California Karen Melts Down Over Target Employee Wearing a Charlie Kirk Shirt

A woman from Orland, California, is facing widespread public backlash after posting a video of herself confronting an elderly Target employee over a Charlie Kirk “Freedom” shirt, an incident that has since circulated widely on social media.

The woman, identified as Michelea Ponce, filmed the confrontation inside a Target store and shared it on TikTok.

In the video, Ponce approaches the older employee as she is stocking baby clothes on store shelves and begins questioning her about the shirt she is wearing.

“Why are you taking my picture?” the Target employee asks during the encounter.

Ponce continues pressing the employee about the shirt, which features the name of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

The employee responds that she is allowed to wear any red shirt as part of her work attire.

Despite the explanation, Ponce persists in confronting her.

During the exchange, Ponce repeatedly insults the employee, calling her “f-cking stupid” and accusing her of supporting racism.

“You support a racist,” Ponce says in the video.

The employee calmly disputes the accusation, stating that Kirk is not racist. Ponce then demands to speak with a manager and declares the shirt “unacceptable.”

Throughout the encounter, the Target employee remains composed and does not raise her voice.

As the interaction ends, the employee wishes Ponce a nice day and walks away.

According to Ponce’s Facebook profile, she works as a nurse at Enloe Health, a nonprofit healthcare system based in Chico, California.

The profile indicates she has held patient care roles at the organization. Enloe Health operates several medical facilities in Northern California.

Ponce uses the TikTok handle @motherofballers, where she had approximately 19.6K followers and more than 1.1 million likes at the time the video gained attention.

The Target confrontation was not the only content on her account to draw scrutiny.

In another video posted to TikTok, Ponce criticized her own mother for wanting to buy a Bible for her teenage son. In that video, she claimed her son lives in a “military house with two lesbians.”

It is unclear who she was referring to, as Ponce frequently posts content indicating that she is married to a Mexican man.

Following the Target incident, backlash against Ponce intensified across social media platforms. Users accused her of bullying and harassing an elderly retail worker.

Others called for Target to bar her from its stores and urged Enloe Health to take disciplinary action, including termination of her employment.

As of the time of publication, Enloe Health has not issued a public statement regarding the incident or Ponce’s employment status.

The Gateway Pundit reported that it contacted Enloe Health for comment and stated it would update its reporting if a response was provided.

Shortly after reports about the incident were published, Ponce either deactivated or set all of her social media accounts to private.

It is not clear whether that action was taken voluntarily or in response to the growing criticism.

The incident has become part of a broader pattern of viral confrontations in retail settings, where employees are recorded by customers and posted online without consent.

In this case, the focus has centered on the treatment of the Target employee, who remained calm throughout the interaction despite being verbally insulted.

Portland’s Annual Lighting Event Avoids the Word “Christmas,” Draws Online Criticism

Portland’s annual lighting event in Pioneer Courthouse Square avoided using the word “Christmas” throughout its 41st ceremony on Friday night, referring to the city’s 75-foot fir only as “the tree” in promotional materials, stage remarks, and the program itself.

The choice drew attention as thousands gathered downtown for the event.

The ceremony opened with a woman from the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs thanking attendees for coming out on Native American Heritage Day.

She introduced two younger members of the tribe, who described the gathering solely as “the tree lighting” before turning the microphone over to the next scheduled speaker.

A woman draped in a Palestinian flag then addressed the crowd.

Early in her remarks, she said, “This is the perfect time to bring this up. There are a lot of genocides going on.”

She continued, “Can I get a ‘free, free Palestine,’” a line that prompted some in the square to respond.

She then led the “Strong Woman Song” with two children and another woman, adding that it “felt appropriate since we’re representing our matriarchs up here.”

While references to Christmas were absent from the event’s program and stage announcements, the city included a Santa Claus for photos and a sing-along of traditional carols.

Songs performed included “Angels We Have Heard on High” and “Deck the Halls,” and families lined up for photos before and after the lighting.

Mayor Keith Wilson took the stage nearly an hour into the program.

He appeared with Santa Claus and city representatives and led the countdown before the 10,000 bulbs on the tree were illuminated.

The ceremony proceeded without interruption, and attendees remained in the square as the lights came on.

After the event, social media users reacted to the omission of the word “Christmas.”

One user wrote on X, “They can’t even say Christmas tree in Portland. They call it ‘the tree.’”

Another asked, “WHY DOES everything have to be so DIVISIVE??!!”

A separate commenter wrote, “It’s a Christmas tree, it’s always been a Christmas tree, and it will always be a Christmas tree.”

Others compared Portland’s event to celebrations in other parts of the country.

“Just saw a Christmas parade in Texas and everyone was saying Merry Christmas. God bless Texas,” one user posted.

The city has not issued a statement addressing the terminology used in the ceremony or the reactions that followed.

The lighting remains one of Portland’s annual public gatherings, marking the beginning of the holiday season in the downtown area.

Oregon Dad Puts School on Blast After Hearing Sex Questions They’re Asking His 11-Year-Old

An Oregon parent raised concerns this week after learning that his 11-year-old son was set to receive a state-issued survey that asked children about their sexual orientation, gender identity, and whether they identify as transgender.

The survey, created by the Oregon Health Authority, is part of the 2024 Student Health Survey and was intended for students in sixth, eighth, and eleventh grades.

Chuck Gonzales, whose son Maxwell attends Minter Bridge Elementary School in Hillsboro, spoke with Fox News Digital on Tuesday about how he discovered the survey.

“I was made aware of this survey somehow online,” Gonzales said. He added that he “might’ve got it through an email,” but after checking the Oregon Health Authority’s website, he downloaded the PDF and confirmed the content.

“It was a survey that is asking our children grades six, eighth, and eleventh grade issued by the Oregon Health Authority,” he said.

“And the survey, it asks a lot of really confusing things to sixth graders. And one of those is it discusses and asks about their gender and sexual identity. So when I heard about this, I went to the website, downloaded the PDF form, and sure enough, it was just right there.”

The survey included questions such as “What is your gender identity,” with listed options including “girl or woman, boy or man, demigirl/demiboy, nonbinary, genderfluid, genderqueer or questioning, and agender/no gender.”

It also asked students if they are transgender, with answer choices including “Yes,” “No,” “I am not sure,” “I don’t know what this question is asking,” and “I prefer not to answer.”

Another section asked students about their sexual orientation, telling them they could select more than one answer.

Options included “straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, pansexual, asexual or aromantic, queer, questioning,” as well as “Something else fits better, Please tell us more,” “I am not sure of my sexual orientation,” “I don’t know what this question is asking,” and “I prefer not to answer.”

Gonzales said the content of the survey was not known to many families.

“When I had heard of this survey, none of the parents that I had spoken with or comments online had heard anything about it,” he said.

He added that when he posted the link to the survey, parents reached out privately asking for the link so they could opt their children out.

Gonzales said he believes the survey interferes with parental authority.

“They have no right to step on the values that we have as Christians,” he said.

“They certainly have no right to step into whatever kind of sexual values that a child doesn’t even have. They’re projecting their own ideologies on our children. So I mean, yes, it’s infuriating as a Christian and as a Catholic, but just simply as a parent and standing up for what is good based on what is clearly evil in this case.”

He encouraged parents to be involved at the local level.

“Parents, don’t be afraid to go to your city council meetings, to go to your school district meetings, but also don’t blow your gasket,” he said.

“The way that we are going to win is for us to stay in control of our own thoughts, our own words, and our own emotions.”

Gonzales posted a video to Facebook showing his son reading parts of the survey.

He wrote, “Parents, wake up! The state of Oregon is shoving invasive surveys at our 11-year-old sixth graders – yes, our KIDS – asking they spill about their ‘sexual orientation.’”

He added, “What in God’s name is happening. I’m a dad who prays day and night over my kids’ souls. I teach them right from wrong, but now, bureaucrats in Salem think they get a say? Without one word to me?”

His post continued, “It’s wrong. It’s a violation. And as a Catholic conservative, I’m done playing nice. Our children aren’t lab rats for some progressive experiment. They’re gifts from God, entrusted to us – not the state. This erodes everything: our rights, our faith, their innocence. Fellow parents, rise up! Call your reps. Flood the schools. Sign petitions. Protect the little ones – because if we don’t, who will?”

In a statement provided to Fox News Digital, Beth Graser, communications officer for the Hillsboro School District, said parents were notified ahead of time.

“Every parent/guardian received advance information about this survey in two ways: through our ParentSquare communication system and via hard copy that was sent home with students. The school received a signed opt-out form for this student and they did not participate in the survey.”

Minnesota Teachers Told to ‘Interrupt Whiteness’ as Test Scores Collapse

Minnesota’s largest teachers union is facing scrutiny over a series of professional development programs that focus on topics including “Interrupting Whiteness,” “LGBTQ+ Training,” and other race- and identity-based instruction.

The programs are listed on the Education Minnesota website and are available to members who request them for their schools.

According to the union, the “racial equity trainings” can be brought “to your building” and include courses such as “Culturally Responsive Teaching With a Racial Justice Lens” and “Cultural Competency.”

State law requires Minnesota educators to complete cultural competency training in order to renew their teaching licenses.

The state government lists topics that may be included in those trainings, such as “Systemic Racism,” “Gender Identity, Including Transgender Students,” and “Language Diversity.”

The union website also features content related to “Anti-immigrant rhetoric & deportation,” various “anti-racism” resources, and a section dedicated to “racial and social justice.”

That page states that “certain politicians” are using police officers in ways that harm minority students.

“Most of us believe that every child, no matter what they look like or where they come from, deserves a safe and welcoming school where they can thrive,” the website says.

“But certain politicians try to divide us by sending police to monitor and punish Black and brown students in schools that have been denied funding to even cover the basics, while ensuring well-resourced schools with mostly white students have enrichment activities, teacher training, and parent engagement.”

The union’s website references “the murder of George Floyd” and cites “attacks on honesty in education” as challenges it seeks to address.

Education Minnesota’s offerings are part of its “Facing Inequities and Racism in Education” (FIRE) series, which the group says is designed to “disrupt systemic racism and racial inequities in Minnesota’s education system.”

The union also runs a “Racial Equity Advocate network” and organizes events under its “Equity EdCamps” banner.

While these programs have expanded, recent academic performance data shows that more than half of Minnesota’s 4th-grade students tested below the national proficiency standard in 2024.

The same year, approximately 66% of 8th-grade students tested below proficient in math, and 72% tested below proficient in reading.

Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, former vice presidential nominee, signed legislation in 2024 that allocated funding for race-based teacher training programs and set goals for increasing the number of “diverse” teachers in the state’s schools.

In 2023, Walz approved a law requiring schools to offer “ethnic studies” courses, which begin introducing students to these topics starting in kindergarten.

Joy Reid Claims MAGA Has a New ‘N-Word,’ Floats a Conspiracy ‘Fairy Tale’

Former MSNBC host Joy Reid faced criticism this week after asserting that the word “illegal” is being used as a new epithet, prompting pushback from commentators who argued that the term has long been part of debates over immigration policy and public safety.

Reid’s remarks, made during a recent segment, centered on claims that the word “illegal” was being deployed in a derogatory way.

Her comments were met with objections from critics who said the description was inaccurate and that attempts to frame the term as an epithet were part of a broader effort to restrict language used in discussions about immigration and crime.

Critics pointed to ongoing concerns surrounding crimes committed by individuals residing in the United States unlawfully, including cases involving rape, murder, drug distribution, and drunk driving incidents.

They argued that such concerns have been central to longstanding public policy debates, not the result of newly invented terminology.

They also rejected the notion that the term “illegal” was comparable to established racial epithets, saying it referred to immigration status rather than race or ethnicity.

The discussion also included Reid’s commentary about Vice President J.D. Vance, during which she described the Make America Great Again movement as racist.

She referenced Vance’s family, noting his marriage to an Indian woman and his biracial children.

Critics responded by saying that such family details undermined accusations of racial motivations and were often narrowly interpreted by political opponents.

Reid also suggested that these dynamics were among the reasons Vance could not be a political successor within the movement.

Her remarks drew further responses from commentators who said Reid did not have direct ties to the conservative movement and therefore lacked insight into its internal dynamics.

They argued that liberal commentators frequently mischaracterize conservative voters and viewpoints, often doing so from within media environments that have limited interaction with opposing political perspectives.

Reid’s segment also touched on personal claims about Vance’s family life, including a suggestion that he would leave his wife, Usha, for Erika Kirk. Critics dismissed the remark and characterized it as unserious commentary that did not merit further response.

Reactions to Reid’s statements reflected broader tensions in national political media, including disputes over how language is used in debates about immigration enforcement and public safety.

Those who objected to Reid’s comments said her framing fit into a pattern of creating new categories of offensive language, while others defended her view as part of an effort to reconsider terminology used in political discourse.

The exchange follows a series of high-profile disputes about immigration terminology, public safety concerns, and how political movements are characterized within national media outlets.

Texas Strongman Event Erupts After Male Competitor Claims Women’s Title

The winner of the World’s Strongest Woman competition was stripped of ‘her’ title Tuesday after organizers said ‘she’ did not disclose that she was born male.

American competitor Jammie Booker was disqualified days after winning at the Official Strongman Games World Championship in Arlington, Texas, over the weekend.

Officials said Booker violated event rules requiring athletes to compete in the category matching their biological sex at birth.

“It appears that an athlete who is biologically male and who now identifies as female competed in the Women’s Open category,” organizers said in a social media statement.

“Official Strongman officials were unaware of this fact ahead of the competition and we have been urgently investigating since being informed.”

“Had we been aware, or had this been declared at any point before or during the competition, this athlete would not have been permitted to compete in the Woman’s Open category,” the statement continued.

Booker’s disqualification followed public attention on a video showing runner-up Andrea Thompson of Britain walking off the podium and expressing anger about the outcome.

Organizers said the standings will be adjusted following the disqualification.

“We are clear – competitors can only compete in the category for the biological sex recorded at birth,” the organization said.

“Official Strongman is inclusive and proud to run events which do not discriminate against athletes based on personal characteristics. Any athlete is welcome. But it is our responsibility to ensure fairness and ensure athletes are assigned to men or women’s categories based on whether they are recorded as male or female at birth.”

Boston Socialist Running for Senate Gets Roasted for Bizarre Pharmacy Claim

A little-known Massachusetts Senate candidate is drawing national attention after promoting a controversial “pharmacy desert” message that quickly went viral online.

Joe Tache, 30, is running for the U.S. Senate as a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), challenging incumbent Democrat Sen. Ed Markey.

A graduate of Northeastern University, Tache describes himself as “a youth worker, community organizer, and socialist based in Boston,” according to his campaign website.

Tache’s platform focuses on what he calls “worker exploitation, war, police brutality, gentrification, and many other issues.”

His campaign materials state that he has spent more than a decade involved in organizing efforts across Massachusetts, which he says shaped his political philosophy.

In describing his political background, Tache writes that his activism was influenced by national events including the deaths of Michael Brown, George Floyd, and Trayvon Martin, as well as the Great Recession and ongoing U.S. military conflicts.

His campaign presentation centers on addressing what he identifies as the “root cause” of social problems — capitalism.

While Tache portrays himself as a grassroots advocate, his personal background remains largely unknown.

His campaign biography provides little detail about his upbringing or family, focusing instead on his political involvement and ideological development.

In recent days, Tache’s social media activity has generated criticism following his promotion of a video highlighting what he calls “pharmacy deserts.”

The term refers to urban areas where residents live at least a half-mile away from the nearest pharmacy.

The candidate’s message drew immediate responses across social media, with users questioning the accuracy and practicality of the claim.

Critics pointed out that most residents in major cities can reach pharmacies within minutes by walking, driving, or using public transportation.

Tache’s framing of “pharmacy deserts” echoes broader left-wing terminology, such as “food deserts,” which are used to describe areas with limited access to grocery stores.

Supporters of the concept argue that low-income communities face systemic barriers to essential services, while critics contend that the conditions are often the result of other factors, including high crime rates and business closures.

Tache’s “pharmacy desert” video was widely shared on X, where users mocked the concept and questioned his grasp of daily realities faced by residents.

The backlash included comments from conservatives and independents who saw the message as emblematic of a broader disconnect between socialist talking points and practical life.

The online reaction also brought attention to Tache’s affiliation with the Party for Socialism and Liberation, a small but vocal far-left organization known for advocating systemic economic overhaul.

The PSL supports policies such as nationalized industries, the abolition of capitalism, and redistributive economic systems modeled on socialist frameworks.

Despite the viral criticism, Tache has continued to campaign on issues tied to housing, healthcare access, and workers’ rights.

His Senate run marks a rare attempt by a third-party socialist candidate to challenge a sitting Democratic incumbent in Massachusetts.

Tache’s candidacy adds another layer to an already crowded ideological field in Massachusetts politics.

While his long-term prospects remain uncertain, his “pharmacy desert” message has propelled him into a national conversation about the boundaries of socialist activism and the public’s response to far-left economic proposals.

As Tache continues his campaign, the online attention—much of it critical—has positioned him as one of the more visible socialist candidates in the country, at least for the moment.

Whether the attention translates into voter support remains to be seen, but the response to his “pharmacy desert” proposal suggests that the uphill battle ahead may be steeper than expected.

Gaza Flotilla Implodes as Muslim Activists Revolt Over LGBTQ+ Presence

A convoy of pro-Palestinian activists attempting to deliver aid to Gaza has fractured after disputes broke out between Muslim participants and LGBTQ+ campaigners on board.

Reports indicate that the clashes over ideology and identity have left the flotilla’s leadership in disarray, with several prominent figures resigning their roles.

According to the Daily Mail, Swedish activist Greta Thunberg stepped down from a leadership position due to disagreements among the flotilla organizers, though she has remained on board as a participant.

Thunberg, 22, has been involved in various protest movements but reportedly reduced her role after internal disputes erupted within the convoy.

The flotilla, made up of around 20 vessels carrying some 350 activists, began its journey on September 1 from Barcelona.

The ships displayed Palestinian flags and were loaded with supplies meant to be delivered to Gaza.

Two weeks later, the convoy docked in Tunisia to pick up additional participants and humanitarian goods before continuing its voyage.

The mission aims to challenge Israel’s blockade of Gaza and deliver aid directly to Palestinians.

However, political and ideological differences among the participants have overshadowed the effort.

In addition to reports of alleged drone activity targeting the boats, divisions have surfaced over the involvement of LGBTQ+ activists in the flotilla.

Khaled Boujemaa, the Tunisian coordinator for the convoy, publicly withdrew from the mission after learning that queer activists were participating.

“They lied to us about the identity of some of the participants on the front lines of the flotilla; I accuse the organizers of having kept this aspect hidden from us,” Boujemaa said.

His frustration reportedly centered on the involvement of Saif Ayadi, described as a “communist queer militant,” who joined the flotilla during its stop in Tunisia.

The controversy deepened when Mariem Meftah, another prominent activist with the flotilla, used social media to voice opposition to LGBTQ+ groups taking part in the mission.

Meftah argued that their presence undermined what she described as the Muslim community’s values.

“Everyone’s sexual orientation is a private matter… But being a ‘queer’ activist means touching on society’s values and taking a path that risks placing my children and loved ones in a situation we reject,” she wrote, according to a translation.

The fallout highlights the difficulties in uniting ideologically diverse groups under the same political banner.

The flotilla was intended to send a symbolic message against Israel’s restrictions on Gaza, but instead it has become embroiled in disputes among its own participants.

While the convoy remains at sea with its stated mission of delivering aid, the resignations and public disagreements have cast doubt on the ability of the movement to maintain cohesion.

Fitness Guru Joey Swoll A Mouse of a Man Groveling to the Woke

Is there anything more shameful than a grown man groveling on his moral knees in front of a camera, apologizing to the woke mob? It’s hard to believe what you’re going to see, but it’s real. And it’s about a tribute to recently deceased pro wrestling star Hulk Hogan.  More in a minute.

You’ve noticed that, for at least 10 years, the censorious and hysterical left has terrified most of the country into walking on eggshells. People are terrified of noticing reality, like disproportionate black crime, or that “transwomen” are men in lipstick. Men, especially white men, have been dragged through the #MeToo mud for so much as complimenting a woman on her outfit.

Until Donald Trump’s election in November of 2024, America was sliding deeper into a bottomless pit of what we used to call “political correctness,” but which is actually social sadism and endless punishment of “sin” without the possibility of redemption. People’s careers were destroyed because they refused to say “trans women are women,” because they questioned the deadliness of the so-called “pandemic,” or because they declined to take an experimental “vaccine” injection just because President Joe Biden ordered them to. Thankfully, 8,000 servicemen fired for exercising medical autonomy will be made whole and welcomed back under Trump.

What’s that got to do with the death of Hulk Hogan? Popular fitness “influencer” Joey Swoll put out a social media post paying tribute to the wrestling legend. And then all hell broke loose. Raging mad leftists flung profanity and crocodile tears at Joey, asking how he could praise such A Very Bad Bad Bad Bad Man.

Joey Swoll is a goodlooking, well-muscled man. But his actions on Instagram after the social media kerfuffle reveal that he’s a moral wimp. As if it were 2020 instead of 2025, Swoll put out a cringe-worth apology video.

Hulk Hogan lost his contract in 2015 because somebody leaked sound clips in which Hogan used “racially offensive” terms. Sigh. Now, Joey Swoll is pleading with angry leftists who hate him and who will never forgive him for the sin that he didn’t commit because it’s not real. In the most embarrassing part of his apology, Swoll says, “So, during last night’s livestream, I used the word ‘colored’ instead of saying ‘person of color,’ which is a very outdated and very offensive term.”

Conservative commentator Matt Walsh took Swoll the verbal woodshed. Matt’s post includes Joey Swoll’s full apology video:

Let’s take the room’s temperature.

Joey, none on the left are going to “forgive you,” and now you’re driving off masculine and conservative men who form your fan base:

Oh No! Reverse Race-Swapping Brings a New White “Black Panther”

Sometime around 10 years ago it seems like movie, TV, and comic book studios all got their hands on a “Freaky Friday” machine. Freaky Friday, both the original 1976 and 2003 remakes, told the story of a girl and her mom who somehow swap bodies on Friday the 13th. As the two experience the other one’s lives, predictable hijinks ensue.

But the studios have used the swapping machine to change the race and skin color of characters. It’s almost always in one direction, from white skin to black skin. As part of the degrading “we was kings” commentary from African supremacists (black people who think all the world’s technology and civilization was invented by African black people before whites took all the credit), modern movie makers insist on putting black people in historical pieces and genres where it’s just not credible.

Come on, a black Anne Boleyn? Or, how about a black Queen Charlotte? For some reason, the Brits themselves seem obsessively interested in degrading the actual historical figures in their past by having them portrayed by black actors who are not in any way believable as part of English history.

Take a look at a round up of movies, films, TV shows, and other recent “artistic” properties that decided to freshen up the work with race-swapping:

When the tables turn, the screaming starts. As dumb as it is to get worked up over who portrays a comic book character, nevertheless that’s what people are doing. And black commentators who loved them some race-swapping when it serviced their Hotep fantasies don’t like it so much when it means giving the white man a shot at defending Wakanda.

Apparently, the fictional comic book black country of Wakanda is getting a new white lead, and black fans are big mad.

And some people think it’s extremely funny.

This user is sad, and believes that actor Will Smith is sad along with him.
