Ontario Town Fined For Refusing To Celebrate Pride Month

An Ontario town has been fined CA$10,000 (About $7,100 USD) for refusing to declare June as “Pride Month.”

The town of Emo, Ontario, was ruled to have violated the Ontario Human Rights Code in a decision by the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. Two councilors and the town’s mayor were also found to have violated the code.

Bizarrely, the town of 1,300 was found guilty of failing to fly “an LGBTQ2 rainbow flag,” even though Emo does not have an official flagpole.

The dispute has been running for some time between Emo and a group called Borderland Pride. In 2020, a draft proclamation by the latter was defeated 3-2 in a town council meeting, during which Mayor Harold McQuaker said, “There’s no flag being flown for the other side of the coin … there’s no flags being flown for the straight people.”

McQuaker’s remark was found to be “demeaning and disparaging” by Human Rights Tribunal vice-chair Karen Dawson, who fined the township $10,000 with McQuaker issued a $5,000 fine. Both the mayor and Emo’s chief administrative officer were also ordered to complete an online course known as “Human Rights 101” as part of the ruling.

Adding insult to injury, Borderland Pride said it would donate one third of the extorted money to the town’s local library, but only if the library hosted a drag queen grooming hour. You can read their full extortion letter below to see that this is nothing more than ideological motivated lawfare, the same sort that Colorado cake artist Jack Phillips has been the target of for over a decade.

Borderland Pride later replied to allegations that they bully towns and cities to bend to their will by stating that they love having that reputation.

Some on social media added additional insight into the bizarre case.

Others were stunned by the decision, with one user likening it to the North Korean regime.

Scottish Government Tells High Court Men Can Too Get Pregnant

Oh, Scotland. You were once a kingdom celebrated in legend and song for your marauding men and bonnie lasses scrapping it out on the border with England as you fought to maintain your culture. Your border reivers were the forerunners of the outlaws and cowboys in the American West. You gave the world James I (of England), who gave the world the most revered translation of the Bible. 

Now, you’re in court making asses out of yourselves. And for what? “Pregnant men” and “male lesbians.” 

That’s right. There is a case before the Scottish Supreme Court right now to settle the issue of whether men and women actually exist, or whether bureaucrats with tick-boxes decide the biological reality of humans. Ministers from the Scottish National Party are donning their wigs to argue that there is such a thing as a male lesbian, and a pregnant man. 

The dispute stems from a 2018 decision by the Scots government to define “woman” as “anyone living as a woman.” Astute readers will instantly see that this is a circular definition, therefore it is no definition at all. The feminist group For Women Scotland challenged this definition, sensibly arguing that it was irrational. The observe that the government cannot achieve its goal of equal participation by women in government if it cannot define what a woman is, and if it includes men in the category “women.”

Lawyers for the group are in the unenviable—and deeply stupid—position of explaining to judges that it is not “transphobic” to state “biological sex is real.”

Yes, Wokespy reader, it’s confusing even for this writer as I try to explain it to you. 

The question before the high court now is whether to leave standing a government definition that says anyone, including men, who has a “gender recognition certificate” qualifies as a “woman” under the law. A GRC is sort of like a driver’s license for gender, except it doesn’t indicate anything real. Any man can rock up to the government and do some pro-forma blathering about how he “lives as a woman” and get a GRC. 

The government’s witnesses will be there in court to argue that men can be women, and that men can be pregnant, and that women can be men. It is not clear whether they also believe the moon can be made of green cheese if it so identifies, but we will keep you updated.

New York School Teaches 5-Year-Olds About Transsexualism

The 1907 ditty is probably not allowed to be played in any American school, or even referred to historically, since the modern consensus is that hitting children with a stick is abusive. And we don’t abuse children in our public schools, do we? 

That’s one of the “fascinating” bits of double-think in modern life: the notion that only physical hitting is abusive, and that it’s the only kind of mistreatment society should take seriously. Warping the minds of children is just fine though. No, it’s more than fine. It’s loving and beautiful, and so very necessary. That’s what adherents of “gender ideology” tell us when they justify their strange desire to tell children that they are “born in the wrong body,” and to instruct public school children on the right way to enjoy masturbation. 

From experience, this writer knows that what schools are pushing on kids is so dire, and so bizarre, that many adults simply will not believe it, even when the evidence is put in front of them. They remember bells between class periods, orderly lines at the cafeteria, and history classes that taught history instead of hard-left ideology. 

But adults need to get an emotional grip and accept the truth: pornography and perversion is standard academic fare in American public schools. And parents who object are treated as if they were, somehow, the perverts and deviants for wanting to keep smut out of their children’s schools. 

Take the book “Genderqueer” by Maia Kobabe, who wants you to believe that she is a genderless “non-binary” being. The book, a graphic novel (in every sense of the term), depicts drawings of masturbation, fellatio, and more, between minors. Would you be shocked to know that it’s available in public school libraries around the country? Would you be shocked to know that most school boards defend the book even when they shut down parents for reading from it at meetings because the contents are too obscene?

It’s true. 

Trump may have won the election, but the left will not easily give up the mind control it has been allowed to have over our children for at least a decade. Take this kindergarten curriculum from New York State’s Hillside School. Again, this is a curriculum for kindergarteners. For five-year-olds. LibsofTikTok brings the news:

AOC Glitches Out: Keeping Men Out of Women’s Bathrooms is “Endangering Women”

It’s going to take some time for the liberal tears to dry up after the resounding victory of conservative politics on November 5. Not only did Donald Trump win the presidency, but Republicans kept the Senate, took the House, and the Supreme Court has a conservative majority. 

As the kids say (are they still saying this?), the situation has left Democrats with “big feels.” Not used to being told no, they’re throwing tantrums on MSNBC where the hosts can’t seem to control their emotions long enough to deliver a newscast without twitching. Some of the staff there are telling themselves fibs to get through it, like Chris Hayes. Hayes is very unhappy that the majority of Americans went for MAGA, so he’s written an article about how reality never happened. 

Yes, Chris, voters do want a MAGA makeover, and they’re going to get one. “Narrow win?” What’s next-accusations that Republicans have small genitalia? 

That MAGA makeover is starting up in the Capitol Building itself. The most recent dustup is over men using women’s bathrooms. Enter “Sarah” (formerly Tim) McBride, an oily gay man who put on a dress and calls himself a woman. McBride was just elected to the House of Representatives from Delaware, leading to a gush of articles about the “first transgender representative!” With any luck, we’ll soon be hearing about the last of that. 

Republican Rep. Nancy Mace isn’t having any of it. As any person of common sense would have said a mere 10 years ago, Mace stated that men have no place in women’s bathrooms, and she expects Congress to make sure that transvestites like McBride go to the men’s room where they belong. They are, after all, men. 

Liberal media are calling Mace’s statement a “cynical transphobic attack,” of course. 

Too bad. The lunatic fringe lost this one. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, after initially wimping out when questioned about whether he’d keep men out of the ladies’ room, announced that bathrooms in the Capitol are to be sorted by biological sex. You know, like always was until the West lost its everloving mind in the 20-teens and decided that sex was something you could put on like lipstick. 

Our Lady of Histrionics, NY Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, got out her big doe eyes and went full hysterical. She called Mace dangerous, and said this:

“They’re endangering women. They’re endangering girls of all kinds. And everybody should reject it. It’s gross.”

That’s right. Republicans are “endangering women” by protecting them from men in their bathrooms. Oh also, AOC? There is only one kind of girl—the female kind. And Tim McBride is not female. 

She also went on to complain that “They’re doing this so that Nancy Mace can make a buck and send a text and fundraise off an email. They’re not doing this to protect people,” as if this hasn’t been a stance taken by most Republicans since the trans issue became an issue.

AOC also claimed that Republicans want a world where every woman’s genitals are inspected upon entering the bathroom, despite this never having happened anywhere that trans bathroom “bans” exist.

Canadian Trans Activists Want to Scuttle Name-Change Law That Outs Criminals

Consider the alias. Writers throughout history have used aliases that we call “pen names.” Stephen King wrote books under the name “Richard Bachman.” Joanne Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, has launched a successful string of novels for adults under the name Robert Galbraith. 

On the everyday level, normal people frequently use pseudonyms to post their thoughts online. Some just want privacy, some want to avoid being publicly chastised for thinking politically incorrect things. 

But what of the other reasons to use an assumed name? What other category of people do we think of when we imagine someone going through life under a series of different names? Criminals, naturally. If you want to avoid detection for your crimes, changing your name is one way to throw a roadblock between you and the cops pursuing you. In the modern digital age, it’s harder to change your identity and stay hidden, of course. But a disguise does not have to be perfect. Like a lock on a door, it only needs to slow down your pursuers enough to give you time to escape. 

In all these cases  the motivation to use a pseudonym is the need or desire to hide something. And few classes of people want to hide something more than the so-called “transgendered.” Oh, sure, they claim that it’s “harmful” to their mental health to be called by their “dead name” (the name they were given at birth that corresponds to their actual sex), but this is a feint. If it does indeed “hurt” to hear your real name, that’s a personal problem, not a responsibility of others in society. 

Why, then, are transgender activists in Canada demanding that the province of British Columbia reverse a law that bans dangerous criminals from changing their name? Independent outlet Reduxx:

Social justice legal group West Coast LEAF issued a press release, signed by numerous trans activist groups and organizations, demanding the change on November 7. In their letter, the groups claim that the province’s legislation ‘harms those most in need of legal name changes, including transgender people, Indigenous people, and survivors of gender-based violence.’

The activists claim, contrary to reality, that “transgender” people are at constant risk of being murdered for “being trans.” But in all of 2023, only 35 “trans” people were murdered  in the U.S. by the official count, and mostly because they were working as prostitutes and/or associating with a criminal element. Thirty-five homicides annually is so small as to be a lower rate of homicide than the general population – but don’t expect to hear that from a trans activist anytime soon.

Here are the other possible motivations the activists don’t want you to contemplate:

  • Escaping the criminal record earned under the correctly sexed birth name
  • Using a different name so that a potential employer who screens candidates against the sex offender registry cannot detect a sex offender

It should be very easy to see why a person with nefarious motivations, say, a pedophile who wants a job as a preschool teacher, would want to claim it’s a human rights violation to be prevented from changing his name. 

The Reduxx article above cites the horrific case of Alan Schoenborn in BC that led to the law banning violent criminals from changing their names. Schoenborn killed his three young children in 2008, and then campaigned to be allowed to keep his new legal pseudonym secret from the public. 

Will British Columbia cave to these demands and put the public in danger once again by scuttling the law? It’s impossible to say, but the public is getting fed up to the back teeth with these demands from mentally unstable perverts, and the social media response shows it. Here’s a sampling. 

This is hardly the first story of this genre. As we reported earlier this year at Wokespy, a Tennessee bill to allow for the death penalty for child rapists was also excoriated by the LGBTQ+ “community.”

This kind of depraved thinking isn’t just relegated to the left’s alphabet faction either. Just last September, most Democrats in the House voted against a bill to deport illegal aliens who rape women, and to refuse any convicted sex offenders into the country. 

It should serve as just the latest reminder to never give the left the benefit of the doubt.

Kamala Harris Snags Most of Coveted Non-Binary Vote

There was an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, about a race of aliens called the Binars. They were a genetically enhanced race with computer processors in their heads, and they were androgynous and apparently sexless, with bald heads and indeterminate body shapes. Their non-threatening appearance was key to their success at stealing the Enterprise from space dock. 

Have they been with us here on Earth, and have they been participating in the election? Or, have they been altering certain leftist humans slowly, replacing our usual friends with weirder and less sexy versions? 

Something strange is going on, if this tweet from prominent commentator James Lindsay is any indication. 

I know, it’s confusing. How is it possible to have categories of voters other than “male” and “female,” first of all? It is not possible, of course, but America has been playing in the land of make-believe for at least 10 years about human anatomy. We’re supposed to believe that there are “transgender women,” but those are just men who call themselves women (and vice-versa for “transgender men”). Apparently all you need to do to fundamentally change reality today is slap on the opposite sex’s clothing and throw tantrums whenever someone recognizes that you’re wearing a costume. 

But wait, there’s more! Have you heard of the “non-binaries?” These are an even more special subset of the alleged transgender community. Usually, but not always, “non-binary” people are women (who look just like yesterday’s plain old lesbians) who claim to be neither male nor female.

Reader, don’t sweat this too hard. You can’t make it make sense. Just roll with me. 

So apparently the non–binaries are 1 percent of the population. Of that tiny sliver, 73 percent voted for Kamala Harris, while 21 percent chose Donald Trump, which admittedly is surprising.

Trump Announces Plans to End Worst Child Abuse in History

President-elect Donald Trump made a historically unique and profound statement earlier this year that got overlooked. It’s about one of the worst abuses of children in American history, perhaps world history. He looked directly at the camera and told the truth—no other politician has done so—about what “gender-affirming care” for children really is: mutilation and child abuse. 

Trump promised:

  • No more federal dollars to any institution that abuses children this way
  • No participation in the process of transing children by any federal agency
  • A ban on this barbaric cruelty in all 50 states

Wokespy readers, I’m going to get a little more personal with you today than is normal for a news article; I want you to truly understand this on a human level. I was born in 1974, and grew up before it occurred to any sane person that a child could have a “sex change.” I was a stereotypical sensitive sissy boy, and took the chiding and the fights that came with that. Had I been born 25 years later, I would almost certainly have been taken to a gender clinic where my mind and body would have been permanently ruined. 

Unfortunately, mental derangement runs in my family, and child abuse shows up in every generation. I had to personally intervene in my own family to save a young boy from having his health and his manhood taken from him by abusive adults who wanted to turn him into a girl. I assure you, what sounds like a fictional nightmare is very real.

That’s what “gender-affirming care” is. It’s psychological, chemical, and physical mutilation of perfectly healthy children simply because they don’t conform to every stereotype of what “boys are” and “girls are.” The vast majority of children who end up in gender clinics have been abused at home or in other ways. They need help, not brutality. 

Many of you reading this won’t know what “gender-affirming care” really is. You can’t, because the media lies. Try it. Type that into Google. You get nothing but search results that characterize not cutting a child’s genitals off as “abuse.” I will repeat that so that you’re sure you read it right. Yes. Proponents claim that not surgically castrating children is an act of abuse. 

This comprehensive report on the problem from the UK has a summary that will help you understand the issue more clearly. 

It’s a moral reversal. 

Children who are put on “puberty blockers” are being put on the same chemicals used to chemically castrate rapists. They will never grow a natural, normal body, and their brains will not develop normally. Once they are put on cross-sex hormones, they will be permanently sterilized. Most of these children will have the ability to enjoy sexual pleasure as adults permanently taken by these nightmare interventions. 

And parents who are desperately trying to save their children from wicked social services agencies and doctors who can’t wait to perform Mengele-esque procedures are having their children taken away from them by family courts. 

Some of you reading this are shocked. You had no idea. That’s because the leftist media, and the leftist government, have lied. We should all be shocked that it took so many years for any politician to stand up and say “stop mutilating children.”

That’s what Donald Trump did, and it’s going to save innocent lives.

Surrounded by Fools: Bearded Lady Tells Ben Shapiro She’s a Man

It’s hard to say whether the fever of “gender ideology” may finally be breaking. Ever since Time Magazine declared in 2014 on its cover that America is reaching a “Transgender tipping point,” Americans have been bombarded with gender ideology. It seems there may be some cracks forming in this lunatic consensus, but if so, it’s going to take a while for the left to abandon the ideas. More on this below. 

But what is “gender ideology?” It is a constellation of ideas about sex, sexuality, humans, and “identities”, including:

  • The belief that biological sex is not real, but an arbitrary “choice.” No, it does not make sense, but yes, people do claim this. 
  • The belief that every person has a “gender identity,” and that “gender identity” is completely separate from their actual sexed body. For example, a man will be said to have a “female” “gender identity.” That means that he asserts that he believes he is a woman despite the factual reality. 
  • That a person’s “gender identity” controls whether they are male or female, with no regard to the person’s actual anatomy. 
  • Worst, the belief that children who do not conform to sex-role expectations (e.g., “boys play rough” and “girls like pretty things”) are born in the wrong body. Therefore, a little boy who likes sparkly princess stories is “really” a girl, and he should be chemically castrated and perhaps surgically, too. 

You can see what major medical institutions like the Cleveland Clinic say about “gender identity,” but be warned that allegedly scientific medical organizations are all completely captured by these magical beliefs. 

Until very recently, it has been socially forbidden to observe the obvious: a person who believes they were born in the wrong body and is actually the opposite sex has mental difficulties. Refusing to call men who claim to be women “she” has resulted in countless people being fired from their jobs and called bigots, and worse. 

But conservative commentator Ben Shapiro has  never been afraid to speak the truth. He walked right into the lion’s den recently, participating in a Youtube show called “Surrounded.” The conceit is that a speaker sits in the middle of a room surrounded by a circle of people who get a few minutes each to debate him on issues. 

That’s when this happened. 

The person on the right is not a man. She very much wants you to believe she is. She’s angry that Ben Shapiro won’t tell her that she’s a man. (It’s not clear from the video what her name is). But in reality, she is a woman on testosterone who has been “living as a man.” The picture above? That’s her swaggering over and turning the chair around to plunk down in a “manly” way (note the “manspread” sitting posture). 

In this short clip below, Shapiro and “Barb” debate the idea that someone can change their sex. Barb acts like a caricature of a macho bro-dude, hamming up the “masculine” mannerisms and speaking to Shapiro in a tone that sounds like she wants a fist fight. 

Here’s a sample of the dialogue:

Barb: First question-can men get pregnant? 

Ben: Men cannot get pregnant. 

Barb: So, I’m a transgender man, I’ve experienced SA (sexual abuse), and abortion rights affect me directly. So, if we’re talking about the American dream you live, why don’t I have access to that? Because there’s no legislation in the history of America that legislates a man’s body, so why does mine have to be legislated? I have a vagina.”

No, there isn’t more context that makes the above suddenly make sense. Here’s the whole clip. 

Barb wasn’t the only debate opponent who seemed, to put it generously, naïve. Here’s Ben speaking with a woman who asks, “Why does the definition of abortion have to include the death of a fetus?” Looking momentarily confused, Ben shoots back, “Because that’s literally the definition of ‘abortion’.”

You won’t be surprised to learn that his opponent does not agree.

Gender Ideology Doctors Cover Up Damning Data to Ensure More Kids Get Transed

We’ve been told that “gender affirming care” is lifesaving. We’ve been told it’s “medically necessary.” We’ve been emotionally blackmailed into accepting that loving parents should consent to the chemical and surgical mutilation of their children, lest those same children kill themselves (this is an abuse tactic commonly used by those with borderline personality disorder). 

But how many people know exactly what “gender-affirming care” actually means? It sounds nice, doesn’t it? Safe. Warm. Compassionate. But is it? 

“Gender-affirming care” is, in fact:

  • Lying to a child and telling that child that he or she can become the other sex
  • Validating this delusion in a child, and concretizing their mental distress into permanent illness
  • Blocking natural puberty with the same drugs used to chemically castrate rapists
  • Amputating breasts, removing testicles and penises, and much more

Would the millions of adult Americans who tell pollsters that they “support” “gender-affirming care” for children maintain that position if they really knew exactly what it was? It’s impossible to know. But what’s worse is the fact that the mainstream, establishment media has been actively covering up the truth, and actively campaigning for this child abuse to continue. 

It is impossible for any sane, skeptical people, including pediatricians, to get a hearing in the legacy media without being called “transphobes” who want children so distressed that they kill themselves. If that sounds insane to you, reader, that’s because it is insane. Remember, we now live in a country where it is considered a  prestige opinion  that there are children “born in the wrong body” who “need” sex-mutilating medical treatments.

That may be starting to change, just a smidge. Surprisingly, one of the worst purveyors of transgender nonsense, The New York Times, has published a story about the reluctance of gender medicine researchers to tell the truth. Doctor Johanna Olson-Kennedy, a big advocate for child sex changes, told the Times that she has not published her own study on the effects of puberty blockers on the mental health of children who take them. 

Why? Because she’s worried that her results will be “weaponized” against trans people.

According to the Washington Examiner:

“I do not want our work to be weaponized,” Olson-Kennedy told the publication.

The nearly $10 million study followed the development of 95 children from across the country to see if their mental health improved following treatment with puberty blockers.

Olson-Kennedy said that treatment with puberty blockers did not lead to mental health improvements. The unpublished findings contradict preliminary research released by Olson-Kennedy and colleagues in 2022, which found approximately a quarter of adolescents were depressed or suicidal before starting either puberty blockers or cross-sex hormones. 

It also contradicts the seminal Dutch study that has become the foundation for most gender clinics worldwide, which concluded that puberty blockers significantly improve the mental well-being of children with gender dysphoria.

In plain, honest terms, she decided not to tell the world that she found that puberty blockers did not improve “trans” children’s mental health because she’s politically committed to gender medicine, the harm to children be damned. She explicitly told the paper that she worries her findings would help more states ban “gender affirming care” for children. It appears that she wants children mutilated, and she wants no legal barriers that would save them.

Former Bachelorette Contestant Josh Seiter Gives Gender Reveal!

Remember that old commercial for cassette tapes? “Is it real, or is it Memorex?” The ad played on the idea that Memorex cassette tapes recorded sound with such high fidelity that you couldn’t tell if you were hearing a live performance or listening to a recording. As anyone from the days of the Sony WalkMan knows, no matter how good the cassette, there was always a tell-tale hiss that gave it away.

Similarly, there was just something about this lovely lady that seemed a bit off. 

It’s hard to say just what it is. She’s poised, confident and sitting pretty, no? Maybe it’s the way she applies her lipstick? Is it the shade of nail polish? It’s hard to put your finger on the problem, but maybe it’s the fact that she’s a he. 

If this guy looks familiar to you, you may know him as Josh Seiter, a former contestant on the reality show The Bachelorette. The show’s conceit is that a single woman chooses from a variety of male suitors to find her one true love. 

In recent months, the hunky Seiter traded in his button-downs and blue jeans for a more feminine look. 

All this time, Josh Seiter has been taking social media users on a gender journey. Slapping on some hasty makeup and a sundress, Seiter strolled along the streets talking into his camera in a ridiculous falsetto. Here he is talking about the gender price gap, which is the phenomenon of groceries costing double if you’re “a woman” like Josh compared to being a man. 

Social media has been asking: Is he for real? Is he really claiming to be a transgender woman? Is this all a joke? Even though you’re reading this and looking at the pictures and saying to yourself, “this is obviously a joke,” I’m afraid it’s not obvious. There is, literally, no way to separate satire from reality in a world where men like mediocre swimmer Will Thomas can transform himself into “Lia” and compete (and win) against actual female swimmers. The entire world took this seriously, and the mainstream press still refer to this dude as “she” when reporting on his legal loss that prevents him from competing in the Olympics as a woman. 

After keeping everyone on tenterhooks for months, Josh Seiter went on Alex Stein’s podcast to reveal that it’s all been a big hoax. But according to Seiter, it’s a hoax with a point. He says, correctly, that it’s ridiculous and insulting for society to treat these men-any of them-as if they were actual women.
