Fetterman Says Left-Wing Riots Will Backfire and Help Trump

Fetterman Says Left-Wing Riots Will Backfire and Help Trump

Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) told Bill Maher that the ongoing attacks on federal agents in Los Angeles and other blue cities will backfire on the Democratic Party and help President Donald Trump.

Fetterman had been receiving backlash after he condemned last week’s unrest in Los Angeles.

The riots resulted in several injuries to ICE agents and L.A. law enforcement officers, who were hit by rocks, Molotov cocktails, and fireworks.

The chaos prompted President Trump to deploy National Guard personnel and U.S. Marines to restore some semblance of order.

“I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigration—but this is not that,” the senator wrote in an X post this past Monday.

“This is anarchy and true chaos,” Fetterman continued.

“My party loses the moral high ground when we refuse to condemn setting cars on fire, destroying buildings, and assaulting law enforcement.”

Maher predicted that the instantly infamous photo of a rioter waving a Mexican flag on a burned car will soon come back to haunt the Democratic Party.

“When they see it in a campaign ad, when they see the guy with the Mexican flag and the Waymo burning behind him, it’s going to be good for Trump,” he said.

Fetterman agreed, adding that Americans do not want to see Los Angeles “on fire twice in just six months now.”

He continued:

“And those optics, I just run that through — like what’s the people in Scranton might see those kinds of images and those kinds of videos?”

Maher later noted that he and the senator have received flak from the left for meeting with President Trump in recent weeks.

Watch:

“They also seem to go after you because you will talk to the other side. You talked to Trump, we all know that’s bad,” Maher, who had dinner with the president, joked.

“We’re one of the few people that will actually have dinner with Trump,” Fetterman followed up.

Maher then asked about Fetterman’s dinner with former White House chief advisor Steve Bannon.

“I hate to use fake news, but I was just hanging out talking with the other side,” Fetterman said of the meeting.

“Now people think I’m going to turn into MAGA, and I’m going to go this other way. My values haven’t changed. Our parties’ values have changed. I’m not going to change my party.”

However, Fetterman said he will not be voting for the Trump-backed “Big Beautiful Bill,” which more than triples funding for border security.

“The big beautiful bill, I’m going to vote that down,” Fetterman said.

“I’m never going to be part of the 40 trillion club.”

“It’s incredibly dangerous. If they pass the BBB, that will change our nation. That will truly impact millions and millions of people,” Fetterman said.

LA Mayor Warns Trump ICE Raids Could Leave “No Gardeners or Nannies” in City

LA Mayor Warns Trump ICE Raids Could Leave 'No Gardeners or Nannies' in City

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has claimed that the city could face labor shortages if illegal immigrants are targeted amid the ongoing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations.

During an interview with Katie Couric, Bass blamed President Donald Trump for sparking anti-ICE protests that have led to days of unrest in the city.

“My biggest fear is the impact that all Angelenos will begin to feel when the labor of immigrants is absent,” Bass said.

“We’ll feel it in the construction industry. We’ll feel it in hospitality. We’ll feel it at grocery stores. People will begin to notice.”

She also said that the situation could significantly affect families that rely on services provided by immigrants.

Watch:

“You think about the mothers who have nannies and housekeepers. They will feel it when there’s nobody to do childcare and there’s nobody to take their kids to school,” she continued.

“You know, you will feel it when your gardener goes away, and you don’t know where he or she is. So Angelenos will feel the absence of immigrant labor.”

Bass said she spoke with one resident who reported that local grocery store shelves were empty due to a lack of workers available.

“[T]o have parents who are not sure they could go to work, or to be fearful of letting their kids go to school, it disrupts families,” Bass said.

“It creates unbelievable pressure and tension. You can imagine the mental health impacts on the children, especially the children that are old enough to remember the last Trump administration or were old enough to remember COVID,” she added.

Bass also maintains that immigration raids launched in Los Angeles contributed directly to the current wave of anti-ICE protests.

However, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) indicated it will not alter course.

“Secretary Noem has a message to the LA rioters: you will not stop us or slow us down. ICE will continue to enforce the law and arrest criminal illegal aliens,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said Wednesday in a statement.

ICE operations continue to ramp up amid unrest in several major cities, with a focus on identifying and arresting illegal immigrants with criminal records.

DHS was clear that its enforcement priorities remain unchanged.

CNN Melts Down After Trump Calls LA Rioters “Insurrectionists”

CNN Melts Down After Trump Calls LA Rioters “Insurrectionists”

President Donald Trump triggered CNN after describing the Los Angeles anti-ICE rioters as “insurrectionists” while talking to the press.

When Trump was asked whether he believes those causing the trouble are people ICE is trying to deport or if they are professional agitators, he said, “The people that are causing the problem are professional agitators.”

“They’re insurrectionists. They’re bad people. They should be in jail.”

CNN’s Dana Bash quickly responded to Trump’s comments.

“That word he used, they’re insurrectionists. I can’t imagine that that was an accident because it seems as though that is the place White House is trying to get, and for the president it’s icing on the cake he can do it in California because on a whole host of issues he has had California, Gavin Newsom in particular in his sights,” she said.

Watch:

Panelist Stephen Collinson responded:

“This is a very serious word that is being thrown around now, ‘insurrection’. That’s a rebellion of States or people in the states against federal government.”

Collinson continued:

“That is not something to be trifled with. If for example, to your point, the President were to invoke the Insurrection Act, I think we would have yet another legal morass.”

“It will be another instance of the way that the White House is trying to declare emergencies or insurrections in order to unlock vast powers which most presidents don’t have access to.”

In other words, they are claiming Trump wants the insurrection.

During the same media interaction, Trump said that he would arrest California Governor Gavin Newsom.

“I would do it if I were Tom (Homan). I think it’s great,” Trump said.

“Gavin likes the publicity, but I think it would be a great thing.”

“He’s done a terrible job. Look, I like Gavin Newsom.”

“He’s a nice guy, but he’s grossly incompetent. Everybody knows.”

“All you have to do is look at the little railroad he’s building. It’s about 100 times over budget,” Trump further urged.

Democrat Civil War Erupts: DNC Chair Threatens to Resign Over David Hogg’s $20M Primary Push

Democrat Civil War Erupts: DNC Chair Threatens to Resign Over David Hogg's $20M Primary Push

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Ken Martin said he is considering stepping down amid growing frustration over Vice Chairman David Hogg’s efforts to target sitting Democratic lawmakers with primary challenges.

The clash is part of increasing internal divisions within the Democratic Party following President Donald Trump’s election victory.

Martin’s concerns were aired during a Zoom meeting in which he voiced opposition to Hogg’s political tactics.

Martin’s remarks revealed the deep divisions behind the scenes at the DNC.

“I’ll be very honest with you, for the first time in my 100 days on this job … the other night I said to myself for the first time, I don’t know if I wanna do this anymore,” Martin said in a two-minute recording provided to Politico.

He also added that his ability to lead had been undermined.

The DNC is scheduled to vote on whether to re-run elections for certain leadership roles currently held by Hogg and fellow party officer Malcolm Kenyatta, RVM News reported.

Those issues have limited opportunities for women candidates, according to Politico.

Martin, who was elected as DNC chair in February and previously chaired Minnesota’s Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, has faced growing internal pressure amid ideological disputes between moderate and far-left factions in the party.

“I’m trying to get my sea legs underneath of me and actually develop any amount of credibility so I can go out there and raise the money and do the job I need to to put ourselves in a position to win,” Martin said to Hogg during the May 15 meeting.

“And again, I don’t think you intended this, but you essentially destroyed any chance I have to show the leadership that I need to. So it’s really frustrating.”

Watch:

The latest infighting stems from Hogg’s announced plans to spend $20 million on primary challenges against incumbent Democrats he considers insufficiently committed to progressive causes.

Hogg, who rose to national attention as a gun control activist following the 2018 shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, prompted backlash from Democratic leaders who feared it would deepen internal divisions and threaten vulnerable seats.

Hogg later pledged $100,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) to ease tensions.

Martin delivered an ultimatum to Hogg in May regarding the primary effort.

“Party officers have one job: to be fair stewards of a process that invites every Democrat to the table — regardless of personal views or allegiances,” Martin reportedly told Hogg.

The internal conflict inside the Democratic Party continues.

Tucker Carlson Interview: CIA Insider Confirms Deep State Operates Above the President

Tucker Carlson Interview: CIA Insider Confirms Deep State Operates Above the President

Former CIA officer turned whistleblower John Kiriakou has confirmed that the Central Intelligence Agency operates independently and often undermines U.S. Presidents.

During an appearance on The Tucker Carlson Show, Kiriakou explained how career CIA officials can effectively shape or resist presidential directives.

Kiriakou’s remarks came after he told Tucker about his experience inside the agency.

He also discussed his decision to go public in 2007 with details about the CIA’s interrogation program.

Carlson asked:

“It doesn’t sound like—so if you look at the org chart—the president controls the CIA.”

“But you’re describing a situation where the CIA kind of controls the president.”

Kiriakou responded:

“This is another problem.”

“It’s that presidents come and go every four years, every eight years.”

“But these CIA people, they’re there for 25, 30, 35 years.”

“They don’t go anywhere.”

“So if they don’t like a president or if a president orders them to do something that they don’t want to do, they just wait because they know they can wait him out, and then he’s not going to be president anymore.”

“They can continue on with whatever plan the blob or the deep state wants to implement.”

President Donald Trump signed an executive order to curtail the weaponization of federal agencies.

The order stated that federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies had abused their powers and needed reform.

Kiriakou noted Trump’s frequent use of the term “deep state.”

He added:

“Donald Trump took a lot of guff in his first term when he used on a regular basis the term ‘deep state.’”

“I argued from the very beginning, it is a deep state.”

“Maybe you don’t like the terminology.”

“You don’t have to call it the deep state.”

“You can call it the federal bureaucracy.”

“You can call it the state.”

“But the truth is that it exists.”

Carlson agreed:

“I would say by definition, you just described it, the president.”

“By the way, the elected representatives who are the instrument of the population through which they control their government are perennial.”

“They come and go.”

“The people who carry out those orders remain.”

“So, over time, they are the ones with the power.”

Kiriakou also weighed in on changes underway at the CIA.

He discussed the overhaul of internal agency structures.

Watch:

This came after CIA Director John Ratcliffe announced plans to reduce politicization within the agency.

Ratcliffe also pledged to eliminate structural inefficiencies.

In his remarks, Ratcliffe called the CIA’s operating environment:

“The most challenging national security environment in our nation’s history.”

Kiriakou revisited a controversy involving former House Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Jane Harman.

He recalled how Harman denied knowledge of the CIA’s enhanced interrogation program.

Kiriakou strongly disputed her claim.

He said:

“Reporters went to her and said, ‘Hey, what about this torture program?’ She said, ‘I didn’t know anything about the torture program,’”

“She was lying.”

“I said, and I remember saying it to the New York Times.”

“I said, ‘She was in the room when it was briefed.’”

“When she was challenged, she said, ‘Oh, yeah, I remember that day.”

“But you know what? I got up, and I left early, and I left one of my aides as a notetaker, and he never briefed me,’ which is also a lie,” he added.

Kiriakou served at the CIA from 1990 to 2004.

He became publicly known in 2007 after revealing the agency’s use of waterboarding on detainees.

In 2012, he was charged under the Intelligence Identities Protection Act.

He was sentenced to 30 months in prison for disclosing the identity of a covert office.

Jasmine Crockett Vows Trump Impeachment Inquiry if Named Oversight Chair

Jasmine Crockett Vows Trump Impeachment Inquiry if Named Oversight Chair

Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has vowed to pursue an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump if she becomes chair of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

This month, Democrats will elect their new ranking member following the recent death of Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA), who died of esophageal cancer.

Crockett entered the race to replace Connolly as the party’s top representative on the committee on Tuesday.

In a letter to Democrats obtained by Politico, Crockett said:

“Our country is in an existential crisis driven by an out-of-control Executive with a flagrant disregard for our Constitution, our way of governance, and our very way of life as citizens of a democratic republic.

We must pull back the curtain on the unmitigated chaos under Trump 2.0 and translate our findings to the American people in a way they can digest.”

Crockett emphasized during an interview with WFAA that she would wield her power as Oversight chair if the Democrats win back the majority in the House:

“Once we get to the majority, which I’m hoping and praying we get to, next cycle, that allows me to start to open up and do the things that would look like an impeachment,” the lawmaker said.

“Now, whether or not we would put it to a vote, you know, he’s been impeached twice, couldn’t get convicted.

There’s a lot of things to consider about whether or not to go forward.”

On going after Trump, Crockett said:

“I would absolutely at least do an inquiry.

Absolutely. I think that there’s more than enough to inquire about.”

Citing the Qatari government’s gifting of a luxury Boeing 747 jet to Trump, Crockett alleged “crypto nonsense” and “pardons for play,” adding there are numerous issues she wants to “dig into.”

The congresswoman becomes the fourth Democrat to enter the race to become the committee’s next ranking member, following Reps. Stephen Lynch (D-MA), Robert Garcia (D-CA), and Kweisi Mfume (D-MD).

Crockett added:

“If we didn’t have such a lawless administration, then I wouldn’t be running.”

MSNBC Under Fire for Referring to Egyptian Firebomber a “White Male”

MSNBC Under Fire for Referring to Egyptian Firebomber a ‘White Male’

An Egyptian national accused of carrying out a vicious attack on a Jewish gathering in Boulder, Colorado, has been called a ‘white male’ by MSNBC.

45-year-old Mohamad Soliman was taken into custody following reports of multiple individuals being injured by Molotov cocktails and other incendiary devices.

Soliman was confirmed to be in the United States illegally after overstaying a visa granted in 2022.

Several people, including children, were hospitalized following the violent attack.

The FBI confirmed that the attack is being investigated as a case of ideologically motivated violence.

According to federal records, Soliman entered the United States in 2022 during the Biden-Harris administration.

While he arrived on a tourist visa, Soliman failed to leave the country when his authorized stay expired. He even obtained a work permit in March 2023 through a federal process.

Soliman allegedly launched the attack on the group “Run for Their Lives,” which hosts public demonstrations in support of Israeli hostages held by Hamas.

Soliman was transported to a nearby medical facility for minor injuries before being booked into the Boulder County Jail.

He now remains in custody as both local and federal officials review possible charges, including attempted murder and use of explosive devices.

Just a week before the incident, a young couple was killed outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., in a separate suspected ideologically motivated attack.

Meanwhile, media outlets like MSNBC reported that the suspect was a “white male” despite police identifying Soliman as a Muslim man from Egypt.

Watch:

The reporting has prompted questions about the standards used for suspect descriptions in breaking news coverage.

While Soliman has not yet been formally charged in federal court, law enforcement officials confirmed that a joint federal and state investigation is underway.

Bill Clinton Denies Biden’s Cognitive Decline: “I Thought He Was in Good Shape”

Bill Clinton Denies Biden's Cognitive Decline: ‘I Thought He Was in Good Shape’

Former President Bill Clinton dismissed claims of President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline during an interview on “CBS Sunday Morning.”

Reporter Tracy Smith asked Clinton, “Speaking of aging, there is this book that came out talking about Joe Biden and the people around him seeing that he had cognitive and physical decline.

Did you ever have a moment with him where you thought maybe he was unfit to run for president?”

Clinton said, “No.”

Smith repeated, “No.”

Clinton continued:

“I thought he was a good president.

The only concern I thought he had to deal with was, could anybody do that job until they were 86? We’d had several long talks.

I never have seen him and walked away thinking, he can’t do this anymore. He was always on top of his briefs.”

Smith asked again, “You never saw any cognitive decline?”

Clinton said:

“No. I didn’t know anything about any of this.

I haven’t read the book.

I saw President Biden not very long ago, and I thought he was in good shape.”

Smith asked, “Why didn’t you read the book?”

Clinton replied:

“I didn’t want to because he’s not president anymore, and I think he did a good job.

And I think we are facing challenges today with our president in our history.

Some people are trying to use this as a way to blame him for the fact that Trump was reelected.”

Watch:

Despite Clinton’s statements, some Democrats have openly acknowledged Biden’s decline.

Last month, former Obama aide and “Pod Save America” co-host Jon Lovett admitted that despite his concern over Joe Biden‘s obvious mental decline, he kept silent because he “wanted him to f**king win.”

Lovett told Jon Stewart and Jon Favreau that he held his tongue over Biden’s decline, even though it was blatantly obvious.

“I remember feeling I want to talk about this as a huge liability. To talk about this is something Joe Biden can overcome, but I’m not going to go so far as to say, ‘I think Joe Biden must drop out. He is too old to be president,’” Lovett said.

A, because I didn’t know exactly what was going on behind the scenes, but B, if Joe Biden is the candidate, I want him to fu**ng win.”

Anti-Trump DIA Employee Arrested for Leaking Top Secret Intel to Foreign Government

An IT specialist employed by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has been arrested for attempting to transmit classified national security information to a foreign government.

Nathan Vilas Laatsch, 28, was arrested close to the nation’s capital and is scheduled to make his initial court appearance this week.

Laatsch became a civilian employee of the DIA in 2019 and held Top Secret security clearance in the Insider Threat Division.

In March, the FBI launched an investigation after receiving a tip that an individual offered classified information to a “friendly” foreign government.

The federal employee indicated in an email that he did not “agree or align with the values of this administration” and was therefore “willing to share classified information” to which he had access, including “completed intelligence products, some unprocessed intelligence, and other assorted classified documentation.”

Following communications with an undercover FBI agent, the anti-Trump employee began transcribing classified information to a notepad at his desk.

He then repeatedly leaked classified information from his workspace.

“Laatsch subsequently confirmed to the FBI agent that he was prepared to transmit the information,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia announced in a press release.

The FBI then organized an operation in a public park where Laatsch planned to deposit the classified information for the foreign government to retrieve.

“On May 1, FBI surveillance observed Laatsch proceed to the specified location and deposit an item. Following Laatsch’s departure, the FBI retrieved the item, which was a thumb drive later found to contain a message from Laatsch and multiple typed documents, each containing information that was portion-marked up to the Secret or Top Secret levels,” prosecutors said in the press release.

“The message from Laatsch indicated that he had chosen to include ‘a decent sample size’ of classified information to ‘decently demonstrate the range of types of products’ to which he had access.”

After receiving confirmation that the package had been received, he again contacted the undercover FBI agent and asked for compensation.

The following day, Laatsch indicated that he was interested in obtaining citizenship in the unnamed country because he did not “expect[] things here to improve in the long term.”

Although he said he was “not opposed to other compensation,” he was not in a position where he needed to seek material compensation.

Additional meetings were set up by agents after Laatsch agreed to share more classified information.

On May 29, Laatsch arrived at a prearranged location in northern Virginia, where he attempted to transmit multiple classified documents to the foreign country.

FBI agents arrested Laatsch, and formal charges are forthcoming.

FBI Director Kash Patel Unleashes on Comey: “Agents Pulled Off Child Predator Cases Over His 8647 Post”

FBI Director Kash Patel Unleashes on Comey: “Agents Pulled Off Child Predator Cases Over His 8647 Post"

FBI Director Kash Patel took a blowtorch to James Comey for his Trump assassination Instagram post during a sit-down interview with Fox News host Bret Baier.

Patel warned that copycats are popping up across the country because of James Comey’s “8647” post.

As reported last week, Comey claimed he somehow just stumbled upon a curious formation of shells as he was walking down the beach with his wife.

“We were walking on the beach, we went to the beach to prepare for this week… and we were walking back towards the road and we saw in the sand someone had arranged shells with numbers.

And Patrice, my wife, said, ‘why would someone put an address in the sand?’ and I said, ‘I don’t know’ and we stood over and I said, ‘I think it’s some kind of political message.’”

As the backlash grew stronger, Comey then blamed his wife.

“She said you know, when I was a server – she did a lot of work in restaurants – meant to remove an item from the menu when you ran out of ingredients.

And I said, ‘well to me, as a kid it always meant to leave a place, to ditch a place.’

And she said well that very clever you should take a picture of that and I did and posted it on my Instagram and though nothing more of it until I heard through her that people were saying that it was a call for some sort of assassination which is crazy!”

Secret Service agents interviewed Comey, but nothing came of it.

“Do you know how many agents I have had to take off line chasing down child predators, fentanyl traffickers, and terrorists because across this country people are popping up on social media and think that a threat to the life of the president of the United States is a joke?!” Kash Patel said.

“And they can do it because he did it? That’s what I’m having to deal with every single day,” Patel said.

“And that’s what I’m having to pull my agents and analysts off because he thought it was funny to go out there and make a political statement.”
