Adam Carolla Exposes How Government Terrorizes Taxpayers While Ignoring Billion-Dollar Fraud

Comedian and commentator Adam Carolla criticized what he described as excessive and intrusive government inspections on private construction projects, arguing that ordinary taxpayers face far stricter scrutiny than other areas that receive far less oversight.

Carolla shared personal experiences involving building inspectors showing up unannounced to his own projects and immediately halting work, even for minor repairs. He described inspectors entering job sites without warning and demanding documentation on the spot.

“But here’s what I was thinking when it comes to your job site, and these guys are fanatical about inspections,” Carolla said.

“Meaning, I have done more than one project where an inspector just pulled up on his own accord, got out of his car, walked onto the job site, into my house in one case, and onto another building and another case, and literally went, what’s going on?”

Carolla said the inspectors immediately asserted authority and began questioning workers and homeowners.

“And we’re like, who are you? Yeah, I’m a building inspector. What is going who’s in charge here?” he recalled.

He said inspectors quickly moved to permit enforcement.

“And you go, who’s the homeowner? I go, I don’t know. You got permit for this? No, you don’t have a permit for what’s going on here.”

According to Carolla, even routine fixes triggered shutdowns.

“Well, I was just fixing the drywall. Shut it down. Shut it down, right?” he said.

“You on that ladder, get down. You go home. Everyone goes home.”

He described inspectors ordering all work to stop until paperwork was approved.

“And when you get your when you get your plans together, and you get your permit, and you get your whatever, you can come back and see me until then, there’s nothing going on here. Now get out,” Carolla said.

“He’s standing in my house telling me, shut it down. That’s what they do.”

Carolla said building inspectors leave no room for flexibility and require full compliance even after work is completed.

“Deputy inspectors, building inspectors, by the way, there is no sliding anything past them,” he said.

“There’s no Well, we closed up the wall. Why didn’t inspect the electrical wiring. Well, take my word for it, no, take the drywall back off the wall.”

He contrasted that level of scrutiny with what he claimed is far looser oversight in other areas.

“But when it comes to Somali daycare centers, Somali daycare centers, not nearly as stringent, right? Nope, no, that’s nothing,” Carolla said.

Carolla also pointed to other government programs he believes lack comparable enforcement.

“When it comes to you, taxpayer building your own home at your own expense. They are up your ass, 24/7, nonstop,” he said.

“And when it comes to overseeing covid checks going to prisoners, not so much inspection, going on. Notice that?”

UN Put on Notice as Mike Waltz Details Venezuela’s Narco Terror State

Mike Waltz addressed the United Nations to outline U.S. actions against Venezuela’s leadership, describing the arrest of a narco trafficker and the transfer of Nicolás Maduro and his co-defendant, Celia Flores, to the United States to face criminal charges.

Waltz framed the move as a law-enforcement action taken to protect Americans and confront narco-terrorism in the Western Hemisphere.

“Indictments that have existed for decades the United States arrested a narco trafficker who is now going to stand trial in the United States in accordance with the rule of law for the crimes he has committed against our people for 15 years,” Waltz said.

He compared the operation to a prior U.S. action in Panama, stating, “A similar action was taken in 1989 against Manuel Noriega. He was arrested, indicted, convicted in a court of law, served in prison in the United States and in Panama. And the Panamanian people, the American people, are safer for it, and undeniably, the region was more stable.”

Waltz said the action was carried out under the constitutional authority of the President of the United States.

“This law enforcement action was directed consistent with the President of the United States responsibility as commander in chief to protect Americans at home and abroad against a fugitive who is directly responsible for Narco terrorism that has killed hundreds of 1000s of Americans and created destabilizing violence throughout our hemisphere,” he said.

According to Waltz, Maduro and Flores were transferred to the United States to face charges in federal court.

“Nicholas Maduro and his co defendant Celia Flores, have been transferred here to the United States to stand trial for their crimes,” he said.

“Maduro was indicted by a grand jury in the Southern District of New York, and faces very serious criminal charges for his involvement in a wide ranging conspiracy to conduct Narco terrorism, to traffic cocaine and other drugs, and conducting international weapons trafficking.”

Waltz said evidence against Maduro would be presented publicly.

“The overwhelming evidence of his crimes will be presented openly in US court proceedings, colleagues,” he said.

He rejected claims that Maduro held legitimate authority as Venezuela’s president.

“Maduro is not just an indicted drug trafficker. He was an illegitimate so called president. He was not a head of state,” Waltz said. He accused Maduro and his allies of manipulating elections to retain power. “For years, Maduro and his cronies have manipulated Venezuela’s electoral system to maintain their illegitimate grip on power,” he said.

Waltz cited international findings on Venezuela’s elections. “In fact, just two years ago in 2024 a UN panel of experts report found that the election in that year was absolutely and completely a farce and fell well short of the most basic transparency integrity measures essential to upholding credible elections,” he said.

He questioned the credibility of recognizing Maduro.

“If the UN and the United Nations in this body confers legitimacy on an illegitimate Narco terrorist And the same treatment in this charter of a democratically elected president or head of state. What kind of organization is this?”

He noted that many countries rejected Maduro’s claims to power.

“We should note that over 50 countries, many nations, including the European Union, including a number of Latin American countries in the region, and, of course, the United States, again, over 50 countries rejected the legitimacy of Maduro’s re election following the disputed 2024, elections,” Waltz said.

“And do not, do not recognize him as Venezuela’s legitimately elected president.”

Waltz stated that Maduro refused to leave office after losing the election.

“Maduro unlawfully refused to peacefully cede power after the Venezuelan people voted him out of office in the 2024 election,” he said.

“So therefore Maduro was a fugitive from justice.”

He accused Maduro of leading a criminal organization tied to terrorism.

“He is the head of a vicious foreign terrorist organization, Cartel de los Soles,” Waltz said.

He alleged coordination with other criminal groups.

“This regime sponsored enterprise coordinates with and relies on other vicious criminal organizations, namely trend Aragua, again, among others, to carry out its objective of using illegal narcotics as a weapon against the United States.”

Waltz described Tren de Aragua as a threat inside the United States.

“And for its part, trend Aragua is a designated foreign terrorist organization with 1000s of members, many of whom have unlawfully infiltrated the United States and are conducting irregular warfare and undertaking hostile actions against the American people and against the United States,” he said.

He added, “It’s terrorizing criminals commit brutal crimes, including murders, kidnappings, extortions and human drug and weapons trafficking.”

He cited President Trump’s position on the issue.

“This administration, President Trump will not stand for it,” Waltz said. He referenced a declaration from March 2025, quoting, “Tren de Aragua is undertaking hostile actions and conducting irregular warfare against the territory of the United States, both directly and at the direction clandestine or otherwise of the Maduro regime in Venezuela.”

Waltz accused Maduro of enriching himself through crime.

“Maduro and his cronies have partnered with some of the most violent and prolific drug traffickers and Narco terrorists in the world for decades, facilitating the flood of illegal drugs coming in the United States, estimated to be several 100 tons annually,” he said.

“He has become rich, incredibly wealthy, off the misery of untold numbers of Americans, Venezuelans and others.”

He further alleged ties to foreign adversaries.

“Aiding and abetting international terrorist organizations like Hezbollah, coordinating with corrupt Iranian officials and other malign actors to influence not only the region, but to malignly influence the United States,” Waltz said.

Waltz cited United Nations findings on trafficking routes.

“In fact, in its own 2025 world Drug Report, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime identified Venezuela as a key trafficking route In the Western Hemisphere,” he said.

He concluded by emphasizing U.S. objectives.

“Members of this council colleagues the United States wants a better future for Venezuela,” Waltz said.

“We believe a better future for the people of Venezuela and for the people of the region and the world is stabilizing the region and making the neighborhood that we live in a much better and safer place.”

Waltz said Venezuelans worldwide were reacting to the developments.

“This is why millions of Venezuelans that have fled this brutal regime are celebrating and cheering around the world,” he said, referencing those in Florida and elsewhere.

He ended by reiterating U.S. resolve. “The United States will not waver in our actions to protect Americans from the scourge of Narco terrorism and seeks peace, liberty and justice for the great people of Venezuela.”

Buttigieg Under Fire After Trump Attack, Past Maduro Tweets Explode Online

Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg faced renewed scrutiny over the weekend after criticizing President Donald Trump’s operation to capture Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, only for a past statement calling for Maduro’s removal to resurface, as reported by the Gateway Pundit.

Buttigieg, who served in the Biden administration, reacted publicly on Saturday to the Trump administration’s overnight operation that resulted in Maduro’s capture.

The operation, carried out in the early morning hours, concluded without any U.S. troop fatalities.

Maduro was subsequently indicted in the Southern District of New York on charges including narco-terrorism conspiracy, cocaine importation conspiracy, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and conspiracy to possess machine guns and destructive devices against the United States.

President Trump shared video footage of the strikes involved in the operation, which targeted at least four sites around Caracas, Venezuela.

Officials said no U.S. forces were killed during the mission.

Buttigieg argued that the operation followed what he described as a familiar political pattern.

“It’s an old and obvious pattern,” Buttigieg wrote Saturday. “An unpopular president – failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home – decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.”

“The American people don’t want to ‘run’ a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one,” he added.

The remarks drew attention because they contrasted sharply with Buttigieg’s own prior statements about Venezuela.

Shortly after his comments circulated, social media users resurfaced a January 6, 2020, post in which Buttigieg explicitly supported the removal of Maduro following a disputed election that triggered a political crisis in Venezuela.

“The illegitimate takeover of the Venezuelan National Assembly is further evidence that dictator Maduro will stop at nothing to consolidate his grip on power,” Buttigieg wrote at the time.

“I stand behind Juan Guaidó and the Venezuelan people as they strive to reclaim their democracy and defend their rights.”

That post remains publicly available.

In 2020, opposition leader Juan Guaidó declared himself interim president of Venezuela after international observers raised concerns about the legitimacy of Maduro’s election.

The situation led to heightened tensions between the United States and Venezuela, with Maduro accusing the Trump administration of attempting to orchestrate a coup.

Buttigieg’s criticism of Trump’s recent action also contrasted with policies pursued under the Biden administration. During Biden’s term, the U.S. government offered a $25 million reward for information leading to Maduro’s arrest.

However, no attempt was made to apprehend Maduro during those four years.

Trump’s operation ultimately succeeded in capturing Maduro and transferring him to U.S. custody, where federal prosecutors moved forward with the long-standing charges.

Administration officials said the mission was limited in scope and focused specifically on Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, who also faces federal charges.

As Buttigieg’s earlier comments circulated online, users on X responded by pointing out what they viewed as a reversal in his public position.

The contrast between his 2020 call to support Venezuelan opposition leaders and his 2026 criticism of Trump’s action quickly became a focal point of debate across social media platforms.

Neither Buttigieg nor his representatives issued additional comment after the older post resurfaced. The Trump administration has not responded directly to Buttigieg’s remarks, instead continuing to emphasize that the mission achieved its objective without American casualties.

The episode underscored ongoing divisions among Democratic figures over Venezuela policy, particularly as past statements continue to resurface in the wake of Trump’s decision to act where previous administrations did not.

President Trump Shuts Down Reporter’s Attempt to Pit Marco Rubio Against J.D. Vance

President Donald Trump on Sunday evening dismissed a reporter’s attempt to suggest internal division between Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, forcefully stating that both officials play equal roles in his administration, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Trump made the remarks aboard Air Force One as he traveled back to Washington, D.C., after spending the Christmas holiday at Mar-a-Lago in South Florida.

The exchange occurred shortly before Air Force One touched down at Joint Base Andrews.

The question came as Rubio had spent the weekend appearing on multiple Sunday news programs, where he discussed U.S. policy following the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro.

Rubio said he is “intricately involved” in efforts aimed at moving Venezuela toward a peaceful transfer of power after the U.S. operation that resulted in Maduro’s detention.

During a press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Saturday, Rubio also issued pointed remarks regarding Cuba’s role in Venezuela.

“In some cases, one of the biggest problems Venezuelans have is they have to declare independence from Cuba,” Rubio said.

“They tried to basically colonize it from a security standpoint. So, yeah, look, if I lived in Havana and I was in the government, I’d be concerned at least a little bit.”

As Trump spoke with reporters aboard Air Force One, one member of the press attempted to frame Rubio’s media presence as evidence of favoritism within the administration.

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, Republican of Florida, speaks in Bedford, New Hampshire, on October 6, 2015.

“What you say that Marco Rubio has your ear more than the Vice President right now?” the reporter asked.

Trump immediately rejected the premise.

“No! They both do. JD is very smart and doing a great job, and so is Marco! I would say they’re equal,” the president responded.

The reporter continued pressing the issue, saying, “It sounds like [Rubio] is the go-to and you were just talking about Cuba and what could come next there.”

Trump did not alter his response or walk back his remarks, maintaining that both senior officials are closely involved in administration policy.

Air Force One landed at Joint Base Andrews on Sunday evening, where Trump transferred to Marine One for the return to the White House.

The president’s return followed the U.S. operation in Venezuela that led to Maduro’s capture, an event that has dominated political and media discussion in recent days.

Administration officials confirmed that Trump, Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and other senior officials are scheduled to be on Capitol Hill on Monday.

The group is expected to brief high-ranking members of congressional committees on developments in Venezuela and the aftermath of the operation.

Footage of Air Force One’s arrival was shared by Fox News, showing the aircraft touching down at Joint Base Andrews as Trump prepared to return to the nation’s capital.

The White House did not indicate that any additional announcements would be made during Monday’s briefings beyond updates related to Venezuela and regional security issues.

Venezuelan Communities Worldwide Celebrate Historic Arrest of Maduro

Venezuelans across the globe erupted in celebration Saturday after U.S. forces captured longtime Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro and transported him and his wife to the United States to face federal charges, marking a dramatic turning point for a country whose political and economic collapse has driven one of the largest migration crises in recent history.

Celebrations broke out within hours of the operation in cities across the United States, South America, and Europe, as news spread that Maduro had been taken into custody and formally indicted on multiple federal counts.

For many Venezuelans living abroad, the development represented a moment they had waited years to see.

In Doral, Florida — a South Florida city that is home to the largest Venezuelan community in the United States — hundreds of people flooded the streets beginning around 4 a.m., gathering outside El Arepazo, a popular Venezuelan restaurant that quickly became the focal point of the celebration.

“Liberty! Liberty! Liberty!” the crowd chanted as they waved Venezuelan flags, banged pots and pans, and embraced one another.

Oriana Spivak celebrates near Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, while President Trump has a press conference about US forces capturing Venezuela’s leader Nicolas Maduro after bombing the capital Caracas on January 3, 2026.

Videos and photos from the scene showed emotional scenes, with some participants crying, others dancing to Venezuelan music, and several popping champagne bottles as the celebrations continued into the morning.

One woman, speaking to NBC Miami, described the moment as deeply personal and historic.

“I started crying. I’ve seen my dad cry three times in my life: his dad dying, Fidel dying and today…It’s historic,” she said.

Another man credited the United States for the operation and expressed optimism about Venezuela’s future.

“I’m very excited…We are celebrating. Thanks to President Trump and the U.S. military for this perfect operation,” he said.

A third participant summed up his reaction more simply, saying he had “no words” for what he described as a monumental moment.

Similar scenes unfolded overseas.

In Madrid, Spain, and Santiago, Chile, Venezuelans gathered in public spaces, raising Venezuelan flags alongside American flags as they marked the capture of Maduro.

“We are free. We are all happy that the dictatorship has fallen and that we have a free country,” said Khaty Yanez, a Venezuelan woman who has lived in Chile for the past seven years, speaking to Reuters.

“My joy is too big,” said Jose Gregorio, another Venezuelan living in Chile.

“After so many years, after so many struggles, after so much work, today is the day. Today is the day of freedom,” he added.

Maduro’s rule has coincided with a prolonged economic collapse and political repression that triggered a massive exodus from Venezuela.

Since 2018, nearly 8 million Venezuelans — roughly 20 percent of the country’s population — have fled the nation after being unable to afford basic necessities such as food.

According to the United Nations’ International Organization for Migration, approximately 85 percent of those who left settled in neighboring countries throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.

Federal prosecutors allege that Maduro presided over what they described as “a corrupt, illegitimate government that, for decades, has leveraged government power to protect and promote illegal activity, including drug trafficking.”

The indictment accuses Maduro of partnering with “some of the most violent and prolific drug traffickers and narco-terrorists in the world” to move massive quantities of cocaine into the United States.

According to court filings, prosecutors allege that by 2020 Maduro and his associates were responsible for facilitating the trafficking of as much as 250 tons of cocaine into the U.S., using a network that included go-fast vessels, fishing boats, container ships, and aircraft operating from clandestine airstrips.

The capture and indictment of Maduro represent one of the most significant developments involving Venezuela in decades, drawing international attention and emotional reactions from Venezuelans who have lived for years in exile as a result of the country’s turmoil.

Nick Shirley Brings Receipts on Even More Minnesota Daycare Fraud

Independent journalist Nick Shirley said he uncovered what he described as blatant fraud involving a Minnesota daycare that was shut down, reopened under a new name, and received millions of dollars in government funding within a single year, raising broader concerns about oversight and potential misuse of taxpayer funds.

Shirley reported from Minnesota, where he focused on a daycare previously known as Creative Minds Daycare.

According to Shirley, the facility was closed and then reopened almost immediately under a different name.

“Here in Minnesota, blatant fraud is taking place within the government and the Somalian population,” Shirley said.

“Right here you see a daycare center. It says it’s creative minds daycare. Creative minds. Daycare was actually shut down and was reopened the next day, underneath the name super kids.”

Shirley said the newly renamed Super Kids Daycare has received substantial public funding in a short period of time.

“And just in the past year, in 2025 this daycare alone has received $2.45 million,” he said.

Shirley said the case reflects broader allegations involving some daycares and other businesses operating in Minnesota. He said there are rumors that funds obtained through fraud are being sent overseas.

“It’s rumored here that some of these daycares and these other businesses that are committing fraud have been rumored to be giving money back to terrorist groups in Somalia,” Shirley said.

Shirley also referenced betting market activity related to the potential legal consequences for those involved.

“There’s a 35% chance on Poly market right now that those people who helped defraud the government will be deported back to Somalia,” he said.

Shirley said the scale of funding involved suggests that opening a daycare could be a highly profitable venture due to government subsidies, pointing to what he described as visible signs of wealth associated with the facility.

“But this daycare alone received over $2.45 million,” Shirley said.

“So maybe if you want to become a millionaire here in the United States, you should open up a daycare center and receive government funding from a governor like Tim Walz here inside the state of Minnesota.”

While reporting from the site, Shirley described several high-end vehicles parked outside the daycare.

“Because these people are making $2.45 million and right now you have a BMW Range Rover, BMW, BMW, in a van outside of this daycare center here in Minneapolis, Minnesota,” he said.

Americans Are Waking Up: Much of the GDP Is in Fact Fraud, Waste, and Abuse: Avery Day

Avery Daye said Americans are becoming aware that a large share of the U.S. economy is tied to fraud, waste, and abuse, and argued that recent findings by a government program reveal significant problems in federal spending.

“Americans are finally waking up to the fact that a substantial portion of our GDP is actually, in fact, fraud, waste and abuse,” Daye said.

Daye referenced a government program called Doge, which he said was created to identify fraud, waste, and abuse in federal spending.

She said the program uncovered large amounts of misappropriated funds and faced opposition from Democrats.

“Gosh, if only we put in a government program whose job it was was to root out all this fraud, waste and abuse. Oh, wait, we did. There is one. It’s called Doge. And the Democrats hated it. They actively worked against it,” Daye said.

Daye claimed Doge identified an estimated $1.5 trillion in fraud, waste, and abuse within the federal budget.

She said the 2025 federal budget totaled about $7 trillion and argued that removing the misused funds shows what federal spending should be.

“What Doge found was there’s an estimated 1.5 trillion of our federal budget that is going towards fraud, waste and abuse, and our 2025 federal budget was about 7 trillion,” Daye said.

“So let’s do some simple math. And let’s say 7 trillion minus 1.5 trillion. That puts what our federal federal budget should be, which is about around 5.5 trillion.”

Daye said critics rejected Doge’s findings and dismissed its conclusions.

“Oh, but wait, Elon is bad, billionaire bad. Can’t trust Doge,” she said.

Daye said the budget figures can be evaluated by looking at federal spending before the COVID pandemic.

She pointed to 2019 as a baseline year before emergency funding measures were introduced.

“We have to take it back to 2019 pre covid, pre all these emergency funds that were put into place,” Daye said.

She said the federal budget in 2019 was $4.4 trillion and that spending had grown at about a 5 percent annual rate in prior years. Daye said using that growth rate provides a benchmark for evaluating current spending levels.

“So our federal budget in 2019 was 4.4 trillion. Previous years we had a 5% growth rate,” she said.

Daye said even assuming a portion of the 2019 budget involved fraud, waste, and abuse, the numbers still support a much lower federal budget today.

“And let’s be super, super conservative here, and say only 10% of that federal budget in 2019 was fraud, waste and abuse. That puts us around 4 trillion as a baseline number,” Daye said.

She said adding annual growth to that figure results in a projected budget consistent with Doge’s findings.

“Now let’s add 5% for annual growth. That gives us a 2026 spend of 5.5 trillion, which validates everything that Doge found,” Daye said.

Daye questioned how federal spending increased from $4.4 trillion in 2019 to $7 trillion in 2025 and said such growth could not occur without widespread misuse of funds.

“Because riddle me this, how do you go from a federal budget of 4.4 trillion in 2019, to 7 trillion in 2025, you can’t do that without astronomical amounts of fraud, waste and abuse,” Daye said.

Daye said the growth was unsustainable and harmful to Americans.

“It’s unsustainable growth. It hurts the American people, and any federal budget above 5.5 trillion is completely unacceptable,” she said.

He said opposition to addressing fraud, waste, and abuse amounts to working against long-term economic stability.

“And if you are against finding and taking action about this fraud, waste and abuse happening in America, you are working against the long term sustainable success of the American people,” Daye said.

‘Senate Republicans Need to Get Their Heads Out of Their A**es’: Mike Davis

A statement from conservative legal commentator Mike Davis focused on the future of the Senate filibuster and warnings about what Davis said Democrats would do if they regain full control of Washington.

Davis argued that Senate Republicans should eliminate the 60-vote legislative filibuster, saying Democrats have already shown they are willing to change Senate rules to advance their agenda.

“So I would say this on the filibuster. There is no question that Senate Republicans should get rid of the filibuster, the 60-vote threshold for legislation,” Davis said.

Davis pointed to past actions by Democrats during the Obama administration, saying they removed the filibuster for judicial nominations and used it to reshape the federal courts.

“Democrats got rid of the filibuster for judges under Obama and stacked the DC Circuit and the DC district court with left-wing radicals,” Davis said.

According to Davis, Republicans should not assume Democrats will preserve the legislative filibuster if they regain unified control of government.

He said the absence of former Democratic senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema would remove obstacles that previously slowed rule changes.

“They’re going to Democrats will do the same thing again,” Davis said.

“They don’t have Manchin and Sinema in the Senate to stop them, and the next time the Democrats control the White House, the House and the Senate, they are going to nuke the legislative filibuster.”

Davis warned that eliminating the filibuster would allow Democrats to push through major changes to the political system, including election laws and the balance of power in Congress.

“They’re going to make it much more easy to steal elections,” he said.

“They’re going to add DC, Puerto Rico, maybe the Virgin Islands, as states with two new Democrat senators in each place.”

Davis said those changes would permanently tilt the Senate and lead to additional steps that could reshape the judiciary.

“They’re going to destroy our country. They’ll pack the Supreme Court. It is game over, America,” he said.

Davis argued that Republicans should act first rather than waiting for Democrats to make those changes.

He said eliminating the filibuster now would allow Republicans to advance legislation they view as critical to election integrity.

“Senate Republicans need to get their heads out of their asses and get rid of the filibuster for legislation so we can get our legislation done right now,” Davis said.

He specifically referenced the Save Act, which he said is needed to prevent illegal voting.

“Like the Save Act to make sure that illegal aliens are not continuing to vote and steal in our elections,” Davis said.

Davis also tied his concerns to recent political outcomes in major cities, arguing that changes in voting demographics have produced leadership he believes threatens national security and cultural stability.

“There’s a reason that Mamdani is the mayor of New York City,” Davis said.

“It’s because foreign born voters put in an Islamist to run our nation’s largest city, just like the Islamist did the same thing in Europe with London.”

Davis concluded by warning that the window for action is limited and that failure to move quickly would have long-term consequences.

“We have to pass key reforms now over the next year, or we’re going to lose our country,” he said.

‘JD Vance Is Pulling Off Something Historic’: CNN’s Data Guru Harry Enten

With the 2028 presidential election still 34 months away, early polling and prediction market data are already offering a glimpse into how the next Republican primary race could take shape.

According to recent analysis highlighted on CNN, Vice President J.D. Vance has emerged as the clear early favorite for the Republican presidential nomination, posting numbers that have surprised even veteran political analysts.

CNN chief data analyst Harry Enten said Monday that he was struck by how strongly Vance performed in a recent poll of likely New Hampshire Republican primary voters when compared with other potential contenders, including former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nimarata “Nikki” Haley, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, and several sitting and former elected officials.

Enten pointed to prediction market data showing Vance far ahead of the rest of the field.

On Polymarket, Vance’s odds of becoming the Republican presidential nominee in 2028 stand at 54 percent.

The next closest contender on the platform, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, is listed at 9 percent.

Similar results appear across other platforms. PredictIt reflects comparable confidence in Vance’s position, while the federally regulated prediction market Kalshi places Vance’s odds at 48 percent, with Rubio again trailing at 10 percent.

“JD Vance is like Mario Andretti, and Marco Rubio and the rest of the field are like going around in go-karts at this point,” Enten said.

“That’s really what we are looking at. JD Vance is the clear, heavy favorite at this time.”

Enten said the early dominance shown in prediction markets is supported by polling data rather than speculation.

He cited a University of New Hampshire poll conducted in October that surveyed voters planning to participate in the 2028 Republican presidential primary in New Hampshire.

According to the poll, 51 percent of respondents said they would vote for Vance.

Haley was a distant second at 9 percent, followed by Gabbard at 8 percent.

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders received 5 percent support, while Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky drew 4 percent.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy each received 3 percent support.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who was born in Calgary and has previously run for president, failed to reach 1 percent in the poll.

Cruz was among the candidates defeated by President Donald Trump during the 2016 and 2024 Republican primary contests.

“Take a look here! JD Vance at 51%!” Enten said while reviewing the poll results.

“The next closest is Nikki Haley, who’s at 9 — who’s at 9! I mean, what is that? That’s 42 points ahead of the pack.”

Enten added that the significance of New Hampshire’s early primary status helps explain why Vance’s numbers have translated so strongly into prediction market confidence.

“There’s a reason why he’s such a heavy favorite in the prediction market so far, because if you win the GOP primary in New Hampshire, chances are, you’re going to be the Republican nominee for president,” he said.

When asked whether such a commanding early lead was unusual, Enten said it was historically rare.

“I looked back. Hitting 50% plus in the early New Hampshire polls for a non-sitting president — JD Vance is the only one,” he said.

“JD Vance is pulling off something historic at this time.”

Historically, recent vice presidents who have sought the presidency have fared well in their party primaries.

The last five sitting vice presidents who ran for president ultimately secured their party’s nomination.

Additional signs of Vance’s early strength emerged earlier this month at Turning Point USA’s annual AmericaFest, where a straw poll was conducted. Widowed CEO Erika Kirk publicly endorsed Vance during the event.

Blake Neff, a producer for “The Charlie Kirk Show,” said Vance won the AmericaFest straw poll by a larger margin than President Trump won a similar poll ahead of the 2024 election.

Neff noted that while 82.6 percent of respondents previously supported Trump as the GOP nominee, 84.2 percent said they wanted Vance to be the Republican nominee in 2028.

The same University of New Hampshire poll that showed Vance with majority support among Republican voters also suggested a more fragmented contest on the Democratic side.

Among likely Democratic primary voters in New Hampshire, 19 percent said they would support former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. California Gov. Gavin Newsom followed at 15 percent, with New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez at 14 percent.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris received 11 percent support, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont drew 8 percent, and Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker registered 6 percent.

While the 2028 election remains years away, early polling and market indicators suggest that the Republican field is already coalescing around Vance in a way rarely seen this early in the cycle.

Mass. Gov. Under Fire as Former Migrant Shelter Director Blows the Whistle on Cover Up

A former Massachusetts migrant shelter director accused Gov. Maura Healy of presiding over widespread crime, financial waste, and systemic coverups inside state-funded migrant shelters, saying the experience was “the biggest mistake” of his life and calling for the governor to be held criminally accountable.

John Featherston, who previously ran a migrant shelter in Massachusetts, made the allegations during an exchange with Nate Friedman, describing what he said were unchecked crimes, taxpayer-funded waste, and directives from state leadership that discouraged law enforcement from intervening.

“My name is John Featherston. I’m a former migrant shelter director in Massachusetts. It was the biggest mistake of my life, the biggest mistake of my life,” Featherston said.

When Friedman asked directly whether he believed Gov. Healy should face prosecution, Featherston did not hesitate.

“I believe Maura Healy should go to jail for the rest of her life for the crimes that she’s committed,” he said.

Featherston argued that once migrants were brought into Massachusetts under the governor’s policies, the state assumed responsibility for their safety and conduct.

“Yes, the governor’s first priority is to protect the people. Once they came to Massachusetts because she invited them, she was responsible for them,” he said.

He accused the administration of concealing serious crimes.

“She’s covered up rapes, she’s covered up crimes. She’s covered up sex trafficking, she’s covered up drug dealing that we’re not even talking about the financial piece at its capacity,” Featherston said.

According to Featherston, financial waste was rampant inside the shelter system.

He described a facility housing roughly 550 people across 150 rooms, with four individuals per room.

Despite vacancies, he said the state continued to bill taxpayers for unused space.

“Back a year ago, I would have 10 empty rooms, but the state would still get billed $180 a night for those 10 empty rooms,” he said.

“They would still get billed for the meals in those rooms too.”

Featherston characterized the system as government-funded housing with no private accountability.

“So there is a tremendous amount of waste and or fraud, but this is government subsidized housing. There’s no other way to describe it,” he said.

“Your taxpayers, the taxpayers, are paying for everything that goes inside these four walls. So it’s not private property.”

He said public scrutiny intensified after disturbing incidents became national news.

“The fact that they’re this defensive a year after this has become like a national story, because a man you know, impregnated his own daughter, and these in the shelter, it’s quite obviously they got something to hide,” Featherston said.

Featherston described shelters as environments plagued by violence and criminal activity.

“So there’s a lot of domestic violence inside these shelters,” he said.

“It’s called it’s a cultural thing. A lot of Haitian men don’t have a lot of respect for women, it seems like. So there’s often a lot of physical violence. There’s a lot of women on women violence in these shelters.”

He also said prostitution and drug dealing were common. “So the police would come all the time,” he said.

“You know, when I had reports of like, sex trafficking, you know, they would come, you know, drug dealing, they would come. A lot of prostitution in that parking lot.”

Featherston claimed police were discouraged from enforcing the law due to directives tied to the governor’s office.

“I would talk to police officers, and I’d be like, Hey, I know this car is not registered. I know it’s not insured. What are you going to do about it?” he said.

“If it was you, I’d arrest you. If it’s them, I just let it go.”

According to Featherston, officers cited political pressure.

“Why? Well, the governor wants this, and the governor has come down and given us a mandate that, you know, we don’t give the migrants a hard time, and we don’t, you know, arrest them because they don’t have driver’s license. We just give them stern talking,” he said.

Featherston also criticized media coverage, saying the public has been kept in the dark.

“You don’t know what’s going on, because the legacy media is quite obviously afraid of the governor,” he said.

“The governor has told them, Don’t report on this.”

He said local outlets failed to report on conditions inside the shelters.

“You don’t see these stories by the local media. You only see them by the national media and guys like you, you know, doing the real journalism,” Featherston said.

He concluded by accusing state leadership of abandoning vulnerable Americans in favor of migrant programs.

“We’ve lost our way. We’ve lost our way,” he said.

“We’re not taking care of veterans. We’re not taking care of low income seniors, but we’re giving everything free to migrants.”
