The Investigation Into Matthew Perry’s Death Almost Complete – and People Could Face Charges

It has nearly been a year since beloved Friends star Matthew Perry tragically lost his life due to an apparent overdose of ketamine. Now eight months later, authorities involved in the comedic actor’s case believe they are nearing the end of their investigation into Perry’s death, as well as claiming that multiple individuals should be charged with the star’s untimely death. Matthew Perry died in October of 2023 after drowning in a hot tub in his Los Angeles home. Perry was 54.

A source connected to the authorities overseeing Perry’s death reported to People magazine that the investigation into the actor’s death is “nearing its conclusion”. The source also revealed that the U.S. Attorney’s Office will decide whether or not to press charges on those reportedly involved. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Fox News that the department is still investigating the matter. When asked by Fox News about the current status of the investigation, the U.S. Attorney’s Office responded with no comment. The Captain of the LAPD Scot Williams stated in a recent email that the department was working with the DEA and U.S. Postal Inspection Service to determine why Perry had large amounts of ketamine in his system at the time of his death.

Ketamine was detected in Perry’s stomach contents according to the actor’s autopsy report, however, the report stated that how Perry consumed the drug is still unknown. Ketamine was not the only contributor to Perr’s death as the autopsy also stated that prescriptions and “loose pills” were found in Perry’s residence at the time of his death.

Although there is stigma around the use of ketamine, it is a dissociative anesthetic that is used in medical procedures and therapies. Perry reportedly was receiving ketamine infusions as therapy for depression and anxiety, with his last known treatment being given to him a week before his untimely death in late October last year.

  1. Very doubtful if anyone will be charged as that would expose the Hollywood drug dealers and their clients who keep them jacked up on drugs. No one will be charged in LA LA land
