Biden Handler’s Hot Mic Moment Adds Evidence to Cognitive Decline ‘Debate’

Joe Biden was caught on a hot mic Friday evening being directed by a staff member immediately after speaking at the Nebraska Democratic Party’s “Ben Nelson Gala” in Omaha.

Biden delivered remarks at the annual fundraising event, where he criticized President Donald Trump and commented on this week’s election results.

During his speech, Biden claimed that voters had sent a message to the Trump administration.

“You work for us, Mr. President!” Biden shouted from the stage.

“We don’t work for you! You work for us! Not just billionaires and millionaires!”

He continued by declaring, “This is a democracy and the fact of the matter is there are no kings in democracies.”

After finishing his remarks, Biden appeared to begin leaving the stage before being stopped by a staff member who instructed him to remain.

The exchange was captured on a live microphone and quickly circulated online.

“You’re going to stay on stage,” the staffer was heard saying as she approached him.

“I am? Oh,” Biden responded.

The staff member then directed him toward a different exit, saying, “You’re going out by the side.”

“Oh, alright,” Biden replied before being escorted away.

The moment drew attention on social media, where clips of the exchange were widely shared by reporters and commentators.

The footage appeared to show Biden momentarily confused about where to go after completing his speech, prompting immediate assistance from his handler.

Biden’s appearance at the Omaha event marked one of his few recent public outings since leaving office.

Biden has maintained a relatively limited public schedule, occasionally delivering speeches to Democratic audiences and advocacy groups.

The “Ben Nelson Gala,” named after the former Nebraska senator and governor, is a key annual event for state Democrats.

The dinner, held at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, drew elected officials, local candidates, and party activists.

Biden’s speech focused largely on themes of economic inequality and his continued criticism of President Trump’s policies.

While Biden received applause for portions of his speech, it was the post-event exchange that dominated coverage afterward.

Political observers noted that such moments have become increasingly frequent during Biden’s public appearances, often prompting renewed scrutiny of his interactions with aides and event staff.

The hot mic clip was shared by multiple media outlets following the event.

It shows Biden briefly standing near the podium before the staffer steps in to guide him.

The exchange lasted less than 10 seconds but was picked up clearly by microphones still active from the event’s live broadcast.

The Omaha appearance was part of a weekend lineup of Democratic events in the Midwest, where party leaders are preparing for upcoming state and local races.

House Democrats Caught Spreading False Video to Smear ICE Agents

The Department of Homeland Security issued a detailed rebuttal Friday after House Homeland Security Committee Democrats reposted and amplified a misleading video that misrepresented an ICE enforcement operation in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

The committee’s official account on X accused DHS of dishonesty, writing, “DHS will lie. They always do,” while sharing footage of the arrest.

The video, which circulated widely on social media, appeared to show a man having a medical seizure as ICE agents arrested his wife.

According to DHS officials, the footage was manipulated to create a false narrative portraying agents as abusive.

The department said the claim was untrue and that the man had faked the episode during the arrest of his wife, an Ecuadorian national wanted for a violent stabbing.

Officials also warned that the misinformation spread by lawmakers had fueled antisemitic threats and violent rhetoric targeting ICE agents.

The incident occurred Thursday when ICE officers conducted a targeted enforcement action to arrest Juliana Milena-Ojeda-Montoya, a 27-year-old Ecuadorian national.

DHS Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin said Ojeda-Montoya entered the United States illegally near Lukeville, Arizona, in 2023 and was later released into the country under Biden-Harris administration policies.

ICE officers sought her arrest following a criminal case in which she allegedly stabbed a coworker multiple times with scissors and threw a trash can at the victim in August.

McLaughlin said Ojeda-Montoya’s toddler was seated on her lap inside a vehicle during the arrest, not secured in a car seat as required by law.

When agents approached, Ojeda-Montoya refused to hand the child to her husband, identified by DHS as another illegal alien.

As agents attempted to take her into custody, the man began to shake and pretend to have a seizure, McLaughlin said.

Witnesses who gathered at the scene began shouting obscenities and threats at the officers. ICE requested assistance from the Fitchburg Police Department to maintain order.

According to a DHS press statement, individuals in the crowd yelled antisemitic slurs and violent threats, including “You probably support Israel too,” “You look like a Jew,” and “We’re going to kill you and your kids.”

DHS officials said several threats referenced the officers’ perceived religion and families.

The Fitchburg Police Department later issued a statement confirming that its officers responded to assist ICE agents in keeping the peace.

“The role of the Fitchburg Police Department in this type of situation is to keep the peace,” the department said.

“Keeping the peace includes making sure both the public as a whole as well as the federal law enforcement agents are safe.”

Medical personnel were called to assess the man who appeared to suffer the seizure, but DHS said emergency responders found no evidence of a medical crisis.

The man refused treatment and was released at the scene along with his toddler.

Ojeda-Montoya was taken into custody without injury and transported to the Cumberland County Jail in Scarborough, Maine, where she remains pending immigration removal proceedings.

DHS condemned the social media post by House Democrats as a deliberate misrepresentation of the facts and said the agency would continue to defend its officers against false accusations.

McLaughlin said spreading misinformation about targeted enforcement actions undermines public trust and puts federal agents at risk.

She emphasized that the operation was conducted lawfully and that agents followed all procedures to ensure the safety of the child and the public.

Ojeda-Montoya faces removal from the United States following her criminal case.

ICE said the enforcement action was part of ongoing efforts to locate and detain individuals who have committed violent crimes after entering the country illegally.

Hollywood Wife Manhandles Car Intruder, Tosses Him Like Ragdoll as Husband Watches

Surveillance footage from a Hollywood gas station captured the moment a woman pulled a male intruder out of her car and threw him to the ground while her husband stood nearby in disbelief, as reported by The Blaze.

The incident took place Tuesday evening, when Star Carter was sitting in the driver’s seat of her red Alfa Romeo at a gas station while her husband, Michael Carter, was on the other side of the vehicle pumping gas.

According to KCBS-TV, a male suspect approached the passenger side of the car and attempted to open the door.

“I stood up and was like, ‘Get outta here!’ and then I walked around this way,” Michael told the outlet, demonstrating how he moved toward the passenger side to confront the man.

As the couple believed the situation had de-escalated, the suspect circled back around the car, opened the rear driver-side door, and climbed into the back seat.

“I’m wrestling with him inside the car,” Michael said. “I’m kinda pushing him and pushing him, and all I know is he just disappeared.”

That’s when Star, who had exited the car, took control of the situation. Video footage shows her ripping the intruder out of the vehicle and throwing him onto the pavement in one swift motion.

“I don’t condone violence, but I do condone self-defense,” Star told KCBS, explaining her instinctive reaction.

Star said she wasn’t thinking of anything specific in the moment except for a verse from a Kendrick Lamar song.

“It was just like that Kendrick Lamar verse [from ‘Peekaboo’] was playing in my head, you know like:

‘Bing bop boom bop boom bop bam!’”

Laughing, she added, “That’s all I remember. I’m so embarrassed.”

After being thrown to the ground, the intruder quickly got up and ran away. Before he fled, Star had some parting words for him: “I just said, ‘Don’t you ever do no stupid [word redacted] like this again!’”

The Carters continued their evening as planned, attending a comedy show at the Hollywood Improv later that night. Their daughter told KCBS she wasn’t surprised by her mother’s reaction.

“My mommy, she was in like fight or flight — but she definitely fought, and he definitely took flight,” she said.

Star told reporters she believed the suspect was under the influence of drugs during the incident. “I don’t know what this dude is capable of doing at all,” she said.

Her husband, still impressed, called his wife a hero. “She is indeed my hero,” Michael said with a laugh. “Thank you, Star!”

Police are still searching for the suspect. No injuries were reported.

Former NFL QB Mark Sanchez Fired by Fox Sports Following Bizarre Indianapolis Stabbing

Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez, 38, has been terminated by Fox Sports one month after being involved in a stabbing incident in downtown Indianapolis that led to his arrest on multiple charges, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Police say Sanchez was in Indianapolis in early October to call the Raiders-Colts game when he became involved in a violent altercation that ended with both men hospitalized.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) confirmed that Sanchez was arrested while being treated at the hospital for battery with injury, unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, and public intoxication—all misdemeanor offenses.

He was later charged with felony battery as the investigation developed.

According to Fox 59 Indianapolis, responding officers located two injured individuals at the scene, including one man suffering from stab wounds and another with injuries consistent with a physical fight. Police said one victim was in critical condition, while the other was “awake and breathing.”

Authorities identified the other man as a 69-year-old grease truck driver, who was hospitalized with serious injuries, including a deep laceration to his face. A photo released to local media showed a wound extending across his cheek with visible blood.

Investigators believe the altercation began when Sanchez allegedly attacked the driver during an argument. The driver reportedly defended himself, stabbing Sanchez multiple times in the upper torso before police arrived.

Sanchez was taken to a local hospital in critical condition but later stabilized. He was arrested in his hospital bed and charged with multiple offenses.

In a statement issued last month, Fox Sports said:

“Mark Sanchez was injured in Indianapolis on Saturday and is currently recovering in the hospital in stable condition. We are deeply grateful to the medical team for their exceptional care and support. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark, and we ask that everyone please respect his and his family’s privacy during this time.”

However, TMZ Sports reported this week that Fox Sports has officially cut ties with Sanchez. “We can confirm that Mark Sanchez is no longer with the network. There will be no further comment at this time,” a Fox Sports spokesperson said.

The former quarterback’s firing ends his five-year stint as a game analyst for the network, where he had covered NFL matchups since joining in 2019.

Sanchez, who was drafted by the New York Jets in 2009, played eight seasons in the NFL, also spending time with the Eagles, Cowboys, and Washington Commanders before transitioning to broadcasting.

The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office has not yet announced a trial date, but Sanchez could face several years in prison if convicted of the charges against him. The investigation remains active.

Leaked Documents Exposed Democratic Socialist Plans to Control Zohran Mamdani

Internal planning documents from the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) show the organization intends to exert direct influence over New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s administration, pushing for a sweeping agenda that combines socialist economic priorities with anti-Israel measures.

The file, obtained by Just the News and titled AWWG Palestine Policy Meeting Agenda & Notes (November 2, 2025), outlines a detailed strategy from DSA’s Anti-War Working Group (AWWG).

The document includes instructions to “make the terms clear going in,” emphasizing that elected officials must adhere to DSA priorities in exchange for organizational support.

“Make it clear to electeds that if they want our support, our priorities matter,” the document states.

It calls for a public statement from Mamdani’s administration “on 1st day,” while advising supporters to focus on concrete actions rather than press statements.

The strategy outlines a series of policy demands tied to the DSA’s anti-Israel platform.

Among them are directives for New York City to divest pension funds from Israeli bonds, pull deposits from banks doing business with Israel, and cancel contracts with Israeli-linked companies.

The document further calls for banning Israeli products from city-owned grocery stores, revoking nonprofit status from organizations that support the Israel Defense Forces, dismantling the NYC–Israel Economic Council formed under former Mayor Eric Adams, and ending NYPD cooperation with the Israeli military.

It even suggests that the city “arrest Benjamin Netanyahu and IDF officials” for alleged war crimes.

The notes also indicate a plan to pressure Mamdani into hiring staff aligned with DSA’s ideology and coordinating his administration’s agenda with the organization’s leadership.

“Provide a plan for him to implement,” one section reads.

“Pressure him to staff with people whose values are aligned.”

Documents reviewed by Just the News show that these expectations are consistent with national DSA practices.

Endorsement questionnaires from DSA chapters in Seattle and Washington, D.C., contain similar requirements, effectively binding candidates to the movement’s positions once elected.

In 2019, a Seattle DSA questionnaire required candidates to support the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel, oppose “imperialist foreign policy,” and end police partnerships with the Israeli Defense Forces.

A 2024 questionnaire from the Metro DC DSA went further, requiring candidates to refuse ties with groups such as AIPAC and J Street, endorse BDS, and reject adoption of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s definition of antisemitism because it “harms Palestinians.”

The Metro DC DSA also demanded that endorsed officials regularly attend meetings with its “Socialists in Office” committee to maintain compliance with DSA policy goals.

Candidates were required to back legislation that defunds and sanctions Israel and to avoid any contact with organizations that support U.S.-Israel cooperation.

Beyond foreign policy, the documents include domestic priorities such as open-border immigration policies and the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

DSA-aligned candidates must support making their jurisdictions sanctuaries for illegal aliens, guaranteeing benefits for all residents regardless of immigration status, and ending local cooperation with federal enforcement.

The organization’s platform on gender and reproductive issues, outlined by its Metro DC Bodily Autonomy Working Group, calls for unrestricted abortion access, universal gender-affirming healthcare “including for minors,” and the decriminalization of sex work.

Candidates are instructed to oppose any religious exemptions to anti-discrimination laws and to endorse what DSA describes as the “democratization of care work.”

The DSA’s approach has raised concerns about elected officials being used to advance activist agendas rather than representing their constituents.

Activist Linda Sarsour, a DSA member and ally of Mamdani, said during a livestream that “electing Zohran doesn’t mean we’re going to let him do whatever the hell he wants.”

The AWWG notes reflect that same stance, describing a framework in which elected officials operate under continued oversight from DSA activists.

The AWWG plan also highlights the organization’s effort to embed anti-Israel policies within city governance.

The document calls for boycotts of Israeli businesses, the revocation of charitable status for groups supporting Israel, and criminal penalties for entities that maintain partnerships with Israeli institutions.

These ideas have already appeared in public demonstrations. On October 8, 2023, while Hamas was still carrying out attacks on Israeli civilians, the New York City DSA organized a rally in Times Square where participants burned Israeli flags and displayed symbols associated with antisemitism.

The leaked planning documents suggest that DSA’s strategy for Mamdani’s administration is designed to merge local policymaking with international activism, using city government as a platform for advancing the organization’s national and global ideological goals.

Newsmax Host Drops Bombs On Air: ‘Liberal White Women Are the Biggest Threat to America’

Newsmax host Carl Higbie delivered a blistering critique of Democrats and establishment Republicans, warning viewers to take stock of what he described as liberal-run “pilot programs” in states like New York, New Jersey, and Virginia.

“Just take a snapshot of where we are right now, Virginia, New Jersey, especially New York,” Higbie said.

“Take a mental note of the state of these places. Not great to begin with, but in one year from now, though, when you go to the polls in any state in the midterms, you vote on whether or not you want the rest of the country to look like what they currently do at that time. Because I guarantee you it ain’t going to be good. These areas are the pilot programs of what Democrats want for every state.”

Higbie pointed to what he called a rapid political shift in the Democratic Party, saying, “Think about this Cuomo, who, five years ago, was like a far left, anti-Trump liberal, and this cycle became the moderate option, backed by Trump, even without changing a single position. That’s how radical the left has become.”

He criticized Democratic officials and candidates, citing what he viewed as extremist behavior and rhetoric.

“Democrats also overwhelmingly just elected a dude for attorney general… who is widely known before the election for wanting to shoot his political opponent and watch his kids die in their mother’s arms. Sweet,” Higbie said, blasting what he called a complete lack of moral standards on the left.

“There is no moral fiber on the left at all, and that includes anyone who voted for them, by the way, yep, generalization, right there. Take it.”

Higbie also turned his fire toward what he described as complacency within the Republican Party.

“If you don’t know, maybe you should step aside from the leadership of the Republican Party forever. There’s the door,” he said, accusing GOP leaders of ignoring decades of Democratic influence in education.

“Democrats, for the last 30 years, have been indoctrinating our schools, teaching kids it so shows it is good, and all Republican values are terrible.”

He praised Texas for taking constitutional steps to secure parental authority in education, calling it the “model for the new Republican Party.”

Addressing voter trends, Higbie cited data showing overwhelming support for left-wing candidates among younger voters.

“68% of men under 30 voted for ma’am Danny. I don’t know where their testosterone went. With 84% of women under 30 also voting for him,” he said.

“They played the long game, 30 years.”

He went on to criticize the cultural and political influence of what he termed “liberal white women,” arguing that left-wing ideology has driven women to vote “on emotion and not policy.”

“This is why I hate liberal women,” Higbie said.

“This is why I say liberal white women are the biggest threat to America. They will literally vote for their own destruction and take everyone down with them.”

Higbie tied immigration policy to what he called a long-term Democratic strategy to alter voting demographics.

“Democrat policies are so awful. I mean, they are so crappy that they have to import their voters,” he said.

“83% of New Yorkers who have been here for less than five years voted for ma’am Danny. 76%… have been here less than 10 years. Only 34% of people born in and around New York City cast a ballot for the Ugandan socialist.”

He rejected calls to soften immigration enforcement, saying, “You shut up and leave the party. We do not need to let up on that unless you want another 83% of people voting for Democrats. Get them out.”

Higbie warned that “rhino Republicans” had helped Democrats secure victories by prioritizing image and civility over results.

“Do not let them come back up for air,” he said.

“Republicans got shellacked in my hometown last night. Seats that we have been held… for the last 100 years.”

Despite his frustration, Higbie said the political losses could present an opportunity.

“This presents us a very unique opportunity to absolutely crush these people in the next election, if, if Republicans can dislodge our own head from our rear end,” he said.

“You tie them to every single Democrat in these midterms… you need to fight this fight.”

He closed the segment by urging Americans to resist bringing failed liberal policies into conservative states.

“Do not come to red states and vote for the same stupid stuff that made you leave,” Higbie said.

“But I will leave you with this — Trump still your president.”

Even the Left’s Favorite Comedian Says Democrats Are Falling Apart

Comedian Jon Stewart said Thursday that he believes the Democratic Party remains disorganized and directionless despite several major election victories earlier in the week.

Speaking on “The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart,” the comedian argued that Democrats have not successfully harnessed what he described as a growing “potential energy” in the country.

“I think the Democrats are still a mess. I truly believe they’re a mess just because what this shows to me is, again, there is this underlying potential energy within the United States of America that is much larger than I think any of us could have imagined,” Stewart said.

“And channeling the energy directionally will be the challenge for whoever wants to harness it. I still don’t believe they’re doing that.”

Stewart’s remarks followed Democratic victories in several high-profile races on Tuesday. New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, Virginia Gov.-elect Abigail Spanberger, and New Jersey Gov.-elect Mikie Sherrill all won their contests by comfortable margins, according to projections.

While the party performed well at the ballot box, polling continues to show widespread dissatisfaction among voters.

RealClearPolling’s national average placed the Democratic Party’s favorability at 33.4% leading into Election Day.

In addition, a New York Times analysis of voter registration records published in August found that the party had lost approximately 2.1 million registered voters since 2020.

Public sentiment toward Democrats in Congress has also declined sharply. A Quinnipiac University poll released July 16 reported that only 19% of voters approved of congressional Democrats — the lowest approval rating the polling organization has ever recorded for the group.

Independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders voiced similar concerns earlier this week on The New York Times’ “The Opinions” podcast.

He warned that the party’s long-term viability was uncertain if it continued to prioritize wealthy donors and political insiders over working-class voters.

“I think sometimes when people think about the Democratic Party, they think of these cocktail parties in New York City or LA, where wealthy people mingle with consultants, mingle with the leadership. That’s not much of a party,” Sanders said.

“That’s really kind of an elitist institution. So, one of the things that I believe — if the Democratic Party is to survive, maybe it will, maybe it won’t — the transformation has to be to open the doors, to bring in millions of people, to hear what they have to say, to have them start running for office, etc.”

Matt Bennett, co-founder of the liberal think tank Third Way, echoed that assessment during an appearance on “Next Up with Mark Halperin” in October.

He said the party would continue to struggle until it selected a presidential nominee capable of redefining its message.

“We’re in terrible shape. Like, we just have to be very honest with ourselves — the Democratic Party is in really, really bad shape,” Bennett said, referencing the party’s weak standing with voters.

“[T]he nominees and the presidents make the party brand, and for the next few years, we won’t have that. So it’s going to be a tough couple of years deep in the wilderness for us,” he added.

“And I think there are some things we can do to set the table for the nominee. But right now, I don’t feel like we’re doing it.”

Despite their recent electoral gains, the remarks from Stewart, Sanders, and Bennett highlight a recurring concern among Democrats — that the party’s internal divisions and loss of voter trust may pose long-term challenges heading into future elections.

Gavin Newsom’s Proposition 50 Ends Independent Redistricting in California

California voters have approved Proposition 50, a ballot measure that shifts the state’s congressional redistricting authority from an independent commission to the Democratic-controlled legislature and governor’s office.

The Associated Press called the race immediately after polls closed on Tuesday night, signaling a decisive victory for Democrats.

The measure, which passed comfortably, will allow state lawmakers to draw a new congressional map ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.

Supporters of Proposition 50, including Governor Gavin Newsom, argued that the change would modernize the state’s redistricting process. Critics, however, warned that the move dismantles nearly two decades of independent oversight intended to prevent partisan gerrymandering.

California currently has 52 U.S. House seats, of which 43 are held by Democrats.

Under the new process, projections indicate the state could gain up to five additional seats likely to favor Democrats once the revised boundaries are enacted.

Governor Newsom championed the measure as part of a broader package of electoral initiatives aimed at “streamlining government and expanding representation.”

His office celebrated the passage of Proposition 50 shortly after results were announced, calling it “a mandate from the people to move California forward.”

The state’s independent redistricting commission was established in 2008 through a voter-approved measure backed by reform groups and bipartisan coalitions.

The commission had been widely viewed as a national model for nonpartisan mapmaking, designed to prevent either major political party from manipulating district boundaries for advantage.

Proposition 50 effectively removes that safeguard, returning control to elected officials in Sacramento.

The campaign opposing Proposition 50 was largely financed by Charles Munger Jr., a longtime advocate for redistricting reform who helped fund the original effort to create the independent commission.

Munger expressed disappointment over Tuesday’s result but urged Californians to continue holding their leaders accountable.

“For what looms for the people of California, I am saddened by the passage of Proposition 50,” Munger said in a statement.

“But I am content in this, at least: that our campaign educated the people of California so they could make an informed, if, in my view, unwise, decision about such a technical but critical issue as redistricting reform, a decision forced to be made over such a very short time.”

Election analysts note that the approval of Proposition 50 marks a major change in California’s political landscape.

By transferring redistricting power back to the legislature, Democrats in Sacramento will now be able to reshape congressional boundaries without requiring bipartisan input.

The implications of the measure are expected to extend beyond state politics. National observers believe the new districts could strengthen Democratic control of California’s House delegation and help the party maintain or expand its majority in Congress after the 2026 elections.

Supporters of Proposition 50 argue that the change aligns with similar practices in other large states, where legislatures traditionally control redistricting.

Opponents counter that the measure reverses years of progress toward transparency and fairness in how political boundaries are drawn.

The new redistricting process is set to begin in early 2025, once the legislature formally establishes guidelines for the updated map. Implementation will likely conclude before candidate filing deadlines for the 2026 congressional elections.

With the passage of Proposition 50, California becomes one of the few states to abolish an independent redistricting body after its creation, signaling a return to a politically driven system that reform advocates warn could shape national politics for years to come.

Illegal Alien Trucker’s Sentence Reduced to 10 Years After Fatal California Crash

A 21-year-old illegal alien from India accused of causing a deadly freeway crash that killed three people in San Bernardino County, California, is now facing a reduced prison sentence after prosecutors dropped earlier claims of drug and alcohol use, as reported by The Western Journal.

Jashanpreet Singh was initially facing up to 17 years in prison after being charged with three counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and reckless driving.

Prosecutors say Singh was behind the wheel of a semi-truck that crashed into westbound traffic on the 10 Freeway last month, killing three and injuring four others.

According to the New York Post, Singh’s potential sentence was reduced to 10 years after authorities determined he was not impaired at the time of the crash, despite initial reports suggesting otherwise.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has requested to be notified prior to Singh’s release, as he is believed to have entered the United States illegally in 2022 during President Joe Biden’s term.

ICE officials confirmed Singh is not a U.S. citizen and is subject to potential deportation upon completion of his prison term.

Complicating the case, the U.S. Department of Transportation reported that California improperly upgraded Singh’s commercial driver’s license (CDL) shortly before the crash.

Federal records show that on October 15, Singh’s restricted CDL — which had allowed him to operate only within California — was upgraded to a full commercial license permitting interstate travel.

That upgrade, the DOT said, violated a September 26 directive that paused CDL issuances and upgrades to ensure compliance with new federal safety standards.

The report concluded that California’s action was not in compliance with federal rules and that Singh’s license should have been revoked instead of expanded.

Among those killed in the crash were a high school basketball coach and his wife, according to KABC-TV.

The case has reignited debate over illegal immigration and state-level compliance with federal transportation laws. Federal officials confirmed Singh entered the country illegally through the southern border and did not have permanent legal status to work or operate a commercial vehicle in the U.S.

Singh remains in custody in San Bernardino County. His sentencing hearing is scheduled later this year.

AOC Claims President Trump Blocked Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Senate Bid, Triggering GOP Rift

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed during a Monday livestream that President Donald Trump prevented Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from running for the U.S. Senate in Georgia, suggesting the decision led to Greene’s recent criticism of Republican leadership, as reported by Fox News.

Speaking to her followers on Instagram, Ocasio-Cortez said, “Here’s some tea for you. MTG, people are like, ‘Oh my God, she’s saying all these things, like, what’s gotten into her lately?’ ‘Oh, like, she’s bucking against Trump, she’s bucking against the administration.’”

“Marjorie Taylor Greene wanted to run for Senate in Georgia. She wanted to run for Senate earlier this year in the state of Georgia. She wanted to be the Republican nominee for Senate. So, she was gearing up for that statewide race, and Trump told her no,” Ocasio-Cortez continued.

“Trump said no, and the White House and Trump Land shut down Marjorie Taylor Greene’s personal ambitions to run for Senate — and she has been on a revenge tour ever since.”

Greene, who represents Georgia’s 14th congressional district, announced in May that she would not seek a Senate seat next year, deciding against challenging Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff. The Georgia seat is among the top targets for Republicans heading into the 2026 election cycle.

“Even with a few good Republicans in the Senate, nothing changes,” Greene wrote on X at the time. “So no, Jon Ossoff isn’t the real problem. He’s just a vote. A pawn. No different than the Uniparty Republicans who skip key votes to attend fundraisers and let our agenda fail.”

In recent weeks, Greene has stepped up criticism of her own party, focusing on its handling of health care policy and the ongoing government shutdown. She has also diverged from the party on foreign policy issues, calling Israel’s military response in Gaza a “genocide” and “humanitarian crisis.”

Appearing on ABC’s The View Tuesday, Greene dismissed claims that her critiques have damaged her relationship with the President. “I do love him,” she said. “When I ran for Congress in 2020, I ran criticizing Republicans and Democrats equally, because I come from a working-class family.”

Greene has continued to warn that Republicans risk losing their House majority if inflation and the cost of living remain high.

Speaking with Semafor last month, she said, “I cannot see into the future, but I see Republicans losing the House if Americans are continuing to go paycheck to paycheck.” She added, “They’ll definitely be going into the midterms looking through the lens of their bank account.”

Neither President Trump nor his team has responded publicly to Ocasio-Cortez’s claims.
