Donald Trump Now Holds Net-Positive Approval Rating in Deep Blue State

Donald Trump currently maintains a favorable rating among voters in the deep blue state of New Jersey.

The Garden State has favored Democrats for almost four decades, having last voted in favor of a Republican in 1988. Trump is no exception, having only amassed around 41% of the vote in 2016 and 2020.

However, last year’s election proved to be his best yet in New Jersey, amassing 46% of the vote compared to Kamala Harris’ 52% – a surprisingly strong result meaning the election was actually closer in New Jersey than the swing state of Arizona.

Now, a new Emerson College poll now reveals a surge in favorability for the President – 48% of the polls respondents said they had a favorable view of Trump, compared to 46% who did not, for a net +2 favorable rating, something thought nearly impossible even weeks ago. A further 6% of voters had a neutral view of the President.

The poll comes amid a historically productive first week for Trump, signing executive orders declaring a national emergency at the border with Mexico, reinstating the Remain in Mexico policy, ending birthright citizenship, ending DEI, withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord, making the U.S. officially only recognize two sexes, and literally hundreds more.

Many were upbeat by the President’s surge in the traditionally pro-Democrat state.

Other commentors piled on praise for conservative activist Scott Presler.

House Speaker Announces Investigation Into “Disgusting” Presidential Pardons

House Speaker Mike Johnson announced a Congressional investigation into Joe Biden’s “disgusting” last-minute pardons of family members and government officials.

At the weekly House Republican press conference on Wednesday, Johnson slammed the former president for his “shocking” pardons, which saw Biden’s brothers, sister and in-laws receive preemptive pardons along with officials such as Anthony Fauci and Gen. Mark Milley.

“It was shocking. I mean, it was shocking what President Biden did on the way out, pardoning his family for more than a decade of whatever activity, any nonviolent offenses. It was breathtaking to us,” Johnson said. “I don’t think that’s anything like that’s ever been anticipated. And by the way, go look at the tape. You know, four years ago when it was just implied that President Trump might do something similar, they were apoplectic. Joe Biden himself, Adam Schiff, Chuck Schumer, roll the tape. They all said that would be crazy and unconscionable. And now they’re cheering it along.”

Describing Biden’s actions as “disgusting,” the House Speaker added: “To us, it probably proves the point. The suspicion that, you know, they call it the Biden crime family. If they weren’t the crime family, why do they need pardons? Right? Look, there’s a lot of attention that’s going to be paid to this. And I think that is appropriate. And we will be looking at it as well.”

Meanwhile, Trump hinted that Biden could be prosecuted because he didn’t pardon himself. “This guy went around giving everybody pardons. And you know, the funny thing, maybe the sad thing, is he didn’t give himself a pardon. And if you look at it, it all had to do with him,” he told Sean Hannity last night.

Many on social media were in agreement with Johnson’s remarks.

Others called for pursuing legal action.

Joe Biden Pardoned More People Than Any Other Living President

Joe Biden pardoned more people than any other president during his four-year tenure with the exception of one: Jimmy Carter.

The former president’s last hours in office saw him controversially issue pardons to government officials and family members, subsequently raising questions as to how many people Biden had pardoned.

In total, the 82-year-old pardoned 8034 people – 6500 of whom had their convictions quashed for marijuana possession. Only Jimmy Carter, who signed Proclamation 4483, granting conditional amnesty to more than 200,000 people who evaded the draft during the Vietnam War supersedes Biden’s tally. Even with the 6500 marijuana commutations excluded, this still holds true for Biden.

Reconstruction Era president Andrew Johnson is third on the list for his pardon of 7,654 people – many of whom were ex-Confederates. Franklin D. Roosevelt, during his 12-year tenure, issued 3,687 pardons while Woodrow Wilson rounded off the top five (2,480).

On Monday, President Donald Trump pardoned 1,500 defendants of Jan. 6, adding to his 237 from his first term – which sent liberals liberals into hysterics. Oddly, the same liberals didn’t make a peep when he was preemptively pardoning his family, or letting murderers off death row.

Barack Obama pardoned 1,927 people while in office – far more than the 459 and 200 of Bill Clinton and George W. Bush respectively.

Only William Henry Harrison and James A. Garfield pardoned no one during their short-lived stints in office, while George Washington pardoned the fewest people of any president to serve a full term.

Do Joe Biden And Kamala Harris Hate Each Other?

Official Government accounts are a strange thing.

Donald Trump, for example, now has ownership of the @POTUS handle as well as @realDonaldTrump on X, despite the fact that his preferred platform is his very own Truth Social.

Most politicians have two accounts: one for official government duty, and another to share personal thoughts and opinions. Up until Monday, Jan. 20, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were no different.

Intriguingly, though, neither have shared too much love for each other since the election on their personal pages. The bizarre “bromance” between Biden and Barack Obama widely discussed among Democrats in the final days of the latter’s presidency seems like a bygone era.

Biden and Harris barely referenced each other during the transition period, with Harris only posting about her former boss once following her landslide defeat in November last year.

The Independent reported that the two’s relationship had turned “frosty”. And according to a Wall Street Journal article, Harris was reportedly upset over Biden’s publicly-stated belief that he could have beaten the 47th President of the United States.

This discontent has, arguably, been apparent for some time. After being forced from the Democratic nomination, Biden pulled stunts such as appearing in a MAGA hat while issuing ill-advised remarks about Trump’s supporters. He also smiled with glee the day after the election, and there were many times where Jill Biden seemed to enjoy the company of her husband’s political rival more than his second-in-command.

Do Biden and Harris now hate each other? It’s a strong word, and the two – at least at a personal level – can look back at fond memories of their four-year tenure. It’s unlikely, however, they’ll be on each other’s Christmas card list anytime soon.

Democrat Sen. Leader Chuck Schumer Once Described Preemptive Pardons As “A Gross Abuse” Of Power

Joe Biden spent his last hours in office issuing presidential pardons to allies and later family members.

The former president issued preemptive pardons in the dying minutes of his presidency. Ex-White House chief medical adviser, Anthony Fauci, retired Gen. Mark Milley and lawmakers who investigated Jan. 6 all received presidential pardons as Biden claimed they faced “revenge” under the new administration.

Furthermore, with less than 20 minutes before his tenure officially came to an end, Biden pardoned relatives such as brothers James and Francis, sister Valerie and sister and brother-in-law respectively, Sara and John Biden.

“My family has been subjected to unrelenting attacks and threats, motivated solely by a desire to hurt me – the worst kind of partisan politics. Unfortunately, I have no reason to believe these attacks will end,” Biden said.

However, his last-minute pardons – timely issued as the eyes of the world centered on President Donald Trump’s inauguration – spurred criticism of hypocrisy for someone who criticized his successor for exploring pardons four years ago.

Trump’s usage of pardons was slammed by senior Democrats during the last transition of power. Following Biden’s sweeping wave of statements on Jan. 20, 2025, a resurfaced clip of Democrat Senate leader Chuck Schumer lambasting the now two-term president went viral on X.

Sen. Schumer described Trump’s proposed use of preemptive pardons as a “a gross abuse of the presidential pardon authority” in the closing days of Trump’s first presidency – comments which were revisited by conservatives online on Inauguration Day.

Others called for constitutional reform on the use of pardons.

WATCH: The Village People Perform Y.M.C.A. At Donald Trump’s Victory Rally

Donald Trump capped off a remarkable victory rally ahead of Inauguration Day with a live performance of Y.M.C.A. by the Village People.

The 1978 #1 hit, which became the closer for MAGA rallies throughout the campaign, skyrocketed in popularity as a result of the President-elect’s influence. Trump would perform his signature dance at the end of almost all of his rallies, which played a key factor in his electoral victory last November.

Following the election, the “Trump dance” became a signature celebration in many sporting events. At UFC 309, heavyweight champion Jon Jones performed the dance in front of the President-elect, while it also swept the NFL and even the third division of English soccer.

Despite an initial reluctance to permit use of the song, Village People frontman Victor Willis expressed his support for Y.M.C.A.’s association with the Republican in December. He also hinted he would be “open” to performing the #1 hit at Trump’s inauguration.

On Sunday, Jan. 19, the prospect of a live performance came true as thousands flocked to the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. The Village People came together for the live rendition, with Trump taking center stage with his iconic dance moves.

Check it out for yourself – and yes, he does the dance.

The group took an ovation and shook hands with Trump before departing the stage.

Further musical performances are earmarked for Inauguration Day, with Carrie Underwood set to perform America the Beautiful as part of the festivities.

Joe Biden Declares Proposed 28th Amendment As “Law Of The Land” (It Isn’t)

Outgoing President Joe Biden has falsely claimed that the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) has been ratified, describing it as “law of the land.”

The ERA has been in the political theatre for as long as Biden himself, having been passed by Congress in 1972. The primary clause states, “Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex.”

It has received support from red and blue states amid concerns over potentially undermining traditional gender roles and laws related to women’s protections. By the time of the March 1979 deadline, 35 states had ratified the proposed amendment, with three more doing in the 21st century.

Biden said in a statement on Friday, Jan. 17, that Virginia’s 2020 ratification meant the required 38 state threshold had been reached.

“The American Bar Association (ABA) has recognized that the Equal Rights Amendment has cleared all necessary hurdles to be formally added to the Constitution as the 28th Amendment. I agree with the ABA and with leading legal constitutional scholars that the Equal Rights Amendment has become part of our Constitution,” the White House said in a statement.

“It is long past time to recognize the will of the American people. In keeping with my oath and duty to Constitution and country, I affirm what I believe and what three-fourths of the states have ratified: the 28th Amendment is the law of the land, guaranteeing all Americans equal rights and protections under the law regardless of their sex.”

However, Biden’s claim has been dubious, with Archivist of the United States Dr. Colleen Shogan and Deputy Archivist William J. Bosanko of the National Archives issuing a statement on the proposed amendment in December 2024.

Arguing that the ERA could not be certified “due to established legal, judicial, and procedural decisions”, the two said, “In 2020 and again in 2022, the Office of Legal Counsel of the U.S. Department of Justice affirmed that the ratification deadline established by Congress for the ERA is valid and enforceable. The OLC concluded that extending or removing the deadline requires new action by Congress or the courts. Court decisions at both the District and Circuit levels have affirmed that the ratification deadlines established by Congress for the ERA are valid. Therefore, the Archivist of the United States cannot legally publish the Equal Rights Amendment.”

Biden was quickly subject to a community notes check on X, while many commentors also disputed his claim.

Others believed the declaration to be unconstitutional.

Joe Rogan Shuts Down Mark Zuckerberg Over COVID-19 Vaccines As Meta Owner Continues Self-Rebrand

Mark Zuckerberg was shut down by Joe Rogan in a landmark appearance on the world’s most popular podcast.

The Meta owner, who oversees social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram as well as messaging service WhatsApp, sat down with the UFC commentator for a three-hour podcast released on Friday, Jan. 10 (full interview below).

Zuckerberg has sought to distance himself from his previous positions since the presidential election. He has removed third-party factcheckers from Facebook, instead replacing it with a community notes system akin to Elon Musk’s X. He has also rewritten platform guidelines on free speech, while appointing UFC president Dana White to Meta’s board of directors.

As he tries to rejuvenate his public image ahead of the Donald Trump administration, Zuckerberg has become more critical of Joe Biden’s presidency. On Friday, he accused the federal government of pushing a pro-vaccination agenda onto Meta during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“They pushed us super hard to take down things that were honestly true,” Zuckerberg said, adding that the administration also pushed his company to remove memes from the site. “They basically pushed us and said anything that says that vaccines might have side effects, you basically need to take down.”

Zuckerberg continued to defend his company throughout the interview with a particular focus on the future of Meta. However, when the conversation returned to vaccination, Zuckerberg said that he believed the vaccination push was a “good goal” even if he did not necessarily agree with the administration’s’ approach.

“I still think it’s good for more people to get the vaccine,” Zuckerberg said. “I’m not sure in that case how much of it [censorship] was like a personal political gain that they were going for. I think that they had a kind of goal that they thought was in the interests of the country. And the way they went about it, I think, violated the law.”

Rogan interjected, saying he believed there were “a bunch of problems” with the approach.

“There’s the emergency use authorization that they needed in order to get this pushed through. And you can’t have that without valid therapeutics being available. And so, they suppressed valid therapeutics. So, they’re suppressing real information that would lead to people being healthy and successful in defeating this disease,” Rogan said.

“And they did that so that they could have this one solution. And this was Fauci’s game plan. I mean, this is the movie Dallas Buyers Club. That’s Fauci in that movie. That was with the AIDS crisis. This is the exact same game plan that was played out with the COVID vaccine.”

“They pushed one solution, this only one, suppressed all therapeutics through propaganda, through suppressing monoclonal antibodies, like all of it. And that was done, in my opinion, for profit. And they did that because it was extremely profitable. The amount of money that was made was extraordinary during that time.”

The interview generated widespread debate on social media, with some praising Zuckerberg for criticizing the Biden administration.

Many, however, saw through his attempts at a self-rebrand.

McDonald’s Becomes First Corporation In 2025 To Revoke Woke DEI Policies

McDonald’s has announced it will roll back its DEI practices amid a conservative campaign to scrap affirmative action.

The fast-food giant is the latest major corporation to reevaluate its diversity, equity and inclusion practices which enforce diversity quotas on staff recruitment and woke training practices.

Filmmaker turned anti-DEI crusader Robby Starbuck shared the news on his X account, and explained that McDonald’s would be removing race-based hiring quotas as part of its recruitment processes. They will also be ditching the Corporate Equality Index which forces firms to hire based on sexuality, while the DEI pledge to prioritize supplies based on diversity quotas will also be scrapped.

On social media, Starbuck said, “We’ve now changed policy at companies worth well over $2.3 Trillion dollars (combined), with many millions of employees who have better workplace environments as a result.”

He added, “Our campaigns are so effective that we’re getting the biggest companies on earth to change their policies without me even posting a story exposing their woke policies first. Companies can see that America wants sanity back. The era of wokeness is dying right in front of our eyes. The landscape of corporate America is quickly shifting to sanity and neutrality. We are the trend, not the anomaly anymore.”

McDonald’s move to eradicate diversity echoes changes made at companies such as Tractor Supply, Harley-Davidson, Caterpillar, Toyota, and Boeing, – all of which have withdrawn from the Corporate Equality Index. Some, like John Deere, Lowe’s, and Ford, have also withdrawn sponsorship of Pride events, while others such as Molson Coors and Walmart have removed diversity quotas for suppliers.

Many on social media were full of praise for the conservative campaigner.

Others agreed with McDonald’s shift in policy.

“We Did It, Joe!” – Poll Finds Biden Is Set To Go Down As One Of America’s Worst Ever Presidents

A new Gallup poll suggests that Americans believe Joe Biden’s presidency will go down as one of the worst in modern history.

The poll, taken in December, asked respondents on how they believed each president since the 1960s would “go down in history”, ranking their performance from “outstanding” to “poor”.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, John F. Kennedy topped the charts with a net positive rating of +68. He was followed by Ronald Reagan (+38) and Barack Obama (+21).

Biden’s tenure had an average rating of -35, with more than a third (37%) believing his tenure would go down as “poor”. Just over a quarter (26%) believed history would deem his presidency as “average”, while less than one-fifth (19%) thought it would be “above average” or “outstanding.”

And remember, that’s with the entirety of the mainstream media in the tank for him. Trump faced an unprecedented onslaught, and was still 31 points more favorable than Biden.

Republicans were overwhelmingly critical of the President, but he did not muster much support from independent or Democrat voters either. More than half (51%) of independents thought his tenure was “below average” or worse, while only 44% had a positive view of the past four years.

Only Richard Nixon, the only U.S. President to have ever resigned from office, was deemed to have a worse standing among respondents.

Meanwhile, in the FiveThirtyEight poll Trump has a net positive rating for the first time ever – and given how biased the polls are, it’s likely even higher than it looks.

Many on social media were unsurprised by the results.

Other commentors ranked him behind Nixon.
