Kamala Harris U-Turns On Concept She Once Co-Sponsored, Medicare For All

Kamala Harris is no stranger to a changing policy stances when convenient.

And now, with some help from the media, Harris has sought to change Americans’ perception of her as she bids to win the presidential election in November. In the absence of media scrutiny, the Vice President also stolen ideas from Republican rival Donald Trump and tried to portray them as her own, such as his “no tax on tips” proposal.

Her latest debacle involves Medicare for All – the Bernie Sanders-backed brainchild which would undoubtedly cost the American taxpayer billions (or trillions) where the federal government would cover the cost of all essential healthcare.

Pushing for “Medicare for All” is nothing new, with a modern push for it dating back to 2003 in the U.S. Despite repeated attempts, a bill in its favor has never passed Congress.

In 2019, as Sen. Sanders once again tried to pass the bill, the now-Vice President was happy to co-sponsor and offer her support, saying, “This is about a right, not just a privilege for a few.”

However, now her political career depends on it, Harris has scrapped her support for the concept she once co-sponsored in a complete U-turn.

One social media user noted the Vice President’s history of flip-flopping on important issues.

Some called for Harris to address the issue directly.

Others noted the Democrat’s ability to say whatever suits the electorate.

Study Claims Medieval Finnish Warrior Was Non-Binary

A medieval Finnish warrior discovered in 1968 has been declared non-binary following an absurd “study.”

Following initial publication in July 2021, the “study” largely went unnoticed until it was regurgitated by left-wing digital media outlet Joe.co.uk to mass ridicule from tens of thousands of commenters.

According to the study’s abstract, a weapon was found in a grave at Suontaka Vesitorninmäki, Hattula, in Finland. The grave is believed to be more than 1,000 years old.

In the more than five decades since its discovery, researchers have developed multiple theories over the individual dressed in “typical feminine costume of the era.” Some state that it is evidence of a powerful woman, while others believe the grave to be a double burial.

However, the study offered an alternative perspective.

“We present the first modern analysis of the grave, including an examination of its context, a soil sample analysis for microremains, and an aDNA analysis,” wrote the authors. “Based on these analyses, we suggest a new interpretation: the Suontaka grave possibly belonged to an individual with sex-chromosomal aneuploidy XXY.”

“The overall context of the grave indicates that it was a respected person whose gender identity may well have been non-binary,” authors added, with no explanation of how this is possible considering that the concept of “non-binary” is a new politically-motivated invention.

Social media users on Facebook ridiculed the report, as well as the publication by Joe.co.uk.

Others noted yet more insistence that society bows down to the Woke agenda.

Summary: Donald Trump’s Historic Interview With Elon Musk

Donald Trump’s interview with X CEO Elon Musk signaled a historic moment in political history; for the first time ever, a confirmed presidential candidate was interviewed on social media, providing access to all who had an account on the platform formerly known as Twitter.

The interview has garnered over 1 billion views on X since going live, though there is double counting in those figures.

While not Trump’s first appearance on X under Musk’s ownership, having previously sat down with Tucker Carlson on the site a year prior, the two-hour conversation came simultaneously as Trump returned to posting on the platform since being permanently banned in the last days of the presidency.

To break down the interview, citizen journalist @VigilantFox shared the key takeaways from a historic night.

Although the interview was supposed to begin at 8pm EST, an alleged DDOS attack delayed the live broadcast. Musk attributed this to “a lot of opposition” to Trump’s opportunity to speak freely to the American people.

After the technological problems were addressed, the two moved on to the assassination attempt on Trump in July.

Musk described the former president’s response as “inspiring”, with Trump crediting the “immigration chart” which forced him to swivel his head at just the right moment.

When the discussion shifted to policy, Trump unleashed on Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump accused Harris of stealing the “no tax on tips” policy despite hiring tens of thousands of IRS agents to target workers who are regularly tipped.

Trump also warned that Harris may allow up to 60 million new immigrants into the country.

On Joe Biden, Trump said he believed the President “might not even have an IQ at all.”

The X CEO also proposed a number of policy ideas of his own, including the creation of a “government efficiency commission” to regulate government spending.

Amid Musk’s dispute with the European Union, the business magnate noted that Trump “didn’t try to shut down the media” despite “relentless” attacks on his administration.

Whoops! Leftist Accidentally Criticizes Kamala Harris Rally For Covering Empty Seats

In the absence of policy announcements or face-to-face interviews with the media, Kamala Harris’ supporters have resorted to comparing attendance figures at her own and rival Donald Trump’s campaign rallies.

So far, their efforts have ranged from outright ridiculous to obvious falsities. A 3,000-strong rally – less than the average attendance at a Minor League Baseball game – began the Harris campaign, while recent weeks have shifted to attacking the numbers attending Trump’s own events.

Left-wing activist William LeGate tried a similar trick on Saturday, August 10, when he hit out at the use of a black screen to cover up empty seats at an indoor arena.

“Trump has “ordered” his team to literally *cover up* entire levels of venues he’s unable to fill with black cloths – to make it appear as if there aren’t thousands of empty seats,” he wrote on social media.

There was one problem with his claim, however, as Trending Politics co-owner Collin Rugg pointed out:

LeGate apparently didn’t see the Harris sign in the photo he posted.

Here’s a video from that Harris rally:

That’s right, the rally he criticized was in fact Vice President Harris’ in Arizona – a key swing state on the path to 270 Electoral College votes.

Needless to say, he deleted the post shortly after being called out, and his criticism reserved for Trump was not repeated.

Nevertheless, the post was shared by Collin Rugg soon after it was deleted.

LeGate later admitted the mistake and said he had been “misinformed,” which he embarrassingly tried to spin as a positive.

However, his lack of criticism for the Vice President did not go unnoticed.

Tim Walz Stolen Valor Scandal Grows As Former Battalion Commander Speaks Out

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has made his military service a part of his public image as he seeks to help Kamala Harris win the presidential election in November.

However, his former battalion commander shed light on Harris’ running mate after an interview with Ret. Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas Behrends aired – and it’s not looking good for him.

The National Guard veteran told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham that accusations of stolen valor are “far darker than a lot of people think,” adding that Walz had “used the rank that he never achieved in order to advance his political career.”

Following these public allegations, Walz’s battalion commander John Kolb ripped into the Democrat in a lengthy statement on Facebook.

“I do not regret that Tim Walz retired early from the Minnesota Army National Guard, did not complete the Sergeants Major Academy, broke his enlistment contract or did not successfully complete any assignment as a Sergeant Major,” he wrote. “Unwittingly, he got out of the way for better leadership. Thomas Behrends was the right leader at the right time. He sacrificed to answer the call, leaving his family, business and farming-partner brother to train, lead and care for soldiers.”

Kolb added that “when the demands of service and leadership at the highest level got real,” Walz “chose another path” instead.

Many online were stunned by the remarks, and called for further investigative reporting by the mainstream media.

Others noted that it was Walz’ claim to his rank which had caused divisions.

There was also speculation as to how the scandal could impact the race for the White House.

First All-Black Gymnastics Podium Short Lived Amid Olympic Judging Controversy

American gymnast Jordan Chiles is embroiled in a controversial situation following her performance at the Olympic Games in Paris.

In a series of appeals, Chiles’ fifth-placed performance was elevated to third after complaints by her coach in the floor exercise final. The Romanian Gymnastics Federation then appealed against this decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, alleging that the coach’s appeal came four seconds after the one-minute deadline. This was upheld, thus reinstating Romanian gymnast Ana Bărbosu to the bronze medal position.

USA Gymnastics has since appealed the appeal, citing video evidence that Chiles’ coach had met the one-minute deadline.

However, while she held the bronze medal spot, Chiles made comments pertaining to the ethnicity of all three athletes on the podium.

“In my head I think the last thing I really thought was, ‘We just made history,’ because it was an all-Black podium. I was in awe. I still have no words. If you ask me, I still am like… It’s crazy,” she told Teen Vogue.

“I think it also gives recognition to knowing that while the diversity in our sport is getting a lot better and people are understanding that our world is still going to be seen in black and white, it doesn’t matter,” she added. “But if we can express ourselves… then it’ll be easier to hopefully understand that. It’s not just going to be a once-in-a-lifetime thing. [This moment] is always going to be known.”

Later, her medal was withdrawn, prompting some on social media to point out the irony in prior comments about how an “all-Black podium” is “here to stay.”

Many on social media offered their own perspective on the controversy.

Trump Destroys Reporter For “Stupid” Question Over Campaign Schedule As Harris Hides

Every politician likes to run their own campaign in their own way.

For some, it could be oft-quoted comments under the guise of “no such thing as bad publicity.” For others, it could be on-the-ground engagement with voters in key demographics.

However, like it or loathe it, there’s no dodging the media in an election… apparently unless you’re Kamala Harris.

Harris has deployed the tactic of avoiding the media since her all-but confirmation as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee last month.

When l Donald Trump held a press conference at Mar-a-Lago he addressed the situation firsthand following a “stupid” question from a reporter.

When the reporter asked why the former president had not been campaigning nationwide, Trump said, “Because I’m leading by a lot, and because I’m letting their convention go through.”

“I’m campaigning a lot. I’m doing tremendous amounts of taping here. We have commercials at a level I don’t think anybody has ever done before,” Trump continued.

Adding that he had spoken to journalists throughout the week, as well as at the news conference, Trump added “She’s not doing any news conferences. You know why? Because she can’t do a news conference. She doesn’t know how to do a news conference. She’s not smart enough to do a news conference. And I’m sorry, we need smart people to lead this country.”

Many agreed with Trump’s remarks.

Others held high praise for the Republican.

Kamala Harris Doesn’t Bother Editing Her Speeches In “This State”

In a bid to demonstrate that she doesn’t just rely on a script, Kamala Harris has been repeating speeches at different rallies in different swing states.

Two separate rallies – both held on the same day in Wisconsin and Michigan – featured identical lines and mannerisms as she spoke to the paying audience.

Stood behind the Vice Presidential podium as if to remind people that she is partly responsible for the state of the country today, Harris delivered her speeches largely focused on beating Donald Trump and the importance of “this state.”

Among other parts of the speech that were identical, she notably told both states that they’re going to be the one to decide the election; “I am clear, the path to the White House runs right through this state,” she said (twice) on Wednesday.

Harris also repeated phrases such as “I took on perpetrators of all kinds,” as well as references to her summer job in McDonalds. Furthermore, the clip contains a bizarre side-by-side segment of Harris saying, “and when we fight, we win” with identical lack of enthusiasm at both rallies.

Many on social media had their own theories as to the reasoning for Harris’ repetitive rallies.

What’s your view as to why Vice President Harris is so repetitive? Let us know in the comments below.

Tim Walz Believes 10-Year-Olds Can Choose Their Own Gender

Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is arguably the most left-wing Democratic Party presidential ticket in modern history.

Both have been thrust into the political spotlight following President Joe Biden’s decision not to stand for re-election; Harris’ as the heir-apparent successor, with Gov. Walz has her running mate.

With the former under heavy scrutiny for avoiding the media, attention has turned to previous comments made by the pair as voters seek more information on the views of two people who wish to secure the presidency.

On social media, a clip from 2017 emerged of Gov. Walz addressing a town hall as Rep. for Minnesota’s 1st Congressional district, in which he said children as young as 10 could choose their own gender.

“These are children my son’s age, a fourth grader, a 10-year-old who, just wants to go to the bathroom… and their identity is male or female and they just go in that bathroom and use it,” Walz told the audience.

The Democratic VP pick has long held positions in support of transgenderism, including signing executive orders to make Minnesota a “trans refuge state” during his tenure as governor.

Many on social media were critical of Walz’s remarks in the clip.

Others presented actions concerned parents could take.

Britain

British Justice Secretary Promises 500 Prison Spaces for Right-Wing Protesters Despite Previous Overcrowding Fears

Speaking from experience, the United Kingdom is a desperate place at the moment.

The hope and optimism after the election of a new Labour government on July 4 has quickly faded away. Just one month after the polls closed, the country has witnessed riots not seen on British streets for 13 years.

It’s sad, more than anything else. Few people watch the news to become so infuriated that they decide to take their anger out on a pastry shop. Instead, they are saddened that the actions of politicians and the mainstream media has fueled the fan of frustrations among vocal minorities on either side of the political spectrum.

Just days after his electoral victory, Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced plans to release prisoners 40% of the way through their sentence (assuming, of course, they were eligible for parole). He deemed this to be a necessary step given “overcrowding” within the British prison system.

Yet, as the political elite have changed to a “tough on crime” stance to bring an end to the protests against mass immigration and migrant crime, prison spaces are suddenly becoming available.

On social media, Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood shared a Guadian article stating an extra 500 prison places would become available to accommodate convicted rioters.

The political approach of finding solutions only in times of exceptional – or selective demand is incredibly frustrating. It only raises questions as to why reducing minimum prison sentences, thus potentially releasing murderers, rapists, and pedophiles early, was initially prioritized over creating additional prison spaces.

Of course, threats from politicians can only infuriate further. It’s a dangerous route…

…one which some will deem Orwellian.
