New York City Mayor Eric Adams Surprises “The View” In Debate Over Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Unwatchable ABC daytime talk show “The View” invited New York Mayor Eric Adams on for its Friday, Nov. 15 edition in the wake of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s appointment as Secretary for Health and Human Services.

The program typically only invites Democrats (or Republicans who might as well be Democrats) to discuss current affairs, and Mayor Adams is no exception. However, The View got more than it bargained for when Adams unexpectedly began to defend RFK Jr. and President-elect Donald Trump.

The talk show hosts were skeptical of Kennedy’s appointment, but Adams acknowledged ongoing health issues with hormones in food and fluoride in water. They then began to question whether HHS officials would leave en masse once RFK Jr. assumed the role (which would actually just help drain the swamp).

“If we love our country, then no one individual should take us away from our mission,” Adams said. “If you’ve dedicated your life to a particular place… I dedicated my life to law enforcement; if a new commissioner came in that I disagreed with, I [wouldn’t] say I was going to resign.”

Calling on Americans to love the country, Adams continued, “Those are experts in this; they’re going to look at his proposals, do a real analysis, and make these decisions. It happens every day.”

The hosts then tried to shift the conversation to Adams’ reluctance to join his party colleagues in describing Trump as a fascist.

“We’ve reached a point in this country where we no longer want to engage in conversation,” Adams said. “They were even calling him Hitler; that was an insult to the millions of Jews and others who died.”

Adams’ remarks left some commentors on social media to ponder whether his views align more closely with the GOP.

Others were simply stunned by The View’s continual promotion of the left-wing agenda, particularly given Adams’ remarks.

Scott Jennings Destroys CNN Panel During Row Over RFK Jr

CNN, like much of the mainstream media, was distraught over Donald Trump’s appointment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to the role of Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Leftist media outlets have largely focused on the fact that Kennedy is skeptical over the effectiveness of vaccines, rather than his developed understanding of health issues facing the country.

The appointment prompted debate on Thursday’s edition of Newsnight, with commentator Geoff Duncan arguing there was “no good reason” for the former Democrat to hold the role.

“There’s no managerial experience in his resume; nothing that says he is qualified to do this job,” Duncan said.

Conservative commentator Scott Jennings questioned this thought process, asking what management qualifications Kennedy’s predecessors possessed when they were appointed to the role. As Jennings listed off previous HHS Secretaries’ qualifications, or lack thereof, Duncan interrupted, “Because RFK Jr. is a nut.”

“That’s different to what you just said,” Jennings replied, “You just said he doesn’t possess the requisite managerial experience, but then we get to the real issue here, which is you want to insult the man.”

Jennings then went on to argue that public trust in the health authorities was “as low as it’s ever been,” leading fellow commentator John Avion to ask, “But why?”

“Because of COVID! Because of school closures. Because of mask mandates,” Jennings answered. “Because this country was drugged through a bunch of condescending and heavy-handed mandates that all turned out to be garbage. And that’s why it’s low and the questions are valid.”

There was widespread praise for Jennings when the clip went viral.

There was also a lot of support for RFK Jr.

New York Bakery Refutes Whoopi Goldberg’s Claim That It Refused To Serve Her Because “They Did Not Like My Politics”

Whoopi Goldberg the the brain trust over at “The View” have been making headlines since the election, largely for their ever-increasing meltdowns over the looming Donald Trump presidency she predicted would never happen.

Take the case of Whoopi Goldberg, for example. On Thursday, Nov. 14, Goldberg announced a “sex strike” amid frustration over Trump’s support among men. It was a bizarre “protest” that left everyone wondering if it would actually result in any changes to her daily life.

And that’s not all.

Celebrating her 69th birthday on The View, Goldberg said she had been refused service by a bakery in a Republican-leaning part of New York. While she didn’t name the bakery, Entertainment Weekly reported Holtermann’s Bakery which was the center of attention.

“My birthday dessert today was one of my mum’s favorites from when she was a kid, she talked about these all the time, they’re called Charlotte Russe,” Goldberg said on The View. “t’s a sponge cake with whipped cream and a cherry on top. I should tell you…the place that made these refused to make them for me.”

A confused panel responded “What?!”, before Goldberg elaborated, “No, let me explain. They said that their ovens had gone down, but folks went and got them anyway, which is why I’m not telling you who made them. It’s not… because I’m a woman, but perhaps they did not like my politics.”

Owner Jill Holtermann responded that politics had nothing to do with it, and that there had been an issue with the boiler in the bakery, which is situated in a century-old building.

Staten Island Borough President Vito Fossella defended Holtermann: “It’s been here 145 years. They had a boiler that was 60 or 70 years old. And the first week in November, guess what? It went on the fritz.”

Holtermann herself thanked the community for the “overwhelming” support, adding that she had received calls from across the country.

Some on social media called for the bakery to initiate legal proceedings against the daytime television host.

Others were pleased to see Goldberg receive a public backlash.

There were also calls for her to apologize.

Politico Criticizes Pete Hegseth for Not Being Owned by Military Industrial Complex

Politico was one of the many media outlets to put Pete Hegseth’s appointment to Secretary of Defense on blast – as if any candidate would’ve been acceptable to them.

Like most left-wing outlets, Politico focused on Hegseth’s most recent role as a presenter on Fox & Friends Weekend, rather than his extensive military experience and education. He has served for 21 years, earning honors such as two Bronze Stars, two Army Commendation Medals, a National Defense Service Medal, and a Global War on Terrorism Service Medal

In order to emphasize the view that Hegseth is not a suitable appointment, Politico interviewed two analysts, one of whom was granted anonymity. Hilariously, in their criticism of Hegseth, they gave him the best possible endorsement they could have in pointing out that he’s not owned by military contractors.

A section of the article read as follows:

One assessment was more blunt. “Who the fuck is this guy?” said a defense industry lobbyist who was granted anonymity to offer candid views. The lobbyist said they had hoped for “someone who actually has an extensive background in defense. That would be a good start.”

You read that right – they’re complaining that Hegseth isn’t a pawn of Raytheon and Halliburton!

It’s hard not to read things that this and feel like you’re going crazy – but you’re not, it’s those at Politico that have lost it.

A defense industry lobbyist is someone whose job is to actively promote the interests of the defense industry. Given their overwhelming incentives to advocate for war, they’re unlikely to be over-the-moon with Trump’s ambitions to end the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, and promises for no more wars. Trump was the only modern president to not oversee any new wars during his tenure, and we didn’t lost a single soldier in Afghanistan his last (but not really last) 18-months in office.

Many on social media were delighted by the defense lobbyist’s disappointment.

Others noted Hegseth’s combat record.

Millions Celebrate As The Guardian Leaves X

The Guardian will no longer be posting its articles on X, the publication has announced.

The left-wing newspaper announced it would be leaving in the wake of the presidential election. It “reasoned”:

We think that the benefits of being on X are now outweighed by the negatives and that resources could be better used promoting our journalism elsewhere.

This is something we have been considering for a while given the often disturbing content promoted or found on the platform, including far-right conspiracy theories and racism. The US presidential election campaign served only to underline what we have considered for a long time: that X is a toxic media platform and that its owner, Elon Musk, has been able to use its influence to shape political discourse.

X users will still be able to share our articles, and the nature of live news reporting means we will still occasionally embed content from X within our article pages.”

They failed to publish any posts to support its claim – a somewhat vital component of any compelling argument.

One user marked the occasion by mocking the “loss” and posting a thread of headlines from The Guardian that range from laugh-out-loud funny to “truly deranged” to “typed from a mental asylum” territory.

Read (and hopefully laugh) below:

And that’s just a sampling!

This idea was soon explored by others.

Community Notes were also suggested as a reason for the departure.

The news also caught the attention of platform owner Elon Musk.

CNN to Fire Hundreds: Which On-Air Talent Will Get Axed?

Who’s next out the door at CNN? No one knows, but word on the street is that the beleaguered cable network will be slashing hundreds of jobs, and some of those might be faces familiar to viewers.

According to the Daily Mail, the original cable news network—it was founded by Ted Turner and went on the air in 1980—is hemorrhaging money and that means costs need to be cut. Anchor Chris Wallace (son of the late 60 Minutes journalist Mike Wallace) has already left the network, believing he’ll find success in the podcast world (likely too late for you, Chris).

‘In the next few months, I’m told, CNN will implement another round of layoffs that will impact hundreds of employees across the organization,’ reporter Dylan Byers wrote Friday, referencing CNN’s recent 100-person layoff seen over the summer.

The man behind it, they said, is none other than new CEO Mark Thompson – the former New York Times boss brought in to overhaul the network under its Warner Bros. Discovery parent. The old BBC boss filled the position left by then-languishing leader Chris Licht this past August, and since then, ratings have fallen more than 20 percent.

While everything at this point is coming from unnamed sources, the gossip is that even big names like Jake Tapper and Wolf Blitzer were not given raises recently. Will their highest-paid talent survive the layoffs? Anderson Cooper (scion of the Vanderbilt family) makes $20 million, and Kaitlan Collins $3 million.

It looks like mainstream/legacy media may be finally reaching its final stage of life. From the days when the three on-air networks, CBS, NBC, and ABC, to the explosion of cable news and entertainment channels in the 80s, to today’s streaming “television” beamed to phones and computers, the mainstream institutions have seemed untouchable.

But they’re not solidly positioned. CNN, for example, lost half its viewers during the 2024 election cycle compared to 2020. On election night itself, the network brought in only 3.3 million viewers, which is almost half as much as they had during the 2020 presidential race.

Why are the media old guard having such a hard time? Because they lie constantly and no one trusts anything they say. Filled with hard-left liberals who no longer even pretend to care about objectivity, every old-school outlet worked overtime to try to scupper another Trump election, but it didn’t work.

It’s also unclear whether outfits like CNN will be able to get a firm footing in the digital and podcast worlds. So many erstwhile viewers want nothing to do with the major news brands that their parents trusted and had on the TV set while they were growing up.

A sampling of social media reaction to the news:

Ouch, Kaitlan!

CNN’s Scott Jennings Ruffles Feathers in Televised Chicken Coop

You could be forgiven for thinking that you’re hearing audio recorded from inside a chicken coop.

Former George W. Bush advisor Scott Jennings, now a contributor to CNN, has an uncanny ability to ruffle feathers and elicit frustrated clucking from his co-panelists by simply stating the plain truth in a calm voice.

Jennings remarked that it only made sense for Donald Trump to pick cabinet members and staff who had the ability to carry out his policy objectives. This was just too much for the liberals (every other person at the table). In the now-typical teenage-girl fashion that allegedly grown-up professional women use to communicate to the public, the Washington Post’s Catherine Rampell squeaked out, “He literally said he was going to exact vengeance!”

They just don’t get that Democrats are not the only people who are allowed to hold political power. Jennings responded with, “You still don’t understand how you lost.” Rampell? She did the head-swivel and snarked, “Don’t say ‘me’. I’m not a Democrat. I’m a journalist.”

No, Miss Rampell, you are not a journalist. You are a teenage girl in an adult woman’s body playing journalist in a costume at the Democrat Community Playhouse known as The Washington Post. To be fair, it’s only a few days since the election, and the Democrats have not completed the grieving process yet. But the Catherine Rampells of the world are going to soon learn that girl-boss sassery is over. Indignant clapbacks are not going to keep the left in business much longer.

Maybe Rampell thinks we don’t remember, but she was one of the WaPo employees who signed a letter condemning the paper for not endorsing Harris. She sure seems like a Democrat to me.

The other women on the panel couldn’t take it either. “Scott! Scott!” was a common verbal ejaculation. Host Abby Phillips jumped in to say, “He [Trump] did run on vengeance.”

One suspects Democrats and media will soon learn another lesson: “consequences” is not a synonym for “vengeance.” Right now, they’re still in shock. The news has had a liberal tilt for decades, but it has been so out of control for the past ten years that most leftists now believe they are entitled to do anything they want—anything at all—with no pushback. They treat any criticism of their actions, or any refusal to go along with them, as an act of abuse against them.

Let’s see how X/Twitter users reacted to the clip.

Byron Donalds Destroys CNN After Airing Edited Clip From Donald Trump Rally

CNN broadcaster John Berman was slammed by Republican Rep. Byron Donalds after a deceptively edited clip from a Donald Trump rally was used in an interview on their supposed news network.

The Florida lawmaker was speaking with Berman the morning after Trump’s Green Bay, WI, rally in which he spoke wearing a garbage collector’s uniform. It was the former president’s comments, however, which were the focus of CNN’s morning broadcast.

A clip in which Trump said he would protect women “whether they like it or not” was used in Thursday morning’s interview. However, the full quote, which was omitted, was: “[My advisors] said, ‘Sir, I just think it’s inappropriate for you to say.’ I pay these guys a lot of money; can you believe it? I said, ‘Well, I’m going to do it whether the women like it or not. I’m going to protect them. I’m going to protect them from migrants coming in. I’m going to protect them from foreign countries that want to hit us with missiles and lots of other things.’”

The latter part of the Republican’s remarks were cut off, before Berman asked Donalds, “Why is Donald Trump telling women he will do things whether they like it or not?”

“John, that is grossly inaccurate what you just played. Play the full clip. Play it in its context,” replied the GOP lawmaker. “He was talking about the tragedy at our southern border that led to the death of Jocelyn Nungaray.”

Adding that Jocelyn’s family had endorsed Trump, Donalds added, “He was telling a joke about how some of the staff said, ‘No don’t say you would protect women because they would take it out of context’ – obviously what CNN is doing right now.”

Despite acknowledging that House Rep. had the right context, Berman pressed on over Trump’s choice of words, prompting a livid Donalds to reply, “John, you need to stop.”

So deceptive was Kamala, that to CNN’s credit, even Jake Tapper debunked it elsewhere.

Many sided with the Republican while criticizing the CNN broadcaster.

Others noted that the network still refused to play the full clip despite Donalds’ requests.

NYT Writer Spins False Sob Story About Woman Who Induced Own Miscarriage

Let me tell you a tragic story about a woman who lost her baby due to a miscarriage. It’s every mother’s worst nightmare, the thought of losing her precious baby before it’s even born. Making it so much worse, the grieving mother was set upon by vicious right wing police who arrested her on manslaughter charges. The final insult was a prison sentence.

Thank God for the kind heart of one lawyer who offered to help this woman for free. Her conviction was overturned, and she was released to go back to mothering her living children.

At least – this is the kind of nightmare that Democrat voters want to prevent.

Except it didn’t happen that way. But New York Times writer Nicholas Kristof, from whom I cribbed this story, thinks that it did.

So does the Washington Post.

And so does Esquire Magazine, which used the Washington Post story about Patience Frazier, the woman in question.

If those were the only articles you read, you would think that’s what happened, too. And millions of Americans will see only these headlines and conclude that, yes, evil Republicans really do want to punish women for innocent miscarriages. How could they not think this, when the most popular news aggregator serves them this?

But X (Twitter) has something different: community notes. Community notes is a feature added to X after Elon Musk bought the company. It allows X users to challenge the premises of a post and actually correct incorrect information with facts. Let’s take another look at Nicholas Kristof’s post with the community note included.

That’s a horse of a different color. Not only did this “miscarriage” occur six years ago, well before the overturning of Roe v. Wade, but Miss Frazier deliberately induced a miscarriage by taking illicit drugs, among other activities. When she got the stillbirth she wanted, she buried the baby in her backyard quietly.

Reasonable people can still disagree over whether what Frazier did rises to the level of manslaughter, and over whether it’s a good idea to allow the state this much leeway to investigate circumstances like this. But facts are facts: Frazier was not “oppressed” by Republicans, or by anyone. Roe v. Wade had nothing to do with the death of her baby; Miss Frazier did it.

Let’s sample the social media reaction.

Nathaniel asks a question that clearly could never occur to a liberal.

“The View” and Tim Walz *Really* Don’t Like Elon Musk’s $1 Million Petition Incentive

Elon Musk’s America Super PAC has enraged the left with its latest incentive to garner signatories on a petition.

Musk – who previously offered $47 to anyone who referred a signatory in a swing state – is providing an opportunity for Americans to win $1 million if they sign a petition protecting the constitutional rights to free speech and bear arms.

The incentive has enraged liberals, with unfounded allegations that the incentive is “buying votes” and therefore illegal. Of course, this is false. America’s petition is separate from the presidential election, no matter how closely connected the business magnate is to one of the presidential candidates.

It’s also hilarious, considering that Democrats have been buying votes through big government handouts (and promises of handouts) for at least the past century.

Musk’s Super PAC was the subject of daytime whinefest The View, which saw Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz pop by. Host Whoopi Goldberg was not best pleased with Musk’s incentive, questioning its legality in a hard-hitting question to Walz.

“What’s happening?” she asked the potential vice president.

Walz could not give an answer on the legality, instead going on a tangent about key campaign policy ideas.

Fellow anchor Ana Navarro came up with the idea of signing the petition, but then going to vote for the Democratic ticket – effectively disproving any uncertainty over legality.

“Do that!” exclaimed Walz.

Despite the efforts of the panel to berate Musk, the X owner saw the funny side when the clip made it to social media.

Clearly nervous, the Biden-Harris DOJ is already warning Musk about his giveaway in an attempt to stop him.

Many were in agreement over the ridiculousness of the latest liberal meltdown.

Others remembered Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s multi-million-dollar investment in 2020.
