump “spent hours at my house” with Virginia Giuffre.

Democrats redacted Giuffre’s name from the release, despite her being one of the most widely known Epstein victims.

Giuffre has repeatedly stated publicly that President Trump never engaged in any improper conduct with her.

Bondi’s decision sets the stage for a federal review of Epstein’s connections with political figures and financial institutions named in the President’s directive.

The investigation will proceed under Clayton’s oversight, with the Department of Justice and the FBI participating in the review.

Jasmine Crockett Caught Blowing Donor Cash on Luxury Hotels, Limousines and More

A new campaign spending report filed with the Federal Election Commission shows that Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett of Texas spent tens of thousands of dollars on luxury travel and related services during the first part of 2025.

The filing details over $25,000 in expenses for high-end hotels, limousine transportation, and travel to locations outside her Dallas-based 30th Congressional District.

Crockett, who has become a prominent figure on the left for her public criticism of President Donald Trump and her frequent viral outbursts on social media, reported the expenditures as part of her campaign’s operating costs.

The spending covers trips to Martha’s Vineyard, Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.

The FEC report lists several hotel charges made since January, including:

  • $4,175.01 at the Ritz-Carlton
  • $2,304.79 at the Luxury Collection
  • $5,326.52 at the West Hollywood Edition in Los Angeles
  • $1,173.92 at the Times Square Edition in New York City
  • More than $2,000 combined at the Cosmopolitan and Aria resorts in Las Vegas
  • $2,703.14 at the Edgartown Inn in Martha’s Vineyard
  • $3,160.93 at the Coco in Martha’s Vineyard

In addition to hotel costs, the campaign reported $50,000 in security expenses.

The filings also included limousine services used in multiple cities during Crockett’s travel.

Crockett has publicly suggested she is considering a run for the U.S. Senate following redistricting changes in Texas.

In comments made in October, she referenced the possibility of entering a Senate race if she believes she can broaden the Democratic electorate statewide.

“Because if you want to take my seat of 766,000 away, I feel like there has to be some karma in that to where I take your seat that is for 30 million away,” she said.

“So we are, you know, the primary is the primary. That’s cool, but you got to win the general. So we are doing some testing here shortly to see if I can expand the electorate.”

Crockett also drew recent attention when progressive radio host Stephanie Miller posted photos on social media appearing to kiss Crockett’s sneakers.

The images drew commentary online, with some users suggesting the photos reflected media enthusiasm toward preferred political figures on the left.

The campaign filing does not indicate that any of the listed travel occurred within Crockett’s district.

The FEC report shows that all listed expenses were paid using campaign funds.

The congresswoman has not issued further public comment related to the travel expenditures or the filing.

The report is one of several quarterly filings required by federal law and provides details on how congressional campaigns allocate their funds.

Further filings will be submitted later in the year as Crockett continues to weigh whether to pursue higher office.

Sen. John Fetterman Hospitalized After Early Morning Fall Near His Home

Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania was hospitalized Thursday morning after a fall near his home in Braddock, according to a statement released by his office. The senator was taken to a hospital in Pittsburgh for evaluation and treatment, as reported by Fox News.

“During an early morning walk, Senator Fetterman sustained a fall near his home in Braddock. Out of an abundance of caution, he was transported to a hospital in Pittsburgh,” the spokesperson said.

“Upon evaluation, it was established he had a ventricular fibrillation flare-up that led to Senator Fetterman feeling light-headed, falling to the ground, and hitting his face with minor injuries.”

The spokesperson said Fetterman is “doing well and receiving routine observation at the hospital.” The office also shared a statement from the senator, who commented on the incident.

“If you thought my face looked bad before, wait until you see it now!” Fetterman said.

According to his office, Fetterman opted to remain hospitalized so doctors could adjust his medication regimen.

Fetterman has dealt with medical challenges in the past, including a stroke in 2022 during his Senate campaign that affected his ability to speak and process auditory information for a period of time.

His ongoing health monitoring has remained a consistent part of his work schedule since entering the Senate.

The hospitalization comes at a time when Fetterman has drawn attention for breaking with most Senate Democrats during the recent government shutdown.

He was among the members who voted to reopen the federal government, a position that drew both praise and criticism inside his party.

Fetterman’s office did not specify how long he is expected to remain under medical supervision. Additional updates are expected once doctors complete their evaluation and finalize adjustments to his treatment plan.

Harlem River Rescue: NYPD Officers Race To Save Teen In Distress

Three NYPD officers are being credited with saving the life of a teenage girl who jumped into the Harlem River on Tuesday afternoon, as reported by The New York Post.

The rescue, captured on body camera footage, showed the officers racing to pull the teen from the freezing water near 142nd Street just after 2 p.m.

Officers Ankit Gupta, Wilmer Guerrero, and Shuaibul Amine responded after receiving a report of a girl in distress near Harlem River Drive. According to police, the girl jumped into the river while still wearing her clothes as officers ran toward her on the rocks.

Gupta said the girl immediately began screaming for help. Officers saw her struggling in the cold water as she cried out, “Help me, help me, please!”

Guerrero removed much of his gear before entering the water. “Somebody needed help, and this is what we signed up for, and we’re here to help, and that’s what we did,” he said on Thursday when the officers returned to the scene.

“It was definitely a cold plunge, freezing,” Guerrero recalled. “But at that moment, nothing else mattered but just getting her out of the water. So I got over it pretty quickly.”

Guerrero swam about 20 feet to reach the teen. “I just grabbed her by her sweater and her shoulder, and I was just swimming along with her, and then I was just pushing her forward,” he said.

He noted the girl was panicking but said he tried to keep her calm with reassuring words as he made his way back toward officers on the shoreline.

Gupta and Amine, who had also removed some of their gear in case additional help was needed, pulled Guerrero and the girl from the water.

Emergency Service Unit members wrapped the teen in blankets when they arrived, and she was transported to a hospital conscious and alert.

“And hopefully we gave this girl a second chance, because obviously this thing could have gone a whole different way,” Guerrero said.

The three officers, all from the 32nd Precinct and each with less than four years of service, said it was their first water rescue. “I’m just glad that we were all there as a group, that it was a group effort that gave her a second chance,” Gupta said.

Amine added, “It’s great when you save somebody. That’s what we signed up for in this job, right?”

Police officials said the teen’s condition was stable as of Thursday, and the department continues to review the incident.

Gavin Newsom’s Former Chief of Staff Arrested in Major Federal Corruption Case

California Governor Gavin Newsom’s former Chief of Staff, Dana Williamson, was arrested Wednesday as part of a federal public corruption investigation.

The indictment, reviewed by The Sacramento Bee, details multiple charges brought by the FBI and federal prosecutors.

Williamson, who left the Governor’s Office in December 2024, is charged alongside Greg Campbell, Sean McCluskie, and two additional individuals.

The indictment lists 23 counts, including obstruction of justice, false statements, and bank and wire fraud.

According to The Sacramento Bee, “the 18 bank and wire fraud charges each carry a maximum of 20 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines.”

Following publication of the charges, Newsom’s office issued a statement creating distance from Williamson.

“Ms. Williamson no longer serves in this administration. While we are still learning details of the allegations, the Governor expects all public servants to uphold the highest standards of integrity. At a time when the President is openly calling for his Attorney General to investigate his political enemies, it is especially important to honor the American principle of being innocent until proven guilty in a court of law by a jury of one’s peers,” the office told The Sacramento Bee.

Federal prosecutors allege that from February 2022 through September 2024, Williamson and her co-conspirators diverted $225,000 from a dormant political campaign.

Prosecutors say the funds were routed through business entities and disguised as pay for work that was never performed.

According to a statement released by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California: “According to court documents, between February 2022 and September 2024, Williamson conspired with others to divert approximately $225,000 in funds from a dormant political campaign to an associate’s personal use. Collectively, they funneled the money through various business entities and disguised it as pay for what was, in reality, a no-show job.”

“The indictment also alleges that Williamson conspired with a business associate to create false, backdated contracts after receiving a civil subpoena in January 2024 from the U.S. Attorney’s Office regarding Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans made to Williamson’s business.

Williamson also subscribed to false tax returns claiming more than $1 million in business deductions for what were actually personal and nondeductible expenditures, such as private jet travel, luxury hotel stays, home furnishings, and designer handbags, as well as deductions for no-show jobs for friends and family.”

The statement continued: “When questioned by FBI agents in connection with ongoing investigations into the diversion of campaign funds, the backdated contracts, and allegations of public corruption, Williamson made false statements to the agents regarding each of those topics.”

“Williamson is scheduled to make her initial appearance on the charges at 2:00 p.m. in the U.S. Courthouse in Sacramento. The United States concurrently unsealed charging documents related to this case for two other individuals charged by information.”

FBI Sacramento Special Agent in Charge Sid Patel commented on the investigation, stating, “Today’s charges are the result of three years of relentless investigative work, in partnership with IRS Criminal Investigation and the U.S. Attorney’s Office. The FBI will remain vigilant in its efforts to uncover fraud and corruption, ensuring our government systems are held to the highest standards.”

IRS Criminal Investigation also issued a statement. “Disguising personal luxuries as business expenses—especially to claim improper tax deductions or to willfully file fraudulent tax returns is a serious criminal offense with severe consequences,” said IRS-CI Oakland Field Office Special Agent in Charge Linda Nguyen.

“IRS-CI will pursue charges against those who deliberately exploit their business for personal enrichment.”

Williamson’s initial court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon in Sacramento. Federal prosecutors have not announced trial dates or additional filings, but further proceedings are expected as the case moves forward.

House Democrats Release Epstein Emails: Bombshell or Shutdown Failure Distraction?

House Oversight Committee Democrats released a series of emails on Wednesday from the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein that reference President Donald Trump.

The emails, which were exchanged between Epstein, his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, and author Michael Wolff, were obtained through a subpoena issued to Epstein’s estate earlier this year, according to CNN.

The release came just hours before Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva, a Democrat from Arizona, was scheduled to be sworn into Congress.

Her vote is expected to be decisive in advancing a bipartisan petition to compel the public release of Epstein-related files.

None of the emails were directly sent to or received from President Trump.

The communications primarily predate his presidency, and Trump has not been accused of any criminal wrongdoing in connection with Epstein or Maxwell.

One of the emails, dated April 2, 2011, shows Epstein writing to Maxwell, “i want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is trump.. (REDACTED) spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned. police chief. etc. im 75 % there.”

Maxwell replied, “I have been thinking about that…” The context of the exchange remains unclear, and the name Epstein referenced was redacted by the committee to protect the individual’s identity.

In earlier testimony this year, Maxwell told Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche that she never saw President Trump behave inappropriately. She said she did not recall ever seeing Trump at Epstein’s home and that their interactions occurred only in public or social settings.

“The President was never inappropriate with anybody,” Maxwell said.

“In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects.”

A separate email dated January 2019, about seven months before Epstein’s death in prison, appeared to reference Trump’s public statement that he had banned Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago resort. “trump said he asked me to resign,” Epstein wrote to Wolff, adding, “never a member ever. . of course he knew about the girls as he asked to Ghislaine to stop.”

The White House has stated that President Trump barred Epstein from Mar-a-Lago “for being a creep” and that Epstein had “stolen” young female spa employees, prompting the end of their association.

Maxwell later told Blanche that she had not recruited anyone at Mar-a-Lago.

Another exchange from December 15, 2015, the day of a CNN Republican primary debate, included a message from Wolff to Epstein stating, “I hear CNN planning to ask Trump tonight about his relationship with you–either on air or in scrum afterwards.”

Epstein replied, “if we were able to craft an answer for him, what do you think it should be?”

Wolff responded, “I think you should let him hang himself. If he says he hasn’t been on the plane or to the house, then that gives you a valuable PR and political currency. You can hang him in a way that potentially generates a positive benefit for you, or, if it really looks like he could win, you could save him, generating a debt. Of course, it is possible that, when asked, he’ll say Jeffrey is a great guy and has gotten a raw deal and is a victim of political correctness, which is to be outlawed in a Trump regime.”

Following the release of the emails, the White House criticized Democrats for what it described as selective redactions intended to distort the contents.

According to a report from The Hill, White House officials said the redacted individual was Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s most prominent accusers, whose death earlier this year was ruled a suicide.

Giuffre previously stated that she worked at Mar-a-Lago as a teenager and repeatedly maintained that President Trump had never engaged in any misconduct.

“The Democrats selectively leaked emails to the liberal media to create a fake narrative to smear President Trump. The ‘unnamed victim’ referenced in these emails is the late Virginia Giuffre, who repeatedly said President Trump was not involved in any wrongdoing whatsoever and ‘couldn’t have been friendlier’ to her in their limited interactions,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.

“The fact remains that President Trump kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his club decades ago for being a creep to his female employees, including Giuffre,” Leavitt added.

“These stories are nothing more than bad-faith efforts to distract from President Trump’s historic accomplishments, and any American with common sense sees right through this hoax and clear distraction from the government opening back up again.”

‘The View’s’ Sunny Hostin Attacks Fetterman, He Shuts Down Her Shutdown Comments

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) defended his decision to vote for legislation reopening the federal government during a tense exchange with The View co-host Sunny Hostin on Tuesday, after she accused him of surrendering leverage in negotiations with Republicans.

The appearance came one day after Fetterman joined seven other senators in voting for an updated continuing resolution to end the 41-day shutdown, marking the longest in U.S. history.

The bill passed with bipartisan support in the Senate and is expected to move through the House later this week.

Hostin began the interview by referencing recent criticism from within the Democratic Party, quoting Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA), who both argued that the shutdown should have continued until Republicans agreed to extend enhanced healthcare subsidies.

She also noted that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) had blamed Republicans for the impasse.

“As you mentioned, Democrats had big wins last week, so you had momentum. Why give in now? Why bring a butter knife to a gunfight?” Hostin asked.

“Are you willing to gamble that the GOP will negotiate on healthcare in good faith once the government reopens? Because if that gamble is wrong, half a million Pennsylvanians that you represent, their healthcare costs will skyrocket if you are wrong. I believe you are wrong.”

Fetterman, who has consistently voted with Republicans to end the shutdown, rejected Hostin’s characterization and defended his stance as one focused on the needs of working families.

“MTG is quite literally the last person in America that I’m going to take advice or to get their kinds of my leadership and values from,” he said, referring to Greene.

“Now, if Democrats are celebrating crazy pants like that, then that’s on them. Now, I don’t need a lecture from, whether it’s Bernie or the governor in California, because they are representing very deep-blue kinds of populations and a lot of those things were part of the extreme.”

Fetterman pointed to the human impact of the shutdown, particularly on low-income families and federal workers.

“Forty-two million Americans now are not sure where their next meal is going to come from, and because we vote like that. Or people that haven’t been paid for five weeks now, and that kinds of chaos. Those workers borrow more than half a billion dollars from their credit union just to pay their bills,” he said.

He also cited Virginia Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger, who recently cautioned Democrats not to misinterpret last week’s election victories as justification for continuing the shutdown.

“I refuse to weaponize the SNAP benefit for 42 million Americans that rely on feeding themselves and their family, or making flying in America, you know, less safe, or I refuse not to pay our military and all of the unions attached to all of this, and people,” Fetterman said.

“So for me it’s like I don’t agree with that tactic to respond to circumstances that we’re confronting on this.”

Fetterman’s position places him among a small group of Democrats — including Sens. Angus King (I-ME), Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Jacky Rosen (D-NV), Tim Kaine (D-VA), and Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) — who broke ranks with their party leadership to vote in favor of ending the shutdown.

Hostin has been vocal in her criticism of Senate Democrats who supported reopening the government, saying Monday that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s leadership was “over” and that he should be replaced after failing to keep the caucus unified.

Fetterman previously wrote on social media in early October that his votes reflected a choice to “put country over party,” citing the immediate consequences of withholding SNAP benefits and military pay as key factors.

The continuing resolution approved by the Senate will fund the government through early 2026, providing appropriations for major departments including Agriculture, Veterans Affairs, and Defense, while also setting up a December vote to address the expiring Affordable Care Act tax credits that initially divided the parties.

Erika Kirk Posts Tearful Moment as Daughter Sings Father’s Lullaby to Baby Brother

Erika Kirk, widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, shared an emotional video of her 3-year-old daughter singing to her baby brother — the same lullaby her late father used to sing to her before his death, as reported by The New York Post.

The video, posted on Instagram over the weekend, shows the toddler standing beside her brother’s crib, gently singing “Jesus Loves Me.” Erika wrote that the moment brought back powerful memories of her husband’s nightly routine with their daughter.

“I see you alive in our babies, especially at night,” Erika wrote in the caption.

The memorial for Charlie Kirk at the Turning Point USA headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, on Sept. 11, 2025.

“I remember walking into her room and hearing both of you singing ‘Jesus Loves Me’ as she falls asleep. Her voice now carries both you and her in one. And in this moment, when I witness this every night on the monitor, Heaven feels even closer.”

The post comes nearly two months after Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10 during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University.

The tragedy left the conservative community in mourning and thrust Erika into the public spotlight as she assumed leadership of her late husband’s organization.

In a recent interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters, Erika revealed that her daughter still asks about her father.

“It’s really sweet because I keep explaining to her a few things, and I said, ‘If you ever want to talk to Daddy, you just look up to the sky and start talking, and he can hear you,’” she said.

“I told her, ‘You know, Daddy is in Heaven’ — and she goes, ‘Do you think I could go sometime?’” Erika said through tears. “I said, ‘Baby, we will all go one day.’”

Charlie Kirk’s widow Erika Kirk reacts after finishing her speech during the memorial service honoring Charlie Kirk at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, on Sept. 21, 2025. Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA was assassinated on Sept. 10, 2025.

Erika and Charlie Kirk were married in May 2021 and have two children together — a daughter and a son. Though Charlie was a prominent national figure, the couple kept their family life private, rarely sharing images or details about their children.

Since her husband’s passing, Erika has continued his work with Turning Point USA, stepping into the role of president.

Her leadership has been marked by both public grief and determination to preserve her husband’s mission of advancing conservative values among young Americans.

The video has drawn widespread support and condolences from friends, supporters, and members of the conservative movement.

Many commented on Erika’s post, offering prayers and expressing admiration for her strength and faith as she raises their children in the wake of her husband’s death.

Boston Socialist Running for Senate Gets Roasted for Bizarre Pharmacy Claim

A little-known Massachusetts Senate candidate is drawing national attention after promoting a controversial “pharmacy desert” message that quickly went viral online.

Joe Tache, 30, is running for the U.S. Senate as a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), challenging incumbent Democrat Sen. Ed Markey.

A graduate of Northeastern University, Tache describes himself as “a youth worker, community organizer, and socialist based in Boston,” according to his campaign website.

Tache’s platform focuses on what he calls “worker exploitation, war, police brutality, gentrification, and many other issues.”

His campaign materials state that he has spent more than a decade involved in organizing efforts across Massachusetts, which he says shaped his political philosophy.

In describing his political background, Tache writes that his activism was influenced by national events including the deaths of Michael Brown, George Floyd, and Trayvon Martin, as well as the Great Recession and ongoing U.S. military conflicts.

His campaign presentation centers on addressing what he identifies as the “root cause” of social problems — capitalism.

While Tache portrays himself as a grassroots advocate, his personal background remains largely unknown.

His campaign biography provides little detail about his upbringing or family, focusing instead on his political involvement and ideological development.

In recent days, Tache’s social media activity has generated criticism following his promotion of a video highlighting what he calls “pharmacy deserts.”

The term refers to urban areas where residents live at least a half-mile away from the nearest pharmacy.

The candidate’s message drew immediate responses across social media, with users questioning the accuracy and practicality of the claim.

Critics pointed out that most residents in major cities can reach pharmacies within minutes by walking, driving, or using public transportation.

Tache’s framing of “pharmacy deserts” echoes broader left-wing terminology, such as “food deserts,” which are used to describe areas with limited access to grocery stores.

Supporters of the concept argue that low-income communities face systemic barriers to essential services, while critics contend that the conditions are often the result of other factors, including high crime rates and business closures.

Tache’s “pharmacy desert” video was widely shared on X, where users mocked the concept and questioned his grasp of daily realities faced by residents.

The backlash included comments from conservatives and independents who saw the message as emblematic of a broader disconnect between socialist talking points and practical life.

The online reaction also brought attention to Tache’s affiliation with the Party for Socialism and Liberation, a small but vocal far-left organization known for advocating systemic economic overhaul.

The PSL supports policies such as nationalized industries, the abolition of capitalism, and redistributive economic systems modeled on socialist frameworks.

Despite the viral criticism, Tache has continued to campaign on issues tied to housing, healthcare access, and workers’ rights.

His Senate run marks a rare attempt by a third-party socialist candidate to challenge a sitting Democratic incumbent in Massachusetts.

Tache’s candidacy adds another layer to an already crowded ideological field in Massachusetts politics.

While his long-term prospects remain uncertain, his “pharmacy desert” message has propelled him into a national conversation about the boundaries of socialist activism and the public’s response to far-left economic proposals.

As Tache continues his campaign, the online attention—much of it critical—has positioned him as one of the more visible socialist candidates in the country, at least for the moment.

Whether the attention translates into voter support remains to be seen, but the response to his “pharmacy desert” proposal suggests that the uphill battle ahead may be steeper than expected.
