JD Vance Slams Media’s Deportation Narrative: “We Do What the American People Want”

JD Vance Slams Media's Deportation Narrative: "We Do What the American People Want"

Vice President JD Vance responded to the media’s narrative on the Trump administration’s handling of mass deportations after several networks reported an alleged innocent father being deported due to an administrative error.

During an appearance on Fox & Friends, Vance addressed the story of a Maryland father, Abrego Garcia, who had mistakenly been deported to El Salvador despite having protected legal status.

Unsurprisingly, the Democrats and media are now using the story to craft a narrative against Trump’s deportation operations.

However, that father was associated with the violent MS-13 gang, according to an immigration judge in 2019.

Vance weighed in on the revelation.

“Back in 2019, an immigration judge looked at all the evidence, looked at all the data, and concluded that this allegedly innocent person that we sent to El Salvador was actually a member of an MS-13 gang,” Vance explained.

“He had also committed some traffic violations. He had not shown up for some court dates.”

“This is not exactly Father of the Year here. This is a person that we don’t think should be in our country.”

Vance also noted that Democrats and the media have zero justification for Garcia being deported.

“This was unquestionably an illegal alien. This was unquestionably a person who broke the laws to get into our country,” Vance said.

“This is unquestionably a person an immigration judge found had zero right to be in the United States of America,” Vance continued.

“We do not ask permission from far-left Democrats before we deport illegal immigrants. We do the American people’s business.”

Watch:

The vice president also slammed Democrats for having a “weird” and “mistaken placement of priorities” when it came to defending illegals.

For instance, Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin demanded Trump return the recently deported Venezuelan gang members to the United States.

“I call on my colleagues to demand that the Trump Administration comply with all judicial orders while appealing whichever ones they want to appeal, and to demand the return of people unlawfully taken to El Salvador on that so-called plane full of ‘gang bangers,’” Raskin said on Tuesday.

Watch:

Vance said the deportation efforts are meant to make the country safer.

“We need to make our country stronger. We need to create jobs. We need to make our streets safer,” Vance told Jones.

“What is it about congressional Democrats that get more angry at deporting violent gang members than they do at the victims of those violent gang members.”

“I don’t even understand where they’re coming from. They’ve gone off the deep end, and they gotta come back to reality.”

Immigrants Argue That 2,100,000 Non-Citizens Getting Social Security Numbers Is Major Concern

Veroniksha / Tinseltown / Shutterstock.com

Legal immigrant Elon Musk and second-generation immigrant, Valor Equity Partner’s Antonio Gracias, went viral Sunday, for revealing that an estimated 2.1 million non-citizens received Social Security numbers in 2024, up from 270,000 in 2021.

A video shared on X showed Musk and Gracias on stage discussing the data at a 100-minute town hall in Green Bay, Wisconsin, ahead of today’s (April 1) state Supreme Court election, according to Business Insider.

“This isn’t political,” Gracias explained about the data, noting that his parents and siblings are all first-generation immigrant and that he is pro-legal immigration. The issue appeared to be within a process that allowed non-legal immigrants arriving over the northern and southern borders to apply to work permits and immediately receive a Social Security number without an interview or even showing a form of identification, MoneyControl reported.

How Did This System Work?

In order to fully understand how so many people received Social Security numbers in 2024, Gracias went to the border and spoke to border patrol. “I went to Laredo and I went to Bronzeville. Elon went to Eagle Pass. You walk up to a Border Patrol officer and you tell them you want to come in. They have a couple of choices. They could charge you with a misdemeanor or a felony under thirteen twenty-five or they can make an administrative offense like a parking ticket basically,” he explained.

“They were told to do that, make an administrative offense under the last administration. And you go walk across the border, they do what’s called a release your neurocognizance, and they give you an NTA, notice to appear, which appear to judge. The wait times on judges are like average six years, you’ll get GROC, you’ll see it on immigration judges. There’s only seven hundred of them. This is five point five million people,” Gracias continued.

“So what happens then? Once you’re in the country and you’ve got asylum through one of these pathways, we’ve mapped the whole thing out, you can apply for a work document. You file a seven sixty-five, it’s the work form. You get this form called the seven sixty-six, That’s the authorization. And then Social Security Administration automatically sends you in the mail your Social Security number. No interview. No ID.”

Criminal Issues

Human traffickers are estimated to have made $13 to $15 billion off the process described by Gracias, that money moving “around the world.” Much of this money came from those looking to come to the U.S. illegally who paid cartels to help them.

“There are thirty thousand children that have not appeared on the notice to appear already. ICE knows this. Thirty thousand children, two hundred and seventy thousand children didn’t even get notices to appear. ICE told us that kids are being trafficked back and forth across the border to complete families to make this easier. This is a human tragedy,” Gracias continued. He also noted that countless people likely died on their journey to the U.S.

“The tragedy the human tragedy this created is extraordinary. That’s the real problem. This is America. We don’t do this here in America. We don’t do this here in America. People come here legally, and that’s great. Elon came here legally. My parents came here legally. That’s the way to do it. This is outrageous.”

Political Concerns

Musk argued that this was allowed to happen because former President Joe Biden and his administration were “asleep,” allowing for “a massive large scale program to import as many illegals as possible, ultimately to change the entire voting map of the United States and disenfranchise the American people and make it a permanent, deep blue, one party state from which there would be no escape.”

He later added that the process constitutes what he considers “the biggest voter fraud thing in history by far.” Had the system been “left unchecked, it would have succeeded.”

“The voter ID requirement in this state is super important because of this. It’s a Social Security number. It’s not supposed to be a Federal ID number, but it basically is. That’s how you access all the benefits. This is why we need voter ID, because this thing is not secure,” Gracias argued. “You could walk into a Social Security office today, today as an adult America, and get a Social Security number enumerated with simply answering six or seven simple questions and showing some forms of ID that are not federal ID.”

Trump’s Mass Deportation Plan on Record Pace Despite District Judge Interference

Since President Donald Trump returned to the White House in January, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has deported over 100,000 individuals and made more than 113,000 arrests, according to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) source who spoke to The Post on Monday.

The surge in removals comes as part of President Trump’s renewed immigration enforcement strategy, which began immediately after his Jan. 20 inauguration.

On his first day in office, he declared a national emergency at the southern border, deployed thousands of troops, suspended the asylum system for those entering the country illegally, and launched a nationwide deportation effort.

“He’s doing what he was voted in to do. Point blank!” an ICE source told The Post.

ICE has reportedly reached full capacity in its detention facilities and is now asking Congress to approve funding for additional beds.

The request comes after ICE arrested 32,000 individuals in the first 50 days of the Trump administration’s mass deportation initiative.

Although officials have not released detailed information on how many of the detainees are convicted criminals or what their national origins are, sources believe that the majority of deportees are being sent to Mexico.

In addition to ramping up arrests and removals, President Trump has implemented measures targeting transnational criminal organizations.

One such move involved invoking the Alien Enemies Act, a rarely used statute dating back to the 18th century, to deport members of Venezuelan gangs without trial.

On Sunday night, 17 alleged gang members from Tren de Aragua and MS-13 were transferred in shackles to a high-security prison in El Salvador, despite a federal judge having blocked the use of the Alien Enemies Act earlier in the month.

Illegal crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border have also dropped significantly.

DHS sources described the decline as “the Trump effect,” attributing the drop to the administration’s strict enforcement policies and emphasis on consequences for those entering the country illegally.

“Illegal entries into the United States are no longer a backdoor way to getting status,” a DHS source said.

In March, just under 7,000 illegal migrants crossed into the U.S., marking a 94% drop compared to the 137,000 who entered during the same month in 2024 under Joe Biden.

February also saw a sharp decline, with approximately 8,300 crossings—reportedly the lowest monthly total in at least 25 years.

“Everyone who is caught is charged and does time,” a DHS source stated.

“Migrants are scared there are consequences now.”

Most of the illegal crossings in recent weeks have occurred in the San Diego and El Paso border sectors, according to sources familiar with the data.

If the current pace continues, 2025 could see the lowest number of illegal border crossings since 1968.

President Trump’s immigration enforcement policies remain one of the defining issues of his administration, with ICE and DHS agencies moving swiftly to implement the directives.

As deportations continue to rise and border crossings decline, the administration has signaled it will continue pushing for greater resources to maintain and expand the current crackdown.

Dem Rep Rashida Tlaib Seems Upset That Terrorists Are Being Killed by Americans

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is facing bipartisan backlash after responding to reports of U.S. military airstrikes against Iran-backed Houthi militants in Yemen by criticizing the response to a national security leak rather than the actions of the armed group. The controversy stems from a Signal group chat reportedly used by top U.S. officials, including Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, to discuss classified details related to upcoming military strikes.

According to reports, Jeffrey Goldberg, editor of The Atlantic, was accidentally added to the chat, prompting immediate concern from lawmakers.

“This is an outrageous national security breach, and heads should roll,” Rep. Chris Deluzio (D-PA) told Axios, a quote relayed by reporter Andrew Solender on X.

Tlaib replied to Solender’s post, writing, “More heat for using a group chat than for the bombing itself.”

Her response drew swift criticism across political lines, particularly due to the nature of the U.S. airstrikes, which targeted Houthi operatives classified as a terrorist group.

Critics accused Tlaib of once again appearing to minimize or dismiss the threat posed by militant organizations.

“They’re bombing terrorists, Rashida,” Townhall editor Katie Pavlich wrote in response to Tlaib.

Former CNN anchor and current NewsNation host Chris Cuomo added, “You want them to attack more Americans?”

“I mean, yeah, because killing Iranian-backed jihadists is a good thing,” wrote Jerry Dunleavy, Chief Investigative Correspondent at Just the News.

President Donald Trump authorized the strikes earlier this month, citing a pattern of Houthi aggression in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden targeting U.S. and allied maritime and aerial assets.

“They have waged an unrelenting campaign of piracy, violence, and terrorism against American, and other, ships, aircraft, and drones,” Trump said.

“Joe Biden’s response was pathetically weak, so the unrestrained Houthis just kept going.”

“The Houthi attack on American vessels will not be tolerated,” Trump added.

“We will use overwhelming lethal force until we have achieved our objective.”

The Houthis, officially known as Ansar Allah, are a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organization backed by the Iranian regime. They have been responsible for multiple attacks on civilian and military targets in the region, including U.S. ships, and have received global condemnation for their actions.

Rep. Tlaib has previously made headlines for controversial statements regarding foreign policy. In July 2023, she held up a sign in Congress reading “War Criminal” and “Guilty of Genocide” while Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered an address. Later that year, she was censured by the House for promoting Hamas propaganda and making inflammatory comments in the aftermath of the October 7 terror attacks in Israel.

In May 2023, Tlaib appeared at an art show featuring material that advocated for the elimination of Israel and glorified individuals linked to terrorism. Following the Hamas-led attack on Israel in October, she made a public statement amplifying false reports about an Israeli strike on a hospital — a claim that was later debunked.

Her comments were cited as contributing to unrest in Washington, D.C., where hundreds of protesters were arrested after entering federal buildings. The body of criticism directed at Rep. Tlaib continues to grow as lawmakers and commentators question her repeated alignment with extremist narratives.

The latest comments surrounding U.S. military action against the Houthis have renewed calls for disciplinary action in Congress.

Bernie Sanders Bends the Knee, Supports Trump’s Border Security: “Nobody Thinks Illegal Immigration Is Appropriate”

Senator Bernie Sanders has shocked everyone by supporting President Trump’s efforts to secure the border and curb illegal immigration. Sen. Sanders was responding to a question by This Week’s host Jonathan Karl, who asked him if Trump had, so far, done anything right.

“I think cracking down on fentanyl, making sure our borders are stronger,” Sanders replied.

“Look, nobody thinks illegal immigration is appropriate, and I happen to think we need comprehensive immigration reform, but I don’t think it’s appropriate for people to be coming across the border illegally.”

Sanders’ change of tune is surprising considering that he proposed giving taxpayer-funded health insurance for illegal immigrants.

Nonetheless, he opposed mass deportations, which he said would destroy the country. Trump has so far focused on removing dangerous criminals, including Tren de Aragua gang members and illegal aliens with a criminal history.

“He wants to deport 20 million people who are in this country who are undocumented,” Sanders said.

“Well, you do that, you destroy the entire country.”

“Because I got news for you, Trump’s billionaire friends are not going to pick the crops in California that feed us.”

“They’re not going to work in meatpacking houses,” he continued. “That’s what undocumented people are doing.”

Ironically, Democrats did not believe former President Obama’s deportations would affect crop picking. Hillary Clinton also ran on a secure border platform, which the Democrats did not believe (or pretend to believe) would affect food security at the time.

Recently, vocal anti-Trump Texas Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett said Trump’s deportations were an attempt to bring back slavery by sending black people back to the fields.

“As they have decided to go after immigrants and these — and things like that, and they’ve said, ‘Oh, they’ve taken your black job, they’ve taken your black jobs,'” she said.

“Not really, they are obviously jobs that they want us to go back to, such as work in the fields, alright?”

“Those immigrants that come into our country, they work the fields, something that we ain’t done in a long time,” added Crockett. “And clearly, he is trying to make us go back to the fields.”

Another Democrat, Rep. Hank Johnson (GA) said Trump’s deportations return black Americans to the slavery and cotton-picking era.

“It puts us back to when America was ‘great,’ and we were picking cotton and doing the productivity that they’re putting my Latino brothers and sisters who migrate here to do that work because we are not suited intellectually to do it anymore.”

Meanwhile, while Sanders only approved Trump’s effort to secure the border, most Americans believe he was fulfilling his campaign promises.

According to a February 2025 CBS News/YouGov poll, more than two-thirds (70%) of Americans believe the president has kept his word.

On border security, 59 percent of Americans approved his deportation efforts, while 41 percent opposed it. Similarly, 64 percent of Americans supported the deployment of U.S. Troops to the southern border to curb illegal immigration and drug smuggling, compared to 36% who opposed the deployment.

Trump’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war also received the support of most Americans (54 percent), while 46 percent disapproved.

Other promises that Trump has delivered include banning men out of women’s sports, which 79 percent of Americans support, by signing the “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” executive order.

Karoline Leavitt Delivers Good News on Trump’s Deportation Flights

During Wednesday’s White House press briefing, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that the Trump administration will continue its large-scale deportation efforts, including the removal of illegal alien gang members to Central and South America.

The announcement came in response to a question from Katie, who was seated in the New Media Seat at the briefing. She asked whether additional flights carrying Venezuelan gang members—now designated as foreign terrorists—would be departing for El Salvador or other destinations in light of a recent court ruling.

Her question referenced U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, the chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, who over the weekend ordered the administration to return flights carrying alleged Tren de Aragua gang members to Venezuela. Leavitt responded decisively, stating that Americans “can absolutely expect to see the continuation of the mass deportation campaign that has been successfully led by this president, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, and also our Secretary of State Marco Rubio.”

She also criticized the role of federal judges in attempting to block the administration’s immigration enforcement policies.

“Since you brought up the judges, I would like to point out that the judges in this country are acting erroneously. We have judges who are acting as partisan activists from the bench. They are trying to dictate policy from the President of the United States. They are trying to clearly slow-walk this administration’s agenda, and it’s unacceptable,” Leavitt said.

She further emphasized the administration’s position on judicial interference:

“As the President said last night, we will continue to comply with these court orders. We will continue to fight these battles in courts, but it’s incredibly apparent that there is a concerted effort by the far left to judge shop, to pick judges who are clearly acting as partisan activists from the bench in an attempt to derail this president’s agenda. We will not allow that to happen, and not only are they usurping the will of the president and the chief executive of our country, but they are undermining the will of the American public, tens of millions of Americans who duly elected this President to implement the policies that are coming out of this White House.”

On Wednesday, Judge Boasberg granted the administration an additional day to turn over details regarding the deportation flights. The Trump Department of Justice (DOJ) has responded by citing “state secrets” in defense of withholding that information. This legal battle is not the only controversy surrounding Boasberg’s ruling.

Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) has officially filed articles of impeachment against Judge Boasberg, following a call from President Donald Trump on Truth Social urging Republicans to take action. Gill had previewed his intent to pursue impeachment earlier in the week.

In addition to Gill’s efforts, other House Republicans have joined the push for judicial accountability. Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ), Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN), and Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA) have filed articles of impeachment against other federal judges whom they accuse of judicial activism against the Trump administration.

Thanks to President Trump’s policies, illegal immigration into the United States has been drastically reduced. Despite claims from left-wing media and political opponents, new legislation was not required to secure the border—just a new president. With the administration continuing its mass deportation efforts and Congress moving to hold activist judges accountable, the fight over immigration enforcement remains a central issue in Washington.

Kash Patel’s FBI Takes Down 300 Violent Gang Members in Massive Crackdown

Image Credit:© Alex Gould/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK

The FBI, under President Donald Trump’s leadership, has arrested more than 300 violent gang members over the past two weeks, marking a significant push to combat crime and drug trafficking across the country. The operation has led to the seizure of large amounts of narcotics, weapons, currency, and other illicit goods.

Kash Patel, a senior Trump administration official, highlighted the scale of the crackdown and its impact on public safety.

“In just two short weeks, we have arrested over 300 violent felonies gang members, including MS-13 and 18 gangsters,” Patel said.

“We have taken seizure of hundreds of pounds of narcotics and hundreds of weapons and currency and illicit goods. That’s just what you can do when you put the brave men and women of law enforcement in one room and get the hell out of their way. And we are going to do that in every state across this country.”

Patel specifically pointed to law enforcement success in Massachusetts, where authorities federally indicted more than 50 violent gang members and drug traffickers.

Nearly 200 kilograms of fentanyl were seized in recent weeks as part of the operation.

“In Massachusetts alone, in the last couple of weeks, they have indicted federally over 50 violent gang members and narco traffickers, seizing almost 200 kilograms of fentanyl,” Patel stated, as the audience responded with applause.

The initiative comes as the administration intensifies its efforts to combat the nationwide drug overdose crisis, which claims American lives at an alarming rate.

“There is no time for us to waste on this job,” Patel emphasized.

“And that’s why, under President Trump’s leadership and General Bondi’s leadership, we have been instructed to get after it, and that’s exactly what we are doing.”

The crisis extends beyond drug-related deaths, as violent crime continues to surge. Patel underscored the grim statistics, linking the crime wave to border security failures.

“We have to especially get after it when we lose an American citizen every seven minutes to a drug overdose,” Patel said.

“We have to especially get after it when a woman or child is raped in this country nearly every six minutes, and we have to especially get after it when there are two homicides nearly every hour in this country. Violent crime is exploding, and it is a direct result of the border invasion that occurred.”

Despite these challenges, Patel praised the administration’s efforts in reversing the crime trend and securing communities.

“Thanks to this administration, and thanks to your relentless work on the field of battle to protect our citizenry, we are finally curbing those astronomical numbers,” he said.

“And what that means is we are saving American lives. We are providing our children with safe schools and playgrounds so that they can be educated and grow up in a fun neighborhood, like we all have the privilege of doing in this great community.”

With a renewed focus on tackling gang violence, drug trafficking, and border security issues, the administration has signaled its intent to continue nationwide operations aimed at restoring law and order.

BOMBSHELL SCANDAL: ICE Confirms Biden Admin Cooked the Books on Illegal Alien Arrests

New data released by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) highlights a dramatic shift in immigration enforcement under President Donald Trump, with interior arrests already surpassing the total number made during the entirety of Fiscal Year 2024 under Joe Biden.

According to Fox News’ Bill Melugin, senior ICE and DHS officials provided updated numbers on immigration enforcement, revealing a stark contrast between the Trump and Biden administrations’ handling of illegal immigration.

In a background call with reporters, ICE officials confirmed that in just the first 50 days of Trump’s presidency (January 20 – March 10, 2025), ICE arrested 32,809 illegal aliens in the interior of the U.S.

This figure nearly matches the 33,300 arrests made in all of Fiscal Year 2024 under the Biden-Harris administration. Officials further stated that in just two days following March 10, Trump’s ICE operations had already exceeded Biden’s total for the previous year.

ICE data breaks down the arrests made under Trump so far:

  • 14,111 convicted criminals
  • 9,980 illegal aliens with pending charges
  • 8,000+ immigration violators
  • 47,600 currently detained illegal aliens, maxing out available ICE detention beds

ICE and DHS officials also revealed that under the Biden-Harris administration, ICE arrest numbers were “falsely inflated” by counting illegal aliens who were processed and released into the U.S. as “interior ICE arrests.”

Tulsi Gabbard Drops Bombshell: Biden Admin Freed Many ISIS-Linked Illegal Aliens Into U.S.

Image Credit: © Owen Ziliak/The Republic / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

The Biden administration’s reckless border policies have once again put American lives at risk, as only eight out of more than 100 migrants with suspected ISIS ties were locked up or deported after illegally crossing into the U.S.

That’s the shocking revelation from Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who exposed the alarming failure during a border visit on Wednesday, as The New York Post reported.
Migrant plead with the Texas National Guard to be let in on the north embankment of the Rio Grande in El Paso, Texas in order to be processed by Border Patrol on March 20, 2024.

Now, the Trump administration is being forced to clean up the mess, working to track down the terror-linked migrants who were set loose under Biden’s watch.

Gabbard joined Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth at Eagle Pass, Texas, where they detailed the catastrophe left behind by the previous administration.

Gabbard revealed that the migrants in question hail from Central Asian nations known for ISIS recruitment. They were linked to an ISIS-affiliated smuggling network—and yet, the Biden team did next to nothing about it.

Even more disturbing, federal officials knew that over 4,000 migrants had used ISIS-linked smugglers to cross the border, and that hundreds were identified as terrorists or associates of known terrorists.
President Joe Biden announces a new student loan forgiveness program on April 8, 2024, in Madison, Wis.

But instead of taking swift action, the Biden administration allowed nearly all of them to roam free. She stated that when she took over, she found that only eight of those migrants had either been deported or remained in custody.

Gabbard slammed the previous administration for its failure to protect the homeland:

“That information was provided to the Biden Administration. You may remember in some of the news a little over one hundred of those people were arrested in 2024. Of those who were arrested, only eight were either deported or remained in custody.”

Then came the chilling question: Where are the rest?

“Only eight, the rest of them were released back into our country. Where are they? What are they doing? What may they be plotting? This is just the beginning.”

While Biden and his team ignored national security threats, President Trump’s leadership is already reversing the damage.

During their visit, Vance praised Trump’s rapid action to secure the border, noting that illegal crossings are now at their lowest levels in recorded history.
Former President Donald Trump with vice presidential nominee JD Vance during the second day of the Republican National Convention at the Fiserv Forum. The second day of the RNC focused on crime and border policies.

Eagle Pass, once a hotspot for unchecked migration, has seen daily crossings plummet from 1,500 to just 30—all without new laws or endless D.C. debates.

“It turns out we didn’t need new laws, we didn’t need fancy legislation, we just needed a new president of the United States,” Vance declared.

Hegseth agreed but made it clear: there’s still work to do. He emphasized the administration’s commitment to achieving full “operational control” over the border, ensuring that the disastrous policies of the past never return.

While Biden’s failures left America vulnerable, Trump’s leadership is restoring law and order. But with ISIS-linked migrants still unaccounted for, the question remains: How much danger did the last administration leave behind?

ICE Raids Target “Worst of the Worst” Despite DNC-Linked Sabotage

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem led Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in Northern Virginia on Tuesday morning as part of a two-day effort to target illegal alien gang members in the Washington, D.C., suburbs.

The raids were carried out in coordination with multiple federal law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

The operation focused on apprehending members of criminal organizations such as MS-13 and the 18th Street Gang, as well as individuals with prior convictions for violent or sexual crimes.

Despite a leak of the raid details by Vanity Fair congressional reporter Pablo Manriquez—who also appeared to provide guidance to potential targets on how to evade capture—Noem made it clear that the enforcement actions would not be disrupted.

Following the raids, Noem issued a statement reinforcing her department’s commitment to enforcing immigration laws.
