Immigration Judge Rejects Asylum Request From MS-13 Gang Member Kilmar Abrego Garcia

An immigration judge on Wednesday denied an asylum request from Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an MS-13 gang member and illegal alien whose case has drawn national attention after years of deportations, indictments, and legal challenges, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Abrego Garcia, who had been living illegally in Maryland, was deported earlier this year to El Salvador and placed in the country’s CECOT prison.

Despite his criminal background, left-leaning judges later ordered him returned to the United States after federal prosecutors in Tennessee indicted him on child sex-trafficking charges.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia, left, meets with Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., in March in El Salvador. The senator flew there to try to secure Abrego Garcia’s release after he was mistakenly deported to a prison for terrorists. The president of El Salvador will not free him.

Following the indictment, the Trump administration informed Abrego Garcia that he might be deported to a third country, including Uganda or Eswatini, depending on international agreements.

In response, Abrego Garcia filed an emergency motion to reopen his asylum case, claiming he feared persecution and torture if deported.

“I fear persecution in Uganda on account of my race, nationality, political opinion, and membership in a particular social group. I also fear torture by or at the acquiescence of a public official in that country,” Abrego Garcia said in August, according to court filings.

On Wednesday, Regional Deputy Chief Immigration Judge Philip Taylor rejected the motion. He noted that Abrego Garcia’s asylum application was filed nearly six years after his immigration proceedings ended, far beyond the 90-day filing window required by law.

Judge Taylor also ruled that Abrego Garcia’s claims of imminent deportation to Uganda or Eswatini were speculative.

“The word ‘may’ is permissive and indicates to the Court that in sending this notification to Respondent’s counsel, the Department sought to convey that it reserved the right to remove him to Uganda, not necessarily that it intended to do so, that it had decided to do so, or that it would do so imminently,” Taylor wrote, according to ABC News.

Attorneys for Abrego Garcia argued that because he was deported to El Salvador and later returned to the United States under federal custody, he should be eligible to apply for asylum within one year of his most recent entry.

The court disagreed, stating that the motion was both untimely and unsupported by evidence.

The Department of Homeland Security has not indicated whether Abrego Garcia will be removed to El Salvador, Uganda, Eswatini, or another third country. For now, he remains in federal custody facing child sex-trafficking charges in Tennessee.

The case underscores the administration’s broader crackdown on transnational gangs and its ongoing use of third-country removals to deal with violent criminal aliens.

Bondi: Memphis Task Force Nets 93 arrests, 28 Illegal Guns Seized in Initial Sweep

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday that 93 people have been arrested in the opening days of the Memphis Safe Task Force operation, a new federal initiative aimed at reducing violent crime in the city, as reported by The Center Square.

The task force, which includes support from 13 federal agencies such as the FBI and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, has also seized 28 illegal firearms since operations began.

“Yesterday 40 arrests were made including a Tren de Aragua terrorist, a felon in possession of a firearm, a man wanted for rape of a child, and an arrest for assault on a federal officer,” Bondi said in a post on social media.

“To date, there have been 93 arrests and 28 illegal guns seized. Our work is saving lives.”

Bondi and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth traveled to Memphis on Wednesday to highlight the effort, which comes during the ongoing federal government shutdown.

“Even though the Democrats shut down the government and stopped their pay – the Tennessee National Guard will never quit,” Hegseth said in a social media statement, praising the work of Guard members supporting the operation.

The task force has faced criticism from some state leaders. Tennessee state Sen. Jeff Yarbro (D-Nashville) questioned whether the National Guard should be deployed in Memphis, citing past legal opinions.

“In short, only circumstances amounting to a rebellion or invasion permit the governor to call out the militia, and even then, the Legislature must declare, by law, that the public safety requires it,” Yarbro said, referring to opinions issued in 2021 and 2024.

Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti dismissed those objections, noting that such opinions are not legally binding. He also pushed back against suggestions that his office withdrew them for political purposes.

“If the folks at the press conference are insinuating my office withdrew these opinions six months before the election to pave the way for Trump policies a year and a half later, they have bigger problems than this legal question,” Skrmetti said in an email to The Center Square.

“If I could see the future like that, I’d be neck deep in Bitcoin and Pokémon cards.”

The Memphis Safe Task Force continues its operations in coordination with local law enforcement and federal agencies. Officials have said the initiative is designed to address violent crime, gang activity, and the flow of illegal weapons in the city.

Kamala Harris Sought Clinton Guidance Before Naming Tim Walz Running Mate

Former Vice President Kamala Harris disclosed in her new memoir that she sought guidance from Bill and Hillary Clinton on choosing a running mate during her short-lived 2024 presidential campaign, as reported by Fox News.

Harris’ book, 107 Days, released on September 23, recounts her experiences leading up to the 2024 election after President Joe Biden withdrew from the race. With just over three months until Election Day, Harris wrote that she turned to the Clintons for advice on the critical choice.

“Very few people have ever made this decision. I called Hillary and Bill Clinton, because they knew what it was like and would give me candid and confidential advice,” Harris wrote.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton speaks in support of the Democratic Harris/Walz presdiential campaign during a noon rally at Lavery Brewing Co. in Erie on Nov. 2, 2024.

According to her account, the Clintons warned her against what they described as a “political marriage of convenience.” Harris said they encouraged her to pick a running mate whose presence would complement her style.

“One of your strengths, they said, is that you bring a joyful energy to the campaign. You have to choose someone who won’t work against that,” she recalled.

Bill Clinton, reflecting on his partnership with former Vice President Al Gore, advised her to find someone with strengths that balanced her own. “‘You have to level with them and watch how they answer,’” Harris quoted him as saying, describing his approach to vetting candidates.

Harris wrote that both Clintons emphasized that the vice-presidential candidate should understand the weight of the opportunity.

“If they were someone dying for immediate public recognition, it might not be the job for them. They might have to swallow a lot of crap,” she noted from their conversation.

Harris ultimately selected Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, describing him as her “happy warrior” on the campaign trail. “I needed to know that my running mate was a person who valued the dignity of everyone and would take a moment to show it,” she wrote.

The decision to choose Walz over other potential running mates, including Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, was later criticized as a campaign misstep.

Walz faced controversy over allegations of “stolen valor,” his handling of pandemic restrictions in Minnesota, and a debate performance against then-Sen. JD Vance that analysts described as faltering.

Harris’ memoir mentions the Clintons more than a dozen times, highlighting what she called her close relationship with the couple. On September 24, during a book tour stop at The Town Hall in New York City, Harris praised Hillary Clinton for mentoring her.

“Hillary Clinton is one of those people that believes in lifting people up and supporting people,” Harris said.

Harris also described reaching out to the Clintons on the day Biden ended his campaign in July 2024. She said the couple offered to campaign for her, with Hillary Clinton even suggesting she would travel by Amtrak to join the trail.

The book also includes Harris’ critiques of Biden’s failed campaign, including his debate against Donald Trump, which she described as damaging to his reelection bid.

Ex-Girlfriend of NYC Mayor Eric Adams to Release Tell-All Book on Secret Romance

A former girlfriend of New York City Mayor Eric Adams is set to publish a memoir revealing details of their past relationship, just days after resigning from a $160,000-a-year position within his administration, as reported by the New York Post.

Jasmine Ray, 42, who was appointed by Adams as the city’s first director of the Mayor’s Office of Sports, Wellness and Recreation, is releasing a book titled Political Humanity on Sunday.

The memoir describes her relationship with Adams, which she says began in 2014, years before he became mayor.

According to Ray, she met Adams at a Brooklyn Nets game in 2014, and they began dating the following year while Adams was serving as Brooklyn Borough President.

She claims the relationship ended abruptly in 2016, leaving her devastated, though the two attempted to rekindle it in 2021 after Adams won the Democratic primary.

“Their hidden relationship — marked by intimacy, sacrifice, and betrayal — mirrors the larger struggles of politics itself: the tension between personal humanity and public expectation,” the book’s description reads.

Ray told The New York Times that Adams contacted her after his 2021 primary victory, saying, “I’m going to be mayor of New York City, and I don’t want to do this without you.”

She recalled meeting him soon afterward on a Staten Island boardwalk, where Adams reportedly spoke at length about former Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s influence on him. “He was like, Bloomberg, Bloomberg, Bloomberg,” she said. “And I was like, yes, Bloomberg is amazing.”

When Adams took office in 2022, he appointed Ray to the newly created post of sports czar. She resigned from that role last Friday, the same day Adams announced he was ending his re-election campaign.

The memoir also contains personal anecdotes, including Ray’s description of comforting Adams by rubbing a scar on the back of his head. “He could sit still for hours if I kept my hand there, as if my touch eased something no one else could reach,” she wrote.

Ray claims Adams spent years urging her not to publish the book, fearing it would damage his political career. Adams has not publicly acknowledged their past relationship. He has been in a long-term relationship with Tracey Collins, a Department of Education administrator.

Adams’ office did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Fort Worth Councilwoman Confronted Over Her Post Mocking Charlie Kirk

Fort Worth City Councilwoman Elizabeth Beck is facing backlash after posting an Instagram story that appeared to mock the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

The post, which was made shortly after Kirk’s death on September 10, referenced his support for the Second Amendment, sparking outrage among conservatives in Texas and across the country.

BlazeTV host Alex Stein responded by sending his girlfriend, Paige — known online as “Pre-Paid Wireless” — to a city council meeting to call out Beck directly. Paige joined other Texans in voicing their anger over Beck’s remarks.

“Hi, my name is Paige,” she said while addressing the council.

“Honestly, it feels like there’s no point in trying to reason with people who are so soulless and so far gone that they openly mock the tragic assassination of someone that they don’t agree with.”

She added that public officials who engage in such behavior should be held accountable.

“The two city council members who did just that need to be publicly shamed and know that this type of behavior will not be accepted in this country. But you know, one of the best parts of social media is that it shows you who people really are,” Paige continued.

Paige accused Beck of using Kirk’s death to make a political point.

“Councilwoman Beck quickly took to her Instagram after it was announced Charlie Kirk had been shot and posted ‘unfortunate’ with an out-of-context quote from Charlie Kirk about the Second Amendment on her story,” she said.

According to Paige, Beck’s post implied that individuals who support the right to bear arms deserve violence if they become victims.

“She made it clear that if you support the Second Amendment and are tragically killed by a mentally ill man with a transgender boyfriend, that you deserved what happened to you,” Paige told the council.

In addition to calling out Beck for her social media comments, Paige also raised past allegations about Beck’s conduct.

She said the councilwoman previously insulted a volleyball coach as “a white, skinny, dumb b*tch” after her daughter was not allowed to join the team due to missing tryouts.

“Are you starting to see how these people operate?” Paige asked during her remarks.

“They will call you names such as racist, bigot, white supremacist even if you don’t give them their way.”

The controversy surrounding Beck’s Instagram post comes as Texas officials and conservative activists continue to memorialize Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated earlier this month while speaking at Utah Valley University.

Tributes and vigils have taken place nationwide, and his supporters have sharply criticized those who have used his death to score political points.

Beck has not issued a public statement in response to Paige’s comments at the council meeting.

It remains unclear whether the council will take any formal action related to the controversy.

The exchange highlights the sharp divisions in Fort Worth politics, where local officials have faced criticism for their public remarks and conduct.

For now, Beck’s Instagram post and Paige’s public rebuke have added a new layer to the ongoing debates surrounding free speech, political discourse, and the legacy of Charlie Kirk.

AOC Gets Fact-Checked into Oblivion After ‘Ignorant, Uneducated’ Charlie Kirk Comments

The House of Representatives on Friday passed a resolution honoring Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated earlier this month, but not without opposition from several Democrats, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).

The resolution described Kirk as a “courageous American patriot” and a “devoted Christian.”

It passed despite resistance from within the Democratic caucus, with 58 Democrats voting against it, 38 voting present, and 22 not voting, according to Breitbart News.

Before casting her vote, Ocasio-Cortez delivered remarks rejecting the measure.

While she condemned the “horrific and vile attack” that killed Kirk, she argued that the resolution was “reckless” and accused Republicans of exploiting the tragedy.

“Instead of uniting Congress in this tragedy with one of the many bipartisan options to condemn political violence and Kirk’s murder, as we did with the late Melissa Hortman, the majority proceeded with a resolution that brings great pain to the millions of Americans who endured segregation, Jim Crow, and the legacy of bigotry today,” she said.

Earlier this year, the House voted 424-0 to pass a resolution condemning the assassinations of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman (D) and her husband, and the attempted assassinations of State Sen. John Hoffman (D) and his wife.

The suspect in those attacks, Vance Boelter, was a political appointee of Gov. Tim Walz (D) and left anti-Trump “No Kings” fliers behind at the scene before being captured.

In her Friday remarks, Ocasio-Cortez characterized Kirk’s views as harmful, citing selected comments about the Civil Rights Act, the 2022 attack on Paul Pelosi, and Jewish donors.

“We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was,” she said.

“His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated, and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans – far from the ‘working tirelessly to promote unity’ asserted by the majority in this resolution.”

Kirk, during Turning Point USA’s America Fest in December 2023, had criticized the Civil Rights Act of 1964, calling it a “huge mistake.”

A Wired reporter covering the event noted that Kirk was specifically criticizing the creation of permanent bureaucracies he said undermined the First Amendment, not voting rights.

“The courts have been really weak on this. Federal courts just yield to the Civil Rights Act as if it’s the actual American Constitution,” Kirk said at the time.

Ocasio-Cortez’s claim that Kirk endorsed the attack on Paul Pelosi was also disputed by his full remarks.

Speaking on his show in 2022, Kirk said, “Why is the Republican Party, why is the conservative movement to blame for gay, schizophrenic nudists that are hemp jewelry-makers breaking into somebody’s home, or maybe not breaking into somebody’s home? Why are we to blame for that exactly?”

He went on to describe the attack as “awful” and “not right,” after suggesting someone might bail out the suspect to ask questions.

The claim that Kirk accused Jews of controlling education and media originated from a Media Matters report in 2023.

In fact, Kirk criticized “secular Jewish donors” for funding policies he said contributed to antisemitism following the Hamas attack on Israel.

“Jewish donors have a lot of explaining to do,” Kirk said at the time.

“This is a beast created by secular Jews. And now it’s coming for Jews.”

In addition to her criticism of Kirk, Ocasio-Cortez alleged that Republicans and the Trump administration were attempting to “weaponize” his death to restrict speech.

“All in the name of Charlie Kirk, President Trump and the FCC are now cynically threatening to shut down ABC and any outlets who give airtime to the administration’s political critics,” she said, referencing FCC Chair Brendan Carr’s comments about Jimmy Kimmel’s remarks following Kirk’s death.

Carr had stated that Kimmel’s claim linking Kirk’s assassination to conservatives could be viewed as an intentional effort to mislead the public.

Shortly after those remarks, ABC, Disney, and Nexstar announced that Kimmel’s show would be pulled indefinitely.

Kirk’s suspected killer, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, admitted in a message to his partner that he shot Kirk because he had “enough of his hatred.”

Prosecutors charged Robinson with murder earlier this week.

Ocasio-Cortez concluded her remarks by expressing condolences to Kirk’s family.

“We continue to pray for Mr. Kirk’s family and loved ones in the wake of this terrible act. I am thinking especially of his children and his wife, whose grief cannot be measured,” she said.

JB Pritzker Busted: He Claims He Never Compared Trump to Hitler, Internet Brings Receipts

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker denied this week that he had ever compared Republicans or President Donald Trump to Nazis, despite several recorded remarks and public statements in which he invoked Nazi Germany when discussing Trump, Elon Musk, and the Republican Party.

Speaking at a press conference Monday, Pritzker rejected accusations that he had labeled Republicans as Nazis.

“No, I have not. That is completely false. I have never called Republicans Nazis. That’s what [Republicans] would like to say, they’re lying. They’re lying,” he said. “Well, that’s not what I called them.”

However, recordings and public appearances show Pritzker has repeatedly drawn parallels between Trump and Nazi Germany.

On February 28, 2025, during an appearance on The View, Pritzker claimed that Trump was “tearing down constitutional democracy” in the same way Adolf Hitler did.

He further argued that the Trump administration’s approach to governance mirrored the dismantling of democratic institutions during the Nazi era.

In a post on X dated October 23, 2024, ahead of the presidential election, Pritzker wrote that Trump “praises and romanticizes” Hitler and described him as a “dictator-in-waiting.”

He added, “The way Donald Trump praises and romanticizes Hitler is unhinged, disturbing, and disqualifying. He is a dictator-in-waiting. We know exactly what he’ll do if he’s in power again. It cannot happen.”

On April 28, 2024, during an interview on Inside with Jen Psaki, Pritzker compared Trump’s immigration enforcement policies to Nazi-era restrictions on civil rights in the 1930s.

He said, “The rhetoric that’s being used by Donald Trump, the rhetoric that is being used by some of the MAGA extremists is rhetoric that was used in the 1930s in Germany. I am very concerned about the direction of the country if we see policies like what Donald Trump is espousing come to light for our country.”

He repeated the comparison in December 2023 on MSNBC, again linking Trump and supporters of the “MAGA movement” to the rise of Hitler’s regime.

Pritzker has also invoked Nazi imagery in exchanges with Musk.

Following Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2025, Pritzker claimed Musk gave a Nazi-style salute to the crowd.

When Musk mocked Pritzker’s weight on X days later, Pritzker responded on January 29: “I salute @TheWienerCircle, not Nazis.”

The governor’s denial comes amid heightened scrutiny of political rhetoric following the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk on September 10.

Authorities identified the suspected gunman, Tyler Robinson, as an individual who had adopted left-wing views and “became more pro-gay and trans-rights oriented,” according to law enforcement statements released Tuesday.

During Monday’s press conference, Pritzker called on Trump to condemn political violence in the wake of Kirk’s assassination.

He also cited the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot as part of a broader surge in political violence that he attributed to Trump.

The resurfacing of Pritzker’s past comments stands in contrast to his current denials and has renewed debate over the impact of incendiary rhetoric by public officials, especially at a moment when political violence remains under national scrutiny.

JD Vance Exposes Soros Cash Behind Leftist Outlet Attacking Charlie Kirk

Vice President JD Vance accused The Nation of being funded by George Soros’s Open Society Foundation after the magazine published a controversial article comparing slain Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk to Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.

The dispute escalated Monday after The Nation’s president denied the claim, despite evidence of substantial past funding from Soros-affiliated groups.

The controversy began when The Nation ran a column by former Gawker editor Elizabeth Spiers titled “Charlie Kirk’s Legacy Deserves No Mourning.”

In the opening of the 1,000-word essay, Spiers labeled Kirk “an unrepentant racist, transphobe, homophobe, and misogynist.”

The piece drew outrage for attempting to tie Kirk, who was assassinated on September 10 at Utah Valley University, to Nazi ideology.

While guest hosting The Charlie Kirk Show, Vance pointed directly at the magazine’s financial backers.

“The Nation isn’t a fringe blog,” Vance said.

“It’s a well-funded, well-respected magazine whose publishing history goes back to the American Civil War. George Soros’s Open Society Foundation funds this magazine.”

The Nation’s president, Bhaskar Sunkara, disputed Vance’s statement in a post to X.

“I’m not sure where he’s getting his information, but JD Vance is lying about The Nation magazine,” Sunkara wrote.

“We’d welcome donations from anyone who respects our editorial independence, but we’re not funded, not one dime, by Soros or Open Society Foundation.”

However, records show Soros-affiliated groups have funneled millions into The Nation’s nonprofit arm.

According to Media Research Center’s NewsBusters, between 2004 and 2019, Soros organizations contributed at least $1,349,000 to The Nation Institute, the nonprofit affiliated with the magazine.

In January 2019, The Nation Institute was rebranded as the Type Media Center, which continued to maintain ties with the publication.

At the time of the rebrand, Type Media Center’s CEO Taya Kitman explained, “When the Nation Institute was founded more than 50 years ago, we were a modest organization affiliated with the Nation Magazine — but that name no longer reflects the breadth and impact of what we do today.”

Despite the new branding, funding has continued.

A 2022 Soros-backed grant of $150,000 was earmarked to “build a more equitable future in the field of public interest journalism by strengthening publishing and independent media.”

The Heir: Inside the (Not So) Secret Network of Alex Soros

Other left-leaning donors also describe the relationship openly.

The MacArthur Foundation awarded a $325,000 grant in 2023, describing Type Media Center as supporting “journalism and nonfiction writing through book publishing, fellowship programs, and The Nation magazine.”

Sunkara’s denial drew sharp responses from conservatives.

Alex Brusewitz, a senior advisor to President Trump, wrote on X: “Your non-profit took over $1 million from George Soros, then you slandered my friend Charlie Kirk while his body was still warm. You are a horrible person.”

Conservative commentator Ryan Girdusky added, “The Nation’s non-profit arm ‘the Nation Institute,’ which paid its journalists salaries, got $1.3 million from Soros.”

Jack Posobiec also weighed in, calling the arrangement “a standard leftist media tactic to hide the money they take from far-left NGO’s.”

While hosting Kirk’s show, Vance also disputed Spiers’s portrayal of Kirk, pointing to her own cited evidence.

“Made an argument for judging people of all races and backgrounds by their own individual merits,” Vance said of Kirk.

“With the very evidence she provides, this hack of a writer shows that she lied about a dead man, and yet she wrote it, an esteemed magazine published it, it made it through the editors and, of course, liberal billionaires rewarded that attack.”

The Nation later issued a correction acknowledging that the article “attributed a quote to Charlie Kirk incorrectly.”

Spiers, the author of the column, previously worked for Gawker, the outlet that filed for bankruptcy in 2012 after being ordered to pay wrestler Hulk Hogan $140 million in damages for publishing a sex tape without consent.

The clash between Vance and The Nation underscores ongoing disputes over media funding, political narratives, and the handling of commentary surrounding Kirk’s assassination.

Trump Eyes Soros Prosecution, Possible RICO Charges in Wake of Charlie Kirk Assassination

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump appeared on FOX and Friends earlier today to address the nationwide manhunt for the suspect in the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

During the interview, the president confirmed that law enforcement had taken the suspect into custody.

In addition to announcing the arrest, President Trump said his administration is preparing to examine potential Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) charges against billionaire George Soros, citing his role in supporting protests and riots across the country.

“We’re going to look into Soros because I think it’s a RICO case against him and other people because this is more than protests. This is real agitation; this is riots on the street — and we’re going to look into that,” Trump said.

The president’s remarks follow similar statements he made in August, prior to Kirk’s assassination at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

At that time, Trump argued that Soros and his son, Alex Soros, should face charges under RICO for allegedly financing left-wing movements that he said have escalated into violent riots.

Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was killed last week when a gunman fired on him during a campus event.

His death has sparked widespread outrage and renewed calls from conservatives for accountability over violent political extremism.

Trump pointed directly at Soros as a central figure in what he described as coordinated efforts to destabilize communities.

Soros’ Open Society Foundations has long been tied to funding political movements and activist groups worldwide.

Critics argue that his support has extended to organizations involved in violent unrest in the United States.

The Heir: Inside the (Not So) Secret Network of Alex Soros

Over the years, Soros has directed funding to groups behind demonstrations ranging from Black Lives Matter protests to anti-Israel movements.

Trump and his allies have accused Soros of using his influence to promote radical left-wing causes, bankroll “dark money” projects, and undermine conservative governments.

According to the Gateway Pundit, Soros-funded Texas Majority PAC is also under investigation for allegedly funneling money to Texas Democrats who left the state in protest of redistricting legislation earlier this year.

Last month, Trump issued a statement calling for both Soros and his son to be prosecuted under RICO.

“They should be charged with RICO because of their support of violent protests, and much more, all throughout the United States of America,” Trump said at the time.

The president reiterated that stance in his interview today, tying the call for prosecution to the broader need for law and order in the wake of Kirk’s death.

Federal authorities have not yet confirmed details about possible charges related to Soros or his organizations.

However, Trump said the administration is reviewing available evidence and will push forward with legal action if the facts support it.

Charlie Kirk’s assassination has become a rallying point for conservatives, with many citing the attack as part of a broader pattern of violence against political figures on the right.

Trump said his administration will continue to pursue justice for Kirk while also targeting what he described as the networks fueling ongoing unrest across the country.

Don Lemon Hilariously Caught Off Guard as Bronx Immigrant Supports Trump’s Policing Plan

Former CNN anchor Don Lemon was left visibly stunned during a street interview in New York City when a Bronx immigrant backed President Donald Trump’s call for tougher policing, including the deployment of the National Guard, as reported by The Daily Mail.

Lemon, who was filming a man-on-the-street segment for his YouTube channel, approached a woman who said she had lived in the Bronx for eight years after emigrating from the Dominican Republic. He asked her if she felt safe in her neighborhood.

NEW YORK, NY – OCTOBER 28: Don Lemon attends Apple TV+’s “The Morning Show” World Premiere at David Geffen Hall on October 28, 2019 in New York City.

“Yes,” the woman initially responded, before clarifying, “a little bit.”

Lemon pressed further, asking whether she supported the idea of deploying the National Guard to city streets. To his surprise, she replied: “Maybe more.”

When Lemon raised the prospect of armed troops on patrol, the woman didn’t hesitate. “I think it’s good. If we are going to be safe,” she said.

Looking incredulous, Lemon asked again: “Then you’re all for it?”

“Yes, the better is, we are safe, is the important thing,” she said.

Lemon quickly ended the exchange, thanking the woman and turning back to the camera with a sour expression. The clip, which has since gone viral, shows Lemon’s visible discomfort as the conversation veered in a direction he seemingly did not anticipate.

Social media users widely mocked the encounter. “Don Lemon exited that convo fast!” one user wrote.

Another added, “Bro is fuming.” Others joked that the exchange was “not at all what he was expecting.”

Some commenters noted that the woman’s remarks reflected the views of many in immigrant communities.

One post read: “As a Dominican myself, I can attest that Dominicans in the States are largely right-wing, far more than Puerto Ricans.”

Another added, “Keeping our streets safe should always come first. National Guard support can help protect citizens.”

Critics of Lemon also weighed in. One called him a “one-man clown show,” while another wrote, “Amazing Don Lemon is still around.”

The exchange comes as President Trump continues to push forward his law-and-order agenda during his second term. Since January 2025, he has repeatedly pledged to send the National Guard into major U.S. cities plagued by crime and unrest.

WASHINGTON – February 22, 2025: President Donald Trump arrives at the White House South Lawn on Marine One after his visit to CPAC.

Over the summer, National Guard units were deployed in Los Angeles after immigration riots. Troops were also sent to Washington, D.C., as part of Trump’s federal law enforcement takeover of the capital.

On Saturday, thousands of protesters marched in Chicago against Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and the pending deployment of Guard troops.

When asked why his administration was focusing on Chicago rather than other cities with high crime rates, Trump defended his decision.

Responding to NBC White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor, Trump pointed to a post he made on Truth Social that included an AI-generated image of him in front of a burning Chicago.

“I love the smell of deportations in the morning. Chicago about to find out why it’s called the Department of WAR,” he wrote.

The viral Bronx interview, coupled with Trump’s latest moves, underscores the ongoing national debate over policing, immigration, and public safety.
