Kamala Harris has done a fantastic job of promoting herself without unveiling a single policy in the campaign so far.
Since being made the de facto nominee for the Democratic Party following President Joe Biden’s decision not to stand for re-election, Harris has been on a whistlestop tour of the United States. It’s one which has seen little face-to-face scrutiny with the media while the Vice President promises change from an administration which she is an integral part of.
Harris’ campaign events have provided little insight into what she would do if elected on November 5. Unfortunately, nor does her website.
Aside from regular reminders to give your hard-earned money to her campaign and requests to hand over your email address, the website features little substance. There are introductory articles on Harris and running mate Tim Walz, as well as a store if you wish to spend $22 on a cup with Harris’ name on it. There’s also an events page, so you can plan a quick getaway if the campaign comes to your town for your vote.
Yet, much like her campaign, there’s not a single mention of any policy.
Rejoice, though! There are at least nine different pronouns you can identify with if you want to jump on the bandwagon, as commentator Blaire White pointed out:
Many on social media were perplexed by the vast quantities of pronouns.
Commentator Brianna Wu, who is rumored to be transgender, said that beyond “they/them,” the pronoun saga was “stupid.”
Other users on social media said the charade was a perfect metaphor for Harris’ campaign.
Controversial LGBTQ(Whatever) TikTok influencer Jeffrey Marsh, who previously posted videos encouraging children to cut contact with their parents, has been invited to the Democratic National Convention.
The four-day convention in Chicago, IL, will be the moment Vice President Kamala Harris is officially nominated as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee to face Republican Donald Trump.
The DNC usually invites “featured guests” to attend the festivities in exchange for promotional material on social media, and Marsh is no exception.
Known for his controversial posts on TikTok, one of Marsh’s clips was reshared by the Libs of TikTok account in which he describes three ways to disrespect your elders.
In the minute-long clip, Marsh encourages those “struggling with a narcissistic parent or a bullying boss at work” to “play innocent” by acting confused. He also encourages kids to “feel no guilt” and “limit contact” with their parents in a dispute.
Many on social media noted that the Democrats’ decision to invite Marsh indicated the crowd it wishes to attract to the DNC.
Another user noted the $20,000 payment to influencers attending the convention.
Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz is arguably the most left-wing Democratic Party presidential ticket in modern history.
Both have been thrust into the political spotlight following President Joe Biden’s decision not to stand for re-election; Harris’ as the heir-apparent successor, with Gov. Walz has her running mate.
With the former under heavy scrutiny for avoiding the media, attention has turned to previous comments made by the pair as voters seek more information on the views of two people who wish to secure the presidency.
On social media, a clip from 2017 emerged of Gov. Walz addressing a town hall as Rep. for Minnesota’s 1st Congressional district, in which he said children as young as 10 could choose their own gender.
“These are children my son’s age, a fourth grader, a 10-year-old who, just wants to go to the bathroom… and their identity is male or female and they just go in that bathroom and use it,” Walz told the audience.
The Democratic VP pick has long held positions in support of transgenderism, including signing executive orders to make Minnesota a “trans refuge state” during his tenure as governor.
Many on social media were critical of Walz’s remarks in the clip.
Others presented actions concerned parents could take.
Few people would have believe you if, 20 years ago, you told them that one of the wholesome heartland states in America would become a cesspool of street violence, riots, and would be represented in Congress by a Somalian immigrant whose allegiance to her home country strikes many as outweighing her commitment to America.
Sound extreme? Then why did Governor Tim Walz recently sign off on an “update” to the Minnesota flag that looks reminiscent of the Somalian flag? Here’s the old Minnesota flag:
Here’s the new Minnesota flag as of 2023:
And here’s the flag of Somalia:
Leftist media are insisting that anyone who believes the new state flag is a nod to Somalia has fallen for a “right wing conspiracy theory.” Maybe. But is it that hard to believe, given far-left progressive MN Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s track record?
It’s not just flags. All sorts of interesting things are coming out regarding Tim Walz, the progressive MN governor picked by Kamala Harris as her vice-presidential running mate. He’s being accused of stolen valor for allegedly lying about his military service, and for, supposedly, abandoning his military comrades to avoid being deployed to Iraq.
You knew LGBTQ was going to come into this, didn’t you? Of course, Walz signed a bill last year that makes Minnesota a “sanctuary state” for so-called “trans kids” (there is no such thing as a transgender child because there is no such thing as a transgender person). What this means is that a parent who wants to mutilate her child can take him to Minnesota, and the state will not obey an extradition or arrest orders from the originating state—even if the family is in a custody battle and the father does not want his child surgically abused.
So this won’t be any surprise, either. LibsofTikTok highlighted a story about how Walz used taxpayer money to hire a “Satanic” drag queen to perform at a show open to children.
Draq queen “Martina Marracino,” who calls himself “Adam Divine” when filming pornographic films, specializes in making gay incest-themed adult movies. But that’s all just fine, because his drag performance in Minnesota was “made possible by the voters of Minnesota.” Huh?
A poster advertising the show put it this way: “This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.”
It seems unlikely the majority of Minnesotans want their tax dollars going to a man who dresses as a woman and pretends to have sex with family members on camera, but what would we know?
Let’s see what social media users had to say:
You’ve caught on to how the Democratic party is trying to portray ordinary conservatives as “weird,” recently. Perhaps it’s time to turn that around.
This user had the same idea:
What say you, Wokespy readers? Who is weirder? Say, mean old JD Vance, or Minnesota’s “Tampon Timmy?”
Kamala Harris has previously been described as one of America’s most left-wing politicians.
For sure, some websites may delete previous claims about that, but the internet reveals a very pro-left standpoint by the Democrat’s presidential nominee.
A recently published video montage tells the tale:
Harris has an obsession with equity over equality. In her own words, “Equality suggests often that everybody should get the same thing. Well, that often assumes everybody started out in the same place. [That’s] opposed to equity, which is [where] everybody should end up in the same place.”
As Vice President, Harris has previously stated that equity “should be put firmly at the center of our economic policy.”
Of course, you can’t have DEI without “equity”, so it’s perhaps no surprise that the Democrat is obsessed with the term.
The trouble with equity is that while it may sound promising in principle, it ultimately involves a system where some people – through no fault of their own – are derived of opportunities more than others. It is a fantasist concept, where everyone ends up “in the same place”.
Now that Kamala Harris has picked Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her vice-presidential running mate, we have a chance to look at Walz’s legislative record to see what the man really wants.
More on that below, but first we have to prepare the ground to understand what’s at stake. Most people have no idea how much devilry springs from the writing of laws. Few have the time or the knowledge to read bills and proposed regulations down to the level of detail necessary to understand what the law will really do.
Some of this is just the nature of legislative sausage-making. Even with the best efforts of drafters, effective legal language is sometimes going to be hard to understand. Your faithful correspondent used to specialize in reading and drafting proposed consumer protection laws, and it took time to translate these into plain English so both citizens and lawmakers understood exactly what they were being asked to consider.
But the complication and confusion is sometimes by design. Activists know that not one in 10,000 citizens will read a bill all the way through, let alone carefully parse the definitions of terms used in the bill. Almost all legislation has a “definitions” section at the beginning. It’s a mini-dictionary. This section is necessary because the way lawmakers define common words in legislation is often different from the way regular people use those words.
“Statutory construction” is the process drafters use to structure laws so that they convey their intended meaning and do not conflict with other existing laws.
For example, pretend there’s a bill to regulate the exhaust coming out of car tail pipes. The proposed law is meant to govern only passenger cars, not utility vehicles like tractor-trailers or farm equipment. The bill would define “automobile” in a way that would read like this:
Automobile—a mechanized four-wheel conveyance powered by an internal combustion engine that is used for private non-commercial transportation of not more than eight passengers on ordinary roadways. For the purposes of this bill, the term ‘automobile’ shall not include conveyances such as buses, tractor trailers, utility trucks or motorcycles, or vehicles used exclusively to perform earth-moving or farm work.
Now that you understand that, it will be easier to see the devil buried in the definitional details of a law signed by Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. The Republican National Committee’s “RNCResearch” Twitter/X account highlighted it:
Here is the bill’s language. Text that is stricken through will be deleted from the law. Text that is underlined will be added to the law.
Notice what the RNC is pointing out. The bill deliberately removed language that would exclude pedophilia from the definition of sexual orientation. Put another way, the bill now considers pedophilic attractions to be a “sexual orientation” in the same way that being straight or gay is a sexual orientation.
What will be the effect? Because the law governs what Minnesota calls “human rights,” and because the law bans what it calls mistreatment or discrimination based on sexual orientation, pedophiles are now legally protected from “discrimination.” Under the old law, it would be illegal for a business to fire an employee who was gay. But under the new law, it would also now be illegal for a business to fire an employee who admitted he was attracted to children.
Say a toy store found an employee with explicit child images on his social media. Naturally recognizing that such a person likely poses a risk to children in the store, the toy company wants to remove this employee. But now it can’t, because Tim Walz’s Minnesota says that’s an illegal act against the pedophile. So “Chester molester” gets to continue selling toys to children because the store will be prosecuted if it tries to protect its young customers from a possible predator.
If you want a look at how radical Tim Walz’s progressive leftist policies really are, there is plenty out there.
When it comes to this bill, the good news is that many social media users appear to see what it’s really about:
But prepare to get angry. The left is so insistent on enacting its diabolical agenda that activists are disputing that this law is real. They are telling lies that are easy to disprove while calling people who are alarmed by the truth “MAGA cultists.”
It is Gene Trevino’s claims that are false. He is citing the removed and deleted section of the law that protected children, and falsely claiming that this protective section still exists. It does not. That was the entire point of the bill Walz signed, to remove that protection. You can confirm this for yourself by reading the law directly on the Minnesota Legislature’s Website.
Keep your guard up, Wokespy readers. The devil is in the details, and he is ravenously hungry.
Kamala Harris’ selection as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee has been nothing short of controversy.
The Vice President’s been skipping media interviews, while herself and Republican candidate Donald Trump are yet to agree to a debate in September despite offers from ABC and Fox News.
However, one of the major talking points of the campaign so far has revolved around Harris’ ethnicity after former president Trump said he “didn’t know” she was Black. Trump’s remarks were widely taken out of context, and in reality referred to Harris adapting her background depending on the audience she was speaking to. For years Harris was referred to as Indian, only to magically become Black recently. She never before emphasized a “mixed race” identity, making this act of pandering even more obvious.
The news caught the attention of prominent radio host Charlamagne tha God.
“All these conversations about what’s Black, who’s Black… forget all that,” the Breakfast Club host said. “We all know Kamala Harris is Black, and we all know she’s Indian. And we also know Donald Trump is a bigot, and we know he’s divisive.”
Charlamagne, who was once told by President Joe Biden that he “ain’t Black” if he didn’t plan to vote for him, contradicted himself with his own past comments. In 2019, the radio broadcaster asked the then-Senator for California about whether or not she was black enough; “What do you say to people questioning the legitimacy of your Blackness?”
Watch for yourself below:
Social media users were critical of the radio host.
Others noted a change of phrasing by left-wing extremists.
Deflection is neither a science nor an art, though Democrats have mastered its intricacies. Deflection is a response when no other narrative works. It’s usually a knee jerk reaction, but Democrats have turned it into their Standard Operating Procedure.
On Saturday, Trump made arrangements to replace the September 10 ABC debate he had scheduled with Joe Biden with a September 4 Fox News debate. He cited current litigation with ABC anchor George Stephanopoulos and the change in candidates for the shift.
“I have agreed with FoxNews to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th. The Debate was previously scheduled against Sleepy Joe Biden on ABC, but has been terminated in that Biden will no longer be a participant, and I am in litigation against ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos, thereby creating a conflict of interest. The FoxNews Debate will be held in the Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, at a site in an area to be determined. The Moderators of the Debate will be Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, and the Rules will be similar to the Rules of my Debate with Sleepy Joe, who has been treated horribly by his Party – BUT WITH A FULL ARENA AUDIENCE!….”
Harris’ team responded on Saturday by claiming Trump is “running scared”:
“Donald Trump is running scared and trying to back out of the debate he already agreed to and running straight to Fox News to bail him out,” Harris campaign communications director Michael Tyler said in a statement Saturday. He needs to stop playing games and show up to the debate he already committed to on Sept 10. The Vice President will be there one way or the other to take the opportunity to speak to a prime time national audience.”
“We’re happy to discuss further debates after the one both campaigns have already agreed to. Mr. Anytime, anywhere, anyplace should have no problem with that unless he’s too scared to show up on the 10th.”
Reactions from social media have been a collective eyeroll regarding the ludicrous excuse.
Journalist Carmine Sabia reminded Harris that she already agreed to debate J.D. Vance on Fox News. Why won’t she debate Trump there?
Kamala Harris declines Fox News debate against Donald Trump. But she accepted a Fox News debate against JD Vance when Biden was the nominee. It is weird that she is so scared.
Conservative commentator Sean Davis said, “Trump agreed to debate Biden. Biden then dropped out of the race after everyone saw his brain was made of pudding. At no point did Trump ever agree to debate someone who wasn’t even nominated and hadn’t received a single vote.”
Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly reminded Barack Obama’s former campaign manager David Plouffe that Trump has shown nothing but courage in his media appearances.
He went on CNN for a debate w/a network that loathes him (not to mention to the NABJ). @BretBaier & @marthamaccallum would be totally professional & fair & have a history of asking Trump hard Qs – I know, I was there. Why is she too scared to do this on Fox?
Donald Trump Jr. called Harris a coward, noting, ” My father already did a debate with Fake News CNN, so is Kamala going to accept the debate with Fox News? Or is she going to be a coward and back out?”
With Trump unable to debate on ABC due to litigation and Harris unwilling to debate on Fox News, will there even be a debate between the two?
The effective confirmation of Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee means we all must endure at least three months of left-wing extremists telling us how to live our lives, and how to cast our vote – all while being cringe-inducing while doing so.
One group to watch are the “white women for Kamala Harris” who, as the name suggests, are white liberal women in favor of the Democrat who also happen to suffer from white guilt.
At the end of July, the group held a Zoom call where they all instructed others on how to prepare for the upcoming political battle for the White House.
After warning about toxicity, teacher turned self-proclaimed influencer, Arielle Fodor, proved old habits die hard and offered a lecture on how white women can assist “marginalized communities,” whatever those are.
“The toxic [sic] feels smaller when we support each other,” she told others on the Zoom call. “But don’t make it about yourself; as white women we need to use our privilege to make positive changes.”
“If you find yourself talking over or speaking for BIPOC [Black, Indigenous, and people of color] individuals or, God forbid, correcting them, just take a beat,” she added. “Instead, we can put our listening ears on.”
So, there we have it; political correctness has come full circle – where it’s now considered politically incorrect to correct someone if they’re incorrect.
Fortunately, many women on social media distanced themselves from the group.
Others found the instructional language demeaning.
A replica of the Liberty Bell was recently vandalized with pro-Hamas symbols and anti-Israel messages amid a visit to the Capitol by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Thousands of rioters descended on the Washington D.C. monument as Netanyahu addressed Congress, with the Liberty Bell being a prominent target.
The bell was covered in graffiti, including hateful messages which read “F*** Israel”, “Abolish Israel”, and “All Zionists are bastards”. A red triangular symbol synonymous with Hamas was also drawn on the monument, as well as a message, “Long Live the Intifada”, which is a euphemism for violence against Israelis and Jews.
Elsewhere in D.C., rioters graffitied “Hamas is coming” on the Christopher Columbus statue. At Union Station, 23 people were arrested for a gathering which saw burnings of the American flags an effigy of Netanyahu.
Many on social media platform X decried the vandalism, with owner and CEO Elon Musk describing it as “messed up”.
Others were incandescent with anger.
Another called for criminal prosecution.
Investigative journalist and veteran Sarah Fields added further context on the significance of the rioters’ actions and the importance of the Liberty Bell.
