Maryland Neighborhood Rocked After Six Shot During Chaotic Juneteenth Weekend

Authorities in Maryland are investigating a shooting that left six people injured, including two children, in Anne Arundel County early Saturday morning, as reported by The Post Millennial.

According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, officers responded to reports of an “unknown disturbance” at approximately 4:49 a.m. in a suburban neighborhood outside Baltimore.

When officers arrived at the scene, they encountered a large crowd and discovered an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

As investigators worked to determine what had occurred, police learned that several additional victims had arrived at three different hospitals in the area seeking treatment for gunshot wounds.

Authorities said a total of six people were injured during the incident. The victims included four adults and two juvenile males.

In a statement released on social media, the Anne Arundel County Police Department provided details about the injuries sustained by the victims.

“One female victim with a gunshot wound to an extremity, two juvenile males with lower extremity injuries, and an adult male and female victim with lower extremity injuries were admitted to area hospitals, all with non-life-threatening injuries,” the department said.

Police indicated that all six victims survived and were receiving medical care.

Investigators have not yet determined what events led up to the shooting. Authorities said detectives are continuing to interview victims and gather evidence as they work to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

“Detectives are conducting interviews with the victims to determine what occurred during this event,” the department added.

“This investigation is active, and further details will be released once the investigation concludes.”

No suspects were immediately identified, and police did not announce any arrests as of Saturday.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities seek information about what triggered the violence and whether additional witnesses may be able to assist investigators.

The Maryland shooting occurred during a violent Juneteenth holiday weekend that saw multiple shootings reported in major cities across the country.

On Friday, a separate shooting on Chicago’s South Side left at least 12 people wounded. The incident drew national attention and prompted comments from President Donald Trump regarding crime in Chicago and the response of state leadership.

Following the Chicago shooting, Trump criticized Illinois Governor JB Pritzker for not requesting federal assistance to help address violent crime in the city.

“Why isn’t Governor Pritzker calling me for help?” Trump posted on Truth Social.

“I could make Chicago a safe City in ONE MONTH, in ONE YEAR, it would be one of the safest!!! D.C. went from one of the worst to one of the safest cities in the U.S.”

Law enforcement officials in Maryland have not indicated whether the Anne Arundel County shooting was connected to any other incidents reported during the holiday weekend.

Authorities are continuing to investigate and said additional information will be released as detectives complete interviews and review evidence collected from the scene.

Los Angeles Chokes On Smoke As Newsom And Bass Sleepwalk Through Another Crisis [WATCH]

A massive warehouse fire that began in Los Angeles’ Boyle Heights neighborhood on June 17 continued burning into the weekend, prompting emergency declarations, air quality concerns, and questions about the response from state and local officials, as reported by Red State.

The fire erupted at a Lineage cold food storage facility on South Los Palos Street, just east of downtown Los Angeles. According to officials, the blaze appeared to be concentrated on the roof and within the building’s solar panel system.

Despite extensive firefighting efforts, the fire remained active several days later.

Authorities initially issued a shelter-in-place order covering the area south of the 101 Freeway to Washington Boulevard and east of Soto Street to Indiana Street. The order was later lifted around 8:45 p.m.

The Los Angeles Police Department said approximately 70 people were evacuated from two nearby streets. Officials also reported that an ammonia line was compromised during the incident, but was later secured.

As the fire continued, the Los Angeles Police Department issued a citywide tactical alert to increase the number of available officers.

The warehouse had experienced a similar solar panel-related fire in August 2024, according to reports.

Los Angeles Fire Department Chief Jamie Moore described the blaze as unusually difficult to combat due to the building’s construction and contents.

The 500,000-square-foot facility houses approximately 85 million pounds of frozen food products.

Moore said the structure functions “like a giant cooler,” with corrugated steel walls containing dense foam insulation that continued burning and producing smoke despite ongoing helicopter water drops.

Fire officials said the hazardous materials concerns had largely been addressed, allowing crews to focus on issues related to spoiled food products inside the facility.

As the fire burned through multiple days, residents across Los Angeles County reported smoke odors, haze, and deteriorating air quality.

Complaints surfaced from neighborhoods including the San Gabriel Valley, Northeast Los Angeles, Glendale, Burbank, and downtown Los Angeles.

The smoke also became visible near Dodger Stadium. Social media posts from reporters at the ballpark showed the stadium surrounded by haze from the nearby fire.

“The smoke from the nearby Boyle Heights warehouse fire has enshrouded Dodger Stadium in an acrid, nasty haze. Not sure I’d want to sit here and watch as a fan, much less play the game, unless conditions improve,” reporter Ben Bolch wrote on X.

Officials estimated that roughly 85 million pounds of food, including meat, poultry, and bread products, could be affected as the prolonged fire complicated response efforts.

Four days after the fire began, Governor Gavin Newsom proclaimed a state of emergency related to the incident.

The declaration came as firefighting operations continued and concerns grew over the fire’s duration and impact on surrounding communities.

The ongoing emergency also became the subject of political criticism. Former Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt alleged on X that Mayor Karen Bass was not in the city when the fire began.

“Karen was sipping cocktails in Chicago when the Boyle Heights Fire erupted, just as she was sipping cocktails in Ghana when our Palisades Fire erupted,” Pratt wrote.

Former California State Senator Gloria Romero also questioned the city’s response.

“So once again, she was out partying and failed to act quickly when East LA caught fire?” Romero wrote on X.

Meanwhile, former California Assemblywoman and current State Senate candidate Wendy Carrillo directed criticism toward Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis over the impact of smoke on nearby communities.

Carrillo also stated, “The Boyle Heights fire is one block / across the street from East Los Angeles, and it is a disgrace that you have not done more to help East LA families who are inhaling toxic smoke.”

Firefighters remained on scene through the weekend as crews continued efforts to fully extinguish the blaze and address ongoing environmental and public health concerns.

Dem Whistleblower Promises To Name Party Elites Who Hid Biden’s Cognitive Decline [WATCH]

Lindy Li, a former Democratic National Committee fundraiser who later left the Democratic Party, says her upcoming book will identify individuals she believes were aware of concerns surrounding former President Joe Biden’s cognitive condition during the 2024 election cycle but did not publicly acknowledge them, as reported by Fox News.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Li discussed her forthcoming book, Unburdened, which is scheduled for release later this year.

Li said the book will detail internal discussions within Democratic circles, polling data, and concerns she says were present long before Biden ultimately ended his 2024 reelection campaign.

“Whatever was out there, it wasn’t the truth. They wanted him to go, and also in my book, I will be telling people exactly who was aware of Biden’s cognitive decline but pretended otherwise,” Li told Fox News Digital during a phone interview.

Li, who previously worked as a fundraiser connected to a wide range of Democratic Party figures, said she was surprised by the number of prominent Democrats who privately expressed concerns about Biden while continuing to defend him publicly.

Among those she referenced was Senator Adam Schiff of California.

“I remember getting a text from Schiff,” Li said, referring to Adam Schiff, then a Democratic candidate for Senate and a leading House Democrat.

“I have it in my book. Basically, Adam Schiff was — I can’t remember what he said on TV, but I’m telling you right now that behind the scenes he very much wanted [Biden] to go.”

A spokesperson for Schiff disputed the significance of the claim, pointing out that the senator’s concerns became public after Biden’s performance during a 2024 debate.

The spokesperson noted that Schiff later publicly called on Biden to step aside in July 2024.

“The Senator’s concerns and call on President Biden to not run was very public, so none of this is news,” the spokesperson said.

Li argued that concerns about Biden extended beyond Schiff and involved other party figures who were reluctant to challenge the president publicly.

“They didn’t want to get ostracized by the party. It’s like the axiom: you come at the king; you better not miss. Everyone would have missed,” Li said.

According to Li, internal polling reinforced the belief that Biden remained difficult to challenge despite concerns about his condition.

“There are many candidates who polled themselves against Biden and then realized that they couldn’t beat him in a primary. It wasn’t a matter so much of anti-Trumpism. It was self-interest,” Li said.

“I’ve seen the polling data, and I also include that in my book — polling no one has seen before.”

Li also claimed internal polling showed Vice President Kamala Harris was not viewed as the strongest potential successor within Democratic circles before Biden exited the race.

“She was the weakest candidate in the field,” Li said.

“I also have polling data right before Kamala ascended. We stacked her against Buttigieg, Newsom, Shapiro, Whitmer — all of them,” Li said, referring to several prominent Democratic figures.

Beyond political calculations, Li said she believes Biden’s longstanding relationships within the party created a level of personal loyalty that made public criticism difficult for many allies.

“He had decades of loyalty — his bond with people like James Clyburn,” Li explained, referring to one of Biden’s longtime supporters and allies.

“There’s something about Joe Biden. He was incredibly kind,” Li said.

Li also told Fox News Digital that she believes the Democratic Party has struggled since the 2024 election and described the organization as being in “shambles” and “completely rudderless” following its electoral defeat.

Her book is expected to provide additional details about internal Democratic Party discussions, polling, and strategy decisions surrounding Biden’s reelection campaign and the events leading up to his withdrawal from the 2024 race.

Trump-Endorsed Candidate Claims Historic Victory in Colombia Election Showdown [WATCH]

Right-wing candidate Abelardo de la Espriella won Colombia’s presidential runoff on Sunday, defeating left-wing Senator Iván Cepeda in a closely contested election that signals a political shift away from the government of outgoing President Gustavo Petro, as reported by Trending Politics News.

With nearly all ballots counted, de la Espriella received 49.66 percent of the vote, or approximately 12.96 million votes, compared to Cepeda’s 48.70 percent, or roughly 12.71 million votes. The margin separating the two candidates was fewer than 251,000 votes.

The result made de la Espriella the most-voted presidential candidate in Colombian history.

The runoff followed the first round of voting held on May 31, 2026. In that contest, de la Espriella secured approximately 43.7 percent of the vote while Cepeda received about 40.9 percent.

Because neither candidate reached the 50 percent threshold required for an outright victory, the election advanced to a second round between the top two finishers.

De la Espriella, a lawyer and businessman with no previous elected political experience, campaigned as an independent under the Defenders of the Homeland banner.

His campaign focused heavily on security issues, a major concern for many Colombian voters.

Among his proposals were the construction of mega-prisons modeled after policies implemented in El Salvador, expanded military operations against drug trafficking organizations, and the use of aerial fumigation to combat coca cultivation.

His platform also included fiscal austerity measures, investor-friendly economic policies, and conservative positions on social issues.

De la Espriella holds both U.S. and Italian citizenship and received an endorsement from President Donald Trump during the campaign. His running mate, economist José Manuel Restrepo, previously served as Colombia’s finance minister.

Cepeda, a senator aligned with the Historic Pact coalition led by outgoing President Gustavo Petro, campaigned on continuing the administration’s progressive agenda.

His platform emphasized negotiations with armed groups, expanded social programs, and institutional reforms.

The election unfolded against a backdrop of concerns over crime, economic conditions, and security challenges that became prominent issues during Petro’s presidency.

Petro entered office in 2022 as Colombia’s first leftist president. Under Colombia’s constitution, he was prohibited from seeking another term.

During his presidency, Petro frequently clashed with the Trump administration.

Areas of disagreement included drug interdiction efforts, coca cultivation levels, U.S. deportation policies affecting Colombian nationals, and Trump’s endorsement of de la Espriella during the 2026 campaign.

Petro characterized Trump’s endorsement as outside interference in Colombia’s domestic affairs.

The outgoing president’s political history has also remained a subject of public discussion. Petro joined the 19th of April Movement, commonly known as M-19, at age 17 during the late 1970s.

The organization had Marxist influences and carried out armed actions before demobilizing through peace negotiations in 1990.

Following both the first round of voting and Sunday’s runoff, Petro repeatedly questioned the election results. After the runoff, he publicly suggested outside influences affected the outcome and explicitly blamed “Israeli meddling” for his coalition’s defeat.

The election result continues a broader trend of right-leaning candidates finding success across parts of South America, while marking the end of Petro’s four-year administration and the beginning of a new government under de la Espriella.

Tesla On Autopilot Crashes Into Texas Home Killing Grandmother Instantly [WATCH]

A Tesla that the driver said was operating in self-driving mode crashed into a Texas home at high speed on Friday, killing a woman who was inside the residence, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

According to reports, the crash involved a blue Tesla Model 3 that traveled through a residential neighborhood before slamming into a home.

The collision claimed the life of 76-year-old Martha Avila Mantilla, a grandmother who was inside the house when the vehicle struck the structure.

Doorbell camera footage obtained by Fox captured the moments leading up to the crash. The video shows the Tesla crossing a front yard before crashing into the home.

Additional footage from another nearby residence reportedly shows the vehicle speeding through the neighborhood shortly before impact.

Authorities investigating the incident said the Tesla was traveling at a high rate of speed and failed to make a turn at an intersection. Instead, the vehicle continued straight through the area before crashing into the house.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation. Law enforcement officials identified the driver as 44-year-old Michael Butler.

Authorities said Butler showed no signs of intoxication following the incident and has been cooperating with investigators.

At this time, Butler has not been charged in connection with the crash.

Investigators are working to determine exactly what role, if any, the vehicle’s automated driving features may have played in the incident. Reports indicate that Butler told authorities the Tesla was operating in self-driving mode when the crash occurred.

The fatal collision comes as Tesla continues to face federal scrutiny over its automated driving technology.

The company is currently the subject of a federal investigation involving approximately 3 million Tesla vehicles and the performance of self-driving systems.

Federal regulators have also been examining whether additional recalls involving Tesla’s self-driving technology may be necessary.

Tesla’s advanced driver-assistance systems have been the focus of multiple investigations in recent years as regulators evaluate crashes involving vehicles that were reportedly using automated driving features at the time of incidents.

Officials have repeatedly emphasized that drivers are expected to remain attentive and maintain control of their vehicles even when such systems are activated.

Neighbors who witnessed Friday’s crash described the event as unfolding in a matter of seconds.

“It just flew straight into their home,” a neighbor said. “It happened so quick.”

The death of Mantilla has left family members and neighbors mourning the loss of a longtime grandmother and community member while investigators continue examining the cause of the crash.

Authorities have not announced when the investigation will be completed.

Officials are expected to review vehicle data, witness statements, surveillance footage, and other evidence as they work to determine what led the Tesla to leave its intended path and crash into the residence.

Trump Slams D.C. Vandals, Demands Justice After Reflecting Pool Attacks

President Donald Trump wasted no time responding to the latest wave of senseless vandalism in Washington.

He announced Saturday that the United States Park Police had made multiple arrests after vandals damaged the newly renovated Reflecting Pool at the Lincoln Memorial, one of the crown jewels of his effort to restore the nation’s capital to greatness.

Trump did not mince words in his Truth Social post, calling the acts “very serious crimes” and demanding accountability.

“Who would do such a thing?” he wrote.

“Years in jail! Work will begin immediately on its repair.”

His message carried the same tone he brought to his previous law-and-order campaigns, resonating with Americans tired of seeing monuments defaced while bureaucrats shrug.

The president highlighted that, under his administration, crews had already “cleaned, renovated, and beautified over 45 Monuments and Memorials, 28 Statues, and 22 Fountains in Washington, DC.”

Yet while major progress had been made, he said “real problems with Vandalism” at the Reflecting Pool had recently surfaced.

According to Trump, the culprits damaged the grass and deliberately targeted the freshly installed interior surface.

Trump detailed the attack, writing, “Just like three days ago, they destroyed the grass outside of the Pool, they’ve also done everything possible to hurt the inside surface that was just installed.”

He compared the act to previous chemical damage incidents on the National Mall, making clear these were not pranks or accidents but deliberate attempts to destroy public property.

He added that the Reflecting Pool’s algae problem, which plagued it for years, was “75 percent gone.”

The rest would be fixed soon, with the vandalized section described as “a small area of damage” that would be repaired early next week.

The investigation remains ongoing, with law enforcement pursuing everyone involved.

Reporter Emily Miller shared video from the scene showing officers arresting a man allegedly caught in the act.

In one clip, the suspect appears to have jumped into the Reflecting Pool and ripped up the blue protective sealant that lines the bottom.

Another arrest followed after a man reportedly grabbed a hose from a National Park Service worker.

It remains unclear whether the two incidents involved the same suspect.

The Reflecting Pool has been at the center of Trump’s Washington beautification push. Back in March, he announced alongside Interior Secretary Doug Burgum that his team was addressing what he called the “absolutely filthy Reflecting Pool.”

That work, he noted, should have been done long before under Joe Biden’s administration, which largely ignored the once grand monument’s deterioration.

Secretary Burgum explained that the project had been crucial.

The Reflecting Pool had been leaking about 45,000 gallons of water every day, wasting taxpayer dollars and eroding infrastructure.

Crews drained the pool, sandblasted the surfaces, repaired the plumbing, and restored the glow of the monument.

Trump personally selected an “American flag blue” base color to symbolize pride in the nation’s heritage.

For many Americans visiting the National Mall, the Reflecting Pool is more than a patch of water.

It represents the mirror of American history, stretching in front of the Lincoln Memorial, where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous “I Have a Dream” speech.

Trump’s effort to restore it was meant to honor that legacy, not allow it to crumble or be vandalized by what seem to be politically motivated agitators.

The brazenness of the attack sparked outrage among Trump supporters and many others who value law enforcement and respect for public landmarks.

WATCH:

Conservative commentators noted how quick the left is to dismiss such destruction as “free expression” whenever it fits their narrative, yet the damage costs real taxpayers real money to fix.

The contrast between Trump’s proactive leadership and the apathy shown during the Biden years could not be clearer.

While Trump’s team moved fast to clean the capital and protect its landmarks, the current crop of Washington bureaucrats appear more focused on pandering to activists than on preserving national treasures.

Law and order have long been central to Trump’s platform. His reaction to the Reflecting Pool vandalism reminded supporters why.

He believes in preserving history, safeguarding monuments, and ensuring those who deface them face real justice.

For many Americans longing for respect, discipline, and pride in the country again, his simple statement summed it up perfectly: “Years in jail!”

As repairs begin on the iconic site, Trump has shown that he is not slowing down his effort to rehabilitate the dignity of the nation’s capital.

For the countless families, veterans, and tourists who visit Washington to remember what America stands for, his commitment to restoration is not just a project of maintenance, but a reflection of patriotism itself.

Declassified COVID Files Tie Xavier Becerra to Fauci Cover Up and Spark Legal Panic in California

Tulsi Gabbard made sure to leave Washington with fireworks.

Just before stepping down as Director of National Intelligence, she dropped a stack of newly declassified documents that suggest the Biden administration buried the truth about COVID’s origins.

Those documents also shine a harsh light on Xavier Becerra, Joe Biden’s Health and Human Services secretary at the time and now the Democrat pick for California governor.

According to the evidence, Becerra played an essential role in censoring whistleblowers who were ready to expose Fauci’s misleading statements to Congress about gain-of-function research.

The documents reveal a tangled web of bureaucratic coordination aimed at saving Fauci from public embarrassment and keeping the lab leak theory out of mainstream debate.

Gabbard’s release points to a deliberate effort by senior officials to reroute and suppress a whistleblower complaint that could have dismantled the official narrative about COVID’s “natural origins.”

It all happened as Americans were locked down, businesses were dying, and honest scientists were being smeared for questioning Washington’s preferred storyline.

In the third batch of documents made public on June 18, Gabbard included a letter from DNI General Counsel Chris Fonzone.

That letter detailed how intelligence officials manipulated an investigation into a whistleblower’s report.

The whistleblower claimed that the intelligence community believed COVID came from a leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and that Dr. Anthony Fauci lied about it to Congress.

Instead of pursuing the truth, the matter was sent straight to Becerra, whose office promptly buried it.

The paper trail points directly to the infamous Senate exchanges between Fauci and Senator Rand Paul in May and July of 2021. Everyone remembers those hearings.

Fauci angrily declared, “The NIH has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute.”

Paul called him out months later, asking if he wanted to retract that statement. Fauci doubled down.

It turns out the whistleblower was ready to testify that Fauci’s answers were false.

But his testimony was killed on Becerra’s desk.

That suppression allowed Fauci’s story to stand unchallenged, shielding the administration from accountability.

Instead of transparency, Becerra’s office launched a watered-down “alternative investigation” that accomplished little more than cutting off funding to EcoHealth Alliance and its president, Peter Daszak, the same group that had funneled U.S. taxpayer dollars to Wuhan.

The move looked impressive on paper, but it let every powerful player walk away untouched.

Meanwhile, Fauci faced no repercussions for misleading Congress or the public.

Documents confirm that he even received a pardon signed by Biden, insulating him from any future legal liability tied to his COVID-era actions.

Gabbard’s release suggests this protective circle was deliberate, coordinated through agencies that should have been hunting for the truth but instead acted as political shields.

Now Xavier Becerra finds his own name stamped all over the latest scandal, and not just related to COVID.

His longtime chief of staff, Sean McCluskie, is already facing federal charges for allegedly conspiring with California Governor Gavin Newsom’s former political adviser to funnel money from Becerra’s dormant campaign fund.

Although Becerra claims ignorance, the optics are horrible for a man running for governor in a state struggling under decades of Democrat corruption.

The irony is thick. California Democrats have spent years preaching about “integrity in government” while their leaders appear to operate by backroom deals.

The same Xavier Becerra who cut off Americans’ access to critical information about COVID origins now wants to run a state that saw some of the harshest pandemic lockdowns in the country.

If Becerra helped kill a whistleblower complaint to protect Fauci, Californians deserve to know before they hand him the keys to Sacramento.

Larry Sanger, cofounder of Wikipedia, first flagged the troubling connections buried in the declassified memos.

His independent research aligned perfectly with Gabbard’s claims that senior Biden officials went to great lengths to stamp out dissent within the intelligence community.

Sanger, no right-wing ideologue, simply found what the legacy media refused to touch.

The documents he examined paint a devastating picture of a government more concerned with managing optics than acknowledging the possibility that a U.S.-funded project in Wuhan may have created a global disaster.

Ordinary Americans who were ridiculed online for doubting the official story now have more reason than ever to feel vindicated.

So far, Becerra has stayed silent while the story explodes online.

Silence may not save him this time.

The notion that a sitting cabinet member rerouted a whistleblower’s testimony to protect Fauci would send shockwaves through any honest government.

For Democrats, it is just one more scandal stacked on a mountain of others they hope voters forget by November.

The situation also exposes how far the White House went to coordinate censorship.

By controlling which theories were “acceptable” and which officials would investigate, Biden’s team successfully hid key evidence from Congress and the public.

The result was years of confusion, mistrust, and scientific gaslighting that damaged America’s credibility abroad and freedom at home.

Now with these declassified papers out in the open, the political fallout is only beginning.

Gabbard’s release confirms what many have long suspected, that the COVID narrative was polished and protected by the same people who claimed to “follow the science.”

As one scandal merges into another, Xavier Becerra’s campaign dreams could turn into a legal nightmare.

And if justice still matters in America, he will be looking for a lot more lawyers very soon.

EU President Costa Under Fire for Secret Talks With Putin as Bloc Splits Over Russia [WATCH]

For months, there has been sharp division among the European Union elite over how to engage with Russia.

Some EU figures quietly floated the idea of reviving communications with Moscow, using names like Angela Merkel and Helmut Schroeder as potential intermediaries.

Yet, instead of uniting the bloc, the debate has further exposed the deep rift between Western Europe’s globalist leaders and those frustrated with their endless hostility toward Russia.

In an unexpected twist, European Council President Antonio Costa decided to open a line of dialogue with the Kremlin.

The move instantly triggered outrage from the EU establishment, particularly France’s Emmanuel Macron and Germany’s Friedrich Merz.

According to several EU diplomats, the two wasted no time blasting Costa for daring to speak with Moscow without the bloc’s full approval.

The resulting clash reportedly turned into one of the most contentious meetings in Brussels in recent memory.

Ironically, it was the first major summit since 2010 without Hungary’s Viktor Orban, the leader who used to be framed as the EU’s lone contrarian.

The absence of Orban revealed that resistance to the globalist narrative is now growing across the continent.

Multiple European leaders, particularly those from smaller countries tired of Brussels’ heavy-handed approach, threw their support behind Costa.

Diplomatic insiders described the late-night gathering as “discordant” and rattled by unexpected alliances forming against the dominant Franco-German axis.

At the heart of the dispute lies a fundamental question about the EU’s foreign policy direction.

Should the European Union remain locked in its anti-Russia stance driven by Washington and NATO interests, or should it reclaim its independence and seek a functioning relationship with Moscow?

Costa’s move, though criticized, may signal a new willingness to test diplomatic waters rather than cling to the same failed isolation strategy.

Reports suggest that Costa’s chief of staff, Pedro Lourtie, made contact with Russian counterparts on two occasions in recent weeks.

His calls, reportedly placed to senior aide Yuri Ushakov, aimed to gauge Russia’s openness toward peace talks.

Though Costa’s team concluded that “conditions are not currently viable,” the mere fact that the European Council president explored the possibility angered the globalist establishment.

Macron and Merz doubled down on their outrage, arguing that Costa exceeded his mandate.

Yet their fury has backfired, making them look increasingly isolated as other European leaders grow weary of endless confrontation.

Brussels insiders told reporters that several nations, including Denmark and the Netherlands, joined the criticism of Costa, but there was notable skepticism within the room about continuing Europe’s inflexible hostile stance.

Costa, for his part, defended his actions as a logical attempt to assess the feasibility of peace.

He reminded his critics that his role requires speaking on behalf of all 27 members, not merely parroting the hardline faction in Paris or Berlin.

“It is my duty to explore every path toward European unity, including communication when necessary,” Costa reportedly told his colleagues.

WATCH:

Even former German Chancellor Angela Merkel weighed in from the sidelines.

Having long criticized the EU for abandoning dialogue with Russia, Merkel reaffirmed that refusing to talk accomplishes nothing.

While she denied any interest in serving as an envoy, her remarks have emboldened those in Europe who believe that constant moral posturing against the Kremlin has produced only division and economic strain.

The political fallout reveals just how fragile unity inside the EU has become.

From energy policy to sanctions fatigue, many member states see no tangible benefits from prolonging the stalemate with Russia.

Ordinary Europeans are paying the price through inflation, energy shortages, and weakened industry, while leaders in Brussels focus on political theatrics and signaling virtue to Washington.

Costa’s tentative outreach, if anything, highlights the quiet but growing impatience within Europe.

Governments in Southern Europe, already facing domestic backlash over energy costs and unending Ukraine aid commitments, are eager for a shift in strategy.

Meanwhile, Macron and Merz appear determined to double down, unwilling to admit that two years of aggression and posturing have yielded little progress.

It is hard to miss the irony that the European Union, once proud of its claim to moral superiority and diplomatic skill, now cannot even tolerate private phone calls that might lead toward peace.

As the establishment lashes out at Costa for speaking with Moscow, it becomes ever clearer that Europe’s ruling class is more interested in control than resolution.

If Costa’s minor act of diplomacy causes this level of hysteria among the globalist elite, one can only imagine the panic that would ensue if the European public begins to demand real change.

Israel and Hezbollah Reach Fragile Ceasefire as Iran Threatens to Tighten Grip on Strait of Hormuz [WATCH]

Israel and Hezbollah have reached another uneasy ceasefire in southern Lebanon following a night of heavy exchanges that left several Israeli soldiers dead, and dozens of Hezbollah fighters eliminated, according to the Israeli Defense Forces.

The ceasefire, coming after one of the deadliest flare-ups since the recent agreement between the United States and Iran, highlights the delicate balance in the region as Tehran continues to flex its power.

Sources from Washington confirmed that Vice President JD Vance halted his trip to Switzerland, where he was set to lead negotiations with Iranian officials, following the overnight escalation.

President Trump, meanwhile, was scheduled to head to Camp David for high-level briefings.

The sudden shift in plans suggests a serious reassessment of the current Middle East strategy as Iran’s grip tightens not only through its proxies but through direct maritime control.

The Israeli military announced this morning that the ceasefire had officially begun at 9 a.m. Eastern Time, but reports quickly surfaced that Hezbollah and Israeli forces continued striking targets within the first hour.

Axios reported that clashes extended into the morning, with Israeli aircraft targeting southern Lebanon and Hezbollah drone activity spotted near northern Israeli towns.

By dawn, both sides had traded conflicting claims of commitment and betrayal.

Hezbollah accused Israel of “massacres” and “civilian destruction,” while Israel’s defense forces said they were responding to “repeated and blatant ceasefire violations.”

The IDF reported hitting over 80 Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon and two command centers in the Beqaa Valley, eliminating “dozens of Hezbollah terrorists.”

Hezbollah’s statements painted a familiar picture of victimhood, accusing Israel of aggression and unlawful attacks, while simultaneously boasting of its own “resistance operations.”

The Israeli National Security Minister, Itmar Ben Gvir, minced no words, declaring that Israel must respond decisively.

“All of Lebanon must burn,” he said, stressing that restraint invites more bloodshed.

“Enough with the ping-pong. In the Middle East, you win by overwhelming force.”

The overnight drama comes as Tehran implements new maritime restrictions that directly challenge assurances made in the recent memorandum of understanding with Washington.

Iran’s Persian Gulf Strait Authority released an order requiring all vessels traveling through the Strait of Hormuz to obtain insurance approved by Tehran.

WATCH:

The new directive effectively gives Iran control over international traffic in one of the world’s most critical shipping lanes.

The agreement had supposed to guarantee free and open navigation, but Iran’s sudden rule change revives old fears of economic blackmail through maritime threats.

According to reports reviewed by CBS, Tehran’s move has already rattled shipping operators and oil markets across the region.

The Strait of Hormuz handles roughly 20 percent of the world’s oil traffic, meaning any Iranian-imposed barriers could create a crippling ripple effect on global energy prices.

The Biden-era Iran deal, which the Trump administration has fiercely criticized as naïve and dangerous, appears to be unravelling as Tehran tests the limits of American patience.

Analysts say Hezbollah’s timing was not coincidental.

The group, long bankrolled and armed by Iran, used renewed tensions to signal defiance against both Israel and Western pressure.

Yet Israel’s response was immediate and forceful, striking 150 targets overnight.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released video footage on X, stating, “The IDF struck powerfully 150 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon and eliminated dozens of terrorists.”

His message was unambiguous. Israel intends to respond to every act of aggression with decisive retaliation.

Lebanese sources say large portions of southern Lebanon saw devastating damage overnight. Civilian areas have reportedly been affected, though Israel maintains that its strikes were aimed at terrorist sites and rocket launch pads.

The IDF insists it is defending its borders from continued Hezbollah rocket fire, an argument that rings clear amid images of destroyed Israeli homes in the north.

The United States now finds itself in an awkward position.

As Iran defies the spirit of its diplomatic commitments, Washington’s leverage appears limited.

For Vice President Vance, a delay in Swiss talks may signal that the administration is preparing a firmer stance, or it may simply mark another chapter of diplomatic paralysis.

Meanwhile, Israel braces for what could become a new cycle of escalation.

Although the current ceasefire technically stands, few in the region expect it to last.

Hezbollah’s track record of violating agreements is long, and Iran’s influence on the group’s command structure means Tehran effectively calls the shots.

The uneasy truce between Israel and Hezbollah might offer a temporary pause, but it also reveals the deeper reality.

Iran is asserting control not only over the land proxies it funds but over the waterways that fuel the global economy.

With each move, Tehran is daring the world to respond.

And so far, the West has simply blinked.

Biden Wanders Off Stage Asking for Granddaughter After Jill and Obama Leave Him Behind [WATCH]

The never-ending spectacle of Joe Biden’s public confusion took another awkward turn Friday in Chicago during the opening ceremony for the Barack Obama Presidential Center.

The eighty-three-year-old appeared lost, abandoned, and bewildered in front of a national audience as even his wife and former boss seemed to forget him on stage.

It was supposed to be a celebration of Obama’s legacy, yet the moment quickly turned into another episode of Biden’s frailty playing out in plain view.

After former President Barack Obama and Jill Biden exited the stage, cameras caught the current commander in chief standing alone, staring out across the crowd.

Spectators could see him visibly uncertain about what to do. He removed his sunglasses, squinted at the audience, and, in a moment that summed up his disconnect from the scene, shouted, “Where’s my granddaughter?” before the camera quickly turned away and cut the feed.

The bizarre incident sparked another round of public questions about Biden’s fitness and the constant pattern of confusion that marks his appearances.

Observers online noted that Obama seemed more comfortable dancing his way off the stage than checking on his visibly confused former vice president, leaving Biden to muddle through the moment on his own.

Jill Biden, who has often played the role of stage manager at her husband’s side, followed Obama off the stage without glancing back.

Video footage shows Joe lingering, slowly looking around before shuffling in the general direction where the others had gone.

It was uncomfortable to watch, but hardly surprising to anyone paying attention over the last three years.

Later in the same event, Biden apparently lost track of the exit again and had to be pointed toward the proper direction.

Stage staff and aides once more intervened to guide the president as cameras rolled.

Those watching at home could only shake their heads and ask how this is still being excused as normal.

The White House, consistent with its usual pattern, issued no serious comment on the confusion and offered no explanation beyond its practiced deflections.

The mainstream press responded with the same tired routine, avoiding serious questions about his mental condition while pretending the incident barely occurred.

The corporate media’s silence remains as deafening as Biden’s blank stares.

It is an increasingly cruel display when the country’s elderly president is paraded before cameras, only to appear lost and uncertain about his surroundings.

Yet the Democratic establishment continues to brush off obvious signs of decline, insisting he is “sharp” and “engaged.”

Even casual viewers can see the truth in the unedited video clips that the press tries to bury.

For conservatives, the embarrassing moment felt like more evidence of the ongoing deception from Washington elites who insist everything is fine.

It was another scene straight out of the “Weekend at Bernie’s” playbook that has become symbolic of Biden’s presidency.

The nation watches a man clearly struggling to hold focus while handlers hustle to keep appearances together.

Obama’s relaxed behavior at the event said plenty too.

The former president seemed entirely unbothered by the sight of his one-time understudy lost behind him.

That detachment spoke volumes about the current state of Democrat unity and the political theater that binds them.

Biden’s visible confusion contrasted sharply with Obama’s showmanship and self-satisfied demeanor.

The repeated public stumbles, blank pauses, and verbal slip-ups have become impossible to count.

What used to be occasional bloopers are now near-daily occurrences that only reinforce public doubt.

Polling numbers reveal that a majority of Americans question Biden’s mental fitness for office, something obvious long before this latest embarrassment.

Events like the Obama Center opening do not just embarrass Biden himself; they raise questions about who is really in charge at the White House.

Every moment he appears confused or lost makes it harder for his aides to maintain the illusion of control.

The spectacle hurts national credibility as foreign leaders certainly notice what Americans see unfolding on camera.

For everyday Americans, the image of Biden helpless and alone at a ceremony meant to honor a past president felt symbolic of his entire administration.

He has been left isolated, detached from reality, and out of touch with those he claims to represent.

The question is no longer whether he is fit for another term, but how much longer the political machinery can carry on the cover act.

If this is the man Democrats expect to lead another four years, the voters will have to decide in November whether they can stomach more of these confused public moments from a president who too often seems unsure where he is or what he is doing.

The stage in Chicago told the story more clearly than any press release ever could.
