Lee Zeldin Reclaims $20 Billion from Biden’s EPA Slush Fund Given to Eight Groups

EPA Chief Lee Zeldin has notified eight recipients of the $20 billion climate fund that their grants had been terminated. In a recently surfaced video, a source told Project Veritas that the Biden administration had rushed to disperse the funds before Trump took over.

“Now it’s how to get the money out as fast as possible before they come in … It truly feels like we’re on the Titanic or throwing gold bar off the top edge,” EPA’s special advisor Brent Efron told a Project Veritas undercover investigator. The conservative activist group termed the quick disbursements as “an insurance policy against Trump winning.”

However, Zeldin has reclaimed $20 billion awarded under Biden’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF) and worked with Citibank to freeze. He also notified the impacted organizations that they would no longer receive the awarded grants.

“It is my commitment to President Trump, Congress, and you, that EPA will be an exceptional steward of your tax dollars. I’ll have it no other way!” Lee Zeldin said.

Recipients of the Biden climate slush fund included “Coalition for Green Capital, Climate United Fund, Power Forward Communities, Opportunity Finance Network, and Inclusiv and the Justice Climate Fund,” the Associated Press reported.

Zeldin bragged about making a significant discovery and keeping a very important pledge he made to the American people shortly after he was confirmed. 

“Fortunately, my awesome team at the EPA has found the gold bars. Shockingly, roughly $20 billion of your tax dollars were parked at an outside financial institution by the Biden EPA. This scheme was the first of its kind in EPA history and it was purposely designed to obligate all of the money in a rush job with reduced oversight,”

He lamented that only eight organizations were responsible for the amount and operated without transparency. Apparently, one organization known as Climate United Fund had received a whopping $7 billion. Approximately $14 billion and $6 billion were awarded to non-profit organizations implementing climate projects in disadvantaged communities.

Comparing awarding the contracts to tossing the “gold bars” off Titanic, Zeldin asserted the importance of reviewing every transaction. He promised that his agency would show responsibility by accounting for every awarded penny. In a separate post, he also warned that his organization would have “zero tolerance of any waste and abuse” of federal government funds.

“The financial agent agreement with the bank needs to be instantly terminated and the bank must immediately return all the gold bars that the Biden Administration tossed off the Titanic. EPA needs to assume responsibility of all these funds. We will review every penny that has gone out the door. I will [be] referring this matter to the inspector general’s office and will work with the Justice Department as well.”

Meanwhile, Zeldin’s latest recovery adds to the growing list of wasteful government expenditures that the Trump administration hopes to stop. The president recently directed the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Elon Musk to step up his efforts to stop government waste.

JD Vance Receives a Standing Ovation at CPAC, Doubles Down on Illegal Immigration and Free Speech

Vice President JD Vance kicked off the 2025 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) by storm at the National Harbor, Maryland, where he doubled down on illegal immigration and free speech.

Vance had just jetted in from the European tour where he lambasted European governments for promoting illegal immigration and runaway censorship at the behest of Joe Biden.

Vance started by reiterating that the American people gave President Trump the mandate to save the country, adding that the president was keeping his team at a “pretty breakneck pace.”

“Trump knows that the American people have given us a chance to save the country, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do. And thank God for that, because the past month has been a lot of fun,”

The Thursday morning interview host Mercedes Schlapp noted that the media was overwhelmed and could not keep up with Trump’s progress. Vance took a jab at CNN by claiming that the Trump admin had issued more executive orders than the network’s viewers.

When asked, Vance doubled down on illegal immigration which he termed as the greatest threat to Western civilization.

“The greatest threat in Europe, and I’d say the greatest threat in the US until about 30 days ago, is that leaders in the West have allowed millions of unvetted foreign migrants into their countries,” he said.

“We have to secure the southern border, and thanks to his [Trump’s] action, border crossings are down well over 90%, and we’re just getting started.”

Vance also put drug traffickers on alert saying their “free ride is over because President Trump is back in the Oval Office.” He also noted that the federal government needs to hire more border patrol agents to secure the country’s border.

“We got to give Tom Homan and Stephen Miller and Christy Noem, the resources they need to secure the border.” 

On the economy, Vance said America must reignite its economic growth to create good jobs and high incomes for its people.

“We have to unlock the engine of the American growth. We have to get back to having a growing economy that creates good jobs and high wages for the American people and a lot of that goes back to drill baby drill.”

He also noted that the government must account for taxpayers’ money, of which he said Elon Musk’s DOGE was helping uncover massive waste.

“Like for example… why are we spending money on Progressive modern art projects, centered around toilets in Afghanistan?”

“Let’s turn off the spigot and spend the American people’s tax money on the American people’s priority.”

Vance also talked about making Trump’s tax cuts permanent, which include ending tax on tips. 

On freedom of speech, Vance received a standing ovation after mentioning his Munich speech in which he lambasted European governments for terrorizing their citizens for expressing themselves. He said that stopping illegal immigration was not enough and governments must allow people to speak about it.

“… you have to allow free speech to debate this stuff.”

 “You’ve got to give the populations of the world the opportunity to speak up and say, ‘no more this BS, we want borders, we want sovereignty, we want to be able to speak our own mind in our own country.’”

“I’m not even blaming the Europeans, I’m actually saying, you followed the lead of Joe Biden into censorship and mass migration. Follow the lead of Donald J. Trump and that’s free speech, borders, and sovereignty, that’s the future for our shared civilization.” 

The vice president warned that US-European relations will depend on shared values such as freedom of speech and strong borders.

Vance also addressed the Ukraine conflict by assuring the American people that President Trump was working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

“I think with President Trump, what makes him such a strong negotiator—and I’ve seen this in private—is that he doesn’t take anything off the table. Everything is on the table. And of course, that makes people in America upset because they say, ‘Why are you talking to Russia?’”

Addressing concerns that Trump was negotiating with Putin, Vance reiterated that the Ukraine War cannot end without speaking with all parties involved.

“How do you end the war if you don’t talk to Russia? You have to talk to everyone involved in the fighting.”

The Vice President also addressed abortion by advocating for policies that allow Americans to “choose life” and “start families,” adding that Americans need to “stop thinking about babies as inconveniences to be discarded.”

He also encouraged young people, especially men, to be themselves and avoid the negative culture that “wants to turn everybody, whether male or female, into androgynous idiots who think the same, talk the same, and act the same.”

Vance’s speech kicked off the three-day event at which President Trump, Elon Musk, GOP lawmakers, government officials, and international leaders will appear. Government officials and legislators expected to speak at the CPAC include House Speaker Mike Johnson, White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

Foreign leaders expected to attend the CPAC include Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, and Argentina’s President Javier Milei. European conservative politicians such as Britain’s Nigel Farage, France’s Jordan Bardella, and former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will also attend the CPAC.

Meanwhile, former British Prime Minister Liz Truss jokingly requested Trump to take his revolution to Europe and allow Musk’s DOGE team to look into “the British deep state.”

Non-Woke U.S. Military Shatters a 15-Year Recruitment Record after Trump’s Victory without Aggressive Transgender Enrolment Campaigns

Trump’s return to the White House has encouraged more Americans to join the military.

In December 2024, nearly 350 soldiers were recruited per day, shattering a 15-year record. In January 2025, the army also continued to shatter records, breaking the Biden administration’s appalling downward trend.

“Our Recruiters have one of the toughest jobs – inspiring the next generation of #Soldiers to serve.

“Congratulations and keep up the great work!” The U.S. Army posted on X.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth lauded the development, saying “America’s youth want to serve under the bold & strong “America First” leadership” of Donald Trump.

When Hegseth was appointed, he promised to dismantle woke policies in the military that discouraged brave men from enlisting. Trump also promised to rid the military of 15,000 transgender soldiers by declaring them unfit to serve.

“They would be medically discharged, which would determine that they were unfit to serve,” The Times reported.

Trump and Hegseth’s promise to end the transgender ideology angered the Left, which claimed it would discourage nonbinary individuals from joining an already understaffed military. 

“It would also lead to a ban on trans people joining the military and would come at a time when almost all branches of the American armed forces are failing to meet recruitment targets.”

Nonetheless, Hegseth said removing woke ideology from the military would encourage the traditional military demographics to join, which has now been proven true.

“There aren’t enough lesbians in San Fransisco to man the 82nd Airborne Division,” Hegseth said. “…and in trying to cater to that, they lost the boys in Tennessee and Kentucky and Oklahoma. The traditional dudes who did it because they wanted, they loved their country, or they wanted the adventure, or they wanted to try tough things….”

He said most potential recruits took a wide berth at the military because they did not want to get involved in wokeism. “…if I wanted to do the woke cr*p, I could go to the local community college or local college. I don’t need it here.”

Under Biden, the military made many sacrifices, including introducing a program that assisted potential recruits in overcoming academic and physical fitness barriers, of course, without “sacrificing quality for quantity.” However, attempting to attract non-traditional demographics who need to be accommodated to serve already sacrifices the military’s preparedness and readiness. Hegseth and Trump promised to prioritize the military’s preparedness instead of identity.

In addition, the military carried out various outreach programs, which involved drag queens to attract potential non-binary recruits. Nonetheless, Biden’s military fell flat on its face in achieving recruitment targets, recording a 41,000 deficit in 2023. 

However, it took the Trump administration barely two months to break a 15-year record without conducting recruitment campaigns. The only thing Trump did was rid the military of the destructive woke ideology that discouraged traditional recruits in favor of potential non-binary recruits in order to feel more welcoming. 

Trump and Hegseth’s strategy seems to be working, and in a few years, the military will likely be turning down potential recruits due to over-enrolment.
