Scott Adams Destroys Gavin Newsom’s 2028 Hopes Just by Reading His Resume

Commentator Scott Adams delivered a sweeping critique of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, questioning how Newsom could plausibly seek the presidency given what Adams described as widespread mismanagement, regulatory overreach, and failed policies in the state.

Adams focused heavily on California’s finances, arguing that by the time of upcoming midterms, voters would have a clearer picture of what he characterized as massive losses tied to both theft and mismanagement.

“How in the world could Governor Newsom ever become president under the context of by the midterm we’re going to know a lot more about all the 100 billions of dollars that were stolen in his state, but not just stolen, also mismanaged, because it’s kind of hard to tell what is stolen was mismanaged,” Adams said. “It might end up being the same thing by the midterms.”

He pointed to California’s energy policies as another major liability, warning of dramatic increases in gas prices that he attributed almost entirely to state regulations rather than market forces.

“Some experts are saying that the cost of gas in California could reach as high as 10 to $12 per gallon, and that that cost would be almost entirely because of California mismanagement, and almost entirely because California is what I call a hoax, hoax driven government,” Adams said.

According to Adams, regulations framed as climate protections created opportunities for fraud while driving up costs for consumers.

He argued that California’s approach could not realistically affect global climate outcomes but did have concrete economic consequences.

“So the reason gas will cost so much is a variety of regulatory things that were designed to protect the climate from catastrophe,” Adams said.

“Now there was no chance it was ever going to protect the climate from catastrophe, because one state couldn’t do that anyway. But what it did do is it created this gigantic umbrella for fraud.”

Adams also cited a reported 20 percent reduction in refinery capacity, blaming excessive regulation for refinery closures.

“We got a 20% decrease in capacity when January hits because two refiners just said that we’re out. Too much regulation. We’re out,” he said.

He argued that these outcomes would make it difficult for Newsom to defend his record nationally, especially as other states do not face similar conditions.

“And you can directly tie the cost to California believing incorrectly the hoax that we were in an existential crisis that could somehow be fixed by California alone doing things that other states were not doing,” Adams said.

Adams went on to list what he described as multiple policy “hoaxes,” beginning with climate policy and extending to energy price gouging claims.

“But what Governor Newsom and other Democrats blamed the problem on was price gouging by the oil companies,” Adams said.

“Price gouging, when it was looked into, audited, there was no price gouging, found that was a hoax.”

He continued by criticizing California’s positions on border security, homelessness, and reparations.

“How about when there was a border crisis in California? What did California say? California said there’s no border crisis. Hoax number three,” Adams said.

Addressing homelessness, Adams rejected the idea that housing construction alone could solve the problem.

“There was never any chance that that would make a difference,” he said, adding that the issue involved deeper challenges beyond housing availability.

Adams also criticized reparations discussions in California.

“So we’ve got a state that’s trying to pay reparations when California never had slaves,” he said.

“None of the people lived here were victims of California slavery. It’s a complete hoax.”

He further referenced federal stimulus spending, arguing California handled pandemic-era funds differently from other states.

“So apparently, after the pandemic, there were all these stimulus funds that came from the federal government, and every other state used the government funding to pay down their debt, except California,” Adams said.

According to Adams, that decision could lead to higher payroll taxes on businesses.

“So, the result will be that the Californian businesses are going to be hit, apparently, with some enormous payroll tax to compensate For the fact that California was the only, only mismanaged state,” he said.

Adams also cited high-profile infrastructure spending, including funds allocated to a high-speed rail project that has not been completed.

“I haven’t even gotten into the, what $50 billion for the bullet train that never happened,” he said.

He concluded by suggesting Republicans may view Newsom as a vulnerable candidate and are content to wait.

“But it feels like the smartest people in the Republican Party, by now, they must have figured out that Newsom is the weakest candidate they could possibly run,” Adams said. “So I feel like the Republicans are saying, Hold. Will do Yes, wait until he gets nominated. We’ll take him out.”

Tis’ the Season: DHS Offers Big Cash Deal to Help Illegal Aliens Get Home for the Holidays

Kristi Noem announced a new holiday-season initiative encouraging individuals who are in the United States illegally to voluntarily return to their home countries, outlining financial assistance and travel support for those who choose to leave before being detained.

Speaking about the program, Noem said it is timed with the Christmas season and applies to individuals who have not been detained or who have interacted with authorities but do not face criminal charges.

She said the initiative is designed to provide an opportunity to leave the country legally, which may not be available later.

“Well, it’s home for the holidays season. So you know, not only are we returning those kiddos back to their families that Biden lost, we also are saying that if you voluntarily want to go home now to your country, if you’re in this United States of America illegally, we will give you $3,000 through the holidays to send you home,” Noem said.

Noem said the program includes travel arrangements and a financial incentive for participants who voluntarily depart.

“We’ll buy you a ticket, give you $3,000 to go home,” Noem said.

She said the offer applies to individuals who have not been detained and those who have interacted with authorities but are not facing criminal charges.

“And that includes people that have not been detained, maybe have interacted with us, are detained and don’t have criminal charges against them, raise your hand. We’ll help you get home. We’ll facilitate it,” Noem said.

Noem said those who take advantage of the program may preserve the possibility of returning to the United States legally in the future.

“And you might get the chance to come back to this country the right way someday,” Noem said.

She warned that individuals who wait until they are detained and deported by authorities would lose that opportunity.

“If you wait until we interdict you and detain you and arrest you and have to deport you ourselves. You’ll never get the chance to come back,” Noem said.

Noem directed those interested in the program to use an official government application to begin the process.

“So go on the CBP Home app and get the information, and we’ll make sure you get home in time for Christmas,” Noem said.

Clinton Camp Responds After Damaging Epstein Files Photos Go Viral

The Justice Department on Friday released long-awaited files connected to the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, complying with a congressional deadline that has renewed public scrutiny of high-profile figures linked to Epstein and reignited debate over accountability, transparency, and unresolved allegations.

The release followed a mandate set by Congress requiring the department to turn over records by December 19 under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was signed into law by President Donald Trump on November 19.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced that the investigation identified more than 1,200 victims and their families, according to reporting earlier Friday.

The document release included thousands of pages of materials, many of them heavily redacted, as well as photographs that quickly drew widespread attention.

Among the most circulated images were multiple photos of former President Bill Clinton appearing with Epstein in various settings, including dinners, travel, and leisure environments.

Some of the photographs show Clinton with unidentified women in pools, a jacuzzi, and at social gatherings.

The images spread rapidly online and across media outlets, prompting a public response from Clinton through a spokesperson later Friday.

In a statement reported by the Daily Mail, the spokesperson criticized the timing and intent of the release.

“The White House hasn’t been hiding these files for months only to dump them late on a Friday to protect Bill Clinton,” the spokesperson said.

“This is about shielding themselves from what comes next, or from what they’ll try and hide forever.”

The spokesperson added that the release was not centered on Clinton.

“So they can release as many grainy 20-plus-year-old photos as they want, but this isn’t about Bill Clinton. Never has, never will be.”

The statement also referenced comments made by Susie Wiles in a recent Vanity Fair interview.

“Even Susie Wiles said Donald Trump was wrong about Bill Clinton,” the spokesperson said, referring to Wiles’ remark that “Trump was wrong” about there being incriminating evidence against Clinton in the files.

The spokesperson further stated, “There are two types of people here. The first group knew nothing and cut Epstein off before his crimes came to light. The second group continued relationships with him after. We’re in the first. No amount of stalling by people in the second group will change that. Everyone, especially MAGA, expects answers, not scapegoats.”

Clinton has previously said he cut off ties with Epstein in 2005, when investigations into Epstein became widely known.

The two had been associated since the early 1990s, and Clinton’s name has appeared in flight logs, photographs, and other records connected to Epstein over the years.

Clinton has denied any wrongdoing and has not been charged with any crime related to Epstein.

The release of the files has also renewed attention on how different administrations handled Epstein-related records.

The Biden White House held the files for several years prior to the passage of the transparency law.

The Friday release occurred on the deadline established by Congress rather than at the discretion of the executive branch.

Epstein died in federal custody in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

His death was ruled a suicide, but questions surrounding his activities, associates, and the handling of his case have persisted.

Many victims of Epstein have said they have yet to receive full justice or accountability from those who enabled or ignored his crimes.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act was authored to compel the release of unclassified materials related to Epstein’s network and activities.

Supporters of the law argued that public disclosure was necessary to address lingering questions about who knew what and when.

As of Friday, the release of the files has intensified calls for testimony from individuals named in or connected to Epstein-related records.

Former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have previously been scheduled to appear before the House Oversight Committee.

Their appearance has been postponed multiple times and is currently set for January 13, according to congressional scheduling information.

Former Virginia Democrat Finance Chair Busted in FBI Child Porn Case

A former Democratic Party operative in Virginia has been arrested by federal authorities and charged with distributing child pornography following an undercover FBI investigation, according to court records filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Randon “Randy” Alexander Sprinkle, 30, was taken into custody after an investigation conducted by the FBI’s Manassas, Virginia, field office. Sprinkle previously held several prominent roles within Democratic political circles in the state.

He served as finance chairman of the Virginia Democratic Party, was a leader in the Young Democrats of Virginia, and worked in 2025 as campaign treasurer for Richmond City Council Vice President Katherine Jordan.

According to a nine-page criminal affidavit filed Friday, Sprinkle was an active user of the social networking application Jack’d, which markets itself as “the premier social app for gay, bi, trans, and queer people” and reports having more than 15 million members.

Court documents state that Sprinkle used the app under the name “Randy.”

The affidavit says Sprinkle initiated contact with an undercover FBI agent, identified in the filing as “OCE,” who was operating in an online undercover capacity.

The initial conversation occurred on Jack’d before moving to the encrypted messaging platform Telegram.

The affidavit includes the following exchange initiated by Sprinkle on Jack’d:

Randy: “Hey how’s it going”
OCE: “What’s up man”
Randy: “Just horny af you, telegram”
OCE: “Let’s go Randy, what’s your Tele”
Randy: “hmudmv9, got a face pic btw”

After the conversation moved to Telegram, federal investigators say Sprinkle expressed sexual interest in minors and transmitted illegal material to the undercover agent.

Based on that exchange, investigators obtained a federal search warrant as part of the investigation.

According to the criminal complaint, FBI agents executed the search warrant on October 16, 2025.

The affidavit states that investigators conducted a forensic examination of Sprinkle’s electronic devices and recovered archived files that federal authorities identified as child pornography.

The affiant wrote that investigators “completed the extraction” of Sprinkle’s computer and located files containing child sexual abuse material.

One of the files, according to the complaint, involved the sexual abuse of an infant by an adult male.

Federal authorities cited the recovered material as meeting the statutory definition of child pornography under federal law.

Following the arrest, several Virginia Democratic officials who had professional or political ties to Sprinkle issued public statements responding to the charges.

Richmond City Council Vice President Katherine Jordan, who employed Sprinkle as campaign treasurer during the 2024 election cycle, released a statement condemning the allegations.

“What has been alleged is disgusting and abhorrent,” Jordan said.

“I’m shocked and sickened.”

First District Richmond City Council member Andrew Breton, who also previously employed Sprinkle for campaign finance services, issued a separate statement after the charges were made public.

“The allegations are shocking and disturbing,” Breton said.

“I am grateful that law enforcement is involved, and that justice is taking its course.”

Representative Jennifer McClellan, a Democrat representing Virginia’s Fourth Congressional District, was also connected to Sprinkle through past public appearances.

According to reports, Sprinkle appeared alongside McClellan in several photographs posted to social media.

A spokesperson for McClellan addressed the matter following the arrest.

“Congresswoman McClellan is shocked by these appalling accusations which should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” the spokesperson said.

Court records show Sprinkle is currently being held at the Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Virginia.

He faces federal charges related to the distribution of child pornography. If convicted, the charges carry significant prison penalties under federal law.

Federal authorities have not indicated whether additional charges may be filed or whether the investigation could expand beyond Sprinkle.

The case will proceed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

The arrest has drawn attention due to Sprinkle’s past involvement in Democratic Party operations at both the state and local levels, as well as his work on multiple political campaigns.

Law enforcement officials emphasized that the charges stem from an undercover investigation and forensic evidence obtained through a court-authorized search.

No trial date has yet been announced.

Jury Convicts Wisconsin Judge Who Helped Illegal Alien Evade Arrest

A Wisconsin jury this week convicted Judge Hannah Dugan on a felony obstruction charge after finding she interfered with federal agents attempting to arrest an illegal alien who appeared in her courtroom, while acquitting her on a separate misdemeanor charge of concealing an individual to prevent arrest.

The verdict followed a trial centered on allegations that Dugan attempted to help Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, an illegal alien, evade federal immigration agents by altering courtroom proceedings and escorting him through a restricted exit after agents were seen waiting in a public hallway outside her courtroom.

The case stemmed from an incident in which federal agents were present in the courthouse corridor while Flores-Ruiz was scheduled to appear before Dugan.

According to testimony presented at trial, agents eventually left the hallway.

An FBI agent who led the investigation testified that immediately after their departure, Dugan moved Flores-Ruiz’s case to the top of her docket, told him he could appear for his next hearing via Zoom, and then led him out of the courtroom through a private door.

Prosecutors argued that these actions amounted to obstruction of a federal arrest effort.

As part of their case, prosecutors played audio recordings from Dugan’s courtroom.

In one recording, she can be heard telling her court reporter that she would take “the heat” for leading Flores-Ruiz out the back.

The government charged Dugan with felony obstruction and a misdemeanor count of concealing an individual to prevent arrest.

Prosecutors contended that her actions went beyond routine courthouse procedures and were intended to interfere with law enforcement.

Dugan’s defense attorneys disputed that characterization, arguing she was following established courthouse protocols.

They said those procedures required court employees to report the presence of immigration agents to supervisors and maintained that Dugan did not intentionally try to obstruct the arrest team.

Defense attorneys argued that her actions were administrative decisions made within the scope of her judicial role, not criminal conduct.

The trial featured testimony from 19 witnesses called by the government, including federal agents involved in the attempted arrest and a fellow judge who testified about courtroom practices.

The defense presented four witnesses, including two fellow judges, a public defender, and former Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, described in court as a longtime friend of Dugan. Dugan herself did not testify.

After both sides rested, the defense wrapped up its case on Thursday, and the matter was submitted to the jury.

Deliberations lasted approximately six hours before jurors returned their verdict.

During their first hours of deliberations, jurors submitted two questions to the court.

One question focused on Immigration and Customs Enforcement regulations and who must be notified when agents are making an arrest inside a courthouse.

The second question asked whether Dugan needed to know who specifically was being arrested in order to be found guilty of obstruction.

The jury ultimately found Dugan guilty on the obstruction charge but acquitted her on the concealment count.

Following the verdict, Dugan and her attorneys did not address reporters. According to courtroom observers, she and her legal team “left the courtroom, ducked into a side conference room, and closed the door without speaking to reporters.”

The illegal alien at the center of the case, Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, was later apprehended despite the actions described at trial.

Authorities confirmed he was deported in November.

The verdict concludes the trial phase of a case that drew attention due to the rare prosecution of a sitting judge on charges related to interference with federal immigration enforcement.

Sentencing has not yet been announced.

So Called Gender Affirming Care for Kids is Not Medicine, It is Malpractice: RFK Jr.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced actions aimed at banning transgender sex-change procedures for children, arguing that such interventions violate basic medical ethics and cause lasting harm to minors.

Kennedy said his decision is based on scientific evidence, federal health findings, and an executive order issued by President Trump.

In a statement outlining the rationale for the move, Kennedy accused doctors and major medical organizations of abandoning their obligations to protect children.

“Doctors assume a solemn obligation to protect children,” Kennedy said.

“Doctors across the country now provide needless and irreversible sex, rejecting procedures that violate their sacred Hippocratic Oath, endangering the very lives that they are sworn to safeguard.”

Kennedy specifically criticized organizations such as the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics, accusing them of promoting what he described as false claims about transgender medical treatments for minors.

“The American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics peddle the lie that chemical and surgical sex rejecting procedures could be good for children who suffer from gender dysphoria,” he said.

He argued that these positions have harmed a large number of young people.

“They betrayed the estimated 300,000 American youth ages 13 to 17, conditioned to believe that sex can be changed,” Kennedy said.

“They betrayed their Hippocratic oath to do no harm.”

Kennedy said procedures commonly referred to as “gender affirming care” have resulted in long-term damage.

“So called gender affirming care has inflicted lasting physical and psychological damage on vulnerable young people,” he said.

“This is not medicine, it is malpractice.”

According to Kennedy, his actions are supported by recent federal health findings.

He cited a peer-reviewed report issued by the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health.

“A peer reviewed report published by the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health last month confirms that sex rejecting procedures imposed medical dangers and lasting harm on children who receive these interventions,” Kennedy said.

Kennedy said his response includes multiple steps intended to halt these practices nationwide.

“So today, we are taking six decisive actions guided by gold standard science and the week one executive order from President Trump to protect children from chemical and surgical mutilation,” he said.

He also announced the signing of a formal declaration addressing the use of these procedures on minors.

“This morning, I signed a declaration sex rejecting procedures are neither safe nor effective treatment for children with gender dysphoria,” Kennedy said.

Kennedy framed the actions as a break from what he described as ideology-driven medical practices and said the focus must return to child welfare.

“We’re done with junk science driven by ideological pursuits, not the well being of children,” he said.

Democrats Exposed for Defending Big Insurance Companies at American Families’ Expense

Republican lawmakers Virginia Foxx and Jason Smith pushed back forcefully during a congressional hearing against Democratic claims that Republicans are responsible for millions of Americans losing health insurance, arguing instead that Democrats designed temporary subsidies, prioritized environmental spending, and continue to pour billions into a system they say is failing patients.

The exchange centered on the Affordable Care Act, the American Rescue Plan, and the Inflation Reduction Act, with a focus on enhanced health insurance subsidies that are set to expire at the end of the month.

Foxx opened the questioning by directly challenging the accusation that Republicans had stripped health coverage from millions of Americans.

“Mr. Smith, what law did Republicans pass that throws 15 million people off their health insurance? That’s the accusation that was made a few minutes ago,” Foxx asked.

Smith responded by rejecting the claim outright and placing responsibility on Democrats for structuring the subsidies as temporary.

“It’s a great question I’ve been setting up here listening to the testimony Madam Chair, and it is, it is unacceptable, but that people are not being honest, and not being honest with the American people, because whenever you say that Republicans remove the subsidies, that’s a complete lie,” Smith said.

“It’s not false. It’s a lie because those subsidies were created solely by Democrats, and they chose to make them temporary.”

Smith said Democrats intentionally set the subsidies to expire in order to fund other priorities.

“In the American rescue plan and in the inflation Reduction Act, they set the sunset for the end of this month,” he said.

“You know why they set the sunset for the end of this month is because they spent all their money making permanent environmental tax benefits for their wealthy donors instead of the American people. And that is just a fact, Madam Chair.”

Foxx then addressed broader claims made during the hearing that there is only one pathway for Americans to access affordable health care.

“Thank you very much. I think you’re being very generous in what you are saying here, I also understand that a comment was made that there is only one way for Americans to access affordable health care, and that is through a discharge petition that has been introduced,” Foxx said.

“However, Americans have lots of opportunities to access affordable health care, and this bill will do that, as you said, for all Americans.”

She questioned whether Democrats were focusing their efforts on a narrow slice of the population.

“And what our colleagues are saying is they want to cover 7% of Americans. Did I hear you say that correctly? And have I heard our colleagues on our side of the aisle say that correctly?” Foxx asked.

Smith confirmed the figures and expanded on the numbers.

“That’s correct. There’s 300 and roughly 47 million Americans. There’s 24 million. That’s roughly on the exchanges, and all the conversation that you’ve heard from the other side today is about that 7% of the population,” Smith said.

He contrasted that with employer-sponsored insurance, noting, “the employer sponsored health care alone is 164 million people. Their premiums are going up, but they’re not putting forward any solutions to lower their premiums.”

Smith also accused Democrats of inconsistency on reform efforts.

“They say that they’re for PBM reform, but they’re not voting that way,” he said.

Foxx then turned to enrollment data on the health insurance exchanges, questioning whether the reported figures reflect actual use of health coverage.

“Correct. And would you like to explain about the ghost people that are being counted on the 24 million? We don’t even believe it’s 24 million. Is that not correct?” she asked.

Smith said nearly half of exchange enrollees never filed a medical claim.

“So out of the 24 million, it’s quite, quite disturbing that you look that almost just close to 12 million people last year never filed one medical claim, not one,” Smith said.

“You cannot tell me that those 12 million people did not have a medical claim.”

He attributed the discrepancy to automatic enrollment.

“These are people that are automatically enrolled in health insurance on the exchanges, and they don’t know that they have health insurance,” Smith said.

“That’s why they didn’t file a claim they had medical expenses.”

Smith argued that insurance companies benefited regardless.

“But guess what? Those insurance companies the Democrats are fighting and pushing for these major subsidies. They still got their subsidies, but the American people did not get their health care coverage,” he said.

Foxx sought confirmation.

“The health insurance companies are being paid for 12 million people who never filed a claim. Is that correct?” she asked.

“That’s correct. That was last year alone in 2024,” Smith replied.

Foxx concluded by highlighting the cost of the subsidies and criticizing Democratic policy over the long term.

“So if you say we are paying for 24 million, 12 million never filed a claim. So aren’t we talking about an even smaller group of people that our colleagues want to spend a lot of money on?” she asked.

Smith answered simply: “$40 billion a year.”

Foxx added that Democrats’ approach has remained unchanged for years.

“I’ve said what the Democrats always want to do, and that’s clear in this piece of legislation,” she said.

“That’s clear their defense of the unaffordable Care Act throw money at a problem that they think premiums in the individual market have been rising since the unaffordable Care Act was enacted, 129% since that bill was enacted, all our friends want to do is authorize more subsidies. To insurance companies. It’s the only proposal they’ve offered since 2014.”

Feds Say Illegal Immigrant Licensed in New York Caused Deadly Tennessee Pileup

Federal officials announced Wednesday that the suspect accused of causing a deadly multi-vehicle pileup in Tennessee last week was an illegal immigrant who obtained a commercial driver’s license in New York, a state frequently described by critics as a sanctuary jurisdiction, as reported by Fox News.

The Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Transportation identified the suspect as 54-year-old Yisong Huang, who they said illegally entered the United States from Mexico in 2023.

According to federal officials, Huang was later released under the Biden administration and provided work authorization papers, despite reportedly being unable to speak English.

Investigators said the crash occurred on Dec. 9, when Huang was driving an empty bus on a major Tennessee highway.

Authorities reported that Huang became “distracted by a video on his phone” before rear-ending a tractor-trailer. The collision set off a chain-reaction crash involving multiple vehicles.

Officials said the incident resulted in two injuries and the death of one American citizen, Kerry Smith. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office later arrested Huang and charged him with vehicular manslaughter.

The New York Post reported that Huang was operating a tour bus at the time of the crash.

Federal officials said the crash highlighted ongoing concerns about illegal immigrants obtaining commercial driver’s licenses and operating large vehicles on public roadways.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy addressed the incident in a statement on Wednesday, linking it to broader federal immigration and licensing policies.

“It’s not just that Joe Biden let millions of migrants flood into our country illegally,” Duffy said.

“His administration doled out the documentation these unqualified foreign drivers needed to obtain trucking licenses and operate 40-ton missiles on the highway. The fact that this individual failed a basic English test also calls into question how he even got the license in the first place.”

According to DHS, Huang admitted to Border Patrol agents that he was a Chinese national after entering the U.S. illegally.

Officials said he was later released and provided with work authorization papers and a Social Security card.

DHS alleged that those documents allowed Huang to obtain a Class B commercial driver’s license, which ultimately led to the fatal crash.

The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles confirmed Wednesday that Huang’s CDL was issued on April 11, 2025.

The agency said Huang presented all required federal documents at the time of issuance and that his paperwork established a “lawful presence” valid until July 15, 2029.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem commented on the case Tuesday, tying it to broader enforcement efforts.

“Far too many innocent Americans have been killed by illegal aliens driving semitrucks and big rigs,” Noem said.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin – July 15, 2024: North Dakota Governor Kristi Noem at the Republican National Convention.

“And yet, sanctuary states around the country have been issuing illegal aliens commercial driver’s licenses. The Trump Administration is ending the chaos. The brave men and women of ICE are working nonstop to get criminal illegal aliens out of our communities and off our roads.”

Duffy also announced Friday that a nationwide audit found more than 50% of New York’s non-domiciled trucking licenses were issued illegally.

Non-domiciled licenses are commercial licenses issued to drivers who are not legal residents of the state.

According to Duffy, New York’s DMV “has been routinely issuing CDLs to foreign drivers illegally.”

He said the audit revealed a “shocking 53% failure rate in the records sampled, indicating a total collapse in the administration of New York’s CDL program.”

WASHINGTON – January 30 2025: Sean Duffy, Transportation Secretary, speaks at a White House press briefing after a Black Hawk helicopter collided with American Airlines flight 5342 by DCA airport

New York State DMV spokesperson Walter McClure pushed back against those claims in a statement Friday.

“Secretary Duffy is lying about New York State once again in a desperate attempt to distract from the failing, chaotic administration he represents,” McClure said.

“Here is the truth: Commercial driver’s Licenses are regulated by the Federal Government, and New York State DMV has, and will continue to, comply with federal rules.”

McClure added, “Every CDL we issue is subject to verification of an applicant’s lawful status through federally-issued documents reviewed in accordance with federal regulations. This is just another stunt from Secretary Duffy, and it does nothing to keep our roads safer. We will review USDOT’s letter and respond accordingly.”

Fox News Digital said it reached out to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, and the Tennessee Department of Transportation for additional details.

California Karen Melts Down Over Target Employee Wearing a Charlie Kirk Shirt

A woman from Orland, California, is facing widespread public backlash after posting a video of herself confronting an elderly Target employee over a Charlie Kirk “Freedom” shirt, an incident that has since circulated widely on social media.

The woman, identified as Michelea Ponce, filmed the confrontation inside a Target store and shared it on TikTok.

In the video, Ponce approaches the older employee as she is stocking baby clothes on store shelves and begins questioning her about the shirt she is wearing.

“Why are you taking my picture?” the Target employee asks during the encounter.

Ponce continues pressing the employee about the shirt, which features the name of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

The employee responds that she is allowed to wear any red shirt as part of her work attire.

Despite the explanation, Ponce persists in confronting her.

During the exchange, Ponce repeatedly insults the employee, calling her “f-cking stupid” and accusing her of supporting racism.

“You support a racist,” Ponce says in the video.

The employee calmly disputes the accusation, stating that Kirk is not racist. Ponce then demands to speak with a manager and declares the shirt “unacceptable.”

Throughout the encounter, the Target employee remains composed and does not raise her voice.

As the interaction ends, the employee wishes Ponce a nice day and walks away.

According to Ponce’s Facebook profile, she works as a nurse at Enloe Health, a nonprofit healthcare system based in Chico, California.

The profile indicates she has held patient care roles at the organization. Enloe Health operates several medical facilities in Northern California.

Ponce uses the TikTok handle @motherofballers, where she had approximately 19.6K followers and more than 1.1 million likes at the time the video gained attention.

The Target confrontation was not the only content on her account to draw scrutiny.

In another video posted to TikTok, Ponce criticized her own mother for wanting to buy a Bible for her teenage son. In that video, she claimed her son lives in a “military house with two lesbians.”

It is unclear who she was referring to, as Ponce frequently posts content indicating that she is married to a Mexican man.

Following the Target incident, backlash against Ponce intensified across social media platforms. Users accused her of bullying and harassing an elderly retail worker.

Others called for Target to bar her from its stores and urged Enloe Health to take disciplinary action, including termination of her employment.

As of the time of publication, Enloe Health has not issued a public statement regarding the incident or Ponce’s employment status.

The Gateway Pundit reported that it contacted Enloe Health for comment and stated it would update its reporting if a response was provided.

Shortly after reports about the incident were published, Ponce either deactivated or set all of her social media accounts to private.

It is not clear whether that action was taken voluntarily or in response to the growing criticism.

The incident has become part of a broader pattern of viral confrontations in retail settings, where employees are recorded by customers and posted online without consent.

In this case, the focus has centered on the treatment of the Target employee, who remained calm throughout the interaction despite being verbally insulted.

Karoline Leavitt Slams Vanity Fair Article Targeting Trump Chief of Staff

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt forcefully rejected a Vanity Fair article this week that focused on White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, accusing the magazine and its reporter of misrepresenting comments and omitting key context, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

The controversy stems from a Vanity Fair story written by reporter Chris Whipple, who said he conducted multiple interviews with Wiles beginning “little more than a week before the inauguration.”

In the article, Whipple described speaking with Wiles in informal settings, including Sundays after church and once while she was doing laundry at her Washington, D.C., apartment.

WASHINGTON – February 22, 2025: White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt arrives at the White House South Lawn on Marine One after her visit to CPAC.

According to Whipple’s account, Wiles discussed a wide range of topics, including what he characterized as President Donald Trump’s “alcoholic’s personality,” Vice President J.D. Vance’s political evolution from “Never Trump to MAGA,” and what he described as a decade-long period in which Vance was a “conspiracy theorist.”

Whipple also wrote that Wiles spoke about Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought as “a right-wing absolute zealot” and referenced Elon Musk’s “microdosing.”

Whipple claimed that their discussions extended to major policy and national security matters.

“Over sandwiches from the White House Mess, we talked about the challenges Trump faces. Throughout the past year, Wiles and I have spoken regularly about almost everything: the contents, and consequences, of the Epstein files; ICE’s brutal mass deportations; Elon Musk’s evisceration of USAID; the controversial deployment of the National Guard to US cities; the demolition of the East Wing; the lethal strikes on boats allegedly being piloted by drug smugglers—acts many have called war crimes; Trump’s physical and mental health; and whether he will defy the 22nd Amendment and try to stay on for a third term,” Whipple wrote.

He further stated, “Most senior White House officials parse their words and speak only on background. But over many on-the-record conversations, Wiles answered almost every question I put to her.”

Leavitt responded to the article during remarks to reporters at the White House on Tuesday, sharply disputing its characterization of Wiles and the administration.

She called the story “another example of disingenuous reporting” and said Wiles’s remarks had been taken “wildly out of context.”

“As for the Vanity Fair article, Michael, I’ll take your question directly. This is, unfortunately, another example of disingenuous reporting, where you have a reporter who took the Chief of Staff’s words wildly out of context, did not include the context those conversations were had within,” Leavitt said.

She continued, “And then further, I think the most egregious part of this article was the bias of omission that was clearly present, and we see a lot of this when dealing with the media every day— you will leave out important context, leave out comments and facts.”

Leavitt also said that multiple individuals within the White House spoke with the reporter but were not reflected in the final piece.

“You know, many people in this building spoke with that reporter, and those comments were never included in the story, probably because it didn’t push this false narrative of chaos and confusion that the reporter was clearly trying to push,” she said.

The press secretary went on to praise Wiles’s role in the administration, emphasizing her leadership and relationship with President Trump.

“So, what I’ll say about our Chief of Staff— as you’ve seen from not just myself, but also the entire cabinet and a groundswell of support from people on Capitol Hill, who don’t even work in this building— about how incredible Susie Wiles has been to President Trump,” Leavitt said.

“And he’s been able to accomplish so much because of his leadership and his tenacity, but also because of Chief of Staff Wiles’s leadership and her ability to effectuate his agenda.”

Leavitt also addressed the issue earlier on X, posting in support of Wiles and the administration.

“Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has helped President Trump achieve the most successful first 11 months in office of any President in American history,” Leavitt wrote.

“President Trump has no greater or more loyal advisor than Susie. The entire Administration is grateful for her steady leadership and united fully behind her.”

The White House has not indicated any further response to Vanity Fair beyond Leavitt’s public statements.
