A rally by Kamala Harris and Tim Walz caught the attention of social media users on Thursday, Sept. 10 for its bizarre chants, strange behavior and a huge Freudian slip.
The two campaigned in Grand Rapids, MI, as part of a tour of swing states the Democratic ticket needs to win if they are to secure the White House for another four years.
Minnesota Gov. Walz took to the stage first for a strange, longwinded speech which, as predicted, largely focused on attacking Donald Trump. During the speech, Walz prompted a chant of “we’re not eating cats” in response to the recent allegations in Springfield, OH.
He also praised Harris’ political upbringing, although mistakenly called her a “young prostitute-r”.
As Walz’ speech came to a close, the vice presidential nominee cringe-inducingly gesticulated across the stage.
His “prostitute” remarks were highly discussed on X, with many seeing the humor in the Freudian error.
A Minnesota resident tried to offer an explanation.
So FINALLY the Gov says something we can agree with
And even then it was a politically appointed position in exchange for favors.
That’s the most truth a Democrat has said aloud in at least 20 years.
Are you sure it was an accident?
I’m starting to wonder if Russian Standard vodka is a major campaign donor. Putin has stated his preference for Harris (of course) so this does track.
