Donald Trump paid a visit to a young boy with a rare neurological condition upon a trip to New York.
The story of Liam – an eight-year-old boy with a medical condition – went viral (below) earlier in September after he broke down in tears upon receiving a birthday letter from the former president. The heartwarming video brought tens of thousands to tears as a grateful Liam thanked the Republican.
During Trump’s visit to New York, the former president popped in to say happy birthday to Liam with a present. A starstruck Liam was lost for words as Trump gave him “the best present” he’s ever received.

“It’s a pipe dream, I can never imagine, to thank the world for helping my son come this far and showing support and making his dream come true, because, believe it or not, this is definitely probably one of his big dreams, to meet Donald Trump, his hero since he was probably born. If not, very close,” Liam’s father told Fox News.
Liam had previously received a surprise birthday card from Trump in a heartwarming video that went viral.
Many on social media were moved by the clip which Trump shared on his Instagram and TikTok pages.
There was also widespread praise for Trump.
