Taylor Swift’s Endorsement Of Harris Prompts More People To Vote For Trump

Following the presidential debate last week, pop singer Taylor Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming election.

The climate conscious singer’s endorsement was perhaps no surprise given that her political positions have often favored Democrats. In the 2018 mid-term elections, Swift endorsed Tennessee Democrats Phil Bredesen and Jim Cooper. In 2020, she publicly endorsed the Biden-Harris ticket.

While predictable, the singer – whose songs often contain references to her own bad decision-making – was expected to carry some weight in convincing moderate “Swifties” to vote Democrat.

However, that’s not happening.

While Donald Trump may “hate” Taylor Swift, Harris must feel the same to some extent too following the release of a YouGov poll on Saturday. Only 8% of respondents to the poll said Swift’s endorsement is “somewhat” or “much more likely” to convince them to vote Democrat. Interestingly, 20% of respondents said they were now “somewhat” or “much less likely” to support Harris after receiving the singer’s backing. The majority of those polled said it had made no difference on their voting intentions (66%).

Many respondents were split as to whether Swift’s endorsement will have a positive effect on Harris’ campaign (32%) or no difference at all (27%). Fans made up 34% of those surveyed, with her biggest supporters being female, registered Democrats who were going to vote Harris regardless.

The poll’s results were humorous to many on social media.

Others speculated that Swift’s reputation as a wealthy celebrity failed to resonate with millions of Americans.

Kamala Harris Was So Crazy Even Liberals Couldn’t Believe It

Kamala Harris’ 2019 presidential campaign was so left-wing that even liberals in 2024 are struggling to believe her previous policy pledges – and some legitimately think Donald Trump was making them up when he criticized them.

Harris’ first attempt at the White House capitulated in 2019 with her campaign’s suspension paving the way for Joe Biden to secure the Democratic nomination and later the presidency.

Her second effort has contained a renewed focus while simultaneously ditching the most left-wing policies she once (publicly) stood for in an attempt to pretend to move to the center to make it easier to get elected. Harris’ far-left policies are so crazy that they’re surprising leftists – including leftist New Yorker writer Susan Glasser who penned an article criticizing Trump for supposedly making up Harris’ policy positions.

“[Trump’s] line about how the Vice-President ‘wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens that are in prison’ was pretty memorable,” wrote Glasser. “What the hell was he talking about? No one knows, which was, of course, exactly Harris’s point.”

Fortunately, community notes came to the rescue. Harris did indeed support transgender operations for detainees.

In response to a questionnaire from the American Civil Liberties Union, Harris said, “I support policies ensuring that federal prisoners and detainees are able to obtain medically necessary care for gender transition, including surgical care, while incarcerated or detained.”

Conservatives on social media gave Glasser’s article the ridicule it deserves.

Some users even corrected her through CNN!

When CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski appeared on the network to discuss his article on Harris’ past stances, CNN’s Erin Burnett was visibly shocked on air to learn that Harris did in fact support gender transition surgeries for illegals.

“She actually said she supported that?” Burnett asked CNN colleague when he explained her support for “taxpayer-funded gender care and transition surgeries for detained migrants.” Kaczynski confirmed that this was true – and that she supported it for federal prisoners too.

Springfield Residents “Displaced” As Landlords Triple Rent Prices To Accommodate Haitian Migrants

A resident of Springfield, OH, has told a city commission meeting that locals are being displaced from their homes to make way for Haitian migrants.

The man, who has not been named, said the federal government was paying “triple the rent” for Haitians arriving in the town, thus incentivizing landlords to prioritize immigrants over existing residents.

Addressing the city commission, the resident – who said he’d worked with the homeless community for more than 25 years – said he didn’t know of “a single homeless Haitian in this town because they all got vouchers” from the federal government.

“I personally know, and I’ll testify under oath [with] my hand to God, somebody that their house – they were there seven years,” he told the meeting. “Somebody that lost their house, they were there seven years. The landlord said, ‘Hey, I need you to move out. Find a temporary place. I’m gonna remodel it and then you can come back.’”

“They moved him out [and] tripled the rent,” he added before being cut off by the commission.

Watch:

Many on social media felt sympathy for those who had been displaced.

Blame was also laid on landlords and the federal government.

Tim Walz Accidentally Calls Kamala Harris A Prostitute In Bizarre Michigan Rally

A rally by Kamala Harris and Tim Walz caught the attention of social media users on Thursday, Sept. 10 for its bizarre chants, strange behavior and a huge Freudian slip.

The two campaigned in Grand Rapids, MI, as part of a tour of swing states the Democratic ticket needs to win if they are to secure the White House for another four years.

Minnesota Gov. Walz took to the stage first for a strange, longwinded speech which, as predicted, largely focused on attacking Donald Trump. During the speech, Walz prompted a chant of “we’re not eating cats” in response to the recent allegations in Springfield, OH.

He also praised Harris’ political upbringing, although mistakenly called her a “young prostitute-r”.

As Walz’ speech came to a close, the vice presidential nominee cringe-inducingly gesticulated across the stage.

His “prostitute” remarks were highly discussed on X, with many seeing the humor in the Freudian error.

A Minnesota resident tried to offer an explanation.

Seattle Times Blasts Trump – Is Immediately Debunked by Their Own Reporting

The Seattle Times contradicted its own reporting when attacking Donald Trump, leading to an astounding community note regarding 2020 protests in the Washington city.

The liberal publication shared an article on X relating to Trump’s comments about the protests in the aftermath of the Black Lives Matter riots. During the presidential debate on Tuesday, Trump was asked if he had any regrets over the events of January 6, 2021.

He correctly replied in the negative, adding; “When are the people that burned down Minneapolis going to be prosecuted or in Seattle? They went into Seattle, they took over a big percentage of the city of Seattle. When are those people going to be prosecuted?”

The Times attempted to claim Trump’s comments relating to the size of the Seattle’s Capitol Hill Organized Protest area were false, claiming Trump was false to suggest that protesters took over part of Seattle in 2020.

Trumo was clearly speaking about the the Capitol Hill Organized Protest/Zone (CHOP/CHAZ), which spanned around six blocks in the heart of the city from June 2020 before being disbanded due to ongoing violence. (As mentioned in the community note) so widely reported on was this that the Seattle Times themselves covered it (approvingly, of course) and sent a reporter it it when it was still a thing.

Amazingly, the CHAZ was less than two blocks from the Times’ offices.

But now the Times is playing dumb… while also actually being dumb.

Many on social media slammed the publication’s contradictory reporting which led to the eventual community note.

A local resident was particularly irate with the Times.

Another highlighted that the publication seemed to contradict its own reporting within the same article.

White House Defends President Biden’s “Endorsement” Of Donald Trump

The White House has defended Joe Biden’s (brief) decision to wear a pro-Donald Trump hat at a 9/11 memorial gathering of Pennsylvania firefighters.

Images circulated on social media of the President donning a “Trump 2024” hat just hours after the presidential debate between the Republican and Vice President Kamala Harris, during which the former president joked about sending his adversary a MAGA hat for continuing to implement Trump-era trade tariffs, and said Biden “hated” his Democratic successor for the events which led to his decision to drop out of the race.

At the memorial in Shanksville to commemorate Flight 93, Biden met with firefighters, many of whom were Trump supporters. After some joking about his age, Biden offered an autographed presidential cap in exchange for the Trump hat.

“I ain’t going that far,” Biden said to shouts of “put it on!” before donning the pro-Trump cap to large cheers.

It was a stark contrast to how the opposite would go. While liberals portray Trump as Hitler 2.0 (and legitimately believe this, as is evidenced by their actions), the same Republicans who believe Biden is the worst president ever still show him respect to his face – whether he deserves it or now.

Later on, Biden was also pictured with children, the majority of which were wearing t-shirts in support of Trump.

The Trump campaign thanked Biden “for the support” in a photo which quickly went viral.

Minutes later, White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates defended the President’s decision to don a hat in support of his predecessor.

“At the Shanksville Fire Station, [President Biden] spoke about the country’s bipartisan unity after 9/11 and said we needed to get back to that,” wrote Bates on X. “As a gesture, he gave a hat to a Trump supporter who then said that in the same spirit, POTUS should put on his Trump cap. He briefly wore it.”

Conservatives on social media were less convinced by the rushed explanation.

Others alluded to Trump’s claim that Biden despises the Vice President.

Key Moments Of Trump v. Harris Debate Summarized

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris faced off on Tuesday for the first (and perhaps only) presidential debate between them. The debate was the first time the two had ever met, and neither wasted any time in getting stuck into the 90-minute slugfest.

Harris’ minimal debate experience was noted early on, with the Vice President focusing on rehearsed talking points in what.

ABC’s second topic of discussion was abortion – an issue which resonates strongly among liberal women. Although an advantageous issue for Harris, her comment that “the freedom to make decisions about one’s own body should not be made by the government” raised eyebrows given vaccine mandates under the Biden-Harris administration.

The debate itself featured controversial on-the-fly fact-checking by ABC’s moderators. However, while eager to dispute the claim regarding the consumption of pets in Springfield, OH, David Muir and Linsey Davis were silent following Harris’ attempts to connect the former president to Project 2025 and other issues.

There was also no fact-checking on the Vice President’s claims over Trump’s “bloodbath” comments, which the liberal media deliberately took out of context.

Despite claiming her values “haven’t changed,” Harris struggled to answer questions where she had reversed policy decisions such as scrapping private healthcare.

Trump’s strongest moments came in the second half when he disputed the Democrat’s “threat to democracy” claim by pointing out that she herself had not been selected by the party’s voters.

The deposition of Joe Biden was a recurring theme in the latter stages, with the former president arguing that his ex-rival was thrown “out of a campaign like a dog.”

Another weakness for the Vice President was her lack of action despite being in office for nearly four years.

Harris’ pledges to fix the country and bring “a new way forward” concluded her contribution to the debate.

Nevertheless, Trump capitalized and asked, “Why hasn’t she done it?” in reference to her policy pledges and tenure in office.

“Does That Sound Familiar?” – Trump Owns Harris After Interruption In Debate

Donald Trump used one of Kamala Harris’ own tricks against her in the first presidential debate between the two.

The debate, which is the only scheduled head-to-head between the two at this moment in time, featured muted microphones to minimize shouting matches throughout the 90-minute affair. Although the television audience could only hear muffled comments when the mics were off, the overlap in words proved distracting for those in the studio.

Many speculated that Harris didn’t want mics to be muted because it would prevent her from making a snarky remark that the liberal media could turn into the “line of the night.” Her “I’m speaking” moment during her 2020 debate with Mike Pence comes to mind. In her only memorable moment from that debate (because she has no real substance), Harris said; “Mr. Vice President, I’m speaking,” when Pence interrupted her.

Instead, mics were muted – and it was Trump to deliver her own line to her.

As Trump discussed Harris’ previous support for defunding the police, the Democrat said “that’s not true” into her muted microphone.

“Wait a minute, I’m talking now if you don’t mind. Please. Does that sound familiar?” Trump replied to a stunned Harris.

Trump’s comments were a reference to the 2020 vice presidential debate between Harris and Mike Pence.

Social media held widespread praise for the former president.

Another commentor was relieved that Harris had been muted.

Older Voters Most Likely To Be Democrat While GOP Gains Young Adults, Poll Finds

The GOP has long unfairly been stereotyped as a party for old white men by its critics.

Long-standing beliefs typically portray younger voters as more liberal compared to their parents, with conservatism rising among older age groups. However, a New York Times/Siena poll found that nothing could be further from the truth.

A poll of 1,374 respondents found a roughly equal split among Republican, Democrat and independent voters with approximately 30% in each category.

37% of women are registered Democrat compared to just 21% of men, according to the poll. 35% of male respondents identified as Republican (29% for women) while men were also more likely to be independent voters by a nine percentage point split.

And, most surprising of all, as Michael Tracey notes, is that the demographic that now identifies most with Democrats are voters age 65+ (with only 37% identifying with Democrats), while the demo that identifies least with Democrats is voters age 18-29 (of which only 22% identify with Democrats).

Meanwhile, Republicans get an identical 37% support from the age 65+ demographic, and 26% support in the 18-29 demo.

Whenit comes to voter enthusiasm, those age 65+ were also the most enthusiastic about the upcoming election, correlating with their support for Donald Trump. While party identification is now identical for both parties in the 65+ demo, Trump is pulling more support overall than Harris.

Younger voters have historically supporter Democrats, and this polling doesn’t necessarily mean that’s going to change in 2024, because a large share of the 18-29 demo is likely unaffiliated but left-leaning.

That being said, Harris is on track to receive significantly less support from the younger demo that Biden. When looking at voters under age 35, Biden won that demo by 21-points – but polling right after Harris was made nominee showed she’d only win that demo by 9 points. Bear in mind the “honeymoon effect” was live during that poll.

Many on social media were surprised by the Democrats’ continued support among older voters.

Others noted the trend among younger voters.

Kamala Harris’ New Policy Page Was Quite Literally Copied And Pasted From Joe Biden’s Campaign

Kamala Harris’ long-awaited “issues” page on her campaign website was copied and pasted from Joe Biden’s re-election campaign platform, it has been discovered, proving that she’s officially stealing from with the Trump and Biden campaigns.

The Harris campaign launched the page after months of speculation over what her policy platform entailed, and repeated criticism from Donald Trump and other conservatives. In addition to repeated false claims about Trump’s association with Project 2025, the page pledges “A New Way Forward” focusing on the economy, civil liberties and justice.

However, when the new page was shared among Democratic circles, many noticed a glaring issue; it had been directly copied from President Biden’s shelved campaign.

“Join our campaign to re-elect Joe Biden today,” read the meta description for those sent a link to the website.

If you searched for Harris’ issues page on Google, the “re-elect Joe Biden today!” line is repeated in the description.

The Vice President faces an uphill struggle to differentiate herself from a president whose chances of re-election were so slim that his own party ousted him before it was too late. A fresh face has brought renewed hope for the Democrats, but governance over giggling will triumph in any election. If she cannot present herself as a beacon of change from the previous four years, her tenure in office will come to an end on January 20, 2025.

There is, of course, another problem for Harris. The fact that she has finally released a policy platform is not enough for many moderates; if her pledges lack substance, they are unlikely to carry her to the White House.

Before the Harris campaign finally added an issues page to their website, the website included more pronouns than policies.
