JD Vance Breaks Down What Real Success on Immigration Means to Him

Vice President J.D. Vance said the American public continues to support immigration enforcement while court rulings limit the government’s ability to carry it out.

Speaking about the current legal landscape, he argued that the courts are preventing elected leaders from delivering the policies voters expect.

Vance stated, “You cannot have a country where the American people keep on electing immigration enforcement and the courts tell the American people they’re not allowed to have what they voted for. And that’s where we are right now.”

Atlanta, Georgia, USA – 4th Nov, 2024. Ohio Senator JD Vance arrives with his wife Usha Vance at the Vice Presidential Nominee’s election rally at the Cobb Galleria Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

He said the administration will continue pursuing its objectives through the judicial system, including appeals that could reach the Supreme Court.

According to Vance, the effort involves working through immigration courts and higher courts to secure the authority needed to implement enforcement measures.

He said the administration is focused on moving forward within the legal framework while seeking broader clarity on the limits and responsibilities of immigration enforcement.

Vance also addressed the question of what constitutes success in the current effort.

He said he would like to see most of the illegal immigrants who entered the country during the prior administration removed, but he defined the primary measure of progress differently.

He explained, “Success, to me, is not so much a number, though, obviously I’d love to see the gross majority of the illegal immigrants who came in under Biden deported, that actually is a secondary metric of success.”

Vance said lasting progress depends on setting policies that the courts accept and creating the operational capabilities required to enforce immigration law at scale.

Vance added, “Success, to me is that we have established a set of rules and principles that the courts are comfortable with and that we have the infrastructure to do that allows us to deport large numbers of illegal aliens when large numbers of illegal aliens come into the country, that, to me, is real success.”

Woke Critics Melt Down After Pantone Picks Off-White Color of Year

Pantone’s announcement of its 2026 Color of the Year — an off-white shade called “Cloud Dancer” — prompted an immediate wave of outrage on social media, with many self-identified woke white women accusing the company of being racially insensitive and “tone-deaf.”

The company unveiled the selection last week, describing the color as a calming choice meant to reflect stability in a chaotic cultural moment, as reported by The New York Post.

The reaction online quickly shifted away from design commentary and toward political and cultural grievances.

Dozens of users criticized Pantone for choosing a shade of white, claiming the company was intentionally provoking controversy or signaling support for what they described as racial dominance.

“Let’s be honest, whiteness is being weaponized everywhere right now. It’s in our politics, our media, our police forces, our borders. Instead of reading the room, Pantone basically branded it a lifestyle,” one woman posted on TikTok.

Another user argued the decision carried a larger cultural message, writing, “It’s not just out of touch, it’s symbolic. It’s a reminder of who still controls the narrative. They are openly mocking us, choosing purity white as the cultural color of the year while the rest of us are screaming for humanity.”

A separate TikTok reaction claimed the choice echoed the criticism surrounding Sydney Sweeney’s recent American Eagle “genes” campaign.

“It’s giving Sydney Sweeney has good genes. You’re going to choose white and market it as a soothing reset? For who babe? Who is that soothing?” the user said.

Others contended Pantone was engaged in “whitewashing,” with one critic saying, “Did you forget to read the room?” Another repeated the same question online. A different user labeled the company “Pantonedeaf” on Instagram.

Some critics rejected the political angle altogether but still mocked the choice as aesthetically dull.

“Your choice is about as inspired as mayonnaise,” one Instagram user wrote.

Another joked the pick reflected economic strain, saying it resembled “a recession indicator” and that “Pantone can’t afford color this year and neither can anyone else.”

Pantone has selected a Color of the Year annually since 1999.

A spokesperson for the Pantone Color Institute defended the process, saying, “The Pantone Color of the Year selection process is driven by the color/colors that are bubbling up across design and tying this to the zeitgeist. The emotional resonance inherent in the color is key to the selection process.”

Utah Tech Basketball Player Punches Opponent in the Face After Getting Dunked on

A late-game confrontation between Utah Tech and Santa Clara on Wednesday resulted in technical fouls after Utah Tech player Chance Trujillo struck Santa Clara’s Allen Graves following contact on the court.

The incident occurred in the final minutes of the second half and nearly led to a larger altercation before officials intervened.

According to the New York Post, the exchange took place after Graves scored with a dunk that put Santa Clara ahead 86-77 with 1:18 remaining.

As Graves landed, he collided with Trujillo. Trujillo responded by punching Graves in the face.

Graves stepped back after being hit and turned toward Trujillo before several teammates moved in to prevent a direct confrontation.

More Santa Clara players approached as tensions rose, but the situation did not escalate further.

Game officials acted quickly to separate both sides and prevent a broader fight between the teams.

After a brief review, referees issued technical fouls to Trujillo and Graves. Santa Clara’s Brenton Knapper also received a technical foul during the sequence.

The game resumed after the calls, and Santa Clara went on to defeat Utah Tech 90-80 at the final buzzer.

The matter may continue beyond Wednesday’s matchup.

The Western Athletic Conference has not yet released a statement regarding possible disciplinary action against Trujillo, and no comments have been made by team officials or Utah Tech head coach Jon Judkins.

‘WHO IS BEHIND IT ALL?’: Lara Logan Points to a ‘Hidden Command and Control System’

Journalist Lara Logan is raising new allegations about what she describes as a coordinated command structure within the federal government that she says has influenced major investigations, protected powerful figures, and retaliated against whistleblowers across multiple agencies.

In a recent statement, Logan said the system operates through the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency, known as CIGIE, which she notes was created during the Obama administration with bipartisan support.

Logan framed her remarks around a central question about how large and complex government operations can appear unified in suppressing information or advancing particular investigations.

“But there’s always this question of who’s behind it all, what’s the they because when you learn you know, when you learn about warfare, you learn about genocide, you learn about all these things, you begin to recognize that there are systems of command and control that have to be running these things for them to work,” Logan said.

She argued that coordinated actions across agencies require an overarching structure.

“Like how do you get all these different agencies to work together to suppress the truth. Well, you need a command and control system, because the command and control system that has been shutting down all of these things that we have seen, whether it’s fast and furious under Eric Holder, or it’s the IRS persecuting Christian and conservative organizations, or it’s the Russia collusion investigation that goes nowhere, or it’s the Ukraine impeachment trial.”

Logan asserted that the coordination she described is tied to CIGIE.

“These operations are being run out of an organization called the Council for the inspectors general on Integrity and Efficiency that was created under Barack Obama in 2008 and by the way, his partner in creating that, in having this brought into law, was none other than Chuck Grassley on the other side of the aisle, and then it was supported, you know, by people on both sides of the aisle. So they created this council which is in charge of the inspectors general.”

She questioned why more federal officials have not publicly resisted what she describes as systemic pressure.

“So what has been happening? You know, a lot of us are asking ourselves, why is there no one that’s willing to stand up in the federal government. We do hear about whistleblowers from time to time, but by and large, these people have been able to weaponize these agencies and walk all over the American people and commit crimes against the American people and get away with it.”

Logan also pointed to symbolic gestures she believes send signals to agency watchdogs.

“They do things like they have an annual gathering every year. Who do they have as their guest of honor? Not so long ago, they had Anthony Fauci. Well, what are they doing there? They’re sending a message to all of the inspector generals in like the National Institutes of Health, for example, and beyond, don’t touch this guy. He’s a made man. He belongs to us.”

She said the system has the ability both to initiate and to block investigations.

“And so what they do is, it’s not they investigate what they want to, such as when they, you know, they went after Donald Trump for Russia collusion, right? So when they want to do an investigation to reinforce an operation or a false narrative or to take out their political rivals, they have the power to do that. And when they don’t want something to be investigated or they want that investigation to die on the vine, they’re able to do that too.”

Logan emphasized her concerns about whistleblowers, arguing that even those with legal protections face internal obstacles.

“And then when you have people who are retaliated against whistleblowers who have legal protections against them. Well, where do they go? They all it all ends up in this clearing house of the inspectors general, where they have the ability to control whatever they want.”

He added, “I want to pay my deepest respect and love to all of our great citizens — like 350 million people. We love them all, whether you like them or not. We love them all. We want to take care of everybody. We have to take care of everybody in our country.”

During his remarks, President Trump quoted the Bible and delivered a message directed to Christians observing the holiday season. He also acknowledged the two National Guard members who were shot by one of Biden’s Afghan illegal aliens.

“They paid, in one case, the ultimate and the other, Andrew is getting better. Sarah unfortunately, is watching from a high watching from heaven. Parents are so incredible, and Andrew is hopefully getting better,” Trump said.

Treasury Links Celebrity DJ to Tren de Aragua Criminal Operations

The Treasury Department announced Wednesday that Venezuelan actress, model, and DJ Jimena Romina Araya Navarro has been sanctioned for her alleged role in supporting the violent Tren de Aragua (TdA) transnational criminal organization, as reported by Fox News.

Navarro, widely known as “Rosita,” is linked romantically to TdA leader Hector Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, also known as “Niño Guerrero.”

The sanctions were issued by the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control. According to the department, Navarro helped launder money for Tren de Aragua alongside other entertainers and assisted Guerrero in escaping from Venezuela’s Tocorón prison in 2012.

“Under President Trump, barbaric terrorist cartels can no longer operate with impunity across our borders. The Tren de Aragua network’s narco-trafficking and human smuggling operations have long posed a grave threat to our nation,” said Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent.

“At the direction of President Trump, we will continue to use every tool to cut off these terrorists from the U.S. and global financial system and keep American citizens safe.”

Treasury officials said Navarro performs at nightclubs in Colombia, and that some proceeds from her events are routed to TdA leadership.

She has performed at the Bogotá nightclub Maiquetia VIP Bar Restaurant, owned by her former bodyguard and manager, Eryk Manuel Landaeta Hernandez.

Navarro also serves as president and a shareholder of a Venezuela-based firm, Global Import Solutions S.A.

Hernandez was arrested by Colombian authorities in October 2024. Authorities allege he organized events featuring international artists and DJs, including Navarro, where drug sales benefited the gang, and illicit proceeds were laundered.

Hernandez also allegedly funneled money to Guerrero and senior TdA leader Mosquera Serrano.

He owns Eryk Producciones SAS, a creative and entertainment services company, and reportedly served as Tren de Aragua’s financial and logistics chief in Colombia.

The Treasury Department also issued sanctions against TdA leaders Richard Jose Espinal Quintero, Noe Manases Aponte Cordova, Asdrubal Rafael Escobar Cabrera, and Cheison Royer Guerrero Palma—Guerrero’s half-brother.

Authorities said Guerrero Palma was involved in expanding the gang’s operations into Chile.

Another sanctioned figure, Kenffersso Jhosue Sevilla Arteaga, known as “El Flipper,” was arrested in Cúcuta, Colombia, in November 2025. According to Treasury officials, he “was involved in extortions, kidnappings, and homicides.”

The Trump administration has been working to identify and remove Tren de Aragua members located in the United States.

A National Intelligence Council assessment in April reported that some Venezuelan officials facilitated TdA member migration into the United States. The State Department designated Tren de Aragua as a foreign terrorist organization in February.

Jim Jordan Hauls Jack Smith In: Subpoena Demands December Testimony Under Oath

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, has subpoenaed former Special Counsel Jack Smith for a closed-door deposition scheduled for December 17, 2025, as part of the committee’s ongoing oversight of Smith’s investigations involving President Donald Trump.

Jordan also issued a subpoena requiring Smith to produce documents related to his work as special counsel.

In a letter to Smith, Jordan wrote, “The Committee on the Judiciary is continuing to conduct oversight of the operations of the Office of Special Counsel you led—specifically, your team’s prosecutions of President Donald J. Trump and his co-defendants. Due to your service as Special Counsel, the Committee believes that you possess information that is vital to its oversight of this matter.”

Jordan said the scheduling followed communication with Smith’s legal team.

“Based upon communications with your counsel, we understand that you are available to testify at a deposition on December 17, 2025. Accordingly, please find enclosed a testimonial subpoena for a deposition at 10:00 a.m. on December 17, 2025 and a document subpoena for the requested materials to be produced to the Committee by December 12, 2025,” the letter stated.

Smith’s attorney responded to CBS News, saying, “Nearly six weeks ago Jack offered to voluntarily appear before the House Judiciary committee in an open hearing to answer any questions lawmakers have about his investigation into President Trump’s alleged efforts to unlawfully overturn the election results and retention of classified documents. We are disappointed that offer was rejected, and that the American people will be denied the opportunity to hear directly from Jack on these topics.”

Fox News reported that the subpoena escalates the committee’s inquiry. Jordan directed Smith to appear on December 17, citing Smith’s prior role and the information the committee believes he can provide.

The deposition will take place behind closed doors.

House and Senate Republicans have focused on Smith’s election-related investigation of Trump, describing the scope of the probe as involving hundreds of Republican lawmakers, GOP groups, Trump associates and media organizations.

Smith publicly discussed his work in October during a conversation at the University of London with Andrew Weissmann.

Smith defended his team and rejected claims of political influence, saying, “These are team players who don’t want to do anything but good in the world. They’re not interested in politics. I get very concerned when I see how easy it is to demonize these people for political ends when these are the very sort of people I think we should be celebrating.”

Smith was appointed special counsel in 2022 by Attorney General Merrick Garland one day after Trump announced his 2024 presidential bid.

In August 2022, federal agents executed a search at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence.

In June 2023, Smith charged Trump in Miami with 37 federal counts involving the handling of presidential records.

The charges included 31 counts under the Espionage Act and additional counts related to alleged process offenses.

In a separate Washington, D.C., case, Smith charged Trump with four counts: conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights.

Smith has said the claim that political motives influenced his work is “absolutely ludicrous.”

Last summer, Judge Aileen Cannon dismissed Smith’s classified-documents case, citing issues involving the appointment and funding of the special counsel. Smith’s D.C. case was later dismissed after President Trump won the 2024 presidential election.

‘Democrats Are So Butthurt,’ Trying to Create Narrative That Doesn’t Exist: Scott Jennings

Republican strategist Scott Jennings on Tuesday rejected Democratic suggestions that President Donald Trump’s recent MRI indicated any health concerns, calling the claims unfounded during a panel appearance on “The Arena with Kasie Hunt.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Monday that Trump underwent a magnetic resonance imaging scan in October as part of a routine executive physical.

The imaging was conducted to rule out cardiovascular issues and was described by the White House as a preventive measure commonly used for men in Trump’s age group.

During the panel discussion, Hunt questioned why Trump referenced the MRI during remarks on Sunday and whether that indicated confusion or a medical issue.

Jennings said the implication was baseless.

“I honestly think this is an attempt to create a narrative about this guy that just doesn’t exist because Democrats are so butthurt over having to live through the humiliation of the White House under Biden, claiming he was fine when he clearly wasn’t,” Jennings told Hunt.

“They want to transfer that to Donald Trump. It’s just not the same. It’s not true. And, you know, I can only speak from my personal experience. He seemed fine to me.”

Jennings said Trump led a three-hour Cabinet meeting earlier Tuesday before taking questions from reporters in his usual format.

He referenced a recent Oval Office meeting to underscore his view of Trump’s condition.

“I saw the man a few days ago in the Oval Office for about an hour. He looked and sounded fine to me. We talked about a wide range of issues. There were people coming and going. It was as bustling as it’s ever been in there when I’ve been in there,” Jennings said.

“And I didn’t notice anything at all. And so I watched most of the cabinet meeting today, which took a very long time because it lasted three hours. And at the end of it, the president then did his customary gaggle with the press and answered all of their questions.”

Leavitt said Monday that Trump’s MRI and related imaging were normal and showed no signs of inflammation or clotting.

She said the scans served a preventive purpose, offering detailed cardiovascular and abdominal evaluation as part of Trump’s routine physical.

According to Leavitt, this level of diagnostic testing is standard for the executive physical and is intended to identify any potential issues early.

She said the results aligned with the president’s overall health profile.

The White House released a physician’s note stating that Trump remains in “excellent overall health.”

That assessment matched Trump’s own comments on Sunday, when he briefly mentioned the MRI and said he had “no idea” what part of his body doctors had examined.

Tom Homan Drops the Mic on Democrats Threatening Him

Jesse Watters and Tom Homan discussed the political fallout surrounding border enforcement, with Homan saying Democrats have openly threatened to prosecute him for his work during the Trump administration.

The exchange centered on the consequences of border failures, the impact of Trump-era policies, and the future of immigration enforcement under President Trump.

Watters opened the segment by asking Homan directly, “Are you worried, Tom that they’re going to target you with prosecution after this is all over?”

Homan responded that the threats are not hypothetical.

“Oh, they already said they’re going to so Come get some bottom line is, I’m not letting them forget what they did the last four years,” he said.

Homan pointed to the scale of human smuggling and drug deaths tied to border activity.

He said, “A half a million children were were separated from their families and smuggled across this border. A quarter million Americans died from drug overdoses that came across that border.”

Homan contrasted those outcomes with the policies implemented during Trump’s presidency, saying Trump delivered on security and enforcement.

“And once President Trump done, he gave us the most secure border in history this nation,” Homan said.

According to his account, those policies produced measurable declines in key areas. He said that under Trump, “sex trafficking plummeted,” and “known inspector terrorists coming across, across the borders plummeted.”

He added that “criminal cartels are going broke” and said Trump delivered “record, record deportation.”

Homan described Trump as having kept his promises on immigration.

“Every promise he’d made, the American people he’s getting,” he said.

Looking ahead, Homan said the administration intends to identify and review individuals who entered the country without full screening.

“And let’s not forget, let’s not forget, we’re going to find every one of these people that weren’t vetted, and we’re going to make sure that they are properly vetted, and if not, they’re going home,” he said.

Homan closed by crediting Trump for improvements in national security.

“President Trump made this country safe again,” he said.

New York Pastor Announces Gender Transition During Sunday Service

A pastor in upstate New York publicly announced a gender transition during a Nov. 23 Sunday service, telling the congregation that pastoral duties will continue unchanged despite the personal update.

Rev. Phillip Phaneuf of North Chili United Methodist Church in Rochester informed church members that the transition process has already begun and that the 51-year-old now identifies as asexual, as reported by The New York Post.

Phaneuf delivered the announcement from the pulpit while wearing a rainbow stole. “So I get to announce with joy that I’m transitioning,” Phaneuf told the congregation.

“I’m affirming to all of you that I am transgender. The best way to put this is that I’m not becoming a woman, I’m giving up pretending to be a man. This is a process, and it may be shocking for some as to what this all means.”

Phaneuf went on to say that the pastor now identifies as asexual. “I’m in the category of what they call asexual,” Phaneuf said.

“I’ve been that way since we’ve all been together, in that I am not living my life in a way that involves looking for romance.”

The pastor said a name change to Phillippa is forthcoming and requested the use of she/her pronouns.

Phaneuf confirmed that hormone replacement therapy has been underway for three months and that changes in appearance, voice, and hair are expected as part of the process.

In a statement to Fox News Digital on Tuesday, Phaneuf said the details of the transition are accurate and added that the congregation has responded positively.

“Since coming out to my congregation, they have been overwhelmingly affirming!” Phaneuf said.

Phaneuf also said that the transition has the support of the bishop, church, and theology. According to Phaneuf, the bishop was consulted before the announcement and pastoral responsibilities will not change.

“What will stay the same is my deepening love for all of you,” Phaneuf told congregants.

Phaneuf noted during the sermon that the pastor’s parents do not support the decision. “They asked me to tell you all that they do not support me,” Phaneuf said. “They asked me to tell you this.”

The announcement comes after the United Methodist Church updated its position last year, reversing rules that condemned LGBTQ+ identities.

According to the denomination’s official website, the church now affirms human sexuality “as a sacred gift” applicable to “all persons, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.”

The UMC also states, “The United Methodist Church commits to befriending and caring for all persons, including LGBTQ persons in our churches and communities.”
