Kamala Harris’ Attempts To Change Debate Rules Offer Reminder Of The Last Time She Ran For The Presidency

Kamala Harris is hardly renowned for her fondness or scrutiny or challenging debate.

The Vice President has only agreed to one debate so far on ABC, where she will face Republican challenger Donald Trump in the first debate between the two political rivals.

Reportedly, the ABC debate on Tuesday, September 10, will follow a similar format to that of the CNN debate between Trump and President Joe Biden earlier this year. Microphones will be muted when it is not one candidate’s turn to speak, with no audience, pre-written notes or props permitted.

Harris, however, has been reportedly trying to amend the debate rules ahead of her first one-on-one with the former president. The muting of microphones is a particular sticking point for the Harris campaign despite Trump’s public non-preference over the issue. In fact, the muting was requested by Biden’s campaign team ahead of the CNN debate back in June following the chaos of the 2020 presidential debates, as presumably they thought it would be to the benefit of Biden. Clearly, they’re having second thoughts.

Many conservative commentators have alluded to Harris’ poor performance against the now-independent Tulsi Gabbard in the race for the Democratic nomination in 2019.

In that debate, Gabbard tore Harris’ track record as Attorney General for California to shreds, effectively killing off any momentum the then-Sen.’s campaign had.

Trump has pulled in Gabbard to help with his debate prep against Harris.

Social media users offered their own insight as to why Harris was seeking to amend the rules for her first debate in four years.

Another commentor expressed surprised that ABC was standing its ground over the debate rules.

Joe Rogan Slams MSNBC For Taking “Out Of Context” Remarks About Kamala Harris

Podcaster and veteran UFC commentator Joe Rogan slammed MSNBC for editing a clip to make it appear that he’s praising Vice President Kamala Harris.

The clip featured Rogan praising former Democratic Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, but was manipulated to appear as if the remarks were made about Harris. His comments were taken from two separate clips and mashed together as if his praise was for the Democratic presidential nominee.

Rogan brushed aside rumors that he planned to sue MSNBC but said, “They took a clip of me talking about Tulsi Gabbard and they edited it up and made it look like I was saying great things about Kamala Harris.”

“I was talking about Tulsi Gabbard being a congresswoman for eight years and about how she served overseas in two deployments in medical units dealing with people who were blown up from the war. Like that’s not something Kamala Harris did,” Rogan added.

The Joe Rogan Experience host said that his comments were taken “out of context” and shared to an audience who do not regularly watch his content.

Saying that MSNBC “don’t care about the truth”, Rogan added, “They just want a narrative to get out there amongst enough people because most people are just surface readers.”

MSNBC has since deleted the video and added a disclaimer. Nevertheless, concerns remain about the impact the mashed video may have had.

Others noted that such actions by leftist media outlets may drive more people away from the Harris camp.

Many called for Rogan to invite Donald Trump as a guest, particularly given Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s recent endorsement of the Republican.

MSNBC’s Ari Melber Threatens To Sue Donald Trump Advisor In Heated Televised Clash

MSNBC broadcaster Ari Melber launched a furious tirade against Donald Trump advisor Corey Lewandowski on live television in which he threatened to sue the former president’s aide for defamation.

The controversy erupted following a Fox News article reporting on prior remarks made by Melber regarding the bandage on Trump’s ear in the aftermath of the assassination attempt against his life in Butler, PA. A segment from Melber’s show was referenced where the broadcast quote a New York Times article about Trump being his own “biggest prop”. It noted the “large white bandage on his injured right ear”, describing it as “a blank rectangle on which the crowd could read what it wished, and that made it the most potent placard in the hall.”

Reacting to the piece, Melber said, “That’s fair. A placard for delegates to fill in, an image for political mobilization, a spectacle, for this candidate who we know is by his own admission obsessed with assorted spectacles.”

But on Wednesday’s broadcast, Melber had a change of tune and lost it when Lewandowski made reference to it.

“So you didn’t say this bandage was a proper spectacle from a candidate who’s obsessed with spectacles?” Lewandowski asked.

“Mr. Lewandowski, I did not say that. That is a false quote,” Melber responded. “What you have is a false quote. I’m putting you on notice. If you continue to repeat falsely that I said that, you will be potentially in a defamation situation because I didn’t say that.”

Watch the insanity for yourself below:

Social media users reacted to a video which featured the controversial remark and threat of a lawsuit.

Another user had praise for Lewandowski.

CNN Forced To Fact-Check The Democrats’ False Claims Over Project 2025

The Democratic National Convention and CNN are akin to two peas in a pod.

Although their roles should be separate – a political party and the fourth estate are only hand in hand in state-controlled media landscapes – the two share one thing in common: a passionate hatred of Donald Trump. This isn’t saying much, as nearly the entity of the media behaves like this – and has served as the Democratic Party’s PR wing for decades.

Nevertheless, in its duty to appear impartial, CNN ran a fact-check on the Democrats’ claims over Project 2025. Often associated with the Republican nominee, Project 2025, according to Democrats, is Trump’s plans for office should he win the election in November.

After three days of playing on voters’ concerns over the policy document, CNN destroyed the DNC’s main argument in a single, 30-second segment. The network aired a clip of Delaware Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester in which she claimed Trump “wrote” Project 2025.

However, CNN – to their full credit – rebuked the claim saying it was “false”.

“Trump did not write Project 2025,” said broadcaster Daniel Dale. “The project’s big policy document, published by the Heritage Foundation thinktank, lists dozens of people as authors, editors, contributors; Donald Trump is not among them.”

Many on social media were stunned by the apparent change of heart by CNN. Of course, we shouldn’t be fooled – as this kind of reporting from them is something we only see once in a blue moon. After all, they only managed to spend 30 seconds on this rebuttal.

Dale laughably claimed elsewhere that the Democratic National Convention speeches had “very few falsehoods or misleading statements.” But as Newsweek’s Paul du Quenoy pointed out, solely of Biden’s speech:

At times, Biden’s mendacity veered into economic policy. Evil billionaires, he menaced, are only paying 8.2 percent of their income in taxes, a debunked calculation identified as “way too low” even by PBS and the Left-leaning Brookings Institution, which both place the figure above 20 percent. Biden’s 8.2 percent figure, a biased product of his administration’s own economists, derives from partial federal income tax calculations rather than the less politically expedient actual figures. It also doesn’t register that over 40 percent of American households pay no income tax at all, or the fact that in actual numbers, the top 1 percent pays over 45 percent of all taxes paid in the U.S.

Trade relations, too, fell victim to the addled president’s dishonesty when he boasted of job creation in relation to exports. The unavoidable mathematical fact, however, is that the $901 billion trade deficit of 2020 ballooned to over $1 trillion in Biden’s first year in office and has never gone below that figure since. “Bidenomics,” or “Kamalanonics,” as it now being called, has made America poorer, especially in the post-industrial Midwestern swing states that are certain to decide the election in November.

And that’s just one topic of one speech.

Others were angered by the Democrats’ continual insistence that Project 2025 is a Trump-authored policy.

Disney Axes Woke Series “The Acolyte,” Upsets Extremist Woke Fans

Disney’s latest Star Wars venture, “The Acolyte,” has been abruptly canceled after just one season.

Controversial ‘Woke’ Series Axed

Disney+ pulled the plug on “The Acolyte,” a Star Wars series overseen by director Leslye Headland, following its single, contentious season. The decision blindsided viewers, especially following actor Manny Jacinto’s enthusiastic promotion at the recent D23 Expo. Lucasfilm ultimately decided against continuing the show, leaving its fanbase with a season-finale cliffhanger and no resolution in sight.

This unpredictable termination has stirred debate about the impact of ‘wokeness’ on modern entertainment.

Despite its promotional hype, “The Acolyte” struggled to establish a strong foothold among audiences, leading to this drastic decision from Disney and Lucasfilm.

Divisive Reception and Unresolved Storylines

The show’s debut season faced relentless rumors and encountered a profoundly divided reception. Despite a potent season finale, Disney and Lucasfilm opted not to greenlight a second season. Considering the limited array of upcoming live-action Star Wars series, this cancellation came as a genuine surprise to Woke fans.

Critically, “The Acolyte” earned a 78% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. However, the audience score plummeted to a dismal 18%. Criticisms ranged from sluggish pacing to subpar tension, leading many to question if the high production costs were ever justified.

“The Acolyte is no more. The Star Wars series will not return for a second season, EW has learned,” EW reported.

The series had a strong launch, amassing 4.8 million views on its first day and 11.1 million views globally within five days. It even appeared on Nielsen’s Top 10 originals chart, debuting at No. 7 in its first week and climbing to No. 6 subsequently. Yet, by Week 3, it fell out of the Top 10, only climbing back to No. 10 after the finale aired, which, with 335 million minutes viewed, became the lowest-rated Star Wars series finale.

Corporate Silence and Future Prospects

Disney and Lucasfilm have not provided an official reason for canceling “The Acolyte.” The divisions among fans, due to its female-centric plot and diverse casting, certainly played a role. This echoes previous controversies within the Star Wars community, notably after the release of “The Last Jedi.”

With Disney shifting its focus back to cinema, there are already four new Star Wars movies in development. Furthermore, upcoming television content includes “Skeleton Crew,” “Andor” season 2, and “Ahsoka” season 2. Although this pattern of limited series and abrupt cancellations mirrors the MCU’s trajectory on Disney+, the direction remains uncertain.

The Road Ahead for Star Wars

This decision adds fuel to the fire of an already contentious Star Wars fanbase. Leslye Headland had pitched ideas for a second season and expressed her aspirations for renewal. However, in the current climate, it appears Disney and Lucasfilm are moving towards projects with broader appeal, shying away from controversial ‘woke’ storylines that divide the audience.

“‘The Acolyte’ had a bumpy journey through marketing and release on the small screen, to say the least,” Fran Ruiz said for Space.com.

As Disney pivots back to cinema, the future of Star Wars on Disney+ remains precarious. With both divisive content and high production costs, the shift towards fewer, more impactful series could see a more strategic and profitable model for the franchise moving forward.

Georgia’s “Far-Right” Election Board Irks The New York Times

Georgia, once again, will be a state to watch in this year’s presidential election.

The state’s voting record in 2020 became the subject of a nationwide controversy when Joe Biden pipped Donald Trump to the state’s 16 Electoral College votes by a majority of just under a razor-thin 12,000. The close result led to a nationwide debate over the integrity of elections in the U.S., as well as a completely bogus and politically motivated indictment against Donald Trump.

Trump’s dispute over the result saw constant criticism from the mainstream media, including the New York Times. Many brushed aside legitimate concerns as unevidenced claims – something which Georgia’s election board has now sought to rectify ahead of the upcoming election.

Effectively, the board has introduced new measures to ensure that repeat of the 2020 controversy won’t happen again. Going forward, they’ll be including a mandatory 3pm deadline on the Friday after an election to ensure a fair ballot, and also giving increased power to audit the vote. In a 3-2 decision on Monday, the board voted to expand the powers of county election boards to investigate vote tallies before certifying them – which is controversial only to those in favor of cheating.

The New York Times, however, described the board as a “far-right takeover” with “new power to influence results in 2024.”

There are two issues with such rhetoric.

The first is that effectively mirrors the criticism aimed towards Trump in the aftermath of 2020; if you don’t like the result, you can claim it was rigged. The other, perhaps more prudent, is that the NYT is effectively accusing the Republican-controlled board of manipulating the process in favor of a candidate – something it ridiculed Trump for doing three years prior.

It’s ironic that Democrats can call anyone “election deniers” – when it’s evident that everyone is aware elections can be rigged. The only difference is who is believed to be doing the rigging.

Social media users also offered their own insight on the story.

Another noted the NYT’s use of the term “far-right”.

CNN Goes Into Absolute Meltdown Over Mispronunciation Of “Kamala”

Often times, a name can be pronounced multiple ways.

Just ask David Bowie, or Rihanna, or Ariana Grande, to name a few – tomato tomato.

Kamala Harris’ first name is no exception. The Vice President herself pronounces her name as “Kahm-a-lah”, and that’s how most of her supporters pronounce it too.

It’s not insulting, and it’s not naivety either to pronounce it slightly differently. Different people pronounce words differently, particularly when the subject in question is absent from the media landscape… but on CNN pronunciation is apparently proof of white supremacy and risks bringing back the era of Jim Crow.

No – really. That’s how insane these people are.

As Representative Nancy Mace repeatedly said Kamala’s name, insufferable Democratic strategist Keith Boykin condescendingly responded, “You had it right. You almost got it.”

“I will say Kamala’s name any way that I want to,” shot back Mace, as tension began to rise.

Notorious race baiter and Thesaurus enthusiast Michael Eric Dyson then chimed in to try to correct her, with Mace replying “I just did [supposedly mispronounce her name] and I’ll do it again.” Boykin then also tried to berate Mace and Dyson hysterically “informed” Mace that “You’re normalizing that kind of viciousness, man. You’re disrespecting the woman.”

Later, Dyson attempted to pretend he wasn’t calling Mace racist while accusing her of not caring about the humanity of black people because she mispronounced a name. “This congresswoman is a wonderful human being,” said Dyson. “But when you disrespect Kamala Harris by saying you will call her whatever you want, I know you don’t intend it to be that way, that’s the history and legacy of white disregard for the humanity of Black people.”

And he’s dead serious.

Check out the hysteria for yourself below:

Ranting, screeching, screaming, yelling – all over a slight mispronunciation. Don’t forget, of course, the unhinged accusation of racism.

CNN, everybody.

Hopefully they’ll take their concerns to the White House…

Joy Reid Is Upset That Donald Trump Wants To End Anti-White Racism

MSNBC broadcaster Joy Reid is renowned for her level-headed politically neutral stances and her advocacy of a united political future where differences can be settled with calm, rational debate.

Just kidding!

Reid has come under fire in recent months with her lengthy TikTok rants even attracting the attention of X owner Elon Musk.

On Wednesday, August 14, Reid continued with her divisive rhetoric in a segment called “Project 2025 Exposed: The Plot to Undermine Black Farmers.” Fewer than 2% of farmers are African-American, far below their share of the U.S. population (at 13%).

“In Project 2025, folks like [Stephen] Miller, [J.D.] Vance, and [Donald] Trump want to nationalize their long-term goal of putting a stop to what they call anti-White racism,” she said on her broadcast. “It’s just another way of saying, ‘we’re sick of America being held accountable for actual racism.’”

The difference between anti-White racism and “actual” racism remains unclear.

“Under Project 2025, the Department of Justice would play the central role in executing their national policy of reversing racial progress,” Reid continued, further fearmongering about a “Project” that Trump has distanced himself from and never had any affiliation with. “They would force the DoJ’s civil rights division – which is responsible for enforcing federal statutes that prohibit discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, or national origin – to refocus, moving away from what they call affirmative discrimination, and ensure lawfulness, which essentially means protecting the people who’ve had access and opportunity all along.”

Needless to say, social media saw through Reid’s race-baiting rant, and offered their own perspectives instead.

Others noted that ending racism is only bad if you career depends on its existence.

Media Helps Harris Steal Trump’s No Tax on Tips Plan

Waiters and waitresses, barbers and hairdressers, and delivery drivers, make a large portion of their income through tips. Tips are especially important for restaurant servers as, believe it or not, the federal minimum wage in 2024 for tipped employees is only $2.13. Yours truly started waiting tables in 1992, and that’s the same rate restaurants were paying then. Of course, many states have raised that wage, but the federal government has not.

Whatever you think of the current proposals to stop the IRS from taxing tips, one thing everyone knows is that the idea belongs to Donald J. Trump. He floated the idea at a June, 2024 campaign rally.

Then, just as she swiped the presidential nomination, America’s least-favorite Democrat Kamala Harris is stealing Trump’s idea. The cackler in chief is now energizing the crowds at her rally by promising to take tips off the table for the tax man. This isn’t particularly surprising, given the source. But what may irk you more is how the mainstream media is colluding with it.

When Trump suggested it, they scorned him. When Kamala swiped it, they cheered her. Take a look at this headline comparison:

It couldn’t be more brazen. Everything Trump does and says must be evil no matter what. CBS News was motivated to frame Trump’s proposal as a blow to the treasury, but when Harris came out with the same line, there was no such framing. Nor was there any acknowledgment of the hollow candidate’s idea thievery.

It’s reminiscent of the media’s contrived outrage over the fact that Kamala Harris was put in charge of stopping the influx of illegal immigrants. The press is fixated on claiming that she was not appointed “border czar” by formal legislation using that exact title. “See! Republicans lie! Nobody officially named her ‘border czar!’” But the media did, in fact, routinely call her “border czar” until it was no longer convenient. Leftist digital pulp outlet Axios had to eat its own words when it blasted Republicans for calling Harris the border czar. Check it out:

And then:

It’s hard to say what the American public will make of Harris’ policy sleight of hand, but social media users aren’t shy about sharing their view of the lying media:

Can we get some praise for Elon Musk for preserving at least one public forum where people can tell the truth?

This user pointed out the flip side of consumers not mistrusting the media enough:

Trump Campaign Hacked, Internal Memos Sent to News Outlet

The Trump campaign has confirmed that some of their internal communications have been hacked. Politico also reported that they’ve been sent internal memos from an anonymous account that details some of the Trump campaign’s internal operations.

Trump campaign spokesperson, Steven Cheung, declined to say if they had further information substantiating the campaigns’ suggestion that it was targeted by Iran.

Cheung said, “On Friday, a new report from Microsoft found that Iranian hackers broke into the account of a ‘high ranking official’ on the U.S. presidential campaign in June 2024, which coincides with the close timing of President Trump’s selection of a vice presidential nominee.”

According to Washington Examiner:

Former President Donald Trump’s campaign has reported it has been hacked, and Politico confirmed confidential memos from the campaign were sent to them.

“These documents were obtained illegally from foreign sources hostile to the United States, intended to interfere with the 2024 election and sow chaos throughout our Democratic process,” Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said in a statement to the Washington Examiner.

Cheung did not provide confirmation to Politico for how he knew the hackers were from Iran.

The news outlet reported they received documents from a person who called themselves only “Robert” from an AOL email account, and the records included research on Sens. J.D. Vance (R-OH), and Marco Rubio (R-FL).

After the assassination attempt on Trump, reports emerged that there had been unrelated Iranian plots to kill the former president. In his statement to the outlet, Cheung referred to those reports as he accused Iran of this hacking.

Politico described in an article how they came into possession of the information and hinted at some of the data in it:

On July 22, POLITICO began receiving emails from an anonymous account. Over the course of the past few weeks, the person — who used an AOL email account and identified themselves only as “Robert” — relayed what appeared to be internal communications from a senior Trump campaign official. A research dossier the campaign had apparently done on Trump’s running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, which was dated Feb. 23, was included in the documents. The documents are authentic, according to two people familiar with them and granted anonymity to describe internal communications. One of the people described the dossier as a preliminary version of Vance’s vetting file.

The research dossier was a 271-page document based on publicly available information about Vance’s past record and statements, with some — such as his past criticisms of Trump — identified in the document as “POTENTIAL VULNERABILITIES.” The person also sent part of a research document about Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who was also a finalist for the vice presidential nomination.

The person said they had a “variety of documents from [Trump’s] legal and court documents to internal campaign discussions.”

Asked how they obtained the documents, the person responded: “I suggest you don’t be curious about where I got them from. Any answer to this question, will compromise me and also legally restricts you from publishing them.”

This is a breaking story and will be updated when more is known.
