What will the history books say when they look back on the period from about 2014 through 2025? Oh, I know, it’s silly to assume that we’ll have “history books.” Even if we’re allowed to acknowledge anything true about the past, it’ll all be digital so the past can be instantly edited and reality disappeared when it’s politically inconvenient.
But go with it. What will future people say when they observe the decade in which America lost its mind and pretended that men were women and women were men? It’s one thing to fall for a mistaken theory of illness, such as the old belief that sickness came from imbalanced “humors.” It’s understandable to get it wrong on illness, since it took microscopes and scientific progress to figure out that microbes and germs were behind our ailments.
But we can’t say that about the lunatic belief in transgenderism that has kept this country captive for ten years. More than half the adult population in the western world believed, or claimed in public to believe, that if a man says “I feel as though I’m a woman,” that this statement made him an actual woman. That cutting off your genitals and wearing false breasts made you a woman. Or that mortifying your flesh and creating a necrotic facsimile of the male organ somehow made that woman “a man.”
This is a mistaken belief of a much higher order. It infected every level of our culture from local government all the to the feds. President Joe Biden even rewrote long standing legislation that protects girls in sports (Title IX) to demand that schools and colleges treat boys who claim to be girls as actual girls. Famous institutions like the University of Pennsylvania allowed full-on obvious men, like one Will Thomas, to compete on the women’s swimming team. It even gave him awards for beating “other women” in the competition.
That ends now, thanks to President Trump. He has pressured UPenn into taking it all back. Every single bit of it. And, they have to make it right with the female college students they screwed while catering to perverts like Thomas.
