J.D. Vance Gives Dignified Response After Being Denied Entry to Pittsburgh Culinary Landmark

Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance offered a classy response after being asked to leave a Pennsylvania restaurant during a campaign stop.

Sen. Vance’s campaign stopped by the Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar in North Versailles, PA, over the weekend on a planned visit to greet supporters. However, the trip was cut short when Vance was asked to leave.

The restaurant was previously visited by the Harris-Walz campaign in August, with customers reportedly forced out in order to make way for the Democratic ticket’s visit.

Despite not being welcomed with open arms like this viral was, the vice presidential nominee showed dignity when speaking with supporters outside the restaurant.

“We paid for everybody’s food, we gave them a nice tip and, of course, when I gave a nice tip, I said no taxes on tips,” Vance said in reference to the Donald Trump policy. “It’s all right, don’t hold it against [the staff] – she just got a little nervous, but it’s a great local business. Let’s keep on supporting it.”

Vance also paid the bills of disgruntled customers who left after he was kicked out.

Primanti Bros. later issued a statement on social media.

Nevertheless, not all on social media were best pleased by the restaurant’s actions.

Others called for a business-wide boycott.

And the Harris campaign openly bragged about Primanti discriminating against one of their opponents.

Pro-Hezbollah Journalist Reduced To Tears After Learning on Air the Terror Group’s Leader Had Been Killed

A Lebanese “journalist” who claims to be an ardent supporter of the Hezbollah terror group broke down in tears upon learning of the death of Hassan Nasrallah.

The former Hezbollah leader was killed in an Israeli air strike on Saturday, Sept. 28. The attack came after Nasrallah spent much of his later life in public hiding due to his detest of the Israeli state.

The Kremlin-owned Russia Today was conducting an interview with Marwa Osman – a prominent supporter of the terror group’s activities in Lebanon and reporter for the Iran-backed Press TV. She had previously mocked attacks on Jewish citizens when Hamas invaded Israeli territory while also praising the kidnappings conducted against innocent civilians on October 7, 2023.

Upon learning about the death of Nasrallah on Saturday, Osman broke down in tears, waving her hands in front of the camera before turning off her screen as the host says “so sorry, let’s end the interview there.”

Many on social media simply couldn’t help but laugh at her despair.

Despite breaking down on television, Osman tried to regain her composure after the clip went viral.

Kid’s One Word Response To Question About Kamala Harris Leaves Social Media Laughing

A CNN segment left conservatives in stiches when it went viral on social media.

The segment, titled “kids on politics”, involved a number of elementary school children responding to questions about the upcoming presidential election. The kids surveyed attended schools in safe states such as New Jersey and Texas, as well as the battleground of Arizona.

One child praised Donald Trump for “giving his life and his heart” to the country. But, it was the response of another adolescent which caught the attention of social media.

“What’s the first word that pops into you head when you hear the name Kamala Harris?” the ten-year-old was asked.

“Liar,” was his response.

The clip caught the attention of Donald Trump Jr., who said, “The kids always know.”

Social media commentors held high praise for the pro-Trump kid.

That said, not everyone agreed with CNN’s decision to interview children for their political views.

Mark Cuban Thinks The Mainstream Media Is Right-Wing

Left-wing billionaire Mark Cuban was the subject of a car crash interview with CNBC on Thursday, Sept. 26.

The Shark Tank star has been a prolific supporter of Kamala Harris throughout her short campaign, and has followed the party line in bashing Donald Trump wherever possible.

His comments have often been met with ridicule, and Thursday morning’s interview was no exception.

Despite his insistence to praise Harris, Cuban was struck down by conservative news anchor Joe Kernan when the billionaire tried to dismiss the Vice President’s association with the current administration. “So, she can take credit for the good things that happened with Biden, but she didn’t have anything to do with the bad things,” said Kernan.

Another clip from the interview dominated social media shortly after it aired. In a bid to save face, Cuban claimed that the mainstream media had turned conservative due to Fox News’ popularity among viewers. “The mainstream media is not who you think it is. The mainstream media truly leans right,” Cuban said.

This is despite evidence that just over 3% of journalists are affiliated with the GOP according to a recent poll. By contrasts, around half (51.7%) describe themselves as an independent, while more than a third (36.4%) are tied to the Democratic Party.

Social media commenters noted that many media outlets probably seem right-wing to the far-left Cuban.

Others expressed disappointment for a man they perhaps once admired.

Tim Walz Appointee Called For “Overthrow” Of United States In Since-Deleted Video

An appointee of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s administration called for the “overthrow” of the United States, it’s been revealed.

Brian Lozenski, a self-described critical race theorist, was appointed by Gov. Walz’s education department to write the statewide curriculum for Minnesota’s new “ethnic studies” standards.

Although the state’s “implementation framework” was earmarked for public consultation, it’s now unlikely the public will have their say before the October 31 deadline. This is despite the controversial nature of the new ethnic studies which critics have labeled “anti-American.”

In a 2022 video, Lozenski talked about the use of critical race theory in schools.

“We don’t use critical race theory in school,” said Lozenski. “The first tenet of critical race theory is that the United States as constructed is irreversibly racist. So if the nation-state as constructed is irreversibly racist, then it must be done with, it must be overthrown, right?”

Lozenski went on to say that critical race theory is beyond “telling our stories and divers[ity]”.

“t’s not about that. It’s about overthrow. It’s insurgent. And we, we need to be, I think, more honest with that,” he added.

The video has since been deleted, although a snippet was uploaded to social media leaving commentors astonished by Lozenski’s remarks.

Others described his comments as treasonous.

Alabama Residents Accuse Government Officials Of Gaslighting In Haitian Migrant Row

Residents of an Alabama city accused councilmembers of “gaslighting” amid concerns over an influx of Haitian migrants.

Earlier in September, a councilmember and two state Reps. signed a letter requesting federal support which could resettle approximately 1,000 Haitian migrants in Baldwin and Mobile Counties.

Scores of residents gathered at a Fairhope City Council meeting on Monday, Sept. 23 seeking answers to the letter which comes amid nationwide concerns over migrant influxes in recent weeks. Many accused the council of withdrawing vital information, while others shared heartbreaking stories where relatives lost their lives.

Councilman Corey Martin, a signatory to the aforementioned letter, faced the brunt of the criticism. Mayor Sherry Sullivan was forced to defend her colleague for signing “what he thought was a simple petition to support the women and children impacted by the Ukrainian War.”

Mayor Sullivan reassured the crowd that there were no official resettlement plans, despite the “rumors” spread among concerned citizens prior to the meeting. Many, however, remained skeptical, calling for the city to take precautions while several speakers expressed frustration and emphasized the need to protect the town’s safety and stability.

One resident, Rebecca Watson, said she had previously been involved in a crash with an illegal immigrant in Baldwin County. She described Martin as “gaslighting” amid his claims of goodwill in a clip which was shared widely on social media.

She highlighted a part of the letter that stated; “We continually hear from our constituents that they believe in and support refugee resettlement. From greeting refugee families at the airport to assisting with English language classes or navigating bus lines, our communities stand for welcome.”

Watson told Martin; “I don’t remember you asking anybody that’s here how they felt about that, and you signed a letter on behalf of your position representing our city, and that is a huge problem for me. If you’re going to sign a letter like that and you represent our city, then you need to ask the constituents how they feel about it.”

Many agreed with Watson’s remarks on X.

Several users also agreed that Fairhope residents were being gaslighted.

Ex-Democrat Joe Manchin Refuses To Endorse Kamala Harris In Filibuster Row

Independent Sen. Joe Manchin has refused to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris in a filibuster row over Roe vs. Wade.

The West Virgina Sen., who left the Democrats earlier this year, slammed Harris for her desire to “eliminate the filibuster” for the controversial abortion bill. By doing so, the Democrat-controlled Senate would be able to ram legislation through on 51 votes, rather than the usual 60.

“Shame on her,” Manchin said on Tuesday, Sept. 24. “She knows the filibuster is the Holy Grail of democracy. It’s the only thing that keeps us talking and working together. If she gets rid of that, then this would be the House on steroids.

Harris’ promise to remove the filibuster has cost her an independent endorsement. Nevertheless, Harris’ has previously threatened to remove the political tactic on issues such as abortion and the Green New Deal.

“Well, she said she supported banning fracking too, and she changed that. I was hoping she would change this,” Manchin said when quizzed on the Vice President’s efforts to remove the filibuster.

Many on social media wondered whether the former Democrat’s decision would have any major impact.

That said, some commentors had praise for the soon-to-be retiring Sen.

Historically Accurate Poll Sees Republicans Lead Democrats In Party Identification

A poll which has consistently predicted the popular vote within a percentage point of accuracy has Donald Trump to win it by around three points.

While it’s obviously the case in the U.S. that the popular vote doesn’t guarantee the presidency, that’s only really the case for Democrats in today’s political landscape. A Republican winning the popular vote virtually guarantees a Republican winning in the electoral college to.

The Gallup tracker monitors party identification in the run up to each presidential election. For the third quarter of 2024, Republicans account for 48% of all voters; by comparison, the Democrats amass around 45% of the electorate – their lowest figure under Gallup’s poll since 1992.

Previously, the poll’s third quarter findings have often matched the popular vote on election day. The 2008 poll, for example, had the Democrats leading by eight percentage points, with Barack Obama beating John McCain by 7.2 points when the country went to the polls. All elections since have seen Gallup’s tracker match the final result by a margin less than one percentage point.

Many on social media concluded that a three-point victory in the popular vote will guarantee the White House for Trump.

Others were less convinced by the polls.

Kamala Harris Chants “Down With Deportation” In Resurfaced Video

A newly resurfaced video of then-Sen. Kamala Harris in which she chants “down with deportation” has gone viral.

The clip, obtained by the Daily Mail, dates back to 2018 and features Harris alongside husband Doug Emhoff and disgraced hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett. It stems from an annual parade set up to celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. which has since been hijacked by Los Angeles leftists.

In the video, Harris – who announced her presidential campaign the following year – chanted “up, up with education; down, down with deportation” alongside several others wearing a “Times Up!” t-shirt.

Former actor Smollett was also featured in the clip, who would later be found guilty of a hate crime hoax in which he claimed two men in MAGA hats attempted to lynch him. Before being thoroughly debunked, the now-Vice President posted about the “attack” on “one of the kindest, most gentle human beings I know”.

“This was an attempted modern-day lynching,” she wrote in a still publicly available tweet about Smollett. “No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or color of their skin. We must confront this hate.”

Many conservatives mocked Harris shortly after the clip was posted online.

Other commentors noted other standpoints Harris may try to distance herself from now that she has a shot at the White House.

Trump Leads Harris In Ohio Bakery Poll Which Has Correctly Predicted Every Election (Except One) Since 1984

A swing bakery which has accurately predicted almost every election poll since 1984 currently has Donald Trump leading Kamala Harris by 15 percentage points.

Busken Bakery in Cincinnati, Ohio, encourages customers to purchase a cookie featuring a resemblance to their preferred candidate. Purchases can be made online or at one of Busken’s four Ohio stores.

Trump maintains around 54% support from customers with 2,953 cookies sold. Democrat Kamala Harris lags behind on 2,134 cookies (39%), while independent candidates have received support from 397 potential voters.

“Our results, out of our four retail stores, kind of cover the north, south, east and west portions of Cincinnati. So they’re pretty diverse,” said bakery president and CEO Dan Busken to the New York Post.

The unscientific poll does not restrict customers to one purchase, nor are voting rights enforced. Nevertheless, the bakery matches the bellwether state’s consistency to vote for the country’s next president, with Ohio siding with the winning side on all occasions since 1984.

There’s one exception; 2020. Trump won Ohio (and the bakery poll) but lost in the electoral college to Joe Biden. It sure is interesting that the election plagued by claims of fraud was the one time this poll didn’t hold up, isn’t it?

This blip did not go unnoticed on social media.

No matter, conservatives were buoyed by the early results.
