Elon Musk Explains Exactly Why Democrats Allow Illegal Aliens to Get Away With Fraud

Elon Musk and Ted Cruz discussed entitlement fraud, illegal immigration, and national election outcomes in an exchange focused on Democratic policy concerns and the potential political impact of halting fraudulent government payments.

The discussion centered on Musk’s claim that Democrats are primarily concerned about the possibility that large-scale entitlement payments to illegal aliens could be stopped, which he described as the core issue driving political resistance.

Musk said Democrats fear the end of what he described as fraudulent entitlement payments involving multiple federal programs.

He said those programs include Social Security, Medicare, unemployment benefits, disability programs, and Small Business Administration loans.

According to Musk, the concern is that these payments could be cut off to illegal aliens, which he described as the central issue behind political opposition.

“And the single biggest thing that they’re that they’re worried about is that Doge is going to turn off fraudulent payments of entitlements. I mean, everything from Social Security, Medicare, you know, unemployment, disability, Small Business Administration, loans turn them off to illegals. This is the crux of the matter. This is the thing that why they really hate my guts, want me to die,” Musk said.

Cruz asked Musk to quantify the scale of the alleged entitlement fraud, specifically questioning whether the amounts involved reached into the billions or hundreds of billions of dollars.

“And do you think that’s billions, hundreds of billions? What do you think the scale is of that?” Cruz asked.

Musk responded by estimating the national total at between $100 billion and $200 billion.

He said this estimate reflects what he described as widespread entitlement fraud used to attract and retain large numbers of illegal aliens across the country.

“I think across the country, it’s, it’s in its wellness of 100 billion, maybe 200 billion. So by, by using entitlements fraud, the Democrats have been able to attract and retain vast numbers of illegal immigrants,” Musk said.

Cruz then interjected with a brief follow-up that framed the issue in electoral terms.

“And buy voters,” Cruz said.

Musk agreed with that characterization and expanded on how he believes the strategy affects elections, particularly in closely contested states.

He repeated his estimate of $100 billion to $200 billion and said that even small shifts in voter numbers can permanently alter political outcomes in swing states.

“And buy voters. Exactly I think across the country, it’s, it’s in its wellness of 100 billion, maybe 200 billion. So by, by using entitlements fraud, the Democrats have been able to attract and retain vast numbers of illegal immigrants,” Musk said.

Musk said it does not take a large number of votes to flip swing states, noting that some are decided by margins of 10,000 to 20,000 votes. He argued that bringing in significantly more illegal aliens than the voter margin in those states could eliminate their status as swing states over time.

“It doesn’t take much to turn the swing states blue. I mean, often a swing state be won by 10-20,000 votes. So the Dems can bring in 200,000 illegals, and over time, get them legalized,” Musk said.

Musk also addressed election integrity, stating that even without considering wrongdoing, the scale of immigration alone could reshape elections.

“Not, not counting any cheating that takes place, because there is some cheating. But even without cheating, if you make, if you have, if you bring in illegals that are 10x the voter differential in a swing state, it will no longer be a swing state,” he said.

Musk said this process would eventually result in Democrats winning all swing states, leading to permanent control of national institutions.

“And the dance will win all the swing states, just a matter of time, and America will be permanent, Deep Blue, socialist state, the House, the Senate, the presidency and the Supreme Court will all go hardcore Dem,” Musk said.

He continued by stating that such control would allow Democrats to further expand immigration, making political change impossible through elections alone.

“They will then further cement that by by bringing in even more aliens. So you just you can’t vote your way out of it,” Musk said.

Musk concluded by comparing the outcome to California, arguing that the situation would be worse because relocation would no longer be an option.

“One party socialist state, and it’ll be much worse than California, because at least California is mitigated by the fact that someone can leave California and go to Texas. Make everywhere California. But worse,” Musk said.

Elon Musk Blasts Zohran Mamdani’s Lesbian FDNY Commissioner Pick

Elon Musk criticized incoming New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani on Friday over his decision to appoint a longtime emergency medical services official as the next commissioner of the Fire Department of the City of New York, prompting a public exchange that drew responses from both Mamdani and the appointee.

Musk, who previously served in President Donald Trump’s administration, reacted after Mamdani announced the selection of Lillian Bonsignore as FDNY commissioner.

Writing on X, Musk argued that the appointment could have serious consequences. “People will die because of this,” Musk wrote.

“Proven experience matters when lives are at stake.”

Mamdani, who is set to take office on Jan. 1, named Bonsignore earlier this week.

Bonsignore is a 31-year veteran of the FDNY who spent her career within the department’s emergency medical services division.

She led EMS Operations during the COVID-19 pandemic and retired from the department in 2022.

Announcing the appointment on X on Tuesday, Mamdani highlighted Bonsignore’s background and leadership record.

“The first woman to achieve a 4-star rank in FDNY history, she’s joining us as the FDNY Commissioner to bring her crisis leadership and operational expertise to this administration,” Mamdani wrote.

Bonsignore will be only the second woman to serve as FDNY commissioner and the first openly gay person to hold the position.

Following Musk’s criticism, Mamdani defended his choice in a post on X on Saturday, emphasizing Bonsignore’s experience within the department.

“Experience does matter, which is why I appointed the person who spent more than 30 years at EMS,” Mamdani wrote.

“You know, the workforce that addresses at least 70% of all calls coming into FDNY?”

Bonsignore addressed her appointment publicly during a news conference on Tuesday, where she acknowledged the responsibility of leading the nation’s largest municipal fire department.

“I am honored, so honored, and humbled to stand before you as the new fire commissioner,” Bonsignore said.

“This appointment represents a significant responsibility, one I accept with humility, dedication and a deep sense of commitment to the city and its people.”

The exchange between Musk and Mamdani came during a transitional period for New York City leadership, as outgoing Mayor Eric Adams also announced a separate FDNY-related appointment this week.

Adams named FDNY First Deputy Commissioner Mark Guerra to a senior leadership role within the department.

Adams defended his decision in a statement released Tuesday, emphasizing continuity and experience within city government.

“Under our administration, keeping New Yorkers safe and protected has always been our North Star, and having principled, qualified public servants in place to lead our critical public safety agencies is crucial to fulfilling that goal; there’s no person who meets those high standards (like) Commissioner Mark Guerra,” Adams said.

Mamdani responded to Adams’ announcement as well, signaling that the outgoing mayor retains authority until the end of his term.

“Lillian’s light is one that can’t be dimmed by anything else that takes place,” Mamdani said, according to FOX 5.

“The mayor is free to continue to be the mayor until the end of this year and make decisions as such.”

The FDNY commissioner oversees both fire suppression and emergency medical services operations across New York City, managing tens of thousands of personnel and responding to millions of calls each year.

Mamdani’s appointment of Bonsignore places a career EMS leader at the head of the department as the city prepares for a change in administration at the start of the new year.

Commies Rooted in Marxist-Leninism Are in the U.S. Congress: Rep Pat Fallon

During a recent exchange, conservative commentator Tomi Lahren pressed Rep. Pat Fallon on whether Democratic opposition to U.S. strikes on narco terrorists reflects genuine concern or political theater driven by hostility toward President Trump.

Lahren questioned whether Democrats privately express the same outrage they display publicly, given the deadly impact of narco terrorism and fentanyl trafficking.

“Congressman, I want to go back to the Democrats again. I’m sure that in off the record closed door conversations, you’ve got Democrat colleagues that maybe you might feel are a little bit more reasonable,” Lahren said.

“Are they really telling you, behind closed doors, off the record, at a Christmas party, that they’re super upset about the strikes on Narco terrorists, because it’s hard for me as just an American civilian who is looking at the death and destruction of Narco terrorism, of fentanyl, of all of this, and thinking, Boy, we shouldn’t be striking them.”

She continued by questioning whether the public opposition reflects sincere belief or political performance.

“But the Democrats have really they’ve rooted themselves on the floor with this one,” Lahren said.

“Is that a bunch of BS, or are they really saying that to you, off the record, behind closed doors? Are they really that mad about this, or is this just Trump derangement syndrome for the cameras?”

Fallon responded by arguing that Democratic reactions to President Trump are often reflexive and disconnected from policy substance.

“Well, some of these folks, I mean, if there’s a if somebody sneezes, they want to impeach President Trump,” Fallon said.

“If he doesn’t take his own tight you know, and if there’s an eclipse, he’s going to they’re going to blame Donald Trump for blotting out the sun.”

Fallon said he believes some Democrats use criticism of Trump as a political tool rather than a reflection of genuine disagreement with the policy.

“So, yeah, this is just a an excuse that many of them use to say, Oh, look at the dangerous and deranged President Trump,” Fallon said.

He then drew a distinction within the Democratic Party, separating members he described as pragmatic from those he said are ideologically opposed to actions that benefit the United States.

“When the reason was we have actually a name for them, to be candid,” Fallon said.

“And it’s the patriotic Democrats, the ones that are reasonable, the ones that actually have the best interest the United States at heart.”

Fallon contrasted those lawmakers with others he described in far harsher terms.

“And then there’s the commies,” he said.

“I mean, there are people that I believe are truly rooted in Mark So Marxist, Leninism, that are in the United States Congress. I hate to say that, but it is true.”

According to Fallon, that ideological divide explains why some Democrats oppose actions aimed at combating narco terrorism and protecting U.S. interests.

“They really are genuinely concerned anything that actually protects America and American interests they seem to be against,” Fallon said.

He added that some Democrats privately acknowledge support for the strikes but feel pressure to publicly oppose them to satisfy activist voters.

“So yes, there are certainly some Democrats that know that they have no problem with these strikes,” Fallon said.

“But for some of them, have to play to the cameras and really, you know, cater to their hard left base.”

Eric Swalwell Uses Nativity Scene to Attack ICE on Christmas

Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., sparked controversy on Christmas Day after posting an image on social media that portrayed Jesus, Mary, and Joseph as illegal immigrants being confronted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, a depiction that drew sharp criticism from religious observers and conservative commentators.

Swalwell shared the image on X on Dec. 25, alongside a caption that read, “May this be the last Christmas we live this nightmare.” The image showed spray-painted figures labeled as ICE agents breaking into a Bethlehem stable, where Jesus was born, with the Holy Family depicted inside the nativity scene.

The congressman’s post was widely interpreted as likening the biblical account of Jesus’ birth to modern immigration enforcement in the United States. Critics argued that the depiction misrepresented Scripture and inaccurately portrayed Mary and Joseph as illegal migrants.

According to the Gospel of Luke, Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem in compliance with a Roman census ordered by Emperor Caesar Augustus, not as fugitives or unlawful travelers. The biblical account states:

“In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be enrolled. This was the first enrollment, when Quirinius was governor of Syria. And all went to be enrolled, each to his own city. [So] Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David” (Luke 2:1–4).

The passage explains that Joseph returned to his ancestral hometown of Bethlehem for the census, which is where Jesus was born. The Bible does not describe Mary and Joseph as illegal immigrants during this journey.

The claim that Jesus should be considered a refugee or illegal migrant has circulated in left-wing political and religious commentary in recent years, particularly in debates over modern immigration policy.

Many Christian scholars and theologians have disputed that characterization as historically inaccurate.

Breitbart News previously addressed the issue, with Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D., noting that Jesus was born in Bethlehem, Joseph’s ancestral home, and that the Holy Family later fled to Egypt only after King Herod ordered the killing of infant boys in the region.

According to that account, Mary and Joseph temporarily settled in Egypt, which at the time was part of the Roman Empire, before returning to Galilee following Herod’s death.

Jesus spent most of his childhood in Galilee, not as a displaced foreigner, but within the Roman-controlled territory where his family resided.

Swalwell’s Christmas post was not the only recent instance in which the nativity story was reinterpreted through the lens of modern immigration politics.

A progressive church in Illinois faced criticism last month after unveiling a nativity display that depicted baby Jesus zip-tied, Roman soldiers portrayed as ICE agents, and Mary and Joseph wearing gas masks.

Lake Street Church of Evanston defended the display in a Facebook post, stating that it “reimagines the nativity as a scene of forced family separation, drawing direct parallels between the Holy Family’s refugee experience and contemporary immigration detention practices.”

The church’s display and Swalwell’s post both generated backlash from Christians who argued that such portrayals politicize religious imagery and misrepresent biblical history.

Critics said the depictions replace the scriptural account with modern political narratives that do not align with the historical or theological context of the nativity.

Swalwell did not elaborate further on his Christmas post or respond publicly to the criticism following its publication.

The congressman has been a vocal supporter of progressive immigration policies and has frequently criticized federal immigration enforcement efforts, including ICE operations.

The controversy surrounding Swalwell’s post comes amid ongoing national debates over border security, immigration enforcement, and the role of faith in public life.

While supporters of such imagery argue it draws attention to humanitarian concerns, opponents contend that religious figures and sacred events are being repurposed to advance political messaging.

Minnesota’s Welfare Data Tells a Different Story Than the Democrat Narrative

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said new information suggests a large majority of Somalis living in Minnesota are dependent on government assistance, raising renewed questions about the impact of Democratic immigration policies and the scope of public benefit usage by illegal aliens.

Comer said the issue is politically sensitive and often avoided by Democrats, despite what he described as troubling data about welfare dependency in the state.

“Because they don’t want to offend that population,” Comer said.

“And the early numbers that I’m getting in on the Somalis in Minnesota is 75% of the Somalis in Minnesota are on full government assistance. That’s full welfare.”

Comer linked the situation to immigration policies under the Biden-Harris administration, arguing that Democrats deliberately kept the border open under the premise of addressing labor shortages but failed to acknowledge the fiscal consequences.

“The whole reason that the Democrats left the border open during the Biden administration was to allow people to come in, and what they said would provide jobs, you know, because there’s a shortage of workers,” Comer said.

“And I agree there’s workers.”

He said the reality in Minnesota does not align with those claims, pointing to what he described as widespread reliance on taxpayer-funded programs.

“But you got a massive population in that one state, and the overwhelming majority of that population is on Medicaid and then and other types of government programs,” Comer said.

Comer also disputed Democratic assertions that illegal aliens are not receiving Medicaid benefits, suggesting the true scale of enrollment may be understated and could soon be exposed through further review.

“Even when Democrats say there are no illegals on Medicaid,” he said.

“I think that’s that that’s going to be proven to be booked in Minnesota.”

FBI Sat on Epstein Child Porn Claim for a Decade: Whistleblower

A former employee of Jeffrey Epstein reported to federal authorities in the mid-1990s that the financier was viewing child pornography and threatening her, years before Epstein became publicly known, but she says the warnings went unaddressed for nearly a decade.

Maria Farmer, who previously worked for Epstein helping him purchase artwork, filed a report with the FBI and other authorities on Sept. 3, 1996, according to records cited by The New York Times.

Farmer said she recently learned that her complaint had been made public as part of a new document release by the Trump administration and confirmed that the redacted report was hers.

Farmer told the outlet she feels vindicated after decades of claiming she attempted to alert authorities to Epstein’s conduct.

“I can’t believe it. They can’t call me a liar anymore,” she said, adding that she has “waited 30 years” for her account to be substantiated.

According to Farmer, her complaint stemmed from a series of events involving her personal artwork and her younger sisters.

She told authorities that she had taken photographs of her sisters, who were 16 and 12 years old at the time, as part of her own art projects.

Some of those photographs included nudity. Farmer said Epstein stole the nude photos and negatives and later asked her to take photographs of young girls at swimming pools.

The FBI complaint details those allegations in direct language. “Complaintant [stated] that she is a professional artist and took pictures of her sisters 12 and 16 yrs for her own personnel [sic] art work,” the document stated.

“Epstein stole the photos and negatives and is believed to have sold the pictures to potential buyers. Epstein at one time requested [redacted] to take pictures of young girls at swimming pools. EPSTEIN is now threatening [redacted] that if she tells anyone about the photos, he will burn her house down.”

Farmer said she was stunned by the lack of response after filing the report.

According to her account, she did not hear back from the FBI for nearly 10 years, until federal authorities launched a broader investigation into Epstein in Florida.

That investigation ultimately resulted in Epstein receiving a controversial plea deal that allowed him to avoid federal prosecution at the time.

Farmer has long maintained that her original complaint did not fully capture all of her concerns about Epstein and others in his orbit.

She said she also tried to raise alarms about Epstein’s longtime associate and girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, who was later convicted on federal sex trafficking charges.

Farmer told The New York Times that she urged authorities to scrutinize multiple powerful figures connected to Epstein during that period, including then-President Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.

The FBI complaint released as part of the recent document disclosure does not name any individuals other than Epstein.

Farmer said the absence of additional names in the document does not reflect the full scope of what she attempted to communicate to investigators at the time.

Farmer has been outspoken for years about what she describes as systemic failures by federal authorities to act on credible allegations.

“They should be ashamed,” Ms. Farmer said of the federal authorities that ignored her report.

“They harmed all of these little girls. That part devastates me.”

Her sister, Annie Farmer, has also publicly testified about her experiences connected to Epstein.

Annie Farmer previously stated that when she was 16 years old, she traveled to Epstein’s ranch and had contact with Ghislaine Maxwell.

She testified that she got into bed with Maxwell to “cuddle” and that Maxwell gave her a massage and rubbed her bare chest.

Epstein, who was arrested on federal sex trafficking charges in 2019, died later that year in a New York jail cell.

His death was ruled a suicide.

Maxwell was later convicted and sentenced to prison for her role in facilitating Epstein’s abuse of underage girls.

The newly released FBI documents have renewed scrutiny of how early warnings about Epstein were handled and why reports such as Farmer’s did not result in immediate or sustained investigative action.

Farmer said the public release of her complaint has finally confirmed what she has said for decades: that federal authorities had detailed information about Epstein’s alleged conduct long before his crimes became widely known.

Trump Puts Columbian President Petro on Notice Over His Cocaine Factories

Donald Trump responded to comments from Colombian President Gustavo Petro following Petro’s criticism of the United States over sanctions related to Venezuelan oil, addressing Petro’s remarks and issuing a warning focused on drug trafficking concerns.

The exchange began when a reporter asked Trump about Petro’s statement suggesting the return of land to Latin America in response to U.S. sanctions.

“So in response to the United States taking sanction oil from from Venezuela. Colombian President Gustavo Petro criticized the United States by saying, well, the Southwest has stolen land and that it should be returned to Latin America. I just wanted to know what your response to that,” the reporter said.

Trump replied by accusing Petro of overseeing drug production in Colombia and said the Colombian president posed problems for relations with the United States.

“He has to watch, because, you know, he’s got drug factors. They make cocaine in Colombia, and He’s no friend of the United States,” Trump said.

Trump continued by sharply criticizing Petro personally and tying his comments to cocaine trafficking into the United States.

“He’s very bad, very bad guy, and he’s got to watch his ass, because he makes cocaine and they send it into the United States of America from Colombia,” Trump said.

Trump then distinguished between his view of Colombia’s leadership and his view of the Colombian people.

“We love the Colombian people. I love the Colombian people. They’re great people, energetic, smart, great,” Trump said.

He said his criticism was directed at Colombia’s current leadership and warned of consequences if action is not taken against drug production.

“But their new leader is a troublemaker, and he better watch it,” Trump said.

Trump said Colombia must shut down cocaine production facilities, stating that U.S. officials are aware of their locations.

“They better close up those cocaine factories. They have at least three major cocaine factories. We know where they are. He better close them up fast,” Trump said.

Trump Admin Sends ‘Strike Team’ to Minnesota to Combat Fraud

A Fox Business segment featured Stuart Varney questioning Lori Chavez-DeRemer about a Labor Department strike team sent to Minnesota to investigate alleged unemployment insurance fraud, including claims that stolen taxpayer funds may have been transported overseas.

Varney opened the exchange by asking about the origin and purpose of the federal investigation.

“Who sent a team from the Labor Department to investigate what’s this about fraud tourists?” Varney asked.

Chavez-DeRemer responded by stressing the purpose of the Unemployment Insurance Fund and condemning the alleged misuse of taxpayer money.

“Well, unemployment insurance fraud is something that the American people don’t deserve. You know, the Unemployment Insurance Fund is to be whole for one specific reason, and that’s to bridge the gap between when people lose their job at no fault of their own that they can find a new job, and it’s to bridge that gap when you steal hundreds of millions of dollars from the American taxpayer, we need to find out what is happening,” Chavez-DeRemer said.

She said steps were already taken to demand information from state officials and initiate a federal investigation.

“So I did send a letter the Department of Labor, through the Employment and Training Administration, sent a letter to Minnesotans to say, we want to know what is happening, so please produce those reports,” Chavez-DeRemer said.

She said a specialized team would be deployed to determine what occurred.

“So we’re going to send in a UI strike team to find out exactly what’s happening on the ground. We will not tolerate fraud under this administration,” Chavez-DeRemer said.

Varney then pressed Chavez-DeRemer on reports suggesting the fraud involved international transfers of cash.

“Was the this fraud tourism I’m interested in that I’m told there were Somalis loading up suitcases with dollars and flying to Africa to deliver it. Is that accurate?” Varney asked.

Chavez-DeRemer said those claims are part of what investigators are seeking to verify.

“Yhat’s exactly what we want to find out. And those are the reports that we’re demanding by the first of January,” Chavez-DeRemer said.

She said the investigation would focus on tracing the funds and reporting the findings publicly.

“So when that UI strike team goes in, we can do that full investigation and report to the American people exactly where those dollars have gone,” Chavez-DeRemer said.

Massive Sting Rescues Dozens of Missing Kids From Traffickers in North Florida

More than three dozen missing children were recovered from sex traffickers during a large-scale, multi-agency operation in North Florida, federal authorities announced Thursday.

The operation, known as Operation Northern Lights, resulted in the recovery of 43 missing children across 14 counties in North Florida, with additional children located in other states, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

The effort spanned two weeks and led to the arrest of nine individuals, with additional charges expected.

Federal officials said the youngest victims were one year old.

Authorities confirmed that at least one child had been abducted from Florida and was later found in Louisiana.

“This was the most successful missing child operation ever conducted in Northern Florida,” Greg Leljedal, acting U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Florida, said.

“Because of the tireless dedication of the U.S. Marshals and our law enforcement partners, 43 endangered children will now be home safe for the holidays.”

Leljedal said the mission extended beyond locating missing children and focused on immediate care for the victims.

“The mission was not only about finding the missing children, but also providing immediate physical and psychological care to help them begin the path to healing,” he said.

Authorities detailed several individual recoveries that occurred during the operation.

One one-year-old child missing from Leon County was found in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Another one-year-old missing from Okaloosa County was located outside Jackson, Mississippi, along with a 17-year-old.

In that case, a non-custodial adult was arrested on interference with child custody charges.

Other recoveries included a 17-year-old missing from Suwannee County found in Meadville, Mississippi; a 13-year-old missing from Suwannee County located in Jacksonville; and a 15-year-old missing from Okaloosa County found in Ocala.

The U.S. Marshals Service said the scale and coordination of Operation Northern Lights had not previously been undertaken in Northern Florida.

More than 80 personnel from 25 different agencies participated, including law enforcement, social services, prosecutors’ offices, and nonprofit organizations.

All of the children involved were classified as “critically missing,” meaning authorities believed they faced elevated risks of serious harm, including sexual exploitation, violent crime, substance abuse, domestic violence, or exposure to criminal activity.

“Every child deserves to be safe, and we will continue to use every resource at our disposal to bring missing children home and support their families,” Nicholas G. Ingegno, Homeland Security Investigations Assistant Special Agent in Charge, said.

Following their recovery, the children were provided with medical care, food, and access to social services. Child advocates were also assigned to assist with placement and ongoing support.

Derrick Driscoll, chief operating officer of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, said each recovery represented an opportunity to prevent future harm.

“Each recovery represents a child removed from harm’s way and an opportunity to connect them with resources that can help prevent future victimization,” Driscoll said.

Authorities said the operation was conducted under the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act of 2015, which authorizes the U.S. Marshals Service to assist local and state agencies in missing child investigations.

Since the law was enacted, nearly 4,000 missing children have been located nationwide, representing a 66 percent recovery rate, according to the agency.

Numerous sheriff’s offices across North Florida participated, including those in Leon, Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, Bay, Jackson, Wakulla, Madison, Taylor, Suwannee, Alachua, and Marion counties.

Municipal police departments involved included Tallahassee, Pensacola, and Crestview.

Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Randy Tifft said some of the cases involved adults targeting vulnerable minors online.

“They coerce a lot of these young kids on online apps to meet up with them,” Tifft told WEAR.

“And a lot of them are kids that are having some troubles in schools or troubles at home.”

State agencies that assisted included the Florida Attorney General’s Office, Department of Law Enforcement, Highway Patrol, Department of Children and Families, and Department of Juvenile Justice. Federal partners included Homeland Security Investigations.

Advocacy groups credited for assisting in the operation included the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, Called2Rescue, and Shadows of Strength.

“This operation was carried out through a strong partnership between multiple agencies,” Leon County Sheriff Walt McNeil said.

“No child will be left behind.”

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier praised the operation in a post on X, writing, “Our office was honored to partner with U.S. Marshal Greg Leljedal in the Northern District of Florida to rescue 43 missing children, some as young as 18 months old. We will bring the strongest charges possible against those who put these kids in harm’s way.”

Vivek Ramaswamy Calls Out Everyone That Doesn’t Have a Place in the Conservative Movement

Vivek Ramaswamy said individuals who support specific positions or engage in certain rhetoric should not be considered part of the conservative movement, stating plainly that he will not apologize for drawing clear boundaries.

In a statement outlining his views on the direction of conservatism, Ramaswamy said the movement must exclude people who support policies or express beliefs he described as fundamentally incompatible with its principles.

“If you believe that boys should compete with girls in girls’ sports, I’m sorry you’re not on the team, you have no place in this movement,” Ramaswamy said.

Ramaswamy said he would be explicit even when the positions he criticized are widely debated or controversial, arguing that clarity is necessary for leadership within the movement.

“If you believe, thank you. It’s pretty obvious, but I’m gonna say it anyway,” he said.

He said support for race-based policies in government hiring also disqualifies individuals from being part of the conservative movement.

“If you believe in racial quotas and government hiring, you have no place in the conservative movement,” Ramaswamy said. “Sorry, you’re not on the team. You’re free to believe it. It’s a free country, but you have no place in the conservative movement.”

Ramaswamy also said he rejects any effort to normalize hostility toward ethnic groups, regardless of which group is targeted.

“If you believe in normalizing hatred towards any ethnic group, toward whites, towards blacks, towards Hispanics, towards Jews, towards Indians, you have no place in the future of the conservative movement period,” he said.

He said he would not retreat from those positions or soften his language to avoid criticism.

“And I will not apologize for that. I will not hedge when I say it,” Ramaswamy said.

Ramaswamy also addressed rhetoric that praises or excuses historical figures responsible for mass violence, saying admiration for such figures places individuals outside the conservative movement.

“If you believe and you will forgive me for giving you an exact quote from our online commentator Nick Fuentes, if you believe that Hitler was pretty fucking cool, you have no place in the future of the conservative movement,” he said.

He said debate on foreign policy issues is acceptable but does not extend to endorsing or excusing totalitarian leaders.

“You can debate foreign aid to Israel all you want. That’s fine. That’s fair, but you have no place with that level of hatred,” Ramaswamy said.

“You can debate the right resolution to the Russia Ukraine war, but if you believe Joseph Stalin is someone to look up to, you have no place in the future of the conservative movement.”

Ramaswamy also condemned personal attacks directed at public figures and their families, citing remarks aimed at Vice President J.D. Vance’s wife.

“If you call Usha Vance The Second Lady of the United States of America, a Jeet, you have no place in the future of the conservative movement,” he said.

He concluded by saying that leaders who are unwilling or unable to state these positions clearly should not hold leadership roles within conservatism.

“And if you can’t say those things without stuttering, then you have no place as a leader at any level in the conservative movement either, certainly not in my State of Ohio,” Ramaswamy said.
