Veteran Pleads Not Guilty After Burning U.S. Flag in Protest Near White House

An Army veteran who spent over two decades serving his country now finds himself at the center of a debate that touches on the heart of American values.

Jan Carey, a 54-year-old from Arden, North Carolina, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to federal criminal charges after he set fire to an American flag near the White House.

His act was a protest against President Donald Trump’s recent executive order on flag burning, an issue that has long stirred intense passions across the country.

Carey’s court appearance marks the latest chapter in an ongoing struggle over the boundaries of free speech and patriotic symbolism.

Although the charges he faces are not directly related to the act of burning the flag, the context of his protest and the government’s response have drawn national attention.

Carey was arraigned on two misdemeanor counts: igniting a fire in an undesignated area and lighting a fire that caused damage to property or park resources. As the case moves forward, both supporters and critics are watching closely, aware that its outcome could set an important precedent.

Chief Judge James Boasberg presided over the arraignment, setting an October 17 deadline for Carey’s attorneys to file a motion to dismiss the case on constitutional grounds. The next court date is scheduled for December 1, when a status hearing will take place.

This timeline gives Carey’s legal team the opportunity to challenge the charges by arguing that his actions fall within the protection of the First Amendment.

The events leading up to Carey’s arrest unfolded on August 25, when he burned a flag in Lafayette Park, just steps from the White House.

The National Park Service oversees the park, and, according to authorities, burning any material on federal property is prohibited by law.

Earlier that same day, President Trump had signed an executive order requiring the Justice Department to investigate and prosecute individuals for burning the American flag.

The timing of Carey’s protest was no coincidence, as it was meant to directly challenge the new directive.

The Supreme Court has previously ruled that burning the American flag is a form of political expression that is protected by the Constitution.

However, Trump’s executive order seeks to carve out exceptions, asserting that flag burning can be prosecuted if it “is likely to incite imminent lawless action” or qualifies as “fighting words.”

The President has made his position clear, stating, “You burn a flag, you get one year in jail. You don’t get 10 years, you don’t get one month. You get one year in jail, and it goes on your record, and you will see flag burning stopping immediately.”

For Carey, the protest was not just an act of defiance, but an expression of principle rooted in his long service to the nation.

After his court hearing, he told reporters, “I served this country for over 20 years, having taken an oath to uphold our Constitution. I did not take an oath to serve a dictator, a tyrant or a wannabe king.”

Carey’s words reflect the deeply personal motivations behind his decision, as well as a broader concern for the preservation of civil liberties.

The prosecution of Carey is being handled by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro’s office. Pirro, a former Fox News host and judge who was appointed by President Trump, has taken a firm stance on the matter.

Her office’s spokesman, Tim Lauer, explained, “Although we respect the First Amendment, there is a law that prohibits the burning of anything, including a flag, on federal property.”

This argument points to a tension that has long existed between the government’s responsibility to protect public spaces and the rights of individuals to express dissent.

On the other side, Carey’s defense is being led by Mara Verheyden-Hilliard, co-founder of the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund. She characterized the charges as part of a larger effort by the Trump administration to silence free speech and suppress protest.

“This is a desecration of the First Amendment by the administration, and it is crucial that people stand up and speak out, exercise their rights,” Verheyden-Hilliard said.

As the legal battle unfolds, the case has come to symbolize the ongoing conflict between authority and individual liberty, especially in a climate where protest and patriotism often collide.

Because the outcome could have lasting implications for how free speech is protected or restricted, many are watching closely.

Therefore, the resolution of Jan Carey’s case is likely to reverberate far beyond the courtroom, shaping the debate over what it truly means to uphold American values in turbulent times.

Greta Thunberg’s Lead Gaza Aid Boat Erupts in Flames After Alleged Drone Strike

A boat carrying members of an activist flotilla led by Greta Thunberg was struck by a drone in Tunisian waters on Monday, according to organizers.

The vessel, known as the “Family Boat,” was flying under a Portuguese flag at the time of the incident.

The Global Sumud Flotilla Steering Committee reported that the strike ignited the main deck and below-deck storage area, causing visible fire damage.

The group stated that the boat was inside the Tunisian port of Sidi Bou Said when the attack occurred.

The Israel Times reported that Thunberg and other committee members were aboard when the strike took place.

According to the organizers, all six passengers and crew members survived the incident without injury.

Tunisian authorities confirmed that no casualties occurred.

Footage released by the group showed individuals rushing across the deck immediately after a flash of light struck the vessel.

In the video, voices could be heard shouting, “The boat is on fire!,” as flames spread across the bow.

The 22-year-old activist was among participants in what organizers described as the “largest solidarity mission” to Gaza.

A total of 20 boats departed Barcelona on Aug. 31 with the goal of reaching the Gaza Strip to deliver aid.

Thunberg had joined the mission before Israel warned that she and other activists faced arrest and detention if they attempted to breach the blockade.

Israel Hayom reported that Israeli authorities had already prepared plans to intercept the flotilla.

The report said activists would face detention under strict “terrorist-level” conditions if they were taken into custody.

Prior to her departure, Thunberg said her involvement was part of what she called “a global uprising of people standing up” against what she described as “atrocities” in Gaza.

The flotilla’s Steering Committee emphasized that they intended to continue their mission despite the incident.

“Acts of aggression aimed at intimidating and derailing our mission will not deter us.

Our peaceful mission to break the siege on Gaza and stand in solidarity with its people continues with determination and resolve,” the Global Sumud Flotilla said in a statement released after the drone strike.

The organization did not provide further details on who may have been responsible for the strike.

It said the incident remains under investigation, and that additional updates would be shared when available.

The flotilla’s route from Barcelona to Gaza was already subject to heightened scrutiny by regional authorities.

This latest development added to tensions surrounding the group’s efforts, with video evidence of the attack circulating widely on social media.

At present, the Family Boat remains in Tunisian waters following the strike.

Organizers have not said whether repairs will be undertaken to allow the vessel to continue toward Gaza. The Global Sumud Flotilla reaffirmed its intent to move forward with the remaining boats in the mission.

The reported strike marks the most serious incident to affect the convoy since its departure.

Lawmakers and regional authorities are closely monitoring developments as questions remain about the origin of the drone and the broader implications for the flotilla’s mission.

Trump Praises D.C. Crime Drop, Urges Governors To Follow Bowser’s Lead

President Donald Trump is urging governors in Democrat-led states to request National Guard support for major cities struggling with crime, as his administration prepares to send additional federal law enforcement personnel to Chicago this week.

In a Monday Truth Social post, Trump pointed to Washington, D.C., as an example of success following his decision to federalize the district’s police force and National Guard under the Home Rule Act.

He credited cooperation with Mayor Muriel Bowser for the city’s decline in violent crime.

“Her statements and actions were positive, instead of others like Pritzker, Wes Moore, Newscum, and the 5% approval-rated Mayor of Chicago, who spend all of their time trying to justify violent Crime, instead of working with us to completely ELIMINATE it, which we have done in Washington, D.C., NOW A CRIME FREE ZONE,” Trump wrote.

“Wouldn’t it be nice to say that about Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and even the Crime Drenched City of Baltimore??? It can happen, and it can happen FAST! Work with us!!!”

Trump referenced Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson in his post.

The president further claimed that Bowser’s popularity had increased since cooperating with his administration.

“Mayor Bowser’s ratings have gone up, in a short period of time, 25%, and the people of D.C. are thanking her for stopping crime wherever she goes. It’s not a miracle, it’s hard work, courage, and being SMART,” Trump wrote.

Bowser’s current approval ratings remain steady, according to a recent Washington Post-Schar School poll, but crime data released last month showed significant decreases in violent offenses since the federal takeover.

Trump previously declared a public safety emergency in Washington, D.C., which allowed him to assume control of the Metropolitan Police Department and direct federal agencies to assist in crime reduction.

The move followed a similar federalization of the California National Guard in June after large-scale protests erupted over immigration enforcement raids. That decision is now being contested in court.

On Monday, Trump argued that early federal action in Los Angeles prevented larger disruptions during anti-ICE riots and protected the city’s ability to host future Olympic events.

“The top Law Enforcement Officer in L.A. said, during the riots, and when I sent the troops in early, that they couldn’t have done it without us,” Trump wrote.

“They were completely overwhelmed! If we hadn’t gone in early, on top of the Palisades plus fires, L.A. would have lost the Olympics.”

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed Sunday that additional resources are being directed to Chicago as part of ongoing immigration enforcement operations.

“We’ve already had ongoing operations with ICE in Chicago and throughout Illinois and other states, making sure that we’re upholding our laws, but we do intend to add more resources to those operations,” Noem said on CBS.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker criticized the Trump administration for moving forward without consulting state officials.

Meanwhile, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson signed an executive order last week instructing the Chicago Police Department not to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement efforts.

Despite opposition from state and city leaders, Trump has continued to emphasize that federal surges can produce immediate results.

He has vowed to expand similar operations to other cities if local governments decline to act.

Republicans Are Going to Lose Everything This November, Unless…: Scott Presler

Conservative activist Scott Presler issued a stark warning to Republicans this week, cautioning that the party is on track to lose major elections this November unless it fully embraces early and mail-in voting strategies.

In a video message posted on August 29, Presler urged Republicans to act immediately, pointing to upcoming gubernatorial races in Virginia and New Jersey, as well as judicial elections in Pennsylvania.

He said that failure to adapt could cement Democratic control for years to come.

“Hey everybody. This is Scott Pressler. Not here to bring you a happy video. I’m here to give you a dose of reality. It’s August 29 I want you to bookmark this. You time stamp this right now. It’s after 2am and I’m out walking my six miles, as I do every single day, and I’m here to tell you, Republicans are going to lose everything this November, unless we change things and quickly,” Presler said.

He specifically warned about the impact on key states.

“You’re going to lose the governorship in Virginia, and you’re going to have a Democrat, you’re going to lose the governorship in New Jersey, and you’re going to have Mikey, Cheryl Murphy, 2.0 and then Pennsylvania, where we have been working tirelessly, non stop, even since the election. We’re on the verge of having three Democrat Supreme Court justices retained until 2035,” Presler added.

Presler emphasized that relying solely on Election Day turnout is a losing strategy.

“Republicans, I hate to say it, and I love you, but I’m be honest, you are absolutely clueless, and it’s not just the leadership at the top, but I have to say to our voters, if you are only planning to vote on election day, on Tuesday, November 4, consider the elections gone over game over, you’ve already lost if you do not engage in early voting, whether in person or in Pennsylvania, the convoluted in person on demand mail and voting, and if you don’t request a mail in ballot, you are going to lose everything,” he said.

Presler pointed to past elections as examples of logistical problems that hurt Republicans.

“In 2022 the machines went down on election day in Arizona, and we have Katie Hobbs, wonderful in Nevada, we lost an election by 8000 votes because it snowed on election day. And Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, we have John Fetterman today, in part because they ran out of paper on election day. And if Republicans do not learn from history, we are undoubtedly going to repeat the same mistakes and then wonder why,” he warned.

He noted that while some have criticized his efforts, he continues to organize staff and register voters across key battlegrounds.

“There has been a contingency of people attacking me for trying to do everything in my power to get Republicans elected into office. And none of these people have talked about Winsome Sears for governor in Virginia. None of these people have talked about Jack Chatterelli for New Jersey governor, and none of these people have talked about voting no to retention, to Democrats, Dougherty, Donahue and Wet. And it really it makes me wonder these people that are attacking me while I’m a gentleman that started an organization with 25 full time staff on the ground in Pennsylvania, I have 14 full time staff on the ground in New Jersey. And even meanwhile being on the ground, going from the York State Fair to register voters to the Crawford County Fair to register voters, to the Center County Fair to register voters, to the GDS fair to register voters, and I’m going to Lucerne County Fair as well,” he said.

Presler also highlighted his personal commitment to the cause.

“Even having the ability and the diligence and the dedication and determination to lose 45 pounds while doing everything else that I do, it really makes me wonder. A, what are these people doing and B, why aren’t they doing everything in their power to elect Republicans in office instead of attacking our own with friendly fire?”

He closed with a direct message to GOP voters and activists.

“Take that as you will, but you hear me loudly. You hear me clearly, and you hear me once for all. Republicans, if you do not embrace early voting and mail in voting for the upcoming Tuesday, November 4, 2025 election, you will lose everything, and that’s going to set us up for failure in 2026 if you were loyal to President Trump, if you were loyal to keeping the house, if you were loyal to keeping the Senate, then you do everything in your power to elect Republicans and Pa VA and NJ, this November. If I can do everything that I can do, then I need y’all to step up. I need y’all to do more. You have 66 days to make a change and make a difference. Who’s going to help?”

Presler’s warning comes with just over two months until Election Day, underscoring his push for Republicans to adapt quickly to voting realities in order to avoid long-term setbacks.

Jennings Fact-Checks Democrat Live on Air and He Can’t Answer the Question

CNN senior political commentator Scott Jennings confronted former Democratic New York mayoral candidate Michael Blake during a Thursday segment, pointing out that the affordability crisis began under the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris administration.

The exchange took place after Blake argued that Democratic Iowa state Sen.-elect Catelin Drey’s victory in a recent special election showed that Republicans have failed to provide a clear policy plan to make life more affordable for Americans.

Blake claimed this inability to articulate solutions helped lead to the Democratic win.

Jennings countered by saying it was ironic for Democrats to highlight affordability concerns when inflation reached its highest levels during Biden’s presidency.

“Well it doesn’t make me very nervous to hear Democrats, with a straight face, looking into a television camera and saying ‘boy, how did we get to this affordability crisis’ given that we all know how we got there over the last four years,” Jennings said.

Blake responded by blaming President Donald Trump for inflation during Biden’s time in office.

Jennings pressed him on the claim, asking, “So you’re saying we had no affordability crisis during the Biden years? Where did the inflation come from?”

Blake argued that inflation has increased under “every Republican presidency,” but did not directly address the surge seen while Biden was in office.

During Biden’s presidency, inflation rose by more than 20 percent.

Annual inflation climbed from 1.4 percent at the start of his term to a peak of 9.1 percent in June 2022, the highest annual rate recorded since 1981.

Inflation did not drop below 3 percent until July 2024, marking the first time in two years that the rate had reached that level.

Economists attributed the rapid rise in inflation to federal spending bills signed into law by Biden, including the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan and the $750 billion Inflation Reduction Act.

Both measures were enacted early in his presidency and drew criticism from opponents who argued that the level of government spending would destabilize the economy.

In contrast, inflation has eased during Trump’s second term in office. Recent reports show rates coming in lower than expected.

In May, inflation dropped to its lowest point since March 2021.

The cost of consumer goods has reflected the decline. According to Trading Economics, the average price of eggs has fallen from a high of $8.20 in March to $2.13 as of Thursday.

The average price of gasoline, which reached record levels during Biden’s term, currently stands at $3.21 nationwide, according to AAA.

Despite the exchange on economic issues, Jennings noted that Democrats often perform better in special elections.

He argued that Drey’s win followed an established trend.

“It’s absolutely true. Democrats now have more voters who are regular voters in non-traditional elections. Specials, off-year, what have you. That’s absolutely true, and so you’ve seen a pattern of Democrats doing better in these elections that don’t happen outside of a regular occurrence,” Jennings said.

The back-and-forth underscored how economic conditions and inflation remain central to political debates as Republicans and Democrats continue to spar over which party’s policies best address affordability for American families.

Democrat-Linked Judge Sparks Outrage After Freeing Human Trafficking Suspect

U.S. Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes is under scrutiny following her decision to release Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national accused of human trafficking and suspected of MS-13 gang ties.

The ruling came Friday, when Holmes rejected a government request to keep Abrego Garcia in federal custody ahead of trial.

Abrego Garcia was initially arrested in 2022 in Tennessee while driving a vehicle registered to a convicted human trafficker, flagged by the Department of Homeland Security.

Several illegal aliens from South and Central America were passengers in the vehicle at the time. According to court filings, Abrego Garcia, who resides in Maryland, told authorities he was transporting the individuals from Houston, Texas, to Maryland for work.

The case drew further attention during a June hearing, when Judge Holmes sustained an objection limiting witness testimony about Abrego Garcia’s alleged sexual relationships with women, including minors, who were reportedly among those he was helping to smuggle into the United States.

The decision to release Abrego Garcia has placed Judge Holmes’ background and affiliations under renewed scrutiny.

According to Breitbart News, campaign finance records show that between 1993 and 2007 she contributed $750 to Democratic candidates, including $250 to Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign.

Holmes has a lengthy record of professional involvement in legal organizations.

She was president of the Nashville Bar Association in 2002 and served multiple terms on its board of directors.

After her appointment as magistrate judge in 2015, she continued to play a role in legal associations, including serving as Judges Chair for the Legal Aid Society’s 2018 Campaign for Equal Justice.

The Legal Aid Society, particularly its New York branch, has promoted diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and provided legal representation for illegal aliens.

The group once featured a webpage highlighting its commitment to “fighting for racial equality,” alongside imagery from the George Floyd protests.

In October 2021, Holmes organized the National Association of Women Judges’ 43rd annual meeting, which featured groups such as the “Song Suffragettes.”

In a 2017 profile naming her an outstanding alumna of Adams State University, Holmes said she was “inspired by the new citizens I meet during naturalization ceremonies, by their determination, and especially by their appreciation for things that we too often take for granted, like the privileges of citizenship.”

Records reviewed by Breitbart also show Holmes is registered as an unaffiliated voter in Nashville, Tennessee.

Voting records suggest she has participated in both Republican and Democratic primaries.

Holmes’ decision has been compared to previous cases involving judges perceived as aligned with Democratic Party causes.

U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, for example, presided over multiple high-profile cases that sought to block actions by the Trump administration during the early weeks of his second term.

Boasberg later spoke at a judicial conference where he discussed efforts to counter the administration and called on Chief Justice John Roberts for support.

Abrego Garcia’s release comes as debates intensify over the handling of human trafficking and illegal immigration cases.

While federal prosecutors pushed for pre-trial detention citing flight risk and danger to the community, Holmes determined that conditions such as monitoring and restrictions were sufficient.

The decision has triggered questions about judicial discretion, especially in cases involving illegal aliens accused of serious crimes.

The case against Abrego Garcia remains ongoing, and his release has further fueled discussion over how federal courts are handling immigration-related prosecutions at a time of heightened national concern over border security and public safety.

Unhinged Woman Goes on Wild Rampage, Kicks Agent, Smashes Computer at Orlando Airport

A woman caused a scene at Orlando International Airport last week after missing several flights, attacking a Southwest Airlines gate agent and damaging equipment in front of shocked travelers.

The incident occurred Thursday when the unidentified passenger attempted to board multiple standby flights but failed to make the list, according to witness Peyton Turberville, who filmed the confrontation and shared details with Storyful.

“She tried to get in through the gate after it closed and they asked her to stop,” Turberville said.

Video from the scene shows the woman shouting “Are you kidding me?” at a Southwest employee in a pink shirt behind the gate desk. The agent can be seen asking her to step back as she continues to yell. Moments later, she kicks him.

“Ooh that’s assault,” Turberville is heard saying while recording the incident.

The passenger then paces around the gate area, speaking incoherently, before returning to the counter and slamming her hand onto a computer. Witnesses can be heard gasping as the screen shakes.

“Two flights wasted! Three planes! After 45 minutes!” she shouted.

The employee moved away from the desk as the situation escalated. The woman, still visibly angry, urged onlookers to “call the police” while continuing to argue.

Returning again to the counter, she wound up and punched the computer monitor, knocking it from its stand and onto the desk. She then followed the gate agent around as he tried to avoid further confrontation before eventually walking away from the area.

The footage shows bystanders stunned by the display, with some recording on their phones.

It is not clear whether the woman was taken into custody or if charges have been filed. Southwest Airlines and Orlando International Airport have not released statements regarding the incident.

The video quickly circulated online, drawing widespread attention due to the intensity of the outburst and the physical attack on the airline employee. Witnesses described the scene as chaotic and disruptive, as the gate area was crowded with passengers preparing for flights.

Law enforcement response to the episode has not yet been confirmed, and the identity of the passenger has not been disclosed.

The disturbance at the Orlando terminal adds to a growing list of high-profile confrontations between passengers and airline staff in recent years, with authorities and airlines emphasizing that unruly behavior can result in serious legal consequences, including arrest and federal charges.

‘The Democratic Party Is Dead’: Former CNN Anchor Chris Cuomo

Chris Cuomo assessed the state of the Democratic Party during an interview with Benny Johnson on his podcast, delivering a blunt conclusion: “The Democratic Party is dead.”

Cuomo said his view is shaped by family experience and a political upbringing that no longer matches what he sees from party leaders today.

“My brother’s a Democrat. I don’t know why, but he is. Uh, my father was a Democrat. I know exactly why he was, but his party doesn’t exist anymore,” Cuomo said.

“And while I had disagreements with my father about different issues, I knew what principles were guiding him.”

He contrasted his father’s era with the present, describing a platform that he said centered on protecting ordinary people while keeping government limited.

“My father’s battle was against trickle-down economics and Reagan Republicanism,” he explained.

“The Democratic Party that he fought for and the Republican Party that he fought against — neither exists anymore.”

He characterized his father’s party as one that told voters: “Take care of the little guy, take care of the little guy, take care of the little guy. Stay out of our bedroom. Stay out of my heart. Just do all the government we need, but only the government we need. And we’re a secular society. Don’t put anything else on me.”

Cuomo added that the version of the party he remembered embraced market opportunity while supporting essential public services.

He said it was “a capitalism that offered opportunity in a free market,” and not an embrace of socialism, while still backing education and entitlements.

“No Democrat ever argued for anything else. No Democrat would’ve argued for open borders. You know — none of this. My father would’ve done none of this,” he said.

According to Cuomo, political roles have shifted since his father’s time. He argued that cultural gatekeeping has become a defining feature on the left, while Republicans now draw support from voters who feel overlooked by elites.

He said the parties “flipped in terms of their operative animus and their constituencies out of convenience and time.”

Cuomo also reflected on his family’s immigrant experience to explain why he believes a freer market once defined his father’s politics.

“So, my father’s party is no more,” he said.

“He believed that the opportunity to be part of a free market was exactly why his parents — illiterate, okay? Uh, unsophisticated, untrained except, uh, with a heart, you know, three sizes too big, filled with ambition and dreams, [came here], to be able to compete, you know? Without some feudal system on your head in rural Italy, where they were telling you who you could be and how you could be. [They believed that] was worth everything.”

Turning to the current media and political climate, Cuomo expressed frustration with what he described as a cycle that rewards provocation over accountability.

“Today, it’s all provocative bullsh*t all the time. No responsibility. No accountability. You just move on to the next. And it gets us views, it gets us clicks, but it’s not getting us to a better place,” he said.

Cuomo’s remarks, delivered during the podcast conversation, framed his view that the party he grew up with has changed in both priorities and tone.

He tied that shift to a broader realignment in which traditional labels and constituencies no longer match the politics he remembers, while emphasizing that the principles he associated with his father’s era—limited government, individual freedom in private life, and a focus on “the little guy”—are not what he sees in the party today.

Hillary Clinton’s Law License Targeted Amid Ethics Complaint Over Role in Russia Collusion

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is facing a new ethics complaint targeting her law license in Arkansas, as reported by Fox News.

The government watchdog group Democracy Restored filed the complaint this week, urging the Arkansas state bar to review whether Clinton’s actions during the 2016 presidential campaign violated the state’s rules of professional conduct.

The complaint cites the Arkansas Rules of Professional Conduct relating to “Dishonesty” and “Prejudice to the Administration of Justice,” calling for a formal review of Clinton’s ability to practice law in the state.

SCRANTON, PENNSYLVANIA/USA – AUGUST 15, 2016: Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton appears during a rally alongside Vice President Joe Biden on Aug. 15, 2016, in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

It points to declassified documents released by the Senate Judiciary Committee that shed more light on Clinton’s role in promoting the Russia collusion allegations against President Donald Trump.

According to the complaint, a declassified annex suggests that Clinton approved a plan created by an advisor to spread false information designed “to smear” Trump and divert attention from legal scrutiny she was facing at the time.

The watchdog group said this revelation demands a long-overdue inquiry into her status as a licensed attorney.

The filing outlines Clinton’s connections to opposition research that began in April 2016, including the use of unverified and unvetted information that was elevated to federal investigators and the media.

It also cites recently released records alleging that Clinton personally approved an effort to amplify what it described as “bad intelligence” during the campaign.

NEW YORK, N.Y. – November 3, 2022: Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton addresses a campaign rally at Barnard College in New York City.

“If there is one political scandal synonymous with the 2016 election, it is Operation Crossfire Hurricane,” a Democracy Restored director told Fox News Digital.

“Former Secretary Clinton’s utilization of a bunk dossier by a foreign ex-spy to harm a political opponent violates basic ethical norms as well as the Arkansas bar’s own rules of conduct for attorneys. The Arkansas bar needs to take a serious look at former Secretary Clinton’s involvement in this scandal and take appropriate action.”

The complaint acknowledges that no criminal charges have been filed against Clinton. However, Democracy Restored noted that the American Bar Association rules require lawyers to be held to higher standards, even without criminal charges.

The group said that recently released records have raised the prospect of a renewed federal investigation into Clinton’s conduct.

A spokesperson for the Arkansas Supreme Court Office of Professional Conduct confirmed to Fox News Digital that the grievance was received on Wednesday and “will be processed as all complaints are.”

This development comes amid broader fallout from the Russia collusion narrative.

Just a day earlier, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard revoked the security clearances of 37 current and former intelligence officials, accusing them of politicizing and manipulating intelligence during the Trump administration.

A DNI memo circulated Monday included the names of individuals from the CIA, NSA, State Department, and National Security Council.

Among them was former Obama-era DNI James Clapper, whom Gabbard accused of instructing officials to “compromise” standard procedures in order to rush a 2017 intelligence assessment about Russia’s activities in the 2016 election.

“Being entrusted with a security clearance is a privilege, not a right,” Gabbard wrote in a post on X.

“Those in the Intelligence Community who betray their oath to the Constitution and put their own interests ahead of the interests of the American people have broken the sacred trust they promised to uphold.”

The Arkansas bar review of Clinton’s law license is expected to move forward in the coming weeks as part of the formal complaint process.

Alleged Bravo Star Triggered, Tells Trump Supporters to Take Their Fat A**es to Cracker Barrel

Former Bravo reality television personality Jennifer Welch is facing backlash after calling for supporters of President Donald Trump to be barred from dining at Mexican, Chinese, and Indian restaurants in the United States.

Welch made the remarks on her “I’ve Had It” podcast in a profanity-filled episode targeting white voters who back Trump’s border and immigration policies.

“I’ve had it with white people that triple Trumped that have the nerve and the audacity to walk into a Mexican restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, an Indian restaurant, go to a gay hairdresser,” Welch said during the episode.

The phrase “triple Trump,” as used by Welch, refers to individuals who support what critics allege are the president’s positions against immigration, diversity, and LGBTQ rights.

“If you want to triple Trump, if you want to brow beat DEI, if you want to brow beat gay people, you want to brow beat black people as you have been doing for hundreds of years… White people that triple Trumped should be boycotted, banned from enjoying the best thing that America has to offer, which is multiculturalism,” Welch continued.

She then took aim at their dining preferences. “Get your fat asses out of the Mexican restaurant. Get your fat asses over at a Cracker Barrel because nobody wants to see your f–ing smug ass, teeny weeny pink arm, big gut around,” she said.

“Nobody wants to see that sh-t, no one,” she added.

The comments prompted swift criticism online, with social media users accusing Welch of hypocrisy and intolerance. Clips of her remarks spread quickly across multiple platforms, with many saying her statements revealed the same kind of discrimination she claimed to oppose.

“It’s always the most intolerant and hateful pretending to love everyone,” one user commented.

“What a pompous, arrogant thing to say,” another wrote.

“She is what’s wrong with this country,” a third person stated.

Others responded with sarcasm. “Uber Karen. I voted for Trump and I’m having a burrito with chorizo and spinach dip for lunch today,” one commenter posted.

Welch, a mother of two, gained national attention as the star of Bravo’s reality series “Sweet Home,” which followed her work as the owner of a luxury interior design business. Since her time on television, she has continued to work in the design industry while co-hosting her podcast.

Her recent remarks, however, have drawn widespread condemnation, with critics pointing to her singling out of Trump supporters for exclusion from certain restaurants as an example of political division spilling into daily life.

The controversy surrounding Welch’s comments underscores the ongoing tensions over politics, culture, and public discourse in the United States, particularly when celebrity figures take public positions on contentious issues.
