Podcaster Joe Rogan said he would “rather go to Russia” than attend an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event in Canada. Rogan, who is also a UFC commentator, said he would not be attending May’s UFC 315 in Montreal, Canada.

“I won’t be there. I don’t go to Canada anymore,” the host said.
“I’d rather go to Russia,” he added, as his guest joked about Canada becoming the 51st state in the United States.
“It’ll never happen,” Rogan chuckled.
“That’s so crazy, [Trump] asked them to be the 51st state,” he said.
“I had a conversation with Trump about it,” he revealed.
“I started calling him Governor Trudeau just for fun, a lot of people are saying it’s a good idea,” he said of Trump’s response.
“Maybe it is a good idea.”
