Jenny McCarthy Says Charlie Kirk’s Death Changed Her Faith and Politics Forever

Jenny McCarthy described her evolution from a parent publicly linking vaccines to her son’s autism to a conservative Christian who says her faith and politics changed following the death of Charlie Kirk.

In a wide-ranging statement, McCarthy addressed her past activism, changes in medical understanding, health issues affecting women, and what she described as a growing conservative presence within Hollywood.

McCarthy said her early involvement in vaccine debates became so prominent that it entered medical education.

“There’s now a chapter in med school books that say how to deal with Jenny McCarthy type parents,” she said.

She recounted a moment that intensified her concerns after seeing a magazine cover while shopping.

“How did you link that? It was the vaccines to your son’s autism?, the interviewer asked.

I was in the grocery store on a cover of Time magazine while I was checking out. Mothers are concerned that the MMR is causing the child’s autism. I felt like someone punched me in the stomach,” McCarthy said.

She described her son Evan’s early development and health struggles, saying she did not initially recognize certain warning signs.

“By this point, Evan’s milestones were all there, but Evan was suffering from other things I didn’t know were warning signs the autism that we are seeing,” she said.

McCarthy detailed behaviors she associated with severe autism cases, stating, “the kids that can’t speak, that are head banging, that are eating their feces, that are spreading feces on the wall all day long.”

McCarthy rejected the idea that rising autism diagnoses are solely the result of improved detection.

“No, no, that’s not just better diagnosis. There is an absolute shift in the paradigm of our health,” she said.

She also discussed medical issues she believes affect women later in life, particularly related to genetics and nutrition.

“What happens if you have the MTHFR gene and you enter perimenopause and you have not dealt with it?” the interviewer asked.

McCarthy responded: “Oh, if you are deficient in certain minerals, you are gonna feel it. You are going to go through World War Three in your own body.”

Reflecting on her own experience, she added, “I wish I would have started preparing for perimenopause by 35.”

McCarthy addressed political attitudes in Hollywood, saying conservatism is more widespread than publicly acknowledged.

“There’s more conservatives than you would know, hiding out in Hollywood,” she said.

She linked that shift to events following the death of Charlie Kirk.

“After Charlie was murdered, you posted yourself listening and singing worship music,” the interviewer said.

“Look at how many people came closer to God, even including myself.”

She described a personal turning point after Kirk’s death, stating, “When he passed, I completely surrendered. I am so devoted.”

McCarthy said her faith deepened significantly and framed it as a defining change.

“I just want Charlie to know that he changed the world,” she said.

When asked about her political alignment, McCarthy gave a direct answer.

“Where do you consider yourself to be politically now?” McCarthy was asked.

She explained that the visibility of others sharing similar views strengthened her confidence.

“Conservative. You know why I feel more confident, because the army has grown,” McCarthy said.

NYPD Officers Jump Into Freezing East River to Save 67-Year-Old Man

NYPD officers rescued a 67-year-old man from the East River on Nov. 30 after responding to a 911 call reporting a person struggling in the water near Furman Street and Montague Street in Brooklyn, as reported by The New York Post.

The incident occurred around 1:03 p.m., across from Manhattan’s Pier 11, an area with heavy daily ferry traffic.

According to police, officers arrived to find the man unable to reach the shoreline. Members of the NYPD Harbor Unit initially threw a rescue float over the railing in an attempt to assist him.

When it became clear he could not reach it, two officers jumped into the frigid water to make direct contact.

Video posted by the NYPD on X shows the officers swimming toward the man and pulling him to a rocky section of the shoreline. The footage then shows responders lifting him to safety using a ladder.

One officer is heard saying, “Relax, you’re OK,” as they secured him.

The NYPD said units from Emergency Service, aviation, and scuba teams also responded to the scene. The man was transported to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition.

Authorities said it was not immediately clear how he ended up in the East River.

The NYPD highlighted the officers’ quick response in a statement posted on X.

Firefighters with the New York Fire Department conduct a week-long river rescue training with Indiana River Rescue School on top of a submerged vehicle in the East Race Waterway on April 25, 2024.

“When a 911 call came in about a person struggling in the water, the NYPD’s Harbor Unit dived right in. They didn’t hesitate, jumping into the freezing water and rescuing the individual, who is now in stable condition,” the message read.

“No fear. No delay. NY’s Finest.”

Officials did not release additional information about the man or whether he was able to communicate with first responders about what led to the incident.

The rescue occurred in an area known for strong currents and heavy boat traffic, prompting an extensive response from multiple NYPD units.

Hakeem Jeffries Exposed: Anna Paulina Luna Says He’s Blocking Insider Trading Ban

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna joined Jesse Watters to discuss the stalled effort to ban stock trading in Congress, pointing to what she described as direct obstruction from House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

The proposal has drawn bipartisan backing from 100 lawmakers, but Luna said the legislation cannot advance without agreement from leadership in both parties.

Watters opened the segment by asking, “Know where we stand, by the way, on the insider trading ban in Congress?”

Luna said she had recently spoken with Jeffries and was told he would not support moving the bill forward.

“Well, right now, Jesse, I just heard from Hakeem Jeffries that he doesn’t want to have his Democrats sign on to the legislation, even though 100 members of Congress, both Democrats and Republicans have actually said that they want to support this coalition bill because of the fact that it does include the executive branch.”

She said applying the same restrictions used in the executive branch would effectively eliminate abuses.

“But here’s the interesting fact, Jesse, if Congress was required to adhere to the same standards that the executive branch is under, there would be no insider trading, and it is happening on both sides, and it needs to end.”

Luna urged Speaker Mike Johnson and Jeffries to finalize a bill before the end of the year.

“And so I’m formally calling on both speaker Johnson and Hakeem Jeffries to do what they can huddle if you need be but come up with a consensus bill and put it on the floor before the end of the year, because 87% of Americans want this to end, and it has to for the sacred sanctity of our country.”

Watters noted the inconsistency he sees from both parties depending on who holds power.

“All right, so, so when Democrats control Congress, the Republicans said they wanted to ban stock trading, and then when Republicans control the Congress, nothing happens. Got it? I think, I think I understand what’s going on here.”

Luna responded, “We’re trying, but it’s an uphill battle.”

She said broad public support remains one of the strongest arguments for action, adding that the legislation should not be treated as a partisan issue.

Family Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit After Autopsy Rules Cruise Ship Death a Homicide

The family of Michael Virgil, a 35-year-old passenger who died aboard Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit nearly one year after an autopsy determined his death was a homicide, as reported by the New York Post.

Virgil died on Dec. 13, 2024, during a four-day cruise from Los Angeles to Ensenada, Mexico.

According to the lawsuit, Virgil boarded the ship with his fiancé and 7-year-old autistic son. When the family was informed their room was not yet ready, crew members directed them to a bar.

Court filings state that Virgil remained at the bar after his fiancé left temporarily with their son, and during that time, he was allegedly served 33 alcoholic drinks.

The lawsuit says Virgil became severely intoxicated and entered a state described as a “drunken rage,” during which he allegedly attacked crew members, threatened passengers, and attempted to force open a stateroom door.

Footage referenced in the lawsuit reportedly shows him trying to batter down a door after the confrontation.

Security personnel detained Virgil shortly afterward. His fiancé alleges that “the excessive force and fatal actions taken by crew members, including security and medical personnel,” led to his death.

The lawsuit claims Virgil was restrained, pepper-sprayed, and injected with the sedative Haloperidol while in custody.

Legal documents state that Virgil died of “significant hypoxia and impaired ventilation, respiratory failure, cardiovascular instability, and ultimately cardiopulmonary arrest,” a determination the autopsy classified as homicide.

Virgil’s family claims crew decisions contributed to the sequence of events, including the initial service of nearly three dozen alcoholic beverages and the use of both chemical restraint and physical force. The suit seeks damages for loss of support, anticipated future earnings, medical expenses, and pain and suffering.

The cruise line has declined to address specific allegations. “We don’t comment on pending litigation,” Royal Caribbean told TMZ.

The lawsuit marks the latest development in a case that began with initial family accusations in late 2024 regarding the use of sedatives during the restraint.

According to the updated filing, the family continues to assert that the sedative administration played a role in Virgil’s death. Proceedings will continue as the case moves forward in court.

Dem Rep Claims Trump and Hegseth Will Murder Americans ‘Right Here at Home’

The U.S. military has destroyed 22 drug-trafficking vessels so far this year, according to information referenced in recent public statements.

The operations, carried out under President Trump and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, have drawn criticism from several Democratic lawmakers, including Rep. Seth Moulton of Massachusetts, who questioned the legality of the strikes during an interview on CNN.

“I mean look, the President of the United States and his Secretary of Defense are conducting murder on the high seas,” Moulton said on Sunday.

He added, “They’re committing murder and Americans should care. Look, none of us like drug traffickers, but we have laws that say drug traffickers don’t get summarily executed.”

During the interview, Moulton suggested that the policy could eventually be applied domestically.

“Just give it time before Donald Trump starts doing this same kind of thing to people we do know right here at home,” he said.

Moulton’s remarks followed reporting from The Wall Street Journal describing a classified Department of Justice memo.

According to the reporting, the memo states that the White House has designated fentanyl as a chemical weapon for purposes of authorizing the maritime strikes on drug boats.

The document has not been released publicly, and no additional details have been provided by the Department of Justice regarding its contents.

Democratic lawmakers have raised questions in recent weeks about the scope of the military actions and the legal justification behind them.

Members of Congress have also debated the role of the Pentagon in counter-narcotics missions and the level of authority granted to military commanders conducting operations at sea.

The discussion intensified after a claim circulated last week suggesting a “double-tap” strike had been carried out.

Subsequent reporting stated that traffickers had returned to their vessel after an initial strike to retrieve narcotics, prompting a second strike.

The clarification led to continued debate among lawmakers and media outlets about the sequence of events and the rules governing such operations.

President Trump addressed the issue during an exchange with reporters, citing the number of U.S. deaths linked to illegal drugs.

He referenced annual drug-related fatalities in the United States and argued that the maritime strikes were part of broader efforts to disrupt trafficking networks responsible for fentanyl and other substances entering the country.

Top Obama DEA Official Indicted in Narco-Terrorism Conspiracy to Launder Millions

The Department of Justice announced Friday that a former senior Drug Enforcement Administration official has been indicted on charges that include conspiracy to engage in narcoterrorism, money laundering, and conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

Federal prosecutors say the alleged conduct occurred after his retirement near the end of the Obama administration.

DEA Administrator Terrance C. Cole and U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton of the Southern District of New York released details of the indictment against Paul Campo, who previously served as Deputy Chief of the Office of Financial Operations at the DEA.

According to the DOJ, Campo agreed to assist the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) in laundering $12 million in proceeds from drug trafficking.

Prosecutors say he also provided guidance to the cartel on obtaining drones and assault rifles after an associate, Robert Sensi, connected him with someone they believed represented the organization.

In the news release, Cole addressed the allegations directly.

“The alleged conduct occurred after he left DEA and was unrelated to his official duties here, but any former agent who chooses to engage in criminal activity dishonors the men and women who serve with integrity and undermines the public’s confidence in law enforcement,” Cole said.

“We will not look the other way simply because someone once wore this badge. There is no tolerance and no excuse for this kind of betrayal.”

The indictment outlines covert meetings between Campo, Sensi, and the person they believed to be a cartel representative.

Prosecutors say Campo and Sensi advised on laundering millions through cryptocurrency purchases, real estate investments, and pre-paid gift cards.

According to the DOJ, the pair participated in three transactions totaling $750,000 and believed the completion of the third transaction would trigger a shipment of approximately $5 million worth of cocaine.

The indictment alleges they expected to receive a portion of the proceeds. Unbeknownst to Campo and Sensi, the person they were advising was a confidential source working under law enforcement direction.

The case comes as part of broader federal efforts to target transnational criminal organizations.

On January 20, after taking office, President Donald Trump issued executive orders to strengthen border security, address illegal immigration, and classify several violent groups — including the Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua, the El Salvadoran gang MS-13, and Mexican cartels such as CJNG — as foreign terrorist organizations.

In the DOJ announcement, Clayton said Campo’s actions ran directly counter to the responsibilities he held during his 25 years at the DEA.

“By participating in this scheme, Campo betrayed the mission he was entrusted with pursuing for his 25-year career with the DEA,” Clayton said.

“CJNG is a violent and corrupting criminal enterprise that New Yorkers want broken. I commend the extraordinary efforts of the DEA in aggressively pursuing CJNG and those who support their deadly and corrupt efforts, no matter who they may be.”

Campo and Sensi were taken into custody following the unsealing of the indictment.

If convicted on all counts, both men could face sentences of up to life in prison.

Anti-ICE Mob Dragged Out After Shutting Down New Orleans Council Meeting

A New Orleans City Council meeting was brought to a halt Thursday after a group of approximately 30 protesters disrupted proceedings while demanding restrictions on Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity within the city.

The disruption escalated to the point that police intervened and forcibly removed several individuals from the chamber.

Council President J.P. Morrell suspended public comments after repeated outbursts from protesters who urged council members to declare public property “ICE free” zones.

Morrell attempted to continue the meeting before the interruption intensified.

“Alright, at this time, I’m gonna suspend public comment on this item,” he said, prompting a loud reaction from the group.

As the shouting grew, officers entered the meeting room to escort protesters outside.

According to Nola.com, several individuals resisted removal, resulting in pushing and physical struggles as officers attempted to clear the chamber.

One protester, identified as Toni Jones, was carried out of the building by her arms and legs after refusing to comply with police instructions.

The protest was a direct response to an ongoing federal immigration enforcement effort known as “Catahoula Crunch,” launched by the Department of Homeland Security in the New Orleans area.

The operation is being led by U.S. Customs and Border Protection commander-at-large Greg Bovino, with more than 200 federal agents deployed to locate and arrest individuals with criminal records who are in the country unlawfully.

Bovino released details of several arrests connected to the operation in a post on X.

He reported that agents apprehended an illegal Vietnamese national convicted of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, aggravated sexual assault with a deadly weapon, and aggravated kidnapping with a deadly weapon.

Another Vietnamese national was detained after previous convictions for sexual assault, larceny, and fondling a child.

Additional arrests included a Honduran national with prior charges of domestic abuse child endangerment, driving while intoxicated, and resisting an officer, along with a Dominican national arrested on cocaine possession charges, according to DHS.

Inside the council chambers, protesters demanded action to restrict federal activity in the city, calling for a policy that would ban agents from accessing city-owned parking lots, vacant land, and garages for civil immigration enforcement purposes.

Demonstrators held signs that read “Silence supports deportation,” “No collaboration with ICE/DHS,” and “Immigrants Built + Rebuilt This City.”

Council members attempted to move forward with the scheduled agenda, but the sustained shouting made it impossible to continue discussion.

Officers eventually cleared the meeting room, allowing the council to resume its session after the disruption had ended.

The federal enforcement effort remains ongoing as DHS continues arrest operations throughout New Orleans.

Florida Sheriff Says Massive Drug and Weapons Bust Resembled ‘Breaking Bad on Steroids’

Florida authorities announced a record-breaking seizure of illegal substances and weapons following an investigation into a criminal operation that Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey compared to “‘Breaking Bad’ on steroids,” as reported by Fox News.

The case centers on 26-year-old Maxwell Horvath, who is now facing a long list of charges tied to weapons possession and the production of illegal substances.

According to Ivey, the investigation began in September, when agents purchased illegal substances derived from kratom that contained 7-hydroxymitragynine, also known as 7-OH.

During the controlled purchase, Horvath reportedly provided agents with a tour of his business, Overseas Organics, which authorities say was producing a substance described as 13 times more potent than morphine.

“He’s proud of his business,” Ivey said in a video posted to Facebook.

“This thing looked like ‘Breaking Bad’ on steroids. … He had it lined up with all sorts of different chambers and rooms and sterile environments. … They were taking [the substance], extracting it, putting it in compressing machines.”

Ivey said Horvath believed that shipping the product out of Florida placed him outside the law. “Horvath knows it’s illegal but thinks he’s circumventing the system,” Ivey said.

“He thinks that because you go there and make a purchase, or you make a purchase online, and he ships it out of the state of Florida, he is not violating the law. Well, trick or treat, he is.”

Authorities raided Horvath’s facility following the controlled buy and reported seizing roughly 92,000 pounds of illegal substances valued at about $4.7 million.

Investigators also discovered military-grade weapons and explosive components, including five IEDs, 12 rifles, 17 pistols, three shotguns, two fully automatic submachine guns, a short-barreled rifle and revolver, three suppressors, thousands of rounds of ammunition, grenade simulators, and fifty pounds of precursor chemicals used to make explosives.

“We’re not just talking about drugs,” said City of Palm Bay Police Chief Mariano Augello.

“We’re talking about explosive devices, things that the military are utilizing and other countries are utilizing all over the world, to take out populations of people.”

Ivey said the operation represented the largest seizure of its kind in the United States. “This is what danger looks like right here,” he said.

“Everything that you see … is a red flag for disaster. … The guy was making his own suppressors, fully automatic weapons, explosive devices. This guy was either looking to engage in war or looking to arm and furnish to those that are. [He] even had a 50 cal on a tripod ready to do serious damage. … Those indictments will make sure that he spends the rest of his life right where he deserves, and that’s in prison.”

Horvath’s criminal history dates back to his first federal arrest at age 17. He previously served two years in prison and two years on federal probation for possession of an explosive device and MDMA trafficking.

“[At] 26 years old, [he is] already pretty much a career offender,” Augello said. “He has no regard for the sanctity of life.”

Fox News’ Heather Lacy contributed to the report.

Nancy Mace Proposes Photo ID Requirement for SNAP EBT Cards to Reduce Fraud

Republican Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina has introduced legislation aimed at curbing misuse of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program by requiring photo identification on SNAP Electronic Benefit Transfer cards, as reported by Fox News.

The proposal seeks to tighten verification procedures and limit the ability of ineligible individuals to access federally funded food assistance.

Danville – June 2, 2023: SNAP and EBT Accepted here sign. SNAP and Food Stamps provide nutrition benefits to supplement disadvantaged families.

According to a press release, Mace said, “Taxpayers have had enough of watching their hard-earned dollars abused by people with no legal right to these benefits.”

She added that the plan is designed to ensure the intended recipients are the ones using the cards.

“This isn’t complicated, if you’re eligible for SNAP, your photo goes on the card and you’re the only one who uses it. Not fraudsters, not criminals, not someone borrowing a card they have no right to use. This is basic common sense, fairness, and protecting taxpayers and the American families who truly need food assistance.”

Congress.gov indicates that Republican Reps. Lauren Boebert of Colorado and Barry Moore of Alabama are listed as original cosponsors of the measure.

The bill mandates that each EBT card issued to a household or individual include “a photographic image taken within the previous ten years, or in the case of a minor taken within the previous five years, of the authorized cardholder to whom the card is issued.”

The requirement is intended to assist retailers in verifying that the person attempting to use the card is the one lawfully entitled to the benefits.

A separate section of the legislation requires participating retail food stores and wholesale food concerns to inspect the photograph on the card before completing a transaction.

The text states that stores “shall demand to see, and shall inspect, the photograph located on an Electronic Benefit Transfer card for every customer using an Electronic Benefit Transfer card to ensure the purchaser is entitled to utilize or redeem benefits under this chapter.”

The bill also includes provisions for situations in which a caregiver must access benefits on behalf of the recipient.

“The Secretary shall establish procedures for reasonable accommodations to allow caregivers of a minor, individual with disabilities, or an elderly individual to access benefits on behalf of a recipient in their care,” the measure notes.

Mace, who has served in the House of Representatives since 2021, is currently running for governor of South Carolina as she pushes forward with efforts she describes as focused on preventing fraud and ensuring funds reach eligible families.

Rep. Nancy Mace Rejects Rumors of Early Retirement, Says Claims Are ‘BIG FAT NO’

Republican Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina pushed back firmly this week against reports suggesting she plans to retire early from Congress. Mace, who is currently running for governor, dismissed the rumors in a post on X, as reported by Fox News.

“Retiring is a BIG FAT NO from me – not sure why the internet is running with this like wildfire – for the clicks I suppose,” Mace wrote.

The New York Times reported that Mace allegedly told others she was frustrated with House Speaker Mike Johnson and the way he has managed the House, especially regarding the treatment of women.

According to the report, she planned to speak with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., next week about possibly following Greene’s decision to leave office early. Greene announced last month that she would step down early next year.

Fox News Digital reached out to Speaker Johnson’s office for comment.

Mace, however, contradicted the report and said the situation was mischaracterized. “Media catches one tiny piece of an overheard conversation and loses it,” she wrote on X.

She added, “Confirmed: There’s frustration that discharge petitions are the only way to move things through the House. Confirmed: There’s frustration we haven’t codified Trump’s Executive Orders. We did Gulf of America. Cool. Look at Elise Stefanik or Anna Paulina Luna comments this week. Not confirmed: That anyone is retiring. Goodness. And God bless!”

Mace also pointed to her work this week as evidence she remains fully engaged in the House.

“Case in point. I signed a discharge petition to ban stock trading today. Why does something so easy ethically and morally to support, take forcing it down the throats of leadership when it’s just common sense? Members of Congress shouldn’t line their pockets with insider trading…” she wrote.

The congresswoman is balancing her gubernatorial campaign with ongoing legislative activity. While acknowledging disagreements within House leadership, Mace made clear she has no intention of stepping away before the end of her term.
