Family of Confessed Stabber Karmelo Anthony Says He’s the Real Victim

The most effective kind of lying is the “reversal.” It’s what it sounds like. You simply reverse truth and falsehood, and do it with bravado. Sadly, it almost always works, especially if the lie is delivered with dramatic emotion.

Say you collide with someone’s car in a grocery parking lot with your cart, putting a huge dent in the car while the person was backing out of a parking. You, with your cart, didn’t bother to look before you walked behind the car, which was backing out slowly and responsibly. But you don’t want to be blamed, and you want to make onlookers believe the driver did something to you, rather than the other way around. So you start yelling or crying, and saying “She backed out too fast and didn’t even look! She could have killed me!”

Chances are in America in 2025, that ploy would work. We are conditioned to believe melodramatic claims of victimhood, because we’re all afraid of being accused of being “bigoted” or “insensitive.” This tendency blinds us to obvious lies from people who caused their own sorry situation but want to blame it on an innocent party.

It scales all the way up to alleged murder. You’ve seen the coverage of the killing of 17-year-old white high school student Austin Metcalf. According to what we know so far, Metcalf told a black teen, Karmelo Anthony, that he was seated in the wrong spot at the the track meet they were attending. Though media reports conflict, it appears that Metcalf may have tried to move Anthony’s gear bag.

So, naturally, Karmelo Anthony took out the big knife he had purposefully brought to the track meet and plunged it into Metcalf’s heart, killing him. Everyone knows what’s probably going on, but few want to say it. Young black men, statistically, are extraordinarily violent and likely to fly off the handle if anyone “disses” them. Being “dissed” includes being asked to move, or being told, even in the smallest way, that you’re doing something you’re not supposed to do.

Almost unbelievably, the family of alleged murderer Karmelo Anthony (and he admitted to cops on scene that he stabbed Austin Metcalf) is claiming that he, the knife wielder, is the actual victim. Not only that, but the family has set up online fundraisers for Anthony. You have to see it to believe it.

Commentator Matt Walsh pointed it out on X:

This is the second fundraiser by the Anthony family, since they were kicked off the platform GoFundMe. Here’s what their original fundraiser said. Does this sound like a family that cares even a little bit that their son just killed a 17-year-old?

As of this writing, the family of the confessed killer has raised  almost $170,000. Let’s see what X users had to say.

Frustratingly but not shockingly, there are tons of people, black and white, who think the killer is actually the victim.

Social Media Users Debate If It’s Really Murder if Victim is White

Until America’s woke phase beginning in about 2015, most of us wouldn’t have believed that our friends, family, and neighbors could believe as they believe, and act as they have acted. When the government violated the constitution during the “pandemic,” the vast majority of adult citizens rolled over and took it. They shut their businesses down, they obeyed illegal orders and stayed inside their homes. But more, millions of Americans cheered these legal and civil liberties violations while turning their own family in to snitch lines.

We are not the people we thought we were; now we know how many of us would have been good Germans.

But our compliance, our cooperation with “authorities” who work against our own interests, didn’t pop up overnight. For decades Americans have been under a set of moral myths that developed during the Civil Rights movement in the 1960s. The movement did not merely and only bring fair legal enfranchisement to black people, a goal all civilized people shared. It went further, and made saints out of black people and demons out of whites.

In 2025, the seeds sown in the 60s are blossoming into rotten fruit. Despite the obvious reality of wildly disproportionate criminal violence committed by blacks, “respectable” media and white Americans won’t tell the truth. They blame white people for the actions of black criminals, going so far as to excuse or justify murders of white people when a black person feels like expressing displeasure.

The recent killing of white 17-year-old high school track competitor Austin Metcalf by, allegedly, a black teen, is a case in point. According to sources so far, Metcalf was at a track meet and noticed the teen sitting in his (Metcalf’s) assigned spot. When the other teen refused to move, Metcalf allegedly moved the teens’s backpack. This, according to online commentary, justified the black teen stabbing Metcalf in the heart.

Take this example:

That’s right. It’s socially acceptable in 21st century American to justify an apparent murder when the victim is white and pissed off a black man who didn’t want to follow the rules of courtesy. Mr. Baggz calls anyone pointing this out a “white supremacist.”

Let’s see what onlookers had to say. We’ve got some other black commentators who also think it’s cool to kill if you feel dissed:

Not everyone, though.

Manslaughter Charge Against Daniel Penny Dropped – How Did We Even Get Here in the First Place?

The Daniel Penny subway trial is winding up as of press time, and the jury is in deliberations after the judge in the case dropped the manslaughter charge against Penny. More on this below, but first, how the hell did this trial even happen? How did we get here?

Millions of Americans are tired of “woke” politics. Race-based grievances, special rights for minority groups, total social censure of non-left voices, and non-step leftist economic policies are a big part of why the country elected Trump this fall.

Not only has the U.S. lost social and moral cohesion over the past few decades, but we have also lost belief in some of the most fundamental rights that everyone used to agree on. Self-defense is one of them. We’re all used to Democrat politicians trying to chip away at the Second Amendment right to bear arms, and that’s bad enough, but it doesn’t stop there.

We appear to be losing the belief in our own right to defend our lives and the lives of those around us. How else can we explain the shockingly ignorant public response to the Kyle Rittenhouse trial? Rittenhouse traveled to Kenosha, Wisconsin, in August of 2020 to help protect the town and its businesses as BLM protesters rioted and set fires to buildings in protest of the police shooting of a black man. Several men attacked Rittenhouse, and he fired, killing two of them.

The country went insane. Many liberals believed, absent evidence, that Rittenhouse killed “unarmed black men.” The men who attacked him, and whom he shot, were not black, and at least one of them tried to take Rittenhouse’s gun as Rittenhouse lay on the ground trying to defend himself. He was acquitted, but only barely, as the media and politicians almost succeeded in painting the innocent teen as a monster when he was the one under attack.

The same thing has happened to subway hero Daniel Penny, who is on trial in New York City (the jury is deliberating as this story is written) for allegedly killing subway menace Jordan Neely. The media worked overtime to portray Neely, a mentally unstable criminal and drug user with a long rap sheet, as an innocent and friendly “Michael Jackson impersonator” – as opposed to someone who threatens to murder their fellow subway passengers. This is what they always do when violent black men are pushed back against by their targets.

Neely entered a subway and started threatening passengers, causing mothers to huddle in fear with their children behind strollers. Penny, a former marine who looks like Errol Flynn, put Neely in a chokehold until police could arrive. Contrary to initial media reports, Neely did not die on the subway, he died later at a hospital.

Race-baiting, dishonest New York City prosecutor Alvin Bragg (the same man who went after Donald Trump in court over “hush money” payments to Stormy Daniels), charged Penny with manslaughter. It was obvious from the beginning that black Alvin Bragg intended to scalp a white man, even though he appears to be a hero, not a thug.

But as of yesterday, presiding judge Maxwell Wiley has dropped the manslaughter charge, leaving Penny to face a charge of criminally negligent homicide. Though the name of the crime sounds worse, it actually carries a lesser sentence than manslaughter.

Penny should never have been arrested, let alone charged. But this is the United States in 2024, and if you’re white, male, or a Republican, a good half the country does not believe you have the moral or legal right to protect yourself and others from assault or murder.

Let’s see how X/Twitter users are reacting.

Far-Left Race Baiting Publication Thinks Trump Is Bringing Slavery Back

You knew it was coming.

“The Root” is a radical leftist magazine by and for blacks. But it’s not like black magazines from the mainstream, like Jet or Ebony. It’s as woke as woke can get. For the staff of The Root, there is no such thing as a morally honorable white person, and there is no such thing as a white person who is not racist.

You are already picture the exact kind of ideological drivel they peddle.

Though they would never say it candidly and would scream and protest if someone pushed them on it, the magazine thinks white people are born devils. Call it WDS-”White Derangement Syndrome.” They especially hate competent conservative white women such as former Fox News journalist-turned-podcaster Megyn Kelly:

“Karen,” when used by radical black activists, means “white woman we don’t like.” Why don’t they like Megyn Kelly? Because Kelly recognizes that nightly MSNBC ranter in chief Joy Reid is a narcissistic, dishonest blowhard who can’t seem to figure out who she is judging by the parade of wigs featured weekly on her show. Just take a look at one of them….

That’s enough.

So, what’s The Root on about today? The return of slavery under Donald Trump!

Yes. Really.

They write:

“It’s a question Black Americans have been asking for a while, and now that former President Donald Trump has won back the Oval Office, it’s on everyone’s mind: Can slavery make an official comeback?”

Notice carefully: official comeback. This is an actual “dog whistle,” a coded bit of language that signals to radical black readers, “Slavery is still happening in America, we just don’t call it slavery for some reason.”

Here’s more:

“Reflexively, the answer to this seemingly crazy question should be “hell no,” but if you take just five minutes to Google it, you’d be surprised to know we’re not too far from that reality. In 2022, slavery was on the ballot in five states, according to AP News. Talk show host and author Tavis Smiley expressed growing fears of slavery right before the 2016 election. Going back to the 13th Amendment, legal loopholes still allow for slavery today.”

Wow. The Associated Press? It must be true. But is it? When you click on the link, you find out otherwise (emphasis added):

“More than 150 years after slaves were freed in the U.S., voters in five states will soon decide whether to close loopholes that led to the proliferation of a different form of slavery — forced labor by people convicted of certain crimes.

That’s right. The practice of forcing convicted criminals to do hard labor is now “slavery.” And what’s more, Donald Trump is gonna bring it back. Therefore, Trump is bringing back slavery in the minds of The Root.

I’d say this kind of reasoning is “unbelievable,” but really, is anything unbelievable from the radical identity politics left?

Let’s see what X/Twitter users had to say on The Root’s thread about the article.

Bombshell in Daniel Penny Subway Case: Police Detected Pulse on Jordan Neely and Refused to Provide CPR

No reasonable person can help but strongly suspect that the prosecution of Daniel Penny is what the Brits call a “stitch-up.”

Penny, the young former Marine with an Errol Flynn look, tried to protect NYC subway passengers from an erratic man who was threatening to hurt people on the train. In May of 2023, Jordan Neely, 30 (black), was acting erratically on the subway. According to witnesses, Neely was behaving in a threatening fashion, saying things like, “I don’t care if I die. I don’t care if I go to jail.”

According to Penny and witnesses, Neely lunged at passengers and convinced people he was a threat to their safety (Neely was threatening to kill train riders). Penny jumped into action and subdued Neely with a chokehold. Neely later died, and the media immediately went into racism overdrive.

CNN described Neely, who was homeless and who had a rap sheet with 42 arrests, as simply a “homeless black man” who was a beloved “Michael Jackson impersonator.” All the photos used to depict him were chosen to present Neely as unthreatening. The narrative was set: Penny was a White Devil who Murdered a Poor Innocent Oppressed Black Man.

But worse, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (famous for prosecuting Donald Trump over “hush money” payments), also black and with a chip on his shoulder, slapped Penny with manslaughter charges. Prosecutors claim Penny “went way too far,” and should have stopped trying to restrain the aggressive man.  The implication is clear: prosecutors want to convince a jury and the public that Penny was not a hero, but a racist murderer.

And we wonder why Americans are increasingly unwilling to come to each other’s aide when in distress. Careful–if you protect your own life or someone else’s against a black person you may end up imprisoned for having the gall to want to survive.

But my, how the worm turned in court on November 1. Thank God for the Daily Mail, or most of us wouldn’t know that, lo and behold, Jordan Neely still had a pulse after police and medics arrived on the scene. Despite their efforts at CPR, Neely died later in the hospital.

Take a look at Google’s news page: Would you have had any idea that such a crucial fact had come out in public if not for the single Daily Mail story?

It gets worse for the prosecution when you read the testimony of the cops on scene. One unnamed NYPD Sergeant said his cops did not perform “mouth to mouth” on Neely because “he seemed to be a drug user. . .he was an apparent drug user. He was very dirty. I didn’t want [my officers] to get hepatitis.”

To quote Rugg’s commentary in full:

NEW: Jordan Neely had a pulse after being put in a chokehold by Marine veteran Daniel Penny but NYPD declined mouth-to-mouth because they were afraid of getting hepatitis.

Neely was so dirty that officers didn’t feel safe performing CPR.

Penny is charged with manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide after he defended Subway riders from Neely who was threatening to kill them.

An NYPD Sergeant said no one wanted to give mouth-to-mouth because they didn’t want to get hepatitis and Neely was very dirty. “He seemed to be a drug user… he was an apparent drug user. He was very dirty. I didn’t want them to get hepatitis.” “If he did wake up he would have been vomiting. I didn’t want my officers to do that.” “He was filthy. He looked like a homeless individual. You have to protect your officer.” “I wouldn’t want my officer to get sick if the person throws up.”

Does any of this make sense? Who can look at this and see Daniel Penny as anything other than a sacrifice to racial narcissism and untouchability in 21st century America. No honest person believes Penny would be in the dock if he were not white, and Neely were not black.
