Facebook Apologizes After Censoring Iconic Donald Trump Photograph

An instantly iconic photograph took social media by storm in the wake of the assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

Moments after being shot at a rally in Butler, PA, the former president raised his fist and yelled “Fight! Fight! Fight!” towards supporters.

A close-up taken by Associated Press photographer Evan Vucci captured the moment of a bloodied, defiant Trump standing up for democracy.

However, the powers-that-be at Facebook are now trying to dispute its existence entirely. One user who shared the photo immediately after the shooting on Saturday, July 13, found that it had been flagged as “false information.”

The Mark Zuckerberg-owned social media platform warned that those “who regularly share false information may have their posts moved lower” in the news feeds of other users, thus meaning “other people are less likely to see them”.

Many users described the notice as “election interference” by the Meta-operated site (which is nothing new for them).

Others presented a less favorable perception of the platform.

Another user called for a boycott.

Meta Public Affairs Director Dani Lever later apologized for “error.”

“This fact check was initially applied to a doctored photo showing the secret service agents smiling, and in some cases our systems incorrectly applied that fact check to the real photo,” she said in a statement. “This has been fixed and we apologize for the mistake.”

Gab CEO Reveals Pro-Democrat Posts By Donald Trump Shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks

Thomas Matthew Crooks, the gunman at the infamous Donald Trump rally in Butler, PA, on Saturday, July 13, reportedly used the controversial right-wing social media platform Gab to express his “support of President [Joe] Biden.”

CEO Andrew Torba announced the news on Wednesday, July 24, after the company “received an emergency disclosure request” from law enforcement officials investigating the assassination attempt. Torba added that the company was “unable to confirm that the account in question actually belonged” to Crooks, which only posted nine times in February 2021.

The majority of the posts from the “epicMicrowave” account believed to have been Crooks’ were in support of President Biden. Most focused on a Biden administration executive order regarding immigration, although the account also posted a number of times concerning the results of the 2020 presidential election.

A sampling of his alleged comments can be read below.

CEO Torba – who is a vocal critic of Joe Biden and the left – issued an additional statement on Thursday, July 25.

“Yesterday, in the process of responding to an emergency disclosure request from a U.S. law enforcement agency, Gab learned that a pro-Biden/Harris account on the site was believed to have belonged to Thomas Matthew Crooks, who attempted to assassinate President Trump,” Torba wrote on X. “After backing up the account, we notified the public.”

Torba added that the site had “published the first evidence making it very apparent that Crooks was a left-wing partisan who hated President Trump’s immigration policies”.

However, he was unable to confirm which agency had issued the search warrant due to the ongoing investigation.

The Mainstream Media Is Deleting Previous Reporting About Kamala Harris

Barring yet another shocking moment in a rollercoaster campaign, Vice President Kamala Harris will be the Democratic Party’s nominee for the 2024 presidential election.

Although Harris has been in the limelight as Vice President, the media attention towards her has increased substantially given that there’s a possibility she could become the 47th President of the United States.

Of course, when something is published on the internet, it can remain online indefinitely.

As deleting stories is generally frowned upon, editors may choose to amend a story years after initial publication if they no longer agree with the original copy – but in the case of Harris, many are trying to simply pretend their past repotting on Harris never existed in the first place.

Prominent lawyer John LeFevre discovered instances of this in relation to Vice President Harris.

In one instance, Axois reported that it was a myth that Kamala Harris was border czar, which they themselves referred to her as in multiple articles in 2021.

They’ve since updated their latest reporting denying that Harris is border czar by claiming their past reporting was wrong.

Another example, this time by GovTrack, noted Harris to be “the most left-leaning senator in 2019” – a statement which was removed as Harris’ “entire tenure in the senate showed a different story.”

Bizarrely, they didn’t seem to think telling this “different story” was important until right after Biden dropped out of the race.

Lastly, Democrats are desperate to claim that it’s “racist” to refer to Kamala Harris as a DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) hire.

But as it turns out, the White House already effectively called her that themselves.

And in that case, you can still access Biden saying that on the White House website.

The fact that mainstream media outlets are resorting to such desperation brings the media industry into disrepute. Clarifications should be used to correct misinformation, spellings, or add contextual information, rather than to change views of the past to appease the present.

There’s also a question of precedent. If media outlets are reviewing historical articles, shouldn’t they all be updated, rather than just concerning the Democrat nominee?

A rhetorical question, admittedly.

“So what?” – Champion Boxer Mike Tyson Defends Support For Donald Trump

Former world heavyweight champion boxer Mike Tyson has come out in support of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Tyson, who is set to return to the ring later this year to face influencer Jake Paul, was appearing on a podcast when he endorsed the former president, adding that he “made a lot of money” under Republican presidents compared to Democratic ones.

“So what,” he told the podcast when announcing his support. “If I like Donald Trump and I wanna vote for him, so what?”

Watch the full clip below:

Some on social media drew a comparison with Tyson’s formidability during the prime of his boxing career.

Another user wondered whether anyone would actually challenge Tyson over his political standpoints.

Others also pledged their support for the Republican nominee.

Iron Mike has made a number of comments about Trump in recent years having recently compared the conviction against him to the treatment of Black Americans in the legal system.

RFK Jr. Warned Democrats Against Rigging Elections, But They Just Wouldn’t Listen

In one of the most contentious months in modern American political history, the other shoe finally dropped for Democrats as President Joe Biden, racked with COVID and besieged by his own party, finally threw in the towel and withdrew his candidacy for re-election as President.

While many have been caught up in the Democratic whirlwind since Biden’s atrocious debate performance which exposed Biden’s apparent cognitive decline, many astute political observers had been sounding the alarm that Biden may not make it to November, let alone another four years in office.

Among those who can credibly say “I told you so” to the Democratic machine is Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the Democrat-turned-independent candidate for President who had the temerity to primary Biden at a time when the DNC was more interested in a coronation rather than a competition.

In an interview with Fox News, RFK Jr. recalls how, over a year ago, he was telling anyone who would listen how the DNC was rigging its own primary process: “[The DNC] changed sixty different rules to make it impossible for anyone to challenge Joe Biden. One of the things… that they did to me is – I’d been campaigning in New Hampshire, so they adopted a rule that said that any Democratic candidate who campaigns in New Hampshire – who steps foot into the state of New Hampshire… all of their delegates would go to the President. And, they shut down the Florida primary they shut down a bunch of primaries [and] just said “we’re not running them, we already have our candidate.”

Rigging primaries is nothing new for the DNC. Many will recall the DNC’s insidious use of “super-delegates,” a group of convention delegates who are seated automatically who, prior to 2018, were free to support any presidential candidate in all ballot rounds. These “super-delegates” spelled the downfall of Sen. Bernie Sanders’s presidential bid in 2016 who, despite performing well at the polls, could not overcome the hundreds of super-delegates who pledged their support to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton before a single vote had been cast.

“In other words, the establishment determined who the anointed candidate will be before the first voters got into the process,” Sanders told a clearly frustrated crowd back in May of 2016

Today, the means may have changed, but the motive remains the same.

True to form, the DNC is now contemplating convention rules that would help drag Vice President Kamala Harris, the new establishment consensus pick to be the party’s standard bearer, across the finish line. While most of the party, including the Clintons and several prominent elected officials, line up behind Harris (who inherits the Biden-Harris coffers – and the $90 million within them – and the Biden-Harris national campaign apparatus) several key Democrats have yet to signal their support, including the Obama family, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY). Perhaps their hesitancy stems from Harris’s atrocious presidential campaign in 2020, where she failed to earn a single delegate.

While all that is out in the ether remains speculative, what we do know is that RFK, Jr. is, once again, warning everyone of the DNC’s second attempt to rig the 2024 election. “The indication now… is that the party elites won’t let go of the process,” RFK, Jr. said.

He would know. RFK, Jr. readily recalls the 1968 DNC convention in Chicago, where the incumbent Democrat refused the nomination, where an assassin tragically changed the trajectory of the race by killing his father, and where Democrats had no nominee. What resulted was a rancorous, riotous affair that left a very negative impression on the American public.

History may not repeat itself, but it certainly rhymes, as Democrats face similar prospects heading back to a Chicago convention in a few weeks time with an incumbent dropping out, with an attempted assassination changing the race’s tenor and trajectory, and with no nominee.

How ironic it is that the party who calls former President Donald Trump a threat to democracy rarely practices what it preaches. For years now, the DNC has ignored the will of the people and disenfranchised its own voters because, for the DNC, there is no truth but power. Democracy is too messy of a process to leave up to chance for the DNC; they must gain and maintain power regardless of the tortuous and hypocritical rhetorical contortions necessary to obtain it.

As things stand now, the DNC, having made one strategic mistake in clearing the primary field for a “Weekend at Bernie’s” candidate in Joe Biden, seem ready to do the same for Harris at the DNC convention in Chicago, who not only did not campaign to earn his spot, but who has never earned a single delegate in her national political career

Once again, RFK Jr. is the canary in the Democratic coal mine signaling to everyone how disastrous their un-democratic choices may be. Ignore him at your own peril.

Elon Musk Adds Iconic Donald Trump Photo To #MAGA Hashtag On X

Social media platform X has a new “hashmoji” for supporters of Donald Trump.

A hashmoji is a hashtag on X which features an accompanying image. It is typically used for major ongoing events such as elections, television series or sporting events like the Olympic Games.

When users post #MAGA (Make America Great Again), their post will feature a small version of the iconic image of Trump just moments after he was shot at a rally in Butler, PA, on Saturday, July 13.

In addition to #MAGA, users who search #Trump2024 will see a flurry of American flags rain down on their desktop screen.

Many users were delighted to by the addition when it was announced on the social media platform.

Others suggested alternative options for supporters of Joe Biden’s campaign.

Of course, not everyone was best pleased with the new addition, with one leftist directing their anger towards owner of X Elon Musk, accusing him of “trying to rig” the election.

Following the attempt on the former president’s life, Musk endorsed the Republican immediately afterwards. Since then, the world’s richest man has defended his position, and said Trump is “obviously better” than the incumbent President.

Musk’s support for Biden’s challenger has frustrated the Democrat. On Thursday, July 18, Biden said he was “sick of Elon Musk and his rich buddies trying to buy this election”. While a somewhat clever post given his recent COVID-19 diagnosis, Biden’s anti-Musk resentment comes due to the billionaire’s influence and power as the owner of X.

“You’re the Cause of Our Country Being Divided” – Marjorie Taylor-Greene Slams Reporter At Republican National Convention

House Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene has been lauded after slammed a reporter’s “ridiculous” questions at the Republican National Convention.

The Republican and staunch supporter of Donald Trump was speaking to Times Radio reporter Jo Crawford about the nomination of J.D. Vance as the Republican presidential nominee’s running mate.

Crawford asked a number of questions on Vance’s previous comments, including about his past criticisms of Trump, as well as more recent remarks over the election of the Labour Party government in the United Kingdom.

On the latter, Rep. Taylor-Greene pointed out that President Joe Biden had compared MAGA Republicans to fascists and Hitler.

“[Biden] completely lied, demonizing him, so much so that a young man – a 20-year-old, which is hard to imagine – actually climbed on to a roof and tried to murder President Trump,” said the Georgia Representative.

Taylor-Greene then took aim at the reporter and other members of the mainstream media, accusing them of facilitating claims and misquoting politicians.

“You’re ridiculous, and you’re the problem in our country,” she added, before accusing Crawford of political activism. “You’re the cause of our country being divided. You’re the cause of President Trump of almost being assassinated,” she continued before terminating the interview.

Give the full exchange a watch below:

Some on social media agreed wholeheartedly with MTG’s comments.

Others pondered whether the exchange raised questions about the mainstream media in general.

Likewise, a well-received comment suggested that it was not the media as a whole which was at fault, but certain reporters or publications which strive to create division.

Wife of WaPo Columnist Who Argued Trump Is Russian Asset Is Indicted for Being Unregistered Foreign Agent

Taking pleasure in the misfortunes of others—schadenfreude—is one of the main attractions of social media spots like X/Twitter. Of course, whether taking that pleasure is justified is in the eye of the beholder/

X user Jarvis is certainly indulging it with the news he highlighted this week:

As you can see from the screenshot, Max Boot of the Washington Post, like most mainstream media, happily kept the false narrative about Donald Trump being a Russian puppet alive and kicking. The storyline that Trump was working for the Kremlin was just too delicious for leftist media to stop before they’d savored every last bite.

But similar allegations are hitting much closer to home for Boot. His wife, Sue Mi Terry, has just been indicted on charges of acting as a agent for a foreign government. Terry is a former member of the White House National Security Council and used to work for the CIA.

The indictment alleges that she worked on behalf of South Korea without registering as a foreign agent as required by law. Specifically, she is accused of pushing for policies favored by the South Korean government, and of disclosing sensitive U.S. information to South Korean government officials.

The indictment filed in federal court in Manhattan claims Terry did this work in exchange for luxury gifts such as handbags from designers like Gucci, and for cash. Terry’s lawyer says the accusations are false, and that his client is a respected scholar and foreign policy analyst.

Whatever may eventually wash out in court, social media users are tickled that a journalist who helped keep falsehoods about Trump circulating will now have to contend with similar issues in his personal life.

Jarvis, the original poster, set the tone:

Do we detect some mockery of the left’s constant claims of being victimized in this exchange?

It’s clear that much of the public is absolutely fed up with the “do as I say, not as I do” lifestyle of today’s leftist elites.

White Men’s Access To Guns Blamed For Donald Trump Assassination Attempt by The View

Donald Trump miraculously survived an assassination attempt on his life on Saturday.

The former president was targeted by Thomas Matthew Crooks – a 20-year-old who had previously donated $15 to progressive causes. His motive remains officially “unclear” (though it’s pretty obvious) and little about his background is known.

Nevertheless, it’s pertinent that he had a long interest in rifles having had a membership at a local shooting club as well as allegedly failing to make his high school rifle team due to poor aim.

So, who did The View choose to blame for this attack with no known motive?

White men, of course!

Specifically, co-hosts Ana Navarro and Joy Behar pointed the accessibility to guns for white men.

“[The assassin] was a 20-year-old, lone wolf, White, whack job with easy access to a gun,” said Navarro. “It wasn’t a drag queen, it wasn’t an immigrant, it wasn’t a pissed off liberal woman – and this keeps happening.”

Behar was equally critical, questioning why a “20-year-old White guy” was not reported for purchasing 50 rounds of ammunition prior to the shooting. This is especially bizarre once you consider that among the male demographic, white men are the second *least* likely to commit gun homicides (after Asians,) with Black men committing such offenses at 20 times the rate of white men in some years.

Neither Navarro nor Behar referenced the hostile political climate which contributed to the first assassination attempt on a U.S. President in 43 years. Arguably, both politicians and the mainstream media have contributed to such a divisive atmosphere, which many were keen to point out on social media platform X.

Others questioned why The View had been permitted to air in the wake of the weekend’s events when Morning Joe had been pulled by MSNBC.

CNN Host Melts Down at Rep. Cory Mills Over Security Failures at Trump Rally

It may be cliché to point to CNN as the premiere example of a failed news organization, but there isn’t a better example of what happens to media when the emotions and political proclivities of its staff override journalistic integrity.

And there isn’t a better recent example than this exchange between CNN anchor Kate Bolduan and Republican House Rep. Cory Mills of Florida. Mills was brought on to discuss how the Secret Service handled security at Donald Trump’s July 13 rally at Butler, Pennsylvania. We can all see the result—20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks shot at the president, nearly putting a bullet in his brain while the crowd screamed in panic.

We’re now seeing video on social media with people claiming to have seen Crooks maneuvering to get on top of a nearby roof with a clear line of sight, begging police to do something about it, to no avail. Well, Rep. Mills is a former Army sniper and he’s displeased with the Secret Service, to put it mildly.

During the interview he listed numerous apparent failures, most obviously the fact that Crooks was able to get on top of the building roof with no one stopping him, and no agents stationed on that roof. Mills called it an “obvious” spot for a shooter to go for. He said he was left scratching his head about the Service’s decision-making process.

“I’m having a very difficult time not leaning myself toward . . .this was intentional as opposed to fecklessness.”

That’s when CNN anchor Bolduan began to lose it. Visibly agitated, she interrupted Mills and said with obvious emotion in her voice that he was “leaning toward” being a conspiracy theorist:

She interrupts him repeatedly like a scolding schoolteacher, clearly trying to get him to stop speculating about even the possibility that some of the security failures might have been intentional. Despite Mills trying to explain to her that he is pointing out why an investigation is necessary, Bolduan is clearly upset and alarmed that she cannot force him to stop speaking.

“Is it not dangerous? Is it not reckless to even be throwing around the word intentional?” she said, repeatedly moving her hand toward him in a “shush” gesture. You can see her clenching her jaw and sighing while squirming in her chair. “Mommy” was clearly upset. At one point, she even said, “I’m so uncomfortable right now.”

Are you feeling confident in your ability as an American to hear the news and information you need?

Twitter/X users were, in the main, not impressed with Bolduan.

Several users obviously wanted to hear more from the expert, Rep. Mills, and less from what some called the “blonde woman on CNN.”

It brings to mind the line from Don Henley’s famous song “Dirty Laundry”: “Bubble-headed bleach blonde comes on at five.”

How you rate CNN on this one? Tell us in the comments.
